Being “Courageously Yourself” With All Your Sensitivities & Insecurities

This week’s headline items: Pluto starts to slow down (station) again on Monday; from Wednesday on, it’s time to act on our New Moon intentions; Mercury’s station comes to an end on Thursday; on Friday, the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact, and Jupiter’s station ends; the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra very early on Saturday morning — which also represents the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: until 12:58am EDT on Monday very early morning, Wednesday morning (for almost 4 hours), Friday afternoon (for 48 minutes), and Sunday late afternoon (for almost 3.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 18th:

Monday at 12:58am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs through subtraction — it encourages us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas. ==> For more about this powerful Moon placement, see last night’s section (Sunday, Sept. 17th.)

On Monday, Pluto (the modern ruler of Scorpio) starts to slow down (i.e. station) again in Capricorn, preparing to come to a halt on Oct. 10th after its 5-month Retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted for the next 6 weeks, until Oct. 31st.

When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 31st).

Pluto is associated with our Soul Purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within through the experience of wholeness — and to our deepest passions.

It is also associated with transformation, for example, our ability to transform darkness into light or “death” into “rebirth”. Those terms don’t necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new — something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.

When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity — and feel a newness and empowerment from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 6 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul’s purpose (your deep authentic Self).

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on out of fear? What habits, behaviors, or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel?

When we confront our fears, we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths; use this time to see what’s in the way of creating deeper, more empowering emotional connections to your long-term goals, especially if you are feeling a disconnect with the current ones.

Ask yourself: What would I like to build out there in the world and leave behind as a legacy? Am I ready to make choices that are not based on “shoulds”? What would that look like? What feels emotionally authentic and empowering to me? To others? To society? What is realistic?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Libra, or 0 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio).

Monday early morning, we are likely to experience a sense of ease and flow, but may need to adopt a mature approach when dealing with our feelings — although a gentle approach might still be the best. We feel focused and can be very persistent in spiritual or creative endeavors.

We are invited to look at the long-term impact of how we connect to life and its flow and need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can serve us in the long run — rushing things will most likely backfire right now. Connecting from an intuitive pace, trusting the process, and going with the flow are all crucial here! (the Moon in Scorpio trines Saturn in Pisces, exact at 5:19am EDT)

Monday early evening, we have an opportunity to connect with others on an authentic level. This also provides an opportunity to think about the details that go into our daily routines and develop clarity around them. Finally, it’s also an opportune time to talk about things that could improve our well-being — this could include health issues or concerns or simply looking at our nutrition and what empowers us on a physical and emotional level.

What might become possible if you let yourself trust others 5% more? What if you used that atmosphere of trust to share practical advice? Or discussed your physical and emotional health and well-being? (the Moon in Scorpio sextiles Mercury in Virgo, exact at 5:52pm EDT)

September 11th – 17th

Originality & Innovation

This week’s headline items: Jupiter & Mercury remain exalted all week; Mercury’s Station intensifies on Tuesday; Uranus ends its Station phase on Wednesday (although it stays retrograde); the New Moon in Virgo becomes exact late on Thursday evening; on Friday afternoon, Mercury comes to a halt in Virgo (ending its 3-week Retrograde), starting its post-Shadow phase; finally, Venus ends her Station phase on Saturday (getting back to her regular speed while moving direct).

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for a little over 14 hours), Friday late morning (for almost 4 hours), and Sunday late evening (for almost 4 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 11th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness …

Monday afternoon, we are invited to connect with others (and with yourself) on an authentic, playful level. Could you permit yourself to get in touch with your inner child — and enjoy the creative flow within? (the Moon conjuncts Venus in Leo, exact at 3:32pm EDT)

Monday evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 6:40pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday evening (Sept. 10th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (Sept. 12th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward, and must make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us “hiding out”, which leaves us feeling strangely guilty, which leads to us saying weird things — and we end up thinking, “did I really just do that?”

As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).

Also, on Monday evening, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

Make space either for your inner child, for creative self-expression & fun, or for exploring your values and expanding your perspectives around financial issues or the physical enjoyment of life. (the Moon in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus, exact at 7:54pm EDT)

New Moon in Virgo — the article

On Sept. 14th at 9:40pm EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 22 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo on Sept. 13th. Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon has an abundance of planets in Earth signs: the Moon, the Sun, and Mercury in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter, and Uranus in Taurus (all planets in Earth Signs).

The element of Earth deals with the physical reality of things and usually requires a practical approach. This means that our focus will be on those things for the next four weeks — on both the individual and collective levels.

We still have seven planets out of 9 in Retrograde motion when the New Moon becomes exact. With this many planets moving backward, we might feel things are not moving forward. If we experience this, we might want to look at what is holding us back — old fears and limiting beliefs stemming from unresolved trauma, childhood programming, and social conditioning.

We can see and take our next steps as we heal old wounds, break old patterns, and realize new perspectives.

I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first, let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:

Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.

This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin new projects that demand attention to detail, list-making, and taking pride in “small” accomplishments.

We might start a new health regimen, perhaps by paying close attention to our diet; we could also set up specific routines that help us manage our lives constructively and mindfully.

This cycle is about handling the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion so we can free our minds of clutter. Where could you use more open space?

Things to watch out for: sweating the details, worrying, and being extra-critical of ourselves and others when something doesn’t get done “right”.

Another great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 20-24 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 9:40pm Thursday evening (Sept. 14th) and 9:49am Friday late morning (Sept. 15th); and then again from 1:44pm on Sept. 15th until 9:40pm on Saturday, Sept. 16th (New York-time).

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (that’s the US East Coast time zone), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on “X” (the app formerly known as Twitter). I will be posting reminders on Sept. 14th in the evening, and on Sept. 15th & 16th throughout the day to let you know when it is time to set your intentions.

Again, Pluto is still in its Retrograde motion until Oct. 10th. It will start to slow down and be more exalted from Sept. 18th on.

Feel free to join us for our next webinar: “Pluto’s Station in Capricorn & Eclipse season” for more insight on what’s coming up over the next month and how it relates to your own birth chart!

September 4th – 10th

An Inner Understanding Of How The World Works

This week’s headline items: Venus, Uranus & Jupiter are exalted (stationing) all week; Jupiter starts its 4-month Retrograde when it comes to a halt in Taurus late on Monday morning; the last Quarter Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Wednesday evening; Retrograde Mercury in Virgo starts to station again on Saturday; the Balsamic Moon phase begins late Sunday afternoon.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday early afternoon (for a little over 3 hours), Thursday evening (for a little over 6.5 hours), and Sunday morning (for almost 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know that…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 4th:

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing until Tuesday afternoon? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.

Monday early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:29am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday early morning (Sept. 1st) on; it will be strong until Thursday morning (Sept. 7th). Due to Mercury’s Retrograde phase, we are experiencing this aspect for the second time within the last four weeks.

Think back to August 6-13th: What down-to-earth conversation(s) most helped you organize yourself and maybe got you exploring practical mental and physical health applications? What are you ready to experiment with?

During this time, we are more optimistic. We see the bigger picture, communicate more positively, and readily inspire others.

We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease reconnecting with people from all walks of life. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, spiritual practices, and other countries.

Ask yourself: What could I learn about my daily work or health routines or my values and talents that would expand my horizons? What might support a more abundant approach to my daily life?

Optimism plays a big role here as well. Ask yourself: What could I take care of at this time that is in service to my physical & mental well-being and my bank account?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-19 degrees of Virgo, Taurus, or Capricorn? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday at 10:10am EDT, Jupiter comes to a halt at 15.5 degrees of Taurus, starting its yearly 4-month Retrograde phase. Retrograde phases are inner processes — they help us connect to a particular energy internally and thus express it externally (once Jupiter goes direct again).

Jupiter retrograde brings a chance to tap into our inner wisdom, optimism, sense of possibility, and inner understanding of how the world works. This Retrograde phase lasts until Dec. 30th (and Jupiter will retrograde to 5.5º Taurus).

During this time, we get to choose what we truly believe — which beliefs serve us and which don’t — and we can more easily let go of limiting beliefs and experience new truths. While retrograde in Taurus, use these coaching questions:

What is in the way of my feeling abundant? What do I believe about my capacity to make money? What prevents me from slowing down and enjoying the physical experience of life? Or of seeing my body as an asset and something that holds wisdom?

What beliefs or social/cultural conditioning keep me from seeing myself as valuable? Where am I making assumptions that do not serve me? What do I observe about my expectations? Are they rigid or old-fashioned in any way? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards my body and my finances?

The connection to inner wisdom is definitely heightened during the retrograde phase, so ask yourself: What do I “just know”? If the answer is “I don’t know”, ask yourself: “What if I did know? What might it be in that case?”

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 4-17 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may be more affected by this Retrograde phase. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so Sagittarius will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

August 28th – Sept. 3rd

What Is Truly Important To You?

This week’s headline items: Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus are exalted (staining) all week; Uranus comes to a halt in Taurus to start its yearly Retrograde phase on Monday late evening; Venus’ Station phase intensifies on Tuesday; Mercury’s station ends on Tuesday (but the planet remains retrograde); the Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact late on Wednesday evening; Jupiter’s Station phase intensifies on Thursday; Venus comes to a halt in Leo late on Sunday evening, ending her 6-week Retrograde and beginning her post-Shadow phase.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday morning (for a little over 2.5 hours), Tuesday late evening (for almost 11 hours), Friday morning (for almost 3 hours), and Sunday morning (for 3 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a last reminder…

We are getting ready to re-evaluate old beliefs and perspectives or attitudes, as well as our cultural conditioning. Jupiter’s Retrograde phase begins on Sept. 4th (until Dec. 30th), and this will focus on our finances and ability to create abundance and see ourselves as worthy.

On Friday this week, you will get a chance to take a look at your own birth chart to see how this might impact you personally. You can also ask a question in connection with this planetary movement in advance. Once registered, you can email me between now and Sept. 1st at 3pm EDT! I will answer questions in the order they were received.

==> Star Members are automatically registered, everyone else, please register here! Early Bird Pricing is still available until Wednesday, Aug. 30th at midnight EDT!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 28th:

Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn until 10:32am EDT. We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Monday at 7:49am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 2.5 hours until 10:32am EDT. Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term successes. You might get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks, and don’t forget to practice a little self-care.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday at 10:32am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, innovative methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and this planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to look at our physical connection to our own body, finances, and whatever is most important to us on this planet.

It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us or keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.

Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?

Where have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?

Monday at 10:39pm EDT, Uranus comes to a halt at 23 degrees of Taurus, starting its yearly 5-month Retrograde phase until January 27th, 2024. During the Uranus Retrograde phase, we are invited to access the Uranus energy from within.

Our intuitions will be very strong during this time, and we have access to sudden insights and ideas. This aspect gives us the opportunity to take a look to see how free we actually feel.

As best as you can, take a look at whatever inside has been blocking your sense of freedom: Are you expressing your individuality to the fullest? Are you connecting to a larger vision?

Remember, doing the inner work is just as important as making progress in the outer world — the “Inner Universe” informs the outer — one cannot happen without the other

We have five months to take a look inside at whatever has been thwarting our progress. Ask yourself: Where are inner roadblocks popping up? Could I give myself some introspective time to receive some practical insights and ideas to help me go around those roadblocks and journey into the next phase of my life?

Some of us will feel the effects of the Retrograde phase more than others. This is particularly true if you have personal planets in 17-25 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, or Leo — and if you have Aquarius as your Sun- or Rising-Sign. For you in particular, this is a great time to reevaluate future visions — and perhaps to reexamine any group causes that you want to be a part of.

Super Full Moon in Pisces – the article

On August 30th, at 9:36pm EDTthe Sun opposes the Moon in 7.5 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — the entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Wednesday morning (Aug. 30th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

If you are currently a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject, here.

This is the third of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects. It is also the second Full Moon in the same calendar month (in this case, August) and thus an example of the famous “Blue Moon“!

On Aug. 30th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Aug. 16th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

This Full Moon has seven planets in Retrograde motion: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within.

It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go. It also reminds us that internal shifts are required before changing our life or the world.

Often, things appear to slow down during a retrograde passage because internal shifts have to happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, though, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.

Of those seven retrograde planets, Mercury & Venus will start to go direct in September (September 3rd & 15th); we will then get the opportunity to bring our inner discoveries to the outside world.

With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with an exalted Venus, Jupiter & Uranus — they are exalted because they are reducing their speed in preparation to change directions.

Venus in Leo comes to a halt on Sept. 3rd, ending her Retrograde phase that started on July 22nd.

To discover your own authentic Venus, feel free to get my webinar: “Venus Retrograde in Leo: Embracing & Expressing Your Venus Energy for Love & Abundance”. Available for the Special Price of only $15 until Sept. 1st! (Valued at $98.00).

Jupiter in Taurus comes to a halt on Sept. 4th, starting its yearly 4-month Retrograde phase that will last until Dec. 30th.

Here, we are getting ready to re-evaluate old beliefs and perspectives or attitudes, as well as our cultural conditioning (Jupiter Retrograde in Taurus); between Sept. 4th and Dec. 30th, this will focus on our finances, our ability to create abundance and see ourselves as worthy.

For a more in-depth interpretation of how this applies to your own birth chart, join us live for the Forum on Friday, Sept. 1stor get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered). Early Bird Pricing is still available until Aug. 30th at midnight EDT!

Uranus in Taurus comes to a halt only two days before the Full Moon becomes exact, on Aug. 28th!, starting its yearly 5-month Retrograde phase that will last until January 27th, 2024.

Since Uranus represents things like breaking away from traditional structures, moving towards a new future that serves others and ourselves, inner and outer freedoms, etc. — these themes will be in our awareness, for better or worse.

Ask yourself: If I’m being completely honest, how free do I feel with my body, finances, and talents? Am I honoring my individuality? My differences? Am I connecting to a larger vision for the future? Is anything holding me back?

Now let’s address this Full Moon’s polarities

August 21st – 27th

Greater Endurance & Vitality

This week’s headline items: Mercury, Uranus, and Jupiter are all exalted (stationing) this week; Uranus’ station intensifies on Tuesday; the Sun changes signs from Leo to Virgo early Wednesday; Mercury comes to a halt to start its 3-week Retrograde phase on Wednesday afternoon; the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Thursday morning; Venus starts to station (slow down) again on Friday; Mars changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Sunday late morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for almost 3 hours), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for 3 hours), and Saturday morning (for a little over 1 hour).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 21st:

Monday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 7:22pm EDT. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time as we seek the approval of others.

Monday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 2:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday morning on, it will remain strong until Tuesday late evening. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward, and must make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness so that we can make adjustments.

This might concern compromising with others. Our fear of being manipulated might make us stubborn, or it might make us manipulative ourselves. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative/the higher road, adjusting as needed.

We might be forced to focus, time and again, on details we would prefer to ignore. When life slows down or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways we can’t comprehend. Stay as open and observant as you can.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-28 degrees of Leo or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo, and Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

As mentioned on Sunday already, the Sun in Leo is also the Focal Point of a YOD-aspect (aka “the Finger of God”). The Yod aspect consists of two Quincunxes, in this case, connecting the Sun with Neptune in Pisces (as mentioned on Sunday, Aug. 20th) on one side and Pluto in Capricorn on the other (as mentioned above). This aspect is at its strongest Sunday (Aug. 20th) and today (Aug. 21st).

Quincunxes are aspects that signal inner discomfort and the need for some adjustments. Both Quincunxes point towards the Sun in Leo again, making the Sun the Focus of this aspect.

This means the adjustments in question must be made so we can be ourselves authentically, from the heart, even if it feels uncomfortable.

Ask yourself: What do I need to express that is dear to my heart — even when fear is present? Even when it feels uncomfortable to do so?

How can I be “courageously me” without dominating others? Could I permit myself to get in touch with my inner child — and joyfully be myself when appropriate?

Could I refrain from getting attached to things going “my way”? What if “pride” was able to take a back seat? What if I focused on gratitude, giving compliments, connecting to my inner joy, and being playful instead?

Monday before 4:31pm and after 7:22pm EDT, it is time to start taking action on our New Moon Intentions; if you set Intentions last week Wednesday evening, Thursday, or Friday early morning — after the New Moon became exact — today (Monday) will be the best time to take relevant actions.

If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Feel free to watch my “New Moon in Leo” video one more time, or for the first time if you haven’t seen it yet… to see what actions might align with the current New Moon energies.

Monday at 4:31pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 3 hours until 7:22pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and collaborate in a completely authentic and self-expressed way. It’s time to create some joyful connections: What collaborations are calling out to you at this time? How might they bring you joy?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late afternoon until the evening ahead of time.

Monday at 7:22pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Thursday early morning.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, and “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies…

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.

Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio — and it is currently transiting through Capricorn, making this a great time to transform our relationship to authority (inner and outer). It’s also an optimal time to dig deeper into any unfinished processes in connection with our Soul Purpose.

We are invited to transform what doesn’t feel emotionally authentic and make deeper alliances with people, places, or things that bring us closer to an empowered experience — one where we can feel passionate about what we are building out there in the world.

Ask yourself: What has been my biggest “SHOULD” since Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008? Am I ready to make choices that are not based on “shoulds”? What would that look like?

What would I like to build out there in the world and leave behind as a legacy? What feels emotionally authentic and empowering to me? To others? To society? What is realistic? What will time do?

Use this time to create deeper, more empowering emotional connections to your long-term goals, especially if you are feeling a disconnect with the current ones. Remember: Love expands us, others, and life. Fear paralyzes!

Raise Your Frequency

This week’s headline items: Uranus is still stationing (and exalted) all week; Mercury starts to slow down (station) on Tuesday, and the station intensifies from Saturday on; the New Moon in Leo becomes exact on Wednesday morning; Jupiter starts to slow down (station) on Thursday; and last but not least, the Sun in Leo is the Focal Point of a YOD-aspect on Sunday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday very early morning (for almost 3 hours), Wednesday early morning (for 13.5 hours), and Saturday early morning (for 3 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 14th:

Monday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 6:36am EDT. At 3:46am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 3 hours, until 6:36am EDT. If you are awake at this intuitive time, use it to remain open and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.

Monday at 6:36am EDT, the Moon enters fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness …

So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them and how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic as best you can. Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun that you let out a tiny squeak just thinking of it?

Monday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact again at 10:55am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday (August 9th) on; it will remain strong until Friday evening (August 18th). This heightens compassion and understanding and helps heal some wounds from the past. We also get a chance to engage in a humorous way about our own flaws and insecurities.

Ask yourself: What if I decided to take a more innocent approach to my healing process? What if I celebrated my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities?

What if personal limitations were my main drivers for creative approaches and expressing myself with more care and compassion? How open can I be to being “courageously myself”, complete with all my sensitivities and insecurities?

We are more willing to be open and courageous, trusting that the other person has our best interest at heart; we also more easily see beauty in human weaknesses rather than fault –– it’s a strong time for seeing potential in one another. What potential do you see?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of LeoAries, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
