Jupiter in Cancer until June 2026

On June 9th, 2025, at 5:02pm EDT, Jupiter changes signs from versatile, fast-thinking Gemini to nurturing, family-oriented CancerIt journeys through this protective, vulnerable Water sign until June 29th, 2026.

Jupiter takes about a year to move through each of the twelve zodiac signs; given this, it returns to a sign approximately every twelve years. **More about dates later…

In our natal chart, Jupiter’s position reveals how we express generosity and tolerance, trust others, and improve our lives. Jupiter is about expansion, possibilities, perspectives, and mental and spiritual growth.

Ask yourself: Where do I look for wisdom and understanding? Where do I need movement and spaciousness? Where do I hold perspectives or beliefs that come from my social conditioning? How do I interpret and navigate life? Where do I feel optimistic and believe things will turn out ok? What mantra gets me through tough spots?

Jupiter represents the principle of expansion; it operates like a magnifying glass. During its time in Gemini (May 2024 – June 2025), the magnifying glass highlighted more opportunities to listen, learn, teach, or write — and to get excited about sharing and staying connected with others.

We might also have wanted to contribute to life through interesting communication and sharing information. This could have shifted our attitude towards our mental realm, including our mind, thinking, and inner dialogue.

ConverselyJupiter in Cancer brings the magnifying lens to bear on emotional safety, home, and family. The opportunity now is to bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to creating a home that feels expansive and comfort-inducing.

This one-year transit also supports our self-care and helps us encourage our loved ones’ self-care. It helps us have faith in our ability to expand familiar connections. Again, Jupiter will be in Cancer until June 29th, 2026. During this time, we invite good fortune by…

All this is especially true if you are a Sagittarius or have a Cancer Sun or Rising sign. As a Sagittarius, you will feel a greater need to connect to loved ones and feel at home, wherever you are.

As a Cancer, you are likely to feel a heightened sense of possibility and a strong need to grow and expand your emotional connections with others. This growth will guide how much you connect to what’s important for you between now and June 2026.

Where does Jupiter-in-Cancer fall in your birth chart? What aspects does it make during this transit? How does a wise response to one house support a more fruitful response to the next?

What outward opportunities arise as Jupiter interacts with any of your personal planets? Where might you experience a major expansion between now and June 2026? Where are you ready to experience more curiosity, adaptability, and exchange of information with others?

If you’d like more insight into those questions, I invite you to check out my webinar on the subject: “Optimism & Generosity with Loved Ones — An Exploration of Jupiter in Cancer— we applied Jupiter’s movement to our own birth charts! (available after June 14th, 2025)

June 9th – 15th

Transcend Self-Imposed Limitations

This week’s headline items: Jupiter moves into Cancer early Monday evening; Jupiter will be in an exalted degree until Saturday; a Full Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact early Wednesday; Neptune starts to slow down (station) on Friday, preparing for its yearly Retrograde phase. The week ends with some powerful Squares: one between Mars & Uranus, and another between Jupiter & Saturn — both are exact on Sunday, but can be felt all week and most of next week, too.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday morning (for almost 3 hours), Wednesday late afternoon  (for 6 hours), and Saturday early morning (for a little over 2 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 9th

Monday, is a huge day (astrologically speaking)! The Moon remains in deeply passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 10:56am EDT. Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us now; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as 100% dishonest.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. It does so through subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us.

This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Monday morning, a challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 6:48am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening (June 7th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (June 10th).

This aspect encourages us to stretch, grow, and mature. It’s important to be mindful of misunderstandings and rigid thinking, both in our interactions with others and in our inner dialogue. During this period, we may feel somewhat somber or serious.

On one hand, Mercury in Cancer encourages us to be attuned to our surroundings and to listen more sensitively when receiving information. We might find it challenging to maintain objectivity, as our emotions are likely to influence our interactions. We tend to gravitate toward what feels familiar or reflects our past experiences.

On the other hand, Saturn in Aries reminds us that to pursue new endeavors, we need to ensure that our actions align with our personal goals. This may require us to eliminate anything that distracts us from our passions. Achieving this alignment will require us to slow down and focus on ourselves.

Ask yourself: Am I truly interested in building long-term connections with others? What is the worst that could happen if I chose “quick” over “quality”?

Am I truly focused on myself? Or is my mind getting lost in emotional content (or the past?)

Find creative ways to connect and share with others from a vulnerable place, while staying committed to pursuing your passion goals in a mature, self-responsible, and determined manner.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-1 degree of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or 28-29 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn).

Monday at 8:06am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 3 hours, until 10:56am EDT. Use this intuitive time to examine your relationship to money, power, and resources (personal and shared).

Ask yourself: How can I balance my need for a deeper, more empowered experience with others against my wish to honor my values and desire for freedom?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday at 10:56am EDT, the Moon will move into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening (June 11th). We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — and we’re also physically restless and must burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than issue or obey orders.

Inspiring others could come easier than usual, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page.

Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact on Wednesday very early morning). Feel free to watch my Full Moon video or read my article on the subject here (if you haven’t seen or read it yet).

Monday early afternoon, a challenging Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:20pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening (June 7th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday morning (June 11th). The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow.

Venus represents our relationships (including the one with ourselves) and that which we most value; these areas may undergo major transformations.

This aspect could also challenge us to find meaning in our lives through partnerships. We must now uncover the deeper layer of our life. With Pluto in the mix, social interactions could be intense.

You may see changes in financial status or relationships. In the latter, things erupt that have been brewing beneath the surface for some time; this may prove disruptive: as best you can, empower rather than disempower.

We may become obsessed with our social networks or affiliations or our finances during this time.

We may also experience Pluto through our partner or social interactions in the form of manipulation or controlling behaviors; we must be especially wary of resisting change and holding onto negative attachments.

It’s time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. How can you grow and evolve in your relationships? Is there a relationship that you need to grow and evolve out of? This could also include your relationship to money or social affiliations.

This aspect could also express itself through sexual tension; there is a strong desire for love in its physical expression. However, keep your standards high so you can come upon a love that fulfills all your needs — don’t start a relationship with “just anyone”, in order to avoid being alone.

Remember to be true to your own values; wait for someone with whom you can have a relationship based on trust, love, and a genuine desire for intimacy — and work on being worth finding in the meantime …

As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Remember: “fear” is resistance to life, “love” is acceptance and openness towards life.

Stay flexible and open-minded, nurture yourself, and make sure you have everything you need to come from a place of inner strength & empowerment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-7 degrees of TaurusAquarius, Scorpio, or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Monday at 5:02pm EDT, Jupiter changes signs from versatile, fast-thinking Gemini to nurturing, family-oriented CancerIt journeys through this protective, vulnerable Water sign until June 29th, 2026.

Jupiter takes about 12 years to move through the twelve signs of the Zodiac, spending roughly a year in each sign. Fittingly, the giant planet represents the principle of expansion; you could say it operates like a magnifying glass.

Jupiter in Cancer brings this magnifying lens to bear on emotional safety, home, and family. We can leverage Jupiter’s enthusiasm to create a home that feels both expansive and comfortable.

This one-year transit also fosters improved self-care and steadily brings that energy to the people we love. It also supports our belief that we can “expand” familiar connections.

With Jupiter in Cancer until June 29th, 2026, we attract good fortune when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable with others and put them at ease by nurturing them and ourselves — and also when we engage with the familiar,

There is much support here for furthering our journey toward emotional health; the key is to adopt a new perspective on what lies behind us, especially those messages we adopted uncritically as children (for example, notions about “safe” and “dangerous” that we absorbed from caregivers and society).

We value what feels emotionally familiar and safe. We can grow and succeed by making our home our haven and connecting with those who feel like family.

If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to read the whole article here to get all of the Coaching questions as well.

All this is especially true if you are a Sagittarius or Cancer Sun- or Rising-sign. As a Sagittarius, you will feel a greater need to connect to loved ones and feel at home wherever you are.

As a Cancer, you are likely to feel a heightened sense of possibility, along with a strong need to grow and expand your emotional connections with others. This growth will guide how much you connect to what’s important for you between now and June 2026.

Where does Jupiter-in-Cancer fall in your own birth chart? What aspects does it make during this transit? How does a wise response to one house support a more fruitful response to the next?

What outward opportunities arise as Jupiter interacts with any of your personal planets? Where might you experience a major expansion between now and June 2026? Where are you ready to experience more fulfilling connections and a sense of emotional safety with others?

If you’d like more insight into those questions, I invite you to register for this week’s Forecasting Forum here to get a closer look at how Jupiter in Cancer will impact you personally. The webinar is titled: “Optimism & Generosity with Loved Ones — An Exploration of Jupiter in Cancer“.

Monday eveninga challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 6:54pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening (June 7th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday morning (June 11th).

This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow. We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.

We are also more imaginative now and easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence, but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical. What might a creative or intuitive approach look like right now?

Please know that it can be hard to follow routines. Likewise, concentrating on monotonous tasks and work or studies involving attention to detail or rote learning may also be challenging. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 3.5 days.

Ask yourself: What do I feel and perceive when I go beyond all stories, all assumptions, and all meaning?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-5 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or 29 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Full Moon in Sagittarius – the article

On June 11th, at 3:44am EDT, the Full Moon in 20.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We start to feel the Full Moon build when the Moon enters Sagittarius late Monday morning (June 9th).

For the next two weeks, we seek a balance as we become more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).

If you are a Member of my online community and would like to learn more, please click here to watch my Full Moon video

Before we dive in, I invite you to join me on Saturday, June 14th, for my next Forecasting Forum — we will cover Jupiter’s journey through Cancer! Every 12 years Jupiter finishes its journey around the Sun.

Discover valuable insights and tools to understand your family and emotional sense of home. Join our Forum to receive personalized guidance about Jupiter’s journey through Cancer this time around!

==>  Reading this on or after June 14th? —  get my webinar: “Optimism & Generosity with Loved Ones — An Exploration of Jupiter in Cancer” here

Here’s a quick overview of what I’ll discuss in this article:

  • The Full Moon polarity (Sagittarius-Gemini) squares the Moon Nodes polarity (Pisces-Virgo), creating a dynamic Grand Cross, making this Full Moon a powerful turning point on our journey towards a greater mind-heart integration
  • The Moon in Sagittarius is also part of a supportive Grand Fire Trine, involving Mars in Leo and Chiron in Aries — bringing optimism, and enthusiasm to our healing journey, creative projects, and explorations beyond our current thinking
  • Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, moves into Cancer only 35 hours before the Full Moon becomes exact, starting a new 12-month journey through this sensitive, nurturing Water sign.
  • Jupiter at 0º Cancer (an exalted degree)! aligns with Mercury, the planet of communication, also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini) — and they both square the Saturn-Neptune alignment in Aries — definitely a turning point of some kind, as well as a new beginning
  • Jupiter is also in a Mutual Reception with the Moon — they are in each other’s sign & support each other’s agenda.
  • Mercury makes a Sextile to Venus in Taurus, which makes it easier to have social interactions
  • Venus squares Pluto in Aquarius — this is an “all or nothing” energy, fear, or obsessiveness around finances or relationships are possible here
  • And lastly, Uranus in Taurus squares Mars in Leo — feels restless, and we are willing to fight for having more freedoms

More about the specifics in a moment, but bear in mind: Full Moons are always times of heightened awareness and culmination. We see things we have not been aware of before and get to make changes if we don’t like what we see.

Think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 26th: What seeds were planted then? What has “sprouted” since? What are you aware of now that was not apparent before?

Before we talk about all of the aspects of this Full Moon, let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:

Gemini deals with information exchange, observation, and objectivity, while Sagittarius deals with what lies beyond thinking — indeed, beyond information — this includes things like interpretation and ethics.

In other words, what do we think, believe, and “really know”? We are invited to become more aware of the difference between facts vs. beliefs, truth vs. fabrication, and meaningful activity vs. diversions.

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us…

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, June 2nd

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day; it will journey there until Wednesday morning, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday from 3:55am – 7:55am EDT, we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some more inner adjustments.

We are encouraged to release our fears and embrace genuine emotional connections with society or a humanitarian cause dedicated to a more empowered future for everyone. At the same time, we feel the need to make important decisions about our daily health and work routines.

Where could we use more clarity? Where do we need to take a closer look in our lives? (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Pluto in Aquarius, exact at 5:55am EDT)

Monday at 11:41pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in almost 13º of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Virgo (on Sunday late evening).

The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful, and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking, and busy Gemini.

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon on May 26th; “seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making first real contact with the outside world.

This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum.

We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Virgo, Gemini, Pisces, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, May 26th

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful, comfort-loving Taurus until 1:21pm EDT; we love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and stick with what works well.

In other words, change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.

Monday at 9:52am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 3.5 hours, until 1:21pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with people with similar values who can provide practical support for your visions and share what is important to you — in particular, what you envision for the future around money and finances.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning until the afternoon ahead of time.

Monday at 1:21pm EDT,  the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. For the next two days, we seek to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably while multitasking. The one thing we want to avoid is boredom: If our mind is not engaged, we might as well curl up and play dead.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards today’s New Moon (exact in the late evening). Feel free to watch my video on the subject here (if you haven’t seen it yet).

Monday late afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 4:37pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday evening (May 25th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (May 27th). This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process.

Faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will serve us well at this time. Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do well at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and ability to get things done.

Find inspiration and inspire others! Whether it’s a book, a song, a movie, someone else’s words, or your own, let the Universe speak to you or through you.

Open your mind to a higher vibration — and remember, opportunities are openings… they aren’t necessarily handed to us… we have to “take” them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-4 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday at 11:09pm EDT, the New Moon in 6 degrees of Gemini becomes exact. I recommend you also watch my New Moon video on the subject.

One notable facet of this New Moon chart is the planetary line-up in Gemini, involving the Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter!

With this much emphasis on Gemini, we are invited to pay attention to our minds, communications, and any information coming our way.

Gemini is the archetype of curiosity, communication in all its forms, and mental connections — it represents the development of language and intelligence, as well as our ability to adapt and relate to our immediate environment.

This is a “busy” energy focused on collecting information. It invites us to… To read some or the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this eventful New Moon, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-8 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle; this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact, and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So, this month, any time between 11:02pm on May 26th and 9am on May 28th. Then there will be a 4.5-hour period on May 28th, during which the Moon will be void of course, from 9am until 1:32pm. It is best to avoid setting your Intention during that time.

And from 1:32pm until 11:02pm on May 28th, still a great time to set your Intentions during the most potent time. (and please note that I provide all times in the Eastern Daylight Time zone, i.e., New York City).

Back to the New Moon:

One notable facet of this New Moon chart is the planetary line-up in Gemini, involving the Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter!

With this much emphasis on Gemini, we are invited to pay attention to our minds, communications, and any information coming our way.

Gemini is the archetype of curiosity, communication in all its forms, and mental connections — it represents the development of language and intelligence, as well as our ability to adapt and relate to our immediate environment.

This is a “busy” energy focused on collecting information. It invites us to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind to see what new thought structures we might want to engage with.

Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) is closely aligned with the New Moon while in its own sign. The New Moon and Mercury in Gemini also trine Pluto in AquariusLet’s unpack that:

Mercury’s close alignment to the New Moon invites us to learn to better listen to ourselves and others, become more aware of our communications and exchanges, and see both sides of a situation.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to leave room for discussion when sharing my thoughts? If there were a handsome cash prize for listening twice as much as I speak, what would I do differently to win it? What if there were a bonus for listening with 5% more curiosity?

Our day-to-day mind (Mercury in Gemini) wants us to engage via email, text, phone, the internet, the news, chatting, connecting, and staying informed.

The New Moon and Mercury’s Trine to Pluto, conversely, helps us be…

Then there will be a 4.5 hour period on May 28th, during which the Moon will be void of course, from 9am until 1:33pm. It is best to avoid setting your Intention during that time.

And from 1:33pm until 11:02pm on May 28th, still a great time to set your Intentions during the most potent time. (and please note that I provide all times in the Eastern Daylight Timezone, i.e., New York City) ==> For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page, follow me on Instagram, threads, or twitter/X, as I post reminders on May 26th, May 27th and May 28th to let you know when it is time to set your intentions.

Again, we also mentioned the close Saturn-Neptune alignment in our most recent webinar about “Saturn in Aries until 2028 — a great 90-minute exploration of this giant planet, and how all of us (but especially CapricornAquarius, and Aries) will be affected by this transit ==> For more info, click here

Saturn in Aries until 2028

On May 24th at 11:35pm EDT, Saturn changes signs from creative, intuitive, and sensitive Pisces to fast-paced, enthusiastic, and active Aries. This changes our focus for the next 2.5 years!

Saturn will journey there until Sept. 1st, 2025, then it will make a second pass through Aries from Feb. 14th, 2026 — April 12th, 2028. What will need your focus and commitment until April 2028? How can you become a more responsible human being?

Saturn in Aries heralds a radical new beginning. We are called to venture into uncharted territory that demands bravery and unwavering consistency.

This transit encourages us to seek practical applications of our passions. It may also reveal that establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries and upholding integrity can enhance our maturity and trustworthiness.

Saturn in Aries also reminds us that before we can manifest our personal goals, we must examine our relationship to our human identity. We need to develop maturity, responsibility, and expertise.

It urges us to take responsibility for…

If you want to know how Saturn’s journey through Aries will impact you personally over the next 2-3 years, feel free to get access to my webinar on this subject here. We took a look at how this transit impacts our birth charts.

All this is especially true if you are a Capricorn or Aries Sun- or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel the need to focus on building something new and your human identity.

As an Aries, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious, and mature, in the next 2-3 years.
