Let Your Intuition Guide You

This week’s headline items: there are no longer any stationing (exalted) planets in the sky; the last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Thursday afternoon; Mars changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Saturday late morning.

I should also note that Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning, but continues in the US.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for almost 7 hours); Thursday very early morning (3 hours); and Saturday very early morning (almost 11 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 25th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 5pm EDT. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday late morning, at 10:11am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 7 hours, until 5pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with others, socialize, and share information with them.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to pre-plan Monday late morning until the early evening.

Monday at 5pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel…

October 18th – 24th

When is enough, enough?

This week’s headline items: very early Monday, Jupiter comes to a halt, ending its 4-month Retrograde phase — and Mercury follows suit later that morning. Saturn ends its Station phase on Tuesday and Pluto does likewise on Thursday. The Full Moon in Aries becomes exact Wednesday morning. On Saturday, the Sun changes signs from Libra to Scorpio, and Mercury ends its Station phase; Jupiter also ends its Station phase, on Sunday.

There will only be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday late morning (for 5 hours); and Friday late afternoon (for 11.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to make an announcement:

Last chance to sign up for this week’s Forum!  ==> We have our monthly Forecasting Forum coming up at the end of this work-week…please see the very bottom of this Weekly Forecast for more info!

If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 18th:

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 6:04am EDT.

Monday very early morning, at 1:30am EDTJupiter comes to a halt at 22º of Aquarius, and slowly starts to move direct again, after a 4-month Retrograde phase; Jupiter’s energy will be felt most strongly at this time.

We already talked about this, in great detail, in last week’s blog. If you are currently a Member, click here and scroll down to Sunday (Oct. 17th) to read the whole post about Jupiter coming to a halt, or look for your Daily Forecast email for Sunday, Oct. 17th.

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendant) in 20-24 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio will be more affected by this Jupiter station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

Monday at 6:04am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon, exact on Wednesday late morning.

Monday late morning, at 11:17am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in 10 degrees of Libra and slowly starts its direct motion, after its 3-week Retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its post-Shadow phase…more on that in a moment…

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective.

Ask yourself: What did I learn about my inner dialog, and the relationship between my inner feminine & masculine energies, over the past 3 weeks? How might I share my findings in a healthy way with others? What needs to be addressed with regards to one-on-one relationships, fairness, a balanced approach, or collaborations?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Oct. 23rd), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Feel free to also watch my chat with Lia about the Mercury Retrograde phase in Libra. We connected last week and chatted about how this has been impacting us, and about the value of a Retrograde phase…

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 8-12 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn.

Monday after 11:17am EDTMercury’s post-Shadow phase begins — lasting until Nov. 2nd…. as you may recall, I mentioned Mercury Shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde, and after it goes direct.

This is especially true if the items are connected to technology, transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.), or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) Click here to read my blog on the subject.

Monday late evening, a harmonious Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 10:36pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Thursday evening (Oct. 14th) on; and it will remain strong until next week, Saturday evening (Oct. 23rd). This aspect brings optimism, enthusiasm, and expansion to our personal goals, creative projects, and explorations.

It’s a good time for bold, decisive action, that leads very directly to success in our various projects — especially those with one-on-one collaborations, equal relationships, win-win situations, or that require a just or fair outcome.

Our positive attitude helps us to take risks that get us unstuck, and we have the vigor to blast through challenges; use this aspect to tackle anything that seemed impossible in the past 😉

Ask yourself: Where am I pining for a greater connection with others? What might be possible if I kept inspiring others? Or kept being the change I want to see in the world?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you will be …

Full Moon in Aries – the article

On Wednesday Oct. 20th, at 10:57am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 27.5 degrees of AriesThe Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries makes an opposition to the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra.

Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored. This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — for much of this month, we are invited to direct our attention toward deeper self-care and more authentic connections to our emotional bodies. If you are a site Member, you may also want to watch my video on the subject.

We also have three exalted planets in this Full Moon chart: Pluto, Jupiter & Mercury. All three of them ended their various Retrograde phases just recently, and are still moving quite slowly trying to get up to their “regular” speed — so we can feel their energies stronger than usual.

The Aries/Libra polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles.

In particular, it brings the focus to “independence”, so ask yourself: Where do I need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Less? Where have I been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited? Or perhaps simply accepted for what they are?

This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask: Where have these energies gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?

The higher vibrations of Aries include: courage and strength, openness towards the new, directness, assertiveness, and a healthy sense of identity.

The higher vibrations of Libra include: the ability to collaborate and connect on equal footing, and  achieve balanced or fair outcomes; our capacity for objectivity, dialogue and diplomacy, cooperation and composure.

Every Full Moon illuminates the shadow side of each sign as well. The “denser/lower” vibrations of Aries can be…

Do the Due Diligence

This week’s headline items: Pluto and Saturn remain exalted all week due to their stationing; the first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact very late on Tuesday evening; on Thursday, Jupiter’s Station in Aquarius intensifies and Mercury begins its Station phase in Libra. Mercury’s Station intensifies on Saturday night/Sunday very early morning. Jupiter comes to a halt, ending it’s 4-month Retrograde phase, on Sunday night.

There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday very early morning (for almost 13 hours); Wednesday morning (for almost 10 hours); Friday morning (for almost 14 hours), and Sunday evening (for 10.5 hours)

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

A Conversation about the Mercury Retrograde phase with the lovely Lia Pelusi (a certified Soul-Based Astrologer). We connected last week, chatted about Astrology in general, and got into details on the current Mercury Retrograde in Libra — how it has been impacting us, and where the value lies in a Retrograde phase.

==> Feel free to join us for this lovely conversation and introduction of Lia!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 11th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 1:15pm EDT. Until then, we’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, this means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Since Pluto and Saturn are still exalted all week, feel free to read more about those Station phases in this blog from Sept. 27th – Oct. 4th, and last week’s blog.

Monday very early morning, at 12:30am EDT, we enter a  Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 13 hours, until 1:15pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or simply do something that gets you excited about the future.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday very early morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.

Monday at 1:15pm EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is transiting through Aquarius making this a great time to take a look at our visions for humanity, and at anything we would like to accomplish long-term within our communities (locally or online).

It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your personal vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now, and with where you see yourself 5 years from now? What do you truly want to commit yourself to? This Moon placement starts the build up towards…

Creating Win-Win Outcomes

This week’s headline items: On Monday, Saturn starts to slow down (station), preparing to end its Retrograde phase — and Jupiter follows suit on Friday. The New Moon in Libra becomes exact on Wednesday morning, and Pluto comes to a halt that afternoon, ending its 5-month Retrograde phase. On Thursday morning, Venus changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius, and Saturn’s Station phase intensifies. The last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Sunday afternoon, and that evening, Saturn comes to a halt, ending its 4.5-month Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for 4 hours); Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for almost 9.5 hours); and Saturday very early morning (for almost 9.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Since Pluto and Saturn are ending their respective Retrograde phases this week, I wanted to mention that we discussed the Pluto & Saturn Station Direct phases in Capricorn and Aquarius, in our most recent webinar, and how all of this looks in relation to our own Birth charts.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 4th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. Until then, our focus is towards the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday early morning, we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail. We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day to day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable. (Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 5:19am EDT)

Monday late afternoon/early evening, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and imagination, reason and intuition/compassion. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service(Moon in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces, exact at 5:48pm EDT)

Monday evening, requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the urge to expand our perspective when it comes to our future visions — and on the other hand, to be precise and practical in our thinking and at work. The key here is to be of service and allow for experimentation so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy. (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Jupiter in Aquarius, exact at 8:10pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals. (Moon in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn, exact at 11:03pm EDT)

Also, on Monday, Saturn starts its station. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.

Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to “do” life, on life’s terms.

As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.

Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal “earth class” be in, right now? Where are you asked to look at your current “earth structures” and become more mature? Which long-term goal calls out for commitment? What will time do?

As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The Station-phase will last until Oct. 19th; and Saturn goes direct — after having been retrograde for 4.5-month — on Oct. 10th in almost 7 degrees of Aquarius.

We are getting ready to move forward on some important long-term goals, but we’ll need to be patient until Saturn goes direct on Oct. 10th. Until then, as best as you can, realistically evaluate what’s needed in order to build some healthy, long-lasting foundations for the next phase in your life.

New Moon in Libra – the article

On Oct. 6th at 7:05am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 13.5 degrees of Libra, beginning a new Moon cycle.

New Moons are introverted times, when we go within to learn what we wish to align ourselves with for the next 28 days; with this New Moon in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, this will likely be win-win situations, fair exchanges, and harmony (within our relationships and with our general environment). Check out my New Moon video to learn more about this.

Even though we have four planets in Libra at the time of this New Moon (the Sun, the Moon, Mars, and Mercury), harmony and balance is not something that is easily achieved with this lunation. In fact, we have plenty of challenging aspects in this New Moon chart that might keep us off-balance — to say nothing of the Pluto Station Direct phase that has been intensifying since Sept. 29th and that will come to a complete halt on Oct. 6th, only 7.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact — and of course, we also have Mercury still in its Retrograde phase in Libra until Oct. 18th.

More about all those details in a moment: first, let’s talk about the New Moon — and specifically, the Libra component of this New Moon chart…

All relationships begin with our relationship to ourselves — everything “out there” is a reflection of “in here”… Ideally speaking, interacting with another person is a co-creative, equal exchange — we must be centered within ourselves, yet also tuned into each other, all the while responding to the rhythm of life.

Here are some useful questions to ask yourself for this new Moon cycle: What does an “equal relationship” look like? Where is the balance point? What comes up for me when I hear the phrase “the art of relationship”?

As the seventh sign in the zodiac, Libra represents a major turning point, one that invites us to investigate ourselves through the lens of “the other” (by relating on a one-on-one level).

Anything we haven’t mastered from the six signs that precede Libra, we bring to all of our relationships, attracting people who mirror back to us our relationship with ourselves: Libra thus invites us to see all of our issues, resolve them, and become whole.

Ask yourself: What if harmony and peace were mine to create within me first?  The Libra energy encourages us to…

Here is a quote that fits really well with this New Moon:

“There’s been a coup underway for awhile now, a quiet coup happening under the radar, one that’s never reported by the media, one that is far more radical and world-changing than anything history has ever seen. This isn’t a coup that simply overthrows governmental systems or the people in power, but a coup that overturns our very perception of reality. This coup is the overthrow of an idea that led us down this path of suffering and brought us to the brink of ecological catastrophe, an idea that set the stage for every imaginable injustice: the idea of “separateness”… Despite how frightening our present circumstances appear, they are lending immense momentum to this quiet coup that is preparing the way for a new world to arise, a world that reflects the inviolable truth of Love.” — Patricia Pearce

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 11-16 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this Super New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best set soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase — so this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 7:05am on Oct. 6th, and 1:03am on Oct. 7th, or between 10:22am on Oct. 7th, and 7:05am, on Oct. 8th (New York-Time).

If you live outside the EDT timezone (i.e. US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter; I will be posting reminders to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

The Ability to Create Balance

This week’s headline items: Very early on Monday, Mercury begins its 3-week Retrograde phase; the last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Tuesday late evening; Pluto’s station intensifies from Wednesday on. Finally, on Saturday, Mercury ends its Station phase (although it remains retrograde), and the Balsamic Moon phase begins that evening.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for a little over 9 hours); Thursday late morning (for 10 hours); and Saturday evening (for almost 9 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

I was invited to be on the Self Love Show with Dawn Light and Trish Wright. I had a fantastic time. Check it out: How Astrology can help us love ourselves more, and how we can deepen that love.

“The birth chart is a marvelous thing. It shows us our life’s potential and how we operate in all areas of our lives. Understanding those energies can bring a greater sense of acceptance and love to ourselves. Self-love is a journey, and understanding our own birth chart is just the first step on that journey.”

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 27th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late morning.

Monday very early morning at 1:10amEDT, Mercury comes to a standstill at 25.5 degrees of Libra (starting its 3-week Retrograde phase), slowing things down tremendously until Wednesday morning (Sept. 29th). Give yourself extra time to go to work (during that time) or to get things done. If you are traveling, just simply go with the flow… you’ll get there… eventually 😉 The same is true when it comes to all our technological communication devices…

With Mercury being Retrograde, its energy feels stronger inside of us, helping us recognize what is out of alignment, and pointing to how we can start to realign ourselves with the outside world, starting from within. We can ask ourselves: What feels unjust or imbalanced in my life?

Because of its retrograde status, Mercury will spend 66 days in Libra, the sign most concerned with one-on-one relationships, partnerships, balance, harmony, justice, collaboration, and art. This provides extra opportunities to connect from a place of harmony, peace, diplomacy, with a view to creating win/win outcomes.

We already talked about this, in great detail, in last week’s blog. If you are currently a Member, click here and scroll down to Sunday (Sept. 26th) to read the whole post about this Mercury Retrograde phase, or look for your Daily Forecast email for Sunday, Sept. 26th.

Another thing to take into consideration: how does each Mercury Retrograde phase affect your personal birth chart. Do you have any personal planets that Mercury will align with during its retrograde journey? The houses of your chart each represent different areas of your life — which of the houses in your chart is affected by this retrograde?

As with any retrograde, some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. If you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in: 8-28 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn you will be more affected by this particular retrograde. This is also true for those of us who have a Gemini, or Virgo Sun- or Rising-sign (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo).

Monday late morning/early afternoon, we are asked to turn our attention towards the mismatch between our need for mental stimulation, and our desire to connect on a deep emotional level. Ask yourself: Am I after superficial exchanges? Or intense and authentic emotion?

Am I seeking out new information and keeping an open mind? Am I wanting to keep my mind busy with mental distractions — such as listening to the news or reading about other peoples’ opinions? Do I feel nudged toward emotionally deep transformative connections? What are my motivations when connecting and relating to others?

No matter what I engage in, could I drop any self-judgment? Could I even allow myself to dance with those mismatched energies? (Moon in Gemini quincunxes Venus in Scorpio, exact at 11:28am EDT)

Monday late afternoon, we are required to make some adjustments — and we may need to do a little stretching and growing, when it comes to our inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.(Moon in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces, exact at 4:11pm EDT)

Monday evening, we get a chance to connect with like-minded people, expand each other’s minds, and share information that allows us to see the bigger picture.(Moon in Gemini trines Jupiter in Aquarius, exact at 7:25pm EDT)

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 12:18am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 9 hours, until 9:34am EDT (Tuesday late morning). Use this intuitive time to connect with others one-on-one, and share information in a peaceful and fair fashion.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan…

Shake Things Up a Little

This week’s headline items: Pluto is still stationing all week; the Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Monday evening; Mercury’s station intensifies on Tuesday; on Wednesday afternoon, the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra, marking the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. Last but not least, late on Sunday night, Mercury comes to a halt as it begins its 3-week Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday evening (for almost 3.5 hours); Wednesday late evening (a little over 10.5 hours); and Saturday morning (almost 11.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 20th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 11:13pm EDT. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday early afternoon (Sept. 19th) on; and it will remain strong until Tuesday early afternoon (Sept. 21st). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We may feel uneasy or insecure in our relationships — and be faced with a choice — we must develop an inner awareness if we are to see what needs adjusting.

As you can imagine, this could make social interactions somewhat awkward; as best as you can, connect with kindness towards all (including yourself 🙂

We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible… and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-12 degrees of Scorpio or Aries,? Or perhaps your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect.

Monday evening, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:53pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Thursday evening (Sept. 16th) on; and due to Mercury’s Station-Retrograde phase, it will remain strong until Oct. 6th. During this aspect, we are more optimistic and realistic — which is good, since we see the bigger picture, communicate more positively and readily inspire others.

This harmonious connection strengthens our ability to connect and collaborate with others. We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease reconnecting with people from all walks of life. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, and countries.

This aspect also makes for quite a “heady” and idealistic experience — it’s all about thinking big and innovating. So, ask yourself: What are my expectations or attitudes towards the collective experience? What new vantage point might show me how to reinvent myself and my vision for “my people”?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-27 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini,? If so, you will feel most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

On Monday, at 7:55pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 28 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgothe entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Saturday late afternoon (Sept. 18th) started the energetic build up towards this Full Moon — if you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.

At the time of the Full Moon, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Sept. 6th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

This Full Moon has six planets in Retrograde motion: Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within. It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go.

Things appear to slow down during a retrograde passage, as internal shifts must happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.

Three of the six planets I mentioned above will start to go direct in October (Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto), and at that point, we will get the opportunity to bring all of our inner discoveries from the previous 4-5 months to the outside world.

For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, in connection with Saturn’s & Pluto’s Station Direct phases, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with two stationing planets — Mercury & Pluto — Mercury in Libra is preparing to start its 3-week Retrograde phase on Sept. 26/27th, and is therefore exalted at the time of the Full Moon; Pluto in Capricorn is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase on Oct. 6th, and will be exalted until Oct. 21st.

We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mercury in Libra), and are seeking empowerment when it comes to our long-term goals or social structures (Pluto in Capricorn).

Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, in contrast with Pisces‘ call to open our hearts and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind). In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).

Ask yourself: What if… To read the whole Full Moon article, and get all the Coaching questions, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, GeminiSagittarius, or 0 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you are more affected by this Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday at 7:55pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 3.5 hours, until 11:13pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between logic and intuition. As best as you can, discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives, without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.

Could you integrate a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart? What might you experience when your mind operates in partnership with your intuitive sensing?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time.

Monday at 11:13pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday morning.

If you find your foot tapping, try…

Full Moon in Pisces – the article

On Monday Sept. 20th, at 7:55pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 28 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — the entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 18th starts the energetic build up towards this Full Moon — if you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.

A Great Time to Transform Your Life

This week’s headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Monday late afternoon; Mars changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Tuesday evening. On Sunday, Mercury slows down (aka stations), preparing for its 3-week Retrograde phase, and Pluto begins its station as well, however, Pluto is preparing to end its 5-months Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for a brief 30 mins); Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for almost 10 hours); and Saturday early morning (for a little over 11 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 13th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

Monday early morning, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to mentally explore and go beyond what we already know — and on the other hand, the need for breakthroughs or change connected to the physical plane.

We need to ask ourselves here: What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable? Or 5% more comfortable embracing uncertainty? (Moon in Sagittarius quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 5:13am EDT)

Monday morning: we have an opportunity to explore our one-on-one relationships, perhaps have a conversation with someone that sparks excitement. (Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Mercury in Libra, exact at 10:31am EDT)

In the late afternoon, at 4:39pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 21º Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius on Sunday early morning. The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo.

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on Sept. 6th. If we began a project or initiative around then, it is probably off the ground by now — and facing its first obstacles. This is thus a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum.

We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday early evening, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself. (Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces, exact at 5:33pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or simply do something that…

Originality & Innovation

This week’s headline items: On Monday afternoon, Mercury enters its pre-shadow phase in Libra, and in the evening, the New Moon in Virgo becomes exact; Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Friday late afternoon; from Saturday late morning on, it’s time to start taking actions on our New Moon intentions; and on Sunday early morning, the Sun squares the degree of June 10th’s Solar Eclipse.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for almost 8 hours); Thursday night/Friday very early morning (for a little over 1 hour); and Sunday very early morning (for 3 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

As most of you already know from last week’s blog, Monday, Sept. 6th around 4pm EDT, Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase when it reaches 10º 08’ of Libra. This is 3 weeks prior to its Retrograde phase (which starts on Sept 27th).

Use these three weeks wisely! Prepare for Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase in Libra… last chance to watch: “Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase Sept. 2021 — to see how this relates to your own Birth Chart… and it is currently on SALE!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 6th:

Monday is a big day!!! The Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening.

Monday morning, a harmonious Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 8:20am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Wednesday evening (Sept. 1st) on; and it will remain strong until this Friday evening (Sept. 10th). This aspect brings a powerful ability to pursue and accomplish our objectives. We are able to see more clearly where we are heading and where we want to commit.

Our vitality and energy levels are at a high point. We are most likely feeling ambitious and dynamic right now. Our recuperative powers are excellent and our health is robust. We might feel inspired to build up our physical strength during this astrological influence, and this is a good idea — we can develop greater endurance and vitality now, which will rejuvenate our body.

This is definitely a strong energy for steady, practical, down-to-earth work on a project. It is also quite a sexy combination. As best as you can, leverage this powerful mixture of energies to go after the things you have been wanting for a while now… and as Pluto is involved, use it all to fulfill on your Soul’s purpose.

Anything that we feel deeply passionate about and that feels in complete alignment with our deepest core, is very likely part of our Soul’s journey. What moves you? What turns you on? Not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level? If you had all the resources that you needed, what might you choose to manifest?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars being the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Also on Monday morning, a harmonious Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:05am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Sept. 3rd) on; and it will remain strong until this Wednesday (Sept. 8th)This aspect brings a good dose of optimism, faith and a sense of the “bigger picture” to our relationships and finances.

We tend to relate to others in a positive (even inspiring) manner; as you can imagine, it is thus much easier to make social contacts. This could also be a lazy and self-indulgent time 🙂

Our outlook is cheerful and hopeful, the atmosphere cooperative. Integrity and loyalty are favored; it’s a great time for winning people’s trust.  We are more open and trusting with friends, partners and collaborators. We might feel an urge to connect to people from other countries or foreign cultures, just to have an adventure, or widen our horizons.

Ask yourself: What opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as well as “how”?

Financially, there might be a tendency to spend more than usual, as we feel confident that an abundance of resources is available to us.

There are indeed plenty of opportunities to be had, financial and otherwise, especially in connection with collaborative projects, community projects, political endeavors, or endeavors that require justice or a just cause 😉

The thing to watch out for is the feeling that we don’t have to actually do anything to “cash in”

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 22-28 degrees of  Libra, Aquarius or Gemini? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday evening, at 8:52pm EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 14.5 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We started to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo on Sunday evening (Sept. 5th). Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon has an abundance of planets in Earth & Air signs: the Moon, the Sun, and Mars in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus (all planets in Earth Signs) and then Mercury and Venus in Libra, Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, and the North Node in Gemini (Air Signs).

The element of Earth deals with the physical reality of things and usually requires a practical approach. The Air element deals with the mental level; usually we have the ability to look at what’s ideal and how we might create it through connection with others. This means that our focus will be on those things for the next four weeks — on both the individual and collective levels.

I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:

Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.

A great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: recognize, as best as you can, that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.

Ask yourself: How could I, as a Spirit-being, operate more efficiently in the physical world? Might tweaking my daily routines help me function better in the physical world? Might that also support me in being of service? What benefits might I reap if I could better discern between the essential and the redundant?

This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s New Moon, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 12-17 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 8:52pm Monday evening (Sept. 6th) and 3:24pm Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 7th); and then again from 11:20pm on Sept. 7th until 8:52pm on Wednesday, Sept. 8th (New York-time).

Monday late evening, a harmonious Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9:29pm EDT.  We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Sept. 3rd) on; and it will remain strong until this Thursday evening (Sept. 9th). This aspect connects us to a strong energy field — physical and metaphysical.

We feel alive, want to create a better future for ourselves and others on a very practical level, and are excited to do it. Watch out for messages from the Universe 🙂

Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people. We can celebrate (and leverage) our idealism and unorthodox approaches to life’s challenges. Ask yourself: What if I expressed what I uniquely valued without apologies? What if I did it with authenticity and enthusiasm?

How might sudden ideas spark activities that feel in alignment with my personal values? And, looking at things from a different angle: What might be possible on a practical level with a bigger network of like-minded people?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 11-18 degrees of  Virgo, Taurus, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel more blessed by this planetary connection than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Also on Monday late evening, a somewhat challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 11:50pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday late evening (Sept. 5th) on; and it will remain strong until Tuesday late evening. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make adjustments  — first though, we must develop an inner awareness of what exactly needs adjusting.

We come to realize that we might have become overly enthusiastic and optimistic. What’s more, our drive for a collective cause is actually leaving us feeling drained and frustrated, while at the same time, we harbor a strong desire to improve our daily health regimes and the data that supports those improved routines.

It will help us manage both these energies if we look more closely at how we use our own energy: simply put, are we in tune with our physical body? Are we making healthy decisions?

Ask yourself: Could I connect and collaborate with my communities and still find time to improve my own health or work routines?

Am I being too impulsive or impatient? Restless? What might it look like if I focused my energies towards being of Service?

It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal belief systems impact our communities and networks or vice versa. Can we stay open to new philosophies that are held collectively — and to what they offer us? And perhaps also toward our desire to further expand our visions for humanity?

Ignoring conflict will not serve us now, nor will being overly analytical or critical of ourselves or others; as best as you can, slow down and stay tuned in to your physical body.

Ask yourself: Is doing more, necessarily better? How might “doing too much” impact my well-being? Where might I be bringing an attitude that doesn’t serve my physical and mental well-being? (A good place to “aim” this question is toward the “collective bigger picture”)

Here’s another question you may find helpful: If I check against my direct experience, how do collective assumptions or “stories” impact my physical and mental well-being?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-26 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you will be…

The Balance between “Doing” & “Being”

This week’s headline items: very early on Monday morning, Mercury changes signs from Virgo to Libra and the last Quarter Moon in Gemini becomes exact; the Uranus station ends (in Taurus) on Thursday; and the Balsamic Moon phase begins early Friday.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late afternoon (for almost 9 hours); Friday very early morning (for almost 10.5 hours); and Sunday late morning (for almost 9 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Since we will enter Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase next week, Monday (Sept. 6th) — see Sunday’s entry for more details — I wanted to invite those of you who haven’t seen our latest Forecasting Forum yet, to watch it!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 30th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning.

Monday very early morning, at 1:10am EDT, Mercury changes signs from practical Virgo to harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Nov. 5th (much longer due to the Mercury Retrograde phase in late Sept). Mercury in Libra changes the way we communicate and think. We are more likely now to see things from multiple points of view and to think in abstractions, this helps us be objective.

We have a strong sense of justice and look for ways to make compromises. We speak and act diplomatically; this comes from our desire for harmony, peace, diplomacy, win/win outcomes. We feel better when we are not pressured into making quick decisions. Very probably, the two things we will most avoid at this time are confrontations and emotional intensity.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for justice and fairness. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Libra? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 9.5 weeks.

Monday early morning, at 3:13am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 7 degrees Gemini becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Gemini, on Sunday afternoon (Aug. 29th). The Moon in curious, chatty Gemini makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in practical, detail- and service-oriented Virgo.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing any projects begun around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Aug. 8th — rather than launching new ones.

As best as you can, find kind and creative solutions for whatever comes up, whether internally or with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer? If so, you will….

Bring the Gift of Compassion

This week’s headline items: On Monday morning, Mercury in Virgo squares the degree of the June 10th Solar Eclipse (and Mars in Virgo does likewise late on Sunday evening). The Sun in Virgo squares the Moon Nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius on Saturday night/Sunday very early morning.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for almost 10 hours), Thursday early evening (just over 7 hours), Sunday late morning (almost 2 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 23rd:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go until tomorrow afternoon.

Monday at 6am EDT, Mercury reaches 19º47′ of Virgo and squares the degree of June 10th’s Solar Eclipse. This represents a turning point in our thinking. As best as you can, observe how this plays out for you, and ask yourself: What needs an adjustment in my thinking or my inner dialog? What creative solutions might clear the way for me to appreciate the differences in opinions that I see or hear — with an open heart?

What intentions did you set at the time of the Solar Eclipse in June? What might you see if you kept both your eyes and your mind open? How might objectivity and flexibility support you at this time?

Monday morning, a harmonious Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:48am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Friday evening on; and it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. This signals a time when we don’t take connections with others lightly; we are more attracted to long-term commitment than to “casual”.

We feel a strong sense of responsibility to society and see ourselves generally as responsible and trustworthy. We have an increased sensitivity to the needs of others. Mutual respect and loyalty become especially important to us at this time; this can strengthen and refresh old friendships too.

We bring more maturity, respect, and integrity to our interactions — and this is a good time to approach like-minded people or those in our communities (locally and online) for their input. This doesn’t have to be “solemn”, so ask yourself: What if I connected to myself, then to others, for an exchange of information? Who might welcome a dialogue (or even a collaboration) that is open-minded, socially responsible, & sustainable? Where can I build mutual respect with others?

If a book or a song had a message about the process of maturing, what might that message be? What might a poem have to say on the subject? How could I personally encourage new approaches and priorities?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-12 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini? How about an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will feel…

Full Moon/Blue Moon in Aquarius — the article

On Aug. 22nd, at 8:02am EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact. This is the second of two Full Moons in the Aquarius-Leo polarity within a 30-day period — and if you’ve ever wondered what a Blue Moon is… that’s exactly what we have here! If you are already a Member of my online community, you can click here to watch my video about this Blue Moon 😉

Two consecutive Moons in the same sign is particularly interesting because of the degree in which they become exact — usually an exalted degree — and the current Full Moon becomes exact in 29.5 degrees of Aquarius. This is indeed an exalted degree, because it is the last degree of the sign, and therefore the last chance for any transiting celestial body to express itself before changing signs.

This would indicate a strong urge to complete something — most likely something that started with the first Full Moon in 1.5º of Aquarius on July 23rd — and therefore is connected to social interactions, a desire for progress in connection to our vision for humanity, or our future in general.

The last time we had two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign was in the Spring of 2019, in Libra-Aries — and the last one in Aquarius-Leo was on July 22 & Aug. 20th, 2013 — and the one before that was way back in 2002, on July 24 & Aug. 22nd of that year, to be exact.

Ask yourself: What was important to me in the summers of 2013 and 2002? What of that is asking to be completed over the next two weeks? Where am I looking to transition to the next level?

With any Full Moon, we see things previously hidden, and get a chance to make some changes if we don’t like what we see. Given this, ask yourself: What keeps happening since July 23rd in my social networks or interactions? What needs adjusting? What needs outright change?

Something else that makes this Full Moon chart deeply unusual — even unique, in my experience — is six retrograde planets (bear in mind that there are only 9 planets that can even go retrograde)! So which ones are they? Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — all are retrograde at the time of the Full Moon, which means that we have a chance to get more in tune with all of their energies.

Uranus, although retrograde after Aug. 19th, is still stationing/exalted until Sept. 2nd! (go to Aug. 5th – Weekly Forecasts for details, or watch the webinar: “Uranus in Taurus Exalted, August 2021”. I highly recommend this! Click here for more info or to purchase.).

When Retrograde, we access the energies of these 6 planets from…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).

August 16th – 22nd

What’s The Bigger Picture?

This week’s headline items: Venus changes sign from Virgo to Libra very early on Monday; Uranus comes to a halt late on Thursday, beginning its yearly 5-month Retrograde phase; the Full Moon in Aquarius (which is also a “Blue Moon”) becomes exact on Sunday morning; the Sun changes sign from Leo to Virgo on Sunday early evening.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late evening (for a little over 4 hours); Thursday evening (for almost 9 hours); and Sunday morning (for 40 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention two things:

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 16th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

Monday very early morning, at 12:27am EDT, Venus changes signs from detail-oriented, practical Virgo to harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Sept 10th. With this placement, we prefer to show kindness, even-handedness, and a willingness to make our relationships work.

We value our relationships at this time and we prefer entering into equal partnerships. Until Sept 10th, we can develop an idealized view of what a relationship “should” look like. We do our best to treat others fairly for the next three and a half weeks, seeking the middle ground. We are more likely to appreciate the arts, dance, beauty, entertainment and romance.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you will feel more connected to your inner harmony for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to others in an equal setting. If you are a Libra Sun- or Rising-sign you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.

Monday evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 7:35pm. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday (Aug 15th) on; and it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (Aug. 17th). This will contribute either to a lack of mental energy or a need to focus on our commitments with others. This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice.

The sheer scope of our goals in life can require more effort than is immediately obvious. Hard work can take its toll on our health. If we partition our big ideas into achievable segments — and go one clear action step at a time — we can move forward while maintaining inner peace and outer health. Use your time wisely! Develop the inner awareness needed, so you can see what needs adjusting.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-10 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn? If so, you will be…
