Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 15th:

Monday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey through this sign until Tuesday late evening. With this placement, life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Monday morning, we are ready to make a courageous move. Follow your instincts as best as you can: you know better than anyone what’s best for you. (Moon conjuncts Jupiter in Aries, exact at 6:59am EDT)

Monday evening has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with and around our ability to be assertive; this allows us to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance, and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations. (Moon conjuncts Chiron in Aries, exact at 9:01pm EDT)

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 12:41am EDT: if you are awake at this time, you may feel the need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, we want to connect on a practical level and share our most precise observations with others — and on the other hand, we feel the need to be independent, move fast, and be actively engaged with life. (Moon in Aries quincunxes Mercury in Virgo, exact at 12:41am EDT)

Haste Makes Waste — Astrology Forecast for Aug. 8th – 14th, 2022

This week’s headline items: Uranus starts to slow down (station) on Wednesday, preparing for its yearly 5-month Retrograde phase; Venus changes signs from Cancer to Leo on Thursday afternoon and the Full Moon in Aquarius becomes exact that evening; Mars opposes the degree of May 16th’s Lunar Eclipse on Friday morning.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday morning (for a little over 8 hours); Wednesday early afternoon (for a little over 2 hours), Friday morning (for a little over 7.5 hours), and Sunday late morning (for 5.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 8th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 2:39pm EDT; with this placement, we’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday morning, at 6:30am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for a little over 8 hours until 2:39pm EDT. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within and get quiet. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow.

Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind to yourself.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan ahead for Monday morning until the afternoon.

Monday afternoon, at 2:39 pm EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is transiting through Aquarius, making this a great time to look at our visions for humanity and anything we would like to accomplish long-term within our local or online communities.

It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your personal vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now and where you see yourself 5 years from now? What do you truly want to commit yourself to?

Monday late afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:01pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Aug. 5th) on, and it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This creates a supportive environment for healing our insecurities.

We can bring greater awareness to our feelings of shame and any self-deprecating thoughts or behaviors. Paradoxically, we have the chance to shine, largely because we project self-respect and modesty. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths. Where might this be true for you?

Something else that supports healing our insecurities is a sense that we are pursuing a worthy goal — this could be something as simple as a desire to create and express ourselves, or simply acceptance of our own/human complexities while expressing ourselves creatively or otherwise.

Ask yourself: How open can I be to being courageously myself, with all my sensitivities and insecurities? How complex could I allow myself to be? How about everyone else out there in the world? Could I give others permission to be just as complex?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (as the Sun rules Leo).

Super Full Moon in Aquarius — the article

Please remember that due to a family matter, I will be taking a break from creating Full Moon videos until the end of the summer. All other Member content (including Full Moon articlesNew Moon videos, New Moon articles, and my Weekly Forecasts) will continue uninterrupted.

On  August 11th, at 9:36pm EDTthe Full Moon becomes exact in 19 degrees of Aquarius. The entrance of the Moon into Aquarius on Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 10th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon; the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun in fun-loving, expressive Leo.

Oppositions always resonate back to the conjunction of the planets involved. We are looking to see how far we have come since that conjunction. For example, with the Full Moon, we are looking back to the previous New Moon (in this case, July 28th), to see what has developed since then.

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is another “Full SuperMoon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

The Moon in Aquarius also makes a conjunction with Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius). Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius), is exalted (stationing) at the time of this Super Full Moon, and is also still conjunct the North Node & Mars in Taurus; it has now become the Focus Point of a T-Square with the Full Moon. The Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio create a Grand Cross with the Full Moon polarity.

Since there are multiple Oppositions and Squares in this Super Full Moon chart, let’s take a look at what those represent: Oppositions require integration and balance, whereas Squares invite us to stretch and grow, as we may be experiencing challenges, and we are asked to overcome that which feels uncomfortable.

We also have three Trines and two Sextiles in this Full Moon chart. Trines feel supportive and give us a sense of ease. Sextiles are opportunities that require action. These are the major themes of this Super Full Moon chart and we will address them in detail in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity (and if you know this polarity already, feel free to skip to the details of this particular Super Full Moon chart — the aspects):

The Moon in Aquarius opposes the Sun in Leo; this highlights the power of our individual creativity and the exponential potency of collaboration. Each of us is invited to reclaim ourselves, and add our voice, heart, and hands to something that has meaning for us.

The invitation here is to dare to be different, and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth. The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our head with our heart, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity, and we create and connect from love instead of fear. Given that Leo represents our individual self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question is raised: How can we best achieve a balance between these two energies? Or perhaps even an integration?

For the next two weeks, we’ll be…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this Super Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer)

August 1st – 7th

The Necessity for a Healthy Relationship with the Physical World

This week’s headline items: Mars aligns with North Node and Uranus in Taurus on Monday afternoon; on Tuesday afternoon, the Sun squares the degree of April 30th’s Solar Eclipse, and it is also time to take actions on your New Moon intentions; Mercury changes signs from Leo to Virgo very early on Thursday morning; Jupiter’s Station phase ends later on Thursday (remaining retrograde until Nov. 23rd); last but not least, the First Quarter Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Friday morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday evening (for a little over 5.5 hours); Thursday very early morning (for 5.5 hours), and Saturday morning (a little over 5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 1st:

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking): first of all, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day.

With this placement, our focus is on the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:23am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday morning (July 31st), and it will remain strong until this Tuesday morning. This could contribute either to some mental confusion and spaciness, or the need to communicate with others from our imagination (but possibly not knowing how to achieve that).

This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, sort of “awkward” — and we need to make a choice. Sometimes, imagination and mind can run far ahead of what is feasible (and sensible). At these times, the grand vision is best served by focusing on the next concrete step, accepting our own idiosyncrasies as we go.

Honesty is crucial here, especially self-honesty; inner awareness is in turn crucial to deep honesty and authenticity. What’s true for you? What might be possible for humanity? Where do those overlap?

Note that I say “overlap”: Don’t look for an exact fit; this is more like two puzzle pieces that came from different jigsaw puzzles. You might keep looking at the imperfect fit and feel a nagging sense that something doesn’t make sense… and it doesn’t — it can’t. The pieces are not from the same game. Just do your best to “hang out” with the discomfort, rather than repeatedly trying to figure it out and fix it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-26 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Around 2pm EDT Monday, Mars aligns with the North Node in 18.5º of TaurusWe started to feel this alignment build from last Thursday morning (July 28th), and it will remain strong until this Saturday. The last time this alignment took place in any sign was in late March 2021 (in Gemini); the last time we had one in Taurus was in February 2004!

Think back to February of 2004: what steps did you take back then to see your own value more clearly? Where did you indicate new ways of sharing your talents or your resources?

The North Node represents uncharted territory — an area of our lives where we must grow, even if it’s scary, even if it requires effort on our part — but this effort will be rewarded, and usually feels fulfilling.

The North Node in Taurus emphasizes the necessity for organic self-esteem and a healthy relationship with the physical world — with our bodies, resources, and the Earth. The goal is to experience happiness in connection with the physical realm.

Mars aligning with the North Node brings an activating energy to everything concerning Taurus: the enjoyment of our physical world and physical body, as well as an understanding of our value, and what talents and resources we are bringing to the table.

We are ready to roll up our sleeves and do the work: it’s time to develop more awareness around what our own values genuinely are, versus those we may have adopted or inherited.

It takes courage to engage with North Node issues, so ask yourself: What is the next step on my journey toward becoming an ever-stronger, healthy individual, one who honors and loves themselves, and is not afraid to have different values from others?

Mars also aligns with Uranus later today, so please also read the entry about the Mars/Uranus alignment in Taurus that will be exact later this evening, at 7:53pm EDT (see below).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Taurus, ScorpioLeo, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Monday evening, at 6:29pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for a little over 5.5 hours, until 12:06am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to empower each other around earthly issues and support each other in practical ways. Your attention to detail is enhanced; you might implement new health routines or other systems that support your long-term goals.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening until Tuesday very early morning ahead of time.

Also, on Monday evening, a Mars/Uranus alignment in 18.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 7:53pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Wednesday evening (July 27th), and it will remain strong until this Saturday evening.  This connection brings a lot of nervous energy with it: we will most likely feel sudden spurts of energy moving through our bodies; this could make us rash in thought and deed. We may experience sudden insights about ourselves and our valued goals.

Ask yourself: What might it look like to consciously break away from situations that have limited me when it came to honoring myself and my talents? Where could I channel my courage? Where do I need to “think different”? Act differently? Might a deep breath into my belly calm my nervous system?

Our willingness to innovate is strong with this alignment: new ways of seeing, using, and approaching our personal possessions, valuables, money, and talents are in focus.

This alignment between Uranus and Mars also asks us to break away from anything keeping us from honoring our uniqueness and quirks — whatever keeps us in a rut, collectively and individually.

Ask yourself: What if — in small or large ways — I could help birth a new age and with it a new world, one based on heart-centered consciousness and individual freedoms?

Please be extra conscious when driving. Do your best to channel the extra energy in a productive way: physical exercise is great for this, as is consciously breaking away from situations that have limited you — up until now. And (this is always wise)… As best as you can, stay grounded and keep breathing

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Taurus, ScorpioLeo, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 12:06am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Thursday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No”. One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

July 25th – 31st

Get Objective Feedback

This week’s headline items: Jupiter’s Station in Aries intensifies on Monday; the New Moon in Leo becomes exact on Thursday early afternoon; Jupiter comes to a halt and starts its 4-month Retrograde phase on Thursday late afternoon; Chiron ends its Station phase in Aries on Saturday (while remaining Retrograde).

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday early morning (for a little over 9.5 hours); Wednesday evening (a little over 5.5 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (almost 14 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, July 25th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 1:54pm EDT. With this placement, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday in the very early morning, a challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:13am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Friday evening (July 22nd) and it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect asks that we question our most fundamental beliefs and conditioning around money, valuing ourselves, and our relationships.

It also challenges us to step out of our comfort zone and grow beyond who we thought we were when we were growing up (or in the past).

We are also invited to investigate how we view our connections to family and home. We are called to grow beyond our current understanding of what our values led us to pursue until now.

Issues connected to love, relationships, and whatever is most valuable to us, can seem overwhelming at this time. This is because we have a tendency to overindulge or over-promise.

Ask yourself: What assumptions am I operating from in connection with money that are based in my past and no longer applicable? What are the assumptions around love? Where am I overindulging, based on what I think I deserve, rather than what I truly need?

We mean well, because we are feeling quite optimistic at this time, but may underestimate how much time we actually have, or how good a fit something actually is.

Overspending could be connected to this aspect as well, as could making assumptions around our personal projects or leadership abilities; as best as you can, bring a non-judgmental awareness to any such tendencies.

What are you observing about yourself and your emotional connections with others? What is enough… and what is too much?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-12 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Libra, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday in the early morning, at 4:14am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for a little over 9.5 hours, until 1:54pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments — you may also need to do a little stretching and growing when it comes to your inner, intuitive, or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, and seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.

Monday early afternoon, at 1:54pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others. Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary.

Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.

Also on Monday, Jupiter’s Station intensifies at almost 9º of Aries, as it is preparing to come to a halt on Thursday afternoon (starting its 4-month Retrograde phase… more on that later…). This intensified station will last until July 30th. We will feel Jupiter’s energy even more forcefully during this time.

As I mentioned last Friday already, when a planet stations, we start to be more fully aware of its energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies as they exist within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, and “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overpromising, and overindulgence.

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendant) in 7-11 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Cancer, or Libra will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects)

New Moon in Leo — the article

On July 28th, at 1:55pm EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 5.5 degrees of Leo — in other words, the New Moon will be exact (I recommend you also watch my New Moon video on the subject).

There are several planets of importance in this New Moon chart: Jupiter & Chiron in Aries (both exalted/stationing); Mars, Uranus, & the North Node align in Taurus; finally, Saturn in Aquarius & Mercury in Leo square the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio.

The dwarf planet/asteroid Ceres aligns with the New Moon in Leo; this makes nurturing our inner creative child and any physical children essential for the next 28 days.

Jupiter & Chiron are not only exalted in this New Moon chart, but they also both make an aspect to the New Moon, Mercury & Venus… But more about all of that in a moment, first let’s talk about the New Moon energies:

The New Moon in fun-loving, extroverted, expressive Leo has us looking for heartfelt experiences. It’s important for us to express ourselves, to learn about love — and in particular, to learn about how those things work together to help us create from the heart and from a place of joy.

Think about the keywords for this self-expressed fire sign: “proud, generous, hospitable, caring, warm, authoritative, active, open, fun-loving”… How could you live into those words?

Leo is ruled by the Sun, symbol of consciousness and the unique light we came to shine in this lifetime — this is what we were born to explore and express — so ask yourself: Where could I shine my unique light more brightly? What brings me joy? Not just in general… but in this very moment?

Leo also represents our creativity: there are as many ways to be creative and self-expressed as there are “selves” — indeed, we are all creators — we create with every thought, word, and action.

Creativity requires innocence, curiosity, courage, and play. To live it out, we must tap into the unique spark inside of us in a joyful way — and allow ourselves the freedom to make mistakes — creativity thrives on love and permission and is stifled by judgment and fear.

Take a moment to contact your “free inner child” — that place inside that is ready to play and create. What might encourage that inner child to come out and play? If you aren’t sure, there’s no need to guess: Try asking it gently and directly…

As I started to talk about earlier, Jupiter & Chiron in Aries are both exalted/stationing at the time of the New Moon; when a planet is in its Station phase, we are more fully aware of its energy. This helps us to get more connected to…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 3-8 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurusor Scorpio? Or do your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer? This New Moon may feel stronger to you…

And last, but definitely not least: the New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; the best time for the intention-setting process is soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

That means the best & most potent time to set intentions this month would be between 1:55pm, Thursday, July 28th, and 12:29am on Saturday, July 30th. As always, all times are in EDT — the New York timezone.

If you live outside the EDT timezone, and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage and/or following me on Twitter. I will be posting reminders on both platforms on July 28th, 29th & 30th to let you know when is the best time to set your intentions 😉

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday very early morning (for 4.5 hours); Wednesday late morning (4 hours), and Friday evening (almost 5.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, a quick reminder:

If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, July 18th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 7:17am EDT. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go.

Monday very early morning, at 2:43am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for 4.5 hours, until 7:17am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration, and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term. As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart that stir you towards success.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.

Monday very early morning, a Mercury/Pluto opposition becomes exact at 3:01am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Saturday evening (July 16th), and it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening. This opposition might bring up some profound issues that need to be discussed. Obsessive thinking, attempts to persuade, insistence on knowing the “truth” or exposing lies, are all possibilities now.

We are capable of very hard work and exertion. In particular, we tend to pursue ideas with intensity, making this an excellent time for any kind of research or in-depth study. We may not be able to put our inner thoughts and experiences into words — and maybe that’s as well, given the darkness and intensity of those thoughts.

We may develop a great love of debate, but we need to be careful not to overpower others with our strong opinions, in our efforts to “convert” them — in other words, treating debates or exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds.

Intense conversations and connections feel more “real” than superficial ones. We want to dig out the truth about our feelings and the world we’ve built. As best as you can, try not to obsess about what someone said to you, or what you’ve heard: We may take things personally that were actually meant to empower us. Here’s what it comes down to: Could you allow yourself to go deeper and tap into your true inner power?

As best as you can, take it one moment at a time; as best you can, resolve issues through cooperation and stay objective. When you notice that you are taking things personally and starting to get defensive, take a deep breath and ask yourself: Is this really about me? Or my past issues? Or theirs? How can I ground myself in the here and now? What might change if I decided to focus on nurturing myself?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 24-29 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra, or 0-1 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Monday, at 7:17am EDT, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey there until Wednesday afternoon (July 20th). Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Let your Intuition Guide you in Money & Love

This week’s headline items: the second of three US Pluto Returns (in 27.5º of Capricorn) will be exact on Monday; on Tuesday, Chiron’s station in Aries intensifies, and Neptune’s station in Pisces finally ends (with the planet now in its Retrograde phase); the Full Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Wednesday afternoon; Venus changes signs from Gemini to Cancer on Sunday late evening.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late evening (for a little over 7 hours); Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for 4 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (for almost 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, just a gentle reminder:

Due to a family matter, I will be taking a break from creating Full Moon videos until the end of the summer. All other Member content (including Full Moon articlesNew Moon videos, New Moon articles, and my Weekly Forecasts) will continue uninterrupted.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, July 11th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. With this Moon placement, we’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than take orders.

With the Moon in  Sagittarius, inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see. As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you.

Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Aries, making this a great couple of days to explore our individual passions and goals. As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your own desires — and get excited about new paths and new projects.

Ask yourself: What might open up if I became more connected to “I am that I am”? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards myself and my personal passions and goals?

What might promote my independence and me walking my own path? What might do the same for growth around my sexuality and my human identity? What personal beliefs about my identity am I now ready to explore or go beyond?

Use today to create more joy and pleasure in the pursuit of our own personal goals, especially if you are getting burned out from doing too much for too long.

Monday late evening, at 9:42pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for a little over 7 hours, until 5:01am EDT (Tuesday early morning). As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within and get quiet. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow.

Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little; as best as you can, be compassionate and kind to yourself.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening until Tuesday early morning ahead of time.

Also on Monday, the second of three US Pluto Returns this year becomes exact at 27º33’ of Capricorn; the first was exact on Feb. 20th. The process of transformation has begun. You might even say that this process already started 5 years ago, in January 2017, when Pluto started to approach its exact return point (coming within 10º of its natal position).

This is a once-every-248-year event that facilitates a major breakdown and rebirthing process — and since the United States is a fairly young country, she is experiencing this transformative event for the first time since the country was founded in 1776. The re-birthing process is a long one, but the initiation will be completed by Dec. 28th, 2022: A new era begins ==> Feel free to also watch my video on the subject.

Super Full Moon in Capricorn — the article

Due to a family matter, I will be taking a break from creating Full Moon videos until the end of the summer. All other Member content (including Full Moon articlesNew Moon videos, New Moon articles, and my Weekly Forecasts) will continue uninterrupted.

On July 13th, at 2:38pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 21.5 degrees of Capricorn. This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is a “Full SuperMoon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

Secondly, lots of planets are involved in this Super Full Moon chart — Chiron, Pluto, Neptune, Mercury, Uranus, Saturn, and the Moon Nodes — and all play an important role, so buckle up! We also have a Grand Water Trine and many aspects to the Moon…

Chiron in Aries plays an especially big role in this Super Full Moon chart, firstly because it is stationing and therefore exalted — indicating that something is in our face and demands our awareness — we must pay attention to whatever comes up in connection with Chiron’s energies (the Wounded Healer). And secondly, because it is the Focus Point of a T-Square, involving the Full Moon polarity (Capricorn-Cancer). More details in a moment…

First, let’s take a look at the polarities involved in this Super Full Moon: The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn opposes the Sun in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the connection we have to our feelings and emotional needs, plus our ability to feel emotionally connected to others (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

It’s important to realize that our long-term goals need our attention — and that they could be the very thing that might bring the fulfillment and inner stability we seek. A realistic approach will work best here!

Ask yourself: Where might the balance point be between the demands of my inner and outer life? If I listened 5% more closely to my feelings, my body, and my intuition, might I be able to find that balance point more quickly?

Capricorn seeks to develop…

If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer).

Please note that we’ll take a look at the Jupiter Station & Retrograde phases in Aries (July 22nd – Aug. 4th, 2022, 4-months Rx begins on July 28th); as well as Uranus’ conjunction to the North Node in Taurus (exact on July 31st, strong July 5th – Aug. 28th), and Mars in Taurus joins that party on Aug. 1st (strong July 24th – Aug. 10th).

July 4th – 10th

Open to Forgiving Yourself? And Others?

This week’s headline items: Neptune in Pisces is still exalted, as it is stationing all week; from Monday morning on, it is time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions; Mars changes signs from Aries to Taurus, and Mercury changes signs from Gemini to Cancer, very early on Tuesday; the first Quarter Moon in Libra is exact on Wednesday late evening; Chiron starts to slow down (station) in Aries on Saturday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for almost 4.5 hours); Thursday late evening (for a little over 4 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, let me share something important:

To everyone who celebrates 4th of July… Happy Independence Day! The second Pluto Return of the USA is approaching… exact on July 11th. Feel free to watch my video on the subject, here.

If you are feeling the intensity of the times we live in, and could use some support or peace of mind, give yourself the gift of a Coaching-Healing session!

For anyone who has never done a session with me, I would like to offer the first 30 minutes for free and if you don’t see any benefit for yourself after 30 minutes, we can end the session then and there (no questions asked) — and if you do, we would continue for another 50 minutes and make your first session an 80-minute session, all for the same price as my regular 50-minute sessions.

Simply email me if you would like to give it a shot! Looking forward to supporting you!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, July 4th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day and will journey there until Tuesday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Monday morning, from 9:03am EDT on, it is time to start taking actions on our New Moon intentions if you set Intentions on June 28th, 29th or 30th last week, after the New Moon became exact, this morning will be the best time to start taking relevant actions.

If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Monday late morning, we feel a need to be precise and practical in our thinking and with our work, and we also want to connect, interact and learn from others. This tension invites us to stretch a little and resolve it through creative solutions — the key here is to be of service, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy.

You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible — and don’t be too hard on yourself! (Moon in Virgo squares Venus in Gemini, exact at 11:38am EDT)

Monday afternoon, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to heal our relationship with the inner masculine (assertiveness/anger, leadership, taking actions) — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily work or health routines. (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 4:22pm EDT)

Monday evening, we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail.

We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day to day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable. (Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 7:23pm EDT)

June 27th – July 3rd

Prepared to Go to Any Lengths

This week’s headline items: Neptune comes to a halt (starting its 5-month retrograde phase) very early on Tuesday and the New Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Tuesday late evening. The 45-day window of the Lunar Eclipse’s impact closes Thursday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late evening (for a little over 9 hours); Thursday late afternoon (almost 4.5 hours), and Sunday morning (2.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I just wanted to thank those of you who…

… sent their condolences on YouTube or via Facebook. It was a difficult week for me and my husband. Saying goodbye to our beloved cat after 20 years of living together and going through so many life changes and challenges was definitely hard. I am glad that she is no longer in pain and has found peace, but my heart is grieving. She was really special.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 27th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day, and it will journey there until Tuesday morning.

Monday morning, an opportune Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:46am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (June 25th), and it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening. We have an opportunity to bring healing energy to our concrete minds and to our thoughts. We also have a chance to heal insecurities in our verbal, in-person, social media, or email interactions.

We are better able now to tune out that automatic/critical inner voice, in favor of more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. By bringing love and understanding to our thinking processes, we have a chance to move beyond entrenched habits, like “impatient self-talk”, or the use of aggressive language (swear words for example).

Here are a few good “chew toys” for your mind at this time: What was your family’s attitude towards communication? Toward speaking up for yourself? What if you tried a kinder approach for a bit? Does your inner dialog really have to repeat what they said when you were 3 or 5 years old? What if you tried using a gentler voice for the next ten minutes or so?

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to get the recording of my Chiron Workshop: “Healing with Astrology” Click here for more info. Please keep in mind that as a Member of my online community you have automatic access to this workshop. Go to My Courses.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 14-18 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Monday evening, an opportune Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 6:29pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (June 24th), and it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This aspect is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we could find an increased focus on our work and activities, coupled with a sense of purpose.

We have a chance to face life with more purpose and maturity. We tend to be more practical than usual, and our progress in most projects is perhaps slow but steady. This can be a very productive time in our lives. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — this isn’t necessarily handed to us, we have to make the most of it. It’s our choice.

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 23-27 degrees of Aries, Aquarius, Sagittarius, or Gemini? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars rules Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Monday late evening, at 10:38pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for a little over 9 hours, until 7:53am EDT (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments — you may also need to do a little stretching and growing when it comes to your inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, and seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening until Tuesday morning ahead of time.

New Moon in Cancer — the article

On June 28th at 10:52pm EDT, the New Moon becomes exact in almost 7.5 degrees of Cancer; this is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon makes a square to Jupiter in Aries, and Mars (the ruler of Aries) squares Pluto in Capricorn & sextiles Saturn in Aquarius — just to name a few. Whenever faster-moving bodies (in this case the Sun, Moon, and Mars) link up with slower, outer planets (in this case Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto) in close aspect, the collective desire for change increases.

Another thing worth mentioning with this New Moon chart is Neptune’s highly exalted energy at the time of the New Moon — but before we go into all of this in detail, let’s first talk about the Cancer archetype:

Cancer is the first water sign of the zodiac, as such, it relates to the development of the “emotional body” — so this Moon cycle amplifies feelings, instincts, and needs.

Cancer represents the yin, receptive principle, which births, nurtures, and protects life. The Sun and Moon in Cancer remind us that we must also receive as well as give. Both constant giving and constant taking are unhealthy and unsustainable.

Our feeling nature has been denied and suppressed for millennia, but we have begun to embrace it more fully since 2011, when Neptune started its journey through Pisces.

Feelings are an essential source of information about our true needs — they are a dashboard that tells us what is healthy for us. When we don’t heed that information, we become dependent on others for validation and direction, or lose ourselves in addictions and distractions.

With this New Moon occurring in protective, introverted Cancer, we are invited to surround ourselves with quality and safety; we can expect anything connected to home, family, real estate, or childhood issues to be heightened in our awareness for the next four weeks.

This New Moon highlights the importance of listening to our feelings, focusing on Self-care, healing old wounds from the past, and releasing unhealthy patterns that keep us stuck in the past.

Cancer is all about supporting and protecting life, but many of us are conditioned to ignore our own bodies and our environment — along with our inner life, feeling-bodies, and emotional/spiritual connection to other life forms.

This creates a disconnect not only from our true selves but also from the rest of the world. Many of us tend to put little value on emotional intelligence, but it’s very hard to have meaningful, authentic connections without it — and it begins with self-connection and self-awareness.

Ask yourself: What might I do differently if my feelings were just little children that wanted to be heard? What price might I be paying for denying or suppressing their little voices? Cancer reminds us that…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 5-10 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be any time between 10:52pm (June 28th) and 4:14pm EDT, on Thursday afternoon (June 30th); and then again between 8:40pm and 10:52pm EDT (also on June 30th).

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter, as I post reminders on June 28th, 29th, and 30th to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 20th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 11:37pm EDT. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go until later this evening. This Moon placement also started the build-up to the last Quarter Moon, exact very late this evening.

Monday very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:44am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday night (June 17th/18th), and it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening. This aspect is an opportunity for us to expand our thinking and express ourselves with confidence and optimism — we share what’s important to us from a place of open-mindedness and excitement.

This connection also creates a possibility of an expansion by stepping into uncharted territory. Humor can be a great way to tap into this energetic combo. This planetary connection also favors short trips, writing, teaching, studying, and taking indicative. We more readily exercise good judgment and are more “philosophical” and open to learning.

As with any opportunity, we have to “take” it — it requires we take action. What could you do that would instill confidence in your exploration of the mind? Is there a new mental process that is asking to be explored? Are you ready to expand your mind? Your thinking?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-9 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday late evening, at 11:11pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon becomes exact in 29.5º of Pisces (an exalted degree). This is also the second last Quarter Moon in Pisces within the last four weeks. The first one was on May 22nd, towards the end of Eclipse season. Think back to that week (May 22nd – 29th), and ask yourself: What needed adjustment in my life back then?

The Moon in creative, sensitive Pisces makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in versatile, fast-thinking Gemini. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed — and what needs to be changed.

This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon in Cancer (on June 28th). As always, with the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed. What — if anything — needs last-minute adjustments? What have you discovered since May 30th? What did it mean for you?

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up between yourself and others — and for any internal conflicts.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 0-4 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius or 29 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

At the same time as the last Quarter Moon becomes exact, we enter a brief Moon VoC, that will last for 26 mins, until 11:37pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to stretch and grow — to undertake a process of adjusting your thoughts. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible, don’t rush into anything — and go within whenever possible.

See if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, allow for daydreaming, naps, or intuitive self-expression. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Monday at 11:37pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday morning.

Have Faith in Infinite Support from the Universe

This week’s headline items: Mercury re-enters Gemini on Monday late morning; the Full Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Tuesday morning; Neptune starts its Station phase in 25.5º of Pisces on Wednesday; Mercury exits its post-Shadow phase early Saturday evening; and on Sunday, Saturn’s Station phase finally ends (although the planet is now retrograde).

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for a little over 7 hours); Thursday afternoon (for 3 hours), and Saturday afternoon (for a little over 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, a quick reminder:

If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 13th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday evening. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders.

This Moon placement also starts the build towards the upcoming Full Moon in Sagittarius (exact tomorrow morning, Tuesday) — feel free to watch my video on the subject, or read my Full Moon article here!

Monday late morning, at 11:27am EDT, Mercury re-enters chatty, versatile Gemini where it will journey until July 5th; due to its recent Retrograde phase, it was already in Gemini from April 29th until May 22nd.

Think back to those dates and ask yourself: Did I have any conversations that I need to revisit? Was there any information (especially in connection with learning or understanding something) that I wanted to go after?

For the next 3 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: Mercury — the energy of communication — will pick up the pace of our lives just a little.

Mental exchanges and abilities take priority for the next 3 weeks — talking, writing, sharing, and connecting to the world around us in whatever way we can (internet, phone, in person, TV, radio…). This is a time with great potential for studying and learning, curiosity and open-mindedness, and social/intellectual growth.

Make sure you don’t exhaust yourself during this time. As best as you can, keep taking breaks and let yourself see the larger picture now and again. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the pick up in pace more strongly.

Monday evening, we have lots of energy and a positive attitude towards life. As best as you can, start something you feel passionate or enthusiastic about — what projects come to mind? What would be a fantastic use for all the physical energy that you have currently access to?  (Moon in Sagittarius trines Mars in Aries, exact at 6:05pm EDT)

Also on Monday evening, we might find ourselves wanting to explore a new healing modality for body, mind, and heart, aimed at a renewing our enthusiasm for life. We are capable of being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best. (Moon in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:57pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to mentally explore and go beyond what we already know — and on the other hand, the need for breakthroughs or change connected to the physical plane.

We need to ask ourselves here: What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable? Or 5% more comfortable embracing uncertainty? (Moon in Sagittarius quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 9:40pm EDT)

Super Full Moon in Sagittarius — the article

On June 14th at 7:52am EDTthe Full Moon in almost 23.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius, early on Sunday evening, June 12. This month’s Full Moon is also known as the Strawberry Moon — the last Full Moon in Spring.

In addition, this Full Moon is also a SuperMoon. These occur when the Moon is either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth and are therefore more powerful. This often means an increase in emotional reactivity and greater awareness around the issues connected to the particular Full Moon energy in question.

For the next two weeks, we seek balance, as we become more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius) ==> If you are already a Member of my online community, you can learn more about this month’s Super Full Moon, just click here to watch my video!

Saturn in Aquarius is still exalted, although the planet is now in its Retrograde motion and forming a sextile with the Moon in Sagittarius, while Neptune in Pisces squares the Full Moon polarity. The ruler of Gemini (Mercury), and the ruler of Sagittarius (Jupiter) make a Sextile to each other. Mercury is in an exalted degree and Mars aligns with Chiron in Aries. All of this plays a crucial role in this Full Moon chart.

More about the specifics in a moment, but one thing to remember in general: Full Moons are always times of awareness and culmination. We see things that we have not seen before and get a chance to make some changes if we don’t like what we see.

So think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 30th: What seeds were planted at that time? What has “sprouted” since?

Let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a wider perspective, one that has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained thereby. It’s all about seeking a higher truth, and a higher meaning for life’s challenges — a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations.

So that’s Sagittarius’s highest vibration — what of its shadow side? When we suppress this energy inside of us, we become…

If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 6th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo & VoC until 2:22am EDT.  If you are awake before 2:22am EDT, use the remainder of this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for creative self-expression and fun, and also for talking, learning, or writing about physical pleasures and what is most important to you on the physical plane.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Monday, at 2:22am EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

This Moon placement also begins the build-up to the first Quarter Moon, exact on Tuesday late morning.

Monday early morning, an opportune Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:44am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (June 3rd), and it will remain strong until this Thursday morning (June 9th). This aspect is an opportunity for self-healing; this could support our confidence and bring us into better alignment with our physical and emotional body.

We all have flaws, wounds, insecurities. The more we can open up to that being ok for ourselves, the less judgmental we will be with others. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths — how might this be true for you?

Until Thursday morning (June 9th), as best as you can, practice gentleness; be kind to yourself and others. Again, remember: an opportunity is an opening, a glimpse of new possibilities — so “opportunities” are not simply handed to us, tied up with a bow — we have to “take” them, and make something of them. What will you do with this particular opportunity?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-18 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Monday morning, around 7:30am EDT, Venus reaches 10.5 degrees of Taurus; she aligns with the degree of April 30th’s Solar Eclipse.

This might trigger some relationship or self-worth issues connected to our personal preferences, or financial resources we have (or lack); these will need to be addressed over the next 5 months.

The key here is to heighten awareness of two things: First, how can we be open to more heartfelt interactions around our Soul’s journey and whatever is next for us?

Second: how else could we tap more into our heart energy to feel more abundant and stable? What messages are we receiving today that might deliver a better understanding of this process? What needs to be addressed? Particularly around honoring ourselves and our talents? How about in terms of our finances?

Give Yourself Extra Time

This week’s headline items: Saturn’s Station phase in Aquarius remains at an intensified level all week; the New Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Monday morning; Mercury’s Station in Taurus intensifies on Tuesday before it goes direct on Friday early morning and begins its post-Shadow phase; Saturn comes to a halt on Saturday early evening as it starts its 4.5-month Retrograde phase; it’s time to start to take action on our New Moon intentions on Saturday evening.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late afternoon (for almost 10 hours); Friday late morning (a little over 3.5 hours), and Sunday evening (a little over 7 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 30th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Wednesday very early morning. For the next 1.5 days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday morning, at 7:30am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 9 degrees of Gemini; this marks not only the beginning of a new Moon cycle, but we are also no longer in Eclipse Season. I also recommend you watch my New Moon video on the subject.

One major thing to note in this New Moon chart is that we have 2 planets in their Station phases — and therefore exalted)— and one of those two planets is also the ruler of this New Moon! As such, something is “in our face” in regards to the energies of Mercury & Saturn, demanding our attention and awareness; I will talk more about all of this below, but first, let’s look at the Gemini influence of this New Moon:

Gemini is the archetype of curiosity, communication in all its forms, and mental connections — it represents the development of language and intelligence, as well as our ability to adapt and relate to our immediate environment.

This is a “busy” energy focused on collecting information. We are invited to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind to see what needs to go — and what new thought structures we might want to engage with.

Since Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) is still in its Retrograde motion until June 3rd, we may need to go over thoughts and information collected before May 10th (the start of the retrograde phase), and engage with new thought structures and information after June 18th (once Mercury has exited its Shadow phase).

Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: What motivates me to learn? When I talk to myself about sharing or processing information, what do I typically say? What do I say to myself about being connected to others? About my intellectual capacities? In what area of my life am I a student? A teacher? Am I sometimes both, depending on the day?

The spiritual goal of Gemini is the development of perception, thought, and communication; we are therefore invited to become aware of all the new connections created in the brain with each new thought or memory — and the more we think particular thoughts, the deeper the associated pathways become.

So, ask yourself: What mental paths do I keep heading down, even though I know I don’t need to go there anymore? What if I brought 5% more curiosity to my “self-listening”? Or when connecting with others?

The New Moon sextiles the Jupiter/Mars alignment in Aries; let’s talk a little bit about that planetary alignment first, before we address the Sextile to the New Moon:

Mars’ energy combines with Jupiter’s expansiveness to increase our enthusiasm, liveliness, and optimism. In Aries, this combo is quite fiery — so this could prove a very productive and busy time, particularly when it comes to things we feel passionate about, or strongly identify with.

Feel free to also watch my webinar on the subject, if you haven’t seen it yet — we looked at our own birth charts in connection with those planetary movements, to see how each one of us is personally impacted by this. Click here for more info.

Now, the Sextile of this alignment to the New Moon gives us an opportunity to… To read the whole New Moon article and get access to all of the Coaching questions, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-11 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces?  If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So, this month, any time between 7:30am (on Monday) and 4:10pm (on Tuesday) would be best, then again from 1:49am until 7:30am (on Wednesday) — please note that all times are given in Eastern Daylight Time — the time zone New York City occupies.

Monday evening, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections? (Moon in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries, exact at 8:19pm EDT)

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 23rd:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early evening. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go until Tuesday early evening.

Monday morning, an opportune Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 7:05am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (May 20th), and it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. We might want to take advantage of the opportunities this aspect provides — it’s an excellent time for following our own path and inspiring others to do the same — and for simply having fun and boosting our self-confidence. In fact, we may well feel particularly vital and confident — and inner optimism can bring rewards.

Humor can be a big part of this aspect too: We are able to laugh wholeheartedly, and see only possibility in our lives, especially around exploring our connections with others, exchanging information, and learning about ourselves; whether these explorations are long-term or short-term, they can bring about a healthy shift of attitude toward our personal goals and passions.

Imagine you have a special lens that shows you the “bigger picture”: What do your beliefs about yourself look like as you gaze through it?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-5 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday very late evening, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:27pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Sunday evening (May 22nd) and it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. This aspect provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align; words and deeds connect with ease. As with any opportunity, we have to “take” this one: it will not happen by itself.

Ask yourself: What actions call to me today? How are those actions connected to my personal values? Or to spiritual or creative endeavors that call for a practical approach?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following placements: 27-29 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn, or Scorpio, or 0-2 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 16th:

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 7:50am EDT; with this Moon placement, we feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉

This Moon placement also started the build-up towards a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, that will be exact today. Feel free to watch my Lunar Eclipse video or read my article on the subject here.

Monday very early morning, at 12:14am EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 25 degrees of Scorpio/Taurus). The entrance of the Moon into Scorpio (on May 14th) began the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

This powerful Full Moon is a Total Lunar Eclipse that can be viewed in the Central, Eastern, and European Times zones. The duration of totality lasts 85.5 minutes (= 1.5 hrs). This means that we will feel the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for 45 days.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is the second of two Eclipses within a two-week period; it offers an opportunity for a deeper, more authentic connection with ourselves and others. Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind: Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

As you might know from my last Solar Eclipse video, Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (both collectively and individually). The Moon Nodes remain in polarity for 18 months. They have been in Taurus-Scorpio since Jan. 18th, 2022, highlighting issues around emotional & physical stability, finance, and our relationship with our physical environment and natural resources.

The North Node in Taurus emphasizes the necessity of self-esteem and a healthy relationship with the physical world — with our bodies, resources, and the Earth. The South Node in Scorpio symbolizes our need to face our fears, heal old trauma, and own our power, so we can step into a more passionate relationship with life.

Eclipses reoccur in 19-year cycles. On May 15/16th, 2003, there was a Lunar Eclipse at 24º53’ Scorpio-Taurus, very close to the degree of this Eclipse. Ask yourself: What areas of my life needed to be addressed back then? Where am I being called to make major changes now?

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio opposes the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

There are several aspects worth mentioning in this Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse chart: a T-Square with Saturn in Aquarius as the Focus point, Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio), Mars (the co-ruler of Scorpio), and Neptune, all make harmonious aspects to the Eclipse polarity, Venus (the ruler of Taurus) aligns with Chiron in Aries, Mercury and Pluto are in their Retrograde motions, Jupiter is in 0º of Aries, and last but not least, Uranus, again, plays a big role in this Eclipse chart — and we will address all of them in a moment.

I should also mention that we focused on both Eclipses, as they relate to our own individual birth charts, in our recent Forecasting Forum “Eclipse season & Pluto Station, April-May 2022”: click here for more info or to purchase this webinar  — and feel free to re-listen to it, if you are already a Star Member — if you are at that Membership level, it was emailed to you on April 16th.

Since this Lunar Eclipse is almost a continuation of the last Lunar Eclipse in November of 2021, in 27º of Taurus-Scorpio, we can check to see how far we have come since then, when it comes to facing our fears and valuing ourselves and our authentic relationships to others. Ask yourself: What fears or inauthentic (or even toxic) relationships must I still release or transform if I am to step into greater abundance and happiness in my life?

For the next 45 days, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities and are aware that something needs to be brought into alignment; the balance in question is between our physical attachments, aversions, and connections — symbolized by Taurus— and our emotional attachments, aversions, and connections (Scorpio).

The time of the Lunar Eclipse brings greater awareness to what was unconscious or hidden previously. This particular one invites us to let go of fears or disempowering behaviors and thereby break through to the next level of our evolution, individually and collectively.

So, here’s this Eclipse’s central question: As a society, are we living in alignment with our values, with what makes us happy and satisfied? How about as individuals? Do we feel empowered and emotionally fulfilled? Are there any fears in our way to achieving progress? Or any rigid thought processes? All right, let’s look at the signs involved in this polarity,… To read the whole Lunar Eclipse article, and get all the Coaching questions, click here.

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 25º of Scorpio…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, or 0 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday early morning, at 5:28am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC, that will last for almost 2.5 hours, until 7:50am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world — you have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task now — something that might serve you long-term.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday very early morning until morning ahead of time.

Monday morning, at 7:50am  EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
