Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, March 24th

Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, realistic, and goal-oriented Capricorn until 11:25am EDT. We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious, which can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges, requiring structure and planning. When you add the pragmatism this Moon placement supports, you can see how this could be a productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes even more important to us.

As best as you can during this time, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying, “I am doing the best I can, and that’s all I can ever do.”

Monday at 11:01am EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that lasts 24 minutes until 11:25am EDT. Use this intuitive time to soften your need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Monday at 11:25am EDT, the Moon moves in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon (March 26th). The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement.

Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius.

Again, we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and this planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to look at our physical connection to our own body, finances, and whatever is most important to us on this planet.

It’s also a great time to innovate and change our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us or keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.

Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune into myself, what insights does my body provide?

Where have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?

Monday in the later afternoon, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 4.5 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 3:48pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday night (March 22nd) on; it will be strong until Wednesday early morning (March 26th).

This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks, as we are too busy thinking about what to say next.

Given that this alignment takes place in Aries, we may feel particularly impatient and impulsive, or even irritated. Do your best to avoid confrontation or overly passionate outbursts.

We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now is impactful, so choose your words wisely…

If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are passionate and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — so our egos may get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”.

As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion or need more time to process what they receive from you.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-8 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini, or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Solar Eclipse in Aries — the article

On March 29th at 6:58am EDT, a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse becomes exact in 9º of Aries, launching a new Moon and Eclipse cycle.

Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that occur approximately every six months. You may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video.

This New Moon is significant for two reasons:

It is the year’s first Solar Eclipse and follows March 14th’s Lunar Eclipse.

It is also the final event of an Aries-Libra Eclipse cycle that began with the Solar Eclipse on April 20th, 2023 and continued with the Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. We will have to wait 18 years for the next one; this cycle will start again in April 2043.

What have you discovered about your physical vitality and self-identity since 2023? Where in your life are you called to leave The Comfort Zone? Has this been a humbling experience so far?

The Sun is 400 times larger than the Moon, but during a Solar Eclipse, the Moon blocks the Sun’s light because it is 400 times closer to Earth. This interruption elevates our consciousness, marking the start of new experiences, projects, or cycles.

This Eclipse is a Partial Solar Eclipse! These happen when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth but only partially covers the Sun.

This Partial Eclipse will be visible in the northeastern parts of North America (mostly Maine and northeast Canada), North-West Africa, parts of Europe, and Russia.

No matter where you are on the planet, however, the effects of the Eclipse will be transformative. Solar Eclipses, in particular, often correspond to significant endings and beginnings.

They occur close to the same degree every 19 years, and the last time we had a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in almost the same degree (8.5) and sign was on March 29th, 2006.

We will likely experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonance,” not repetition — so think back to the Spring of 2006 and ask yourself: Were there any significant endings and beginnings? What was important to me back then? If I were to take those priorities to the next level, where would that next level find me?

For more guidance on those questions, it is best to take a look at our Natal Charts — the House placement of the Eclipse will indicate which area of life is the readiest to embrace a healthy sense of Self and rise to a new level of consciousness around independence and forging our path, gently and holistically.

Eclipses are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. We will experience a release and recalibration because old programs will get deleted and new ones downloaded.

And for this Eclipse, this is especially true in connection with our relationship to our human identity and sense of agency — how courageous we feel about starting something new or starting something over.

This begins with our role in our interactions with others, whether we can be honest and direct about our personal goals and passions and inspire others to follow our example.

Solar Eclipses are an excellent time to go within, seed anything we want to integrate into our personality, and improve our self-understanding. This will remain true for six months until the next Solar Eclipse (Sept. 21st, 2025).

We will dig into this in more detail towards the end of this article when we talk about setting Solar Eclipse Intentions. Setting Intentions for Solar Eclipses differs from a regular New Moon! So stay tuned!

Eclipses are crossroads or turning points along our Soul’s Journey. They often mark events or situations that signify a critical shift in our lives, nudging us to change and grow, or face more significant difficulties at the next turning point.

If there is anything we haven’t been able to change since the Spring of 2023 that we have been toying with, now is the time to do it.

The next turning point will be on June 30th — when the Sun in 9º of Cancer squares this month’s Solar Eclipse degree.

As we remain in Eclipse Season until April 21st, the coming weeks could offer some tailwinds that carry us to significant breakthroughs; we are invited to learn how to be conscious creators, mindful of how our thinking and choices affect our personal and collective experiences.

As best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

Stay grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 4 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to observe the urge — unless it is connected to something that happens organically — if you are ambivalent about taking an action, better hold off until Eclipse Season ends on April 21st.

A couple of things to note for this Solar Eclipse chart:

* The Sun and Moon align with a Retrograde Mercury in an exalted degree
* Mercury aligns with Neptune (both in exalted degrees)
* Neptune moves into 0 degrees of Aries only 25 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact
* Mars, the ruler of Aries, is in Cancer, making a Square to Chiron in Aries and making several Trines to planets in Pisces (including Saturn, the North Node, Venus, and Neptune)
* Moon in Aries makes a “mutual reception” to Mars in Cancer

Before we go any further, let’s first talk about the sign of Aries:

This Solar Eclipse in pioneering, fast-paced Aries focuses more on our independence and dynamism  — you could say that we seek…

Since Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 4º orb instead of 2º — and since this Solar Eclipse takes place in 9º of Aries:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-13 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 6-month Eclipse cycle rather than just the next 28 days.

Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. This is because we are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are pretty intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions — that said, it’s best to avoid setting them during a Moon void of course.

Given all this, here are the best and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse: Between 6:58am on Monday, March 31st, and 1:42pm on Tuesday April 1st. Then again, from 4:26pm on April 1st until 6:58am on Wednesday, April 2nd. Note that all times above are given in US Eastern Time — i.e., the New York time zone.

Set powerful intentions — remember, they cover the next six months — and if possible, align them with the Aries energy!

If you live in a timezone other than EDT and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook page and/or following me on Instagram, X (Twitter) or Thread, as I post reminders on those platforms when it’s time to set your intentions.

We will cover the third and last of the Mars-Pluto oppositions in the Trilogy, as well as Mercury & Venus ending their various Retrograde phases moving forward again! ==> You can join us live or register to get the mp4-video presentation.

March 17th – 23rd

See the Perfection of “Right Now”

This week’s headline items: Mercury remains exalted until Friday; the Sun aligns with the North Node in Pisces on Monday afternoon; early on Thursday morning, the Sun changes signs from Pisces to Aries — in the Northern hemisphere, this marks the Spring Equinox — and Thursday is International Astrology Day! On Friday, Mercury’s station ends (the planet stays in retrograde). The last quarter moon in Capricorn will be exact on Saturday morning.

Daylight Savings Time has begun in the United States & Canada. I will post all astrological alignments and planetary movements in EDT (US-Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Until March 30th, please consider this additional one-hour time difference when converting to your time zone.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday until 3:30am EDT, Wednesday afternoon (for 49 minutes), and Saturday very early morning (for 36 minutes).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, March 17th

Monday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra and VoC until 3:30am EDT.

Monday at 3:30am EDT, the Moon moves into deeply passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon (March 19th). Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us now; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as 100% dishonest.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. It does so through subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us.

This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

The Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”, etc. It can, therefore, be stormy — a cold winter storm or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies.

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others.

Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free.

Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact later today).

Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio — and it is currently transiting through Aquarius, making this a great time to transform our visions for humanity and our future on this planet, in this universe — and to empower ourselves and others within our communities (locally or online).

It’s also a great time to dig deeper into our various networks and connections to like-minded people, so, as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations.

Does participation in your current groups or networks feel empowering or disempowering? Do I feel a deep emotional alignment with like-minded people in my life? Am I allowing myself to hear the deepest calling of my Soul?

Ask yourself: Where am I looking to create more empowerment in my life? What about the lives of others? How might a self-expressed and courageously heartfelt approach serve my communities and foster better collaborations?

Use this time to create deeper, more empowering emotional connections with like-minded people, especially if you are feeling a disconnect with other networks or affiliations out there in the world.

Remember: Love expands us, others, and life. Fear paralyzes!

Monday from 6:10am – 2:10pm EDT, we are invited to stretch when it comes to feeling empowered within our social networks, political affiliations, and with like-minded people.

As much as possible, view any disempowering moments in your social interactions or the world around you as opportunities to make a difference and bring about the change you wish to see.

This is best accomplished by examining our own trauma patterns and releasing any habits we have developed to shield ourselves from past pain. Our individual pain and trauma are connected to the collective pain experienced by society.

Once we can let go of these patterns, we will better understand that collective futures are created one person at a time. (Moon in Scorpio squares Pluto in Aquarius, exact at 10:11am EDT)

Monday around 2pm EDT, the Sun aligns with the North Node in 27.5º of Pisces. We have felt this alignment since last Friday (March 14th), and it will feel quite strong until this Thursday evening (March 20th). It calls on us to examine our Soul’s current direction.

The North Node symbolizes uncharted territory where we must grow, even when the path isn’t clear and the effort seems daunting. However, this journey will be rewarding and ultimately fulfilling.

This alignment with the North Node in Pisces encourages us to pay special attention to our connection with the divine, as well as our intuitive understanding and relationship with the Universe. As a result, we may find ourselves wanting more rest and “introvert time” than usual.

It also invites us to open our hearts and dissolve anything separating us from that heart connection. Ask yourself: What road might lead to deeper heart connections? Is there anyone (or anything) that I am ready to forgive? Where might I need to forgive myself?

What are the consequences of mentally dissecting and over-analyzing everything? Could I look beyond the mind and tap into the larger energy field around me?

The more present we can be with ourselves, others, and our energy body, the more peaceful and calm we will feel. Ask yourself: Could I make time for silence, surrender, and self-reflection? Even if it seems impossible? Even if it’s just for a few minutes every day?

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun sign in Leo? If so, you may feel a greater influence from this alignment.

For those with a Pisces Sun sign or Rising sign, while the Sun and the North Node are in your sign, you might experience a strong urge to connect with your heart and look inward. This will allow you to receive higher guidance from the universe, source, or your higher Self. In fact, this period is about setting a positive example for others.

Monday from 1:25pm – 5:25pm EDT, we experience a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges…

On the one hand, the desire to feel deeply connected to others — and on the other hand, the need to value our independence. (Moon in Scorpio quincunxes Venus in Aries, exact at 3:25pm EDT)

Monday from 7:55pm – 11:55pm EDT, we are again invited to make some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges…

On the one hand, the desire to talk about our individual goals and passions — and on the other, the need to merge with another and feel deeply and intimately connected to them (Moon in Scorpio quincunxes Mercury in Aries, exact at 9:54pm EDT)

This week’s headline items: Venus remains exalted all week; Mars remains exalted until Saturday; Mercury starts to slow down (station) on Monday and intensifies its station at 9 degrees of Aries on Wednesday.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, March 10th

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day; it will journey there until Wednesday very early morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.

We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness… So, hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, and tell them how much you love them.

Come from the heart in this and all other things. Be honest and authentic as best you can. Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

Monday from 6am – 4:20pm EDT, we feel excited about life; if you are awake, things flow nicely, so connect with people that bring you joy. Since connecting with others from the heart and having fun feels easy, we might want to take advantage of that enthusiasm.

Venus is currently in retrograde, so it’s best to connect with people you already know. (Moon in Leo trines Mercury and Venus in Ariesexact at 9:56am & 12:21pm EDT)

Monday from 4:45pm – 10:45pm EDT, we have the opportunity to connect to others and start a new adventure or simply do something creative that gets us excited.

It is also an opportunity to see the bigger picture if we choose to, or perhaps shift our perspective by talking it through with someone else (Moon in Leo sextiles Jupiter in Gemini, exact at 7:46pm EDT).

Also on Monday, Mercury starts to slow down (station) at 8-9.5º of Aries preparing to come to a halt on March 15th at 9.5º of Aries (when it will begin its first full Retrograde phase of the year). More on that later this week…

This station will last until March 21st, and we will feel Mercury’s energies more intensely during this time.

Pay attention to anything “in your face” in the following areas: short travels, adventures, personal goals, transportation, communication, and any associated technologies. You will get a chance to re-organize yourself once Mercury goes retrograde (after March 15th).

For the next 11 days, we need to be patient with ourselves and others. Going with the flow is recommended at this time. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, particularly if it contains new information connected to learning or exploring something new.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready or travel somewhere — especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here).

Be extra patient if you intend to buy, sell, or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected to planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after April 25th, when the post-Shadow phase is over.

If you are familiar with your natal chart — take a look at your natal Mercury and where 9.5º of Aries lands in your chart to see how this might play out for you. If you prefer that I take a look at this for you, feel free to book a 25-minute Soul Purpose Reading.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) or personal planets in 7-11 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn.

A gentle reminder: The Early Bird Special for this week’s Forecasting Forum ends tonight at 11:59pm EDT! Take advantage now and join us live as we talk about Neptune’s brand-new journey through Aries. A sign that Neptune last entered 163 years ago!

Powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Virgo — the article

On March 14th, at 2:55am EDT/6:55am GMT, the Moon in 24 degrees of Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces.

The entrance of the Moon into Virgo on March 12th starts the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon — if you are an active Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject

Before we get started: I wanted to invite all of you to join me for a FREE EVENT on Friday, March 14th at 12pm EDT/4pm GMT — the day of the Lunar Eclipse. It’s called The Star Hour with Astrologer Coach Sonja Francis” on Soulivity.com

==> RSVP here to save the date to your calendar and join us live. It’s a Q&A session: Everything you always wanted to know about Astrology and were afraid to ask…

This Full Moon is also a Total Lunar Eclipse; more about this below. Eclipses are extra powerful New and Full Moons, signaling significant endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same place in the zodiac every 19 years.

There are two Eclipse Seasons per year. They give us the opportunity to upgrade our energy, emotional, and mental bodies, together with our physical experience.

In 2025, we will encounter four Eclipses (two in March and two in September). These will be similar in sign and degree to the Eclipses in March and September of 2006.

This Eclipse Season started on Feb. 27th (at the time of the last New Moon) and lasts until April 21st (past the next Full Moon in Libra).

During this time, it’s important to stay grounded and flexible. Avoid rushing into decisions until April 21st.

If you feel a strong urge to take action, do your best to observe that urge unless it’s connected to something that arises naturally. If you are unsure about a potential action, waiting until Eclipse Season is over is best.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow; this stimulates our emotional body and increases our awareness of unconscious patterns and thought forms.

As noted above, this Full Moon is a Total Lunar Eclipsethese occur when the Moon moves entirely into the central, darkest part of the Earth’s shadow (also known as the “umbra”). During totality, the Moon can appear reddish-orange, earning these eclipses the ancient name of “Blood Moon“.

The Blood Moon may find us more easily triggered as buried emotions and/or fears surface. Please be alert for when you may be projecting psychologically and jumping to conclusions.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so it may help to remember that Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

The entire Eclipse will be visible — and at its best — across most of the Americas (North and South), with glimpses for Europe, Africa, and East Asia. Totality lasts about an hour, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for the next four weeks, until April 14th.

This Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within two weeks; it offers an opportunity for a more balanced connection between the head and the heart.

A Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries will follow on March 29th — the last one of its kind until 2042! I will be recording a video about this around March 21st/22nd — so watch out for that.

==> You can join my next Forecasting Forum to ask questions about the Eclipses. Live on Wednesday, March 12th at 6:30pm EDT/10:30pm GMT. The Early Bird Special ends on March 10th at midnight EDT.

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved.

This Total Eclipse takes place with the Moon in detail-oriented, practical, analytical Virgo  and the Sun in creative, free-flowing, sensitive Pisces.

Eclipses are usually powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collective and individual). The Moon Nodes started their journey through Pisces-Virgo on Jan. 11th, 2025, and they will remain there until July 26th, 2026!

Feel free to get & watch my webinar, “Our Soul’s Journey: Unveiling the Significance of the Moon Nodes in Pisces-Virgo”, here

You can also read my article on the Moon Nodes here

This Full Moon is the second Lunar Eclipse in the Pisces-Virgo polarity and marks the culmination of progress made since last September.

On March 14th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the last Eclipse Season that began in September of 2024? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

This Eclipse also constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, which emphasizes the balance between making more of an effort to trust our connection to the divine and our intuition, and our ability to discern what works and doesn’t work for us when it comes to our day-to-day well-being.

This powerful Full Moon also calls us to release or redefine our conditioned minds, our judgments of ourselves and others, and anything disconnected from our hearts.

We are encouraged to become more aware of our biases, approach anything we do not know or understand with compassion, and bring acceptance and unconditional love to our interactions with others.

With a new Eclipse cycle, this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until February 2027.

Full Moons illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices. We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a South Node Eclipse, we need to bring greater awareness to the Virgo energy.

We might want to ask ourselves: What has become toxic, unhealthy, or unmanageable in connection with my rational/scientific mind?

Here are the astrological highlights of this Lunar Eclipse chart:

  • The Sun aligns with Saturn, the North Node, and Neptune in Pisces
  • The Moon aligns with the South Node in Virgo and opposes Saturn, the North Node, and Neptune in Pisces, and trines Uranus in Taurus
  • The Sun/Saturn alignment trines an exalted Mars in Cancer and sextiles Uranus in Taurus
  • Mercury (the ruler of Virgo and the Lunar Eclipse) is highly exalted in Aries at the time of the Eclipse, coming to a halt only 24 hours after the Eclipse, starting its 3-week Retrograde phase
  • Mercury also aligns with an exalted Retrograde Venus in Aries and sextiles Jupiter in Gemini
  • Neptune (the ruler of Pisces) remains in an exalted degree until March 30th

I will talk about all of these in more detail, but first, let’s take a closer look at the polarities involved here:

The Moon in Virgo advises us to…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel called to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I tend to use a 4º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 24 degrees of Virgo-Pisces:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-28 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Meaningful Collaboration

This week’s headline items: Venus and Mars remain exalted all week; Mercury changes signs from Pisces to Aries early Monday; Neptune reaches 29 degrees of Pisces on Monday evening; the first Quarter Moon in Gemini will become exact late Thursday morning.

AND…On Sunday, March 9th at 2am,  Daylight Savings Time begins in the United States & Canada. Given this, from Sunday on, I will be posting all astrological alignments and planetary movements in EDT (US-Eastern Daylight Savings Time).

Please adjust accordingly for your location!

In particular, if you live in the UK, Europe, or Australia/New Zealand, please consider this additional one-hour time difference when converting to your time zone. For example, for the UK, it will be 4 hours ahead instead of the usual 5 — until March 30th.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday until 5:37am EST, Wednesday early morning (for a little over 1.5 hours), Friday late morning (for 1.5 hours), and Sunday early evening (for almost 1.5 hours),

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, March 3rd

Monday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 5:37am EST. Until then, life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and have great enthusiasm for new projects.

Monday at 4:04am EST, Mercury changes signs from creative, sensitive Pisces to pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey for an unusually long time (due to its upcoming retrograde), until March 29th and then again from April 16th until May 10th.

During this time, our thinking speeds up, and we are eager for new endeavors. Given that we want to achieve our goals as quickly as possible, we may come off impulsive and impatient and must therefore speak (and get answers) faster.

Nothing stands in our way now: we are ready, we are brave, we want what we want, and we want it now!

As you can perhaps imagine, we need to watch out for blurting things out prematurely or inappropriately; as best you can, choose your words carefully and pause before responding.

Remember, everyone else is feeling the Aries energy quite strongly too, so do your best to not take it personally if someone ignores what you want, or says something insensitive.

Keep the focus on yourself instead — and take responsibility for how you are communicating or expressing yourself.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries? If so, you will feel especially chatty for the next 2 weeks. Your mental energy will be quite active and you feel the need to connect to others — whether it be in person, via email, over the phone, or via social media. New ideas and new connections are very likely.

Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a tremendous energy burst for the next 9.5 weeks: really enthusiastic and physically strong.

Monday at 5:37am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words, change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.

Monday at 6:55pm EST, Neptune reaches 29 degrees of Pisces, an exalted degree. Neptune made its first pass through Pisces between April and August 2011, and then after a brief retrograde, it returned to Pisces in February 2012, where it has remained ever since!

It’s now or never! We are strongly encouraged to let go of anything that hinders our intuitive connection with our Higher Self, and embrace a compassionate, heart-centered perspective on life that honors the interconnectivity of all things.

As Neptune moves through the last degree of Pisces (until March 30th), our understanding of interconnectedness will deepen even further.

The planet was in that final degree from May 3rd – Sept. 2nd, 2024; an exalted degree in its own sign. Very powerful indeed — the veil from this world to the next will become thinner, and our collective spiritual and emotional sides will need to evolve.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, February 24th

Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, realistic, and goal-oriented Capricorn all day; it will journey there until Monday night/Tuesday very early morning.

Monday at 9am EST, the Balsamic Moon phase begins, when the Moon reaches 21 degrees of Capricorn. This Moon phase lasts until Thursday evening (Feb. 27th) when the New Moon in Pisces becomes exact (more about this later this week… In the meantime, feel free to watch my New Moon video, here).

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet to listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. Stay grounded, take a deep breath, and exhale any tension as best as you can.

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Monday at 10:28pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 2 hours, until 12:40am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to soften your need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

As best as you can, take some breaks and allow the energy flow to show you the way.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening/night ahead of time
