This week’s headline items: Eclipse Season is ongoing; a powerful Super Full Moon that forms the first of two Eclipses will be exact late Tuesday evening; there will be lots of planetary action on Saturday and Sunday; the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Sunday morning — marking the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere — and Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio later that day.
There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday very early morning (for 4.5 hours), Wednesday early morning (for 22 minutes), Friday early morning (for 24 minutes) and Sunday morning (for 10 minutes).
Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…
Our next Forecasting Forum is coming up this Wednesday, Sept. 18th, at 1pm EDT/6pm London — we will cover the upcoming Solar Eclipse in 10º of Libra.
Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 5:39am EDT. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement.
Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Again, we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Monday very early morning at 1:04am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 4.5 hours, until 5:39am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions.
You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need to connect with like-minded people and remain objective; on the other hand, a desire to make space for pursuing your financial vision — and breaking free from outdated value systems.
You may have to address what you value, both in others and in yourself (which informs self-worth); again, as best as you can, use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.
Monday early morning at 5:39am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual.
We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also an excellent time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”.
Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.
It’s also a great time to allow all that is, as it is, and go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.
Ask yourself: Is my “Higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?
Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and animals teach me about those realms?
Do I need more downtime? More resting time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?
Apropos Lunar Eclipse, just a gentle reminder: The Early Bird Specialfor this week’s Forecasting Forum ends TODAY at midnight EDT! We will be discussing the Eclipses, in relationship to your own birth chart.
Monday early evening,a Venus/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 5:29pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday morning(Sept. 14th) on; it will remain strong until Thursdayearlymorning (Sept.19th).
This opposition asks us to create a balance between the healing process of our masculine energies and our various one-on-one relationships.
We may feel insecure around others at this time; we must first heal our own deep fears of not being “good enough”, learn to love ourselves — and then see how we can meet our partners halfway.
As best as you can, bring the gift of compassion, understanding, and forgiveness to your own insecurities or feelings of unworthiness — then gift that to others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

All Full Moons are impressive sights, but this month’s will be especially noteworthy — it is a “Full Harvest SuperMoon“.
The entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 16th starts the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon — if you are a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject here.
This is the second of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.
SuperMoons are 15% brighter than an average Full Moon and 30% brighter than when the Moon is at its farthest distance from the Earth. For more on the astronomy of SuperMoons, click here
In addition to being a slightly larger-than-average “SuperMoon,” this Full Moon will also be a partial Lunar Eclipse.
Eclipse Season started on Sept. 2nd (at the time of the last New Moon) and lasts until Oct. 24th (past the next Super Full Moon).
So the questions here are: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?
During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and thought forms.
This means we may feel more easily triggered as buried emotions and fears surface. Please be aware of projections and jumping to conclusions.
Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind that Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.
This partial Lunar Eclipsewill bevisible from most of North America, all of South America, Europe, all but the easternmost parts of Africa, western portions of Asia and Russia, and parts of Antarctica
It lasts approximately 1 hour, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for the next four weeks.
There are two Eclipse Seasons per year. They give us the opportunity to upgrade our energy, emotional, and mental bodies, together with our physical experience.
On Sept. 17th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the last Eclipse Season that began in March 2024? What can we see now that was not apparent then?
All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in creative, free-flowing, sensitive Pisces, while the Sun is in detail-oriented, practical, analytical Virgo.
Eclipses are usually powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).
This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Pisces-Virgo polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Pisces/Virgo — from Jan. 11th, 2025 until July 26th, 2026.
This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, which emphasizes making more of an effort to trust our connection to the divine and our intuition, our ability to open our hearts and co-create with our higher Self.
This Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse also calls us to release or redefine our conditioned minds, judgments of ourselves and others, and anything disconnected from our hearts.
We are encouraged to become more aware of our biases, approach anything we do not know or understand with compassion, and bring acceptance and unconditional love to our interactions with others.
With a new Eclipse cycle, this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until February 2027.
Full Moons illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices. We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a North Node Eclipse, we need to…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 25 degrees of Pisces:
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

This week’s headline items: Uranus will remain exalted until Friday; Eclipse Season is ongoing; very early on Monday, Mercury will once again change signs from Leo to Virgo; the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact Tuesday night, and Mercury exits its post-Shadow phase Wednesday evening; Uranus will end its Station phase on Friday (although it will remain in retrograde).
There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 15 minutes), Wednesday evening (for a little over 2 hours), and Saturday very early morning (for 18 minutes).
Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder:
Our next Forecasting Forum is coming up next week, Wednesday, Sept. 18th, at 1pm EDT/6pm London — we will cover the upcoming Eclipse Season ==> Register for this month only here
Monday, the Moon remains inpassionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 1:26pm EDT. Emotional authenticity is essential to us now; we might perceive anything less than 100% emotional honesty as flat-out dishonest.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our power. It does so through subtraction, encouraging us to let go of whatever disempowers us. As such, it is an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Monday very early morning at 2:50am EDT, Mercury changes signs fromfun and attention-lovingLeo into detail-oriented, practical Virgo again. Mercury will journey through the sign of Virgountil Sept. 26th — and note that due to its earlier Retrograde phase (in August), the planet also passed through this sign between July 25th and August 14th.
Mercury in Virgo sharpens our thinking: We see clearly and are more inclined to direct our energy toward day-to-day, practical matters.
Creating order in our daily lives, knowing what’s coming next, organizing, planning on a short-term scale, and doing errands will become easier. This contrasts our ability to go with the flow, be present, and have faith that things will turn out well, no matter what: not so easy …
We may feel we do things better than others, denying them a chance to improve their skills or show us a different method.
As best as you can, be of service to others — and remember that perfection is lovely when we approach it as a progressive journey and a tyrant when we set it as a rigid goal. What if you aimed at continuous improvements rather than a frozen “perfect”?
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the need for organization and improvements more strongly.
Monday at 1:11pm EDT, we enter a brief 15-minute Moon VoC that runs until 1:26pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes.
As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past and instead deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world.
You can now become fully committed to a project or task that might serve you long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, don’t start anything brand-new. Stick to routine things, or go with the flow as far as possible. You may also want to plan ahead of time for Monday afternoon.
Monday at 1:26pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.
We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — and we’re also physically restless and must burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than issue or obey orders.
Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page. Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius— and it is currently transiting through Gemini, making this a great time to explore our thoughts and ability to process and share information.
As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your ability to listen, learn, teach, or write— and to get excited about sharing and staying connected with others.
Ask yourself: What road might lead to a closer connection to others? How might listening more closely or carefully be a part of that?
What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards my inner dialog? What do I think about? What don’t I think about?
Use this time to embrace your mind and its intellectual capacities and put them to good use, sharing, listening, keeping an open mind, and especially seeking connection — rather than building separation.
When you stay open-minded and flexible in life and with others, you create spaciousness and fluidity! What you think is true will be true for you. What you don’t think is true will be true, too.
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning).

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Sept. 2nd:
Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Wednesday early afternoon, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.
We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday late morning, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:46am EDT. Due to Mercury’s Station-Direct period, we started to feel this aspect build on Aug. 19th; it will remain strong until this Thursdayafternoon (Sept. 5th).
Due to Mercury’s retrograde phase, this aspect has become exact for the third time within the last 6.5 weeks; the first time was on July 18th, and the second was on Aug. 23rd.
Think back to those dates: What thoughts helped you to heal inner wounds? What roles did humility and open-heartedness play?
This aspect is a wonderful possibility for active healing concerning our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.
We can bring compassion, both for ourselves and for others, to communications that trigger us. We are able to allow for our “inner playful child” to come out in unique ways as we share ourselves — especially when it comes to our identity, personal goals, and passions.
Acceptance and understanding of our own and others’ “Human-ness ” come more easily now. Humor can be a helpful way to explore our own humanity…
We feel more confident to connect and communicate without seeing ourselves as weak or “less than”. We feel perfectly ok to be ourselves, and that may involve feeling insecure.
Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? Could I enjoy that I am human? That other people are human?
What if I talked about my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities? How might this support my healing process? Someone else’s?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)
Monday at 9:56pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 11 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We started to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo on Sunday night (Sept. 1st/2nd) ==> Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject.
With this New Moon, we also enter Eclipse season! This will last until Oct. 24th. Eclipses ask us to recalibrate on the physical, mental, and emotional levels, which gives us a chance to move to the next level of our evolution – on a personal and collective level.
This New Moon features numerous aspects involving the outer planets: four aspects with Pluto in Capricorn, three with Neptune in Pisces, and three with exalted Uranus in Taurus.
This signifies an invitation to collectively shift consciousness. We are urged to work with these powerful energies for the benefit of ourselves and those we encounter.
All three of those planets are currently also in their Retrograde motion, inviting us to focus on making inner shifts and realigning ourselves with what no longer serves us.
Uranus is the loudest of the three, urging us to redefine our connection to the physical world and our self-worth;Neptune is asking us to trust our inner guidance and connection to Source-energy; finally, Pluto is asking us to reclaim our power, and live with purpose and a passion for life.
The Sun and the Moon in Virgo are part of a T-Square with Saturn and Jupiter. These are “social planets”, linked to our social and economic contracts, agreements, and dynamics.
And then we come toMercury, the messenger, ruler of Virgo, also currently exalted. He is quite involved in this New Moon chart as well.
I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first, let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:
Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.
The highest vibration of Virgo is observation, discernment, and analysis from a neutral standpoint to determine what works and what doesn’t.
Ask yourself: Could I release judgment from my life (starting with self-judgment)? Could I instead take a deep breath and discern what works and what doesn’t? What might this look like if I stayed completely neutral?
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 9:56pm Monday late evening (Sept. 2nd) and 9:56pm on Wednesday late evening, Sept. 4th (New York time). The only exception will be a brief 6-minute period from 12:06 – 12:12pm onWednesday, Sept. 4th.

On Sept. 2nd at 9:56pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 11 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon enters Virgo on Sunday night (Sept. 1st/2nd).
With this New Moon, we also enter Eclipse season! This will last until Oct. 24th. We will have a Lunar Eclipse on Sept. 17th and a Solar Eclipse on Oct. 2nd.
Eclipses ask us to recalibrate on the physical, mental, and emotional levels, which gives us a chance to move to the next level of our evolution – on a personal and collective level.
Eclipse Season happens twice a year and it is usually an unpredictable time. Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical during Eclipse season!
Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and allow affection in from friends, family, or pets.
Anything brand-new (and I mean brand, brand-new) started during Eclipse season will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after the Full Moon that follows the last Eclipse.
If possible, defer any major brand-new projects until after October 24th, when this Eclipse season is over. If something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic, allow it to be.
If you would like to learn more about the upcoming Eclipses, and how they might be impacting you personally, please join us for our next Forecasting Forum on Sept. 18th at 1pm EDT.

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Aug. 26th:
Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Wednesday early morning.
Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…
The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged, we might as well curl up and play dead …
Monday at 5:26am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 3.5º of Gemini becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build when the Moon entered Gemini late on Sunday evening (Aug. 25th).
The Moon, in curious, chatty Gemini, makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in practical, detail- and service-oriented Virgo.
This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.
We are better served during the last Quarter Moon by reviewing any projects begun around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Aug. 4th — rather than launching new ones.
As best as you can, find kind and creative solutions for whatever comes up, whether internally or with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-6 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces? If so, you will strongly feel this month’s last Quarter Moon; the same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Chiron in Aries and Mercury in Virgo are both still exalted/stationing — we will feel their archetypical energies more strongly until Aug. 9th & 13th; Mercury will start its 3.5-week Retrograde phase less than 24 hours after the New Moon becomes exact.
We also have several planets in exalted degrees: Venus in Leo and Neptune in Pisces are both at 29º (the last degree of their signs), making a Quincunx-aspect to each other. Pluto will be at 0º of Aquarius, an exalted degree, and also in a Quincunx aspect to Venus.
Venus will also make a Square to Uranus in Taurus — so Venus, the archetype of love, self-worth, and relating, is sharply highlighted in this New Moon chart!
Regarding New Moon aspects, the New Moon in Leo sextiles Mars & Jupiter in Gemini, creating an opportunity for connection and sharing ourselves courageously and whole-heartedly.
More about all of that in a moment; first, let’s talk about the New Moon energies:
The New Moon in Leohighlights the power of our individual creativity; and makes our inner creative child and any physical children essential.
For the next 28 days, the New Moon in fun-loving, extroverted Leo has us looking for heartfelt experiences.
It’s important for us to express ourselves, learn about love, and in particular, learn how…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 10-15 degrees ofLeo, Aquarius, Taurus, orScorpio?Or do your Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoor Cancer? This New Moon may impact you more than others.
And last, but definitely not least: the New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; the best time for the intention-setting process is soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
This month’sbest and most potent timewould be between7:13am on August 4th and 11:16am on Aug. 5th. Then again, from 5:17pm on Aug. 5thuntil 7:13am on Aug. 6th. As always, all times are in EDT — the New York timezone.
If you live outside the EDT timezone and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest my Facebook page or following me on Twitter, or Instagram I will post reminders on all of those platforms on August 4th, 5th, and 6th to let you know the best time to set your intentions.

This is the first out of four SuperMoons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.
Oppositions always reflect back to the planets’ conjunction; we examine the progress made since that conjunction. For example, during a Full Moon, we look back to the previous New Moon (in this instance, Aug. 4th) to assess what has evolved since then
Before we start, let me share that I am thrilled to be part of a powerful 6-day Virtual Retreat called “AWAKEN: YOU. UNLEASHED.”, which takes place from August 19th – 24th. The best part is that it’s completely FREE to join.
Here are the astrological highlights of this Full Moon chart:
There are two T-squares in this Full Moon chart, and both rulers of the Full Moon (Uranus and Saturn) are involved!
One of the T-squares involves the Full Moon polarity (Aquarius-Leo) with Uranus in Taurus as the Focal Point
The other T-square involves Saturn in Pisces, Venus in Virgo, and the Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini as the Focal Point
The Moon in Aquarius not only opposes the Sun in Leo but also a Retrograde Mercury
The Moon also trines the Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini
The Sun in Leo trines Chiron in Aries
Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) is exalted at the time of the Full Moon – as it prepares for its yearly Retrograde phase that begins on Sept. 1st
An exalted Uranus in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces and trines Pluto in Aquarius
But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity: the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun & Mercury in fun-loving, expressive Leo.
This opposition highlights the power of our creativity as individuals and the exponential potency of collaboration. It invites us to reclaim ourselves and add our voice, heart, and hands to something meaningful.
Mercury started its 3.5-week Retrograde on Aug. 5th (soon after the last New Moon in Leo). So rather than sharing something new, we may want to revisit what we created or discussed from July 17th to 21st, when Mercury moved through its pre-Shadow phase in Leo.
The invitation with this opposition is to dare to be different and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth.
The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.
When we align our heads with our hearts, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity and create and connect from love instead of fear.
Given that Leo represents our self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question arises: How can we best balance these two energies? Or even integrate them?
We’ll seek answers to this question for the next two weeks, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.
All Full Moons have a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace
As always, with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees ofAquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).

This week’s headline items: the Full Moon in Aquarius becomes exact on Monday afternoon; Uranus starts to slow down (station) to prepare for its yearly Retrograde phase on Tuesday; the Sun changes signs from Leo to Virgo late Thursday morning — and later that day, Mercury starts to station again as it prepares to end its Retrograde phase; Uranus’ station intensifies on Sunday.
There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 4.5 hours), Wednesday early evening (for a little over 1 hour), Friday morning (for a little over 11 hours), and Sunday late evening (for 1.5 hours).
Before we get to this week’s Forecast, two gentle reminders…

Monday is a huge day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusuntil 6:52pm EDT. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement.
Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, innovative methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius.
Again, we have our eyes on the future — or outer space — and personal freedom becomes paramount.
Monday early morning, a Venus/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 4:30am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening(Aug. 16th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Aug. 21st).
This might be a time of relationship tests or trials: we may not be attracting the things and people that we want in our lives — at least, not as easily as we were before this transit.
This can be eye-opening — a signal to work on improving the “ways” (as well as the “things”) that we bring to partnerships or to our finances. Doubts could be raised now.
We may feel isolated and definitely more introverted. But what’s really required is that we slow things down and be as realistic as we can possibly be.
We could be withdrawing or holding back a little as we attempt to figure out what we want and need.
We are working towards ridding ourselves of self-delusion when it comes to partnerships, socializing, and finances. In the process, we might feel disdain for inauthentic interactions and resent “going through the motions” on a social and/or mental level.
Our goal here is to make more connections aligned with our own spiritual truth. Relationships built on weak foundations may not survive, but stronger ones can be improved and strengthened.
Financial matters might be stressful for the time being; this forces us into a position of conservation and moderation. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this — and on an external level with others.
Ask yourself: What is asking to be improved? Where do I need to focus? How might being present and patient support me and others? If doubts arise, could I refrain from overthinking things and stay connected to my intuition and heart energies?
Think back to March 22nd of this year, when Venus was conjunct Saturn in Pisces. With Venus opposing Saturn now, we can start to see the fruits of the seeds that were planted back then. So, What were the seeds then? What are the fruits now?
In other words, What has emerged since March regarding who and what you value? We are also now more aware of what we have (and haven’t) learned since then… Do you like what you see? Is there room for more learning and integration? Did the commitments you made then feel both attainable and practical?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-21 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Monday earlyafternoon, a challenging Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 12:45pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday morning(Aug. 16th) on; it will remain strong until Thursday (Aug. 21st).
Routines and plans — especially those connected with creative endeavors, children, romance, parties, or sporting events — are quite likely to experience disruption, calling for flexibility and creative solutions.
During this transit, we feel a great need to make progress, as we feel quite restless — maybe even anxious — but if we’re unclear on what is in our best interest, we might focus on things that don’t serve us in the long run.
As best as you can, go with the flow and stay open to experiencing something new and wonderfully unexpected; if you can, put off making major decisions for the time being… “haste makes waste” during this aspect.
You can think of this as “reorganizing” time — like rearranging your furniture — try not to resist the reorganization. Enjoy the ride… and remember: it only feels uncomfortable because it’s new and different. Could you allow yourself to be comfortable with being uncomfortable?
Ask yourself: What might a reorganization of my finances or talents look like? Could I allow myself to hang out with the discomfort that might come up as things shift and progress? Could I be open to experiencing something new and wonderfully unexpected?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Oppositions always reflect back to the planets’ conjunction; we examine the progress made since that conjunction. For example, during a Full Moon, we look back to the previous New Moon (in this instance, Aug. 4th) to assess what has evolved since then.
Here are the astrological highlights of this Full Moon chart:

And so much more… But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity: the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun & Mercury in fun-loving, expressive Leo.

We’ll seek answers to this question for the next two weeks, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.
All Full Moons have a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace
As always, with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of getting triggered and jumping to conclusions; we need to take time to respond rather than react.
Leo’s shadow can show up as self-centeredness or narcissism — picture a child that cannot see beyond itself, is not aware of other people in the room, and cannot look past the current moment to the consequences down the line.
Let’s look at Aquarius’s shadow side: this can show up when we get overly attached to the mind and its functions, especially idealized visions, rigid thinking about the future, etc. “Headiness” kicks in, and the mind’s activity reaches an all-time high.
The shadow side of Aquarius may hold lofty ideals but leave us clueless as to how to “be the change we wish to see in the world” — instead, we want others to be that change.
It’s essential to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others, so as best as you can, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions?
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees ofAquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).
At the same time the Full Moon becomes exact at 2:26pm EDT, we also enter a 4.5-hour Moon VoC that lasts until 6:52pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make clear choices when it comes to engaging with like-minded people.
Do your best to find a balance between your need for a cause that changes the future for some (or many) versus being aware of your own heartfelt, joyful self-expression and courageousness.
As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon until the evening ahead of time.
Monday early evening, a long-term, challenging Jupiter/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 5:46pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Aug. 6thon; it will remain strong until Sept. 3rd.
Any Square invites us to surpass our previous limitations; Jupiter and Saturn, as social planets, are usually linked to our social and economic contracts, agreements, and dynamics.
With Jupiter in Gemini, we have a tendency to think big and maybe feel a bit scatterbrained or at least have a restless mind. We see lots of opportunities and want to move on them fast. Patience is probably not at the top of our list. However, optimism is quite strong.
With Saturn in Pisces, we are invited to move toward spiritual self-sovereignty by going within and practicing spiritual maturity.
We are asked to reassess our interconnectivity with all of life, our use of spiritual practices, and our ability to be present in the here and now — or lack thereof.
Saturn will be in a Square to Jupiterthree times over the next ten months. This first one, being part of a T-Square and on the same day as the Full Moon, might kick up some dust or frustration.
This Square might ask us to transcend our self-imposed limitations or urge us to stay more connected to our inner guidance, not allowing the mind to take over to the extent that we are no longer centered in our own spiritual core or able to be present and experience peace.
Impatience and unrealistic expectations might lie behind our frustrations.
And, of course, when it comes to Saturn, we are always invited to slow things down enough so we don’t misstep or go overboard.
Some restructuring of our lives and business goals might be in order. We may be looking for new challenges — sometimes because we are forced to look, as things are not going exactly to plan.
We have a desire to grow and expand, but this attitude is tempered with caution and a sense of restriction. Take steps to grow, but don’t overextend, or you’re bound to grow frustrated.
This aspect also reveals where our beliefs may be out of sync with reality. What was true before may not be now — and perhaps never was — and conversely, the impossible may now be feasible.
As best as you can, take a look at what’s holding you back: Are there “old” fears or beliefs that are no longer keeping you on your intended course? Imagine for a moment that you wake up tomorrow morning, and fear has mysteriously vanished… What would be possible?
Every Square and Opposition prompts us to look back to the beginning of the cycle between the two planets involved. The most recent alignment of Jupiter and Saturn was in December 2020, at 0º of Aquarius.
Think back to that time and ask yourself: What commitments did I make? Where was my focus? What seeds were planted in late 2021 or early 2022? What shift am I now asked to navigate?
Where do I need to change my mind about my approach? To what degree do I engage my head — and to what degree do I engage my heart? Am I ready to listen more carefully? Could I go beyond my conditioned mind?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-21 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect; this is also true for those of us with the Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Capricorn (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Monday evening at 6:52pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. This Moon placement often finds us more than usually sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative.
Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign. This is making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.
It’s also a great time to allow all there is as it is and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible.

This week’s headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Scorpio becomes exact late on Monday morning; Mercury’s Station phase finally ends on Tuesday (though it is still in retrograde); Mercury re-enters Leo on Wednesday evening and aligns with the Sun in Leo late Sunday evening. Lastly, Saturday evening starts the build up towards the Full Moon in Aquarius.
There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday early morning, Thursday early afternoon, and Saturday late afternoon, all of them roughly an hour long.

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Aug. 12th:
Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpioall day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning. Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest.
Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. It does so through subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us.
This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Monday late morning, the first Quarter Moon in Scorpio becomes exact at 11:19am EDT. The Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing, intensely-feeling, private Scorpio makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in fun-loving, extroverted, attention-seeking, proud Leo. We feel compelled to take action.
Last week on Aug. 4th, the New Moon in Leo was exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world.
This is, therefore, a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Scorpio, Leo, Taurus, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Monday late afternoon/early evening, we are invited to make some inner adjustments: we feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice — a choice that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges. On the one hand, we have the urge to go deeper and connect with others; on the other hand, we are more aware of triggers and limitations connected to old childhood wounds.
As best as you can, be compassionate and understanding with yourself when feelings of anger come up (and even if shame follows expressions of that anger). This week’s headline items: Mercury remains exalted all week and starts its 3-week Retrograde phase very early Monday. We still have some windows for writing down our New Moon intentions: Monday morning, Monday evening, and Tuesday early morning. Finally, Chiron ends its Station phase on Friday, now in retrograde.
There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late morning (for 6 hours), Thursday early morning (51 minutes), and Friday early evening (almost 25 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, August 5th:
Monday is quite the day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 5:17pm EDT.We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness…
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them and how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic as best you can.
This Moon placement is also connected to this month’s New Moon (which was exact on Sunday morning, Aug. 4th). Feel free to watch my video on the subject here (if you haven’t seen it yet).
Monday very early morning at 12:56am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt at 4º of Virgo to start its second full Retrograde phase of the year, slowing things down tremendously until Aug. 8th!
With Mercury being Retrograde, its energy feels stronger inside of us, helping us recognize what is out of alignment and pointing to how we can begin realigning ourselves with the outside world, starting from within.
We can ask ourselves: Where do I need to take care of my work routines? Where does that path seem to be heading? How is my health and well-being? How does all this relate to my daily routines? What needs to be reorganized? Reconsidered?
Monday before 11:16am and after 5:17pm EDT is still the best and most potent time to set your New Moon Intentions! If you’d like some input on how to do that, check out this article — and to (re-) watch my New Moon video, click here
Monday morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:18am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday morning(Aug. 4th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesdayearly morning (Aug. 6th).
We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
Fear of disappointment and of others is causing some tension. Our inner need for growth requires us to be honest about what is causing our fears — most likely our lack of good boundaries and self-esteem.
We might easily get pulled into overly burdensome roles in other people’s lives because we feel it is required.
Careful examination of our health, well-being, and general daily health and work routines is necessary if we are to free our ability to love, develop, and grow. This deep examination could potentially lead to deep inner healing.
That said, we need to acknowledge that this aspect has an air of intensity, and we get the sense that something very powerful is happening in our daily routines.
Quincunxes can affect our health or well-being, so take extra care of yourself during those two days.
If you are experiencing a power struggle, feeling out of control, or are simply uncomfortable with the intensity, ask yourself: Could I trust that higher power and my ability to discern what’s healthy for me will see me through this?
What if my future called for inclusivity and diversity rather than separation or perfectionism? What might “trusting the path to my future” look like?
As best as you can, evaluate any relationships or financial dealings before getting involved; our intense energy and humanitarian spirit could feed other people’s unrealistic expectations, leaving us feeling unwell and separate.
Empower yourself and others by focusing on “best for most” rather than striving for “perfect”.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-1 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius or 29 degrees of Leo or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Monday at 11:16am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 6 hours until 5:17pm EDT. We may feel pulled in two quite different directions during this intuitive time…
On the one hand, we experience a need to connect with our inner child energy (creative self-expressions and joy); on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); do your best to use this intuitive time to make adjustments, slow things down a little, and find creative solutions that honor both drives.
As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning until the early evening ahead of time.
Monday at 5:17pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Thursday early morning (Aug. 8th), turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.
