Forecast for Mon., Jan. 1st – Sun., Jan. 7th, 2018
First off: Happy New Year! We are entering 2018! Wow! We will look at what’s coming up in 2018 in more detail during the Monthly Forecasting Forum on Jan. 3rd. Feel free to join us — you can register here
If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 3pm EST on Wednesday you will receive the mp4-video presentation of the webinar. Please note that we will be talking about what’s coming up in 2018 — a look a head at the whole year!
This week’s headline items: the Full Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Monday evening, Uranus comes to halt (ending its 5-month retrograde phase) on Tuesday late morning; Mars aligns with Jupiter in Scorpio on Saturday evening.
There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday very early morning until 3:10am EST, Tuesday early evening (for a little over 8.5 hours), Thursday early evening (for 9 hours), and Saturday late evening (for almost 9.5 hours).
Monday (January 1st): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 3:10am EST. At that time, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday late evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact later that evening). Click here to watch my Full Moon video
Monday evening, at 9:24pm EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 11.5 degrees of Cancer/Capricorn). As mentioned above, the entrance of the Moon into Cancer (Monday, very early in the morning) began the energetic build up towards this Full Moon.
This will be another “Super” Full Moon! The Moon is at its closest point to the Earth and therefore the gravitational pull is stronger; we experience this on the physical, emotional and psychic levels.
Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this Full Moon, there is a particularly strong emphasis on family- and business-relationships.
With the Sun in Capricorn for the past 1.5 weeks, we are looking for balance, and are more aware than ever that something needs to be brought back into alignment. The balance we seek is between the Capricorn–Cancer polarity.
Capricorn teaches us to honor all aspects of the physical world; it also urges us to create and build something of long-term use to everyone. Cancer, on the other hand, represents the formation of the emotional body and an understanding of our feelings and needs; this helps us navigate life by building an awareness of what is healthy or harmful to us.
In order to emerge as healthy beings, we need to be able to nurture ourselves and others, in part by taking care of our feelings and our “inner baby” (Cancer) — yet we also need to be able to evolve into responsible adults, able to provide for ourselves and others (Capricorn).
Capricorn asks us to step into our power and mature to the point where we no longer need to look outside of ourselves for approval or validation — to become the master of our own lives.
Questions you can ask yourself: Am I more connected to what nurtures me — or to my “shoulds”? Does my current environment support my inner growth? Does it provide me with nourishing bonds to others?
You could say that Cancer is about healthy roots, while Capricorn is about sharing the fruits of our labor — and both signs represent feminine, receptive energies, that require of us to generate from the inside out.
As well as illuminating our path towards greater spiritual alignment, Full Moons illuminate the shadow side of each sign — for the next two weeks, ask yourself these questions: Am I taking too little or too much responsibility in a particular area of my life? When do I have a tendency to blame, shame or feel guilty? Where do I tend to get defensive? Where do I need to set better boundaries?
In order to develop a healthy inner Capricorn, we must learn to listen to our feelings and honor our needs, rather than disregarding them. Only then can we build something of value and move towards mastery.
Ask yourself (and as best as you can, be really honest with yourself): Where and when do I tend to look for permission outside of myself? In what moments of my life did I abdicate my authority, or project it onto others? How important is status, control or winning to me?
Cancer seeks to create a sense of home and family, the experience of nourishing bonds, and surroundings that support our growth. Ask yourself: When do I have the tendency to hold on to the past? When do I resist change? What happens when I don’t allow myself to feel my feelings?
As we cultivate our inner life, our soul light builds and radiates out to nurture others; we ultimately discover that our true ‘home’ is actually the light inside our own heart. Feel free to also watch Full Moon/SuperMoon video
This Full Moon points to several energy patterns:
The first one is a Grand Trine in Water, involving the Moon in Cancer, Neptune in Pisces, and Mars/Jupiter in Scorpio. This brings a feminine emphasis towards the flow of compassion, psychic/intuitive sensing, and with it a desire for emotional fulfillment and empowerment within our relationships.
This Grand Trine will help us raise our vibrations, if we choose to do so; it will make it easier to embrace shadow issues and redefine them — we get a chance to bring awareness and acceptance to any places in us that have felt closed off to the public, neglected, ignored.
Seeking help from trusted support systems or healers during this process is not only recommended, it is also wise if we seek to heal our insecurities and those inner places of disconnect. So… for the next two weeks, ask yourself: What if I listened to myself, nurtured myself, treated myself with the respect, understanding and love I would show my dearest friend? What would I be guided to do? How might others benefit from that?
The second of those energy patterns is a Stellium in Capricorn: the Sun aligns with Pluto, Venus and Saturn. As the third earth sign, Capricorn (at its highest vibration) seeks to create forms that are based on spiritual truths — that all matter is composed of energy, and it is our collective duty to use all energy responsibly.
Ask yourself: What am I likely to manifest in my own world, given the energies that are part of my creative process every day?
We are being asked to bring conscious awareness to our essence and purpose (Pluto), to our roles, rules, responsibilities and boundaries (Saturn), and finally to our values and how we relate to ourselves and others (Venus).
This provides an opportunity to truly align with what brings emotional and material security to our world. As best as you can, focus on dedication, wholeness and truth — devote yourself to your true passions, to your heart. We are more likely to want to work towards a goal, to achieve things, give form to something in the external world that aligns with those values.
Ask yourself: What lies between me and my Authentic Self? Can I actually find any such obstacle if I let go of memories and concepts, and just look here and now?
It’s also worth noting: Success and rewards will come in direct proportion to the amount of authentic passion, integrity and maturity we bring to the world. Ask yourself: Where do I need to commit more deeply to what really matters? How authentic am I when it comes to my long-term goals? How passionate? How truthful?
And of course, as always when Cancer and Capricorn are involved: take baby-steps (or if you prefer “take it one day at a time” 😉 Ask yourself: Why would I sprint if I can get there at the perfect time by walking? Where does the urge for rushing or “getting there” come from? Is it based in fear or love? What if I brought 5% more self-love to every moment while working towards my achievement? Could I do that just by checking in with myself from time to time?
The third major energy pattern that this Full Moon points to is the Pluto/Uranus square — which is only 5 degrees apart again, due to Uranus’s Retrograde motion and station phase at the time of this Full Moon. As mentioned in these forecasts many times since 2011, this square is an invitation for us all to make a giant step forward, both individually and collectively — we are ready for major changes in our own lives and on a global level.
This is all about each of us stepping up, stretching ourselves, making a difference, one by one — we feel a deep inner need to create personal and global change — we detect shifts in the world at large. Authenticity and individual self-expression are paramount. The meaning of “Leadership” is changing: We must all lead now, in our own lives and in the world, for the good of all.
Ask yourself: Where could I play a bigger game? Where am I being called to step up?
This aspect carries an extra charge, because Uranus stations direct at 24 degrees of Aries on Jan. 2nd, only one day after the Full Moon becomes exact. It’s time to make a real (not merely cosmetic) change in at least one area of our life. Uranus in Aries exhorts us to be bold, think for ourselves, and not be dependent on external approval.
Ask yourself: Am I expressing my individuality to the fullest? Am I connecting to a larger vision for my future? Is anything holding me back?
If we insist on holding onto a job, relationship, or situation we have outgrown, an unexpected turn of events may force us to go in a new direction. Uranus stationed retrograde on August 3rd at 28.5° of Aries; reflect on the weeks around that date. Ask yourself: What needs to change in my life, small or large? What is asking for a quantum leap?
As best as you can, be brave enough to step out… This is also a great time to work with your own astrological chart, or seek other ways to elevate your consciousness, create your own reality and experience freedom from within. Ask yourself: Where do I feel the desire to break free? Where have I denied myself permission to be free? Unique? Simply “myself”?
With this much erratic energy moving through our bodies, we are best off staying in movement and “shaking it out”. Flexibility, Courage, Self-Empowerment: these are the watchwords! Remember: what you do for you, you do for everyone… and what you do for everyone, you do for you!
Mars, the archetype of desire and courage, willpower and assertion, is in almost 15 degrees of Scorpio and is squaring the Moon Nodes, just as Jupiter did at the last Lunation.
Squares mark turning points — and this one is a turning point in our collective, spiritual journey. It’s asking us to find a balance between feminine and masculine energies — when we look at this, taking Scorpio into account, we can see that we are actually being invited to transform our inner masculine. Ask yourself: What does assertiveness look like when fear is not present? How can we use our masculine energies in a empowering way?
In order to get to a place of greater joy on an individual and collective level, one where we truly feel grateful for our lives, we need to first transform our approach towards passion, assertion, and leadership.
Ask yourself: What does true leadership mean to me? Where might I locate this energy within me? If I found it, what might I do with it? What small (or large) steps could I take to empower myself and others in my various communities?
During this time of change and transformation, self-care is definitely worth our attention… Make sure you get plenty of rest, affection, water and healthy nutritious foods 😉
To sum it all up: Tap into your inner courage. Honor your feelings and needs, so you can build something of value — and share the fruits of your labor with the world.
Ask yourself: What might the balance lie between nurturing and self-care, versus achieving my goals? Am I doing what I want to do, or what I think I should do? As best as you can, be kind and gentle, compassionate, and accepting of yourself — this will help balance the Cancer/Capricorn polarities. Again, feel free to also watch Full Moon/SuperMoon video
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-14 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Tuesday (Jan. 2nd): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Monday very early morning for details).
Tuesday early morning, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 4:37am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will remain strong until this Thursday. This aspect is an opportunity both to dissolve what no longer serves us, and to connect to our intuition. We definitely feel inspired. It’s also a great time to bring a sense of flow and faith to long-term plans.
Our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we are able to acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now — any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well — and it feels great to donate time or money to favored causes.
Remember that this is an “opportunity” — it isn’t just handed to us, we have to make it happen.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-14 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Tuesday morning, at 9:13am EST, Uranus comes to a halt in 24.5 degrees of Aries, turning direct again after its 5-month retrograde phase. We’ve had 5 months to reevaluate certain things: goals, group causes, issues around freedom. We’ve also reflected on our vision for the future, and where the obstacles to that vision might lie.
We are now ready to take into the world all that we have learned and make some progress. Uranus will be back to its usual speed by Jan. 14th; at that point you could say its “Change or be changed” — change is inevitable, so it might as well be change you’ve chosen consciously. Note that Uranus also rules electronics, technology and the internet; these may all be influenced by the planet’s slower movement.
Is your Sun sign or Ascendant in Aquarius? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-27 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will feel more connected to the Uranus station.
Tuesday at 5:46pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 8.5 hours, until 2:23am EST (Wednesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for going after your vision and for taking care of emotional or family issues.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening and night ahead of time 😉
Wednesday (Jan. 3rd): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer and VoC until 2:23am EST (see Monday very early morning for details).
Wednesday at 2:23am EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Friday very early morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.
We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂 So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can.
Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?
Wednesday early afternoon, an opportune Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:38pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will remain strong until Thursday night. This is an opportunity for compassion and kindness in our social and work-related interactions. We are more attuned to the subtleties of human interaction, and are more inclined to naturally cooperate with others.
We tend to “feel” each other on an energetic level now, a sensitive approach is therefore recommended. This is also an opportunity for imaginative or romantic interactions. Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 10-14 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Thursday (Jan. 4th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Wednesday very early morning for details).
Thursday at 6:10pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 9 hours, until 3:12am EST (Friday very early morning). During this intuitive time, have fun connecting with others and doing things that bring you joy — explore, take a risk. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday evening and night ahead of time 😉
Friday (Jan. 5th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 3:12am EST (see Wednesday very early morning for details).
Friday at 3:12am EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Sunday morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Saturday (Jan. 6th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Friday very early morning for details).
Saturday evening, a harmonious Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:39pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday night on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday night (Jan. 8th) This aspect supports a connection between our higher mind and our day-to-day mind. We are able to receive inspiration from higher places and maybe even look into the future. We are able to communicate our vision for a better future; insights arise from these communications.
Original, creative insights and ideas can appear out of nowhere; as best as you can, stay open to these unique “downloads” — they might change how you see and proceed with life 😉 This is a good time to communicate online, engage in computer-related activities or scientific projects, and also for anything metaphysical. Group activities like Meetups are great things to be involved with right now — especially if they allow us to share our vision for a better future.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will feel especially blessed by this connection. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Also on Saturday evening, a Mars/Jupiter alignment in almost 18 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact at 7:39pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Thursday evening (Jan. 11th). Mars’s energy combines with Jupiter’s expansiveness to increase our enthusiasm, liveliness, and optimism.
We enjoy travel, flying, the outdoors, competitive work, vigorous exercise and other Jupiter-ruled pursuits a lot more right now — especially when they also happen to fit in with our deeper emotional desires for connection and the healing of old traumas.
We are more likely to bring a self-confident “can-do” attitude, even a certain relish, to life’s deeper issues — and to any resources shared with others in areas where we exhibit a strong will to excel. We don’t rest on our laurels: we keep going on to even bigger and better things.
Particularly when it comes to intimate partnerships and shared financial matters, this could prove a very productive and busy time; indeed, given our capacity for skillfully handling a wide variety of tasks at the same time, we risk overextending. Don’t worry: Just pace yourself and go after your goals in the most practical and precise manner you can muster… Tomorrow is another day 😉
The last Mars/Jupiter conjunction took place on Oct 17th, 2015. What did you begin then? How could that now be deepened? What if that could now go to the next level? How might that come about?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-21 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius)
Saturday at 9:51pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 9.5 hours, until 7:15am EST (Sunday morning). Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.
Make space both for looking at your life philosophies, and for organizing your daily routines. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday late evening and night ahead of time 😉
Saturday late evening, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:06pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday night on; it will remain strong until next week, Monday night (Jan. 8th). This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.
That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself — and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) 🙂
Due to Mercury’s Retrograde phase in December, we are experiencing this particular aspect for the third time within the last 6 weeks (the first two times were between Nov. 21st — 27th and Dec. 7th — 12th.) As you look back to those time periods, ask yourself: Did any conversations bring up (or even trigger) wounds, hurts, or insecurities from the past? Did I have any insight about myself in regards to those wounds or insecurities? What steps am I ready to take now?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 22-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
Sunday (Jan. 7th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo and VoC until 7:15am EST (see Friday very early morning for details).
Sunday at 7:15am EST, the Moon moves into relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 9th). The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (which, will be exact Monday early evening…)
A head’s up for next Monday (Jan. 8th): the Moon remains in relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra all day (see Sunday morning for details). In the morning, an opportune Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 7:07am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will remain strong until Wednesday (Jan. 10th). In the late morning, an opportune Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 11:13am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday evening on; it will remain strong until Tuesday night (Jan.9th).
Mid-afternoon, an opportune Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 2:59pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday evening on; it will remain strong until Thursday evening (Jan. 11th). In the early evening, at 5:25pm EST, the Last Quarter Moon in Libra becomes exact. The Moon in Libra makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in Capricorn. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Libra Sunday morning. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉
Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja

Forecast for Mon., Dec. 25th – Sun., Dec. 31st, 2017
The theme of last week for me was “don’t rush into anything, take it one moment at a time, and know that all is well” 🙂 Happy Holidays, everyone!
This week’s headline items: Venus changes signs (from Sagittarius to Capricorn) on Monday, very early morning. The Uranus station intensifies on Tuesday, while the first Quarter Moon in Aries becomes exact early morning that same day. Mercury’s station ends on Wednesday.
There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday until 7:27pm EST, Wednesday late afternoon (for almost 9.5 hours), Friday morning (for 18.5 hours), and Sunday evening (for a little over 8.5 hours).
Monday (December 25th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 7:27pm EST. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Monday very early morning, at 12:26am EST, Venus changes signs from optimistic, adventurous Sagittarius to realistic, prestige-and-accomplishment-oriented Capricorn. Venus will be traveling through Capricorn until Jan. 18th, 2018. With this placement, our relationships tend to be more practical in nature: We see people for who they are and are not afraid to lay the facts on the table; we take things more seriously.
We take our time warming up to others, appreciate maturity in relationships, and can make long-term commitments. There is a strong focus on business relationships. Venus is also connected to finances and the things we value; it’s therefore a perfect time to get serious and make long-term plans in these areas: As best as you can, get real about what comes in and what goes out 😉
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more serious and focused for the next 4 weeks; your heart will want to make practical, attainable long-term plans. If you are a Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.
Monday early afternoon, a Venus/Saturn alignment in 0.5 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 12:55pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday on; it will remain strong until this Thursday. This alignment brings a sense of maturity and commitment to our relationships and the things we most value. Relationships feel stable and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly.
We experience a new sense of realism in existing partnerships. A sense of duty may lead us to sacrifice a personal pleasure to a “cause” or long-term goal.
We are ready to face any problems in personal relationships that have been swept under the carpet — and they will likely surface. Renewed ties to old friends, business partners or lovers are possible, as is a new sense of responsibility in existing relationships. This is not the best time to start a brand-new relationship.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in the following: 27-29 degrees of of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces, or 0-4 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Monday at 7:27pm EST, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new.
Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave — and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday early morning).
Tuesday (Dec. 26th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday evening for details).
Tuesday early morning, at 4:20am EST, the first Quarter Moon in almost 16 degrees of Aries becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Aries Monday evening. The Moon in pioneering, enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries makes a challenging aspect to the Sun practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week on Dec. 18th, the New Moon in Sagittarius was exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-7 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer)
Also on Tuesday, the Uranus station intensifies until Jan. 8th. It will come to a halt on Jan. 2nd (next week Tuesday) after its 5-month retrograde phase. When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced — we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Jan.5th).
Uranus is all about breaking away from traditional structures, moving towards a new future, a future that serves others as well as ourselves. Keyword: Freedom. We might have flashes of insight or new ideas about what needs to change in our lives. Definitely expect the unexpected.
Uranus also rules electronics, technology and the internet, so don’t be surprised if you experience some interruptions or short-term failures in these areas. Group activities are also ruled by Uranus, so these will also be more at the forefront of our awareness. As best as you can, stay open and flexible, go with the flow — and pay attention to those messages from the Universe 😉
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 2 weeks. Our intuitions will be very strong during this time and we have access to sudden insights and ideas. This gives us the opportunity to take a look to see how free we actually feel.
Are we expressing our individuality to the fullest? Are we connecting to a larger vision? Is anything holding us back? What did you discover about visions and freedoms these past 5 months?
Is your Sun-sign or Ascendant in Aquarius? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-27 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you are more affected by this station.
Wednesday (Dec. 27th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday evening for details).
Wednesday at 3:57pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 9.5 hours, until 1:23am EST (Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to connect to people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late afternoon, evening and night ahead of time 😉
Also on Wednesday, Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station. Communication and transportation is now back to “normal”, as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.
New ideas and information received during the Mercury retrograde phase (Dec. 3rd – 22nd) can now be reviewed. What did you discover about your inner dialogue — especially when it comes to your perspective and attitudes about life — during that time?
Thursday (Dec. 28th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 1:23am EST (see Monday evening for details).
Thursday very early morning, a harmonious Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:59am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday night (Dec. 22nd) on; it will remain strong until next week Monday evening (Jan. 1st, 2018). This aspect brings the ability to endow what we feel passionate about with our creativity — and connect it to a higher love.
Our animalistic nature is able to connect to compassion and understanding. We can now bring light to all of our inner dark places; through loving ourselves, we can transform that darkness into the gift of feeling powerfully connected to ourselves.
As this aspect is taking place in Scorpio and Pisces, we are connecting to our goals and dreams from an emotional place that is deeply spiritual and transformational. We are able to let go of our fears and attachments and are able to have faith that everything will turn out just as it needs to.
Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer will be touched in a particularly beautiful way by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)
Thursday at 1:23am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Saturday very early morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉
Friday (Dec. 29th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Thursday very early morning for details).
Friday at 9:01am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 18.5 hours, until 3:31am EST (Saturday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to empower each other in regards to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday all day and night ahead of time 😉
Saturday (Dec. 30th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 3:31am EST (see Thursday very early morning for details).
Saturday at 3:31am EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Monday very early morning (Jan. 1st, 2018). For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂
Sunday (Dec. 31st): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).
Sunday at 6:38pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 8.5 hours, until 3:10am EST (Monday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to connect to others and share your vision — or simply exchange information and move personal projects forward.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening and night ahead of time 😉
Sunday night/Monday very early morning, at 3:10am EST, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday late evening.
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact on Monday evening). Click here to watch my Full Moon video (will be posted by Dec. 27th)
A head’s up for next Monday (Jan. 1st): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 3:10am EST (see Saturday very early morning for details). At that time, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday late evening. At 9:24pm EST, the Full Moon in 11.5 degrees of Cancer becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Cancer very early Monday morning. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉
Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja

Forecast for Mon., Dec. 18th – Sun., Dec. 24th, 2017
Last week, I allowed myself to notice that my feeling body cannot be managed by my desire to move forward and “get over it” — rather, it needs compassion and acceptance to process and heal. It felt like quite a “Chiron-ish” week, if there is such a thing 😉 Another Chiron-related theme for the week was my bringing greater awareness to my emotional triggers and how I deal with them. I’m happy to say that I got lots of amazing support with all of this — thank you, to all the angels in my life 🙂
Before we get to this week’s forecast:
I would like to share with you some important announcements for 2018. The first announcement is about my new Astrology Online Community that I am in the process of creating, the second announcement it about the Forecasting Forum in January 2018: a look ahead at the whole Year! This week’s headline items: the New Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Monday, very early in the morning — and the Chiron Station ends that day as well. Mercury begins its station-phase on Tuesday, and comes to a halt on Friday evening — ending its 3-week retrograde phase. Saturn changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn, Tuesday late evening and Uranus begins its station-phase on Wednesday — slowing down and preparing to change direction. The Sun changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Thursday, late in the morning, marking the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.
There will only be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for 23 minutes), Wednesday late morning (for a little over 10.5 hours), Saturday early morning (for almost 4.5 hours), and Sunday late evening (for a little over 21.5 hours).
Monday (December 18th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 8:33am EST.
Sunday night/Monday very early morning, at 1:30am EST, the New Moon in 26.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. With the New Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, we seek to expand our day-to-day knowledge and look for the larger truth. Also feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject
Ask yourself: What might I see if I zoomed out for the wider view? Does my life as it is now reflect my philosophy — and vice versa?
The New Moon closely aligns with Saturn and Venus in Sagittarius, and Mercury is still retrograde in Sagittarius as well. This spurs us to question our assumptions. Ask yourself: What fundamental assumptions do I make about others? About life itself? Love? My relationships? What does my direct experience show me?
Take a look at your conditioning and programming too: What messages did I receive from my parents, teachers, religion, and culture? How does my actual experience differ from what I was taught? Where do I still follow old programming, rather than listening to the wisdom of my heart and soul?
Saturn is in its last degree of Sagittarius and is therefore exalted at the time of the New Moon; it will move into Capricorn until 2020, a little less than two days after this New Moon becomes exact!
This heightens the universal request for us to take responsibility for our own perceptions and attitudes towards life — to take a good look at our horizons and think again — but this time, with maturity and realism. It directs us to discard outdated beliefs and determine our own indicators for progress, truth, and fulfillment.
Ask yourself: What do I see from where I stand? What is my understanding about life? How has my perception of myself and my life changed in the last three years?
If you want to know how Saturn’s journey in Capricorn will impact you personally in the next three years, feel free to purchase my 90+ minute webinar on the subject, click here or for a quick preview check out this 30-minute excerpt of the webinar
The Sun and Moon in Sagittarius also trine Uranus in Aries and square Chiron in Pisces.
The Trine to Uranus connects excitement to our vision for the future and our willingness to try something new and break away from “old” outdated ways of doing things. You could ask yourself: What if I took 5% more responsibility for my own reality? It ways could this be the key to creating a better future?
The Square to Chiron, aka the “Wounded Healer”, is asking us to take a closer look at any old wounds and memories of shame or separation. If we get triggered, we can look to see where in the past the trigger originated; then, as best as we can, bring compassion and understanding to that wounded, shamed, or abandoned part of ourselves.
As humans, we experience pain, shame, and separation, but can heal through the unconditional love and self-acceptance of the spirit-human alliance. Ask yourself: What might be possible if I was willing to just “be with” my insecurities and past wounding, without needing to fix them? What if my attempts to fix them was what was actually keeping me from seeing the divine perfection of it all?
Rather than looking to be saved, we are learning to ultimately embody our own divinity — to realize that we are all divine beings, and to live accordingly, knowing that everyone and everything is connected.

As the ruler of Sagittarius, Jupiter features strongly in this New Moon chart; the planet is currently in Scorpio, making a trine to Neptune in Pisces and squaring the Moon Nodes.
Jupiter’s Trine to Neptune supports the opening of our heart and mind to spiritual realities beyond the borders of our previous understandings. Neptune represents unconditional love — this is not based on personality or preference, but on the remembrance that we are all one with the Cosmos, eternally exploring and evolving.
Neptune in Pisces asks us to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).
Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to glance past our filters and glimpse the truth of who we are?
Jupiter in Scorpio also squares the Moon Nodes in Leo/Aquarius, asking us to share our deepest secrets, in order to help transform past traumas. We are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, to gain a new perspective, to explore different avenues, leading to different outcomes, especially in regards to our intimate relationships, our ability to connect on a deep emotional level, and in regards to sharing our resources with others.
We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we want to focus on having more fun, joy and self-expression in our lives; on the other, we are asked to expand and learn about our inner experiences, our deeper issues — and to find a new perspective for who we are deep down, then communicate and share this, so we can shine consciousness and light on it.
In order to get to a place of greater joy on an individual level, one where we truly feel grateful for our lives, we need to first transform our perspective on old traumas and other deep issues from our past.
If this New Moon had a core message, it would be: Honor old patterns and struggles while releasing your attachments to them. As best as you can, provide yourself with compassion and understanding — embrace your humanity in all its extraordinary capabilities and in its healing capacity. Ask yourself: Why am I here? Where am I going? What beliefs call out for reassessment? What do I believe — and what do I simply “know”? Where do I need to take a leap of faith… or simply trust?
Be open to shifting your perceptions. Where have I made assumptions? Which one of my “filters” could I do without for a while, just as an exercise in freedom?
Keep looking at what needs to heal and keep taking responsibility for the “deeper” issues in your life. Where am I being challenged to “be with what is”? What does “spiritual maturity” mean to me? Again, feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 1:30am until 8:10am EST Monday morning (Dec. 18th); and then again from 8:33am EST on Monday (Dec. 18th) until 1:30am EST Wednesday very early morning (Dec. 20th).
Monday at 8:10am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 23 minutes, until 8:33am EST. Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term projects that involve a truthful perspective or an adventure into the truth. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Monday at 8:33am EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it’s still transiting through Sagittarius until Tuesday late evening, making this a great time to take a long, last look at our belief structures, explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at the “meaning of life”.
As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life — as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?
Tuesday (Dec. 19th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Monday morning for details). If you haven’t set your New Moon Intentions yet, today (Tuesday all day) is still time to do so during the most potent time… If you’d like some input on how to do that, check out this article — you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video
Tuesday at 11:49pm EST, Saturn changes signs from adventurous, truth-seeking and enthusiastic Sagittarius to practical, accomplishment-oriented and responsible Capricorn, where it will journey until Dec., 2020 (except for the period between March and July of 2020, when it will temporarily move into Aquarius, giving us preview of what’s to come beyond Capricorn).
Saturn feels quite comfortable in Capricorn, as that planet “rules” this earth sign; you might say that Capricorn and Saturn have a lot in common and understand each other. Here are some key characteristics that apply to both:
Building long-lasting structures, diligence, effort, persistence in the face of no immediate rewards (i.e. deferred gratification), resilience, achievement, ambition, being goal-oriented, planning ahead, self-discipline, a mature, realistic approach, patience, hard work, integrity, manifestation through consistent application, setting heathy boundaries, focusing on what’s within our control, taking our time, slowing down, karma (you reap what you sow), working towards becoming an authority of some kind… You get the idea 🙂
So, between now and Dec. 2020, we are invited to look for practical applications for our ambitions. We may well be firming up our long-term goals — this transit is a time to focus on building a secure foundation in our professional lives.
Saturn in Capricorn also reminds us that in order to build or bring forth our visions, we need to look at the practical implications — we need to slow down and take our time, if we are to manifest something that can withstand the test of time — something that is of value to society, not just to a few.
However, before we can know exactly what path to take, we must know where we currently stand — we have to be realistic about “where we’re at” to know what steps to take.
It’s a time when we are working hard, taking on our fair share of duties and responsibilities, and either reaping some of the rewards of our hard work or facing the consequences of poor choices. We are invited, individually and collectively, to apply our newly refined ethics and life perspectives in a healthy and productive way.
Think back to the period between Nov. 1988 and Feb. 1991 — the last time Saturn made this journey: What did you accomplish back then, in regards to long-term goals, or the building of healthy foundations in your life? What area of life got a lot of your attention and focus in those days? Where did you have to apply yourself and have patience?
By the way, if you were born during that time period, you will experience your first “Saturn Return” within the next three years… (and if you were born between January, 1959 and January, 1962, you’re coming up on your second Saturn Return).
If you want to know how Saturn’s journey in Capricorn will impact you personally in the next three years, feel free to purchase my 90+ minute webinar on the subject, click here or for a quick preview check out this 30-minute excerpt of the webinar.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn or Aquarius? If so, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious and mature.
Also on Tuesday, Mercury starts to slow down (station) in 13/14 degrees of Sagittarius, in preparation to come to a halt on Friday (Dec. 22nd) — ending its 3-week retrograde phase. This station will last until Dec. 27th, and during this time, we will feel Mercury’s energies more strongly.
Pay attention to anything “in your face” in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to make adjustments once Mercury is moving direct again (to be more precise, during the shadow phase that follows — for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
For the next 8 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere — and that goes for the journey itself, too — especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.
Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Jan. 10th, when the shadow phase is over.
Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 13-14 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces.
Wednesday (Dec. 20th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 9:29pm EST (see Monday morning for details).
Wednesday at 10:37am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 10.5 hours, until 9:29pm EST. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment — and on the other, a desire to break free and rebel against obligations.
As best as you can, take some breaks, and “let your freak flag fly” — just for a moment — and revel in it! As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday (late morning until late evening) ahead of time 😉
Wednesday mid-afternoon, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 2:10pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday night on; it will remain strong until this Friday evening. This aspect asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth and finances. If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.
We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically though, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are being asked to do some healing work. As best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It’s ok.
If you get triggered by someone, as best as you can, take it as an opportunity to see where this trigger originated — probably in your childhood. Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are, and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced; it wants to move through us and out.
The more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place. As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might change, if you had 5% more compassion with yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 21-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Wednesday evening, a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:13pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday night on; it will remain strong until this Friday evening. This aspect helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual in romance and finance. We are ready to experiment — but not to commit. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize.
This is an especially good time for financial undertakings involving any of the following: technology and the internet; metaphysics; the arts; group activities. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, this could be a good couple of days for the stock market indexes…or at the very least, an unpredictable one 🙂
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Wednesday at 9:29pm EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Saturday late morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Thursday (Dec. 21st): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Thursday at 11:28am EST, the Sun changes signs from optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius to practical, accomplishment-oriented, status-oriented Capricorn. This also marks the shortest day of the year (in the northern hemisphere) and the beginning of Winter — aka the Winter Solstice.
The Solstices are important turning points that take place twice a year: They are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season to come through. Solstice Points are thus extra-potent times to set intentions and take part in ceremonies.
The Sun will journey through the sign of Capricorn until January 19th. Capricorn is a feet-on-the-ground, eyes-on-the-prize sign. As the Sun travels through it, we take a realistic, grounded approach to life; we know how to do things, and how to get things done.
We have a stronger sense of society and its structure, and feel most secure when doing our part within that structure; as such, worldly recognition may take on more importance for us. Making plans for the future can be very effective right now. We are more risk-averse at this time but we are ready to work hard and focus on what is essential.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more cautious and practical than usual…working towards a realistic long-term goal might be just the thing for you to do.
Thursday late afternoon, a Sun/Saturn alignment in 0 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 4:08pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will remain strong until this Sunday. This alignment brings a more serious tone to our commitments with our long-term goals — it’s a time when we are called upon to “get real”.
This is especially true for long-term projects that require diligence and self-discipline, but also applies to anything that requires consistency and a mature approach. We are motivated by the desire to manifest tangible results. We are able to focus and work hard right now, especially if we have a goal in mind, welcoming a sense of discipline, structure or order.
Recommended at this time: making new commitments to old goals, taking care of our responsibilities, making careful use of anything that’s within our control
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or any personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces or 0-3 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you may feel the effects of this alignment more strongly.
Also on Thursday, Uranus begins to slow down — it will come to a complete halt on Jan. 2nd, prior to starting its direct motion again after its 5-month retrograde phase. We will feel this station until Jan. 14th; until then, anything connected to Uranus’s energy will come into our awareness quite strongly; we are faced with this planet’s message.
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 3.5 weeks.
Friday (Dec. 22nd): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday at 8:51pm EST, Mercury comes to a halt in 13 degrees of Sagittarius, and slowly starts its direct motion, after its 3-week retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its shadow phase…more on that later.
We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective. What did you learn about your inner dialog over the past 3 weeks? How might you share your findings in a healthy way with others? What needs to be addressed around your beliefs, perspectives, and attitudes towards life and other people?
When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Dec. 27th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 11-15 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces.
As you may recall, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) This particular shadow phase ends on Jan. 10th. Saturday (Dec. 23rd): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 9:42am EST (see Wednesday evening for details).
Saturday at 5:13am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 4.5 hours, until 9:42am EST. This is an intuitive time that presents an opportunity to connect to innovative ideas and unique world-views — so if you can, connect with like-minded people and explore something new.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday morning ahead of time 😉
Saturday at 9:42am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Monday evening.
Sunday (Dec. 24th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Saturday late morning for details).
Sunday at 9:48pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 21.5 hours, until 7:27pm EST (Monday evening). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to your higher Self, and if possible, bring a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans — especially those you feel really passionate about.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday night and Monday Day ahead of time 😉
A head’s up for next Monday (Dec. 25th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 7:27pm EST (see Saturday late morning for details). At 12:26am EST, Venus moves from Sagittarius into Capricorn where it will journey until January 18th 2018. In early afternoon, a Venus/Saturn alignment in 0.5 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 12:55pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday on; it will remain strong until this Thursday. At 7:27pm EST, the Moon moves into Aries, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

Forecast for Mon., Dec. 11th – Sun., Dec. 17th, 2017
For me, the theme of last week was very much connected to the Mercury/Saturn conjunction: more work than play, a serious focus on achievement, and a realistic approach…
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
In last week’s FORECASTING FORUM, we talked in great detail about Saturn changing signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn (its own sign), where it will journey until Dec. 2020!… Feel free to check out this 30-minute excerpt — enjoy!
If you want to know how Saturn’s journey in Capricorn will impact you personally in the next three years, feel free to get the mp4-video presentation. To purchase this 90+ minute webinar, click here
This week’s headline items: Chiron, though no longer retrograde, is still stationing all week; Mercury is still retrograde all week. Saturn will be in 29 degrees of Sagittarius all week (this is the last degree of the sign). The Balsamic Moon phase begins on Thursday morning and the New Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Sunday night.
There will also be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday morning (for 1.5 hours), and Thursday evening (for almost 23.5 hours).
Monday (Dec. 11th) at 12:01am EST, the Moon moves into relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning.
Chiron in Pisces is no longer retrograde, but is stationing all week, and Saturn will be in 29 degrees of Sagittarius all week — the last degree of that sign — this means that both of these planets are exalted all week. Our focus is directed to the healing process around our relationship to intuition and our emotional sensitivities — and we are also directed to take a long, last look at our belief structures.
Ask yourself: Do the stories I tell myself about life open my heart and mind? Do they make me more loving or more fearful? Do they enrich my life or narrow it? What is “truth” — does it exist? What is my truth?
What might true acceptance and kindness look like towards myself, others, and the world at large? What if a compassionate approach to my inner healing process actually benefited me and others?
Tuesday (December 12th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday very early morning for details).
Tuesday evening, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 21º of Sagittarius becomes exact at 8:49pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will remain strong until Wednesday night. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.
With this alignment taking place in Sagittarius, we may feel particularly rushed or impatient, but it may not always serve us to get stuck on being “right” or insisting on things going faster.
We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact; so, as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?
Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — our egos may therefore get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have different opinion and that’s ok.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)
Wednesday (Dec. 13th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 8:59am EST (see Monday very early morning for details).
Wednesday at 7:27am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 1.5 hours, until 8:59am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to collaborate with others and bring a new level of focus and authenticity to your exploration of life.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening and night ahead of time 😉
Wednesday at 8:59am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday evening. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Thursday (Dec. 14th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Wednesday morning for details).
Thursday late morning, Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon enters 11.5º of Scorpio. This lasts until Sunday night/Monday very early morning, when the New Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact (more on that later…however, feel free to watch my video on the subject
We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.
This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Thursday at 8:42pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 23.5 hours, until 8:07pm EST (Friday evening). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday evening and Friday Day ahead of time 😉
Friday (Dec. 15th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio and VoC until 8:07pm EST (see Wednesday morning for details).
Friday morning, a Mercury/Venus alignment in 18º of Sagittarius becomes exact at 9:09am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until this Sunday evening. This is an excellent time to share about bravery, acts of heroism, physical activities, sports, new adventures or endeavors, ourselves, our personal goals — or anything we feel passionate about — and also about any teaching endeavors connected to those areas.
This alignment supports communicating from a passionate heart — and in fact, it becomes essential to connect to people with whom we feel a strong affinity. We wish to form those connections in a spirit of harmony, directness and equality. In fact, we tend generally to have a strong sense of fairness at this time, and want to be around people who share this passion.
We also thoroughly enjoy the written and spoken word — literature, wordplay, puns, moving conversations — especially when these words speak of something new (or courageous).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-21 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly; the same is true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Libra or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)
Friday at 8:07pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Monday morning (Dec. 18th). We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Friday late evening, a challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 10:46pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday night on; it will remain strong until Monday evening (Dec. 18). This asks us to stretch ourselves and expand from within. We might feel less confident about who we are, and have a hard time projecting a social “front”. Our conditioned mind and wounded feelings may be out of harmony with each other.
As best as you can, take this as an opportunity to make space for feeling vulnerable or emotional without seeing yourself as weak or “less than”. It is perfectly ok to have feelings and feel insecure once in a while; as best as you can, bring compassion and love to yourself and others. After all, we are all human…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 21-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, or Gemini? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).
Saturday (Dec. 16th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday evening for details).
Saturday morning, a harmonious Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:28am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday night on; it will remain strong until Monday evening (Dec. 18). This aspect connects us to a strong energy field — physical and metaphysical. We feel alive, we want to create a better future for ourselves and others, and we want to have fun doing it. Watch out for messages from the Universe 🙂
Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people. We can celebrate (and leverage) our idealism and unorthodox approaches to life’s challenges. What if you expressed what’s uniquely “you” without apologies? What if you did it with authenticity and pride? And, looking at things from a different angle: What might be possible with a bigger network of like-minded people?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 21-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will feel more blessed by this planetary connection than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Sunday (Dec. 17th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday evening for details).
Sunday early morning starts with lots of mental energy and an adventurous attitude.
Towards the late morning/mid-day, we still have lots of energy at our disposal, plus a desire to connect with others and have some adventures. Physical exercise or activities with others are great ways to channel this energy.
Towards the later evening, we may need to make some adjustments again. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to heal past wounding or insecurities.
You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself.
Sunday late evening: we might find ourselves wanting to connect with like-minded people, so we can share our enthusiasm and vision for life with them.
As Sunday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact, this is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.
Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.
Sunday night/Monday very early morning at 1:30am EST, the New Moon in 26.5º of Sagittarius becomes exact. I will write in more detail about this New Moon in next week’s forecasts — for now, feel free to watch my video on the subject
A head’s up for next Monday (Dec. 18th): The Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 8:33am EST (see Friday evening for details). Monday very early morning, at 1:30am EST, the New Moon in 26.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. At 8:10am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 23 minutes, until 8:33am EST. At that time, the Moon moves into Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

Astrology Forecast for Mon. Oct 2nd – Sun. Oct 8th, 2017
Last week for me was all about spiritual and emotional healing and growth. This quote from Viktor Frankl resonated with me: “The way in which a man accepts his fate and all the suffering it entails, the way in which he takes up his cross, gives him ample opportunity — even under the most difficult circumstances — to add a deeper meaning to his life.”
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Very last chance to sign up for my FORECASTING FORUM, this Friday at 12pmPT/ 3pm ET/8pm BST (London-time). Please note that we will look at Jupiter changing signs from Libra to Scorpio on Oct. 10th and moving through this powerful sign until Nov. 2018, in relationship to our own birth charts.
If you would like to join live, you must register at least an hour before the live event starts (before 11am PDT/2pm EDT) — if you register after that time you will receive an mp4-video presentation of this event.
This week’s headline items: the Full Moon in Aries becomes exact on Thursday afternoon; Pluto’s energy remains exalted all week (its station phase ends on Oct. 10th). There will also be four
Moon VoC phases: Monday late morning (for a little over 3 hours), Wednesday very early morning (a little over 13 hours), Friday evening (almost 1.5 hours), and Sunday late morning (12 hours).
Monday (Oct. 2nd): the Moon remains infreedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 10:26am EDT. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it’s typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates — preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.
For the next couple of days, we’ll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs… indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.
The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren’t pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.
Monday at 7:13am EDT, we enter a
Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3 hours until 10:26am EDT. Use this intuitive time to fulfill your need for future exploration — and allow for others to contribute new perspectives.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time 😉
Monday at 10:26am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon.
Tuesday (October 3rd): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Monday late morning for details).
Tuesday mid-afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:09pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will remain strong until this Saturday. This aspect brings a fruitful and rewarding period in our lives. We experience new depths of intimacy (with an existing or new partner), we learn to appreciate the important people in our lives, and our value system transforms and evolves.
This is likely an excellent period for finances as well. Work we’ve done might pay off, and we are able to manage our finances better, with more attention to detail, planning and strategy — as well as the elimination of anything that no longer serves us. We might renew a commitment, or bring new, deeper and more intimate energy into a relationship under the influence of this aspect.
Our sexual lives might get a real boost now, as we tend to want to connect on a deeper level. We might find ourselves strongly attracted to someone, almost to the point of obsession. If this aspect connects with any of your personal planets, you might just meet the “love of your life”.
One thing is for sure — relationships experienced now are bound to be unforgettable. While this transit tends to signal new or strengthened relationships, any relationship that ends during this cycle may leave us feeling liberated.
Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Wednesday (October 4th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 4:40pm (see Monday late morning for details).
Wednesday at 3:19am EDT, we enter a
Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 13 hours until 4:40pm EDT. We are pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a desire for inner silence, emotional oneness, and the flow of creativity through us. On the other hand, we want to explore our belief structures and how they relate to the outside world.
We may therefore feel anxious or restless; as best as you can, slow down, acknowledge what is, know that all is well in each “now moment”.
Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday Day ahead of time 😉
Wednesday at 4:40pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Friday evening. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive.
If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact on Thursday afternoon).
Click here to watch my Full Moon video
Wednesday late evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:09pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday night on; it will remain strong until Thursday night. This aspect feels “internal” — inner unease and awkwardness — and we need to make a choice. Given that it is an internal issue, we need to develop an inner awareness, if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
Our energy tends to be unrealistically directed — and our sense of self may actually change as we learn that we have wrongly assessed important situations. Our self-trust could takes a hit at this time.
Due to our high ideals, we may take on more than we can physically handle — if we start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at the overall direction we are taking. Do your best to rest and have quiet time alongside your interactions with others.
It is also worthwhile to look for how our ideas are being received by others: Can we involve them in creating/realizing our dreams? Perhaps we are not sure whether we want to keep dreaming our dream privately, or share it with others… As best as you can, slow down: where there is spaciousness, there is flow; where there is flow, there is effortless creation.
Do you have your Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-13 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules of Leo; Neptune rules Pisces)
Also, tomorrow (Thursday all day) and Friday before 2pm EDT, is your last chance to sign up for Friday’s FORECASTING FORUM. Please note we willaddress Jupiter’s journey through Scorpio in relationship to our own birth charts. If you want to know how this is going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video presentation.
If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 2pm EDT on Friday you will receive the mp4-video presentation of the webinar.
Thursday (October 5th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).
Thursday early afternoon, a Venus/Mars alignment in 19 degrees of Virgo becomes exact at 12:53pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday (Sept 30th) on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Oct 10th). This is a very passionate combination: action and receptivity, assertiveness and allowing. Please see the Full Moon entry for more on this aspect…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees ofVirgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)
Thursday afternoon, at 2:40pm EDT the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 13 degrees of Aries. We started to feel this aspect when the Moon entered Aries on Wednesday afternoon. Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body” increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored.
Feel free to also watch my video on the subject
The Aries/Libra polarity directs that awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles, perhaps even redefine them.
In particular, it brings the focus to “independence”: Where do we need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Where have we been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited?
This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Where in your life is one of these out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?
Something else to bear in mind about this Full Moon: not only is the Sun in opposition to the Moon in Aries, it is also aligned with Mercury in Libra.
This is a call for exploration of loving, equal, mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships — and a good time to resolve conflicts, especially within our one-on-one relationships: What is calling to be resolved?
That said, the strongest message of this Full Moon is definitely that healthy relationship with our own inner feminine and masculine energies. What if you already knew how to experience this balance?
Mars (the ruler of Aries) and Venus (the ruler of Libra) are both currently in Virgo, closely aligned, squaring Saturn in Sagittarius, opposing Chiron in Pisces, andtrining Pluto inCapricorn.
So let’s talk first about the Venus/Mars alignment in Virgo: this indicates a marriage of courage and collaboration, inviting us to allow the masculine (active/doing/asserting) and feminine (receiving/allowing/being) to work together and be of service to each other. We have a chance to express our needs, passions, and desires now in more effective ways and are more likely to get things done well.
Given that this combo is taking place in Virgo, we prefer to take a realistic approach to things, aiming all our passion and love toward excellence, and enjoying the details. We definitely also have a desire to help and serve others rights now.
Things to watch out for though: sweating the details, worrying, and being extra-critical of ourselves and others when something doesn’t get done “right”.
The last time we experienced this alignment was back in Nov. 2015: Was there a new beginning back then, in regards to how your feminine and masculine energies operate and collaborate? What has shifted for you since then?
Mars and Venus square Saturn in Sagittarius; this combo invites us to stretch and grow.
We are learning to live life in moderation… and this might be frustrating at first, if we develop the sense that we don’t have “enough” (experiences, knowledge, expertise, success, etc…) What’s more, Virgo’s perfectionism might also make it difficult to know when it might actually be “enough”.
Ask yourself: What if I was inherently already (and always) enough? Would that knowledge allow me to step off the merry-go-round?
How might it benefit me to slow down and take it one step at a time? What hasn’t been said yet? How could I communicate that from a place of maturity and self-responsibility — without being rigid?
Mars and Venus oppose Chiron in Pisces: We are asked to embrace the “power of love”, that comes from allowing ourselves to be human and accepting our limitations — loving ourselves “because” of all that, rather than “despite” it.
Chiron is supporting us with healing and the integration of issues around the feminine/masculine balance that we all need to feel whole, that helps us to function better out there in the world. This is definitely a favorable time for practicing forgiveness, both towards others and toward ourselves; what if, in fact, there was nothing to forgive? What if everything were already forgiven?
We are invited to deeply appreciate the partnership with the Earth and all of life. Ask yourself: What am I able to feel when I tune into all of life around me? How can I bring a kind and loving approach to myself as I allow myself to experience human frailty?
Mars and Venus trinePluto in Capricorn. This allows for a flow between our actions and ability to be of service, and our collective Soul Purpose of building an empowered society that is emotionally connected to (even passionate about) achieving something great and lasting, that works for everyone.
This is a very practical combo that reminds us we are all born onto a living, breathing entity that is our home and that we must protect and nourish, if we want to continue being supported by its resources. What might being of service to my own body and the body of the planet I live on look like? How might this approach bring about a better future for generations to come?
Pluto in Capricorn, still exalted in the sky until Oct. 10th, squares the Full Moon and Mercury in Libra… This is also a “stretch aspect” — it invites us to connect to ourselves from within, even though there is so much that pulls us into other directions.
Aries & Libra are both extroverted, social signs — and Pluto in Capricorn asks us to feel fully empowered in the world. In order to do that, we need to first bring empowerment to our emotional body and get clear about what we need on that level, vs. what we want (i.e our desires.
Ask yourself: How might I be able to strengthen my connection to the wisdom of my body? To my inner roots? What activities might help me feel more grounded and safe in the world? How can I nurture myself to the point that I am at once connected to others and yet completely independent? What would it look like to stand in my power and grow and evolve with the support of others?
Pluto represents our deepest empowerment process — it’s where we face our worst fears, own our shadow (all that has been suppressed or denied), and align with our divine purpose. We may feel impatient (or even obsessive) right now about our career goals. Suppressed desires may surface and demand action.
What am I most scared about, when it comes to my accomplishments? Am I allowing myself to listen to the deepest calling of my Soul?
As best you can, choose words carefully, speaking from a deeply connected and empowered place. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Ask: could I nurture myself — mentally, physically and emotionally — such that I feel safe and loved? Maybe like a healthy parent cradling a baby…?
Some more questions you can ask yourself: Could I let go of wanting to control another’s experience? Could I allow myself to have productive discussions rather than controversy? What might complete honesty and transparency make possible? What does mutual empowerment look like to me?
There is also a Jupiter/Uranus opposition in Libra/Aries. This asks us to be brave — willing to take risks, explore new alternatives, access our courage and think outside the box.
This also generates lots of core energy and enthusiasm, inspiring us to break free from conventional, outdated social structures, especially the roles we play. We might need more independence in our relationships. As best as you can, use this energy to initiate new, exciting relationships — including the “relationship” with yourself.
What does “new and unexpected” look like to me? How could I generate change without discounting input from others? Could I allow myself to be with what I see, without acting impulsively or erratically to force change?
As Jupiter moves into the last degree of Libra, it’s energy becomes more exalted; it is getting ready to leave this sign of balance, equality and justice. You could say it is about to have its last hurrah in “maybe this, maybe that?” Libra, before it moves into all-or-nothing Scorpio on Oct. 10th for a little over a year.
We will address Jupiter’s journey through Scorpio in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 6th. Feel free to join us; I especially recommend it if you have Scorpio or Sagittarius as your Sun, Moon or Rising-sign.

To sum it all up for this Full Moon: We are in a critical phase of our spiritual growth process, in which we are asked to release all that is holding us back… This means dysfunctional and restrictive relationships, addictions and negative habits, thought patterns — and possessions that take up too much of our time, effort and sense of inner abundance. As best as you can, see this an an opportunity; allow, rather than resist 😉
And if nothing else, do your best to remember that we all signed up for this journey to become a spiritual, fully human adult that exists in an ever-expanding, multidimensional realm of physicality… not always an easy feat…
Take a deep breath and allow yourself to see the irony and paradox of “life”. And, as best as you can, take responsibility for your thought forms, remain curious and nurture yourself, dig deeper to truly understand your own emotional needs, so you can connect to others and yourself from a place of strength and autonomy. This is especially true for those of us with personal planets or points in 10-15 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer (the personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars; personal points are the Ascendent or MC).
Friday (October 6th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Ariesuntil 7:56pm EDT (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).
Friday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Neptune aspectbecomes exact at 1:44pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday night on; it will remain strong until Saturday. This could contribute either to some mental confusion and spaciness, or the need to communicate with others from our imagination (but possibly not knowing how to achieve that).
This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, sort of “awkward” — and we need to make a choice. Sometimes, imagination and mind can run way ahead of what is actually feasible (and sensible). At these times, the grand vision is best served by focusing on the next concrete step, accepting our own idiosyncrasies as we go.
Honesty is crucial here, especially self-honesty; inner awareness is in turn crucial to deep honesty and authenticity. What’s true for you? What might be possible for humanity? Where do those overlap?
Note that I say “overlap”: Don’t look for an exact fit, this is more like two puzzle pieces that came from different jigsaw puzzles. You might keep looking at the imperfect fit and feel a nagging sense that something doesn’t make sense… and it doesn’t — it can’t. The pieces are not from the same game. Just do your best to “hang out” with the discomfort, rather than repeatedly trying to figure it out and fix it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-13 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces)
Friday before 2pm EDT, is your very last chance to sign up for today’s FORECASTING FORUM.
Friday at 6:38pm EDT, we enter a
Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 1.5 hours, until 7:56pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance asserting your unique spark with your desire to collaborate. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Friday at 7:56pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Sunday late evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉
Saturday (October 7th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Friday evening for details).
Saturdayafternoon, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach.
On Saturday evening, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: We may want to have some peace and quiet, while at the same time, feeling the need to connect with others. How might a balance mental and physical approach support us right now?
Sunday (October 8th): the Moon remains in steady, peacefulT aurus until 9:44pm EDT (see Friday evening for details).
Sunday morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspectbecomes exact at 8:54am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Oct. 10th). It asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves in our relationships up to this point — a process of maturing that requires we adjust and stay flexible.
On the one hand, we want to improve our relationships in a very practical way, thinking our way through things in detail. On the other hand, we feel a sharp need to explore “the larger truth” about ourselves and others — to determine what beliefs align with our own direct experience. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.
We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it. The key is to approach things with an open heart, clarity and maturity.
Rigidity or pushing doesn’t usually get us what we want: Sometimes, it’s better to go one step at a time; that way, we can come back later with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 19-26 degreesof Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Sunday at 9:45am EDT, we enter a
Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 12 hours, until 9:44pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with others in earthly ways and support each other with practical issues. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday all day ahead of time 😉
Sunday late afternoon, a Sun/Mercury alignmentin almost 16 degrees of Libra becomes exact at 4:54pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will remain strong until next week Thursday (Oct 12th). This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.
Given that this alignment takes place in Libra, we may be particularly indecisive — do your best to not get stuck out of a need for justice, fairness, or social harmony.
We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact, so as best as you can, choose your words wisely.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)
Sunday at 9:44pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until this Tuesday late evening.
**************
A head’s up for next Monday (Oct. 9th): The Moon remains in chatty, versatile Geminiall day (see Sunday evening for details). Monday morning, a challenging Mercury/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 8:26am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday.Monday evening, a challenging Sun/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 8:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will remain strong until next week Thursday.More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept. 25th – Sun., Oct. 1st, 2017 – If I had to choose a quote that encompasses what last week was like for me, I would go with: “When the mind is in a state of uncertainty the smallest impulse directs it to either side.” — Terence, ancient roman playwright
This week’s headline items: on Monday, it’s time to take actions on our New Moon Intentions, the first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Wednesday late evening, Pluto comes to a halt on Thursday afternoon (ending it’s retrograde phase), and finally, Mercury changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Friday evening.
There will also be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday morning (for a little over 5 hours), and Friday evening (for almost 4.5 hours).
Monday (September 25th) at 12:01am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon.
Monday late morning, a challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 10:36am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect asks us to stretch a little, to grow and mature. Watch out for misunderstandings or rigid thinking, not only when it comes to interacting with others, but also when it comes to your own inner dialog.
On the one hand, Mercury in Virgo wants us to communicate in a practical and precise manner… On the other hand, Saturn in Sagittarius reminds us that before we can think about what we want to create or bring forth, we need to look at the larger picture and get to the core of what we believe life is truly about, right here, right now — not what it was 5 or 10 years ago. What is actually so?
As best as you can, find creative ways to connect to the details, while remaining committed to the exploration of your true beliefs. What is life really about? What is yourlife about?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-25 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
If you set your New MoonIntentions last week Wednesday or Thursday, soon after the New Moon became exact, Monday will be a great time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?
Tuesday (Sept. 26th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday very early morning for details).
Very early Tuesday morning: we may need to make some adjustments; as best you can, honor both your need for adventure and the exploration of life, versus your need to get it “right”, or at least to improve your daily routines.
You may also feel a pull between introversion and extroversion, or simply fast and slow; be as kind to yourself as you’re able. There are no mistakes, no “bad” decisions…
Tuesday evening: we get the sense that we must take more responsibility for how we feel and make a commitment towards a greater truth — greater than our conditioning — so as best you can, slow down and take a look at the stories you tell yourself on a daily basis. Do they help you manifest your long-term goals?
Wednesday (Sept. 27th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 12:24pm EDT (see Monday very early morning for details).
Wednesday at 7:08am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 5 hours until 12:24pm EDT. Use this intuitive time for connecting to like-minded people and learning something new about your unique self. Here’s a question to ponder: How wide could your vision for humanity become?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time 😉
Wednesday at 12:24pm EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Friday night/Saturday very early morning.
Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it’s transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures — and those stories we tell ourselves about “what was”, rather than what actually “is”. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at the “meaning of life”.
As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life — as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not? This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact later this evening).
Wednesday evening, a Mercury/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 6:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until Saturday. We have a chance to balance our ability to think and speak clearly with our emotional wounding and insecurities.
This aspect may play out in a relationship, with each of you living out one side of the equation. We may experience guilt or shame around something we said or didn’t say.
If you feel triggered by someone else, or vice versa: as best as you can, bring compassion and kindness towards both of you. Ask yourself: Is this connected to my past and/or upbringing? What if this were an opportunity to embrace my wounded inner child with love and kindness?
Do you have your Ascendent (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo).
Wednesday late evening, at 10:54pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 5 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Capricorn, earlier today at 12:24pm EDT. The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn makes a challenging aspect to the Sun inbalance-seeking, relationship-oriented Libra.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week, on Sept. 20th, the New Moon in Virgo became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 3-7 degrees of Capricorn, Libra, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Thursday (Sept. 28th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Thursday very early morning, a long-term Jupiter/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 12:25am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from September 10th on; it will remain strong until October 10th. This is the third exact opposition since the end of last year;it was also exact on Dec. 26th, 2016 and March 2nd, 2017. Think back to those times… what needed your attention?
This opposition is part of wide T-square that also involves Pluto. Since Pluto is exalted at the time of this opposition, we will definitely be feeling the energy of this wide T-square. Click here to read my article on the subject — or email us at info@AstrologerCoach.com and write “T-Square” in the subject line — my assistant will email you the article 😉
Back in January 2011, we experienced a Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in 27 degrees of Pisces: What seeds of change got planted in your life back then? Which of those seeds have sprouted and flourished? Which might need a little extra something to help them bear fruit?
This aspect is an invitation to stay open and flexible in regards to our interactions with people. Our beliefs around justice and cooperation could be challenged. We are asked to create balance between personal freedom and progress, versus harmony and exciting new connections with others.
We seek to free ourselves of restrictions, obligations, and responsibilities; it’s definitely a restless time, socially and personally. We may be motivated to make changes or adjustments to personal goals or relationships. Whatever form it takes, we are inclined to try something new and unexpected, something that could make a difference, something meaningful.
It may be true that something does indeed need to change (socially or otherwise); however, we need to step back, see the bigger picture, not rush into anything. As best as you can, keep taking actions without burning any bridges, even if it seems that you are not making any progress. Above all, be open to feedback from others during this time — this is important, because sudden or rash movements might backfire.
What does “new and unexpected” look like to you? How can we accomplish change without discounting input from others? What if we could allow change without aggression? One last thought: take it one moment at a time, there is no need to rush anything 😉 Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to be uncomfortable, just for this transition phase?
If you missed our last FORECASTING FORUM, feel free to buy the mp4-video presentation of this wonderful event. We talked about the Jupiter/Uranus Oppositionin relationship to our own Birth charts.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, Cancer, or 0-1 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Thursday late morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9:55am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until Friday. This aspect also operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
It can be hard to make decisions under this influence, as we tend to doubt our perceptions, or our problem-solving ability. It may also be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate, leading to misunderstandings: we tend to feel uncomfortable — a sort of “inner itchiness”.
As best as you can, give yourself time to respond, allow your breath to ground you — and forgive yourself if you make mistakes — after all, you are human 😉
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Also on Thursday (at 3:36pm EDT), Pluto comes to a halt in almost 17 degrees of Capricorn; going direct, after completing its 5-month retrograde phase (April 20th – Sept. 28th). Pluto’s energy will continue to move more slowly until Oct. 10th.
When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 10th).
During the retrograde phase, we had a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within — and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us.
For the last 5 months, we’ve needed to tap into inner authenticity, embracing all of ourselves: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Now we can bring this inner authenticity to the outer world: We are ready to let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that were holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.
Whatever we have intuitively learned about our inner passion, inner strength and Soul’s purpose, we are now ready to bring to the outside world. This deeper connection is going to serve us in our journey towards authenticity. We can now build long-term goals that are in alignment with our Soul’s purpose. Ask yourself: What do I “just know”, deep down?
If you missed our last FORECASTING FORUM, feel free to buy the mp4-video presentation of this wonderful event. We talked about thePluto Station in Capricorn (getting ready to go direct)in relationship to our own Birth charts.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Friday (Sept. 29th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Friday evening, a Venus/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 8:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until Monday (Oct. 2nd). We are ready to dissolve anything that we valued in the past that no longer serves either ourselves or humanity.
Our relationships might feel confusing or disappointing, they might even be some of the things “dissolving” — but this is helping us get more connected with our inner knowingness, or our inner sensing of what feels “right”. Compassion may play a big role in our interactions.
This also might not be the best time to start a new relationship, as we have the tendency to idealize others, leading to disappointment down the line. As best as you can, find your inner balance with what’s real and what’s not… and allow others to be human, limitations and all 😉
Financially, we may want to invest in creative or spiritual endeavors that include others, but hold off on buying anything concrete or practical until after Oct. 2nd.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 9-15 degrees of Pisces, Virgo,Sagittarius or Gemini ? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Friday at 8:14pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 4.5 hours until 12:40am EDT (Saturday very early morning). You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment — and on the other, a desire to explore your relationships and collaborations.
As best as you can, take some breaks, and find some balance with this. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday night ahead of time 😉
Friday at 8:42pm EDT, Mercury changes signs from practical and discerning Virgo to harmony-seeking and diplomatic Libra, where it will journey until October 17th. Mercury in Libra changes the way we communicate and think. We are more likely now to see things from multiple points of view and to think in abstractions, this helps us be objective.
We have a strong sense of justice and look for ways to make compromises. We speak and act diplomatically; this comes from our desire for harmony, peace, win/win outcomes. We feel better when we are not pressured into making quick decisions. Very probably, the two things we will most avoid at this time are confrontations and emotional intensity.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for justice and fairness. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Libra? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks.
Saturday (Sept. 30th) at 12:40am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until until Monday late morning.
Sunday (October 1st): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).
Sunday evening, a harmonious Mars/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 7:36pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until Friday, October 6th. This aspect brings a powerful ability to pursue and accomplish our objectives. We are able to see more clearly where we are heading and where we want to commit.
Our vitality and energy levels are at a high point. We are most likely feeling ambitious and dynamic right now. Our recuperative powers are excellent and our health is robust. We might feel inspired to build up our physical strength during this astrological influence, and this is a good idea — we can develop greater endurance and vitality now, which will rejuvenate our body.
This is definitely a strong energy for steady, practical, down-to-earth work on a project. It is also quite a sexy combination. As best as you can, leverage this powerful mixture of energies to go after the things you have been wanting for a while now… and as Pluto is involved, use it all to fulfill on your Soul’s purpose.
Anything that we feel deeply passionate about and that feels in complete alignment with our deepest core, is very likely part of our Soul’s journey. What moves you? What turns you on? Not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level? If you had all the resources that you needed, what might you choose to manifest?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Ariesor Scorpio (Mars being the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)
*****
A head’s up for next Monday (Oct. 2nd): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 10:26am EDT. At 7:13am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3 hours until 10:26am EDT. At that time, the Moon moves into Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

by Sonja Francis | Sep 17, 2017 | Astrological Forecasts
Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept. 18th – Sun., Sept. 24th, 2017 – The beginning of last week was a real challenge… I felt jetlagged, cranky, tired and impatient. No doubt connected to the Mars/Mercury conjunction in Virgo, not to mention it was opposing my natal Mars…
This week’s headline items: early Monday, Mars opposes the degree of the Feb. 26th Solar Eclipse, while Pluto’s station intensifies later in the day. On Tuesday, Mercury’s shadow phase ends and Venus changes signs. The New Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning. The Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Friday, marking the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning (for 4.5 hours), Friday morning (for a little over 4.5 hours), and Sunday very early morning (for 20.5 hours).
Monday (September 18th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Leo until 12:52am EDT. In the very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 12:27am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening.
This aspect brings a breath of fresh air to our relationships. We have an easier time expressing our uniqueness — or you could also say: allowing our inner dork, geek, wacko or nerd to come out and play a little more freely. Whatever is in there, we are less afraid to be our authentic selves — and group activities or shared interests with like-minded people can also be especially fulfilling at this time.
On a financial level, we may gravitate towards investing in the new and unusual — space travel, radio/sound waves, computers, the internet — anything like “futuristic” has a chance to be quite popular and in demand. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time because we’re likely just “dabbling” — so, all things being equal, this could potentially be a good couple of days for the stock market indexes 🙂
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, or 0-1 degree of Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Monday at 12:52am EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.
Monday around 3:28am EDT: Mars opposes the degree of Feb. 26th Solar Eclipse when it reaches 8 degrees of Virgo; it will stay in that particular degree until tomorrow (Tuesday), 9:30am EDT.
We may experience something that resonates back to that time, most likely something to do with our relationship to inner divinity or intuition. We are invited to develop sharp clarity in our decision-making process and to take actions that bring us closer to what truly works for us.
Observe how this plays out for you today: What are you looking to integrate? What are you most aware of? What actions might clear the way, so you can move forward powerfully with an open heart and clear thinking?
Also on Monday, Pluto station intensifies until Oct. 7th. It will come to a halt on Sept. 28th in almost 17 degrees of Capricorn.
As I mentioned last week Monday already, when an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 10th).
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 3 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul’s purpose (your deep authentic Self).
Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Tuesday (Sept. 19th) is quite a full day: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday very early morning for details).
Tuesday early morning, a Sun/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 3:32am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday evening; it will remain strong until this Friday. This aspect asks of us to create a balance between two poles: on the one hand, our ability to see all the angles and details — being aware of what works and what doesn’t — and on the other, being able to bring compassion and understanding to each situation.
Our confidence might not be at its strongest at this time. Oppositions can be acted out within relationships: one person embodies one of the energies, while the other person “holds” the energy of the other pole. When this happens, we sometimes experience the opposition as something that the other person is triggering in us.
In the case of this particular opposition, it may be someone poking at our wounds, or pointing out our shortcomings — which brings up our insecurities or secret shame. This may cause us to spin into an emotional place that is not only connected to what is happening in the moment but also connected to our past — to our childhood.
If this happens, as best as you can, locate the original pain or wound — and bring compassion, love, understanding, and forgiveness to yourself (and towards your younger Self). Healing can only take place if we are willing to embrace our flaws and love our most vulnerable places.
Blaming, shaming, attacking and justifying will not heal us faster — it will cause more pain and suffering, within us and around us. How quickly would you like to heal?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).
As you may recall, on Sept. 5th, when Mercury stationed direct, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases as well: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.)
The good news is, the Mercury shadow phase endstoday (Tuesday) at 11:50am EDT. This means that we can finally go ahead and book those plane tickets — or buy that new car or iPhone (or anything else communication- or transportation-related). We can also more easily take in new information, so teaching, sharing and learning will be more effective. Click here to read my blog on the subject.
Tuesday at 9:15pm EDT, Venus changes signs from playful, fun-loving Leo to detail-oriented, practical Virgo. She will journey through that sign until October 14th. For the next three and a half weeks, our relationships are going to be put under the magnifying glass. We are more likely to want to make our relationships work in real terms.
We need to feel of service to others; we love to help, especially in a practical, down to earth kind of a way. This might also be a great time to acknowledge the people in our lives who take care of those little, daily details and make our lives easier 🙂
On a social level, we might be more shy during this time — less confident — and most likely too busy to uphold our social commitments. On the financial side of things, we may want to invest in our health — especially around healthy daily routines — and anything that makes life run more smoothly on a practical level. Things that aren’t so practical, sensible and “just plain right” may leave us feeling uneasy.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more shy and possibly busier than usual for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want to be of service to others. Being healthy and having a healthy partner is important now. If you are a Virgo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Tuesday late evening, a Mercury/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 11:50pm EDT.We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday evening on; it will remain strong until this Friday. This connection is asking us to balance logic and intuition (left vs right brain). On the one hand, we have strong intuitive connections… on the other, the struggle to focus could lead to confusion or wishful thinking.
We are more inclined to daydreaming, fantasizing and imagining things; this can lead to some frustrating communications. As best as you can, use this aspect to create spiritual connections — or something beautiful, imaginative or inspiring to others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-16 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces(Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Tuesday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact. This is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days has passed after the New Moon.
Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.
Wednesday (Sept. 20th): the Moon remains indetail-oriented, practical Virgo until 6:06am EDT (see Monday very early morning for details).
With this New Moon in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, we have the opportunity to learn about being of service. We can also expect to learn more about what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving daily routines, getting organized, and taking care of health matters.
This will also be a great time to begin new projects that demand attention to detail, list-making, and taking pride in “small” accomplishments. We might start a new health regimen, perhaps by paying close attention to our diet, we could also set up specific routines that help us manage our lives in constructive and mindful ways.
This is all about handling the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion so that we can free our minds of clutter. What would clear the decks?
Another way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: As best as you can, recognize that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.
Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, is in its own sign at the time of the New Moon; its energy is therefore exalted — matters of the mind will be experienced more strongly.
Mercury remains in Virgo until Sept. 29th; this gives us extra time to recognize where we have ignored important symptoms, feelings, or hunches — and to eliminate the unnecessary and/or dysfunctional.
Ask yourself: What does my mind chatter say? Is it helpful? Can I absolutely prove that what it is saying is true beyond a shadow of a doubt? Does it help me move forward?
Mercury exits its shadow phase the day before the New Moon becomes exact, so we’re ready to take in new information and move forward with anything that has been “on hold” since the Mercury retrograde of Aug. 12th through Sept. 5th.
Ask yourself: What in my life is calling out to be resolved? Where am I now able to clearly decide? Where do I still need some more information?
Mercury and Mars in Virgo oppose Neptune in Pisces. This configuration is asking us to find a balance between understanding the facts, and heeding our intuitive knowingness. We are being invited to explore beyond the details and put our trust in the universal process and universal timing — that said, impatience might be part of this Mars/Mercury alignment in Virgo, so allow for some downtime and inner connecting with your inner divinity.
Ask yourself: How can I best connect to the subtle messages of my body and soul? What if I placed the mind in service to those subtle messages? What actions could I take that would connect together the heart and mind energies?
This New Moon is also making an opposition to Chiron in Pisces. We are invited to look at our healing process — what might be possible if I could see this from more than one vantage point?
We are being asked to balance two apparently “opposing” drives: on the one hand, for organization and practical improvements in our lives; on the other, the need for emotional and spiritual healing. As best as you can, embrace the way of life that is emerging — one that is more meaningful and holistic.
We are also invited to pay closer attention to our thinking and to bring a more holistic approach to our day-to-day functioning. Ask yourself: What needs healing? Forgiveness? Understanding?
The word “heal” comes from the same root as the word “whole” — healing reunites what was separated, through acceptance and integration.
Ask yourself: What cries out to be made whole in my life? How might I connect all the levels of my being — physical, mental, emotional and spiritual? What if compassion and understanding were the perfect tools? What if “Love” were the ultimate Healer? More about this aspect can be found in Tuesday’s entry (Sept.19th)
Saturn in Sagittarius is not only squaring Chiron in Pisces, it’s also squaring the Sun and Moon in Virgo — making it the focal point of a T-square.
Squares demand a shift in perception and direction. This one is also asking us to find creative solutions that stem from our “inner authority” in connection with what we believe to be true about ourselves and about life — indeed, what is true or false in general.
“Slow and steady” wins the race here — and it’s critical to keep checking our beliefs and keeping up our emotional and spiritual connections. As best as you can, be honest with yourself about your own limitations, and your expectations towards others and life in general.
Ask yourself: What attitudes keep me out of alignment with my own humanity and my world? What if I took a break from convincing others? What if connecting to my inner truth was enough? What might humility do for me?
This T-square exposes the high price of giving our power to the biggest delusion of all: “we are all separate”.
Of course, in order to heal and feel the interconnectedness of all of life, we have to transcend dogmatism and denial, guilt and blame, martyrdom and victimhood. What might a healthy, realistic approach toward my sensitivities and insecurities look like? The best way to uncover our personal answer to this question is by checking our inner dialog and looking realistically at our conditioning, our attitudes towards life, ourselves, others, society, etc.
This can start with a set of simple questions: What is true right now? What works? How is that different from what was true 10 or 20 years ago? How can I release “old” dogmas? Could I stop “waiting to be saved”? What role does guilt play in my perception of life? How do I communicate my thoughts to others? Do I actually communicate them?
Uranus in Aries quincunxes the New Moon: An unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. One of my favorite sayings comes to mind: “Correct and continue”… The fact is, we might detect nervous or anxious energies moving through ourselves for the next serval weeks…
Ask yourself: If I let myself be really flexible, how flexible could I be? What might taking a deep breath do for me, right now? What needs to be shifted internally, so I can stay open and aligned with my unique, divine Self?
Jupiter in Libra makes an opposition to Uranus in Aries (it will be exact on Sept. 27/28th). It also makes a “wide orb square” to Pluto in Capricorn.
This combo calls on us to uncover the real issues in our relationships and deal with them authentically; sudden insights or surprises are likely.
Ask yourself: Where do I need to entertain new possibilities when relating to others? What’s out of balance? What if I looked at relationship as a mirror? How could my own perceptions of others and assumptions be the cause of my problems within my relationships?
As best as you can, find creative solutions and be completely honest with yourself and others; the best way to achieve this is by the continuous practice of self-care and self-nurturing! The more fully we can take care of our inner life, the more we can authentically and realistically engage with the outside world. It starts with a pair of simple questions: What am I feeling? What do I need?
The more honest we can be, first and foremost with ourselves, but also with others, the more likely we can make the progress we seek on a deep level. As best as you can, check to see if your intentions are inspired or fearful — remember, deep, authentic love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within. Contrast that with Fear, which causes “Force” or “Walls” to show up — it is ultimately what disempowers ourself and others.
Here are some coaching questions to ponder: When I notice that I’m operating from fear or self-protection, could I simply allow myself to be with that, without judgment or criticism — just simply embracing my own humanity? What might be possible if I was “ok” either way — with fear, without fear?
Pluto is slowing down (“stationing”)as it prepares to come to a halt on Sept. 28th. We are going to feel a stronger desire to confront our fears (consciously or unconsciously); this might ultimately uncover some of our hidden gifts and strengths.
We need to ask ourselves: Where am I holding on out of fear? Where are emotional attachments and needs for protection holding me back? If I wasn’t coming from fear, what might I be connected to instead?
The message of this New Moon is loud and clear: When I align my perspective and beliefs to who I am now, I can overcome anything — I have the strength to do what it takes, be a responsible being in my own right, and keep my mind and heart open in every moment of now… no matter what shows up.
Also, again this month, in connection with the New Moon, my dear friend Krista Mitchell, who is an amazing Spiritual Author, Crystal Teacher, and Mystic, has recorded a Guided Meditation that is custom-tailored to this New Moon’s energies. Her Meditations are designed to give you some extra support and guidance for each Lunar cycle and come out twice a month!
If this resonates, go to Krista’s website: www.krista-mitchell.com I have done many guided mediations with Krista, and in my humble opinion, she is TheBest!
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this extra-powerful New Moon more strongly.
So this month, the best time to set intentionswould be between 6:06am EDT Wednesday morning (Sept. 20th) and 1:30am EDT Thursday night/Friday morning (Sept. 21/22nd).
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Wednesday and Thursday throughout the day, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉
Part of the reason for this is that on Wednesday at 1:30am EDT, we enter a 4.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC), this lasts until 6:06am EDT. Use this intuitive time to simply be still. Connect to your body’s wisdom, pamper yourself and others; do your best to articulate for yourself what you need in the moment.
Surprisingly, this will actually help us get organized in our daily routines — and of course, it will be a tremendous help in healing our emotional wounds. Finally, as always during VoC, take it easy — go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time 😉
Wednesday at 6:06am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Friday afternoon.
Wednesday morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:21am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will remain strong until Thursday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness. Please see the New Moon entry for more…
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Thursday (Sept. 21st): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday morning for details).
Thursday early morning: we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet?
Friday early afternoon, we may need to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand we need to collaborate with others and play nice, on the other hand, we feel a deep desire to be authentic and truthful about what we want to build long-term.
Thursday late evening: we have an opportunity to connect with others for collaboration and an exploration of our beliefs about life.
Thursday all day: If you haven’t gotten around to it yet,set your Intentions for this Moon cycle… If possible, align them with the New Eclipse energies that I spoke about in my last video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon 😉
Friday (Sept. 22nd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 1:40pm EDT (see Wednesday morning for details).
Friday at 9:04am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 4.5 hours until 1:40pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for equal and harmonious connections with your drive toward personal passions and a healthy “self-relationship”.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday ahead of time 😉
Friday at 1:40pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Sunday night/Monday very early morning.
Friday afternoon, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 2:01pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will remain strong until Sunday. Our words and our “speaking” are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others.
We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations around long-term goals. We investigate our own thought structures in a very realistic, focused way, and look to see what needs to be communicated next.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degreesof Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio)
Also on Friday, at 4:02pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from practical Virgo to harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Oct. 23rd. This signifies the beginning of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere of this planet. The Fall Equinox is a energetic turning point from one season to the next. Equinoxes are super potent times for setting intentions. They are energetic gateways, where we experience the inter-relationship between light and dark, inner and outer, spirit and matter.
With the Sun entering Libra, we are being called to pay attention to our relationships. Bringing equality, cooperation and balance to our dealings with the world is recommended during this time. We have a keen awareness around issues of justice and we are more likely to take a stand against injustice, especially when it’s directed against others.
However, we also want to keep the peace, so we may use language and our intellect to diplomatically address such issues. We can see all sides of a situation — and therefore it’s not always easy to make the “right” choices. Our desire for harmony is great; more often than not — consciously or unconsciously — we may find ourselves seeking the approval of others.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Libra Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Libra, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more aware of the delicate balance that is required internally and externally in your life.
Saturday (Sept. 23rd): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpioall day (see Friday early afternoon for details).
Saturday early morning, a somewhat challenging Jupiter/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:28am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Sept. 26th).
This aspect operates on an internal level: We feel uneasy or awkward, and need to make a choice. We thus need to develop inner awareness around balance, harmony and cooperation. Part of what makes us “uneasy” is that we must also extend this awareness to our inner wounded child.
There is an emphasis on our societal and individual beliefs around relationships, and on optimistic and excited connection to others. At the same time, we need to find the time for compassionate and loving self-connection — for healing our emotional and spiritual wounds through an inner awareness of unconditional love and faith.
By remaining flexible and making inner adjustments, we can bring clarity (rather than judgment) to both of those energies, and thereby explore them on a deeper level. What if we directed optimism out to others — and love and compassion to ourselves?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-27 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius)
Sunday (Sept. 24th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Friday early afternoon for details).
Sunday at 3:33am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 20.5 hours until 12:01am EDT (Monday, Sept. 25th). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others (and with yourself) on an authentic level. Could you permit yourself to trust others and communicate what you observe?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your whole Sunday ahead of time 😉
Sunday late afternoon: a Mars/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 3:49pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Friday (Sept. 29th). This aspect asks us to find a balance between “doing” and “being”. It could be a confusing time if we don’t allow intuition to guide us. We may also feel de-energized at times, if we are trying to do too much.
We may not feel as organized as we think we should be; we may miss things that normally would be pretty obvious to us. We also might have a hard time expressing our anger or asserting ourselves, therefore passive-aggressive behaviors are likely to occur.
We can lose our bearings during this opposition, so as best as you can, go with the flow, have faith and let your heart guide you — and have compassion for yourself and others. Selfless service and quiet time will both likely work out well.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-16 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)
*****
A head’s up for nextMonday (Sept. 25th): At 12:01am EDT, the Moon moves into Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon.Late morning, a challenging Mercury/Saturn aspectbecomes exact at 10:36am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Sept. 27th). More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept. 11th – Sun., Sept. 17th, 2017 – Last week was somewhat shortened for me by Monday’s holiday and my Friday trip to Portland to attend an Astrology conference. It’s funny how a short week can be just as busy and sometimes more condensed than a regular week…
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
If you missed our FORECASTING FORUM last week, feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation of this wonderful event. Please note that we talked about the Jupiter/Uranus Opposition and the Pluto Station in Capricorn (getting ready to go direct later this month) —in relationship to our own Birth charts.
This week’s headline items: a 4-week Pluto station begins on Monday, the last Quarter Moon in Gemini becomes exact early on Wednesday. In addition, there will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday until 3:29pm EDT, Wednesday afternoon (for almost 4 hours), Friday early evening (a little over 3 hours), and Sunday evening (almost 4 hours).
Monday (September 11th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 3:29pm EDT. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions to the seeming conflict between your needs around practical matters/finances, versus those around experiencing more joy and being more playful.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday Day ahead of time 😉
Monday at 3:29pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…
The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂 This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Wednesday early morning).
Also on Monday, Pluto starts to slow down (station), preparing to come to a halt on Sept. 28th after its 5-month retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted in the sky for the next 4 weeks…until Oct. 10th.
When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 9th).
Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness — and to our deepest passions.
It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or “death” into “rebirth”. Those terms don’t necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.
To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new — something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.
When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity — and feel a newness and empowerment from within.
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 4 weeks.
12th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Monday afternoon for details).
Tuesday evening, a harmonious Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:50pm EDT.We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will remain strong until this Friday evening. This signals a time when we don’t take connections with others lightly; we are more attracted to long-term commitment than to “casual”.
We feel a strong sense of responsibility to loved ones and see ourselves generally as responsible and trustworthy. We have increased sensitivity to the needs of others. Mutual respect and loyalty become especially important to us at this time; this can strengthen and refresh old friendships too.
We bring more maturity, respect and integrity to interactions — and this is a good time to approach “elders” and authority figures for their input. This doesn’t have to be “solemn” though: What if you could connect playfully to yourself and others through your “inner adult”?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-25 degrees of Leo, Sagittarius or Aries? If so, you will be blessed by this aspect more than others. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra orCapricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Wednesday (Sept. 13th): The Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 6:12pm EDT (see Monday afternoon for details).
Wednesday very early morning, at 2:25am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 20 degrees of Gemini becomes exact. We started to feel this from the moment the Moon entered Gemini on Monday afternoon.
The Moon in curious, chatty Gemini makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in practical, detail- and service-oriented Virgo. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon in Virgo (exact on Sept. 19/20th).
During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Aug. 21st — as opposed to launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since then? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-22 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Wednesday at 2:35pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 4 hours until 6:12pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday afternoon ahead of time 😉
Wednesday at 6:12pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Friday evening.
Wednesday late evening, a challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 10:58pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will remain strong until this Sunday (Sept. 17th). We’re asked to stretch and grow beyond what we have known ourselves to be — we are urged out of our comfort zone, towards a higher truth with ourselves and others.
Find creative ways to honor your well-being and your desire for going above and beyond for your long-term goals. Allow your mind to be clear and calm even if life puts up roadblocks or throws curveballs. Simplify daily routines as much as you can.
What if you simply knew that you could handle whatever shows up? Would you rather have your old programming… or more clarity? Would you rather have inner and outer clutter, or inner and outer clarity? Where do you need more information?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-22 degreesof Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Thursday (Sept. 14th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day(see Wednesday evening for details).
Thursday afternoon, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored.
In the later evening, we may take an all-or-northing attitude toward others; this could drive some tension or oppositional behaviors… As best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others.
Friday (Sept. 15th): The Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 9:09pm EDT (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday mid-afternoon, an opportune Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:44pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will remain strong until next Sunday. We have an opportunity to grow in our social and personal relationships at this time. Humor and caring play a big role in our interactions with others. In our dealings with loved ones, we can call upon tolerance, optimism and cooperation.
All things being equal, financially speaking, things are “looking up”; we may have opportunities now to expand our pocketbooks — if we make sound decisions that are in the interest of everyone involved.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-26 degrees of Leo, Libra, Sagittarius or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Friday at 5:23pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3.5 hours until 9:09pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations.
Make space both for going after personal projects that you feel passionate about and for taking care of emotional or family issues. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening ahead of time 😉
Friday at 9:09pm EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Monday very early morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them.
Saturday (Sept. 16th): The Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Friday evening for details).
Saturday afternoon, a Mercury/Mars alignment in 6 degrees of Virgo becomes exact at 3:01pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will remain strong until Monday (Sept. 18th). This alignment might speed up our thinking (and possibly also our driving 😉
We communicate with curiosity, enthusiasm and energy, especially on the subjects of health issues or reform, the organization of our daily lives, refining our understanding of how something functions — and anything connected to nutrition and wholesome diets. We seek the very heart of a subject.
Something to be aware of: We may take things a little too personally. This defensiveness could make it challenging for others to engage in healthy dialogue with us. We may focus too much on ourselves and get attached to being “right” over being happy.
As best as you can, observe and discern, rather than judge. Consider all the facts. If you find yourself becoming impatient, draw a deep breath into your lower belly, and feel the the breath soothing and clearing your mind…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in3-9 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries(Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries).
Saturday evening, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 12 degrees of Leo. This lasts until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, when the New Moon in Virgo becomes exact (more on that next week…however, feel free to watch my video on the subject after Sept. 15th) We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition.
Sunday (Sept. 17th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Friday evening for details).
Sunday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 3:17am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will remain strong until Monday (Sept. 18th). This aspect operates more on an internal level; we feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward and have a choice to make. The internal nature of this demands inner awareness.
The “awkwardness” may be felt in social situations; we may be unsure whether to seek admiration and love, or turn inward to lick old wounds. We must make a choice regarding a personal relationship, a purchase, or our self-image. The good news is, by embracing our own humanity, we might be able to create some healing for ourselves and others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-28 degrees of Leo or Pisces? Or perhaps your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect.
Sunday at 8:55pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 4 hours until 12:52am EDT (Monday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to have fun connecting from the heart. This could also be a great time to express our visions for the future.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening ahead of time 😉
**************
A head’s up for next Monday (Sept. 18th): The Moon remains in steady, peaceful Leountil 12:52am EDT (see Friday evening for details). Very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 12:27am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday evening on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. At 12:52am EDT, the Moon moves into Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. Also on Monday, the Pluto station intensifies in almost 17 degrees of Capricorn.

Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept. 4th – Sun., Sept. 10th, 2017 – Personally, I found last week emotionally, mentally and physically challenging… Seemed like there was so much going on, yet so little progress to show for it. I’m asking myself what else is calling to be transformed? Acknowledged? What else wants to be seen, made conscious? I have to admit, I am exhausted! Did you also feel like the Universe turned up the volume on us last week, so we can see, hear and feel it all more clearly?
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Last chance to sign up for my FORECASTING FORUM, this Thursday at 3pmPT/ 6pm ET/11pm BST (London-time). This week’s headline items: On Tuesday evening, Mars changes signs from Leo to Virgo and Mercury comes to a halt. The Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Wednesday, very early in the morning. Later in the week, Mercury re-enters Virgo (on Saturday, late evening) and the Mercury station ends on Sunday.
There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for 13 minutes), Wednesday afternoon (for 15.5 hours), Saturday late morning (for 30 minutes), and Sunday evening (for a little over 18.5 hours).
Monday (September 4th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusall day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning.
Most of Monday will feel easy and socially active… Good news for those of us who live in the US: enjoy your Labor Day Holiday 🙂
On Monday evening, we may need to find a balance between wanting to belong and fit in, versus wanting to fully, authentically, and joyfully express our individual light.
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:15am EDT, we enter a brief Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 13 minutes until 1:28am EDT. If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to take a break — and allow for a balance between pursuing your vision and following your playful heart in the present.
Also on Monday night/Tuesday very early morning a Sun/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 1:28am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will remain strong until this Friday. Having a balance between logic and intuition — between what we know and what we feel — is essential at this time. We need to gain clarity over our dreams and come to understand that we can only improve our current situation through forgiveness and love.
The mind will play an important role during this time: Provided they make sense to you, choices that connect you to your heart will help you succeed. It’s also important to give up being “right” and thereby allow flow. As best as you can, trust your intuition and practice self-compassion 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Tuesday (Sept. 5th) at 1:28am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Thursday morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact on Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning). Click here to watch my Full Moon video
Tuesday at 5:35am EDT, Mars changes signs from fun-loving, risk-taking Leo to detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo, where it will journey until Oct. 22nd. With Mars in Virgo, we are more inclined to put our energy towards a project that takes care of our day-to-day, practical matters or health issues.
Creating order in our daily lives and knowing what’s coming next is easier for us now. We are better at organizing, planning on a short-term scale, and doing errands at this time. We may feel that we do things better than others right now; therefore we may not give others a chance to improve their skills or show us a different way of doing something.
As best as you can, keep the focus on yourself and watch out for impatient outbursts or for the need to be right at all cost. Be of service to others, and remember that perfection is not a goal, it is a journey. How can you move towards improving things in your life, rather than having things be perfect all the time?
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more focused on details and health issues. If you are a Virgo Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized and passionate for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise, a work or health project might be advisable.
Tuesday at 7:29am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in 28 degrees of Leo, and slowly starts its direct motion, after its 3-week retrograde phase.
What needs to be addressed with regards to daily routines/health routines or self-expression and joy?
When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Sept. 10th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0-3 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces
As you may recall, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) This particular shadow phase ends on Sept. 19th. Click here to read my blog on the subject.
Tuesday early evening, a somewhat challenging Venus/Neptune aspectbecomes exact at 5:33pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
A lot of this discomfort centers around “unrealism” — we tend to idealize romantic and financial interactions, but at the same time, our sense that we’re doing exactly that leaves us uncomfortable. This applies to ourselves too; it’s easy for us to incorrectly appraise who we are, and where we’re going.
We might also get confused when we can’t complete things. The key is genuine self-acceptance (limitations and all): as we allow that, our range of love expression increases.
It’s also worthwhile to look at how our ideas are received by others: Can we involve them in our dreams? As best as you can, slow down: “If a thing is worth having, it’s worth waiting for.” Just for right now, could you simply have faith that everything will align eventually?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-14 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Also, tomorrow (Wednesday all day) and Thursday before 5pm EDT, is your last chance to sign up for Thursday’s FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we will be talking about the Pluto Station andthe Jupiter/Uranus opposition, in relationship to our own birth charts — both of which will be most intense between Sept. 10th – Oct. 10th.
If you want to know how they are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video presentation. Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here
If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 5pm EDT on Thursday you will receive the mp4-video presentation of the webinar.
Wednesday (Sept. 6th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitivePiscesall day(see Tuesday very early morning for details).
Wednesday at 3:03am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in almost 14 degrees of Pisces. The entrance of the Moon into Pisces this past Tuesday morning started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo.
The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition. You may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here
How do we integrate Pisces with Virgo?
This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s detailed, analytical understanding — and Pisces’ call to open our heart and allow for all — even what seems paradoxical to the mind. In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative)
The mind acts like a filtering mechanism that helps us to focus and function more efficiently — but in doing so, it also has to greatly narrow our view and understanding of the world. Ask yourself: What is my mind seeking to change or improve? What does my heart want to open to? What might come through if my heart and mind worked together in unison?
Virgo analyzes. Pisces feels. Virgo seeks physical wholeness, Pisces reminds us of an even greater wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life. Virgo benefits from apprenticeship, while Pisces learns to trust inner guidance above all else; when balanced, we are able to discern without judgment, serve without obligation, and love all of creation (including ourselves).
Virgo’s primary spiritual lesson is discernment. Its shadow side is self-deprecation and judgment, which labels things in terms of “good or bad”, rather than “useful or unproductive”, “works or doesn’t work”, etc.
Judgement of this sort can even be regarded as a subtle form of violence — it creates separation from others and a split within ourselves. It closes our heart and limits our ability to learn. It keeps us stuck in duality, where we defend our position or attack others.
You could say that Pisces is an antidote to judgment. In its highest expression, it understands that we are all souls in various states of development, with different paths in the world — we are all love at our core, and everything is ultimately an expression or variation of love.
The shadow side of Pisces is a lack of boundaries, escapism of various sorts, even victimization. The remedy lies in the higher vibrations of Virgo: the ability to focus on details, make practical choices, and make the best use of our daily engagements. When integrated, we marry a sharp mind with a wise and loving heart.
Ask yourself: Does my inner dialog serve as a support or a distraction? Where could I trust my intuition more than I have before?
The Moon aligns with Neptune in Pisces (Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces). This is a call to extend compassion, acceptance or forgiveness to family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. Unconditional love for our feeling body and our responses towards the world is also very helpful right now.
We may feel more sensitive — more tuned-in to other peoples feelings or suffering — and this gives us the opportunity to experience the full range of all feelings as they arise, and to sense our interconnectedness with everything around us. As best as you can, allow for the flow of all feelings, allow your heart to soften — open to the beauty in that connectedness to “all there is”.
Nature is a wonderful teacher for this; if you start to feel overwhelmed by what you are feeling or experiencing, connect with nature.
Spiritual practice is also wonderful here, of course (meditation, breathing exercises, mindfulness exercises, etc.), as are spiritual/energetic healing modalities like Reiki, “access consciousness bars”, shiatsu, acupuncture, etc. These can all help us tap into the higher vibrations of Pisces (and the Neptune-energy as well).
What else can help us experience our connection to “the all”? The creative flow of dance, singing, music, sound, etc. — and of course, positive emotions such as love, gratitude and compassion.
What tools could you use to shift your view of reality from duality to unity? From separation to oneness? From wanting to understand (mind-activity) to understanding (heart-activity)?
The Moon in Pisces also sextiles Pluto in Capricorn and quincunx Venus in Leo.Surrendering our fears about our position in the world and our achievements gets a little easier; we also have the opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term.
Ask yourself: What might be possible if I heeded the subtle messages in my heart that stir me toward success?
The quincunx to Venus in Leo invites us to adjust our way to an inner balance between some deep, but seemingly incompatible questions: How can I learn about self-love and how to love the world as if it was a reflection of my heart and soul? How can I do that while expressing my unique soul-self, my unique spirit? Where does the inner and the outer experience of love and connectedness meet?
Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces; right now, it’s in Libra, which has us taking a closer look at our relationships — or rather, our beliefs or ideologies regarding relationships — and the balance of feminine and masculine energies within them.
Ask yourself: What are my beliefs or recurring thoughts about equality, justice, and peace? What would self-responsibility add to that? Do I see a balanced life as something that’s possible? How might the expression of joy impact that?
The Sun in Virgo makes a trine to Pluto in Capricorn. During this aspect, we’ll likely find it easier to see more clearly what fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding us back. Ask yourself: How could my discernment and practical decision-making help me manifest my long-term goals?
Mercury is the ruler of Virgo — and it is coming to a halt at 28 degrees of Leo, less than 24 hours before the Full Moon becomes exact, and thus ending the 3-week Mercury retrograde. Its energy is therefore more exalted (heightened) at this time. We are now ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world.
Ask yourself: Where have I gained more clarity in the past three weeks? What did I learn about my inner dialog? How might I share my findings in a healthy way? What needs to be addressed with regards to daily routines? Health routines? Self-expression? Joy? Where is the clutter that obscures the joy?
Mercury is also moving over the degree that the Aug. 21st eclipse occurred in, so pay attention to any messages you get between now and Sept. 8th — these could come through in conversations, books, song lyrics, etc. Ask: What resonates? What brings me the most joy? What enlivens my healthy inner child? What do I want to express? To create?
Chiron in Pisces makes a quincunx to Mercury in Leo,just as it did with the Solar Eclipse two weeks ago; this indicates some inner struggles or adjustments that need to be made. The inner healing continues, even when our attention is drawn back towards the outer…
Ask yourself: What have I learned (and perhaps even gained) from any painful experiences within the past two weeks? What if I tried bringing love and understanding towards those inner wounds or insecurities? What have I been avoiding or rejecting about myself? About life? What if I were to bring just 5% more love to those areas?
What might shift if I allowed myself to be “fully-human” rather than trying to be “super-human”? What would “Kindness” do?
It’s time to forgive and release what’s holding us back, so that we can fully express and share our gifts in the now; the motto of the moment is: Release the past, be present to the present! Love is the most powerful healing force there is, so as best as you can, harness the energy of love, compassion, gratitude and forgiveness! And aim it towards yourself, first and foremost, because what you do for yourself has a ripple effect; it will automatically be felt by others.
A final note: This Full Moon highlights the importance of developing, expressing and trusting our feminine energies. We are invited to allow for the flow of things… Just like the tides, just like our breath, we are invited to allow for feelings/thoughts/sensations to move in, and move out again. When we are scared, we hold tension, and things can not flow.
Ask yourself: What might be possible for myself, if I transformed fearful reactions or judgments into compassionate observation of what is, allowing it to be, giving it permission to move through? What if the greatest gift I could give myself was the liberation of my heart-energies and the shift from separation to the experience of oneness?
For the next two weeks, as best as you can, trust yourself. Listen to your heart. Surround yourself with caring, loving energies. Sift, sort, and simply let go of whatever is cluttering your closet, psyche, or path. And remember: The ability to trust and move with our heart-intuition is the most powerful “weapon” we have in the 21st century. My video about the Full Moon is already posted, click here to watch
Also in connection with this Full Moon, my dear friend Krista Mitchell, who is an amazing Spiritual Author, Crystal Teacher, and Mystic, has recorded a Guided Meditation that is custom-tailored to this Full Moon’s energies. Her Meditations are designed to give you some extra support and guidance for each Lunar cycle and come out twice a month!
If this resonates, go to Krista’s website: www.krista-mitchell.com I have done many guided mediations with Krista, and in my humble opinion, she is TheBest!
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-16 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Wednesday at 4:29pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 15.5 hours until Thursday at 8:01am EDT.
You may also want to plan Wednesday evening and Thursday early morning ahead of time 😉
Thursday (Sept. 7th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 8:01am EDT (see Tuesday very early morning for details).
Thursday at 8:01am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Saturday early afternoon.
Also, Thursday until 5pm EDT, is your very last chance to sign up for today’s FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we will be talking about the Pluto Station andthe Jupiter/Uranus opposition, in relationship to our own birth charts — both of which will be most intense between Sept. 10th – Oct. 10th.
We will address these planetary movements in more detail in relationship to our own birth charts. If you want to know how these energies are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video presentation. Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here
If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close one hour before the live event begins, if you register after 5pm EDT on Thursday you will receive the mp4-video presentation of the webinar.
Friday (Sept. 8th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Ariesall day (see Thursday morning for details).
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 3:23am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday morning on; it will remain strong until Saturday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.
Fear of disappointment is causing some tension. Our inner need for growth requires honesty about what is causing those fears — most likely our own lack of good boundaries and self-esteem. Watch out for getting pulled into overly burdensome roles in other people’s lives, because you feel it is required of you, this can often be a path into “control issues”.
As best as you can, carefully examine your motivations and self-image: How do you feel about your ability to love, be authentic with your feelings and connect on a deep emotional level? What role does fear play in all of this?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-18 degrees of Leo or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Saturday (Sept. 9th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Ariesuntil 12:23pm EDT (see Thursday morning for details).
Saturday morning, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 6:45am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Sept. 12th). This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what is and what is not”, we can make more powerful choices.
We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.
Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now, that no longer serve my evolution? Am I willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degreesof Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Saturday at 11:52am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 30 minutes until 12:23pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to take a break and connect to people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Saturday at 12:23pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Monday afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉
Saturday at 10:52pm EDT, Mercuryre-enters detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will remain until Sept. 29th.Due to Mercury’s retrograde phase, Mercury journeyed through Virgo already once before: between July 25th and Aug. 31st.Think back to that time: What did you communicate to others at that time? What came up in your dealings with others? How about with your inner dialog?
For the next 3 weeks, Mercury — the energy of communication — will focus once again on the details, and on what could improve our lives.
With Mercury in Virgo, we are much more sharp in our thinking. We are able to see things quite clearly and we are more inclined to put our energy towards taking care of day-to-day, practical matters — except for when Mercury opposes Neptune: around Sept. 19th
Creating order in our daily lives and knowing what’s coming next is easier for us now — as opposed to going with the flow/being present/having faith that things will turn out well no matter what. We are better at organizing, writing lists, planning on a short-term scale, and doing errands at this time.
We may feel that we do things better than others right now; therefore we may not give others a chance to improve their skills or show us a different way of doing something.
As best as you can, be of service to others, and remember that perfection is not a goal, it is a journey. How can you move towards improving things in your life, rather than having things be perfect all the time? Could you bring a neutral discernment to what works and what doesn’t?
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini? If so, you may need to get more specific and discerning with your sharing/communicating and the information you are processing 😉
Sunday (Sept. 10th): the Moon remains in steady, peacefulTaurusall day (see Saturday afternoon for details).
Sunday at 8:54pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 18.5 hours until Monday at 3:29pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions to the seeming conflict between your needs around practical matters/finances, versus those around experiencing more joy and being more playful.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to make your plans for Sunday late evening/night and Monday Day ahead of time 😉
Also on Sunday, Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station.Communication and transportation is now back to “normal”, as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc. New ideas and information received during the Mercury retrograde phase (Aug. 12th — Sept. 5th) can now be reviewed. What did you discover about your inner dialogue — especially “your inner critic” — during that time?
A head’s up for nextMonday (Sept. 11th): the Moon remains in steady, peacefulTaurusand VoCuntil 3:29pm EDT (see Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening for details). At 3:29pm EDT, the Moon moves into Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. Also on Monday, Pluto begins its station in almost 17 degrees of Capricorn until October 10th.

Astrology Forecast for Mon., Aug. 28th – Sun., Sept. 3rd, 2017 – Last week was an interesting mix of energetic slowdown, while sustaining my focus for long periods of time — Saturn station, anyone? I could also definitely feel the energetic downloads from the Solar Eclipse and the relentless mind chatter from the Mercury retrograde…
This week’s headline items: Mercury starts to slow down again on Monday (getting ready to end its retrograde phase). The first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Tuesday early morning. Mercury re-enters Leo on Thursday and triggers the Solar Eclipse point for several days. Mars triggers the Eclipse point on Sunday late morning; also on Sunday, Saturn ends its station.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early morning (for a little over 10 hours), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for 3.5 hours), and Saturday afternoon (for a little over 3.5 hours).
Monday (August 28th): the Moon remains inpassionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 3:48pm EDT.
Monday at 5:38am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 10 hours, until 3:48pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.Make space for fun activities as well as the need for deeper emotional bonding with others.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan most of Monday ahead of time 😉
Monday at 3:48pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday early morning.
This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday early morning).
Also on Monday, Mercury starts to slow down (“station”), preparing to come to a halt next week Tuesday, Sept. 5th (when it will end its 3-week retrograde phase). More on that next week…
For the next 13 days (until Sept. 10th), Mercury moves slower than usual; we need to be patient with ourselves and others — especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.
We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready or travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in in 0-2 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini , Sagittarius, or 27-29 degrees ofLeo, Aquarius, Taurus,or Scorpio.
Tuesday (August 29th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday afternoon for details).
Tuesday at 4:13am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 6 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius on Monday afternoon. The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittariusmakes a challenging aspect to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw a powerful New Moon, which was also a Solar Eclipse (on Aug. 21st). If we set some intentions on Aug. 23rd, 24th or 25th, we are now ready to make some adjustments. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
Remember that we are still in Eclipse season (until Sept. 6th) and therefore we don’t have all the information we need to move brand-new projects forward yet. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible/adaptable and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 4-8 degrees of Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Tuesday evening, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself. Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces at 6pm EDT — post for 4:30pm EDT
Wednesday (August 30th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday afternoon for details).
Wednesday late morning: we experience two very different aspects, one after the other:the first asks us to slow down and take a look at the stories we tell ourselves on a daily basis.
The second of the two aspects brings an opportunity to explore one-on-one relationships, perhaps have an adventure with someone, or do something exciting.
Wednesday evening we will have lots of energy and a positive attitude towards life.
Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning at 12:42am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 3.5 hours until 4:18am EDT on Thursday morning. If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it for connecting to like-minded people and learning something new about your unique self. Here’s a question to ponder: How wide could your vision for humanity become?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday very early morning ahead of time 😉
Thursday (August 31st): the Moon remains in Sagittarius until 4:18am EDT (see Monday afternoon for details).
Thursday at 4:18am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Saturday late afternoon.
Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it’s transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures — and those stories we tell ourselves about “what was”, rather than what actually “is”. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at the “meaning of life”.
As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life — as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?
Thursday at 11:28am EDT, Mercury re-enters attention-loving, self-expressed Leo. Mercury journeyed through Leo already between July 5th and 25th.Think back to that time: What did you communicate to others at that time? What came up in your dealings with others? How about with your inner dialog?
Due to Mercury’s retrograde phase, it will leave detail-oriented, practical Virgo for 11 days and re-enter attention-loving, self-expressed Leo, where it will remain until Sept. 9th.
During this time, we are more expressive — even theatrical — and are also more convincing and persuasive, since we exude confidence when we speak or write.
Our mind is more able to connect to our heart, so we tend to feel generous and expressive. This is a great time for gratitude, compliments, connecting to your inner joy and being playful. The only thing that can come between you and your heart is pride; do your best not to put it there.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the need for being self-expressed and playful more strongly. If you have a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you will be more chatty for the next 11 days.
Friday (September 1st): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornall day (see Thursday early morning for details).
Friday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Mars/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 2:02am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until Sunday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.
We might feel insecure about our heart’s desires. What if you could simply allow yourself to be human and know that you are doing the best you can? What if everything had divine timing — no matter how fast or slow?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)
Friday night: Mercury triggers the Eclipse point, as it moves over 28/29 degrees of Leo. Due to its station phase, it will remain close to the Eclipse degree for serval days.
Pay attention to any messages you get between now and Sept. 8th — these could come through in conversations, books, song lyrics, etc. What resonates? What brings you the most joy? What enlivens your healthy inner child? What do you want to express? To create?
Saturday (September 2nd): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornuntil 4:06pm EDT(see Thursday early morning for details).
Saturday morning, a harmonious Mars/Uranus aspectbecomes exact at 8:13am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday (Sept. 6th). This aspect signals a time when our energy level is much higher than usual — among other effects, we may find we can work for long hours without fatigue, or feel “driven”, especially in new and unusual directions.
It could be that we receive backing from unusual sources. In general, our efforts are successful and we scale new heights of originality. As best as you can, stay open to new and unexpected things. Highly recommended: Group activities, group causes and connecting to like-minded people from all over the world.
Do you have your Ascendant (or one or more personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, or 0-1 degree of Virgo, Taurus or Capricorn? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Saturday at 12:30pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3.5 hours until 4:06pm EDT.
You may also want to plan Saturday afternoon ahead of time 😉
Saturday at 4:06pm EDT, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Tuesday very early morning.
Sunday (September 3rd): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinkingAquariusall day (see Saturday late afternoon for details).
Sunday early morning, a Mercury/Mars alignment in 28.5 degrees of Leobecomes exact at 5:38am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until Monday. This alignment might speed up our thinking (and possibly also our driving 😉
We communicate with curiosity, enthusiasm and energy, especially when it has to do with sports, fun activities, games, risk-taking activities, creative engagements, children — and anything connected to love and romance. We get to the very heart of a subject.
Something to be aware of: We may take things a little too personally. This defensiveness could make it challenging for others to engage in healthy dialogue with us. We may focus too much on ourselves and get attached to being “right” over being happy.
As best as you can, appreciate yourself, life and others — and honor your heart. If you find yourself having impatient thoughts and behaviors, draw a deep breath into your lower belly and feel the the breath soothing your solar plexus, bringing you back to your center…
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, or0-2 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries).
Sunday at 11:15am EDT: Mars triggers the Solar Eclipse point. Last week, on Aug. 21st, a Solar Eclipse occurred in almost 29 degrees of Leo. Mars moves over this same Eclipse degree.
Observe how this plays out for you today: What are you looking to do? What’s next? What actions are you invited to take, that move you forward with your heart open and full of joy?
Also on Sunday, Saturn ends its station and resumes its normal pace through the sky. What has come up in the last three weeks around long-term goals? What’s the plan? Now is a good time to move forward with any realizations we have had over the last four months.
We’ve done a lot of internal work on what we want to manifest in the real world and where we want to make moves responsibly and authentically; we now have a chance to bring this to the outside world.
If you are Capricorn Sun-sign our Rising-sign (Ascendant), you will probably feel relief and a sense that you are able to move forward more smoothly and effectively.
A head’s up for nextMonday (September 4th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinkingAquariusall day (see Saturday late afternoon for details). More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

Astrology Forecast for Mon., Aug. 21st – Sun., Aug. 27th, 2017 –
Last week, for me, was a combination of being very focused and busy, while also feeling a deep inner struggle… a sense somewhat of isolation and separation… It was sobering and also a process of maturing. Of course: the Saturn station started last week!
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
A Special Offer: for this month only, get a FREE copy of the entire video-presentation of my most recent Forecasting Forum, when we looked directly at our own birth charts to see how the Eclipses affect each of us for the next 5.5 months.

This week’s headline items: a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Leo becomes exact on Monday afternoon. The Saturn station intensifies on Tuesday and the Sun changes signs from Leo to Virgo that evening. Wednesday afternoon is the best time to start setting our Eclipse Intentions. Saturn comes to a halt on Friday morning, starting to move direct again; and finally, Venus changes signs from Cancer to Leo on Friday night/Saturday very early morning.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for almost 2 hours), Wednesday late afternoon (5 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (a little over 3 hours).
Monday (August 21st): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leountil 4:25pm EDT. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them.
Monday very early morning, a harmonious Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:22am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Thursday (Aug. 17th) on; it will remain strong until this Thursday (Aug. 24th). This aspect connects us to a strong energy field — physical and metaphysical. We feel alive, we want to create a better future for ourselves and others, and we want to have fun doing it. Watch out for messages from the Universe 🙂
Originality and innovation come easy to us, as does connection with like-minded people. We can celebrate our idealism and unconventional approaches to life’s challenges and and take advantage of them. What if you expressed what’s unique about you without apologies — maybe even with authenticity and pride? What might be possible with a bigger network of like-minded people?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 25-29 degrees ofLeo, Aries, Sagittarius, or 0-2 degrees of Virgo, Taurus or Capricorn? If so, you will feel more blessed by this planetary connection than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Monday at 2:30pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 2 hours until 4:25pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to slow down and tune in to the powerful downloads that are coming through right now. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon ahead of time 😉
Eclipses take place approximately every six months; they are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. This particular Solar Eclipseis a totalSolar Eclipse that can be observed in a large part of the United States. It will bring a consciousness upgrade, and a shift that will unfold until the next Eclipse becomes exact in mid-Feb. 2018.
Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that end one 19-year cycle and begin another; they reveal new pathways and possibilities and grant us an opportunity to take what we have learned to the next level.
The Sun and Moon are also connected to one of the Moon Nodes — in this case, the North Node — and North Node Eclipses help us move towards a new exploration of an energy that promotes Soul-evolution.
The last North Node Solar Eclipse in almost 29 degrees of Leo took place on Aug. 21st, 1998. We are likely to experience a resonance between now and that time, 19 years ago — “resonant”, rather than identical — so think back to late Summer, 1998: Were there any major endings and beginnings? What was important back then? If there were a call this time to take those priorities to the next level… Where would that next level find you?
If you’re looking for more guidance on those questions, I would suggest a look at your Natal Chart: The House placement of the Eclipse will indicate which area of life you’re most ready to take to a new level of consciousness.
If that idea appeals, check out my 30-minute class, “How to Read My Birth Chart” — you might also want to purchase the video of the most recent Forecasting Forum, where we looked directly at our own birth charts to see how this Solar Eclipse will affect each of us. Those of us who have natal planets within 5 degrees of the Eclipse will experience more dramatic changes than others …
For this month only you can get a free copy of the entire webinar by signing up for the next two Forecasting Forums (Sept. & Oct.) in advance 😉 Click here to take advantage of that deal
With this extra-powerful New Moon in attention-loving, optimistic, courageous Leo, we have 5.5 months to learn about what brings us joy, and how we have been using our self-expression out there in the world. We can also expect to learn more about what it means to connect to our inner child, about our ability to create, and how we can fully enjoy those moments of creation.
This will also be a great time to begin new projects connected to creative self-expression, fun, taking a risk or being bold and colorful, the enjoyment of life, or projects involving children
Leo is ruled by the Sun, symbol of consciousness and the unique light we came to shine forth in this lifetime. This is what we were born to explore, and in particular to express… Where could you shine your unique light more brightly? What brings you joy? Not just in general… but in this very moment?
Of course, answering these questions is easier if you know where your Sun-sign is in your birth chart… What sign? What house? Again, if you are not clear on where your Sun-sign might be… feel free to check out my 30-minute class, “How to Read My Birth Chart” 😉
Leo also represents our creativity. There are as many ways to be creative and self-expressed as there are “selves” — indeed, we are all creators — we create with every thought, every word and every action.
The Eclipse trines Uranus in Aries, Saturn in Sagittarius and quincunx Chiron in Pisces — all of which are retrograde at the time of the Eclipse.
This Fire Grand Trine indicates that on an internal level we are getting ready to make a quantum leap forward. It’s much easier now to access maturity and responsibility in combination with ingenuity and courage. We are ready to commit to our own happiness and take a playful approach to life.
For the next 5.5 months, I invite you to pause occasionally and ask yourself these questions: What are my special talents? What is the ideal world that only I can see? How might my talents help bring it into being?
How can I express my joy in a responsible way? How can I engage others in joyful activities that align with my inner truth? What would strategic risk-taking look like?
The Quincunx to Chiron in Pisces indicates that we still need to make some inner adjustments around our personal and collective healing processes. What might true acceptance and kindness look like towards ourselves, others, and the world at large?
As Mars and the North Node also align with the Sun and Moon in Leo, we are encouraged to be more aware of our masculine energies: assertion, passion, courage, vitality, directness, etc. What if we were able to access these energies at their highest vibrations?
Ask yourself: What activities could I engage in that would underscore my confidence and challenge me at the same time?
This combo also encourages us both to be brave enough to go after things that align with our heart, and also to engage playfully in joyful activity, we also get an opportunity to engage with our ”inner child” (and children in general).
What have I always wanted to do? Who have I always wanted to be? How do I want to express myself, moving forward? What if, just for right now, just as an experiment, I met life with a courageously open heart?
Mercury is now retrograde in Virgo (its own sign)….until Sept. 5th. This also is an internal process — one that provides a chance to honor and re-organize our thoughts, working from the inside to the outside. It’s time to rethink, retool, and release what no longer works. Our inner critic for one… Take time to investigate your own thought processes…
Ask yourself: What’s not working smoothly in my life? What if I got really clear about that? What if I could release all judgment and bring a neutral approach to everything I observe and discover? Just for the next 15 days…
Mercury’s retrograde phase will trigger the Eclipse point several times. The first time was on July 24th; because of its station phase in September, it will trigger the Eclipse point again, this time for much longer — from Sept. 2nd until 7th. Pay attention to what comes up at that time! Those messages will be important for the coming 5.5 months…
Saturn in Sagittarius is exalted, due to it’s station phase, going direct soon after the Eclipse on Aug. 25th. As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations; Saturn says: understand the practical implications of your reality, and the consequences of your past actions!
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what subject would your personal “Earth class” be in, right now? What is showing up loud and clear? Where might you be asked to look at your beliefs? Stories? Expectations? Where are you asked to get more real about “what’s so”? What calls for a commitment towards a larger truth? What role does “time” play in all of this? What might “realistic possibility” look like?
To sum it all up: This Eclipse invites us to reconnect to what lights us up, to what we love — and to how we want to express that in the world. Even if there might be challenges along the way… it wants us to have the courage to choose a life of joy supported by the framework of self-responsibility.
It also invites us to tap into our healthy masculine by acting authentically and from the heart. What might it feel like to create, not for the sake of achievement or gain, but out of love, joy and fun?
As best as you can, allow yourself to be in a quiet, receptive state on the day of the Eclipse. Better yet, meditate on the days immediately before and after — you could also take walks in nature, or engage in creative or spiritual endeavors — anything that supports going within and tapping into your inner divinity.
If, like most of us, you have other obligations, take 5-minute breaks here and there, if you possibly can — get quiet and be with your higher self. I highly recommend checking out Krista’s Solar Eclipse Meditation; she created this Guided Mediation specifically in connection with my video and coaching questions: www.Krista-Mitchell.com — if you are curious about Krista and our collaboration, I say more about that in my Solar Eclipse video
As I have mentioned already in previous videos, Eclipses are Uranian in nature, and thus times of uncertainty — so anything could happen between now and Sept. 6th. Allow for the new templates to download; stay centered and do your best to ground from within — try using conscious breathing, flexibility — and best of all, see if you can move to the “observer position” when it comes to the emotional and mental body… And remember: this won’t last forever — in another two weeks, the downloads are complete 😉 Again, feel free to also watch my video on the subject
Now let’s talk “Intentions” 🙂
The Solar Eclipse is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this Eclipse cycle — and remember, the cycle runs for 5.5 months. Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact — as we are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
So, wait 48 hours before setting your intentions. On Wednesday, I’ll be talking about setting some powerful intentions, not just for the next month as is usual for a New Moon, but for the next 5.5 months — and I’ll give you the very best times for setting them.
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 24-29 degrees ofLeo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0-3 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? Or do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer? This Eclipse may feel stronger to you… and may affect you more than it does others…
Monday at 4:25pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.
Tuesday (August 22nd): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday late afternoon for details).
Tuesday morning, a harmonious Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:21am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Thursday evening (Aug. 17th) on; it will remain strong until Saturday (Aug. 26th). This aspect brings more self-discipline, maturity, focus, purpose and self-motivation. We tend to be more practical than usual; our progress in most projects may be slow, but it will always be steady.
As you can imagine, this can be a very productive period. We are able to take responsibility for our beliefs and the stories we tell ourselves; we can bring that honesty to the world, walking our personal path with integrity and without apologies.
This is an especially favorable aspect for the self-employed, anyone who works in the sports industry (or any other physical/action-oriented industries, e.g. dance), leaders in the creative field, or the stock market.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Leo, Sagittarius or Aries? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Tuesday evening at 6:20pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from playful, vital Leo into practical, detail-oriented Virgo. It will journey through Virgo until September 22nd. This time is best used for getting our lives in order and expressing ourselves in realistic, practical terms.
Adressing your health (e.g., starting a new exercise or eating routine) might be just the thing within the next four weeks. Being of service and moving towards improving our living conditions are essential Virgo qualities. How might you be of service to others? What needs a little practical improvement?
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Virgo Sun-sign or Rising-sign. Virgo folks will feel extra confident and playful; Leo people are more aware of the details and more grounded in reality.
Also on Tuesday, the Saturn station intensifies until Aug. 30th.“Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to “do” life, on life’s terms.
As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets.
Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious, focusing on building something of value to society… something with a healthy foundation, and a solid structure.
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what subject would your personal “earth class” be in, right now? Where are you asked to look at the belief structures you’ve built over time, to see if they apply to “what’s so” right now? What might a mature approach to your stories about life look like? What calls for a commitment towards a larger truth? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will last until Sept. 3rd; and Saturn goes direct — after having been retrograde for 4.5-month — on Aug. 25th in 21 degrees of Sagittarius (more on that later this week).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn, since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn.
Wednesday (August 23rd): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 9:05pm EDT (see Monday late afternoon for details).
Wednesday after 2:30pm EDT, is also the best time to start setting our powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse Intentions. Like I already mentioned on Monday, with a Solar Eclipse it is best to wait 48 hours after the Eclipse has been exact before setting any intentions, as the energy of an Eclipse is quite intense and we want to wait until the energy settles before setting our intentions.
As always, we also want to avoid any Moon void of course (VoC) phases. So, this time around, the best and most potent time — for setting our intentions — is today (Wednesday, afternoon) until 4pm EDT. If that span of time doesn’t work for you, waituntil 9:05pm EDT — you’ll then have until 2:30pm EDT on Friday afternoon (Aug. 25th).
Make your Intentions powerful: They cover the next five-and-a-half months. If possible, align them with the Solar Eclipse energies that I spoke about in my last video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the Solar Eclipse 😉
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉
Wednesday at 4:02pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 5 hours until 9:05pm EDT. Use this intuitive period to be of service to loved ones, family members, or people you value.
Regular readers know the drill for Moon VoC: as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late afternoon/evening ahead of time 😉
Wednesday at 9:05pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Saturday very early morning.
Thursday (August 24th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Thursday very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 2:00am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will remain strong until Sunday. This heightens compassion and understanding and helps heal some wounds from the past.
We are more willing to be vulnerable, trusting that the other person has our best interest at heart; we also more easily see beauty in human weaknesses, rather than fault — it’s a strong time for seeing potential in one another. What potential do you see?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 24-29 degrees of Cancer, Pisces,Scorpio, or 0 degrees of Leo, Aries orSagittarius? If so, you are more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Thursday mid-afternoon, a challenging Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:01pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This “stretch aspect” asks us to grow beyond what we know and have experienced in the past in regards to our relationships, especially family relations.
Priorities may shift. We may experience clashes of taste or values with our loved ones; as you can imagine, we may feel some instability or restlessness in connection to others. We may also struggle with freedom versus material safety — the latter manifesting as fears around financial goals.
As best as you can, take a deep breath and hold off on decision-making with regards to finances — in particular, it is best to avoid impulse buys at this time.
In general, expect the unexpected: Things may take a different turn when it comes to the truly important. Keep your mind and heart open: if something demands elimination or change, it was waiting for that shift to happen anyway. As best as you can, find creative solutions and stay flexible and adaptable. This is not the best time to take things too personally (but then again, is there ever a good time for that? 🙂
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or 0-1 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio ? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. The same is true for those with their Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Thursday all day: If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, set your Intentions for this Eclipse cycle… Make your Intentions powerful: They cover the next five-and-a-half months. If possible, align them with the Solar Eclipse energies that I spoke about in my last video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the Solar Eclipse 😉
Friday (August 25th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday at 8:08am EDT, Saturn comes to a haltin 21 degrees of Sagittarius, andbegins the process of turning direct — after being retrograde for 4.5 months.
As best as you can during the course of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any sources of frustration. If you can also bring commitment and maturity to what you believe to be true about yourself, others and life, you will feel more grounded in reality.
Over the course of the past four-and-a-half months, we’ve had a change to reassess our limits and boundaries, reclaim our authority, and become more realistic and responsible. It’s time to move forward now — and our progress will be in direct proportion to the amount of “inner work” we’ve done since early April.
Saturn represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments — and also our ability to “do” life on life’s terms. When this planet comes to a halt, we get to see where we need to create or renew commitments. It may also seem like our physical realities have come to a compete halt: Take a deep breath whenever you can, as often as you can (especially today and tomorrow).
Moving forward with our long-term goals will be easier now, as we have more clarity: We can integrate what we have learned over the past 4.5 months and more easily align our inner commitments and goals with the outer world.
Capricorns, Aquarians (whether by Sun-sign or Ascendent) and people with personal planets in 19-23 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Piscesor Virgo will feel a particularly strong sense of relief as Saturn starts to slowly gain speed.
Also on Friday: still time to set Intentionsuntil 2:30pm EDT… Make your Intentions powerful: They cover the next five-and-a-half months. If possible, align them with the Solar Eclipse energies that I spoke about in my last video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the Solar Eclipse 😉
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, at 12:30am EDT, Venus changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo, where it will journey until September 19th.
Venus in Leo changes how we “do” relationships. We’re “in love with love”, so we especially appreciate (and are turned on by) gestures of love and romance. It goes the other way, too: we are warm, affectionate and loyal with those we love and cherish (as long as they show us that they deserve our love). Grand gestures of love and exciting, tantalizing interactions work best. Lavish everyone with compliments (including yourself).
We also want to have fun and express our love for life… and what better way is there to do that than to throw a huge party for everyone we love? And if a “huge party” doesn’t appeal, don’t opt for the couch and the TV: get out there. It’s a good time to take a chance!
“Taking a chance” applies to the financial realm too — especially any ventures related to entertainment, children, sports or the stock market.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more outgoing and confident for the period Venus moves through Leo. Your heart will want to connect and be admired. Creative endeavors will feel satisfying to you. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Saturday (August 26th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 4:53am EDT (see Wednesday evening for details).
Saturday at 1:39am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3 hours until 4:53am EDT. If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to balance your need for equal and harmonious connections with your drive toward personal passions and a healthy “self-relationship”.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday very early morning ahead of time 😉
Saturday at 4:53am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Monday mid-afternoon.We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉
Saturday late afternoon, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 3 degrees of Virgo becomes exact at 4:42pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Thursday. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.
As this alignment takes place in Virgo, we may be particularly judgmental, but it may not always serve us to to get stuck on details or insist on things being perfect.
We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact, so as best as you can, choose your words wisely.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)
Sunday (August 27th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Saturday early morning for details).
Sunday morning, a long-lasting, opportune Jupiter/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Tuesday (August 15th) on; it will remain strong until September 7th. With this aspect, we have the opportunity to bring structure and a responsible attitude to our desire to grow and to expand.
We become more aware of opportunities, and can see the bigger picture; at the same time though, we also understand that there are limits to what we can accomplish. We are capable of establishing the perfect relationship between “looking beyond” and “staying grounded”.
We can also more easily understand that we don’t need to rush in order to grow — we are more likely to think things through carefully and responsibly — in other words, to do our “due diligence”. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us, we have to “take” it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Libra, Sagittarius, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Capricorn(Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
***************
A head’s up for next Monday (August 28th): The Moon remains in Scorpio until 3:48pm EDT. Monday at 5:38am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 10 hours until 3:48pm EDT. At 3:48pm EDT, the Moon moves into Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact Tuesday early morning). Also on Monday, Mercury’s station begins in 0-2 degrees of Virgo/28-29 degrees of Leo until September 10th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉
