On Nov. 23rd at 5:57pm EST, the New Moon in 1.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. This New Moon also signifies the end of Eclipse Season (which started on Oct. 15th). We have received our consciousness upgrades and can now move forward with any intentions we set in late October (at the time of the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio).
Before we dive in I just wanted to mention briefly 2 events that may be of interest to you:
1) I will be joining the lovely Primavera Salva from @transform_with_love for a NEW MOON Ritual & Collaboration on Monday, Nov. 21st at 7:30pm EST!
This special event will be an opportunity to let go of the heaviness of the Scorpio-energies (within and around us) and anything that came up during Eclipse Season, and at the same time prepare us for the New Moon in Sagittarius.
The event is by donation (pay what you can) — all proceeds will go to “God’s Love We Deliver”, and every $20 donation will provide a holiday meal for someone in need ==> To save yourself a spot, and join us, click here
2) I am also excited to share that I got invited to join 11 other Astrologers for a weekend conference at the beginning of December. It’s the 6th installment of the “Breaking Down the Borders” online Astrology Conference, scheduled for December 2nd-4th. And I will be giving a talk on Chiron in Aries, called: Healing the Wounded Masculine on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 2pm EST.
Back to the New Moon: New Moons are a great time to catch our breath; to hit the pause button on our life, and to set some intentions for the new Lunar cycle.
Lots to consider with this New Moon chart:
This New Moon conjuncts/aligns with Venus & Mercury ==> 4 planets in Sagittarius
Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) is highly exalted, as it comes to a halt only 5 minutes after the New Moon becomes exact (changing directions)
Jupiter, currently in a late degree of Pisces, trines the New Moon, in an early degree of Sagittarius
Jupiter also sextiles Pluto in Capricorn
The highly exalted Jupiter aligns with Neptune in Pisces
Neptune is also exalted (stationing), preparing to come to a halt on Dec. 3rd
Neptune & Jupiter in Pisces still square Mars in Gemini
Venus & Mercury in Sagittarius trine Chiron in Aries
More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s look at the Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury alignment in Sagittarius:
Sagittarius, urges us to examine our beliefs and their impact on our lives. It reminds us that all truths are relative, and that what matters most is a whole-hearted approach.
Ask yourself: Do my beliefs and attitudes enrich my life? Make me kinder? More accessible to my heart-energies? What beliefs, perspectives or attitudes are asking to be released at this time? Where am I invited to take a leap of faith?
With Mercury involved we are invited to remember that we are the editors of our own experience. We interpret our reality through a multitude of filters, determined by our childhood conditioning, education, religion, culture, gender, and nationality. Ask yourself…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-4 degrees ofSagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces, or 29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo,or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. The best time to set intentions is soon after the New Moon becomes exact — as long as it’s not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be any time between 5:57pm Wednesday evening (Nov. 23rd) until 2:22pm Friday (Nov. 25th); and then again from 4:18pm until 5:57pm, also on Friday (Nov. 25th). (EST- New York time)
Note, however, that there is a Moon void of course on Nov. 25th — it runs from 2:22pm EST until 4:18pm EST. Don’t set your intentions during those 116 minutes — instead, allow intuition to surface possible intentions while you wait. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here
If you live outside the EST timezone (i.e. US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-pageorfollow me on Twitter; I will be posting reminders to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉
This week’s headline items: Neptune still stations all week, and on Monday, Jupiter starts its Station phase again, slowing down as it gets ready to end its 4-month Retrograde phase. Venus changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, and Mercury follows suit very early on Thursday morning. The last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Wednesday morning; Jupiter’s station intensifies on Friday; and the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Sunday morning.
There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday early morning (a little over 2 hours), Wednesday evening (for a little over 1 hour), and Saturday very early morning (for a little over 2 hours).
Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a couple of announcements:

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, November 14th:
Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking)! The Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 7:48am EST.
Monday early morning, at 5:41am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 2 hours, until 7:48am EST. Use this intuitive time to trust your intuitive sensing and allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you. Release anything that feels outdated or stuck in the past. It is also a great time to explore spiritual, intuitive, or creative endeavors, and to lend loving and nurturing support to others.
As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.
Monday morning, at 7:48am EST, the Moon enters fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So, hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, and tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things; be honest and authentic as best you can. Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun that you let out a tiny squeak just thinking of it?
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Wednesday morning).
Monday late evening, an opportune Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:27pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Saturday evening (Nov. 12th) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect provides an opportunity to restructure or rebuild areas of our lives that need it.
It’s also an opportunity to do more research toward building something meaningful, all while learning about our authentic motivations; as best as you can, dig deeper — and keep your heart open — a fearful approach is not recommended.
Ask yourself: How might releasing any fearful or “worst case scenario” thinking help deepen my connection to whatever I feel deeply passionate about, out there in the world? Is it at least possible that letting go of “old”, lower-vibration thought forms colored by fear or self-protection would support me in effortlessly reaching my long-term goals?
Remember: opportunities aren’t “automatic”… we have to go after them, and realize them.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC), or any personal planets in 23-29 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity — the same applies for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio).
Also, Monday late evening, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:43pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Nov. 11th); it will remain strong until this Thursday evening (Nov. 17th). This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us — especially anything that relates to traumas from the past and fears that keep us stuck, or disconnected from others, or that simply keep us from a fully passionate life.
Our intuition, imagination, and inspiration all seem to be “zeroed in”. We go beyond “tolerance”, to lovingly embrace differences in others, and give where it’s needed with open hearts and hands. All of this also feeds into any creative and spiritual endeavors that start around this time.
Ask yourself: what am I ready to release that has kept me from living a passionate life? Who am I ready to forgive? Do I make it onto that list? What if forgiveness wasn’t even a requirement? What if I could simply choose to move on, because I understand the power of acceptance and compassion, towards myself and others?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Also, on Monday, Jupiter starts to slow down again (stations) at 28.5-29 degrees of Pisces, preparing to come to a halt on Nov. 23rd (after having been retrograde for the past 4 months). This station will last until Nov. 30th.
When a planet stations, we start to be more fully aware of its energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies as they exist within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.
Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight through knowledge and exploration. Some of this planet’s keywords are morality, gratitude, hope, honor, and the law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, wisdom, understanding, and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with our sense of humor, generosity, tolerance, goodwill, and mercy.
The lower expressions of Jupiter include irresponsibility — too much of a good thing, leading to blind optimism, excess, and overindulgence.
We have been connecting internally to our wisdom and ability to grow for the past four months. What did you discover about your ability to learn and grow since June 28th? Do you have a better understanding of your own inner wisdom and optimism — and how to access it? How could those discoveries change how you connect to your intuitive knowing?
Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius; or 0-1 degree of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

This week’s headline items: a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus becomes exact Tuesday morning; on Saturday, Neptune in Pisces starts to slow down (station), preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase; Mars ends its Station phase on Sunday (but will remain retrograde until January 12th, 2023).
There will only be two Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday morning (a little over 1.5 hours) and Friday early evening (for almost 2 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, November 7th:
Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. It will journey there until Wednesday morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉
Also, this Moon placement starts the build-up to the Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse) in Taurus (exact on Tuesday morning, more on that tomorrow…)
Monday very early morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:34am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves up to this point — a process of maturing that requires us to adjust and stay flexible.
On the one hand, we want to connect on a deeper, more intimate level with others; on the other hand, we feel a sharp need to improve our various communities — we are asking how we could create a better future for us all, going from A to B without missing anything essential — in short, we want to determine what’s real and would provide the best foundation for a better future. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.
We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.
The key here is to approach both in a spirit that combines authenticity and maturity rather than attachment to a certain outcome. Pushing will most likely not get us what we want — better to go one slow and steady step at a time, so we can come back later (if needs be) with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are excellent days to slow things down and go within. Remember: Eclipses bring a strong focus to endings and beginnings — they push us forward in our evolution and connect us more fully to our Soul’s Journey. As best as you can, trust that whatever is leaving or falling apart is making way for something better.

OnNovember 8th, at 6:02am EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 16 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio).
This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur.
During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears.
This powerful Full Moon is a Total Lunar Eclipse viewable across Asia, Australia, the Americas, and the Pacific. The duration of totality lasts 85 minutes (=1hr 25min), so we will feel the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for approximately 43 days.
This Total Lunar Eclipse will also fall on the upcoming Election Day in the USA; this is the first Election Day total Lunar Eclipse in U.S. history, and it won’t happen again until November 8th, 2394!
This particular Lunar Eclipse is the second of two Eclipseswithin two weeks; it offers an opportunity to value ourselves, each other, and the Earth.
There is an emphasis with this Eclipse on creating a healthy sense of self-esteem and having a healthy relationship with the physical world.
And what’s the best way to accomplish that? By facing our fears, healing old trauma, and owning our power, we are releasing what’s been holding us back — individually and collectively.
As you might know from my last Solar Eclipse video, Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (both collectively and individually). All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved; in this case: The Moon is in steady, peaceful Taurus, while the Sun is in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio.
The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades.
The Lunar Eclipse highlights relationships of all kinds — but with this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a heightened emphasis on self-value and intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.
We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what we need to explore, embrace, and integrate about the Taurus energy.
It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to November 9th, 2003: What did I need to integrate back then? What became clearer at that time around exploring my talents? What about my self-worth? Was I able to see my value? What about my relationship with money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?
We will also address this upcoming Lunar Eclipse in our next Forecasting Forum on November 12th! Please join us if you’d like to know how this powerful Lunation will impact you personally. We will also address Jupiter’s Station Direct phase in Pisces. What have you learned about yourself and life since July 28th? What new perspectives are you ready to bring to the world?
There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until November 8th! So I invite you to take advantage of that — unless you are already a Star Member — you are automatically registered and will receive an invite email to join us live (it goes out the day before the live event). I release the mp4-video recording within 24 hours of the live event.
That’s it for announcements and logistics; back to the Lunar Eclipse:
Many planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart — an important T-Square with Saturn as the Focus Point in Aquarius and the empty leg in Leo. The Moon conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, while the ruler of Taurus (Venus) still conjuncts the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio. The ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) is still in Capricorn, sextiling Neptune & Jupiter, who have come back together in Pisces.
Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) is now Retrograde in Gemini, still exalted until November 13th, creating a lasting Square with Neptune and now Jupiter in Pisces. The good news: we also have a Trine (a harmonious aspect) between Venus (ruler of Taurus) and Neptune. More about the specifics in regards to all of this in a moment.
This Full Moon is the third Lunar Eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity, connected to the current Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio –– a process which will continue to unfold until…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 16 degrees of Taurus:
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-21 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
This week’s headline items: we are still moving through Eclipse Season, and Mars is still exalted (stationing) all week. The first Quarter Moon in Aquarius becomes exact very early Tuesday.
Please note that Daylight Savings Time ended in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning (Oct. 30th) but will continue in the US until early this Sunday (Nov. 6th)!
There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late morning (for 30 minutes), Wednesday morning (a little over 7.5 hours), Friday evening (for 1 hour), and Sunday late afternoon/early evening (almost 7 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have an exciting announcement…
It’s Fall, and I decided to have a huge sale! YAY!
This is your chance to get a 40% discount on all of my Readings!
Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn until 11:43am EDT. We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is transiting through Aquarius making this a great time to take a look at our visions for humanity, and at things we would like to accomplish long-term within our communities (locally or online).
It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your personal vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago?
Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now, and with where you see yourself 5 years from now? What do you truly want to commit yourself to?
Monday at 11:14am EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last 30 minutes, until 11:43am EDT. Use this intuitive time to soften your need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach; go within, get a wider perspective about your inner divinity, and bring an experience of peace and inner knowingness to your long-term commitments.
Ask yourself: Where might I be guided, if I trusted my intuitive body to guide me? Could I tune in and listen 5% more to those subtle sensations or messages? Could a different perspective on timing support me in achieving my long-term goals with more ease? What if I brought 5% more discernment to questions of “proportion”?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning ahead of time.
Monday late morning, at 11:43am EDT, the Moon enters freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and this planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to look at our physical connection to our own body, finances, and whatever is most important to us on this planet.
It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us or keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.
Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?
Where in my life have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (which will be exact very early morning tomorrow, Tuesday).
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, everyone!

Please note that Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning (Oct. 30th) but continues in the US until Nov. 6th!

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, October 24th:
Monday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉
One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Monday early morning calls for some inner adjustments, as we feel uneasy or awkward and must make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, we want to innovate when it comes to what we value (ourselves included) — and maybe also have some financial breakthroughs; on the other hand, we feel the need to attend to our one-on-one relationships, supporting them — and perhaps collaborating. (Moon in Libra quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 5:18am EDT)
Monday morning, we sense harmonious connections even though we are focused on making progress. Where our visions for the future are concerned, we are invited to bring a new level of authenticity and make realistic choices around connecting with others. (Moon in Libra trines Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 7:08am EDT)
Monday afternoon we are invited to make some more internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet? (Moon in Libra quincunxes Neptune in Pisces, exact at 3:07pm EDT)
Monday evening, we feel social and seek to go after things on a mental level, so as best as you can, have stimulating conversations — and allow for fairness in discussions or arguments. (Moon in Libra trines Mars in Gemini, exact at 7:12pm EDT)
Also on Monday evening, at 8:36pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last almost 7 hours, until 3:18am EDT (Tuesday early morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, collaborate with others and play nice; on the other hand, be authentic and truthful about what you want to build long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening until Tuesday very early morning ahead of time.

Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that take place approximately every 6 months — this is the second Solar Eclipse in 2022 (in this particular Eclipse cycle that will be in effect until July 2023). The first Solar Eclipse of 2022 took place in Taurus on April 30th.
Think back to early May and see what seeds got planted in your life in connection with the last Solar Eclipse. Did you set Solar Eclipse Intentions in early May? Did something end or begin at that time? What have you discovered about your sense of self-worth and value in the world?
Eclipses usually come in pairs (Solar and Lunar), and “Eclipse seasons” start approximately 10 days before the first Eclipse of the pair, and continue through the second.
While this Eclipse is partial and only visible from Europe, Western Siberia, Central, Western, & South Asia, and the NE of Africa, its transformative effects are global.
We also addressed Eclipse Season and the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio in more detail in a special talk called “The Next Phase of Your Evolution — How to Navigate Eclipse Season”. If you missed this Special Event ==> click here to get this fabulous 2-hour webinar
A couple of things to note for this Solar Eclipse chart: we have 4 Quincunxes; these invite us to make some inner adjustments to address internal discomfort. One of those four Quincunxes is inviting us to pay closer attention to our health — the Quincunx between Mars in Gemini and Pluto in Capricorn.
Pluto and Mars are also involved in two Squares, and Saturn is still in a tight Square with Uranus. Squares are 90º aspects that mark a turn we must take if we are to make progress; they ask us to stretch and grow beyond who we used to be.
Mars and Saturn are both exalted in this Solar Eclipse chart, due to their Station phases — Mars is preparing to go Retrograde (on Oct. 30th) and Saturn just ended its 4.5-month Retrograde phase (that began on June 4th).
And last but not least, Venus is closely aligned with the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio, bringing our desire for deeper connections to the fore.
These are the major themes of this Solar Eclipse chart and we will address them in more detail in a moment. First, let’s talk a bit about Eclipses:
During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon momentarily interrupts the normal flow of Solar Radiation, destabilizing existing configurations of energy, and reorganizing consciousness to a higher level. Solar Eclipses indicate the beginning of a new experience, project, or cycle.
This particular Eclipse season started on Oct. 15th, 10 days before the Solar Eclipse becomes exact, and it will end 14 days after the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus that follows this Solar Eclipse (in other words, by Nov. 23rd, 2022).
While Eclipse season is underway, allow for new templates to download, stay centered, and do your best to ground from within — try using conscious breathing and conscious mental flexibility — and best of all, see if you can move to the “observer position” when it comes to the emotional and mental body.
And remember, this won’t last forever: on Nov. 23rd, the downloads are complete 😉
Eclipses are times of uncertainty, Uranian in nature, so anything could happen between now and Nov. 23rd. It is important to remember that Eclipses open a door to the next level of our Soul’s evolution.
As best as you can, don’t jump the gun for the next 5.5 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to simply observe the urge. The exception would be something that just happens organically, but if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better to hold off until Eclipse Seasonends on Nov. 23rd.
Eclipses are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. We are bound to experience a release and recalibration of some sort — “old” programs will get deleted and new ones downloaded — and with this Eclipse this will be in connection with old traumas, sexual/intimate relations, or emotionally authentic connections.
Solar Eclipses are a good time to go within, to seed anything we would like to redefine or release over the next 6 months — we’ll dig into this in more detail towards the end of this article, when we talk about setting Solar Eclipse Intentions.
The Sun and Moon are connected to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse, alternating between North and South Node Eclipses, emphasizing the evolutionary upgrades that are available to us during such times.
This is the first South Node Solar Eclipse in Scorpio since the Moon Nodes moved into the Taurus-Scorpio polarity on January 18th, 2022. South Node Eclipses ask us to…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 0-7 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, or 28-29º of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 6-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just the next 28 days.
Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. We are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions… We also definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.
Thebest and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse is between 6:55am (on Oct. 27th) and 6:49am (on Oct. 29th) — (in US Eastern Daylight Savings Time — i.e. the New York time zone).
Set powerful intentions — again, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Scorpio energy!
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fan-page and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions 😉

Having this real time exchange makes a huge difference to the learning and understanding of all these patterns and energies. I love the question and answer section, especially since we get some advance indication of what the topics will be.
