Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 26th:

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning (Dec. 27th). The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Monday very early morning, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need to connect with like-minded people while remaining objective; on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.

As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others and in ourselves (this in turn, informs our self-worth); as far as possible, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. (the Moon in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus, exact at 2:35am EST

Monday afternoon, at 1:19pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 13 hours, until 2:34am EST (Tuesday every early morning). Use this intuitive time to focus on a long-term vision for your communities that involves a mature and realistic approach. As best as you can, take your time, and do your best to come from a place of integrity.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early afternoon until Tuesday very early morning ahead of time.

Accept the Validity of Your Anger & Desires

This week’s headline items: The Balsamic Moon phase begins on Monday late evening; Jupiter re-enters Aries late Tuesday late morning; Wednesday late afternoon, the Sun changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn, marking the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere; on Thursday, Neptune’s station ends, and Mercury starts to slow down, beginning its Station phase as it prepares to come to a halt and go retrograde next week; on Friday early morning, Chiron comes to a halt (ending its 5-month Retrograde phase), and a SuperMoon and New Moon in Capricorn becomes exact.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late evening (for 4.5 hours); Thursday afternoon (for 11.5 hours), and Saturday late evening (for 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, I would like to…

…wish you all a wonderful Holiday season and Winter Solstice! It’s been such a treat to reconnect with so many of you over the last several weeks.

If anyone is interested in connecting with me over the holidays, I will be available for Readings and Coaching sessions. If I don’t talk to you during the holidays, may you find peace and inner joy in the coming week!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 19th:

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day; it will journey there until Wednesday very early morning. Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. It does so through subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Monday late morning, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:23am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday night on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Dec. 21st). This aspect asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth, and finances. If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.

We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are asked to do some healing work. As best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It’s ok.

If you get triggered by someone, as best as you can, take it as an opportunity to see where this trigger originated — probably in your childhood. Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are, and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced; it wants to move through us and out.

The more we resist or suppress our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place. As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might change, if you had 5% more compassion with yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Monday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 12:37pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday afternoon (Dec. 18th); it will remain strong until Tuesday afternoon. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward; we need to make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness, so we can make adjustments.

This might concern compromising with others. Our enthusiasm might make us impatient or hasty with others. Our values may not be in alignment with those we engage with. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative, adjusting as needed.

When life slows down, or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways that we can’t comprehend right now. Stay as open and observant as you can. Ask yourself: How mature and realistic could I allow myself to be?

This combo could also be related to a mental crisis, so as best as you can, take extra care of your mental well-being and focus on long-term goals that support your “mind-body” well-being.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 11-13 degrees of Capricorn or Gemini? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars of Aries).

Monday early evening, an opportune Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:39pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Tuesday evening (Dec. 13th) on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Dec. 27th) — an unusually long time due to Chiron’s Station phase. This is an opportunity to accept the validity of our anger and desires, so we can learn to express these energies naturally and confidently.

This could also inspire us to make resolutions and take action toward healing our physical, sexual, and spiritual wounds. As best as you can, allow yourself and others to be human while on your path to wholeness and a larger, more purposeful life. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — those aren’t necessarily handed to us; we have to make them happen.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? What if I took a curious approach toward my flaws, quirks, and insecurities? How might this support my healing process? Someone else’s?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-14 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars rules Aries).

Monday late evening, around 9:30pm EST, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 13° of Scorpio. This lasts until Friday early morning when the New Moon in Capricorn becomes exact (more on that later this week… however, feel free to already watch my New Moon video here)

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch; as best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath, and exhale any tension. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Now, let’s talk about the New Moon:

New Moons are good times to reflect on our lives and set new intentions. This is an excellent time to go within and plant a seed for anything we would like to accomplish over the next 28 days and beyond.

Given it takes place less than 48 hours after the Winter Solstice, this New Moon is a significant time to set Intentions, not just for the next 28 days but also for this Winter season. This is because the Solstices are important turning points that take place twice a year: They are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season.

This New Moon is also a SuperMoon. These occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New at its closest distance to the Earth and are more powerful. They generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies, leading to significant shifts in consciousness.

Since it occurs in Capricorn, this Super New Moon directs us to investigate our relationship with authority, not just “authority” in the external sense, but also our “inner authority”. The next section of this forecast will dig into this in more detail — you may also want to watch my New Moon video 🙂

The most prominent themes of this Super New Moon are:

  • Chiron (the wounded Healer) stations direct less than an hour before the New Moon becomes exact, therefore highly exalted! And making several aspects to other planets in this New Moon chart, bringing our attention to our healing processes.
  • The New Moon makes a Square to Jupiter, which moves back into Aries on Dec. 20th, asking us to stretch and grow.
  • Mercury is also exalted in this New Moon chart (in its pre-Shadow phase and stationing) and making several noteworthy aspects, bringing our attention to being responsible and realistic with our words and thoughts. Practicing effective, authentic, mature, and empowering communication is helpful.
  • And last but not least, there is a Venus-Uranus Trine that brings newness into our relationships — and possibly also into our financial future.

The highest vibration of Capricorn is self-mastery: the development of responsibility, resourcefulness, reliability, setting realistic goals and healthy boundaries. So the next 28 days are perfect for working on these areas.

This is the last New Moon of 2022, and since Capricorn represents the quest for self-mastery on the physical plane, some helpful questions you can ask yourself include…

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 0-4 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Libra, or 29 degrees of  Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for the month’s Moon cycle — the perfect time is after the New Moon becomes exact (but not during a Moon void of course).

So this month, there are two best and most potent times to set intentions — the first would be any time between 5:17am on Friday, Dec. 23rd, and 10:11pm on Saturday late evening, Dec. 24th — and the second would be between 2:14am and 5:17am on Sunday morning (Dec. 25th) (EST/New York time).

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fan-page and following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

This week’s headline items: Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase on Monday; the last Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Friday very early morning; Chiron’s Station intensifies on Saturday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for almost 17 hours); Friday afternoon (for 36 minutes), and Sunday early afternoon (for 5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 12th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day; it will journey there until Wednesday very early morning. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness.

So, hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, and tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun that you let out a tiny squeak just thinking of it?

Monday early afternoon, an opportune Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 1:12pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build last Friday evening (Dec. 9th); it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. This aspect provides an opportunity to become aware of what needs to happen if we are to accomplish something concrete.

We have common sense at our disposal; we are willing to look reality in the eye and take responsibility for our lives and how we live. This is an opportunity to become more aware of the bigger picture and our perspectives on society and our various networks or affiliations — and also how a larger view could benefit us, both in terms of our long-term visions within the collective and for our own individual journey of growth and expanded horizons.

Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Sagittarius, AquariusLibra, or Aries? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn).

Also on Monday, Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase when it reaches 8°9’ of Capricorn; this is 2.5 weeks prior to its Retrograde phase (which starts on Dec. 29th at 24º21′ of Capricorn)

What is the Shadow phase? The period immediately before and after a planet’s Retrograde phase is referred to as the “Shadow phase”; at these times, the planet travels again through the degrees of a sign (or signs) it had already passed through before and during its Retrograde phase. Mercury is usually in its shadow for about two to three weeks before a retrograde and three to four weeks after.

If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items — especially connected to transportation (cars, airline tickets, etc.) or communication devices (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) — be aware of the Shadow periods as well as the Retrograde phases. If possible, get these things done before Mercury enters its pre-Shadow or wait until after the post-Shadow phase is over — post-Shadow phase will end on Feb. 7th (in this case).

Of course, if there is something that must get done during these phases, don’t put your whole life on hold, just because Mercury is Retrograde or in its Shadow. Sometimes things line up exactly at the right time; as best as you can, trust that it’s all “perfect”

Get a better idea of how to make good use of the Mercury pre-Shadow phase, so you can have a better experience during the upcoming Mercury Retrograde phase, by watching our latest webinar about the “Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase in Capricorn & Chiron’s Station Direct” ==> Click here for more info.

Get Quiet With Your Mind

This week’s headline items: Mercury changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Tuesday early evening; the Full Moon in Gemini becomes exact Wednesday late evening; Venus changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Friday late evening; Chiron starts its Station phase again (slowing down, getting ready to end its 5-month Retrograde phase).

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for a little over 1.5 hours); Thursday night/Friday very early morning (for a little over 1.5 hours), and Sunday afternoon (for almost 1.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 5th:

The Moon remains in peaceful, steady Taurus all day; it will journey there until Tuesday late afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing today and tomorrow? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Monday morning, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: we may want to have some peace and quiet, while, at the same time, feeling the desire to explore life and maybe even have an outdoor adventure. (Moon in Taurus quincunxes the Sun in Sagittarius, exact at 7:50am EST)

Monday early afternoon, we are asked to connect with people with similar values who can provide practical support for our visions, and to share with them what is important to us (Moon conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, exact at 12:38pm EST)

Monday evening, we are being asked to make some creative choices — on the one hand, we need to make room for peace and physical pleasure; on the other, we need to focus on our visions for the future and see what’s realistic for us and humanity. We may need to make some adjustments between these two seemingly irreconcilable needs. (Moon in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 8:54pm EST)

Full Moon in Gemini – the article

On Dec. 7th, at 11:08pm EST, the Full Moon becomes exact, in 16 degrees of Gemini; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini on Dec. 6th in the afternoon starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini, opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. If you are already a Member of my online community, you can watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Let’s start by looking at the highlights of this Full Moon:

  • The Moon makes an exact alignment to retrograde Mars in Gemini, which asks us to take action on something that we have been meaning to take care of for a while.
  • The Sun in Sagittarius quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, which invites us to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
  • Neptune in Pisces (our primary connection to universal love and our intuitive knowing) is still exalted until Dec. 22nd, making this planet’s energy a vital part of this Full Moon chart; it widely squares the Full Moon polarity in Gemini-Sagittarius, as well as Mars.
  • Mercury, the planet of communication or also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini), aligns with Venus, the planet of love and beauty, and they both squares Jupiter, the planet of expansion and generosity (also the ruler of Sagittarius)

There are several other important aspects in this Full Moon chart, and I will go into all of them in detail in a moment — but first…

Full Moons illuminate the higher/lighter vibration and the denser Shadow side of each sign. As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows comes to the forefront more and more, so we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level.

This ultimately creates a more conscious society that can make more empowering choices for the future. However, it is essential to remember that this is a process and takes time to get to a place where we can see a clear shift on a collective level.

Let’s take a look at the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity…

November 28th – December 4th

Approach Things With Integrity

This week’s headline items: It’s time to take action on our New Moon intentions from Monday morning on. The first Quarter Moon, in Pisces, becomes exact on Wednesday late morning, and Jupiter ends its Station phase, also on Wednesday. Neptune comes to a halt, ending its 5-month Retrograde phase on Saturday evening.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for a little over 17.5 hours), Thursday late evening (for almost 2 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for almost 6 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder:

This Saturday (Dec. 3rd) at 2pm EST, I will be giving a talk on Chiron in Aries called Healing the Wounded Masculine. We will discuss how Astrology can help us integrate parts of ourselves that have felt wounded or separate in the past.

This talk will be part of an online Astrology Conference scheduled for December 2nd – 4th, 2022. I am excited to share that I will be joining 11 other wonderful Astrologers for this online conference (Breaking Down the Borders).

Please join us; it’s going to be a fantastic weekend! ==> Click here for more info and to register for FREE!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 28th:

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday evening.

Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and this planet is currently moving through Taurus, making today and tomorrow a great time to look at our physical connection to our own body, finances, and whatever is most important to us on this planet.

It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us or keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.

Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?

Where have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?

Monday after 3:06am EST, it’s time to take action on our New Moon intentions — if you set Intentions last week on Wednesday evening, Thursday, or Friday, after the New Moon became exact, today will be the best time to start taking relevant actions.

If you wrote your intentions down, go back and look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Monday early afternoon, a harmonious Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:56pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Nov. 20th on; it will remain strong until Dec. 5th. This aspect brings more self-discipline, maturity, focus, purpose, and self-motivation.

We tend to be more practical than usual; our progress in most projects may be slow, but it will always be steady — as you can imagine, this can be a very productive period, as we are able to take responsibility for our long-term goals and the foundations we are currently building.

We can bring honesty and realism to the world, seeing what works and doesn’t work for us, and we approach things with integrity.

This is an especially favorable aspect for those employed in the following industries: marketing, sales, teaching, writing, or anything in which speaking and sharing play a necessary role — and also for independent contractors and the self-employed in general.

Given that Mars will be Retrograde until Jan. 12th, 2023, we may want to reconnect with people from the past or engage in projects we started a while back. High up there on the list of things that feel rewarding at this time are rewriting, re-editing, researching, reapplying, and reselling.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Gemini, Aquarius, or Libra? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Monday, late evening, a somewhat challenging Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9:19pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday late evening (Nov. 27th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday late evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

Learning to let go of the past means being willing to release relationships we have outgrown. Learning ways to abruptly alter our circumstances without emotional turmoil: This is the way Uranus’s energy urges us to grow. We need freedom “within” our relationships, not “from” them.

It’s also time to reevaluate the ways we’ve imprisoned ourselves in protective behaviors and then rebel against them. While “Different” is not always “improved”, change is essential to our evolutionary process.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-17 degrees of Sagittarius or Taurus? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, at 1:53am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 17.5 hours, until 7:15pm EST. Use this intuitive time to focus on a long-term vision for your communities that involve a mature and realistic approach. As best as you can, take your time, and do your best to come from a place of integrity.

As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday night until Tuesday evening ahead of time.

Elevate Your Life Perspectives

This week’s headline items: the Sun changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius very early on Tuesday; the New Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact early evening Wednesday (this also signifies the end of Eclipse season); Jupiter comes to a halt, ending its 4-month Retrograde phase on Wednesday evening; Neptune’s Station intensifies on Thursday.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC)phases this week: Monday morning (for 6 hours); Wednesday early afternoon (for 2 hours), Friday afternoon (for almost 2 hours), and Sunday afternoon (for almost 2 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder:

Monday, Nov. 21st at 7:30pm EST, I will be joining the lovely Primavera Salva for a New Moon Ritual & Collaboration. This online event is by donation (pay what you can); all proceeds will go to God’s Love We Deliver, and every $20 donation provides a holiday meal. ==> Click here to register and save yourself a Spot.

This Special online event will be an opportunity to let go of the heaviness of the Scorpio-energies (within and around us) and anything that came up during Eclipse Season, and at the same time prepare us for the New Moon in Sagittarius ==> Click here to register now and save yourself a Spot!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 21st:

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking)! The Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 12:16pm EST. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉

One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Monday morning, at 6:14am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 6 hours, until 12:16pm EST. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, collaborate with others, and play nice; on the other hand, be authentic and truthful about what you want to build long-term.

As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.

Monday early afternoon, at 12:16pm EST, the Moon enters passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon.

This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”, etc. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.

Monday early evening, a Mercury/Venus alignment in 7° of Sagittarius becomes exact at 5:55pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from November 12th on; it will remain strong until December 2nd. From Nov. 12th-16th, this alignment started to build while Venus and Mercury were still journeying through passionate, intense, all-or-nothing, secretive Scorpio, and then from Nov. 17th-Dec. 2nd these two planets are happily connected in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking, freedom-loving Sagittarius

This planetary alignment in Sagittarius is an excellent time to start sharing about cultural art projects (or artistic endeavors related to philosophy or religion — visual arts, perhaps), or any teachings connected to a broader perspective on life.

It indicates an ability to communicate from the heart — and in fact, connecting to people we have an affinity with is essential.

We want to feel able to connect in a harmonious, peaceful manner and communicate on an equal footing. We tend to have a strong sense of fairness at this time and want to be in touch with people who meet us halfway. In general, we are very agreeable and enjoy socializing.

We also thoroughly enjoy the written and spoken word — literature, wordplay, puns, moving conversations — especially if the topics are connected to life philosophies, the law, Higher Education, and exploring other people’s cultures, religions, and nationalities.

This combo allows our mind and heart to love and think bigger, and go beyond our emotional experience towards a larger perspective on what the meaning of it all might be.

This also invites us to be open to shifting our perceptions. We might therefore want to ask: What are my attitudes towards life? Towards “that situation”? (You know the one…) Where do I insist on “being right”? How do I usually feel afterward?

Discovering what is true, universal, and most meaningful requires periodically looking outside of our programming and going beyond our day-to-day lives.

Ask yourself: What philosophies resonate with me? What universal truths align with my heart and my direct experience of life so far?

What stories have I been telling myself about life? About my relationships? About my finances? Where is my understanding of any of those subjects? Do I see the glass as half-full or half-empty?

Do I shy away from new experiences or thrive on exploring new territory? Am I open to elevating my perspective by exposing myself to other cultures, religions, or fields of knowledge?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Monday, Nov. 21st at 7:30pm EST, I am joining the lovely Primavera Salva for a New Moon Ritual & Collaboration. This beautiful online event is by donation (pay what you can) ==> last chance to register and save yourself a Spot.

New Moon in Sagittarius — the article

On Nov. 23rd at 5:57pm EST, the New Moon in 1.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. This New Moon also signifies the end of Eclipse Season (which started on Oct. 15th). We have received our consciousness upgrades and can now move forward with any intentions we set in late October (at the time of the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio).

With the New Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, we are being asked to go beyond our day-to-day knowledge and look for a larger perspective. Also, feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

Before we dive in I just wanted to mention briefly 2 events that may be of interest to you:

1) I will be joining the lovely Primavera Salva from @transform_with_love for a NEW MOON Ritual & Collaboration on Monday, Nov. 21st at 7:30pm EST!

This special event will be an opportunity to let go of the heaviness of the Scorpio-energies (within and around us) and anything that came up during Eclipse Season, and at the same time prepare us for the New Moon in Sagittarius.

The event is by donation (pay what you can) — all proceeds will go to “God’s Love We Deliver”, and every $20 donation will provide a holiday meal for someone in need ==> To save yourself a spot, and join us, click here

2) I am also excited to share that I got invited to join 11 other Astrologers for a weekend conference at the beginning of December. It’s the 6th installment of the “Breaking Down the Borders” online Astrology Conference, scheduled for December 2nd-4th. And I will be giving a talk on Chiron in Aries, called: Healing the Wounded Masculine on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 2pm EST.

Please join us; it’s going to be a fantastic weekend! ==> Click here for more info and to register for FREE

Back to the New Moon: New Moons are a great time to catch our breath; to hit the pause button on our life, and to set some intentions for the new Lunar cycle.

Lots to consider with this New Moon chart:

  • This New Moon conjuncts/aligns with Venus & Mercury ==> 4 planets in Sagittarius
  • Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) is highly exalted, as it comes to a halt only 5 minutes after the New Moon becomes exact (changing directions)
  • Jupiter, currently in a late degree of Pisces, trines the New Moon, in an early degree of Sagittarius
  • Jupiter also sextiles Pluto in Capricorn
  • The highly exalted Jupiter aligns with Neptune in Pisces
  • Neptune is also exalted (stationing), preparing to come to a halt on Dec. 3rd
  • Neptune & Jupiter in Pisces still square Mars in Gemini
  • Venus & Mercury in Sagittarius trine Chiron in Aries

More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s look at the Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury alignment in Sagittarius:

Sagittarius, urges us to examine our beliefs and their impact on our lives. It reminds us that all truths are relative, and that what matters most is a whole-hearted approach.

Ask yourself: Do my beliefs and attitudes enrich my life? Make me kinder? More accessible to my heart-energies? What beliefs, perspectives or attitudes are asking to be released at this time? Where am I invited to take a leap of faith?

With Mercury involved we are invited to remember that we are the editors of our own experience. We interpret our reality through a multitude of filters, determined by our childhood conditioning, education, religion, culture, gender, and nationality. Ask yourself…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-4 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces, or 29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. The best time to set intentions is soon after the New Moon becomes exact — as long as it’s not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be any time between 5:57pm Wednesday evening (Nov. 23rd) until 2:22pm Friday (Nov. 25th)and then again from 4:18pm until 5:57pm, also on Friday (Nov. 25th). (EST- New York time)

Note, however, that there is a Moon void of course on Nov. 25th — it runs from 2:22pm EST until 4:18pm EST. Don’t set your intentions during those 116 minutes — instead, allow intuition to surface possible intentions while you wait. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here

If you live outside the EST timezone (i.e. US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter; I will be posting reminders to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

November 14th – 20th

Inner Wisdom & Optimism

This week’s headline items: Neptune still stations all week, and on Monday, Jupiter starts its Station phase again, slowing down as it gets ready to end its 4-month Retrograde phase. Venus changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, and Mercury follows suit very early on Thursday morning. The last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Wednesday morning; Jupiter’s station intensifies on Friday; and the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Sunday morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday early morning (a little over 2 hours), Wednesday evening (for a little over 1 hour), and Saturday very early morning (for a little over 2 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a couple of announcements:

  1. My webinar, “Jupiter’s Station Direct in Pisces & the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, is now available for purchase on my webinar-page

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 14th:

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking)! The Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 7:48am EST.

Monday early morning, at 5:41am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 2 hours, until 7:48am EST. Use this intuitive time to trust your intuitive sensing and allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you. Release anything that feels outdated or stuck in the past. It is also a great time to explore spiritual, intuitive, or creative endeavors, and to lend loving and nurturing support to others.

As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday morning, at 7:48am EST, the Moon enters fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂

So, hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, and tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things; be honest and authentic as best you can.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Wednesday morning).

Monday late evening, an opportune Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:27pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (Nov. 12th) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect provides an opportunity to restructure or rebuild areas of our lives that need it.

It’s also an opportunity to do more research toward building something meaningful, all while learning about our authentic motivations; as best as you can, dig deeper — and keep your heart open — a fearful approach is not recommended.

Ask yourself: How might releasing any fearful or “worst case scenario” thinking help deepen my connection to whatever I feel deeply passionate about, out there in the world? Is it at least possible that letting go of “old”, lower-vibration thought forms colored by fear or self-protection would support me in effortlessly reaching my long-term goals?

Remember: opportunities aren’t “automatic”… we have to go after them, and realize them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC), or any personal planets in 23-29 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity — the same applies for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Also, Monday late evening, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:43pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Nov. 11th); it will remain strong until this Thursday evening (Nov. 17th). This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us — especially anything that relates to traumas from the past and fears that keep us stuck, or disconnected from others, or that simply keep us from a fully passionate life.

Our intuition, imagination, and inspiration all seem to be “zeroed in”. We go beyond “tolerance”, to lovingly embrace differences in others, and give where it’s needed with open hearts and hands. All of this also feeds into any creative and spiritual endeavors that start around this time.

Ask yourself: what am I ready to release that has kept me from living a passionate life? Who am I ready to forgive? Do I make it onto that list? What if forgiveness wasn’t even a requirement? What if I could simply choose to move on, because I understand the power of acceptance and compassion, towards myself and others?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Also, on Monday, Jupiter starts to slow down again (stations) at 28.5-29 degrees of Pisces, preparing to come to a halt on Nov. 23rd (after having been retrograde for the past 4 months). This station will last until Nov. 30th.

When a planet stations, we start to be more fully aware of its energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies as they exist within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.

Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight through knowledge and exploration. Some of this planet’s keywords are morality, gratitude, hope, honor, and the law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, wisdom, understanding, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with our sense of humor, generosity, tolerance, goodwill, and mercy.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include irresponsibility — too much of a good thing, leading to blind optimism, excess, and overindulgence.

We have been connecting internally to our wisdom and ability to grow for the past four months. What did you discover about your ability to learn and grow since June 28th? Do you have a better understanding of your own inner wisdom and optimism — and how to access it? How could those discoveries change how you connect to your intuitive knowing?

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius; or 0-1 degree of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

Letting Go of the “Old” to Let In the “New”

This week’s headline items: a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus becomes exact Tuesday morning; on Saturday, Neptune in Pisces starts to slow down (station), preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase; Mars ends its Station phase on Sunday (but will remain retrograde until January 12th, 2023).

There will only be two Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday morning (a little over 1.5 hours) and Friday early evening (for almost 2 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, a gentle reminder:

Until Saturday morning you can still sign up for this week’s Forum!  ==> We have our monthly Forecasting Forum at the end of this week…please see the end of this Weekly Forecast for more info!

An EARLY BIRD SPECIAL is available until midnight Wednesday, Nov. 9th!

To ask a question in advance; please email me by Nov. 11th by the end of the workday,… and if I don’t have it yet, send me a copy of your Birth Chart (If you have done a Reading or Coaching-Healing session with me in the past, or if you have already emailed me a copy of your chart, I will have it. If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 7th:

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. It will journey there until Wednesday morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉

Also, this Moon placement starts the build-up to the Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse) in Taurus (exact on Tuesday morning, more on that tomorrow…)

Monday very early morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:34am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves up to this point — a process of maturing that requires us to adjust and stay flexible.

On the one hand, we want to connect on a deeper, more intimate level with others; on the other hand, we feel a sharp need to improve our various communities — we are asking how we could create a better future for us all, going from A to B without missing anything essential — in short, we want to determine what’s real and would provide the best foundation for a better future. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.

We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.

The key here is to approach both in a spirit that combines authenticity and maturity rather than attachment to a certain outcome. Pushing will most likely not get us what we want — better to go one slow and steady step at a time, so we can come back later (if needs be) with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Monday is the day before a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus-Scorpio becomes exact — the second Eclipse in this Eclipse Season — so there is some potent energy coming our way. It would be wise to prepare ourselves to be transformed by it, allowing for our consciousness upgrade to be installed — you may also want to watch my “Members Lunar Eclipse in Taurus” video if you haven’t seen it yetNot yet a Member? Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are excellent days to slow things down and go within. Remember: Eclipses bring a strong focus to endings and beginnings — they push us forward in our evolution and connect us more fully to our Soul’s Journey. As best as you can, trust that whatever is leaving or falling apart is making way for something better.

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved. The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades ==> If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my whole Lunar Eclipse videoNot yet a Member? Lunar Eclipse in Taurus — the article

On November 8th, at 6:02am EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 16 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio).

This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears.

If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my whole Lunar Eclipse videoNot yet a Member? Watch a 15-minute excerpt of my Lunar Eclipse video here.

This powerful Full Moon is a Total Lunar Eclipse viewable across Asia, Australia, the Americas, and the Pacific. The duration of totality lasts 85 minutes (=1hr 25min), so we will feel the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for approximately 43 days.

This Total Lunar Eclipse will also fall on the upcoming Election Day in the USA; this is the first Election Day total Lunar Eclipse in U.S. history, and it won’t happen again until November 8th, 2394!

This particular Lunar Eclipse is the second of two Eclipses within two weeks; it offers an opportunity to value ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

There is an emphasis with this Eclipse on creating a healthy sense of self-esteem and having a healthy relationship with the physical world.

And what’s the best way to accomplish that? By facing our fears, healing old trauma, and owning our power, we are releasing what’s been holding us back — individually and collectively.

As you might know from my last Solar Eclipse video, Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (both collectively and individually). All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved; in this case: The Moon is in steady, peaceful Taurus, while the Sun is in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio.

The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades.

The Lunar Eclipse highlights relationships of all kinds — but with this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a heightened emphasis on self-value and intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what we need to explore, embrace, and integrate about the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to November 9th, 2003: What did I need to integrate back then? What became clearer at that time around exploring my talents? What about my self-worth? Was I able to see my value? What about my relationship with money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address this upcoming Lunar Eclipse in our next Forecasting Forum on November 12th! Please join us if you’d like to know how this powerful Lunation will impact you personally. We will also address Jupiter’s Station Direct phase in Pisces. What have you learned about yourself and life since July 28th? What new perspectives are you ready to bring to the world?

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until November 8th! So I invite you to take advantage of that — unless you are already a Star Member — you are automatically registered and will receive an invite email to join us live (it goes out the day before the live event). I release the mp4-video recording within 24 hours of the live event.

That’s it for announcements and logistics; back to the Lunar Eclipse:

Many planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart — an important T-Square with Saturn as the Focus Point in Aquarius and the empty leg in Leo. The Moon conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, while the ruler of Taurus (Venus) still conjuncts the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio. The ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) is still in Capricorn, sextiling Neptune & Jupiter, who have come back together in Pisces.

Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) is now Retrograde in Gemini, still exalted until November 13th, creating a lasting Square with Neptune and now Jupiter in Pisces. The good news: we also have a Trine (a harmonious aspect) between Venus (ruler of Taurus) and Neptune. More about the specifics in regards to all of this in a moment.

This Full Moon is the third Lunar Eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity, connected to the current Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio  –– a process which will continue to unfold until…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 16 degrees of Taurus:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-21 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
