On Sept. 14th at 9:40pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 22 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo onSept. 13th.Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.
This New Moon has an abundance of planets in Earth signs:the Moon, the Sun, and Mercury in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter, and Uranus in Taurus (all planets in Earth Signs).
The element of Earth deals with the physical reality of things and usually requires a practical approach. This means that our focus will be on those things for the next four weeks — on both the individual and collective levels.
We still have seven planets out of 9 in Retrograde motion when the New Moon becomes exact. With this many planets moving backward, we might feel things are not moving forward. If we experience this, we might want to look at what is holding us back — old fears and limiting beliefs stemming from unresolved trauma, childhood programming, and social conditioning.
We can see and take our next steps as we heal old wounds, break old patterns, and realize new perspectives.
I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first, let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:
Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.
This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin new projects that demand attention to detail, list-making, and taking pride in “small” accomplishments.
We might start a new health regimen, perhaps by paying close attention to our diet; we could also set up specific routines that help us manage our lives constructively and mindfully.
This cycle is about handling the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion so we can free our minds of clutter. Where could you use more open space?
Things to watch out for: sweating the details, worrying, and being extra-critical of ourselves and others when something doesn’t get done “right”.
Another great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo…

A great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: recognize, as best as you can, that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.
Ask yourself: How could I, as a Spirit-being, operate more efficiently in the physical world? Might tweaking my daily routines help me function better in the physical world? Might that also support me in being of service? What benefits might I reap if I could better discern between the essential and the redundant?
Let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this New Moon chart:
All planetary aspects call for integrating the energies involved; the tighter the aspect, the stronger the message.
Uranus in Taurus makes the closest aspect to this New Moon, inviting us to break out of old ruts and mindsets. We can ask ourselves: How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress in my daily routines? Where might I find something unexpected that changed my relationship to health and well-being?
As the higher octave of Mercury, Uranus represents our capacity to look at things differently and to use our connection to higher insights and ideas from the Universe or Source to revolutionize or reinvent ourselves in those areas where we have gotten ourselves stuck.
In Taurus, Uranus asks us to reinvent how we value ourselves, others, and our relationship to money, resources, and financial security. We need to acknowledge and see that how we have been treating ourselves, our bodies, others, and the Earth is no longer acceptable.
Ask yourself: What do I need to eliminate from my life that is draining, distracting, or destructive? How about the planet? What small or large shifts can I make daily to support our planet’s future? What about my body? My finances? Am I ready to shift my relationship to my body? Or to my finances?
We can also better connect to anything that requires attention to detail over the next four weeks (until Oct. 14th). We could also implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day-to-day lives that support our values and make life more enjoyable.
The Opposition to Neptune invites us to find a balance between the head and the heart. It could also bring up feelings of being ungrounded, overwhelmed or tired. Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed? Do I get easily distracted? Do I zone out?
If the answer to any of those is “yes”, center yourself in the here and now as best as you can; allow yourself to be present, listen to what’s inside of you (beyond the mind), and trust your intuitive Self.
Ask yourself: Could I simply tune in for a moment and see if I need to take a break (or at least slow down a little)? Could I do a little less than usual?
Could I listen to my intuition and make space for what matters most? Could I be 5% more compassionate and kind to myself and others?
The Trine to Plutoconnects Virgo’s analytical focus with Capricorn’s disciplined strength. Pluto in Capricorn invites us to empower ourselves and others for the long term — which can only be achieved when we acknowledge our limitations, shadow aspects, and fears in connection to our authority and standing in society — in other words, in relation to our sovereignty in the world.
The Trine helps us clarify what fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding us back from fully stepping into that sovereignty.
A scientific, neutral approach is key here! It’s not about right or wrong, good or bad. It’s simply about what is so, what’s helpful or hurtful, what works and what doesn’t.
Ask yourself: What do I need to take responsibility for? Where do I need to set better boundaries? What do I need to prioritize?
How could my discernment and practical decision-making abilities help me achieve an empowered relationship with my sovereignty in the world?
What if “simplifying my life” supported a deeper, more passionate, and authentic connection to my long-term goals? What fears are holding us back?
Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, is still retrograde in Virgo. Although too far by orb to be in a conjunction with the New Moon, they are in the same sign, and this brings more attention to how our thinking and investigating of what works and what doesn’t work for us can bring us better health, happiness, and wholeness.
Ask yourself: What could I focus on over the next 28 days that would support my overall health and happiness? What might a mindfulness practice do for me for the next four weeks?
How might being 5% more aware of my thoughts — and how they influence my general well-being — serve me in the long run?
Mercury is highly exaltedat the time of the New Moon, as it will halt the following day (on Sept. 15th) — ending its three-week Retrograde phase.
Once direct (after Sept. 15th), ask yourself: What have I learned about my physical reality in the last three weeks?
If you made any list over the past three weeks, ask yourself: Which items or projects on this list would benefit from further investigation? What is ready to be resolved or checked off?
Mercury will reach the degree of this New Moon (22º) on Sept. 30th, 2023. So watch out for any messages you will receive at that time.
On Sept. 30th, ask yourself: What needs improvement or fixing? What (if anything) would be better to ignore or set aside?
What health or work routine problems can be solved at this time? What is helpful to my greater well-being? What isn’t? What’s coming up regarding “being whole” and “humble”?
The Trine to Jupiter will be exact on Sept. 25th. Trines are not as pushy or motivating as other aspects, so they could remain untapped and unexpressed. If possible, use this Trine to gain a new perspective or philosophy around decluttering, healthcare, healing, and self-growth.
Once we understand the inseparability of body & mind, healing & wholeness, we can improve our health, and our relationship with our body-mind will shift.
Ask yourself: When I start to feel a sense of separation within myself, with my body, or with others, could I then experiment with refraining from criticism towards myself, my body, or others just for one day?
What does “wholeness” mean to me? How can my mind support my body and vice versa? How could optimistic thoughts help me have a healthy relationship to myself? How about around my self-worth? My body? Talents? Finances?
Ask yourself: What if the voice in my head that narrates and comments on everything was just an aspect of who I am — or even just something I’m aware of, and not the totality of who I am?
And if I’m more than just that voice, what else am I — in other words, what is beyond “thinking” or “narrating”?
This opposition also asks us to slow down a notch, especially when it comes to communication and learning or processing information.
We may want to move fast, but that is not very beneficial at this time — and will not lead to long-term fulfillment.
Ask yourself: What do I notice when I direct my attention to this now-moment, connecting with my direct experience of life right here, right now? What’s truly important and necessary now? What might I notice if I took 5% more responsibility for how my choice of words lands? Internally and externally?
To sum it all up, the message of this New Moon is loud and clear:
It spotlights how less can be more (clutter, “busyness”, stress) and how this translates into a more satisfying and meaningful life over the long term.
If we could also learn how to let go of needing to criticize others or denigrate ourselves, we would have a chance at greater peace of mind and an experience of connection rather than separation.
For the next 28 days, apply what you learn, embody what you know, and integrate body, heart, mind, and soul! Be Mindful. Dedicate yourself to what’s essential with compassion in your heart! Remember that perfection is not a goal; it is a journey!
Ask yourself: What if I favored progress over perfection? How could I release “old” programming? What if I discerned what’s truly important to me and focused there for improvement? How do I communicate my thoughts and findings to others?
Again, feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject.
[/wcm_restrict] Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 20-24 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 9:40pm Thursday evening (Sept. 14th) and 9:49am Friday late morning (Sept. 15th); and then again from 1:44pm on Sept. 15th until 9:40pm on Saturday, Sept. 16th (New York-time).

On August 30th, at 9:36pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 7.5 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo — the entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Wednesday morning (Aug. 30th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.
This is the third of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects. It is also the second Full Moon in the same calendar month (in this case, August) and thus an example of the famous “Blue Moon“!
On Aug. 30th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Aug. 16th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?
This Full Moon has seven planets in Retrograde motion: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within.
It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go. It also reminds us that internal shifts are required before changing our life or the world.
Often, things appear to slow down during a retrograde passage because internal shifts have to happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, though, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.
With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with an exalted Venus, Jupiter & Uranus — they are exalted because they are reducing their speed in preparation to change directions.
Here, we are getting ready to re-evaluate old beliefs and perspectives or attitudes, as well as our cultural conditioning (Jupiter Retrograde in Taurus); between Sept. 4th and Dec. 30th, this will focus on our finances, our ability to create abundance and see ourselves as worthy.
For a more in-depth interpretation of how this applies to your own birth chart, join us live for the Forum on Friday, Sept. 1st, or get the mp4-video presentation of the live event. Either way, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered). Early Bird Pricing is still available until Aug. 30th at midnight EDT!
Uranus in Tauruscomes to a haltonly two days before the Full Moon becomes exact, on Aug. 28th!, starting its yearly 5-month Retrograde phase that will last until January 27th, 2024.
Since Uranus represents things like breaking away from traditional structures, moving towards a new future that serves others and ourselves, inner and outer freedoms, etc. — these themes will be in our awareness, for better or worse.
Ask yourself: If I’m being completely honest, how free do I feel with my body, finances, and talents? Am I honoring my individuality? My differences? Am I connecting to a larger vision for the future? Is anything holding me back?

Now let’s address this Full Moon’s polarities (if you are already familiar with this polarity, feel free to skip this part and go straight to the Full Moon aspects below):
The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, and matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?
This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, in contrast with Pisces‘ call to open our hearts and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind).
In fact, on an energetic level, there is no separation; everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).
Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Seemingly different, yes, but not separate…
Virgo is connected to our mental processes — it analyzes — whereas Pisces is connected to our intuitive processes, feels, and senses.
Virgo seeks physical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness — a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life and its mysteries.
To be at its best, Virgo aims for practical applications and to be of service. In contrast, Pisces learns to listen to inner/intuitive guidance above all else, using its imagination to bring love and light into this world, sprinkle some mystery fairy dust, and create Paradise on Earth.
When these two archetypes are balanced within, we discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.
That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons:
Virgo’s shadow side is self-deprecation and judgment; the latter creates separation from others and a split within ourselves. Ask yourself: What if I did 5% less “perfection” and 5% more “process improvement”? What if it were ok to not know everything 100%? Could I be of service to others while also improving my understanding of things?
How might “making mistakes” be beneficial to me? What if I celebrated “mistakes” as stepping stones to a better life?
Simply observe: Does my inner dialog observe and discern what is productive vs. what is unproductive (i.e., what works or what doesn’t)? Or do I label things as “good or bad” (or “right vs. wrong”)?
You could say that Pisces is an antidote to judgment: in its lightest expression, it understands that we are all souls in various states of development, with different paths in the world — we are all love at our core, and everything is ultimately an expression or variation of love.
The shadow side of Piscesis a lack of boundaries, getting lost in various illusions, fantasies, and escapism (this stems from being highly sensitive, feeling everything, and becoming overwhelmed).
As you may have guessed, the remedy for the Pisces shadow lies in the lighter vibrations of Virgo; these include the ability to focus on what works (versus what doesn’t), to make practical choices, and to make the best use of our daily engagements while taking care of our physical wellbeing.
When the Pisces– and Virgo-energies are integrated, we marry a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart — a mind in partnership with our intuitive sensing!
Ask yourself: What tools might shift my view of reality from either/or to both/and? From the mind-activity of “wanting to understand” and “know” to the heart-activity of true understanding?
Let’s look at some of the aspects of this Super Full Moon chart:
The Moon in Pisces aligns with Saturn. This asks us to slow down and clarify our divinity and connection to the “All”. We are invited to practice focusing on the present moment and learning about the benefits of stillness and silence.
Staying in an unconscious relationship with life and choosing to be the victim of our circumstances or other people’s behaviors is no longer the path forward.
Saturn asks us to take responsibility for our connection to all of life and be conscious around our choice of what to create over the long term. We get to choose how we interact with the world.
Ask yourself: What feels like an energetic match? What doesn’t? What choices help me sleep better at night? Be more present during the day? What choices are likely to support a healthy relationship with my sixth sense? My intuition?
Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, opposes Mercury, the ruler of Virgo; both planets are in their own sign and Retrograde, so we feel this opposition internally but powerfully.
A retrograde Mercury urges us to slow down, turn inward, and revamp or release what is no longer working in our daily lives. In Virgo, this works best when we look back over the past three months, make lists, look at the pros and cons of situations, neutrally observe what works and what doesn’t, and practice mindfulness!
With this opposition, we form solid intuitive connections but may struggle to focus, which could lead to confusion or wishful thinking.
Ask yourself: How could I use this imaginative energy to my advantage? What could I daydream or fantasize about that supports a trusting connection with my higher Self, my guides, life itself, or my fellow human beings?
What role does intuition play in my “thinking” and “relating & connecting”? What am I looking to dissolve at this time? Release? Or reconnect with compassion and trust in my heart?
If you identify as a creative, spiritual person, see if you can add a dash of logical, discerning, and scientific flavor to the mix. If you are generally rational, practical, and fact-based, see if you can add a dash of imagination, flow, trust, and creativity.
The sextile to Pluto makes it easier to surrender our fears about our position in the world and our achievements; we can more easily be guided by inspiration and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term or as a society.
Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears concerning past trauma or disempowerment? Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowering experience in society?
Neptune’s Sextile to the exalted Uranus helps us trust our inner processes while allowing the Universe/Source/our Higher Selves to guide us toward a unique relationship with the Earth, our bodies, and our sense of self-worth.
Ask yourself: Supposing everything is energy, and everything is always in perfect alignment on an energetic level, what might tuning into my energy-body provide? If I did tune in, is it at least possible that I would achieve a more perfect alignment with my values? Or deepen my sense of self-worth?
What would trusting the unfolding of a unique relationship with my body look like to me? How about with the Earth?
Neptune also makes a Quincunx to the South Node in Libra. Quincunxes require that we make a subtle but significant shift in how we perceive and do things via an inner adjustment. This one could make our one-on-one interactions somewhat challenging.
Ask yourself: Where does the inner experience of love and connectedness meet the outer? Where might my relationships not fit my ideals, dreams, and fantasies?
Could I hang out with the discomfort this brings up for me? Could I make some inner adjustments? Adopt a new perspective on my inner and outer experience of love and connection?
Mercury’s Trine to the exalted Jupiterheightens our ability to see the bigger picture and helps us sprinkle a dash of humor over our daily interactions with others.
Optimism plays a significant role here as well. Ask yourself: What could I take care of at this time that is in service to my physical & mental wellbeing? Or perhaps my bank account?
Mercury also continues to make a Quincunx to Chiron in Aries, which was exact both on the day of the last New Moon and will be exact on the day of the current Full Moon. You can get more on those aspects from the most recent “New Moon in Leo” video & article.
Mercury’s Quincunx to Chiron is telling us that we need to make internal adjustments in our thinking and judgment of how long it may take to heal physical, emotional, or mental wounding from the past.
Because of its retrograde passage, Mercury makes three Quincunxes to Chiron: August 16th (at 19º43’ Virgo-Aries, day of the New Moon) was the first, August 30th (at 19º21’, day of the Full Moon) will be the second, and September 27th (at 18º17’) will be the third time.
Ask yourself: What physical, emotional, or mental wounds call for healing? Where does judgmental and perfectionistic thinking hold me back?
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate to yourself. Ask yourself: Could I hang out with the inner discomfort this is stirring up, just for right now? Could I give myself permission to observe rather than judge?
Ask yourself: What am I observing about myself and my life perspectives and expectations of others? What is enough… and what is too much?
To summarize: we are invited to heal the disconnect between head and heart, body and soul, and matter and spirit. This Super Full Moon teaches us about opening our hearts and emphasizes improving all levels of our being.
It is important to remember that Spirit is never separate from matter. One informs the other. We are all eternal, spiritual beings learning how to be human.
Ask yourself: If I knew in advance that everything would work out for the best, what would I be willing to endure? What actions would I take? What conclusions might I come to if I trusted my sixth sense?
Allow yourself to slow down and connect with nature, your body, and your breath. Let yourself be guided by inspiration, whether your own, other people’s, nature’s, your pet’s, etc.
If nothing else, do your best to take 5-minute breaks here and there and use them to get quiet and be with yourself (i.e., your intuitive/feeling Self).
Ask yourself: What might a healthy connection with the energetic world feel like? What if I became just 5% more interested in my inner world? What if I embraced whatever I discovered there? Could I simply allow “what is” to “just be” for this moment?
I recommend journaling to log what you observe over the next two weeks; that way, you can start implementing things right away when Venus and Mercury are no longer Retrograde.

The next Full Moon will be “exact” on March 7th, at 7:40am EST in 16.5 degrees of Virgo — and by then, we are halfway through the Lunar cycle that started on February 20th.
Look at the New Moon Intentions you set around Feb. 20th or 21st, and ask yourself: How far have I come with those Intentions? If I’m not where I’d like to be with my goals, what new course might bring them closer?
We start to feel the build-up towards this Full Moon when the Moon enters Virgo on March 5th at 10:38pm EST.
This particular Full Moon has a planetary line-up in Pisces and Aries and is part of a T-Square with Mars in Gemini as the Focal Point. We will examine other Moon aspects, including the trine to Uranus in Taurus and the Quincunx to Venus in Aries. More about all of this in a moment…
We also have two planets (Saturn & Pluto) in 29º of their signs (in this Full Moon chart) — an exalted degree — bringing heightened energy (possibly a bit of an obsession) to our need to complete and accomplish something worthwhile.
Saturn changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces only 55 minutes after the Full Moon becomes exact! This changes our focus for the next 2.5 years! What needs your focus and commitment until 2025/26? How can you turn your dreams into reality?
We will talk in more detail about Saturn’s journey through Pisces — and how it all relates to your birth chart — in our Forecasting Forum on Monday, March 6th. This 2.5-year journey invites us to find a new connection with Source or One-Consciousness/Presence – collectively and individually.
If you want to know how Saturn will impact you personally, you can access/purchase the mp4-video recording of “Saturn’s Journey through Pisces”here.
Now, a Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; during these oppositions, we seek balance, alignment, and integration around two perspectives that seem opposites.
We often experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.
The balance we seek between Virgo and Pisces seems to be the fundamental challenge of our time: to integrate head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion. This Full Moon shows each of us…

This Full Moon shows each of us how far we have come with integrating those two seemingly opposite archetypes within ourselves — and how far we have yet to go.
Let’s take a look at the polarity of this Full Moon:
The Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. Virgo seeks personal and practical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all life.
Virgo benefits from apprenticeship, whereas Pisces learns to trust inner guidance above all else — when balanced, we can discern without judgment, serve without obligation, and love all of creation, including ourselves.
Virgo analyzes, Pisces feels: We are invited to discern what’s real to make healthier choices.
To find the balance between Virgo and Pisces, ask yourself: Where do I need to be more selective? More accepting? What if my inner knowingness could inform practical choices? What if “choosing” was already (and always) in alignment with divine timing?
What results might I get in my daily life if I dissolved my fears, judgments, and painful memories? Even if I could only do that as best as I could? What else might bring more inner peace?
All Full Moons bring awareness to a polarity, and this illuminates the shadow sides of both signs:
Please note that the Shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace, but it is an essential process to move into the lighter vibrations of any sign.
Virgo’s shadow side is “Judgement”; this creates separation from others and a split within ourselves, closing our hearts and limiting our ability to learn. It keeps us stuck in duality, defending our position or attacking others. It’s what shows up when we label things as “good or bad” rather than seeing them in terms of “useful or unproductive”.
Drawing on the higher vibrations of Pisces helps us connect with Virgo’s higher vibration…Pisces’s best qualities are compassion, intuitiveness, open-heartedness, inspirational creativity, and imagination; at its best, Pisces understands that we are all souls in various states of development, doing our best.
The shadow side of Pisces is ambiguity, escapism, helplessness or victimization, and poor or missing boundaries. And just as the converse is true, the best qualities of Virgo can move us back into the higher vibration of Pisces — qualities like the ability to choose wisely and to discern what works and what doesn’t objectively.
When both sides are well-integrated, we possess acuity of mind, united with our heart’s wisdom and intuition’s guidance.
Ask yourself: What single step would I take here and now if I were setting out to employ 5% more self-compassion, unconditional love, and selfless service?
What if synergies existed between my emotional, intuitive, and rational/scientific understanding? Do I have to choose between scientific facts & intuitive knowingness? What if I could have both?
Let’s talk about what’s important in this particular Full Moon chart:
The modern ruler of Pisces (Neptune) is part of the planetary Pisces line-up, and the traditional ruler of Pisces (Jupiter) is part of the Aries line-up. Let’s start with the line-up in Pisces:
Mercuryis the first planet in the Pisces line-up, followed by the Sun and then Neptune in Pisces. This line-up of planets asks us to go within and trust our intuition and connection to Source above all else.
Since Mercury is also the ruler of Virgo and in opposition to the Moon, this position is important! We are invited to get very clear about spiritual/intuitive experiences or creative endeavors. We are also invited to stay centered in our hearts and tune in and see if we need to take a break or at least slow down a little.
Our imagination (and how we use it) is also vital here. So, ask yourself: What am I imagining? For myself? For others? For this planet? Are my imaginings coming out of fear?
What might be possible creatively if I allowed myself to daydream just 5% more than I have in the past? What might a short nap do for my ability to process information and stay in the flow?
How might compassionate and soothing self-dialogue support my connection to Source? To Life? To other Souls?
Now let’s look at the line-up in Ariesbefore we talk about the T-Square and some more Moon aspects…
Jupiter (the traditional ruler of Pisces), followed by Chiron, and then Venus, make for a strong alinement in Aries. This asks us to examine our beliefs about our wounds around relationships or our sense of self-worth.
Ask yourself: If I looked at my limitations through the lens of the human-soul alliance, might it help heal my relationship with my human persona — how I present myself to the world — and eventually also to my relationships with others?
Could I bring the gift of compassion, understanding, and forgiveness to my insecurities or feelings of unworthiness whenever it’s needed? Could I also gift that to others?
Healing happens much faster when we are open to forgiving ourselves and embracing ourselves exactly as we are (and are not). Therefore ask yourself: For the next two weeks, just as an experiment, could I permit myself to be fully myself? All of who I am — including my limitations, humanity, insecurities, sensitivities, and everything else?
The T-square, involving the Full Moon polarity and Mars as the Focal Point, invites us to focus on the bigger picture and let ourselves go beyond our day-to-day thinking to a broader, more philosophical mode.
Ask yourself: What might I see if I took a step back and allowed the bigger picture to emerge? What might be possible if I kept an open mind and investigated my options with a neutral, open curiosity?
This T-Square does put a lot of stress on Mars in Gemini, so we may feel impatient — but moving faster or doing more is not necessarily better. We tend to feel scattered or mentally over-exert ourselves. This could lead to feeling disconnected or restless and stress our nervous systems.
All this is an invitation to ask yourself: How do I use my mental energies? Am I exhausting myself? Do I feel overwhelmed? How can I balance understanding the facts with heeding my intuitive knowingness?
Might an impulsive or rash decision create more chaos rather than less? What if I asked myself daily: “Where does universal timing fit in all of this”?
The Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus & quincunxes Venus in Aries; and opposes not just the Sun but also Mercury & Neptune in Pisces. Let’s unpack all of that…
This Moon placement trining Uranus makes it easier to connect with the physical world in a new and innovative way, including how we connect with our own body and planet.
An increased ability to discern “what’s what” can support us in making some vital choices in our physical world that further our physical, emotional, and mental well-being long-term (in other words: wholeness). This could increase our enjoyment and connection to the planet we live on and value.
Ask yourself: How could paying 5% more attention to detail help me be more discerning about how I connect to my body? To the planet? What might open up if I implemented health routines or other systems that support my physical, emotional, and mental well-being in a new way?
The Moon’s Quincunx to Venus in Aries signifies that we must make some inner adjustments. This demands that we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the need to tend to our daily routines or health routines, to be precise and practical in our thinking and at work — and on the other hand, we value our independence and want to satisfy our passions and goals.
The key here is to be of service and allow for “me-time” so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy.
Ask yourself: Could I give myself permission to observe rather than judge? To be neutral toward my personal experiences? What might it look like if I made space for some “me-time”? Could I allow myself to be of service to others yet take care of myself and my passions?
Apropos Venus, if you missed our online Mini-Retreat: “A Taste of Venus!” in February, we will be doing another one of these Mini-Retreats since it was so popular ==> Save the date: April 5th in your calendar, so you can join us live. This Mini-Retreat is not available as a recording, since it is quite experiential, and therefore more powerful and impactful when attended live.
The Moon’s opposition to the Mercury/Sun/Neptune alignment in Pisces asks us to bring more awareness to our interconnectedness with others and to our daily routines — and to find a healthy balance between head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion.
Ask yourself:What might a daily practice of self-forgiveness, acceptance, and learning to love myself do for me? Could I allow myself to release my fears and bless everyone I encounter?
How could I simplify my life and have more quiet/soul time? Where would it serve me to be more discerning about how I spend my time and energy?
To sum it all up for this Full Moon: Virgo asks us to become aware of the clutter that is distracting us from our priorities, and take a little more pride in “small” accomplishments, so ask yourself:
What in my current daily life is nourishing? And what might be toxic? Where are things piling up? How can I make healthier choices? How could even small accomplishments make my life better and easier in the long run?
If we recognize that we are doing the best we can at any given time and that on a spiritual level, all “mistakes” are just “experiences”, we can learn about empathy — and our brain will re-pattern itself around compassion, rather than criticism.
Ask yourself: What if I stood in a place of allowing, curiosity, and creative spaciousness? Am I currently using my imagination to inspire or scare myself?
What might I notice if I were 5% more mindful of my inner dialog? What if I brought 5% more compassion to myself? Even to my inner critic? And even to my fearful mind chatter?
When you feel ungrounded or overwhelmed, ask yourself: Could I slow down and notice my breathing? What might breathing deeply and mindfully bring to this moment?
Remember: our future is birthed breath-by-breath, step-by-step, heart-by-heart.

On September 10th, at 5:59am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 17.5 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo.
The entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Thursday night/Friday very early morning (Sept. 8/9th) starts the energetic build up towards this Full Moon – if you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.
On Sept. 10th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the Aug. 27th New Moon? What can we see now that was not apparent then?
This Full Moon has seven planets in Retrograde motion: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. This indicates a strong need for inner processing and aligning ourselves with those planetary energies from within. It’s a necessary phase of re-evaluation, restructuring, and letting go.
If you are dealing with bigger issues right now, or would like to get some support with one area of your life, take a look at my new Coaching packages. They are designed to give you maximum support and dramatic progress in an area of your life that demands your attention.
Things appear to slow down during a Retrograde passage, as internal shifts must happen before we can progress; once a planet turns direct, we feel ready to move forward in that area of life.
Of those seven Retrograde planets, Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto will start to go direct in October; we will then get the opportunity to bring all of our inner discoveries to the outside world.
With this Full Moon, we are also dealing with an exalted Mercury — Mercury in Libra comes to a halt less than 6.5 hours before the Full Moon becomes exact on Sept. 9th at 11:38pm EDT, starting its third Retrograde phase of this year — it lasts until Oct. 2nd.
For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, in connection with Mercury’s Retrograde phase in Libra/Virgo, join us live for the Forum on Sept. 10th, or get the mp4-video presentation of the live event.
Either way, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered).
We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mercury Retrograde in Libra); between now and Sept. 23rd, this will focus on our one-on-one relationships and ability to create balance in our lives.
Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities (if you are already familiar with this polarity, feel free to skip this part and go straight to the Full Moon aspects below):
The Pisces/Virgo polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, and matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?
This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward…

This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, in contrast with Pisces‘ call to open our hearts and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind). In fact, on an energetic level, there is no separation; everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).
Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Seemingly different, yes, but not separate…
Virgo is connected to our mental processes — it analyzes — whereas Pisces, with its connection to our intuitive processes, feels, and senses.
The shadow side of Piscesis a lack of boundaries, getting lost in illusions, fantasies, and escapism of various sorts (this stems from being highly sensitive, feeling everything, and becoming overwhelmed).
Let’s look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon:
The Moon in Pisces sextiles the Uranus/North Node alignment in Taurus, and the Sun in Virgo trines it. So let’s take a look at those one-by-one:
The Moon’s Sextile to the Uranus/North Node alignment (and trine to the South Node in Scorpio) provides a unique opportunity to more courageously trust our inner processes while also allowing the Universe/Source/our Higher Selves to step in and guide us towards a unique relationship with the Earth, with our bodies, and with our sense of self-worth.
Ask yourself: Supposing everything is energy, and everything is always in perfect alignment on an energetic level, what might getting more in tune with my energy-body bring me? If I did tune in, is it at least possible that I could achieve a more perfect alignment with my values? Or my sense of worth? What would trusting the unfolding of a unique relationship with my body look like to me? How about with the Earth?
Allow yourself to slow down and connect with nature, your body, and your breath. Let yourself be guided by inspiration, whether your own, other people’s, nature’s, your pet’s, etc.
Ask yourself: What would it look like if I allowed myself to get and stay in tune with the creative process unfolding in every moment?
If nothing else, do your best to take 5-minute breaks here and there if you possibly can; use them to get quiet and be with yourself (your intuitive/feeling Self).
Ask yourself: What might a healthy connection with the energetic world feel like? What if I became just 5% more interested in my inner world? What if I simply embraced whatever I discovered there? Could I simply allow “what is” to “just be” for this moment?
The Sun’s Trine to the Uranus/North Node alignment (and sextile to the South Node in Scorpio) supports clarity around whatever fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding us back. We want to create a better future for ourselves and others. Originality and innovation come more easily now.
Ask yourself: How could my discernment and practical decision-making abilities help me manifest a unique connection to myself and my talents? What part of my physical reality is reorganizing and needs my innovative spirit?
How might sudden ideas spark activities that feel in alignment with my values? And, looking at things from a different angle: What might be possible on a practical level with a more extensive network of like-minded people?
The Moon in Pisces aligns with Neptune — the ruler of Pisces — and the planet has been in its own sign since April 2011). This calls on us to extend compassion, acceptance, or forgiveness to family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general (collectively and individually speaking). Unconditional love for our feeling-body and responses towards the world is also beneficial.
We may feel more sensitive — more tuned in to other people’s feelings or suffering — and this gives us the opportunity to experience the full range of all emotions as they arise and to sense our interconnectedness with everything around us.
Ask yourself: What would it look like if I allowed the flow of all feelings? If I let my heart soften? Could I be 5% more open to the beauty all around me? How might nature be my teacher in all of this?
If I start to feel overwhelmed by what I am feeling or experiencing, could I simply give myself 10 minutes to connect to nature somehow?
Spiritual practices are also wonderful here (such as meditation, breathing exercises, mindfulness exercises, etc.); the same is true of spiritual/energetic healing modalities like Reiki, “Access Consciousness Bars”, shiatsu, acupuncture, etc. These can help us tap into the higher vibrations of Pisces and Neptune’s energies.
What else can help us experience our connection to “the all”? The creative flow of dance, singing, music, sound, etc. — and positive emotions such as love, gratitude, and compassion.
Neptune in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. Surrendering our fears about our position in the world and our achievements gets a little easier; we can more easily be guided by inspiration and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term or as a society.
Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears concerning past trauma or disempowerment? What has been in my face recently when it comes to such fears?
Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowering experience in society?
Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is currently retrograde in Libra and exalted. It opposes Jupiter & Chiron in Aries and trines Mars in Gemini. Let’s unpack that:
Mercury’s Trine to Mars allows for more ease around collaboration and revisiting conversations from the past three weeks.
Ask yourself: Who might welcome an open-minded, balanced, and sustainable collaboration? Where can I build mutual respect with others? What needs to be readdressed or revisited from the past three weeks? And with whom?
Mercury’s Opposition to Jupiter & Chiron asks us to bring a new perspective to our wounds from the past and our interactions with others. Expect some overthinking, impulsive communication, and impatience. Given this, do your best to take an “observer” position toward your mind — listen to your thoughts, catch yourself thinking — especially since Mercury is Retrograde already at the time of the Full Moon.
Ask yourself: What benefits might I reap if I listened 5% more closely to my thoughts without needing to do anything about what I hear? Might I be able to see the bigger picture more easily from the observer position?
Might that contribute to having a better relationship with myself and others? What role could humor play in all of this?
In other words: as best as you can, practice listening to yourself, others, and your body. Listening is an art form that helps us tap into inner and body wisdom.
We may also feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with and our ability to be assertive. Ask yourself: How might being more accepting of myself despite (or even including) my self-doubt make me a more compassionate collaborator and ally?
Should someone trigger you (or vice versa), direct compassion and kindness towards both of you as best you can. Ask yourself: Am I experiencing guilt or shame? Is that connected to my past and/or upbringing? What if this were an opportunity to embrace my wounded inner masculine with love and kindness?
Jupiter in Aries also quincunxes Venus in Virgo. Jupiter’s Quincunx to Venuscould make social interactions somewhat tricky. We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that leave us feeling satisfied. Bring as good a dose of optimism and humor to yourself and your relationships as possible.
Jupiter in Aries is bold and adventurous, while Venus in Virgo prefers to be humble and “of service”; these might seem like contradictory experiences, but choosing the higher road will influence how you see things and how you experience life — and remember: no matter what comes up, just like everything else, it is only temporary 😉
Ask yourself: Could I give myself permission to observe rather than judge? To be bold? To bring humor to myself and others when a new perspective arises in my relationships? To be neutral toward my personal experiences?
Venus in Virgo squares Mars in Gemini. This aspect asks that we stretch ourselves with regard to the feminine/masculine dynamic as it manifests both “inside” and “outside”: a shift needs to occur. Competitiveness, anger, frustration, or angst might be present. Balancing and integrating masculine and feminine energies within ourselves will be very useful now.
Ask yourself: What might a balance between masculine and feminine energies look like for me? Where might I learn something new about myself and my body that changes my relationship to health and well-being? When is it essential to move on something fast, and when is it better to pause and discern what’s best for my well-being?
Mars in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries. This aspect is an opportunity to learn more about our limitations and “humanness”, especially in connection with the wounded masculine.
Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? What if I took a curious approach toward my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities? How might this support my healing process? Someone else’s?
Remember: Anger can be a reaction to a boundary violation and sometimes a cover for another emotion — often fear, sometimes sadness, and maybe feeling ashamed or inadequate.
Ask yourself: Knowing this, could I bring 5% more curiosity to any expressions of anger or frustration that arise? When anger comes up, what if I practiced asking myself what might be underneath it that I can’t access now?
To summarize: we are invited to heal the disconnect between head and heart, body and soul, and matter and spirit. This Full Moon teaches us about opening our hearts and emphasizes improving all levels of our being.
It is important to remember that Spirit is never separate from matter. One informs the other. We are all eternal, spiritual beings, learning how to be human.
Ask yourself: If I knew in advance that everything was going to work out for the best, what would I be willing to endure? What actions would I take? What conclusions might I come to if I trusted my sixth sense?
Over the next two weeks (after Sept. 10th), we are invited to allow for the flow of things and let go of destructive attachments and connections.
As best as you can, stay curious and open-minded. Be direct without offending others. We are all on an extraordinary, unprecedented evolutionary journey; the faster things appear to happen, the better it is to slow down.
Ask yourself: What if the greatest gift I could give myself over the next two weeks was the liberation of my heart energies?
Remember: Each “now moment” is a “new moment,” and each new moment empowers us to make new choices if we choose to do so 😉

On Aug. 27th at 4:17am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 4 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon enters Virgo on Friday evening (Aug. 26th). Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.
Before we jump in, I just want to say that I have a big announcement to make, so please stay tuned until the end, or skip to the part of the article, right before I talk about setting Intentions!
This New Moon makes a strong Square to Mars in Gemini. This creates some challenges.Mars will be in this fidgety sign for a total of 7 months, due to its Retrograde phase in late October. The Square will only last until Sept. 2nd, however since it is part of this New Moon chart we can feel its impact for the next 28 days (until Sept. 25th).
The good news is that Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) makes a Trine (a supportive, harmonious aspect) to Mars in Gemini, and Jupiter in Aries, makes a Sextile (an opportune aspect) to Mars in Gemini in this New Moon chart, so it’s not all bad news 😉
I will talk more about all of this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:
Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.
This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin new projects that demand attention to detail, list-making, and taking pride in “small” accomplishments. We might start a new health regimen, perhaps by paying close attention to our diet; we could also set up specific routines that help us manage our lives in constructive and mindful ways.
This cycle is all about handling the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion, so we can free our minds of clutter. Where could you use more open space?
Things to watch out for: sweating the details, worrying, and being extra-critical of ourselves and others when something doesn’t get done “right”.
A great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo…

A great way to step into the higher vibrations of Virgo: recognize, as best as you can, that humility, self-improvement, and being of service bring you closer to your inner divinity and your Soul’s path.
Ask yourself: How could I, as a Spirit-being, operate more efficiently in the physical world? Might tweaking my daily routines help me function better in the physical world? Might that also support me in being of service? What benefits might I reap if I could better discern between the essential and the redundant?
Since the New Moon in Virgo makes a challenging aspect to Mars in Gemini, we can ask ourselves: Am I staying busy just for the sake of “busyness”? Am I exhausting myself? Am I judging myself? Others? Where is my mind on overdrive?
Could I try to engage with life and others 5% more from a place of curiosity? Could I let go of my need to judge and know better just for one day? Could I repeat that practice for the next 28 days?
This Square might stir up impatience and frustration when things don’t line up perfectly right away. We may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map with this combo. We might feel driven by a restless desire to “do something”, but we are also invited to discern what works best for our whole well-being. Notice when your busy mind distracts you from being discerning!
Should this show up for you in the next four weeks, ask yourself: What is helpful rather than wasteful? What might shift if I trusted in the timing of everything that is currently unfolding? What if my mind could engage with curiosity and be discerning at the same time?
How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress in my daily routines? Where might I learn something new about myself and my body that would change my relationship to health and wellbeing?
Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, is still moving through its pre-Shadow phaseuntil Sept. 9th. This means that for the next 2 weeks, we are traveling through territory that will be significant even past this Moon phase — as we need to revisit certain things during Mercury’s Retrograde phase (Sept. 9th – Oct. 2nd).
To find out how you can best use Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase to your advantage, watch “Mercury’s pre-Shadow phase in Virgo/Libra” to see how this relates to your Birth Chart…
Mercury, currently in Libra, makes a wide opposition to Jupiter in Aries and forms a Trine with Mars in Gemini. Let’s unpack that:
Mercury’s Opposition to Jupiter indicates that we need to find a balance between two very different energies — on the one hand, seeking a new perspective and approach towards our “persona” and our personal goals — and on the other hand, our need to communicate and harmoniously collaborate with others. Self-growth and learning about collaborating with others is a strong preference now.
Ask yourself: How might we be able to support each other on our self-improvement journeys? What if taking a broader perspective toward my personal goals & passions actually made for more harmonious conversations with others?
Could I allow others to share something with me that might contribute to a more extensive exploration of my “persona”? How about vice versa? Could I share something with others that might contribute to a more extensive exploration of someone else’s persona, identity, or personal goals?
Mercury’s Trine to Mars gives us the opportunity to raise our mental vibrations, making it easier to connect with others while staying open-minded.
Collaboration comes more easily as long as we remember to stay open-minded and curious. Ask yourself: What collaborations will best serve me over the next four weeks? Where can I learn something about relationships or myself? Who might welcome a dialogue that is open-minded and creates connection?
Mars in Gemini also sextiles Jupiter in Aries, making these next 28 days a good time to promote anything we want to share in connection with self-growth or learning a new skill.
Ask yourself: What could I share or learn right now that would help expand my perspectives or the perspectives of others? In what ways could I set an example that would support a learning experience for others? What kind of perspectives about myself or attitudes towards life would support a beneficial outcome in my daily interactions with others?
Venus in Leo makes some important aspects as well: she opposes Saturn in Aquarius and squares the Uranus/North Node alignment in Taurus (consequently, also squaring the South Node in Scorpio). This creates a similar dynamic to what we already experienced with the last Full Moon in Aquarius and the previous New Moon in Leo. The only difference would be that now we have Venus involved instead of the Sun or Mercury.
This combo asks us to grow and stretch beyond what we know and have experienced in the past regarding our relationships, especially our romantic ones. Priorities may shift. We could also be withdrawing or holding back a little as we attempt to figure out what we want and need — and what we enjoy. This is not the best time to take things too personally (but then again, is there ever a good time for that?)
Ask yourself: Could I practice keeping my mind and heart 5% more open for the next 28 days? What are the current limitations in my life trying to teach me?
How might taking a deep breath and holding off on impulsive decision-making about finances or relationships support my current situation? Might taking this deep breath also help me in dealing with any feelings of instability, restlessness, or uncertainty?
If I trusted life and its unfolding completely, what would I do then?
To sum it all up, the message of this New Moon is loud and clear: It spotlights how less can be more (clutter, “busyness”, stress) and how this translates into a more satisfying and meaningful life long-term.
It is in our best and highest interest, over the next 28 days, to learn how to use our rational minds, to develop our capacity to analyze and improve daily routines, assimilate, and serve. If we also learn how to let go of needing to criticize others or denigrate ourselves, we have a chance for peace of mind and an experience of connection rather than separation.
Once we understand the inseparability of body & mind, healing & wholeness, we can start to improve our health, and our relationship to our body-mind will shift.
Ask yourself: When I start to feel a sense of separation within myself or with others, could I then experiment with refraining from criticism towards myself or others just for one day? What does “wholeness” mean to me? How can my mind support my body and vice versa?
Be Mindful. Dedicate yourself to what’s vital with compassion in your heart! Remember that perfection is not a goal; it is a journey!
Ask yourself: What if I favored progress over perfection? What does “being humble” mean to me? How could I release “old” traumas? What if I discerned what’s truly important to me and focused on improvements? How do I share my thoughts and findings with others?
When life becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways we can’t comprehend.
Also, feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.
[/wcm_restrict] Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 2-6 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
And here is the announcement! With the current Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio, we are invited to investigate ourselves on a deeper level and release any emotional baggage from the past or inauthentic/toxic connections with others, so we can step into greater abundance and have a realization of our worthiness on this physical plane.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances in my life this year, I have been doing a lot of deep inner work on myself and also with some of my clients. The results have been phenomenal so far. This sparked the idea of creating two new Coaching Packages that can support this more profound and more meaningful journey in our lives.
One of the new offerings is a Life Crises Package, which gives you some very intensive support for 21 days/3 weeks; I created this package for anyone who is going through a massive shift in their lives, something that might be paralyzing without the proper support: uncoupling, health issues, loss of any kind,…
The other is a 90-day VIP package that will provide exclusive Coaching for 3 months. It provides transformation somewhere you have felt stuck and unable to move forward, despite your best efforts (e.g., career goals or changing careers, love life, conscious uncoupling, finances, health, parenting, etc.)
Since I can only accommodate 1 person for the Life Crisis package and 3 people for the VIP package at any one time, if you are interested, please reach out right away. Once these four slots are filled, anyone else will be added to a waitlist.
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 4:17am Saturday early morning (Aug. 27th) and 11:08pm Sunday late evening (Aug. 28th) — in the New York time zone.
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (that’s the US East Coast time zone), feel free to join my Facebook Fan page orfollow me on Twitter. I will be posting reminders on Nov. 27th & 28th throughout the day to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

With her Readings, her coaching and her Soul-Based Astrology Courses she aims to empower and support people in fulfilling their life’s potential and aligning with Soul Purpose.
The next Full Moon will be “exact” on March 18th, at 3:18am EDT/7:18am GMT, in almost 28 degrees of Virgo — and by then, we are halfway through the Lunar cycle that started on March 2nd.
Take a look at the New Moon Intentions you set around March 2nd, and ask yourself: How far have I come with those Intentions? If I’m not where I’d like to be with them, what new course might bring me closer to my goals?
A Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; during these oppositions, we seek balance, alignment and integration around two perspectives that seem like polar opposites. Very often, we experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.
The balance we seek between Virgo and Pisces seems to be the fundamental challenge of our time: to integrate head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion. This Full Moon shows each of us how far we have come with integrating those two seemingly opposite archetypes within ourselves — and how far we have yet to go.
This particular Full Moon has a planetary line-up known as a Stellium; it’s in Pisces, includes Mercury (the ruler of Virgo), and it connects favorably to the current Moon Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio. Pluto in Capricorn also plays an important role in this Full Moon chart. We will also look at the Venus-Mars alignment in Aquarius, and how it connects to other planets in this Full Moon chart. More about all of this in a moment… But first let’s take a look at the polarity of this Full Moon in general:
The Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. Virgo seeks personal and practical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all of life.
Virgo benefits from apprenticeship, whereas Pisces learns to trust inner guidance above all else — when balanced, we are able to discern without judgment, serve without obligation, and love all of creation, including ourselves.
Virgo analyzes, Pisces feels: We are invited to discern what’s real, so we can make healthier choices. To find the balance between Virgo and Pisces, ask yourself…

Even if I could only do that as best as I can? What might a daily practice of self-forgiveness, acceptance, and learning to love myself do for me? What else might bring more inner peace?
All Full Moons bring awareness to a polarity and this illuminates the shadow sides of both signs. Please note that the Shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace, but it is an essential process in order to move into the lighter vibrations of any sign.
Virgo’s shadow side is “Judgement”; this creates separation from others and a split within ourselves, closing our heart and limiting our ability to learn. It keeps us stuck in duality, defending our position or attacking others. it’s what is showing up when we label things as “good or bad”, rather than seeing them in terms of “useful or unproductive”.
Drawing on the higher vibrations of Pisces helps us likewise connect with the higher vibration of Virgo…Pisces’s best qualities are compassion, intuitiveness, open-heartedness, inspirational creativity and imagination; at its best, Pisces understands that we are all souls in various states of development, doing the best we can.
The shadow side of Pisces is ambiguity, escapism, helplessness or victimization, and poor or missing boundaries. And just as the converse is true, the best qualities of Virgo can move us back into the higher vibration of Pisces — qualities like the ability to choose wisely and to objectively discern what works and what doesn’t.
When both sides are well-integrated, we possess acuity of mind, and this is united with the wisdom of our heart and the guidance of our intuition.
Ask yourself: What single step would I take right here and now, if I were setting out to employ 5% more self-compassion, unconditional love, and selfless service?
What if there were synergies between my emotional, intuitive understanding, and my rational, scientific understanding? Do I really have to choose between scientific facts & intuitive knowingness? What if I could have both?
For the next two weeks, Virgo asks us to become aware of the clutter that is distracting us from our priorities, and take a little more pride in “small” accomplishments, so ask yourself: What in my current daily life is nourishing? And what might be toxic? Where are things piling up? How can I make healthier choices? How could even small accomplishments make my life better and easier in the long-run?
Let’s talk about what’s important in this particular Full Moon chart:
Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is the first planet of a Stellium in Pisces, followed by Jupiter, Neptune and the Sun in Pisces. This Stellium (or line-up of planets) is asking us to go within and trust our own intuition and connection to Source above all else.
The combined energies of Jupiter and Neptune are highly transformative when channeled into spiritual practice, selfless service, healing, or the arts.
We will also talk in more detail about the Jupiter-Neptune alignment in Pisces — and how it all relates to your birth chart — in our upcoming Forum on March 19th at 11:30am EDT/3:30pm GMT/London-time! This alignment signifies a new spiritual growth cycle for all of us – collectively and individually speaking.
Star Members: You are automatically registered and will receive an email with a link to join live on March 19th — and you will also automatically receive a video-recording within 24 hours of the live event.
If you are reading this after March 19th, it’s too late to join live, however you can still access the mp4-video recording of the “Jupiter-Neptune alignment in Pisces” — webinar, here
We also mentioned the Pisces Stellium in my last New Moon video, so feel free to watch that again for more info, or read the New Moon in Pisces article.
The only planet that has changed from two weeks ago is Mercury which has since moved into Pisces as well.
Since Mercury is also the ruler of Virgo, this position is an important one! We are invited to get very clear about spiritual/intuitive experiences or creative endeavors. We are also invited to stay centered in our heart, and tune in and see if we need to take a break or at least slow down a little.
Our imagination is very important here as well. And in particular how we use it.
Ask yourself: What am I imagining? For myself? For others? For this planet? Am I coming from fear when I imagine things?
What might be possible creatively if I allowed myself to daydream just 5% more than I have in the past? What might a short nap do for my ability to process information and stay in the flow?
How might compassionate and soothing self-dialogue support my connection to Source? To Life? To other Souls?
This Stellium in Pisces also trines the South Node in Scorpio, making it easier for us to release old fears and protective behaviors that no longer serve us; it invites us to examine and redefine “old” traumas, or past disempowerments, individually and collectively.
It’s also much easier now to revise or adjust “old” or “toxic” ways of connecting with others — by tapping into the Pisces energies of forgiveness, acceptance, and compassion.
This could be in connection with our intimate or financial partners, or with other people’s resources in general, transformative processes (such as therapy or other forms of self-exploration), and our ability to trust others.
Ask yourself: What are my motivations when connecting with others? Do I have an agenda? Do I try to protect myself? Am I afraid of loosing something, being hurt, or being betrayed?
How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears in connection to past trauma or disempowerment? What has been in my awareness lately when it comes to such fears?
The Moon in Virgo trines the North Node in Taurus & Pluto in Capricorn; and opposes not just the Sun, but also Neptune & Jupiter in Pisces.
Trines always take place in the same element — in this case theEarth element: Virgo, Capricorn, and Taurus. This Moon placement trining Pluto and the North Node makes it easier to connect with the physical world, and our social responsibilities within that physical world, including the honoring of our own body and our planet.
An increased ability to discern “what’s what” can support us with making some important choices in our physical world that further our physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing long-term (in other words: wholeness). This in turn could increase our enjoyment and connection to the planet we live on and value.
Trines creates a “mutual support system” when it comes to manifesting something real that fits with our values and long-term goals. It provides not only a flow of practical approaches, but also a wonderful opportunity to create more abundance in our current earthly experience, along with an ability to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can stand the test of time — and of course, our attention to detail is enhanced at this time.
Ask yourself: How could paying 5% more attention to detail help me be more discerning about how I connect to my body? To the planet? What might open up if I implemented health routines or other systems that support my physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing?
What works for me in my daily routines? What doesn’t? How might a healthy sense of self-worth, a practice of self-responsibility, and a focus on sustainability help me implement daily routines that serve me and others long-term?
We are definitely invited to look at all the practical implications in connection to the choices we make on a daily basis — rushing things will most likely backfire right now.
Ask yourself: What fears and attachments could I now release that no longer serve my evolution? The planet’s evolution? Am I willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?
The Moon’s opposition to the Sun/Neptune/Jupiter alignment in Pisces is asking us to bring more awareness for our interconnectedness with others, to our daily routines, along with a healthy balance between head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion.
Ask yourself:Could I allow myself to release my fears and bless everyone I come into contact with? Could I lower my worry level 5% every day? Is it at least possible that this would strengthen my immunity — and therefore my physical and mental health? Is it at least possible that this would also enhance my vibrational energy body?
If you are experiencing moments of loneliness, helplessness, or separation, ask yourself this: If I temporarily set aside memory, and just for the moment stayed out of concepts and imaginary futures — just looking here and now in this moment, can I find the one that is truly alone? Can I find the one that is helpless? That is separate? (Check to see if you need to go into memory in order to find “the one that is truly alone” — and memory is everything that is not the current now-moment, so even just one second ago, is memory)
What if connecting to my heart and higher Self could protect me? What if that connection could empower me to create a future that I truly want to “live into”? One in which I thrive? One in which everyone around me does too?
Venus and Mars are now conjunct in Aquarius, squaring Uranus in Taurus, and sextiling Chiron in Aries:
The Venus-Mars conjunction signifies a personal and collective readiness for greater equality and collaboration, as well as increased drives for freedom, innovation, and reform.
We are more able to demonstrate our ability to collaborate with others and keep a vision or a dream for a better future alive in each of us.
Ask yourself: How might I, as an individual, shape the future of the collective experience? What collaborations might help bring about a better future for all? What actions (large or small) could I take to bring about this vision of an all-inclusive experience for all beings? What roles do “tolerance” and “diversity” play in all of this?
There are some things to watch out for too: being too detached and unfeeling about individual humans, and thus applying peer pressure or inflexible dogmatic visions that don’t honor those individuals, but instead ask them to sacrifice themselves for the greater vision or the group.
Ask yourself: Could I notice when my thoughts drift toward forms that create separation or seclusion? Can I make an effort to focus on things that support community, collaboration, and diversity?
The Square to Uranus Taurus invites us to stretch and grow in our individuation process. We might experience unexpected shifts in our lives in regards to romantic relationships, creative projects, courageous new avenues that we are exploring, etc. To bring this home, ask yourself these questions:
How uniquely “myself” do I allow myself to be within my various communities? Where do I stop myself from enjoying my unique gifts? Could I grant myself permission to value the fact that I am different from others and they are different from me?
What if I gave a voice to all my talents — even the “crazy” or “out there” ones? Where do I huddle down when I could perhaps stand tall? What needs to break down for me to have a breakthrough?
I should mention here that we might be dealing with some uncomfortable interactions with others, and with uncertainty on a personal level. Giving ourselves space (and giving lots of space to others) is essential.
Ask yourself: What do I value differently from others? How could these differences spark a creative process? How might they bring diversity and innovation to our collective interactions? Where do I need to be more flexible? What is the thinking box I need to think outside of?
The sextile to Chiron in Aries presents an opportunity to connect with others and engage in a healing process around our personal identities that could bring us progress. Ask yourself: What if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for a better future for all humankind?
To sum it all up for this Full Moon: If we can recognize that we are doing the best we can at any given time, and that on a spiritual level all “mistakes” are just “experiences”, we can learn about empathy — and our brain will re-pattern itself around compassion, rather than criticism.
Ask yourself: What if I stood in a place of allowing, curiosity, and creative spaciousness? Am I currently using my imagination to inspire or scare myself? Does my mind wander or gravitate towards worst-case or best-case scenarios?
What might I notice if I were 5% more mindful of my inner dialog? What if I brought 5% more compassion to myself? Even to my inner critic? And even to my fearful mind chatter?
The moment you feel ungrounded or overwhelmed, ask yourself: Could I slow down and notice my breathing? What might breathing deeply and mindfully bring to this moment?
This Full Moon reminds us that our mindfulness and open heart make a difference, not only in our own life, but in the world. Rather than pushing, over-thinking, or giving up, I invite you to conduct small, simple experiments, inside of faith in universal support.
In that spirit…
For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where is the balance point for intellect and intuition? Striving and surrender? What if far more is happening, both within each one of us and around the world, than meets the eye, ear, or news media?
What if the solutions were already available… just not widely distributed?
This Full Moon reminds us that peace comes from within, and can radiate from each one of us — we are what we choose to be in every “moment of now” — so choose wisely! Our future is birthed breath-by-breath, step-by-step, heart-by-heart.
