On Sept. 7th at 2:09pm EDT, the Sun in Virgo opposes the Moon at almost 15.5º of Pisces.
All Full Moons are striking, but this one is especially noteworthy: a “Blood Moon” Lunar Eclipse. The name “Blood Moon” comes from the Moon’s red coloring during the Eclipse.
The energetic build-up begins when the Moon enters Pisces on Saturday morning, Sept. 6th ==> If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my Lunar Eclipse video — click here.
Since Eclipse are always closely connected to the Moon Nodes, we get to experience either a North Node or South Node Eclipse. This one being a North Node Eclipse, is asking us to make an effort to integrate the Pisces energy, as best as we can, to create a healthy balance between the Pisces-Virgo polarity.
We’ve been in Eclipse Season since Aug. 23rd (the last New Moon), and will remain in it untilOct. 13th (just after the next Full Moon). This corridor is an invitation to awaken, release, and recalibrate.
So the questions here are:

✨ What am I ready to choose for myself when interacting with the world?
✨ Where will I focus my mind? My Heart?

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 15.5 degrees of Pisces:

On August 23rd at 2:07am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 0º23’ degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Now back to the New Moon:
For several nights before and after each New Moon, we are in the dark, transitioning between old and new Moon Cycles.
We are called to turn inward, to be extra-receptive to the messages of our feelings, body, and heart. We are invited to get extra rest, release outdated energy patterns, and realign with our true soul intentions.
New Moons are thus the best time to set Intentions for the 28 days following. I will talk about the best and most potent time to plant some seeds towards the end of this article, so stay tuned!
This New Moon is special for several reasons: it takes place in 0 degrees of Virgo (an exalted degree), and is the first of two consecutive New Moons in the same sign.
The next Lunar cycle begins on Sept. 21st — it is also a New Moon in Virgo and the first South Node Solar Eclipse in this Earth sign in 19 years (to be precise, since September 2006). It occurred at 29º of Virgo — and the one this September will too!
Eclipsescall for physical, mental, and emotional recalibration, providing an opening to move to the next level of our personal and collective evolution.
Eclipse Season happens twice a year and it is usually an unpredictable time. Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical during Eclipse season!
Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and allow affection in from friends, family, or pets.
Anything started from scratch during Eclipse Season will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after the Full Moon that follows the last Eclipse.
If possible, defer any brand-new projects until after October 13th, when this Eclipse season is over. That said, if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic, allow it to come through

On June 11th, at 3:44am EDT,the Full Moon in 20.5 degrees of Sagittariusbecomes exact. We start to feel the Full Moon build when the Moon enters Sagittarius late Monday morning (June 9th).
For the next two weeks, we seek a balance as we become more awareof something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).

Here’s a quick overview of what I’ll discuss in this article:
The Full Moon polarity (Sagittarius-Gemini) squares the Moon Nodes polarity (Pisces-Virgo), creating a dynamic Grand Cross, making this Full Moon a powerful turning point on our journey towards a greater mind-heart integration
The Moon in Sagittarius is also part of a supportive Grand Fire Trine, involving Mars in Leo and Chiron in Aries — bringing optimism, and enthusiasm to our healing journey, creative projects, and explorations beyond our current thinking
Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, moves into Cancer only 35 hours before the Full Moon becomes exact, starting a new 12-month journey through this sensitive, nurturing Water sign.
Jupiter at 0º Cancer (an exalted degree)! aligns with Mercury, the planet of communication, also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini) —and they both square the Saturn-Neptune alignment in Aries — definitely a turning point of some kind, as well as a new beginning
Jupiter is also in a Mutual Reception with the Moon — they are in each other’s sign & support each other’s agenda.
Mercury makes a Sextile to Venus in Taurus, which makes it easier to have social interactions
Venus squares Pluto in Aquarius — this is an “all or nothing” energy, fear, or obsessiveness around finances or relationships are possible here
And lastly, Uranus in Taurus squares Mars in Leo — feels restless, and we are willing to fight for having more freedoms
More about the specifics in a moment, but bear in mind: Full Moons are always times of heightened awareness and culmination. We see things we have not been aware of before and get to make changes if we don’t like what we see.
Think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 26th: What seeds were planted then? What has “sprouted” since? What are you aware of now that was not apparent before?
Before we talk about all of the aspects of this Full Moon, let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:
Gemini deals with information exchange, observation, and objectivity, while Sagittarius deals with what lies beyond thinking — indeed, beyond information — this includes things like interpretation and ethics.
In other words, what do we think, believe, and “really know”? We are invited to become more aware of the difference between facts vs. beliefs, truth vs. fabrication, and meaningful activity vs. diversions.

Back to the New Moon:
One notable facet of this New Moon chart is the planetary line-up in Gemini, involving the Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter!
With this much emphasis on Gemini, we are invited to pay attention to our minds, communications, and any information coming our way.
Gemini is the archetype of curiosity, communication in all its forms, and mental connections — it represents the development of language and intelligence, as well as our ability to adapt and relate to our immediate environment.
This is a “busy” energy focused on collecting information. It invites us to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind to see what new thought structures we might want to engage with.
Mercury’s close alignment to the New Moon invites us to learn to better listen to ourselves and others, become more aware of our communications and exchanges, and see both sides of a situation.
Ask yourself: Where do I need to leave room for discussion when sharing my thoughts? If there were a handsome cash prize for listening twice as much as I speak, what would I do differently to win it? What if there were a bonus for listening with 5% more curiosity?
Our day-to-day mind (Mercury in Gemini) wants us to engage via email, text, phone, the internet, the news, chatting, connecting, and staying informed.

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
So, this month, any time between 11:02pm on May 26thand9am on May 28th. Then there will be a 4.5 hour period on May 28th, during which the Moon will be void of course, from 9amuntil 1:33pm. It is best to avoid setting your Intention during that time.

The entrance of the Moon into Virgo on March12th starts the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon — if you are an active Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject
This Full Moon is also a Total Lunar Eclipse; more about this below. Eclipses are extra powerful New and Full Moons, signaling significant endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same place in the zodiac every 19 years.
There are two Eclipse Seasons per year. They give us the opportunity to upgrade our energy, emotional, and mental bodies, together with our physical experience.
In 2025, we will encounter four Eclipses (two in March and two in September). These will be similar in sign and degree to the Eclipses in March and September of 2006.
This Eclipse Season started on Feb. 27th (at the time of the last New Moon) and lasts until April 21st (past the next Full Moon in Libra).
During this time, it’s important to stay grounded and flexible. Avoid rushing into decisions until April 21st.
If you feel a strong urge to take action, do your best to observe that urge unless it’s connected to something that arises naturally. If you are unsure about a potential action, waiting until Eclipse Season is over is best.
During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow; this stimulates our emotional body and increases our awareness of unconscious patterns and thought forms.
As noted above, this Full Moon is a Total Lunar Eclipse; these occur when the Moon moves entirely into the central, darkest part of the Earth’s shadow (also known as the “umbra”). During totality, the Moon can appear reddish-orange, earning these eclipses the ancient name of “Blood Moon“.
The Blood Moon may find us more easily triggered as buried emotions and/or fears surface. Please be alert for when you may be projecting psychologically and jumping to conclusions.
Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so it may help to remember that Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.
The entire Eclipsewill bevisible — and at its best — across most of the Americas (North and South), with glimpses for Europe, Africa, and East Asia. Totality lasts about an hour, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for the next four weeks, until April 14th.
A Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries will follow on March 29th — the last one of its kind until 2042! I will be recording a video about this around March 21st/22nd — so watch out for that.
All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved.
This Total Eclipse takes place with the Moon in detail-oriented, practical, analytical Virgo and the Sun in creative, free-flowing, sensitive Pisces.
Eclipses are usually powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collective and individual). The Moon Nodes started their journey through Pisces-Virgo on Jan. 11th, 2025, and they will remain there until July 26th, 2026!
On March 14th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the last Eclipse Season that began in September of 2024? What can we see now that was not apparent then?
This Eclipse also constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, which emphasizes the balance between making more of an effort to trust our connection to the divine and our intuition, and our ability to discern what works and doesn’t work for us when it comes to our day-to-day well-being.
This powerful Full Moon also calls us to release or redefine our conditioned minds, our judgments of ourselves and others, and anything disconnected from our hearts.
We are encouraged to become more aware of our biases, approach anything we do not know or understand with compassion, and bring acceptance and unconditional love to our interactions with others.
With a new Eclipse cycle, this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until February 2027.
Full Moons illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices. We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a South Node Eclipse, we need to bring greater awareness to the Virgo energy.
We might want to ask ourselves: What has become toxic, unhealthy, or unmanageable in connection with my rational/scientific mind?
Here are the astrological highlights of this Lunar Eclipse chart:
The Sun aligns with Saturn, the North Node, and Neptune in Pisces
The Moon aligns with the South Node in Virgo and opposes Saturn, the North Node, and Neptune in Pisces, and trines Uranus in Taurus
The Sun/Saturn alignment trines an exalted Mars in Cancer and sextiles Uranus in Taurus
Mercury (the ruler of Virgo and the Lunar Eclipse) is highly exalted in Aries at the time of the Eclipse, coming to a halt only 24 hours after the Eclipse, starting its 3-week Retrograde phase
Mercury also aligns with an exalted Retrograde Venus in Aries and sextiles Jupiter in Gemini
Neptune (the ruler of Pisces) remains in an exalted degree until March 30th

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel called to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I tend to use a 4º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 24 degrees of Virgo-Pisces:

On May 23rd at 9:53am EDT, the Full Moon in almost 3 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We start to feel the Full Moon build from the moment the Moon enters Sagittarius early that same morning.
For the next two weeks, we seek balance as we become more awareof something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).

Here’s a quick overview of what I’ll discuss in this article:
The Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Pluto in Aquarius, which means that the Sun in Gemini trines Pluto.
Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, aligns with Venus in Taurus, both at 29º (an exalted degree)!
Venus enters Gemini only 12 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact, and Jupiter will follow suit two days later (on May 25th)
Jupiter & Venus sextile Neptune in Pisces (with Neptune at 29º!)
Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is also in Taurus, making a wide Square to Pluto in Aquarius.
Mars is currently in its domicile sign and will be sandwiched between the North Node & Chiron in Aries at the time of the Full Moon.
More about the specifics in a moment, but one thing to remember: Full Moons are always times of awareness and culmination. We see things we have not seen before and get to make changes if we don’t like what we see.
So think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 7th: What seeds were planted then? What has “sprouted” since? What are you aware of now that was not apparent before?
Before we talk about all of the aspects of this Full Moon, let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:
Gemini deals with information exchange, observation, and objectivity, while Sagittarius deals with what’s beyond our thinking — indeed, beyond information — this includes things like interpretation and ethics.
In other words, what do we think, believe, and “really know”? We are invited to become more aware of the difference between facts vs. beliefs, truth vs. fabrication, and meaningful activity vs. diversions.
