On July 21st, at 6:17am EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun at 29 degrees of Capricorn. An exalted degree! Not only is it in the last degree of the sign, it will also be the second of two Full Moons in this particular polarity! The first one was on June 21st at 1º of Capricorn-Cancer.
The entrance of the Moon into Capricorn on July 19th, starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.
All Full Moons bring greater awareness to our current situation — what’s working and what we need to change. This Full Moon in Capricorn–Cancer asks us to pay special attention to how well we are balancing the demands of our outer and inner lives.
Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart:
The Moon in the last degree of Capricorn aligns with Pluto in an early degree of Aquarius
The Moon sextiles Neptune in Pisces (exact), and so, of course, the Sun in Cancer, which is exactly opposite the Moon, makes a Trine to Neptune
The Moon also trines Uranus in Taurus
The Moon as well as Pluto trine Mars in a very early degree of Gemini
Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, currently retrograde in Pisces, doesn’t make a lot of strong aspects in this Full Moon chart, but it is still within 10 degrees of Neptune and is starting from a Square with Jupiter in Gemini (which we will talk about in more detail in the next New Moon video)
Some other aspects worth mentioning are: Mercury’s Square to Uranus (exact), and its Trine to an exalted Chiron in Aries
Lastly, Venus in Leo sextiles Jupiter(almost exact) and trines the North Node in Aries
Again, this is the second of two Full Moons in Capricorn within 30 days.
This doesn’t happen too often; the last time we had two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign was in March/April 2019, in Libra-Aries — the last time it happened in the sign of Capricorn-Cancer was 19 years ago, in June/July 2005
Ask yourself: What was important in my life during the summer of 2005? Where am I ready for a major upgrade now?
Having two consecutive Moons in the same sign is particularly interesting because of the degree in which they become exact — it is usually an exalted degree.
With the current Full Moon becoming exact in 29 degrees of Capricorn, we are getting a chance to complete something, most likely something that started with the first Full Moon in 1º of Capricorn on June 21st.
This will most likely be connected to long-term goals, social status, or worldly achievements, but it might also be connected to our energetic understanding of life and our spiritual sovereignty — since Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently moving through Pisces.
This is an exalted degree because it is the last degree of the sign and, thus, the last chance for any transiting celestial body to express itself fully before changing signs.
With any Full Moon, we see things we have not been aware of before, and we get a chance to make changes if we don’t like what we see.
Ask yourself: What’s happened to me since June 21st regarding long-term goals? What needs another look? What needs to change? What is asking for completion?

Neptune in Pisces is exalted for several reasons:
1) it is in its own sign, 2) it is in a heightened degree (29º), the last degree of Pisces, and 3) it just started its Station phase on June 18th, preparing for its yearly Retrograde (just like Saturn). Something is “in our face” concerning the feminine energies (such as allowing, resting, sensing, intuiting, and feeling into the flow of things, etc.) — and all of this plays an essential role for the next two weeks, so tune in!
We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the connection we have to our feelings and emotional needs, plus our ability to feel emotionally connected to others (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

New Moons are good times to reflect on our lives and set new intentions. This is an excellent time to go within and plant a seed for anything we would like to accomplish over the next 28 days and beyond. Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject, here.
There are two quick things I would like to mention before we get started:
We will talk about Uranus, the planet of breakthroughs, innovation & change, as well as Pluto (the planet of deep transformation & power) moving back into Aquarius (the sign most associated with communities, technology & future visions) — for the second time since last March, and this time it will remain in Aquarius until September 1st.
The third pass will be from Nov. 19th, 2024, until Jan. 2044. This is a 246-year cycle, which means the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was from 1778 – 1798. This was when the United States achieved its independence from Great Britain — through its desire to create a place “of the people for the people”, a place where freedom and equality were honored and aspired to.
If you did make any New Year’s resolutions, this New Moon cycle will be a great time to implement and make good on those resolutions or intentions.
If you didn’t set any New Year’s resolutions, I can’t blame you, since Mercury was Retrograde at midnight on Dec. 31st/Jan. 1st., and was also squaring Neptune in Pisces — so it may have felt too overwhelming to set any concrete intentions for 2024, or it wasn’t even on your radar…
But do not worry; January 11th is your next chance to set some great goals or intentions, and this time, you will feel much more grounded, realistic, and excited about doing so.
Since this New Moon occurs in Capricorn, it directs us to investigate our relationship with authority, not just “authority” in the external sense, but also our “own authority”.
The highest vibrationof Capricorn is self-mastery: the development of responsibility, resourcefulness, reliability, setting realistic goals, and healthy boundaries. So, the next 28 days are perfect for working on these areas.

March 7th, at 8:35am EST, Saturn changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking and objective Aquarius to creative, intuitive, and sensitive Pisces. It will journey there until May 25, 2025, then make a second pass through Pisces from Sept. 1st, 2025, until Feb. 14th, 2026.

On March 21st, 2020, Saturn changed signs from practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn to freedom-loving, forward-thinking and objective Aquarius, where it journeyed until July 1st, 2020. This was a preview of what’s to come in December of 2020, when Saturn makes its second move into Aquarius on Dec. 17th, this time until March 2023.
Saturn feels pretty comfortable in Aquarius, as it is the traditional ruler of this air-sign and therefore “co-rules” it together with Uranus (the modern ruler); it is inviting us to look for practical applications of group consciousness, our inventions, ideas, future visions, etc. This transit could also teach us that there is freedom and liberation in abiding by particular rules — but it’s best to avoid rigid thinking.

All this is especially true if you are a Capricorn or Aquarius Sun- or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel a greater need for a “cause” — let’s hope it’s a good one that benefits most of humanity 🙂 As an Aquarius, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious, and mature, in the next 2 years.

On Jan. 12th at 11:59am EST, a Saturn/Pluto alignment in almost 23 degrees of Capricorn became exact. (we’ve been feeling the effects of this aspect since Dec. 5th, 2019; it will remain strong until Feb. 19th, 2020).
The last time we saw a Saturn-Pluto alignment was in November 1982, and then again in May-June, 1983; back then it was in a late degree of Libra, the time before then was in August 1947 in 13º of Leo — as you can see this is quite a long cycle — anywhere from 32 – 38 years, in fact.
It’s time to think seriously about what no longer works for us, both individually, and collectively; this is a time when dedication and commitment to goals runs high and we are more reliably and consistently productive. We derive satisfaction from a job well done, especially if we can readily find meaning in what we are doing — and are more able to concentrate, as we can see ourselves and our purpose very clearly, and also see that our persistence will pay off.
The invitation to adjust our expectations becomes obvious; any trials and tests that emerge now will nudge us onto the right path and challenge us to become stronger and more confident in our own abilities. Do your best to detox and de-stress.
Facing realities that we have conveniently avoided is definitely part of this transit. With any long-term cycle, you can set some intentions around what it is you would like to create, so ask yourself…

Dec.19th, 2017 at 11:49pm EST, Saturn changes signs from adventurous, truth-seeking and enthusiastic Sagittarius to practical, accomplishment-oriented and responsible Capricorn, where it will journey until Dec., 2020 (except for the period between March and July of 2020, when it will temporarily move into Aquarius, giving us preview of what’s to come beyond Capricorn).

I have been holding some questions around Saturn Return for a while now and have reached a point where I would like to get some clarity on the subject. On July 21st, at 6:17am EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun at 29 degrees of Capricorn. An exalted degree! Not only is it in the last degree of the sign, it will also be the second of two Full Moons in this particular polarity! The first one was on June 21st at 1º of Capricorn-Cancer.
On January 11th at 6:57am EST, 
March 7th, at 8:35am EST, Saturn changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking and objective Aquarius to creative, intuitive, and sensitive Pisces. It will journey there until May 25, 2025, then make a second pass through Pisces from Sept. 1st, 2025, until Feb. 14th, 2026.
