Super Full Moon in Aquarius – the article

On August 1st, at 2:32pm EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact in 9 degrees of Aquarius. The entrance of the Moon into Aquarius Monday night (July 31st) started the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon; the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun in fun-loving, expressive Leo.

Oppositions always resonate back to the conjunction of the planets involved. We are looking to see how far we have come since that conjunction. For example, with the Full Moon, we are looking back to the previous New Moon (in this case, July 17th) to see what has developed since then.

This is the second of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects. As each of us has a personal electromagnetic field and the adult body is composed of 55-70% water (depending on the person), SuperMoons also have a much greater effect on us.

From an astronomic point of view, they occur because the Moon’s orbit is elliptical, rather than a perfect circle, so the Moon’s distance from the Earth varies.

SuperMoons are 15% brighter than an average Full Moon and 30% brighter than when the Moon is at its farthest distance from the Earth. For more on the astronomy of SuperMoons, click here

Here are the astrological highlights of this Super Full Moon chart:

  • Jupiter in Taurus squares the Full Moon polarity & trines Mars in Virgo
  • Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) squares an exalted Venus in Leo & is approaching a Trine to Pluto in Capricorn
  • Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) opposes a Mercury/Mars alignment in Virgo
  • Neptune in Pisces is the Focal Point of a YOD, making a quincunx to an exalted Venus in Leo & the South Node in Libra
  • Venus in Leo also makes a Trine to the North Node in Aries
  • Pluto in Capricorn still squares the Moon Nodes polarity (Aries-Libra), since July 17th in those particular signs

But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity (and if you know this polarity already, feel free to skip this part of the article to the details of this particular Super Full Moon chart — the aspects):

The Moon in Aquarius opposes the Sun in Leo; this highlights the power of our individual creativity and the exponential potency of collaboration. Each of us is invited to reclaim ourselves and add our voice, heart, and hands to something that has meaning for us.

The invitation here is to dare to be different and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole.

The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth. The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of…

The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth. The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our heads with our hearts, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity, and we create and connect from love instead of fear. Given that Leo represents our individual self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question is raised: How can we best achieve a balance between these two energies? Or perhaps even an integration?

For the next two weeks, we’ll be looking for answers to this question, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.

Even the brightest of Full Moons has a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace.

As always with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of getting triggered and jumping to conclusions; we need to make sure we take time to respond rather than react.

Back to the shadow sides of this Super Full Moon — let’s start with Leo’s shadow side:

Leo’s shadow can show up as self-centeredness or narcissism — picture a child that cannot see beyond itself, is not aware of other people in the room, and cannot look past the current moment to the consequences down the line.

Ask yourself: Where in my life do I take things too personally? If I’m being completely honest, have I ever created drama when I couldn’t see a way to possess what I desire? Where do I tend to be self-indulgent? What role does pride play?

The less self-connection and self-knowledge we possess, the more we depend on others for our identity.

In order to develop a healthy connection to our inner child, we must learn to keep an open heart and let ourselves be playful and creative; we must also learn to express our needs and desires, so we can have open, authentic conversations with other people. This requires courage and self-confidence.

So ask yourself: What if I expressed myself with 5% more courage? What might open up if I did that with my heart as my center? What might my world look like if I allowed my light to shine just 5% brighter?

Now let’s look at Aquarius’s shadow side: this can show up when we get overly attached to the mind and its functions, especially idealized visions, rigid thinking about the future, etc. “Headiness” kicks in and the mind’s activity goes to an all-time high.

The shadow side of Aquarius may hold lofty ideals, but leave us unaware of how we ourselves must “be the change we wish to see in the world” — instead, we want others to be that change

The classic setup here sees us disconnecting from inner moment-to-moment joy for the sake of improving our future, “humanity”, or “the world at large” — the latter two stem from Aquarius’s association with group consciousness and group-mind.

The shadow side of Aquarius thus expresses itself in herd mentality, where peer pressure can drive people to conform and react — often unconsciously.

Fear of rejection or ostracism, might have us shy away from standing out, so ask yourself (and be really honest with yourself here): How have I avoided following my heart so I can “keep in with the crowd” or a particular group of people? What might I do differently if I gave 5% less energy to fears of ridicule or rejection?

As mentioned earlier, we are invited to balance and integrate the two polarities involved — we are, in fact, invited to merge them to bring about a brighter future for humankind, so ask yourself: What would it look like if I gave the go-ahead for that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that, right now?

This also means it’s important to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others, so as best as you can, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions? Am I coming from love and the heart? Or fear and survival?

Now let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Super Full Moon chart: Let’s first start with the rulers of Aquarius: Uranus & Saturn

Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) squares an exalted Venus in Leo & is approaching a Trine to Pluto in Capricorn. Let’s start with the Square to Venus — not only exalted until August 2nd but also in her Retrograde motion since July 22nd, which we will discuss in great detail in our next Forecasting Forum on August 2nd at 5pm EDT/2pm PT!

==> Join us live or watch the mp4-video presentation to gain a better perspective about what’s going on for you personally in regards to financial, self-worth & relationship issues… and how to use this Retrograde phase (that lasts until Sept. 3rd) to your advantage. ==> Register now!

Reading this after August 2nd? Get the mp4-video presentation of this webinar here.

Due to Venus’ Station & Retrograde phases the Square to Uranus has been building since June 24th, was exact on July 2nd, and will be exact again on August 9th & September 29th.

With Uranus’ Square to Venus, priorities may shift. We are asked to grow beyond what we know and have experienced in the past in regards to our relationships (especially romantic ones) and joyful friendships, in connection to our children or our inner child.

We may feel some instability or restlessness. So, as best as you can, keep your mind and heart open: if something demands elimination or change, it was waiting for that shift to happen anyway.

Ask yourself: How flexible could I allow myself to be? Am I taking things personally that are already written? Or that have nothing to do with me directly? What has been waiting to shift since June? What needs to be expressed? Where do we need more space with others?

Uranus is also approaching a Trine to Pluto (now being back in Capricorn for the rest of the year). This feels as though our higher Self is orchestrating some supportive scenarios for us. All we need to do is trust the process and hang in there with our hearts and minds wide open…

Allowing the shifts to happen… the less scared we are of our future the better. This Trine will become exact in 2025, so it is a process that is unfolding for us all.

Ask yourself: What challenges did I face from 2012-2015? What supportive scenarios might be coming my way now?

Collectively we have been undergoing a social transformation. We are ready to go to a place that supports our future goals.

What started with the conjunction in the mid 60ies, was challenged in the mid-2010’s, and will now be able to come to a more supportive conclusion. One that supports our physical reality in the long run. Again, the less scared we are of our future the better.

Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) opposes a Mercury/Mars alignment in Virgo. This opposition asks us to slow down a notch, especially when it comes to communication and learning or processing information.

We may want to move really fast, but going faster is not going to be more beneficial at this time and will not give us any long-term fulfillment.

Ask yourself: What do I notice when I direct my attention to this now-moment, connecting with my direct experience of life, right here, right now?

What if the voice in my head, that narrates and comments on everything, was just an aspect of who I am — or even just something I’m aware of, and not the totality of who I am?

And if I’m more than just that voice, what else am I — in other words, what is beyond “thinking”?

Jupiter in Taurus squares the Full Moon polarity (Aquarius-Leo) & trines Mars in Virgo. Let’s start with the T-Square involving Jupiter and the Full Moon polarity:

We receive extensive programming from the day we are born — from our parents, education, culture, religion, nationality, and more. It takes a great deal of courage and effort to individuate, transcend our programming, and live from our authentic essence rather than our conditioned persona.

This T-Square with Jupiter as the Focal Point reminds us that our values are connected to social conditioning and that a new perspective on what’s important or meaningful to us is essential in order to individuate and express ourselves fully and from the heart!

Ask yourself: Are my current values and beliefs a reflection of my highest truth? What attitudes or beliefs could I set free that no longer serve my growth and individuation process?

What if my self-worth was not determined by other people’s ideas of what it means to be worthy? What if my “worth” was established by the fact of my birth? Could I value myself exactly as I am and as I am not?

With any T-Square, we are invited to integrate the opposite sign of the Focal planet (aka the empty leg).

In this case, we are looking at integrating the Scorpio energy. Here, we are invited to act on our inner wisdom and honor what is true for us while respecting the deep processes of others, as well as our own.

Ask yourself: Could I take a closer look at my beliefs and attitudes around my own traumas and fears? Could I explore my comfort levels when it comes to intimate, authentic connections? What might be possible if I embraced all of me — my light and my darkness?

What is possible when I connect to people who appreciate my enthusiasm for “the good things in life”? Might I have stronger emotional connections with people who share my current belief systems? Could I see an energetic alignment and misalignment with others rather than “right” or “wrong”, “good” or “bad”?

Jupiter’s Trine to Mars in Virgo, allows us to be more specific about what serves us in our daily work and health routines. We are more able to expand our pocketbook, by making practical, discerning decisions.

Ask yourself: What actions are calling to me? What would work best in my daily work or health routines at this time? What might serve me and others in a very practical way? What “I”s and “T”s need to be dotted and crossed right now?

Neptune in Pisces is the Focal Point of a YOD, making a quincunx to an exalted Venus in Leo & the South Node in Libra. A Yod consists of two Quincunxes — aspects that signal inner discomfort and the need for some adjustments.

Both Quincunxes are pointing towards Neptune in Pisces, so the adjustments in question must be made so we can experience our divine nature and energetic connection to all of life. We are invited to become more aware of what keeps us from having a healthy connection to the energetic/spiritual realm.

For the next 14 days, ask yourself: What do I sense when I tune into my divine nature? When I listen to the subtle voice of my intuition?

What if my energy body needed a good amount of rest and alone-time — even when the outside world needs something from me? Even when another part of me experiences a pull to socialize and be actively engaged with others?

What if I trusted the flow of life 5% more? Even when it feels uncomfortable to do so?

Venus in Leo (exalted & retrograde) also makes a Trine to the North Node in Aries. This shows us that our inner appreciation of ourselves and our ability to shine our own individual light supports our path toward interdependence and self-realization.

We are currently working on having the courage to be our authentic Selves without apologies, yet keeping an open heart and feeling grateful for all the gifts we already have in our lives.

If we are not able to be ourselves or if we are not able to effectively collaborate with others, we may never be able to experience true interdependence but rather stay co-dependent or alone.

Ask yourself: What am I asked to embrace or express about myself that has been dormant inside of me for quite a while? What would it look like to bring a healthy sense of identity, courage, and joyful self-expression to my collaborations and connections with others?

Pluto in Capricorn still squares the Moon Nodes polarity (Aries-Libra), and since July 17th in those particular signs… We are invited to let go of what is destructive — either to ourselves or to others. This is a huge opportunity to release past patterns that we’ve been carrying for decades — including those that span generations.

Ask yourself: What do I see? What am I painfully aware of? What stems from the past and needs to be transformed?

What might open up if I placed 5% more focus on self-care and self-nurturing? Could I release all fears and trust life?

To sum it all up, this Super Full Moon highlights the archetypes of individuality and diversity, creativity and collaboration, passion and progress. It urges us to remember that we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution — that we were born for this challenging transition on Planet Earth.

We now have the power to alter our consciousness and release deeply ingrained patterns and beliefs. Extra rest, hydration, and time in Nature helps ground and integrate these intense shifts that are happening.

When uncertain, ask to be shown the next step — and at all times, do your best to listen to your body, and be extra kind to yourself and others.

Sending love and compassionate care helps to soften the energetic field that connects us all, making it easier for others to feel a deeper resonant connection in their heart.

We can come together to create the difference we want to see, rather than waiting for something to happen… Each person’s emotions, attitudes and intentions affect the energetic field…

Ask yourself: What role do I wish to play at this pivotal time on Earth? Could I be open to the people, places, and situations guiding me and bringing me the next clue?

Could I suspend my brilliant theories about the way the world works (or used to work)? Could I accept the possibility that what I have learned in the past may not be the most reliable guide to understanding the new way of life that is unfolding?

And always remember: If you look into your own heart and see the strength and love lying there, you can begin to reclaim yourself, remember your divinity and interdependence, choose love over fear, and lift yourself and humanity out of the old paradigm of separation and scarcity.

Super Full Moon in Capricorn — the article

On July 3rd, at 7:39am EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun in 11 degrees of Capricorn. To learn more about this month’s Full Moon and if you are a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Full Moon video.

Just a quick reminder: you have until July 3rd at midnight EDT to sign up for the next FORECASTING FORUM with the Early Bird Special! If you are a Star Member already, you are automatically registered! More about the specifics towards the end of this article…

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is a “Full SuperMoon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

Secondly, lots of planets are involved in this Super Full Moon chart:

  • Mercury aligns with the Sun in Cancer
  • the Moon in Capricorn & Saturn in Pisces make several aspects to multiple planets
  • Venus aligns with Mars in Leo
  • Venus & Mars both square Uranus in Taurus, and they both trine Chiron in Aries

Neptune in Pisces is still stationing and thus more exalted — indicating that something is in our face and demands our awareness in connection with the feminine energies (such as allowing, resting, sensing, intuiting, and feeling into the flow of things…) and all of this plays an essential role for the next two weeks, so buckle up!

Saturn in Pisces plays a huge role in this Full Moon chart, firstly because it is the ruler of Capricorn and, consequently, also the ruler of this Full Moon.

Secondly, Saturn also sextiles the Moon in Capricorn, making the next two weeks an opportunity for us to focus on what’s essential and bring a sense of flow to our long-term goals or plans. More details about Saturn’s other aspects in a moment…

First, let’s look at the polarities of this Full Moon: The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn opposes the Sun & Mercury in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the connection we have to our feelings and emotional needs, plus our ability to feel emotionally connected to others (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

The Moon, in opposition to the Mercury/Sun alignment in Cancer, asks us to balance loving, caring connection and sharing against our need to achieve our long-term goals. As best as you can, steer by…

As best as you can, steer by your own inner compass and bring your caring self to the world in a spirit of integrity and responsibility — and keep in mind that as we heal our past, we become a source of light and support for others.

Ask yourself: What would self-responsible self-care look like? How does my inner life inform my outer? What am I ready to talk about or share from my past — in a vulnerable way? If people hung on my every word, what would I share then? What might I hold back from sharing?

How might nurturing myself support true empowerment and self-alignment in the outside world? Might it also help grant authentic connections toward others? And perhaps even the world at large?

What do I need to change to be better aligned with my needs? Do I need to move? Pursue another vocation? Process or Heal something from the past?

Any Full Moon also has us look more closely at the denser vibrations or shadow components of the energies involved.

Cancer: This is our ability to receive and to feel safe from within — but what protected us in the past may no longer serve, as our needs may have changed over time.

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on simply out of familiarity? What do I need to feel safe in the world, in this now moment?

What if self-care led to self-alignment? What if the same were true of nurturing my feeling body? Given those possibilities, might it be worth spending 5% more time and energy on self-care, just as an experiment?

With Capricorn, we need to take a look at those parts of ourselves that are domineering, rigid, unforgiving, self-servingly ambitious, status-seeking, and hierarchical.

As best as you can, be really honest with yourself, and ask: What is my relationship to “control”? Where do I try to control life? Other people? Where do I control myself by suppressing my needs or feelings? Where or when do I allow others to control me? Is it at least possible that a slower step-by-step approach might improve my ability to be present to what’s needed in the moment? And what’s in alignment with myself?

Too much emphasis on the Cancer archetype — too much subjectivity, unprocessed feelings, and suppressed needs (which leads to being resentful of neglecting our own needs) — and we become reactive, we don’t feel safe in the world or with others — our fight or flight, freeze or flock reptilian brain kicks in.

Too much emphasis on the Capricorn archetype narrows our vision, by having us look outside of ourselves for approval and validation (wanting to be told what to do and who to be), or by becoming rigid about where we stand and what we want to achieve (wanting to control others). Fears of not being valued within our society can kick in or flare up.

Pluto started its journey through Capricorn in 2008; since then, we have increasingly been confronted with Capricorn’s Shadow side, both “out there” in the world and within. With Pluto back in Capricorn for the rest of the year, we are getting a chance to complete this journey. We are invited to do our best to learn from what hasn’t been working and how not to give our power away to anyone outside of ourselves.

Let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Super Full Moon chart:

The Moon rules Cancer, and besides its opposition to the Sun/Mercury alignment in Cancer, it also trines Jupiter in Taurus, sextiles Saturn in Pisces, and approaches a Square to Chiron in Aries. Let’s unpack all of that…

The Moon’s Trine to Jupiter in Taurus indicates excitement about our long-term goals and our ability to achieve them. We can explore our talents and financial resources in a way that supports sustainability and social recognition.

Our positive attitude helps us take steps that get us unstuck, and we can stick with something long enough to overcome any challenges, so ask yourself: What could I tackle right now that seemed impossible before?

The Moon’s Square to Chiron in Aries creates some tension but is also an invitation to heal and get in touch with our own humanity. We may feel stretched or stressed by a situation or interaction involving a long-term goal. It’s a time when it’s especially good to be aware of our human limitations and insecurities.

Ask yourself: Other than career and long-term goals, where could I channel my impatient “masculine” energies into something physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually satisfying?

Could I acknowledge my humanity when triggers appear? Could I allow others to be human?

Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently in Pisces, where it makes a Sextile to Jupiter in Taurus, the Moon in Capricorn, and a Trine to the Sun in Cancer

Saturn’s Sextile to Jupiter in Taurus is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we are more likely to find an increased focus on spiritual, inner self-mastery, coupled with a sense of enthusiasm about our physical comforts and realities. It’s an opportunity to see things from a different perspective.

Ask yourself: How might sourcing my energy from within support a stronger connection to myself and my talents?

What might be possible if I got enthusiastic about my current physical reality? How might a practical and long-term sustainable approach towards my body or finances serve my enjoyment of life in the long run?

Saturn’s Sextile to the Moon and its Trine to the Sun gives us a chance to balance the opposition between the Full Moon polarities by focusing on the present moment and our intuitive connection to All.

We are invited to bring more maturity, respect, and integrity to our connection with all of life — and this is a good time to look for a more authentic relationship with our “inner knowing & sensing”.

Ask yourself: Could I trust my inner knowing (or intuition) 5% more than I have previously? What spiritual practices could support me on this journey inwards? What resonates with my inner core? What is realistic and practical? What practices are sustainable for the long haul? What am I being asked to give up, so I can have a stronger connection to my inner guidance?

Can I feel my interconnectivity with nature? With all of life? With the cosmos? How might mutual respect and compassion create a more sustainable relationship?

Some other aspects in this Super Full Moon chart: Venus aligns with Mars in Leo, and they both square Uranus in Taurus and trine Chiron in Aries.

Let’s start with the alignment between Venus & Mars in Leo: This is a very passionate combination: we are more able to connect action with receptivity, assertiveness with allowing, and visa versa. Since this alignment is taking place in Leo, having fun is key.

Over the next two weeks, ask yourself: What is asking to be expressed, whole-heartedly? Could I bring a playful and fun approach to whatever I engage with or do?

Now, let’s look at the Venus-Mars Square to Uranus in Taurus: Things may take a different turn regarding what’s truly important to us. However, this is a chance to re-arrange things in our lives that are no longer satisfying. Keep your mind and heart open: if something demands elimination or change, it was waiting for that shift to happen anyway.

Ask yourself: What priorities are shifting at this time? Where do I need to have more distance or space so I can see what’s keeping me stuck? How might I channel this restless energy into projects asking for progress? Where am I able to innovate? Could I agree to disagree?

As best as you can, find creative solutions and stay flexible and adaptable. This is not the best time to take things too personally — but then again, is there ever a good time for that?

If you start to feel any resistance towards people, places, or situations, ask yourself: could I simply allow myself to feel this resistance? Give it space? Allow it to be there, just for a moment? And once I have done that, could I set it free? Would I set it free? Would now be a good moment to do so?

And last but not least, the Venus-Mars Trine to Chiron in Aries: With this combo, a more heart-centered, innocent, or courageous approach can carry us through feelings of insecurity or shame.

Ask yourself: How complex could I allow myself to be? Could I have fun with all of my complexities? How about everyone else out there in the world — could I permit them to be just as complex?

We also more easily see beauty in human weaknesses rather than fault — it’s a strong time for seeing potential in one another. What potential do you see?

To sum it all up for this Super Full Moon: CancerCapricorn are both receptive “yin” energies, and so are Pisces, and Taurus. As we have 8 planets, plus the Moon Nodes in Yin-signs in this Super Full Moon chart, as well as Neptune’s exalted energies, we are clearly asked to go within first, before making a move forward externally.

When we are able to experience a balance between inner and outer, and thereby come to feel safe and a valuable part of society, we can be both responsible and kind.

Ask yourself: What importance does nourishment have in my life? Do I know when I feel nourished physically? Emotionally? Spiritually? Mentally? Do I feel connected to all of life?

What’s keeping me separate, limited, or in fear? Could I be honest about that? And once I have acknowledged what that might be, could I decide to let it go, just for right now?

Super New Moon in Aries — the article

On March 21st, at 1:23pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 0º50’ minutes of Aries. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Click here to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

Before we get started, just a quick reminder: If you would like to have a better relationship with yourself and with others… On April 5th at 7:30pm EDT, we will have another 2-hour online Mini-Retreat: “Leap forward into Love — A Taste of Venus”.

This event is not being recorded, as it is very interactive and experiential, so we decided to make it live participation only!

If you were not able to join us in February for our last event, please mark the date for April in your calendar! ==> You can also register right now while the Early Registration fee is still available. I promise you won’t regret this!

This New Moon is unique in several ways: firstly, it is another SuperMoon (the fourth of four Super New Moons in a row). This means greater awareness of the issues connected to this particular New Moon energy.

Secondly, it is the first of two New Moons in a row in the same sign. The next Lunar cycle begins on April 20th — it will also be a New Moon in Aries and the first North Node Solar Eclipse in this fiery sign (it’s been 19 years since we had one of those — to be precise, the last one was in April 2004).

Another essential thing to note about this New Moon is the early degree it’s in. This Super New Moon occurs less than 24 hours after the Spring or Vernal Equinox — when the Sun moves into 0 degrees of Aries (an exalted degree). The New Moon becomes exact before it reaches 1 degree of Aries.

A New Moon in a cardinal sign at such a potent degree has lots of fire and initiation energy connected to it. Therefore anything we launch in the next two weeks has the chance to get off to a great start. That said, I recommend doing so before we enter Eclipse Season on April 6th, and certainly before April 10th, when we reach the 10-day mark before the Solar Eclipse becomes exact.

This New Moon chart has a Neptune/Sun/Moon/Mercury alignment in Pisces/Aries, followed by a Chiron-Jupiter alignment in Aries; in other words, we have one planet in Pisces, four planets, and one asteroid in Aries. This Line-up in Aries heightens the need for something new and for taking inspired actions.

Since Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is part of this Line-up, we are being asked to balance our approach to life by integrating the divine feminine and uplifting the sacred masculine. We are being asked to…

We are being asked to step more fully into the divine masculine — the fire within us that burns for self-realization, freedom to walk our unique path, and courage to embrace all facets of ourselves (human & spirit).

Ask yourself: What is my relationship to the “divine” or “sacred” masculine? Have I been able to explore this energy within me? Outside of me?

In contrast to that “sacred” masculine, what about the “profane” or “secular” masculine needs my understanding and my compassion, if I am to step more fully into a holistic experience of that energy? By “holistic,” I mean approaching the “human experience” as a whole, seeing the entire system, rather than looking at slices or trying to tweak isolated parts of it.

Chiron knows that there is no separation between physical and spiritual, or between humanity and the rest of creation; it teaches us that when we help heal someone else, we also help heal ourselves.

For a more in-depth understanding of Chiron in Aries, please watch my webinar: “Healing the Wounded Masculine; now available on my website at a discounted price: click here to learn more.

Aries and its ruling planet Mars correspond with the quest to develop courage — not fearlessness, but the conscious choice to act in spite of fear — some call this the “Warrior Energy”.

This Super New Moon invites us to step into our courage around our sensitivities and sensing of things, communicating or connecting with others, and our healing process. Of course, one of the many ways we can demonstrate courage is to allow ourselves to be in the condition of “not knowing” or “beginner’s mind”. At these times, we are more present, and our creative potential is heightened.

Ask yourself: Where could I bring a “beginner’s mind” to bear? Where do I need to let go of needing to know everything before I begin?

Mars (the ruler of Aries) is currently in at a late degree of Gemini, still squaring Neptune in Pisces, and it also creates an out-of-sign Square with the New Moon in 0.5 degrees of Aries

Mars in Gemini invites us to use our words and thoughts coherently, whereas Neptune in Pisces provides us a far greater access to divine intelligence.

Ask yourself: How might a “fluid intelligence” think? How could I remain as curious and as compassionate as possible? Could I monitor my feelings 5% more closely? What does my “intuitive intelligence” have to say?

With this aspect, we could feel overwhelmed or mentally scattered; should you observe that in yourself, try asking: What if rushing was not faster? What might happen if I slowed down and listened to my intuition, for just a moment, instead of aimlessly zooming ahead?

We could over- or underestimate our passion, abilities, and timing. Ask yourself: Is my mind trying to override my intuitive knowing? If so, ask: Am I taking breaks? Allowing myself to tune in? Can I trust I will take the necessary actions when the timing is “right”?

The good news is that from March 18th – March 25th, Mars in Gemini & Mercury in Aries are in each other’s signs, which creates a mutual reception. This means that they support each other’s agenda.

This provides an opportunity to learn faster, dare to take in new, unfamiliar information, or have conversations that require us to step outside our comfort zone.

On the one hand we feel enthusiastic and alive, but we may also feel fidgety or full of nervous energy, maybe also impatient. If you are experiencing some of the latter, ask yourself: What if I slowed down just 5% when connecting with others? What might I discover about myself and my desires if I allowed myself to listen to them 5% more closely?

What if I directed 5% more awareness to my inner dialog? Might this awareness support me in sharing more effectively?

Mars is also approaching a Quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn; Pluto is in the last minutes of this cardinal sign that it’s been journeying through since 2008.

Lots of changes are coming within the next four days after this New Moon becomes exact:

Pluto will leave Capricorn for the first time in 15 years, and move into Aquarius on March 23rd (until June 11th). We will address this in great detail in our next Forecasting Forum on April 7th. Feel free to join us live or watch the recording of this powerful 90 minute webinar. 👉 Either way to register for this month’s Forum only, click here

For this New Moon article, I will say briefly that this short visit into Aquarius for two months and three weeks will give us some insight as to what themes we will be dealing with over the next 20 years when Pluto returns and stays for good in Aquarius in 2024-2044.

As Pluto is always a long-term empowerment process, we are looking to become more conscious of our social roles, and how we can transform social norms, and bring about profound social changes that support and empower most. Technology, innovations, and Artificial Intelligence will be a big focus.

After May 23rd, ask yourself: How does group consciousness empower or disempower me? What does my heart know, that my head needs to hear? What must I investigate more closely to move into an empowered future?

With Pluto’s move into Aquarius on the 23rd, we will immediately feel some tension that might get uncomfortable for some. Firstly, Pluto will square the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio.

The North Node in Taurus increases our desire for physical and material security and stability. At the same time, the South Node in Scorpio reveals the emotional issues that need to be released or made conscious, such as processes around loss or grieving, the abuse of power, corruption, secrecy, the fear of death, lack, or the fear of further disempowerment or trauma in our future.

As Pluto squares this powerful polarity, we feel a strong urge us to break free from the past and anything that is no longer empowering for us.

Ask yourself: Am I ready for some profound changes in my life? In society? Where am I looking to create more empowerment in my life? What about in the lives of others? What needs to happen so I can shift my current situation?

Mars will leave Gemini for the first time in 7 months and move into Cancer on March 25th. This should feel like a relief, especially for those with attention deficit issues or who easily become scattered-brained.

Our nervous systems will thank us as well. Too much mental activity and constant movement bring about an imbalance in the body, especially in the nervous system.

When Pluto moves into 0º of Aquarius and Mars moves into 0º of Cancer, a Quincunx between these two planets becomes exact that started to build from March 22nd on (until March 28th, exact on March 25th). Quincunxes can affect our health or well-being, so take extra care of yourself during those six days.

This aspect has an air of intensity, and we get the sense that something very powerful is taking place in our bodies, surroundings, or family/home.

If you are experiencing a power struggle, if you are feeling out of control, or just simply uncomfortable with the intensity that you feel all around you or inside of you, ask yourself:

Could I allow myself to go deeper rather than faster? What might it look like if I thought of my future in terms of inclusivity and diversity, rather than taking steps that keep me safe or stuck in the past?

How could I refrain from panicking on a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual level?

Could I slow down enough to stay away from impulsive actions that come from a fearful or self-protective place? What might “trusting the path to my future” look like?

And last but not least, I would like to talk about Venus making an exact conjunction with the North Node in Taurus and approaching a conjunction with Uranus in Taurus, which will be exact on March 30th.

The Venus/North Node aligment in Taurus invites us to manage our finances better, with more attention to authentic values and stability — as well as the elimination of anything that no longer serves us, including fears or behaviors stemming from past trauma or disempowerment.

Ask yourself: What values can I no longer compromise on, no matter what? What if inner confidence met emotional authenticity? Could I be open to the people, places, and things that can make that “meeting” a reality?

Venus approaching a conjunction with Uranus in Taurus gives us permission to do something unusual with our one-on-one relationships, with our material resources — to break the routine — to find our unique way with how we want to relate to ourselves and others.

Ask yourself: How could I give myself and my bank account some breathing space? How could I provide that for others? How open and flexible could I be until early April? And perhaps even beyond? In what unusual ways could I connect to myself? Or experiment with new ways for receiving value or exchanging it with others?

To sum it all up: The highest expression of the Aries energy comes when we lead others by example and inspiration — they follow because they see our courage, our “human-ness”, our enthusiasm for life, and they want to be a part of that, or follow suit.

Ask yourself: What might open up if, once a day for the next 28 days, I tuned into myself and simply listened to the higher vibrations of my being? What if I dared to lead from a humble, self-compassionate, fluid place, exactly as I am?

As best as you can, be patient and brave — listen to your inner voice and bring your unique, passionate, human Self to the world. Remember that each of us makes this journey in our own way, and in our own time, so focus on yourself —your path, your truth — rather than on what lies beyond your control.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of either Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Cancer, or 29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some intentions for this month’s Moon cycle — this process is potent with the New Moon in Aries — and as always, this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact (and definitely not during a Moon void of course).

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions will be between 1:23pm on March 21st and 1:13pm on March 23rd (as always, all times are EDT- New York time). For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter. I will post reminders on March 21st in the afternoon, March 22nd throughout the day, and the morning of March 23rd to let you know the most potent times to set your intentions.

Super New Moon in Aquarius — the article

On Jan. 21st at 3:53pm EST, a powerful New Moon in 1.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact; this is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. I also recommend you watch my video on the subject.

This New Moon is another SuperMoon (the second of four Super New Moons in a row). These occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New at its closest distance to the Earth and are more powerful. They generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies, leading to significant shifts in consciousness.

Since this one occurs in Aquarius, this Super New Moon invites us to go out there and connect with “our people”– with a tribe that resonates, a cause that feels aligned with our values and our need for stability and comfort, a connection that serves a larger vision for our financial future and the future of our planet etc.

We have three exalted planets in this Super New Moon chart:

  • Mercury (the planet of communication & how we process information)
  • Mars (the planet of passion & going after our goals)
  • Uranus (the planet of breakthroughs and innovation)

Mars in Gemini & Mercury in Capricorn are no longer in their Retrograde phases at the time of the New Moon, but they are still moving slower than usual, trying to catch up to their regular speed after coming to a halt on Jan. 12th and 18th. More about that in a little bit…

Uranus is at its most exalted, as it is coming to a halt only 26 hours after the New Moon becomes exact, ending its 5-months Retrograde phase in 15º of Taurus. More about this below as well…

With all this, we are being asked to be extra-mindful about connecting to our body, our finances, and the planet in an innovative and unique way; we are also being asked to be extra mindful about how we share and communicate, and what our inner dialog reveals about ourselves and where we are at.

The good news: from January 23rd to April 21st, all planets will be in forward motion. This indicates an accelerated time of manifestation for most of us — especially connected to new projects or ideas.

Ask yourself: What in my life is asking for accelerated progress? What could I do if I had the support of the Universe?

Let’s first talk a little bit about Aquarius and what this energy represents before jumping into the aspects of this Super New Moon chart:

The highest vibration of Aquarius represents…

The highest vibration of Aquarius represents the threshold of individuation and the attainment of group consciousness, where we transcend differences of gender, race, religion, and nationality and realize that we are all members of the human race. It is the energy of equality and diversity, freedom and reform, collaboration, and community.

With the synergistic power of Aquarius —where combined efforts achieve far more than individual actions and where everyone matters — we could make tremendous progress in a short amount of time.

The Super New Moon in Aquarius trines an exalted Mars in Gemini and sextiles Jupiter on Aries.

The Trine to Mars invites us to socialize and connect with others. Great ideas and concepts can be shared over the next four weeks. The connections we make are more likely to be based on an exchange of information. This can be a very productive time.

Ask yourself: What might I share with my tribe if I wanted to passionately express something that might make other people’s lives better? What actions would bring me closer to my desired personal and global future? What could I teach or learn that could proactively support my healing process?

The Sextile to Jupiter invites us to connect and collaborate with like-minded people and start something that gets us excited about the future.

Ask yourself: What adventure would help expand perspectives for myself and other people? How could I be an example for the like-minded? What kind of perspectives about myself would support a beneficial outcome in my larger communities or networks? What attitudes towards life might do the same?

Again, Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, comes to a halt (stations direct) at 15 degrees of Taurus on Jan. 22nd and ends its 5-month Retrograde phase only 26 hours after the Super New Moon becomes exact.

The planet’s energy has been “louder” since January 8th moving slower than usual; it will be exalted until Feb. 7th and aligns closely to the North Node in Taurus. So it’s time to make a real – in other words, not merely cosmetic — change in at least one area of our life.

Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, increasing our access to innovative thinking and alternative solutions; its Station phase could also coincide with revelations, reversals, or other unexpected events, such as earthquakes or severe weather.

We are being asked to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.

Uranus in Taurus emphasizes the urgency of changing our relationship with the Earth — from domination and exploitation to stewardship and co-creation.

Ask yourself: Looking back over the past five months, what have I learned about honoring my body? What about my material and financial resources? Or my talents? In what ways have I started to elevate my thinking? Am I ready to honor my own unique approach? Where am I prepared to take a giant leap forward?

Mercury comes to a halt — ending its 3-week Retrograde phase — only 3.5 days before the New Moon becomes exact (on Jan. 18th in the morning), while Mars ended its 2.5 months Retrograde phase already on Jan. 12th in the late afternoon.

When a planet changes directions, its energy will be “louder” for some days before and after that shift. Mars has been “louder” since Jan. 1st and will continue to ask for our attention until Jan. 24th. Mercury will still be exalted until Jan. 23rd.

When planets end Retrograde phases, they are ready to move forward and bring to the world whatever material they have learned and integrated during the Retrograde.

Ask yourself: What did I learn about my long-term goals, my aspirations, and how I want to show up out there in the world (within current social structures)? Where are my limitations? Where does my expertise lie?

What have I learned about my masculine energies (assertion, anger, pro-activity, independence, passion, sex drive, etc.) and the actions I took or couldn’t take?

When am I doing too much? Not enough? Am I rushing things? Do I get impatient with myself? With others? Am I expecting too much of myself or others? What is my nervous system telling me about my current state?

What am I ready to bring to the world from all those realizations? What felt most in alignment with my inner core?

The exalted Uranus in Taurus aligns with the North Node and trines an exalted Mercury in Capricorn (Mercury consequently sextiles the South Node in Scorpio). So, let’s unpack that…

The alignment between Uranus and the North Node invites us collectively and individually to make an effort to form a unique relationship with the physical world — with our bodies, resources, and the Earth.

This alignment could bring a lot of nervous energy with it, along with a lot of unknowns. Still, for those of us who have the willingness to innovate, do something different, something unusual — break the routine — we will get rewarded and feel fulfilled down the line.

Ask yourself: What might be a new way of seeing, using, and approaching my possessions, valuables, money, and talents?

Is there anything that I could point to that might be keeping me in a rut? What if I consciously broke away from situations that limit how I honor myself and my talents?

We may experience sudden insights about our finances, physical reality, the planet, and what’s most important to us right now and for our future.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to question prevailing norms connected to my physical reality? Where could I explore unconventional alternatives? Could I be willing to operate with little-to-no social approval regarding my values, preferences, or body?

Mercury’s Trine to the Uranus/North Node alignment (and Sextile to the South Node) indicates that realistic thought processes — including our sobering inner dialog — are a big part of our ability to balance the traumatic, emotional, and interruptive physical reality of our current Soul’s Journey.

Ask yourself: If my body was wired for survival, what would its natural response be to any perceived threat? How could I settle and soothe myself and my body when these natural survival reactions show up? What if I chose to tune in and trust my authority rather than tune outwards and trust everyone else?

If we are open to it, we can receive inspiration from higher places and use this inspiration to create a better future for ourselves… making it easier to find new solutions to old problems. Consequently, we will more easily connect with integrity and mastery out there in the world when sharing our vision for a more abundant future.

Ask yourself: Am I ready to experiment — and at the same time stay realistic about my current earthly realities? Could I open to inspiration from higher places? My higher Self? Where could I apply new solutions to old problems?

What does an abundant future look like to me? Do I have what it takes to create this abundant future for myself? Do I come from integrity? Self-mastery? Do I trust my own authority? Do I value my unique talents?

I would also like to mention that Uranus in Taurus will be in mutual reception with Venus in Aquarius until January 26th. This means that they are in each other signs and support each other’s agenda. This provides an opportunity to form a shared vision and a more tolerant approach to our interactions.

Ask yourself: How open-minded and flexible could I allow myself to be? What alternative tools might I employ that allow for greater freedom or diversity in my life (financially or otherwise)?

What do I value in my affiliations with like-minded people? What could be more easily addressed regarding any group experiences? Humanitarian causes? Or technology? What do I value about my ability to make a unique difference in my communities or networks?

Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, aligns with Venus in Aquarius at the time of the Super New Moon. Saturn symbolizes form and structure on all levels, from personal ego constructs, patterns, and beliefs, to governments, corporations, and institutions of all kinds. With Saturn, we are learning about limits, responsibility, and becoming our own authority.

We are asked to take responsibility for our role in the collective, turn a critical eye on everything we envision for our future, and adopt an objective, scientific approach.

We are individually and collectively invited to clarify our thinking and take a closer look at the agreements we have made and are currently making with each other on a collective level.

As best as you can, slow down a little, and focus on what can be done within the limitations that you are currently experiencing. Rushing will backfire right now.

Ask yourself: What works for me? What doesn’t? Does my participation in various groups or networks align with who I am? Or with where I see myself five years from now? What relationships or affiliations do I genuinely want to commit myself to?

Do the communities in my life (whether local or online) genuinely resonate with my vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago? Which “cooperations” or businesses do I want to support? Which do I want to disconnect or part myself from?

This is not the best time to get involved in brand-new relationships, collaborations, groups, or “good causes”.

Ask yourself: Could I focus on a new sense of responsibility in my existing relationships? Am I ready to face any problems in my relationships that have been swept under the rug?

Where do I choose to recommit? Are there any old friends with whom I want to renew ties? Business collaborators? Group affiliations? Can I show up responsibly and maturely?

Let’s talk about some of the other aspects in this New Moon chart:

The exalted Mercury in Capricorn is the most aspected planet in this Super New Moon chart. It not only connects with Uranus and the Moon Nodes as we have previously discussed, but it also squares Jupiter and Chiron in Aries and makes a quincunx to Mars in Gemini — which is part of a Yod-configuration, with Mars as the Focal Point of that Yod. Now let’s unpack all of that….

Let’s start with the Square between Mercury and the Jupiter/Chiron alignment in Aries. All Squares asks us to evolve and grow beyond where we used to be and shift our perspective, so we can change directions and go further.

With this particular Square, “listening” might not be our strong suit: we want to share our thoughts and feelings about our healing process or our past wounding without limitations and are thus inclined to exaggeration or unrealistic expectations, often unintended.

Impatience and self-righteousness might also show up, but moving faster than our current reality allows us to, will not necessarily get us where we would like to be on our healing journey. Unfortunately, this might also bring up feelings of shame or insecurities.

Ask yourself: What if I slowed down just 5% when limitations or insecurities come up? What if slowing down helped me listen to myself 5% more? What might I hear then?

What might become possible in any of my ventures if I were 5% more aware of the assumptions I am making at any given moment? Or of any emotional triggers from my past wounding? Or of my expectations?

Am I expecting too much of myself in connection to my healing journey? Too little? What if I took the pressure off, just for a moment? What would I be able to contribute to the world if I embraced my humanity just 5% more? If I brought 5% more acceptance to my healing process?

As best as you can, stretch yourself — and be open to bringing love and understanding to yourself and others 🙂

We will also talk about the Jupiter/Chiron alignment in Aries in our next Forecasting Forum on Monday, Feb. 6th at 5pm EST/2pm PST/10pm GMT and that’s on Feb. 7th at 9am Sydney-time (Australia), so feel free to join us for that! Early Bird Special (only $32) is still available until Feb. 4th at midnight EST!

Lastly, let’s talk about the Yod-aspect that involves Mercury & the South Node, with Mars as the Focal Point. A Yod-aspect always consists of two Quincunxes and one Sextile. The planet connected to the two Quincunxes is considered the Focal Point and needs our closest attention and awareness.

Quincunxes focus on the mismatch between two energies that have “very little to nothing”in common. An inner adjustment is thus needed. The best way to deal with a Quincunx is to stop looking for the exact solution but instead to seek ways to feel ok when things are not a perfect match — in other words, when something is uncomfortable and not in precise alignment. “Another perspective” and “flexibility” are helpful companions for quincunxes.

Given that the exalted Mars in Gemini becomes the Focus of this aspect here, pay close attention to your daily interactions & communications and ask: What adjustments are required for the next 28 days regarding my actions or desires? Am I too impulsive? Reactive? Impatient? Moving too fast? Too busy?

What is my body suggesting? Do I have a revved-up nervous system? Hyperactive or easily distracted thoughts? Do I spend too much time on my various communication devices? Is it hard for me to rest? To relax my body and mind?

How might I find a more conscious and healthy relationship with my inner Mars energy? How can I be courageous and passionate in my communications without getting sucked into self-protective or fearful patterns & behaviors from my past?

Could I get curious about any thinking patterns tied to the past? Could I do the same for social expectations or pressure? How might I stay independent and still be an integral part of society?

To sum it up, this Super New Moon reminds us that each of us is on a unique path and is also an integral part of the collective journey. When we do not take responsibility for our role in the collective — when we do not honor our unique contribution to society or our communities — we get stuck in feeling alienated, unable to relate to others who are different and isolate ourselves.

Ask yourself: What if I allowed myself to be both different and connected to others? What stops me from being me when I am with my “tribe”? What makes me unique? How could that spark inside me make a difference in my various networks or communities?

Imagine a world where everyone was a clone of yourself. Same features, personality, preferences, style, ideas, beliefs… same everything! How long could a world like that exist? How long before the human spirit perished?

As best as you can, remember why you are here at this momentous time of change on this planet. “Think Different”, keep your heart open, and come together. Help birth a new world one day at a time.

Ask yourself: What if innovation was the “new normal”? What if thinking out of the box was the grandest gift I could give to myself or others? What if I let go of the box entirely?

What if diversity was the greatest gift we could give each other at this time? What if time truly did “heal all”? If that were so, how much patience would be “just right”?

Again, I also recommend you watch my video on the subject.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 0-4 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or 29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Finally, let’s talk “New Moon Intentions” 🙂 The New Moon is the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and not during a Moon void of course phase.

That means that this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 3:53pm on Jan. 21st and 5:19am on Jan. 23rd, and then again, from 12:36pm until 3:53pm, also on Jan. 23rd -(New York Time/US Eastern Time)

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast), and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage and following me on TwitterI will post reminders to let you know when it is time to set your New Moon intentions 😉

Super Full Moon in Aquarius — the article

Please remember that due to a family matter, I will be taking a break from creating Full Moon videos until the end of the summer. All other Member content (including Full Moon articlesNew Moon videos, New Moon articles, and my Weekly Forecasts) will continue uninterrupted.

On  August 11th, at 9:36pm EDTthe Full Moon becomes exact in 19 degrees of Aquarius. The entrance of the Moon into Aquarius on Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 10th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon; the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun in fun-loving, expressive Leo.

Oppositions always resonate back to the conjunction of the planets involved. We are looking to see how far we have come since that conjunction. For example, with the Full Moon, we are looking back to the previous New Moon (in this case, July 28th), to see what has developed since then.

This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is another “Full SuperMoon” (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

The Moon in Aquarius also makes a conjunction with Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius). Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius), is exalted (stationing) at the time of this Super Full Moon, and is also still conjunct the North Node & Mars in Taurus; it has now become the Focus Point of a T-Square with the Full Moon. The Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio create a Grand Cross with the Full Moon polarity.

Since there are multiple Oppositions and Squares in this Super Full Moon chart, let’s take a look at what those represent: Oppositions require integration and balance, whereas Squares invite us to stretch and grow, as we may be experiencing challenges, and we are asked to overcome that which feels uncomfortable.

We also have three Trines and two Sextiles in this Full Moon chart. Trines feel supportive and give us a sense of ease. Sextiles are opportunities that require action. These are the major themes of this Super Full Moon chart and we will address them in detail in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity (and if you know this polarity already, feel free to skip to the details of this particular Super Full Moon chart — the aspects):

The Moon in Aquarius opposes the Sun in Leo; this highlights the power of our individual creativity and the exponential potency of collaboration. Each of us is invited to reclaim ourselves, and add our voice, heart, and hands to something that has meaning for us.

The invitation here is to dare to be different, and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth. The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our head with our heart, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity, and we create and connect from love instead of fear. Given that Leo represents our individual self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question is raised: How can we best achieve a balance between these two energies? Or perhaps even an integration?

For the next two weeks, we’ll be…

For the next two weeks, we’ll be looking for answers to this question, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.

Even the brightest of Full Moons has a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Super Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace.

The shadow side of Aquarius may hold lofty ideals, but leave us unaware how we ourselves must “be the change we wish to see in the world” — instead, we want others to be that change 😉

The classic setup here sees us disconnecting from inner moment-to-moment joy for the sake of improving our future, “humanity”, or “the world at large” — the latter two stem from Aquarius’s association with group-consciousness and group-mind.

The shadow side of Aquarius thus expresses itself in herd mentality, where peer pressure can drive people to conform and react — often unconsciously.

Fear of rejection or ostracism might have us shy away from standing out; so ask yourself (and be really honest with yourself here): How have I avoided following my heart so I can “keep in with the crowd” or a particular group of people? What might I do differently if I gave 5% less energy to fears of ridicule or rejection?

As mentioned earlier, we are invited to balance and integrate the two polarities involved — we are, in fact, invited to merge them to bring about a brighter future for humankind, so ask yourself: What would it look like if I gave the go-ahead for that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that, right now?

This also means it’s important to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others; as best as you can therefore, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions? Am I coming from love and the heart? Or fear and survival?

Now let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Super Full Moon chart: Let’s first start with the rulers of Aquarius: Saturn & Uranus.

The Moon in Aquarius makes a conjunction with Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius). Saturn has been in Aquarius since Dec. 17th, 2020, and will remain there until March 7th, 2023, continuing to illuminate issues around our identity within society, group consciousness, technology and authority, social reform, and inequality.

The Moon aligning with Saturn invites us to focus on a long-term vision for our communities or networks that involves a mature and realistic approach — so as best as you can, take your time, come from a place of integrity, and do your best to show your expertise.

Ask yourself: What visions do I have for my local or online communities? Could I stay open to bringing in some new structures to help fulfill my vision and create something sustainable?

With Saturn’s involvement in this Full Moon chart, we feel a tremendous sense of commitment and obligation right now towards our various networks or affiliations; this may also create a lot of pressure and lead us to be very hard on ourselves or others.

We may start “should-ing” on ourselves or others. When we “should” on ourselves, we tend to feel more pressure and are therefore inclined to rebel — and then feel guilty about our rebellion — the result is a heavy heart, anxiety, or stress.

Ask yourself: What if I turned any “shoulds” into “coulds”? What if I chose powerfully, one way or another? And having chosen, could I take 100% responsibility for my choice?

Could I take 5% more responsibility for how I show up in my various communities? Am I able to be myself? Do I dare to be authentic? Do I speak my truth responsibly? Do I allow others to be themselves? To speak their truth?

Uranus in Taurus (the modern ruler of Aquarius), is exalted (stationing) at the time of the Super Full Moon, and is also still conjunct the North Node & Mars in Taurus.

Uranus in Taurus will start to feel exalted from Aug. 10th on, as it is preparing to come to a halt for its annual 5-month Retrograde phase (starting on Aug. 24th); this exalted energy will last until Sept. 4th.

We will talk in more detail about Uranus’ Exaltation and the conjunction to Mars and the North Node in Taurus, as they relate to our own birth charts, in my next Forecasting Forum on Aug. 13th.

Now back to this Super Full Moon chart:

The conjunction to the North Node and Mars in Taurus is strong until August 16th. We already talked about this in more detail in our last New Moon video. Feel free to read the article here or watch the video here.

Briefly about this alignment, we may experience sudden insights into our finances, physical reality, the planet, and what’s most important to us right now and for our future. We are ready to experiment — but we are also invited to be realistic about our current earthly realities.

It takes courage to try something new and different, so ask yourself: What is the next step on my journey toward becoming an ever-stronger, healthy individual, one who honors and loves themselves, and is not afraid to have different values from others?

What actions could I take right now, to honor my talents, my body, and all physical matter? How can I show my love and appreciation for what I already have now? How might honoring and valuing myself make space for more abundance in my life? What needs to change for me to feel truly worthy of any amount of abundance? Could I approach any of those things with “progress” in mind?

The Uranus/North Node/Mars alignment in Taurus is also the Focus point of a T-Square involving the Full Moon polarity & Saturn.

As we have already discussed several times since last year, Saturn and Uranus make a long-term Square to each other that will last, off and on, until December of 2022.

Given we have already been dealing with this aspect since January of 2021, ask yourself: What did I learn in the past 19 months about myself, others, or society as a whole, in connection with spaciousness? How about when it comes to Freedom? Differences? Allowing myself to feel uncomfortable?

In general, Squares to Uranus require a major shift in our priorities and strategies; sudden changes and even radical breaks with the past are possible right now, potentially shaking us out of stagnant patterns. Ask yourself: Where might a new chapter in my life be waiting to open? What ideas and insights hint at that opening?

We are invited to stay detached in our social dealing with others — honoring our individuality without making anyone else wrong for being different, “themselves”, or having different preferences.

Ask yourself: How can I do what’s best for others or the collective, if I don’t do what’s best for myself? Where do I need to “think outside the box”? Could I simply “hold space” for things to reorganize themselves physically? How about mentally? Could I allow for this to happen slowly? Without needing to rush into anything? Without pushing others or myself?

This Super Full Moon chart contains an added bonus involving the Full Moon polarity (Leo/Aquarius) and the Moon Nodes (Taurus/Scorpio); we are invited to stretch and grow just a bit further.

The Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio create a Grand Cross with the Full Moon polarity. This creates a fixed Grand Cross, and therefore some tension — it usually indicates a need for releasing old karmic patterns on a collective and individual level. The Moon Nodes encode a tremendous amount of information about the current evolutionary process of humanity. Feel free to read my article about the current Moon Nodes here or get my webinar on the subject here.

If you find yourself becoming reactive within the next two weeks, ask yourself: Are these triggers in my relationships “old” or “familiar”? If I were completely honest with myself right now, might I find I was blowing things out of proportion a little bit? What if I took things 5% less personally as a brief experiment?

Could I acknowledge how I feel that a particular situation/feeling is part of my identity — how it feels like it is about me or who I am? And just for right now, and just as best as I can, could I let go of that sense that “it’s personal”?

We must also find a balance between inner processes and outer focus. We may want to practice going beyond our fears (in general) and attachments to survival strategies (i.e. our conditioning). Ask yourself: What fears are asking to be faced? What am I ready to let go of?

We may also want to make an effort to connect to what’s important to us — to what we truly value — ourselves included.

Ask yourself: Where do I stand when it comes to a healthy sense of Self? What stands between me and “healthy self-esteem”? What’s my relationship to the physical world? To my body? My personal resources?

Mercury in Virgo trines an exalted Uranus & the North Node in Taurus. We are looking to reinvent our relationship with our health and body.

Ask yourself: What is healthy for me personally at this time? What works for me? What doesn’t? Could I honor what my body needs, even if it is different from what other people need at this time? If my body had a say in this, what might it be saying to me?

What might a review of my current daily habits show me? How could I work 5% smarter rather than 1% harder? Is there any clutter in my life that is asking to be removed at this time?

Chiron in Aries trines the Sun in Leo. With this combo, we have the chance to shine, largely because we project self-respect and modesty. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths. Where might this be true for you?

Mars in Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn. This is definitely strong energy for steady, practical, down-to-earth work on a project or long-term goal. As best as you can, leverage this powerful mixture of energies to go after the things you have been wanting for a while now — and as Pluto is involved, use it all to fulfill your Soul’s purpose.

Ask yourself: What is asking to be fulfilled at this time? What moves me? What turns me on? Not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level?

Is there anything I could do to feel more passionate about my standing in society? What actions could I take (small or large) that might support an empowering experience in my career or long-term goals?

Neptune in Pisces sextiles Mars in Taurus & Pluto in Capricorn:

Neptune’s Sextile to Pluto invites us to surrender our fears about our position in the world and our achievements; we have the opportunity to be guided by inspiration or intuition. This is also an opportunity to open up and connect to what we are passionate about.

Ask yourself: Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me in effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowered experience in society? What if directing kindness toward the world would bring peace into my life and my heart?

As best as you can, connect to your higher Self, and if possible, bring a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans — especially those you feel really passionate about.

Neptune’s Sextile to Mars invites us to soften our need for financial stability or earthly enjoyments with a gentler, more intuitive approach. We get an opportunity to be extra-present and engage in a practical approach to our finances and all physical matters; however, trusting in life is paramount. As best as you can, allow yourself to slow down and connect with nature, your body, and your breath.

Ask yourself: If rushing things did not get me what I want faster, would I be open to taking some breaks, and allowing the energy flow to show me the way? What if I decided to get in tune with the creative process by staying present in the here and now? Might trusting the creative process get me what I want faster?

To sum up, this Super Full Moon highlights the archetypes of individuality and diversity, creativity and collaboration, passion and progress. It urges us to remember that we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution — that we were born for this challenging transition on Planet Earth.

A lot of us are waking up to the reality that everything is interconnected, and that life is meant to be lived from a holistic place that includes the heart, the head — in fact, all of who we are: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

In times like these, I believe it is deeply valuable that we surround ourselves with people who bring a holistic approach to life. Having a holistic approach doesn’t mean we compartmentalize the uncomfortable, but rather that we embrace all shadows and imperfections — you might call it “Being Human” 😉

Since we are invited to reinvent our relationship to nature and our physical experience, ask yourself: In what ways could I purify my body, my mind, and my spirit? What would clear some space in my daily life for implementing healthy routines?

When uncertain, ask to be shown the next step — and at all times, do your best to listen to your body, and be extra kind to yourself and others.

And always remember: If you look into your own heart and see the strength and love lying there, you can begin to reclaim yourself, remember your divinity and interdependence, choose love over fear, and lift yourself and humanity out of the old paradigm of separation and scarcity.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this Super Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer)

Super Full Moon in Sagittarius — the article

On June 14th at 7:52am EDTthe Full Moon in almost 23.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius, early on Sunday evening, June 12. This month’s Full Moon is also known as the Strawberry Moon — the last Full Moon in Spring.

In addition, this Full Moon is also a SuperMoon. These occur when the Moon is either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth and are therefore more powerful. This often means an increase in emotional reactivity and greater awareness around the issues connected to the particular Full Moon energy in question.

For the next two weeks, we seek balance, as we become more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius) ==> If you are already a Member of my online community, you can learn more about this month’s Super Full Moon, just click here to watch my video!

Saturn in Aquarius is still exalted, although the planet is now in its Retrograde motion and forming a sextile with the Moon in Sagittarius, while Neptune in Pisces squares the Full Moon polarity. The ruler of Gemini (Mercury), and the ruler of Sagittarius (Jupiter) make a Sextile to each other. Mercury is in an exalted degree and Mars aligns with Chiron in Aries. All of this plays a crucial role in this Full Moon chart.

More about the specifics in a moment, but one thing to remember in general: Full Moons are always times of awareness and culmination. We see things that we have not seen before and get a chance to make some changes if we don’t like what we see.

So think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 30th: What seeds were planted at that time? What has “sprouted” since?

Let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a wider perspective, one that has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained thereby. It’s all about seeking a higher truth, and a higher meaning for life’s challenges — a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations.

So that’s Sagittarius’s highest vibration — what of its shadow side? When we suppress this energy inside of us, we become…

When we suppress this energy inside of us, we become unquestioningly attached to our belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves about life — and therefore self-righteous — perhaps we even persecute those who differ in their point of view. We are also more easily susceptible to excesses of all kinds.

Now let’s look at Gemini: at its highest vibration, this sign helps us stay connected to our immediate environment and “day-to-day mind” — processing and sharing as much information as we can, as quickly as possible — we stay curious, constantly looking for ways to learn what we need to connect all the dots and communicate intelligently.

When we suppress the higher vibration of the Gemini energy, we likewise move into its shadow side: superficiality, talking without listening, chattering randomly, sharing information without substance or meaning, collecting lots of facts but having little knowledge, staying busy so the mind doesn’t get bored, and allowing the mind to dominate our physical, emotional & spiritual connection to life.

Ask yourself: What is the difference between information and interpretation? What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions and what I think I know? Who do I think I am? Why are things the way they are? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view?

Let’s talk about the specific aspects of this Super Full Moon chart:

Saturn in Aquarius is still exalted, although now in its Retrograde motion, and sextiles the Moon in Sagittarius.

Saturn’s exalted state asks us to take a much closer look at the responsibility for our part in the collective, turn a critical eye to everything that we envision for our future, and adopt an objective, scientific approach.

Given that Saturn is also in its yearly Retrograde motion since June 4th, we are asked to turn inwards and take a look at our current long-term commitments and limitations (in connection with our communities & affiliations), and start restructuring anything that has slipped out of alignment with who we have become over the last 18 months.

We are individually and collectively invited to clarify our thoughts. What are we manifesting currently with the thinking that is taking place individually? How about collectively?

Saturn & Pluto are both currently Retrograde, indicating that we might want to take a closer look at our inner processes around our visions for ourselves and our various networks and affiliations, around feeling empowered out there in the world, and around trust in our own authority.

Ask yourself: What if I paid 5% more attention to my inner state? What’s my inner process around embracing or at least acknowledging my own and other people’s limitations? What if I took 5% more responsibility for who I’m being, and how that makes me feel? Who have I put in charge of what I feel? Or experience? To whom have I delegated the decision of what’s best for me? Who gets to decide how empowered I feel?

As best as you can, allow yourself to take your time processing things emotionally, physically, and mentally; there is no rush unless you decide there is.

Saturn’s Sextile to the Moon in Sagittarius gives us an opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, focus on the bigger picture, or simply commit to something that gets us excited about the future.

Ask yourself: What gets me excited about the future? What commitments am I ready to make? Where are my opportunities for collaboration? How might a mature approach serve me with those connections? What am I willing to learn at this time?

This Super Full Moon chart also has a T-square: Neptune in Pisces becomes a Focus Point, as it squares the Moon in Sagittarius and the Sun in Gemini. This asks us to stretch and grow by releasing anything that no longer supports our spiritual/mental growth. We may have a tendency to underestimate situations or be in denial about their impact on us; our expectations of ourselves and others might likewise be unrealistic.

Sagittarius signifies what we have come to believe, based on our childhood, education, religion, and cultural conditioning, while Neptune and Pisces encompass what we know in our heart and soul.

As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others; seek to understand before seeking to be understood. Do your best to quiet your mind and open your heart. Be sensitive as well as honest — and beware of misinterpretations!

Ask yourself: What might be the best way to distinguish between what I think, what I believe, and what I simply know? Might my intuitive, divine energy help me be realistic about how much I can expect of myself right now?

How can I honor my introverted and extroverted natures equally? What if I had no judgment about moving faster or slower? What if I tuned into my feeling body for a moment and took a break — or at least slowed down a little? What might feelings of overwhelm have to teach me about a gentler and kinder approach towards myself? What if I practiced being compassionate and kind with myself and others for the next 60 minutes?

We will talk in more detail about Neptune in Pisces on June 18th, in my next Forecasting Forum — and in particular, how the upcoming Station & Retrograde phases will impact our own birth charts. Register here to join us live or get the mp4-video recording after June 18th. There will also be an Early Bird Special available until June 15th at midnight EDT.

Back to the T-Square: Given that the empty leg of this T-square lands in Virgo, we are invited to bring our compassionate, loving hearts to our daily work & health routines — and to make choices from a place of discernment, and neutral clarity, rather than from a place of judgment.

Ask yourself: What might I experience if I released all judgment towards life and its paradoxes? How might my open heart help both others and myself achieve more clarity? Could I combine the kindness of heart-energy with the clarity of mind-energy?

What if simply making a list of anything that feels overwhelming could help me be more present and connected to the flow of life? Could I allow for the timing of things as they unfold, trusting that everything on that list will be created eventually?

What might be possible if I embraced my intuition and sensitivities on a daily basis? How might a compassionate approach serve me at this time? Could I be kind, loving, and discerning at the same time?

Since Virgo is also associated with health routines, you might also ask yourself: What health routines would support my emotional wellbeing?

When investigating daily routines, it can be tempting to approach things from “good or bad”, “right or wrong”; instead, try asking yourself: What works? What doesn’t? What do I see when I look at it all through kind eyes? Through a lens of practical neutrality?

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is in 0 degrees of Gemini at the time of the Super Full Moon. This is an exalted degree, and Mercury is also in its own sign, so it has some potent energy to it.

Mercury is also still in its post-Shadow phase (Retrograde phase ended on June 3rd) and was last in 0 degrees of Gemini on the day of the Solar Eclipse (April 30th), and then during the Retrograde phase as well around May 21st.

Think back to those dates and ask yourself: Did I have any conversations that I need to revisit? Was there any information (especially in connection with learning or understanding something) that I wanted to go after?

With Mercury in such a heightened degree, we are learning that listening is just as important as speaking, maybe even more so. We are also invited to remain open-minded, and aware that there is always more to learn — no matter how much we already “know” or think we know.

Ask yourself: What if I deliberately communicated with more clarity? With my mind 5% more open?

Might listening 5% more attentively help to create better exchanges? What information am I receiving and processing that could support my understanding of things 5% more?

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, is currently in Aries, and sextiles Mercury in Gemini. This combo creates a possibility for expansion via stepping into uncharted territory. Humor can be a great way to tap into this energetic combo. We more readily exercise good judgment and are more “philosophical” and open to learning. And the more we learn, the harder it is to judge, objectify, or abuse others.

As with any opportunity, we have to “take” it — it requires we take action. Ask yourself: What could I do that would instill confidence in my exploration of the mind? Is there a new mental process that is asking to be explored? Am I ready to expand my mind? My thinking? How might a courageous attitude support me at this time?

Last but not least, I would like to talk about the Mars/Chiron alignment in Aries. This combo might indicate a feeling of restlessness and impatience, become demanding, or hard to please; we tend to feel like we are not enough, that progress is too slow, and we are tired of waiting.

Ask yourself: Am I moving toward or away from exhaustion? What might shift if my masculine “doing-energy” stood in service to my intuitive, receptive feminine? What might a holistic approach make possible?

We may also more easily feel triggered by others. Ask yourself: What might be possible if I practiced being kind to myself around those triggers?

How could I create 5% more understanding of my relationship to “masculinity” and the expression of anger? What might a natural and confident expression of anger look like to me? How could anger serve me? What does a healthy expression of anger look like? Could I allow myself and others to express anger as long as it is not destructive? What might that look like? How might that feel? What would “courage” do?

To sum it all up: This Super Full Moon reminds us of our interconnectedness, and how our attention, our focus, and beliefs shape our experience of reality.

Ask yourself: What if I focused 5% more on my connectedness with other humans?

This Super Full Moon also invites us to further widen our access to empathy, intuition, and inspiration. Compassionate communication and creative thinking work best over the next two weeks.

If something resonates with you, it means it is aligned with your energy, so move toward that which resonates and away from that which does not. There’s no need for “judgment” here, simply listen to your physical body or your feeling body, heed your inner guidance, and ask yourself: Where have I been getting drained? Where do I get recharged? Where lies the path of least resistance towards myself?

The next two weeks require some courage, communication, and compassion. It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, knowing that our sense of balance must come from within, and (as best as we can), staying rooted in the inner knowing that all is well, no matter what we perceive or tell ourselves about those perceptions.

Ask yourself: What kind of experiences outside of my everyday routines might widen my perspective and understanding of life? Who supports my journey towards greater self-realization? Could I allow any such connections to grow stronger and more meaningful?

Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius — the article

On Wednesday, May 26th at 7:14am EDT, a powerful Full Moon in 5.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. This is a Total Lunar Eclipse of a SuperMoon (i.e., the Moon is closer to the Earth than normal) and as such, this Full Moon’s energy is unusually intense.

Even apart from that, there is a lot to cover with this Eclipse — it is connected to a mutable T-square, with Jupiter as the Focal Point, and it has two Stationing planets: Saturn in Aquarius & Mercury in Gemini!

If you are already a Member of my online community, you can learn more about this month’s Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse by clicking here to watch my video

Lunar Eclipses direct our attention to whatever needs to be integrated and balanced, both on the collective and individual levels, over a longer period of time (usually 6 months). Get ready for some big shifts in your life, especially around your relationship with your own belief structures, and around your ability to learn, remain adaptable, and use your “day-to-day mind” intelligently.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind: Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

This is the second Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius since the Moon Nodes moved into Gemini/Sagittarius back on May 5th, 2020 — and the Moon Nodes play a crucial role during Eclipses! Feel free to also check out my webinar on those Moon Nodes (if you haven’t seen it yet). We talk about the connection to our own birth charts… and it’s currently available at a discount!

The last Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius in the same degree as this one was on May 26th, 2002Think back to that time: What shifts in perspective happened then? What is possible now?

Let’s take a closer look at this Lunar Eclipse:

The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius (which is itself aligned with the South Node) is making an opposition to the Sun in curious, quick-witted, versatile Gemini (which is aligned in turn with the North Node).

Full Moons balance two opposing archetypes, and reconcile their Shadow sides — in this instance, Gemini deals with information, intelligence, and communication, while Sagittarius is concerned with meaning, truth, and wisdom.

The Shadow side of Gemini brings…

The Shadow side of Gemini brings tons of data but no depth of understanding. It can be scattered-brained, talk without listening, randomly chatter, and allow mind to dominate body, heart, and soul.

Ask yourself: What is the difference between information and interpretation? What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions? Questioned what I think I know? Who I think I am? Why things are the way they are? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view? Could I bring 5% more depth and understanding to the information I engage with and share?

The Shadow side of Sagittarius gets stuck in destructive ruts of dogmatism, entitlement, and excesses of all kinds. We get attached to our belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves about life — and therefore also become self-righteous, perhaps even persecute those who differ in their point of view. We also tend to have difficulty dealing with emotions and commitment.

Ask yourself: How could I be 5% more aware of any dogmatic thinking? Of any hypocritical behaviors? What could I do to keep the focus on myself when investigating those things?

Now, how do we integrate Sagittarius with Gemini?

The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity has to do with our ability to connect thoughts and language with higher meaning or wider perspectives — in other words, logical, curious, and expansive thinking.

Ask yourself: What do I already know? What reactions come from my cultural conditioning? What needs a new exploration on my part? Where do I feel particularly impatient or easily become annoyed? Where do I insist on “being right”? How might a dose of curiosity and open-mindedness support a larger exploration of life?

Given we have the South Node in Sagittarius until Jan. 2022, we are invited to become more aware of these Shadow issues, and move into a higher/lighter vibration of this sign. The best way to do this is via the higher/lighter vibration of Gemini. The current placement of the North Node in Gemini invites us to make an effort to work with the Gemini archetype as much as possible.

Given that, let’s take a look at Geminiat its highest vibration, this sign helps us stay connected to our immediate environment and “day-to-day mind” — processing and sharing as much information as we can, as quickly as possible — it extends an invitation to stay curious, indeed to constantly look for ways to learn what we need, so we can connect all the dots and communicate intelligently.

Ask yourself: What would help me stay open-minded over the next 8 months? What if I were 5% more willing to incorporate new information? What difference might listening 5% more deeply make?  What if I made 5% more effort to communicate clearly?

It’s important to realize that the Sagittarian urge to “go beyond” is essential for our growth; when it comes to balancing these energies, that same urge can play a crucial role in how we interact with others and share information — in other words, the Gemini energy.

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a wider perspective, one that has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge, to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained thereby. It’s all about seeking a higher truth, and a higher meaning for life’s challenges — in other words, a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations.

Ask yourself: How can I best apply my wisdom at this time? How might I show my tolerance towards others? Towards life itself? Might a tablespoon of faith support me at this time?

Now, let’s talk about some of the aspects of this Lunar Eclipse chart:

Not only are the Moon Nodes conjunct with the Full Moon — which is natural, given that this is an Eclipse — but we also have a Mercury-Venus alignment in Gemini that makes a wide conjunction with the North Node. This asks us to put effort into connecting and communicating with others. The same is true when it comes to thinking about what is most valuable to our thinking processes.

Here are some good questions to ask ourselves: What do we enjoy hearing about? Talking about? Learning about? Could we honor our thoughts just 5% more, just for a little while?

We are also invited to take a closer look at any values and relationships we want to connect with or learn more about. Since we are in the process of becoming aware of what we value most, we can more easily see now if things are in alignment with how we think, and what we communicate.

Ask yourself: If I am completely honest with myself, what do I hear when I actually listen to my inner dialog about relationships? What do I tell myself about my interactions with others? What’s my relationship with my Self and my own resources (money, talent, ability, etc.)? What do I need to learn or question to achieve greater alignment with myself and others?

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, has just started its first pass through Pisces — and is now the focal point of a T-square involving the Moon in Sagittarius and the Sun in Gemini.

This is an invitation to to ask ourselves these questions: How do we use our optimism and generous spirit? Are we exhausting ourselves? Could our beliefs be placed in service to our Higher Self? Could our desire for personal growth and opportunities be guided 5% more from an intuitive place?

What might be possible if we kept an open mind and curiously investigated our options? What if we asked ourselves on a daily basis, before making an assumption or jumping to conclusions: “Is this in the best and highest interest of all concerned, myself included?”

Given that the empty leg of this T-square lands in Virgo, we are invited to bring faith and optimism to our daily work routines — and to make choices from a place of discernment (i.e. neutral clarity), rather than from a place of judgment.

Ask yourself: What might I experience if I released all judgment towards social conditioning? What might become possible if I embraced my intuition and generosity on a daily basis? How might a holistic approach or attitude serve me at this time? Could I be kind, loving, and discerning at the same time? What might I discover if I made a list of pros and cons before making any choices?

We will talk in more detail about Jupiter’s first pass through Pisces on May 28th, in my next Forecasting Forum — and in particular, how all of this impacts our own birth charts. Register here to join us live or get the mp4-video recording after May 28th. There will also be an Early Bird Special available until May 25th at midnight EDT.

The Moon in Sagittarius forms a Trine to Chiron in Aries. This makes it easier to explore new healing modalities for body, mind, and heart, all aimed at renewing our enthusiasm for life. We are capable of being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best.

Ask yourself: What nurtures my body? My mind? My Soul? Are there any healing modalities I’ve been wanting to explore? Am I ready to go for it?

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is in 24 degrees of Gemini at the time of the Super Full Moon. It is stationing in preparation for its second Retrograde phase of the year, and thus is exalted. It also quincunxes Pluto in Capricorn, squares Neptune in Pisces, and aligns with Venus in Gemini. Let’s unpack all that:

Mercury’s Quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn invites us to clarify our true motivations and deal with any underlying fears that are blocking us — and as best as we can, to drop any self-judgment.

Ask yourself: Am I after quick, superficial exchanges? Or intense and authentic connection to what I am building long-term? When it comes to the latter: what am I most afraid of? How might I best build empowerment out there in the world?

Mercury’s Square to Neptune in Pisces invites us to have faith, go with the flow, and let our intuition guide us when it comes to our communications and mental exchanges — and if we are able do so, we will grow.

Mercury squares Neptune until June 10th — this unusually long square is due to Mercury’s Station & Retrograde Phase. Feel free to read more about this challenging aspect in the weekly blog for May 17-23rd (Saturday’s entry).

As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others — and watch out for any tendency to make hasty decisions or to be naïve about something you hear or read.

We also might look for some vision, ideal, or dream to motivate us or stir our imagination. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

Ask yourself: Before moving forward with a communication or decision, could I tune in and get really clear about my energy body, and what is needed in this current moment? What if I granted 5% more trust to my inner guidance? What might I hear if I listened 5% more closely to the subtle messages of my divine nature?

We also tend to feel scattered at this time. Should you observe that in yourself, try asking: What might happen if I slowed down and listened to my intuition instead of letting my mind run?

Saturn in Aquarius is still exalted (due to its Station phase) at the time of the Lunar Eclipse — even though already Retrograde — in this exalted state, it trines the North Node in Gemini, sextiles Chiron in Aries, and remains in a Square with Uranus in Taurus. Let’s unpack all of that:

Saturn’s Retrograde motion points to the fact that inner changes must be made before outer forms can shift. It may be advisable for us to keep the focus more on ourselves and check in frequently with our inner compass.

Ask yourself: If I check in with myself, what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to my social or political affiliations or networks? If I am completely honest with myself, is there anything that calls for a reassessment on my part?

Saturn’s Trine to the North Node in Gemini invites us to focus on solid and realistic ideas and concepts that serve us long-term.

Ask yourself: How might curiosity and an open mind lead to more sustainable solutions for my communities? What might I share with “my people” if I wanted to manifest something that would last and be sustainable for all involved? What might “responsible sharing” look like? What could I teach or learn that could have a long-term impact for me and my communities?

Saturn’s Sextile to Chiron in Aries presents an opportunity to connect with others responsibly and engage in a healing process that can bring progress in our various communities — maybe even worldwide.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? What if my personal limitations were my main drivers for taking creative or unusual approaches? If that were true, would I be willing to commit myself 5% more to learning more about my limitations (without judgment)? What might be possible if I allowed myself to let go of regrets, and focused instead on what works and what doesn’t for me today?

For even more info on the Saturn Station and Square to Uranus, watch my New Moon in Taurus video or read the article!

Lastly, let me just mention some aspects involving Mars in Cancer:

Mars opposes Pluto in Capricorn and trines Neptune in Pisces. The opposition with Pluto requires a deep dive into our unconscious around the masculine energy and our need for safety.

Ask yourself: What is my motivation around achieving something out there in the world? How about at home? What might a balance between home/family and career/long-term goals look like for me? How might a deep focus on self-care or emotional authenticity serve me at this time? What needs to transform so I can feel more empowered?

We may have feelings connected to past experiences with the masculine energy; Mars’ Trine to Neptune can help us let go of any such feelings that we are ready to release.

Ask yourself: What is ready to be released at this time? Where do I sense emotional blockages? How might a good dose of love and forgiveness support me with this? Could I perhaps tap into my heart energies 5% more to get a sense that “everything will turn out just as it needs to”?

To sum it all up for this Lunar Eclipse: This powerful Super Full Moon highlights the power of perspective — what we see depends on where we stand, literally and figuratively. Gemini & Sagittarius are both extroverted, social signs, yet Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces, as well as Mars in Cancer in this Lunar Eclipse chart promote our connection to the feminine energies within us (this is true for both our physical body and our feeling-body).

If something resonates with you, it means it is aligned with your energy, so move toward that which resonates, and away from that which does not. There’s no need for “judgement” here, simply listen to your physical body and your feeling body, heed your inner guidance, and ask yourself: Where have I been getting drained? Where do I get recharged?

Where lies the path of least resistance towards myself? What assumptions are holding me back? What role does my thinking play in all of this?

The next 6 months require some adjustments: on the one hand, there is a desire to go within and get quiet — and on the other, a need to expand our horizons and learn more about life and our day-to-day interactions. We are also invited to focus both on nurturing the mind and on  staying in touch with our feeling-body.

As best as you can, stay as open-minded as possible — nothing will be gained by clinging to the past or insisting on your truth being “the” truth. Infuse your daily routines with a heart-centered attitude that promotes health: If you are able, go for walks in nature, take yoga classes, practice walking meditations, or dance and sing or chant your way through the living room…

It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, knowing all the while that our sense of balance must come from within, staying rooted in the inner knowing that all is well.

Ask yourself: What kind of experiences outside of my everyday routine might widen my perspective and understanding of life? Who supports my journey towards greater self-realization? What or who “feeds” me? Could I allow those connections to grow stronger and more meaningful?

Remember: Eclipses bring a strong focus to endings and beginnings — they push us forward in our evolution and connect us more fully to our Soul’s Journey. As best as you can, trust that whatever is leaving or falling apart is making way for something better — the more open we are to change, the easier it will be to go to the next level.

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 5.5º of Sagittarius:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-11 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
