Powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Cancer — article

On July 2nd, at 3:16pm EDTa powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in 10.5 degrees of Cancer becomes exact. This is the beginning of both a new Moon cycle and an Eclipse cycle — in fact, this is the first of two Eclipses within the next two weeks!

You can think of Eclipses as extra-powerful New and Full Moons. The Sun, Moon, and Earth line up in such a way that cosmic energies are intensified, fostering amplified shifts in consciousness and accelerating our evolution.

I also recommend you watch my Solar Eclipse video on the subject.

The Sun and Moon are both in Cancer — and, as always, they connect to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse; in this case, the North Node — and North Node Eclipses help us explore anew an energy that promotes Soul-evolution.

As I mentioned earlier, Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons, they end one 19-year cycle and begin another. On July 1st, 2000, we had a Solar Eclipse in almost 10.5 degrees of Cancer that was also connected to the North Node; given this similarity, we are likely to experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonant”, rather than identical — so think back to the summer of 2000 and ask yourself the following:

Were there any major endings back then? Beginnings? What was important? If the call now came to take those priorities to the next level… Where would that next level find me?

The shift connected with this particular Eclipse began last summer already (July 2018), and will unfold over the next 11-16 months. This shift in question is all about the Cancer energy; which is connected to family, home (this could be a physical or emotional “home”) — a shift with past issues around feeling “at home”, “safe”  or “nurtured”– both internally and in the world.

Internally, this is about being more rooted in our physical-emotional bodies, and allowing ourselves to explore and celebrate the mother-archetype both within and without — this would be things archetypically “mother-related”, like giving and receiving nurturing, caring for ourselves in terms of our emotional and physical state, and so on. Over the next 6 months…

Again, I also recommend you watch my Solar Eclipse video on the subject.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-16 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Libra or Aries? If so, you are more affected by this powerful New Moon/SuperMoon/Solar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer).

Alright, let’s talk about intention-setting: setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 6-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just the next 28 days.

Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact — as we are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions… We also definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.

The best and most potent times to set your Intentions is therefore either between 3:16pm on July 4th and 2:24am on July 5thor between 12:25am and 3:16pm on July 6th (in US Eastern Time — i.e. the New York time zone).

Set powerful intentions — after all, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Cancer energy!

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), and converting timezones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining myFacebook Fanpage and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

This Solar Eclipse reminds us that to be fully alive requires that we create a balance in our lives; so, while writing your intentions, ask yourself: What if I created a more authentic connection to my feeling-body? And if I did, might it just possibly help me better take care of my needs? And if I did that… might I in turn become a more successful and accomplished citizen of the world?

Beyond Learned Knowledge — Forecast for June 24th – 30th

This week’s headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Aries becomes exact on Tuesday morning, Mercury changes signs from Cancer to Leo on Wednesday evening — and starts its Station phase Saturday. Chiron’s Station intensifies on Sunday.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday evening (for 3.5 hours), Thursday very early morning (just over 5.5 hours), and Saturday afternoon (2.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have a quick announcement:

Now for this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 24th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 10:38pm EDT. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But… that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday in morning, a challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:58am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Saturday (June 21st) on, it will be strong until this Wednesday. We can be confused, unrealistic, or overly idealistic around love and money — so it’s best to wait until the transit is over, before making big moves in these areas — if you make long-term financial investments, buy or sell big-ticket items, or start brand-new relationships, it’s likely you will not see things as they truly are.

We are actually being asked to have faith; to let our intuition guide us in money and love — if we are able to do this, we will grow through it. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days — it might also help to know that relationships and endeavors of a spiritual or artistic nature can move forward at this time.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-22 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces)

Monday at 7:10pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 3.5 hours, until 10:38pm EDT. This is an intuitive time; use it to share about your past, and to offer loving and compassionate support to yourself and others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening until the late evening ahead of time.

Monday at 10:38pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday late morning. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards…

Now for this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 17th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 12:13pm EDT. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, this means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things. This Moon placement started the build up towards the Full Moon (exact today, early morning, June 17th). If you are currently a Member of my online community, feel free to watch my Full Moon video.

Monday at 4:31am EDTthe Full Moon in almost 26 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius, early on Saturday morning, June 15th. If you are currently a Member, and want to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, please click here to watch my video.

For the next two weeks, we seek balance, as we become more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).

It’s important to realize that the Sagittarian urge to “go beyond” is essential for our growth; when it comes to balancing these energies, that same urge can play a crucial role in how we interact with others and share information — in other words, that Gemini energy.

The Moon Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn, Neptune in Pisces, and Jupiter in Sagittarius all play a crucial role in this Full Moon chart. Jupiter is still retrograde at the time of the Full Moon — and this signifies an inner process of some sort, one directly connected to the Full Moon energy.

The Moon Nodes are conjunct Mercury & Mars on the Cancer end, and Pluto & Saturn on the Capricorn end; this asks us to find a healthy balance between inner and outer satisfaction and fulfillment.

As you may recall from my last New Moon video/article, Neptune is still exalted, preparing for its retrograde phase on June 21st.

More about the specifics in a moment, but one thing to remember in general: Full Moons are always times of awareness and culmination. We see things that we have not seen before, and we get a chance to make some changes, if we don’t like what we see. So think back to the New Moon phase that started on June 3rd: What seeds were planted at that time? What has culminated since?

So let’s first talk about the Sagittarius-Gemini polarity: At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us… if you are currently a Member, and want to read the whole article and get all the Coaching questions, click here

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday at 4:31am EDT, at the same time as the Full Moon becomes exact, we also enter a Moon Void of Course, that lasts for a little over 7.5 hours until 12:13pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for physical, mental, or spiritual adventure and exploration against your desire to connect and share yourself with others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning until the early afternoon ahead of time.

Monday at 12:13pm EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it is currently transiting through its own sign, making this a great time to take look at your long-term aspirations and anything that you would like to master over the next three years. It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our strategies for self-mastery.

For starters: Do you truly see “what’s so” in your life (as opposed to what you merely wish it to be, or what you would like it to be, or where you see yourself going, etc)? What is actually so right now? Once you have a handle on where “A” is, it’s easier to “go from A to B” — whether “B” is self-mastery or standing on the mountaintop.

Monday all day and tomorrow (Tuesday) until 11am EDT,…

June 10th – 16th

Release Past Issues — Forecast for June 10th – 16th

This week’s headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Monday very early morning, Neptune’s Station phase intensifies on Tuesday evening, and the 2nd Jupiter/Neptune Square of the year in Sagittarius/Pisces becomes exact on Sunday late morning.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for 12.5 hours), Wednesday late morning (almost 13 hours), and Friday afternoon (a little over 13 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have a quick announcement:
Our next Monthly Forecasting Forum is coming closer; it will be live on Tuesday, June 18th at 12pm EDT/5pm London Time. You can join us live or watch the mp4-video presentation at a time that’s convenient for you.

If you are not yet, a Star or SuperStar Member, please register here (registration also includes access to the next Full Moon video).

We will look directly at our own birth charts to see how the Chiron Station in 4-5º of Aries: late June – late July, and the second Mercury Retrograde phase of the year, will impact each of us. We will address questions like these for the upcoming transits:

What is coming into your awareness in regards to your inner wounded child? What triggers you? How do you deal with those triggers? How is your communication affected? Are you able to express your creative juices?

Now for this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 10th:

Monday, the Moon remains in Virgo until 8:29pm EDT; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday at 1:59am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 19 degrees of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Virgo last week Saturday (June 8th).The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking and busy Gemini

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on June 3rd. “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 5:04am EDT. We start to feel this aspect build from Sunday early morning (June 9th) on, it will remain strong until late tonight (Monday). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

Our focus is drawn to the truth of the matter, but we could be pulled away by doubts and impatience, or by “accepting” responsibilities that aren’t ours (while ignoring the ones that are). We work hard but aren’t always recognized or compensated as we’d like and therefore sometimes run out of steam before our work is complete. Our life works best when we learn to take care of our most important responsibilities first.

As best you can, slow down, but don’t come to a halt: Just because you’re not sure about something, doesn’t mean it’s not worth taking a longer look — in other words, don’t impatiently discard things when you’re unsure what to do about them. Ask yourself: How might I share my thoughts in a self-responsible way? What might I see if I slowed down? What might I notice if I took a longer-term view? How might curiosity and an open mind support my long-term goals?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Monday at 8:01am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for 12.5 hours, until 8:29pm EDTUse this intuitive time to empower each other in regards to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning until the evening ahead of time.

Monday late morning, a Sun/Jupiter opposition becomes exact at 11:28am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Friday evening (June 7th) on; it will be strong until this Thursday (June 13th). This aspect can bring an opportunity to open up our consciousness through other people. As best as you can, expand your perspectives about life and enjoy the optimism.

The urge to grow and expand is strong, but we might overreach; hasty actions might backfire. As best as you can, don’t push the decision-making process… just trust to the divine timing of things. Projects or ambitions may reach a culmination point or see a surprising changes. Ask yourself: What insights am I receiving? What if just I trusted this process?

Think back to Nov. 26th, 2018, when the Sun last aligned (conjunct) with Jupiter in Sagittarius, and ask yourself: What was started then? What seeds did I plant, related to going beyond conditioned attitudes, or expanding my perspective about life? Have those seeds sprouted since then? What’s my attitude now? What still needs to change?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 16-23 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may feel more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday at 8:29pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy — making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc. We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to…

June 3rd – 9th

Ability to Adapt — Forecast for June 3rd – 9th

This week’s headline items: the New Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Monday morning, Mercury changes signs from Gemini to Cancer on Tuesday afternoon, Friday evening is the time to start taking actions on New Moon intentions, Venus changes signs from Taurus to Gemini Saturday late evening.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early afternoon (for 35 minutes), Thursday late morning (a little over 5 hours), and Saturday late afternoon (22 minutes).

Now for this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 3rd:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day; it will journey there until Tuesday early afternoon. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday morning, at 6:02am EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 12.5 degrees of Gemini. This the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to also watch my video on the subject

One major thing to note in this New Moon chart is that we have 5 planets in the signs over which they rule — this means that these planets feel very much at home and more empowered. The following 5 planets are in their own signs: Mercury (which is also the ruler of this New Moon), Venus in Taurus, Jupiter in Sagittarius, Saturn in Capricorn, and Neptune in Pisces (which also happens to be stationing and is therefore exalted, making its vibrational spin louder).

Something is “in our face” in regards to Neptune’s energies for the whole next month — something is demanding our attention and awareness. I already talked in great detail about this in our last monthly Forecasting Forum; feel free to watch, or get the video-presentation of this webinar, if you have not seen it yet — we apply Neptune’s movements directly to our own birth charts 😉

I will also talk more about all of this in a little bit, but first let’s, look at the Gemini influence of this New Moon.

With the New Moon in Gemini, for the next four weeks, we are asked to connect with others, and share our little hearts out, because Gemini is the archetype of curiosity, communication in all its forms, and mental connections — it represents the development of language and intelligence, as well as our ability to adapt and relate to our immediate environment.

This is a “busy” energy focused on collecting information. We are invited to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind, to see what needs to go, and to see what new thought structures we might want to create in its place.

Gemini is asking us to stay in motion, to think about all that we’ll need to know in order to move forward, and to connect and share ourselves with others. Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: What motivates me to learn? When I talk to myself about sharing or processing information, what do I typically say? What do I say to myself about being connected to others? About my intellectual capacities?

The spiritual goal of Gemini is the development of… to read the whole New Moon article and get access to all the Coaching questions, click here

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces?  If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So… this month, we have two periods that are great times to set intentions: First, any time between 6:02am, Monday morning (June 3rd) and 11:42am, Tuesday late morning (June 4th). If you aren’t able to do it during that time period, wait 35 minutes and set them between 12:17pm, Tuesday (June 4th) and 6:02am, Wednesday morning (June 5th) (all times are in Eastern Daylight Time — the timezone New York City occupies). For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter, as I post reminders on June 3rd throughout the day, and June 4th afternoon/evening, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Monday afternoon, we are required to make some adjustments — and we may need to do a little stretching and growing, when it comes to our inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

Monday early evening, we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some inner adjustments. We feel nudged toward being responsible and building something that will last long-term.

Monday evening, we are invited to balance our desire for sharing and gathering information with our desire to go beyond learned knowledge and tap into a greater wisdom that helps us grow and expand mentally, physically or spiritually.

Monday late evening, feels a little uneasy. Again, we need to develop an inner awareness …

May 27th – June 2nd

Listening, An Art Form — Forecast for May 27th – June 2nd

This week’s headline items: Neptune starts its station phase on Saturday, preparing for its retrograde phase, and on that same day, Mars reaches 10.5 degrees of Cancer — which happens to be the degree of the upcoming Solar Eclipse (on July 2nd). There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for a little over 14 hours), Thursday late morning (just over 13.5 hours), and Saturday evening (almost 13 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have a quick announcement:
If you missed last week’s Forecasting Forum, feel free to get the 115-min. webinar here. Star and SuperStar Members, please check your emails for the mp4-video recording of the webinar: lots of juicy questions, and exploration of our charts in relationship to the Neptune Station phase that is starting this week.

Now for this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 27th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day, where it will journey until Tuesday afternoon.

Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go until Tuesday afternoon.

Monday very early morning, we feel a need to go within — and also want to connect, learn and share. This tension clearly invites us to stretch a little and resolve it through creative solutions — the key here is to listen to our intuition, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy.

Monday morning: we’ll get an opportunity to be very present — and also to connect with others through our values. This is a great time for getting practical advice around financial stuff. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to your interactions with others.

Monday afternoon, we feel more sensitive and need to slow down a little. This is a great time for spiritual or creative endeavors. Energy work, or anything that requires our intuitive side, will work best for the next several hours.

Monday evening, we get an opportunity to be wholly present — and also to focus on practicalities and long-term plans. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to your business dealings.

Monday late evening, we feel a need to go within and slow down — and at the same time, we also want to move fast and have new experiences. This tension clearly invites us to stretch a little, and to seek resolution via creative solutions — the key here is to…

Collecting & Sharing Information — Forecast for May 20 – 26th

This week’s headline items: both the Sun and Mercury change signs from Taurus to Gemini, on Tuesday. The last Quarter Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Sunday early afternoon, and there will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early afternoon (for almost 15 hours), Wednesday late evening (for almost 14 hours), and Saturday morning (for almost 17.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have two quick announcements:

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 20th:

Monday, the Moon remains optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the “here and now”; we pursue truth and a new vision — the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we’d rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just “winging it”. We could also overdo or overstate.

Monday morning, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself.

Monday at 1:05pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that last for almost 15 hours, until 3:56am EDT (Tuesday early morning). Use this intuitive time to explore your beliefs (and greater truths) around your ability to see life from a larger vantage point.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan  Monday early afternoon until Tuesday early morning ahead of time.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 13th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Monday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:27pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from, Sunday (May 12th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday (May 14th) . This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

More profoundly though, we may feel challenged, as we realize that we are being overly enthusiastic with others. That high optimism may also drive us to take on more than we can physically handle. If we do start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at how we use our energy: Are we in tune with our physical body?

It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal belief systems impact our experience of life… Can we stay open to new philosophies or perspectives on life and what it offers to us? And even perhaps stay open toward our desire for more expansion or personal/spiritual growth?

Neither avoiding conflict, nor digging in our heels will serve us now; as best as you can, slow down and stay tuned in to your physical body — ground yourself like a tree rooting deep into the earth, with branches that bend with the wind 😉

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules of Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)

Monday evening, seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Monday late evening, we are more capable than normal of looking at the details, and focusing on what’s sitting right in front of us that demands to be taken care of, so we can get to the next phase of accomplishment. We are invited to look at all the practical implications; we need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can stand the test of time — rushing things will most likely backfire right now.

Monday late evening, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 11:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday (May 10th) on; it will remain strong until this Thursday night/Friday very early morning (May 16th/17th). This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what is and what is not”, we can make more powerful choices.

We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.

Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now, that no longer serve my evolution? Am I willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in…

Full Moon in Scorpio — article

On May 18th at 5:11pm EDT, the Full Moon in 27.5 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact. The Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio opposes the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my video on the subject.

The last month has been filled with intense cosmic attention, directed towards what’s working (and what isn’t) in our lives at this time; this was related to the Station phases that have been activating trauma residues, clearing cellular memories, and giving us an opportunity to restructure our consciousness.

This Full Moon shows us how far we have come, as well as what we must still release or transform, if we are to manifest what was begun at the time of the New Moon that occurred on May 4th.

For the next two weeks, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities — and are more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment. The balance in question is between our physical attachments, aversions, and connections — symbolized by Taurus— and our emotional attachments, aversions, and connections (Scorpio).

The time of any Full Moon is always more extroverted and emotional; this particular one invites us to let go of fears or disempowering behaviors, and thereby break through to the next level of our evolution.

So, here’s this Full Moon’s central question: Are we living in alignment with our values, with what makes us happy and satisfied? As a society, as people, as individuals… Do we feel empowered and emotionally fulfilled?

All right, let’s look at the signs involved in this polarity, beginning with Taurus

Talking of cancellation, please be aware that if your **credit card numbers** or **expiration dates** change, you may lose your Membership, because the system won’t be able to charge your card — this can happen if your card has to be replaced due to fraudulent activity, for example. We’ve found that the site doesn’t handle it well if you have multiple cards on file (it gets confused as to which card to charge); we’ve been trying to get that fixed, but for now, I request that you only have one card on file inside your Members portal.    2:53

A Process of Maturing — Forecast for May 6th – 12th

This week’s headline items: Mercury changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Monday afternoon, Pluto’s Station phase ends on Wednesday, Saturn’s Station phase ends on Friday.

OnThursday afternoon, it’s time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions; and the first Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Saturday. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for a little over 9 hours), Thursday late evening (for a little over 11 hours), and Sunday morning (for 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Last chance to watch the Pluto and Saturn Station & Retrograde webinar! Only available until May 11th, and this week only, you can get a 20% discount. Apply discount code: Webinar4Less at check out.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 6th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Wednesday early morning. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂 As best as you can, be patient with yourself and others.

Monday until 6:45pm EDT: If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, set your Intentions for this Moon cycle… If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon 😉

For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here

Monday morning, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections?

Monday at 2:25pm EDTMercury changes signs from enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until May 21st. For the next 2 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we “say it like it is”. We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.

A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so as long as Mercury is in Taurus, we will be drawn towards the “tasteful” in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.

When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next 2 weeks. We learn best when we…

New Moon in Taurus — article

On May 4th, at 6:45pm EDT, the New Moon becomes exact in 14 degrees of Taurus. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle.

As best as you can, get really quiet, and see if you are getting any new messages or ideas. If you are, harvest them, and fold them into any intentions you set for the new Moon cycle — I will talk about this process later in the forecast, and I’ll even give you the very best and most potent times for performing it 🙂  Click here to watch my video on the subject

This New Moon in steady, peaceful Taurus places more focus on our interactions with the physical world — you could say that we seek a healthier relationship with “matter”, one in which we are neither too attached, nor too disconnected from things on the physical plane — for example, our bodies, resources (such as money), and the planet we co-inhabit. We are powerfully reminded to take the time to honor the only planet we can currently live on — The Earth — to honor its resources and beauty.

In much the same spirit, we are invited also to honor ourselves, our bodies, and our talents. This is a good time for reevaluating our relationship to money and possessions, and for discovering what truly makes us happy and fulfilled; check in with yourself: What came to mind when you read this?

Let’s talk about some of the aspects in this New Moon chart…

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 6:45pm on Saturday, May 4th until 11:10am Sunday late morning — then again, at 11:40pm Sunday late evening, until 6:45pm Monday evening (May 6th) — all of the above times are given in US East Coast-time.

Note, that there is a long Moon void of course on Sunday late morning — it runs from 11:10am EDT until 11:40pm EDT. Don’t set your intentions during those 12.5 hours — instead, allow intuition to surface possible intentions while you wait. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US-Eastern Daylight Savings Time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Monday — to let you know that it’s the best time to set your intentions 😉

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 12-16 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

April 29th – May 5th

Take It All In — Forecast April 29th – May 5th

This week’s headline items: Saturn comes to a halt and begins its yearly Retrograde phase on Monday evening. The New Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Saturday evening — and there will be three long Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late afternoon (for almost 12.5 hours), Friday early morning (11.5 hours), and Sunday late morning (12.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, April 29th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

Monday early afternoon, we get an opportunity to be very present; also to connect with others and share practical advice, or simply enjoy “the good things in life”. As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being, and allow yourself to slow down and connect with nature.

On Monday at 8:54pm EDT, Saturn comes to a halt in 20.5 degrees of Capricorn and begins its yearly retrograde phase until Sept. 18th. We will get very clear on what we are truly committed to — or not — and on how we are living our lives in regards to our physical reality. We will also get clear on what is realistic when it comes to achieving our goals.

This is partly because our physical realities may feel like they have come to a complete halt. Take a deep breath whenever you can, as often as you can (especially Sunday through Tuesday night of this week).

Saturn represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments — and our ability to “do” life on life’s terms. When this planet comes to a halt and turns retrograde, we get to see where we need to create or renew our commitments. As best as you can, take it all in and see where you would like to make adjustments. You will get a chance to do just that for the next 4.5 months.

Desire to Connect — Forecast April 22nd – 28th

This week’s headline items: Pluto comes to a halt on Wednesday afternoon, starting its yearly 5-month Retrograde phase, Saturn’s Station phase intensifies on Thursday, and the last Quarter Moon in Aquarius becomes exact Friday early evening.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for a little over 11 hours), Thursday afternoon (for a little over 13.5 hours), and Sunday morning (for almost 12.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, April 22nd:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day, where it will journey until Tuesday evening. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders.

Monday afternoon, we are asked to balance our need to venture beyond our day-to-day mind with our desire for mentally stimulating projects.

Monday evening, a Sun/Uranus alignment in 2.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 7:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from April 20th on; it will be strong until this Thursday, April 25th. This alignment brings confidence and a desire to connect with others through a common cause. We may have sudden insights into our friendships — and how they connect us to a bigger vision. We know that if we want to move to the next level, we need to strategize and collaborate with others.

We are also asked to connect to the unusual. Our creative core is awakened: We feel compelled to express ourselves in unique (or at least unconventional) ways. Our consciousness expands, we are receptive to new ways of thinking, doing, and living; this increased openness to all that is new and different may bring unexpected opportunities.

As I mentioned in my last Full Moon video that I posted two weeks ago, Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality, and progress. Uranus in Taurus aligned with the Sun, asks us to break away from whatever keeps us from honoring ourselves. It’s time to develop some  and awareness: What’s mine? What isn’t? What if it were ok to have a different outlook from others? What about different values?

One thing to remember: Keeping the heart and mind open could make a big difference to the experience of this alignment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, or 29 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Also, Monday evening, we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within. You may feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, April 15th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 6:14am EDT; at that time, the Moon moves into into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Monday evening, a challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 7:15pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Saturday (April 13th) on; it will be strong until this Wednesday (April 17th). This aspect asks that we question our most fundamental beliefs and conditioning around money and relationships.

We have the opportunity here to grow beyond our understanding of what our values get us. Issues connected to love, relationships, and whatever is most valuable to us, can seem overwhelming at this time. This is because we have a tendency to overindulge or over-promise.

We mean well, because we are feeling quite optimistic at this time — but we may underestimate how much time we actually have, or how good a fit something actually is. Overspending, overindulging and over-promising could be connected to this aspect as well (as could making assumptions in our relationships); as best as you can, bring a non-judgmental awareness to any such tendencies.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-27 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo,? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Also, on Monday, Pluto’s station phase intensifies until May 2nd. It will come to a halt on April 24th in almost 23 degrees of Capricorn (more on that next week). As I mentioned last week, when an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; this becomes even more pronounced when its Station phase intensifies.

We become even more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around May 8th).

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 3 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul’s purpose (your deep, authentic, emotional Self) — especially in relation to long-term goals and your standing in society.

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears, very often we discover…

Another Full Moon in Libra – article

On April 19th at 7:12am EDTanother Full Moon becomes exact, and this is the second of two Full Moons in Libra within a 30-day period.

This doesn’t happen too often; the last time we had two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign was June of 2016, in Sagittarius-Gemini — the last time it happened in the sign of Libra-Aries was 57 years ago, in April 1962. If you are already a Member of our online community, feel free to also watch my video on the subject.

Two consecutive Moons in the same sign is particularly interesting because of the degree in which they becomes exact — it is usually an exalted degree — and the current Full Moon becomes exact in 29 degrees of Libra. This is an exalted degree because it is the last degree of the sign and it’s therefore the last chance for any transiting celestial body to express itself before changing signs.

This would indicate a strong urge to complete something, most likely something that started with the first Full Moon in 0º of Libra on March 20th — and therefore connected to relationships, a desire for balance and equality (including harmony in our environment and with ourselves).

With any Full Moon, we see things that we have not been aware of before, and we get a chance to make some changes if we don’t like what we see. Ask yourself: What’s been happening to me since March 20th, when it comes to others? What needs adjusting? What needs to simply change?

That said, we discussed the Aries-Libra polarity at length in the first Libra Full Moon video, posted in March (to hear about that polarity, click here) — so let’s focus now on the aspects connected to this month’s Full Moon chart, starting with two Uranus aspects:

First: Uranus, in an early degree of Taurus, and aligns with the Sun, which is in the last degree of Aries, and therefore also opposes the Moon. Uranus symbolizes the desire for…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 27-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Cancer or 0-1 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
