February 5th – 11th

An Offbeat, Pleasant Attitude

This week’s headline items: Uranus remains exalted until Friday; the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Tuesday late morning; the New Moon in Aquarius becomes exact on Friday evening; also on Friday, Uranus ends its station phase and resumes direct motion; the Chinese New Year begins on Saturday — and we can set our New Moon Intentions between Saturday late morning and Sunday early evening.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for 7 hours), Thursday very early morning (for 6 hours), and Friday early evening (for almost 15 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, I want to mention one more time…

There are some Membership changes that went into effect on Jan. 24th with some new Membership features and some minor price changes ==> You can watch a brief video about those changes here

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, February 5th:

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking)! The Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day; it will journey there until Tuesday morning.

We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page. Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday morning, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 6:49am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Feb. 2nd) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Feb. 7th). This aspect asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth, and finances.

If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.

We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are asked to do some healing work.

As best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It’s ok.

If you get triggered by someone, as best as you can, take it as an opportunity to see where this trigger originated — probably in your childhood.

Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced; it wants to move through us and out.

The more we resist or suppress our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place. As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might change if you had 5% more compassion with yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Also on Monday morning, an opportune Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:27am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday morning (Feb. 3rd) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday morning (Feb. 7th). This aspect is an opportunity for self-healing that could support our vision for the future and bring us into better alignment with our physical and emotional bodies.

We all have flaws, wounds, and insecurities. The more we can open up to that being ok for ourselves, the less judgmental we will be with others.

This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths — how might this be true for you?

Until Wednesday morning, practice gentleness as best as you can; be kind to yourself and others.

Again, remember: an opportunity is an opening, a glimpse of new possibilities — so “opportunities” are not simply handed to us, tied up with a bow — we have to “take” them and make something of them. What will you do with this particular opportunity?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-18 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).

Monday at 7:58am EST, a powerful Mercury/Pluto alignment in 0.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build Saturday evening (Feb. 3rd); it will be strong until this Wednesday morning (Feb. 7th). With this alignment, an all-or-nothing attitude becomes very likely — especially in connection to our networks, group affiliations, or communities.

We have tremendous mental focus — which could tip into obsession. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Connect to the things you feel passionate about — and connect to others, empowering them with your passions.

As best as you can, choose your words carefully — if possible, speak from that deeply connected and empowered place. Here are some questions you can ask yourself: What fears or concerns do I need to let go of to communicate more powerfully and with passion?

Am I living my life from a place of wanting to protect myself from long-term harm or worst-case scenarios? Or with an open heart, feeling empowered in my daily choices?

If you answered “yes” (or “sometimes”) to the first question, ask yourself: Am I ready to let go of thinking or obsessing about worst-case scenarios? Am I ready to trust the process, give myself permission to grieve (if that’s present), and let go of the urge to protect myself at any cost?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or 28-29 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Libra, or Cancer? If so, you may feel more connected to this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Monday night at 12:06am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 7 hours, until 7:08am EST (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments.

As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life, and your need to go within and get quiet. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow.

Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind to yourself.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday night until Tuesday morning ahead of time.

New & Unexpected

This week’s headline items: Uranus remains exalted all week; the last Quarter Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Friday evening; Mercury changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius on Sunday night.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday evening (for almost 9 hours), Thursday early morning (11.5 hours), and Saturday late evening (3 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, you can still watch…

My Soulivity Today Morning Show: Hot Astrology Topics! I was discussing Hot Astrology Topics for January – February 2024 with the lovely Brian Westley Johnson. Don’t miss this! We had an amazing conversation.

You can also still get the mp4-video presentation of our last webinar: “Exalted Uranus & Pluto in Aquarius“, where we discussed the connection between Pluto and Uranus for the next 20 years — as Pluto will be moving through Aquarius.

Please note: some important Membership changes took effect last week! ==> Please click here to watch this brief video for more information, and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or need support!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, January 29th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day; it will journey there until Tuesday very early morning, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Please note: some important Membership changes took effect last week! ==> Please click here to watch this brief video for more information, and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or need support!

Monday at 6:20pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last almost 9 hours, until 3:04am EST (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition.

It’s a great time for connecting with others and being of service. You may also want to talk to your pets or engage in more spiritual conversations that can also support your physical well-being.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening until Tuesday very early morning ahead of time.

Monday evening, a harmonious Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:41pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last Friday early morning (Jan. 26th) on; it will remain strong until this Friday night (Feb. 2nd). This aspect signals a time when our energy level is much higher than usual.

Among other effects, we may find we can work for long hours without fatigue or feel “driven,” especially in new and unusual directions. It could be that we receive backing from unusual sources.

In general, our efforts are successful and we scale new heights of originality. As best as you can, stay open to new and unexpected things that support your career and financial future.

Ask yourself: What ideas concerning my career or long-term goals are coming through? What are some new or unusual directions that I could take?

Highly recommended: Group activities, group causes, and connecting to like-minded people that support our earthly goals.

Do you have your Ascendant (or one or more personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius)

January 22nd – 28th

Lay The Facts On The Table

This week’s headline items: Uranus remains exalted all week; Venus changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn early Tuesday; the Full Moon in Leo becomes exact early Thursday afternoon — and Uranus in Taurus comes to a halt, ending its 5-month Retrograde phase, very early Saturday morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for a little over 1 hour), Wednesday early evening (for a little over 8.5 hours), and Friday afternoon (for almost 10 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, don’t miss those two events…

1) Wednesday, Jan. 24th, at 1pm EST/10am PST/6pm GMT, we have our first Forecasting Forum of the year! ==> Join us for this powerful 90-minute webinar.

You can ask a question about “Uranus’ Station phase in Taurus or Pluto in Aquarius” in advance. Once registered, you can email me between now and Jan. 24th at 11am EST/8am PST/4pm London! I will answer questions in the order they were received.

2) Friday, Jan. 26th (live at 8am EST), join me and the lovely Brian Westley Johnson for another Soulivity Today Morning Show: Hot Astrology Topics!

**If you live in California, you can also listen in via KMET Radio (98.1FM/1490AM) at 8am PST

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, January 22nd:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 4:51pm EST. Until then, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged, we might as well curl up and play dead.

EARLY BIRD PRICING for the “Uranus Station, Pluto in Aquarius” webinar ends today, Monday, at midnight EST! ==> Register now before the price goes up!

Do you want to ask a Question about Uranus’ Station phase in Taurus or Pluto in Aquarius? Email me by Jan. 24th at 11am EST/8am PST/4pm London time. Questions will be answered in the order that they have been received.

Monday at 3:40pm EST, we will enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 1 hour until 4:51pm EST. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for mentally stimulating encounters with your desire to venture beyond your day-to-day mind to connect with others more philosophically.

What’s the larger picture? What are we here to do? What are we here to be? Why now?

As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon ahead of time.

Monday late afternoon at 4:51pm EST, the Moon enters protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say, and our feelings are thus more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-care is vital for the next two and a half days.

Emotional safety is also important to us; we like connecting to the familiar, and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it; otherwise, you might feel drained and resentful.

Please note, there are some important Membership changes that will start on Wednesday, Jan. 24th! ==> Please click here to watch this brief video for more information

Full Moon in Leo — the article

On January 25th at 12:54pm ESTthe Moon opposes the Sun in 5 degrees of Leo — and this is when this month’s Full Moon becomes exact. We started to feel this Full Moon build from the moment the Moon entered Leo on Wednesday night, Jan. 24th. Relationships of all kinds are highlighted.

I have a very important announcement for my current Members:

Since I started my Membership site six years ago, expenses for my Membership site have gone up quite a bit, but I have kept Membership fees at their original rates. Unfortunately, with the latest round of cost increases, I had to make the tough decision to make some changes.

Many of you have also told me that they would do more Readings with me if my prices were a little lower.

The solution that I came up with, is to raise site membership fees by a modest amount, and at the same time offer much deeper Member discounts on Readings, Coaching Packages, and Astrology Courses.

Universal Members will get up to 15% discounts on Services, and Star Members will get up to 25% discounts!

This will help me keep the membership system going and allow all of you to take advantage of my services more often.

The fees will go to $7/month for my Universal Members and to $29/month for my Star Members.
The yearly fee will go to $63 for Universal (that’s 3 FREE Months) and $289 for Star Members.

This will go into effect on Jan. 24th! Please email me at info@astrologercoach.com if you have any questions!

Back to the Full Moon:

All Full Moons offer opportunities to see things in a new light and guide us away from polarization and division toward balance and integration. Ask yourself: How far have I come since setting Intentions back on Jan. 11th or 12th, after the New Moon became exact? What am I aware of at this time?

The balance and integration we seek with this month’s Full Moon are connected to the Aquarius-Leo polarity. As a Member of my online community, if you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video.

This Full Moon chart has a big focus on the outer and social planets:

  • The Sun aligns with Pluto in Aquarius
  • The Moon in Leo opposes not only the Sun but also Pluto in Aquarius, and it also trines Chiron in Aries
  • Jupiter in Taurus is the focus point of a T-square to the Full Moon polarity (as well as Pluto)
  • Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) currently exalted in Taurus, as it is preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase on Jan. 27th; and it trines a Mercury-Mars alignment in Capricorn
  • The Mercury-Mars alignment also squares Chiron, the Wounded Healer
  • Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) currently in Pisces quincunxes the Moon in Leo, and sextiles Jupiter in Taurus and Venus in Capricorn

I will go into all of this in more detail in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Aquarius-Leo polarity:

Aquarius represents a unique vision and approach to life. The classic Aquarian vision is one of interconnected equality and belonging — paradoxically, we are reminded at the same time that the power of unity lies in diversity. It is a concentrative sign.

On the other hand, Leo is all about our self-expression, creativity, and ability to connect to a courageous, innocent heart and inner joy. Leo, at its best, signifies the quest to live from our center, our authentic core, our truth — with joy in our hearts.

As with all Full Moons, we are also invited to…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, January 15th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 11:49pm EST. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual.

We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

Monday evening, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:38pm EST. We have felt this aspect build since Saturday evening (Jan. 13th); it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Jan. 17th). This aspect is an opportunity to dissolve what no longer serves us and connect to our intuition.

We feel inspired. It’s also a great time to bring a sense of flow and faith to our long-term plans.

Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my manifesting and fulfilling long-term goals? What might a good dose of trust in divine timing and support do for my achievements?

Our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we can acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now — any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well — and it feels good to donate time or money to favored causes.

Remember that this is an “opportunity” — it isn’t just handed to us; we must make it happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-28 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Monday at 11:33pm EST, we enter a very brief Moon VoC that lasts 16 minutes until 11:49pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term. As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart that stir you toward success.

As always, with a Moon VoC, don’t start anything new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow as best as you can.

Monday at 11:49pm EST, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning. Life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and enthusiastic about new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

This Moon placement starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Wednesday late evening).

Get Unstuck!

This week’s headline items: the Chiron Station ends on Wednesday; the New Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Thursday morning; Mercury re-enters Capricorn on Saturday late evening; Uranus starts to slow down again (stationing) on Sunday — preparing to end its 5- month Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for 5.5 hours), Thursday late evening (for 28 minutes), and Saturday early morning (for 17.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, don’t miss this…

January 24th at 1pm EST, we have our first Forecasting Forum of the year!

==> Join us for this powerful 90-minute webinar. Early Bird Special is $32 until Jan. 22nd! ==> After that date it will go up to $37.00

We will talk about Uranus, the planet of breakthroughs, innovation & change, as well as Pluto (the planet of deep transformation & power) moving back into Aquarius (the sign most associated with communities, technology & future visions) — for the second time since last March, and this time it will remain in Aquarius until September 1st.

The third pass will be from Nov. 19th, 2024 until Jan. 2044. This is a 246-year cycle, which means the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was from 1778-1798. This is when the United States achieved its independence from Great Britain — through its desire to create a place “of the people for the people”, a place where freedom and equality were honored and aspired to.

If you want to stay on the pulse of all the planetary shifts for this coming year and see how an understanding of these energies can serve you personally, join us every month.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, January 8th:

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday evening. Until then, we’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

Monday afternoon, we have lots of energy at our disposal, plus a desire to connect with others and have some adventures. Physical exercise or activities with others are great ways to channel this energy. We are also invited to collaborate; so look for relationships that nurture you, with people that share your values (Moon conjuncts Venus in Sagittariusexact at 1:44pm EST)

Monday evening, we might find ourselves wanting to explore a new healing modality for body, mind, and heart aimed at renewing our enthusiasm for life.

We are capable of being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best. (Moon in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:44pm EST)

Monday later in the evening, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:24pm EST. Due to the recent Mercury Retrograde and Station phases, this aspect will last an unusually long time; we started to feel it build on Tuesday morning (Jan. 2nd); it will remain strong until Friday morning (Jan.12th).

We also experienced this aspect several weeks ago, at the end of November — think back to that time and ask yourself: Did I need to slow down? Did I feel overwhelmed or easily distracted? What kept me grounded at that time?

This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow. We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.

We are more imaginative now and easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical. What might a creative or intuitive approach look like right now?

It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 10 days.

Ask yourself: What do I feel and perceive when I go beyond all stories, all assumptions, and all meaning?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

New Moon in Capricorn — the article

On January 11th at 6:57am EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in almost 21 degrees of Capricorn, launching a new Moon cycle.

New Moons are good times to reflect on our lives and set new intentions. This is an excellent time to go within and plant a seed for anything we would like to accomplish over the next 28 days and beyond. Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject, here.

There are two quick things I would like to mention before we get started:

1) My latest Podcast/Radio Show for “Soulivity Today” focused on “hot dates” in 2024; if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend that you watch it on YouTube at Soulivity Today or click here to watch it on my website

2) Also! On Jan. 24th at 1pm EST, we have our first Forecasting Forum of the year!

19th, 2024, until Jan. 2044. This is a 246-year cycle, which means the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was from 1778 – 1798. This was when the United States achieved its independence from Great Britain — through its desire to create a place “of the people for the people”, a place where freedom and equality were honored and aspired to.

So, join us for this powerful 90-minute webinar ==> Early Bird Special is only $32 until Jan. 22nd! After that time, it will be $37.00

Everyone who is registered also gets access to the mp4 video recording of the live event. As always, Star Members are automatically registered.

If you want to stay on the pulse of all the planetary shifts for this coming year and see how an understanding of these energies can serve you personally, become a Star Member of my online community and join us every month.

Now, let’s talk about the first New Moon in 2024:

If you did make any New Year’s resolutions, this New Moon cycle will be a great time to implement and make good on those resolutions or intentions.

If you didn’t set any New Year’s resolutions, I can’t blame you, since Mercury was Retrograde at midnight on Dec. 31st/Jan. 1st., and was also squaring Neptune in Pisces — so it may have felt too overwhelming to set any concrete intentions for 2024, or it wasn’t even on your radar…

But do not worry; January 11th is your next chance to set some great goals or intentions, and this time, you will feel much more grounded, realistic, and excited about doing so.

Since this New Moon occurs in Capricorn, it directs us to investigate our relationship with authority, not just “authority” in the external sense, but also our “own authority”.

The highest vibration of Capricorn is self-mastery: the development of responsibility, resourcefulness, reliability, setting realistic goals, and healthy boundaries. So, the next 28 days are perfect for working on these areas.

Since Capricorn represents the quest for…

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 18-23 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for the month’s Moon cycle — the perfect time is after the New Moon becomes exact (but not during a Moon void of course).

So this month, there are two best and most potent times to set intentions — the first would be any time between 6:57am and 9:33pm on Jan. 11th — and the second would be between 10:01pm on Jan. 11th and 4:59am on Jan. 13th. (EST/New York time).

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Page and following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions.

Make Space for Feeling Vulnerable

This week’s headline items: Chiron remains exalted all week, while Jupiter & Mercury are exalted until Saturday; Mercury comes to a halt late on Monday evening, ending its 3-week Retrograde phase — and Mercury starts its post-Shadow phase at that time. The last Quarter Moon in Libra begins late on Wednesday evening; Mars changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn Thursday late morning; Mercury & Jupiter end their Station phases on Saturday; and last but not least, on Sunday evening, the Balsamic Moon phase begins at 2 degrees of Sagittarius.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday evening (for a little over 1 hour), Friday morning (for almost 1 hour), and Sunday afternoon (for 46 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know that…

If you haven’t seen my preview for 2024 yet, from my last Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” ==> not to worry, here is the replay!

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! Hope you all have/had a lovely transition into 2024!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, January 1st:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:26am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday very early morning (Dec. 30th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday late evening (Jan. 3rd). This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves up to this point — a process of maturing that requires us to adjust and stay flexible.

On the one hand, we want to connect in a more external, fast-paced way, exploring life and expanding our horizons; on the other hand, we feel a sharp need to be authentic about our intuitive connection to life and learn what works and what doesn’t when it comes to this inner spiritual journey.

This may involve looking for practical applications of our connection to Source or one-consciousness and determining what’s realistic. This aspect provides an excellent foundation for fulfilling our dreams and supports our interconnectedness with all beings. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.

We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.

The key here is to approach both in a spirit that combines authenticity and maturity rather than attachment to a certain outcome. Pushing will most likely not get us what we want — better to go one slow and steady step at a time, so we can come back later (if needs be) with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, or Gemini? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Monday evening at 10:08pm EST, Mercury comes to a halt again at 22 degrees of Sagittarius, ending its Retrograde phase, and slowly starts its direct motion again.

As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind, and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again when Mercury moves through its post-Shadow phase…more on that in a moment…

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective.

Ask yourself: What did I learn about my long-term goals? What is unrealistic or unsustainable about them? What did I discover about my ability to set healthy boundaries? Was I able to recognize where I need to be less quick to judge? What did my inner dialog teach me? How might I share my findings in a healthy way?

What needs to be addressed now around my autonomy? My own authority on a subject? My beliefs, assumptions or perspectives?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Jan. 6th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 20-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces.

Also on Monday, Mercury’s post-Shadow phase begins — lasting until Jan. 20th…. as you may recall, I mentioned Mercury Shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell, or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde, and after it goes direct.

This is especially true if the items are connected to travel, philosophies, technology, transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.), or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) Click here to read my blog on the subject.

A New Vantage Point

This week’s headline items: Jupiter & Chiron remain exalted all week; Neptune ends its station phase on Monday; the Full Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Tuesday evening; Chiron comes to a halt on Tuesday late evening, ending its 5-month Retrograde phase; Jupiter’s station intensifies on Wednesday; Mercury starts to slow down (station) again on Friday; Venus changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Friday afternoon; and last but not least, Jupiter cones to a halt on Saturday late evening, ending its 4-month Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday very early morning (for almost 7.5 hours), Thursday early evening (for 1.5 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for a little over 6.5 hours).

Before we dive in…

I just want to share: it’s not too late to watch my Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” A Preview of 2024! ==> If you weren’t able to join us live on Dec. 15th, not to worry, here is the replay!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 25th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late morning.

Monday early afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:15pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Dec. 22nd) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (Dec. 27/28th). This supports us with the flow of feelings, especially in connection to our relationships and whatever we most value.

Bringing compassion to our deepest feelings (including fears) and how we relate to others is going to feel easier at this time.

Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.

Ask yourself: Where do I sense emotional blockages? What feels easy to be released at this time? How might a good dose of love and forgiveness support me with this?

Could I perhaps tap into my heart energies 5% more to get a sense that “everything will turn out just as it needs to”? Could I give myself permission to be around people who support and inspire me — as much as possible?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Also on Monday, Neptune resumes its normal pace in the sky — finally ending its Station phase in Pisces. What has come up in the last four weeks around resting, trusting, and allowing? How closely are you in touch with your intuition? Is there a dream that you would like to fulfill now?

Full Moon in Cancer — December 2023

On December 26th at 7:33pm EST, the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 5 degrees of CancerThe entrance of the Moon into Cancer earlier that same day begins the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

This is the second Full Moon in 2023 in the Cancer-Capricorn polarity. The first one was on Jan. 6th, 2023, at the beginning of the year. You could say that started the year in the same way we are invited to end it….

Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this Full Moon, there is a particularly strong emphasis on family- and business relationships.

Before we dive in, I just want to share: it’s not too late to watch my Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” A Preview of 2024! ==> If you weren’t able to join us live on Dec. 15th, not to worry, here is the replay!

Back to the Full Moon…

Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart:

  • Moon in Cancer: sextiles an exalted Jupiter in Taurus and trines Saturn in Pisces
  • Sun in Capricorn: trines an exalted Jupiter and sextiles Saturn
  • Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) in Pisces sextiles an exalted Jupiter in Taurus
  • Mercury and Mars are closely aligned in Sagittarius, both in a Square to Neptune in Pisces
  • Neptune trines Venus in Scorpio, and they both sextile Pluto in Capricorn
  • A highly exalted Chiron in Aries is in a wide Square to the Full Moon polarity and closes in on the North Node in Aries

Jupiter is exalted until Jan. 6th (stationing) as it prepares to end its 4-month Retrograde phase at 5.5 degrees of Taurus on Dec. 30th. However, at the time of the Full Moon, Jupiter will support the integration of the Full Moon polarity because it is sextiling the Moon in Cancer and trining the Sun in Capricorn.

The same is true for Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn. Saturn in Pisces will also support the integration of the Full Moon polarity, as it is trining the Moon and sextiling the Sun.

Chiron is extremely exalted and will halt at 15.5 degrees of Aries only 2.5 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact.

All of the above-mentioned play an important role, so buckle up! More about the specifics regarding all of these planets in a moment. But first, let’s talk about this month’s Full Moon:

This Lunation shows us how well we are doing with self-care and any issues connected to family or home — and also where we are in connection to greater emotional responsibility and self-alignment.

Ask yourself: What’s my relationship to self-care? Where do I feel most “at home”? What’s my understanding of my emotional needs? How might an emotional connection to myself and my loved ones be of benefit to me? How might it shift my priorities?

Let’s take a look at the polarities involved with this Full Moon: The Moon in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer opposes the Sun in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the experience of our personal feelings and emotional needs (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals (Capricorn). It’s important to realize that…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-7 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun sign in Leo or Cancer  (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

December 18th – 24th

Responsible & Flexible Choices

This week’s headline items: Neptune and Chiron remain exalted all week; the first Quarter Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Tuesday afternoon; Thursday late evening, the Sun changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn, marking the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere; Mercury re-enters Sagittarius very early Saturday; Jupiter starts to slow down again (station) at 5.5 degrees of Taurus — preparing to end its 4-month Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for almost 2 hours), Thursday late evening (for 3 minutes), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for a little over 1.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, it’s not too late to watch…

My Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” A Preview of 2024! If you weren’t able to join us live last Friday, not to worry, here is the replay!

**Unfortunately I was a little under the weather, so there is only audio from my end, but it is still worth watching! Enjoy!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 18th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive, intuitive Pisces all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late afternoon. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal.

We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

However, that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities.

A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

Monday late morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:28am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Dec. 4th on; it will remain strong until Thursday afternoon (Dec. 21st), an unusually long time due to Mercury’s Station and Retrograde phases. This is the second time this aspect will be exact within two weeks — the first was on Dec. 7th.

Think back to that time and ask yourself: what connections or interactions with others felt like a boost for your confidence or your pocketbook?

During this time, we are more optimistic. We see the bigger picture, communicate more positively, and readily inspire others.

We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease reconnecting with people from all walks of life. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, and countries — and places of great natural beauty.

Ask yourself: What could I learn about my business, long-term goals, or standing in society that would expand my horizons? What might support a more abundant approach long term?

Optimism plays a big role here as well. Ask yourself: What could I take care of at this time that would support building for the long term (and my bank account too)?

With this aspect, we can also gain a new perspective or philosophy around our social obligations, personal sovereignty, and self-growth.

What does “personal sovereignty” mean to me? How could optimistic thoughts help me have a healthy relationship to myself? How about around my self-worth? My body? Talents? Finances?

Ask yourself: If I start to put pressure on myself or others, could I experiment with making responsible and flexible choices that support my self-worth?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-9 degrees of Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday evening has a nice feeling of ease and an ability to trust and connect deeply with others. As best as you can, trust your intuitive sensing right now, and allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you and others (Moon in Pisces trines Venus in Scorpio, exact at 7:30pm EST)

Monday late evening, we feel more sensitive and need to slow down a little — and at the same time, we also want to move fast and have new experiences. This tension invites us to stretch a little and seek resolution via creative solutions — the key here is to listen to our intuition, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy. (Moon in Pisces squares Mars in Sagittarius, exact at 8:58pm EST)

This week’s headline items: Neptune and Chiron remain exalted all week; the New Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Tuesday evening; very early Wednesday, Mercury comes to a halt at 8.5º of Capricorn, starting its 3-week Retrograde phase; Mercury ends its Station phase on Saturday (remaining in retrograde motion); on Sunday, Chiron’s Station phase intensifies at 15.5º of Aries, and we can start taking actions on our New Moon Intentions.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday early morning (for a little over 2 hours), Wednesday very early morning (for a little over 8.5 hours), Friday late morning (for almost 2 hours), and Sunday morning (for almost 8 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, don’t miss this…

I am excited to say that we have another Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” coming up on Dec. 15th at 8am EST. Get a preview of 2024! Get some very important highlights! ==> Watch this live via YouTube here

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 11th:

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 6:11am EST. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us now; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

Monday early morning at 3:57am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 2 hours, until 6:11am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes.

As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world.

You also have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task now — something that might serve you long-term.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.

Monday at 6:11am EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than issue or obey orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page. Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Taurus, making this a great time to explore our physical reality and comforts. As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your physical needs — and get excited about new ways of experiencing abundance in your life.

Ask yourself: What road might lead to a closer connection to honoring and appreciating the physical world — in general, and more specifically, my own (my body, my money, my stuff)? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude toward my finances?

What personal beliefs about my value am I ready to explore or transcend? Could I allow myself to have faith while exploring the physical world from a new perspective?

Use this time to embrace your self-worth, allow yourself to see beauty everywhere, and value yourself exactly as you are and as you are not. When you honor your values and preferences, you honor life itself! What you conclude in the name of self-love, others will benefit from in the end.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the upcoming New Moon (exact Tuesday evening). Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject if you haven’t seen it yet…

Monday afternoonan opportune Mercury/Venus aspect becomes exact at 2:17pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday morning (Dec. 9th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday morning (Dec. 13th). This aspect gives us the opportunity for more enthusiastic and collaborative connections with others.

Through enhanced communication, we have a chance to clear up any misunderstandings. Promises and clarifications may grow from this, particularly in intimate or financial partnerships; this is also an opportune time to make new social contacts, especially with people who share our long-term goals.

Ask yourself: Who comes to mind when I think of people who share my goals? How might we be able to support each other? What needs to be said?

How might my intimate or financial partnerships benefit from interactions that support concrete and practical planning? Where do I need to give others the gift of listening?

Remember: this is an “opportunity” — those aren’t necessarily handed to us, we have to actively take advantage of them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-10 degrees of Capricorn, Scorpio, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Libra, or Taurus (Mercury is Gemini and Virgo’s ruler; Venus is Taurus and Libra’s ruler).

New Moon in Sagittarius — the article

On Dec. 12th, at 6:32pm EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 20.5 degrees of Sagittarius, beginning a new Moon cycle.

New Moons are a great time to catch our breath; to hit the pause button on our life, and to set some intentions for the new Lunar cycle.

With the New Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, we are asked to go beyond our day-to-day knowledge and look for a larger perspective. Also, feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject

Before we dive in, I just wanted to mention briefly 2 things that may be of interest to you:

Firstly, I am excited to say that we have another Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” coming up on Dec. 15th. I will be interviewed by the lovely Brian Westley Johnson, and I will give a preview about what to expect for 2024!

==> You can watch this live via YouTube at 8am EST (or later as a recording) — or if you live in California, you can listen in via KMET Radio (98.1FM/1490AM) at 8am PST

Secondly, I have a NEW service offering! I added a 30-min. Pet Reading to my list of Readings. This was inspired by one of my clients who asked me for a Reading for her dog, and it was so helpful to her that I thought I would offer it officially as a Reading to all my clients! ==> Feel free to take a look here

Back to the New Moon:

Lots to consider with this New Moon chart:

  • This New Moon aligns with Mars in Sagittarius
  • There are three exalted planets in this New Moon chart: Neptune in Pisces, Chiron in Aries & Mercury in Capricorn
  • Mercury starts its 3-week Retrograde phase only 7.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact
  • The New Moon makes several aspects: it trines an exalted Chiron & the North Node in Aries, it squares an exalted Neptune, and it quincunxes Uranus in Taurus
  • Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius), currently in Taurus, opposes Venus in Scorpio and trines a highly exalted Mercury in Capricorn

More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s look at the Sun/Moon/Mars alignment in Sagittarius:

This combo urges us to examine our beliefs and their impact on our lives. It invites us to look at our direct experience, to see what’s true now, and move forward with excitement.

Ask yourself: Could I be 5% more mindful of the filters through which I interpret life? Could I be present in the here and now and witness things as they are? What is my direct experience when I ignore my social/cultural conditioning?

A direct and courageous approach works best here. We feel more adventurous and probably more impatient. We also like to debate others, persuading them to share our beliefs or perspectives.

Ask yourself: Where do I insist on “being right”? How do I usually feel afterward? Does my truth need to be the only truth there is?

Remember that we are the editors of our own experience. We interpret our reality through many filters, determined by our childhood conditioning, education, religion, culture, gender, and nationality.

Ask yourself: What beliefs, perspectives, or attitudes are worth fighting for? Which ones aren’t? Where could I bring a dose of humor or curiosity to the table?

We prefer to feel free-flowing and excited about new things — especially when we can learn or experience something new. Ask yourself: Where am I invited to take a leap of faith?

There are three exalted planets in this New Moon chart: Neptune in Pisces, Chiron in Aries & Mercury in Capricorn.

We covered all three of those stations in our most recent Forecasting Forum in relation to our birth charts. Please feel free to watch this webinar if it interests you.

**Star Members already have access to this; for everyone else, click here.

Mercury comes to a halt and starts its 3-week Retrograde phase only 7.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact. This makes Mercury highly exalted at the time of this New Moon.

Mercury is all about communication, collecting & processing information, our inner dialog, and our decision-making process.

Ask yourself: What is in my face concerning my long-term plans or business dealings? My economic status? Aspirations? What feels out of integrity in my life?

During the Retrograde phase, until January 1st 2024, we are invited to…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be any time between  6:32pm on Dec. 12th and 1:48am on Dec. 13th; then again from 10:38am (Dec. 13th) until 6:32pm on Dec 14th — New York Time/US Eastern Time

Note that there is a Moon void of course on Dec. 13th — it runs from 1:48am EST until 10:31am EST. Don’t set your intentions during those 8.5 hours — instead, allow intuition to surface possible intentions while you wait.

If you live outside the EST timezone (i.e. US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Page or follow me on Twitter. I will post reminders on Dec. 12th, 13th, and 14th to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

Openness & Modesty

This week’s headline items: Neptune remains exalted all week; Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Monday afternoon; the last Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Monday night/Tuesday very early morning; on Wednesday morning, Neptune comes to halt at 25º of Pisces — ending its 5-months Retrograde phase; on Friday, Mercury begins to slow down (stationing) in Capricorn — preparing for its last Retrograde phase of the year; the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Saturday very early morning; on Sunday, Chiron stations again in Aries — preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase — and Mercury’s Station phase intensifies.

There will only be two Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday morning (for almost 3 hours), and Friday evening (for 2.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, I have a Special Announcement…

I have created an offer for pet lovers! Do you have a cat or dog that you love and adore? Would you like to get to know them even better?

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 4th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Wednesday late morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

This Moon placement also started the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact later tonight/Tuesday very early morning).

Monday afternoon at 1:51pm EST, Venus changes signs from harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra to passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio. She will journey there until Dec. 29th.

Until then, our relationships will get a lot of attention. We have a unique intensity, coupled with a willingness to commit; our actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.

Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time, and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are — it’s like having X-ray vision of the heart.

As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others — especially if it’s someone you have (or want to have) a committed relationship with.

With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Investments in transformational programs are recommended, as are partnerships in general.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 12:49am EST, the last Quarter Moon in almost 13 degree of Virgo becomes exact (we started to feel this aspect build the moment the Moon entered Virgo, on Sunday late evening). While in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, the Moon makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. We are better served during the last Quarter Moon by reviewing any projects begun around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Nov. 23rd — rather than launching new ones.

As best as you can, find kind and creative solutions for whatever comes up, whether internally or with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, or Gemini? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer? If so, you will strongly feel this month’s last Quarter Moon; given the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer, the same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer.

November 27th – Dec. 3rd

Release or Redefine any Compulsive Need for Approval & Connection

This week’s headline items: Neptune remains exalted all week; the Full Moon in Gemini becomes exact early Monday; Venus aligns with the South Node in Libra on Wednesday early afternoon; and Mercury changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Friday late morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday evening (for almost 6 hours), Friday morning (for almost 3 hours), and Sunday late evening (for a little over 1.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a last reminder…

Neptune (our primary connection to universal love and our intuitive knowing) started its station phase on Nov. 19th, and its station intensified on Nov. 25th. Neptune increases our access to spiritual insights, compassion, and creativity at this time. It gives us access to the energetic realm. The realm that connects all living things and where no separation exists.

On Friday this week, you will get a chance to take a look at your own birth chart to see how this might impact you personally. We will also address Chiron’s Station Direct phase in Aries and the last Mercury Retrograde phase of the year in Sagittarius/Capricorn.

You can ask a question in connection with these planetary movements in advance. Once registered, you can email me between now and Dec. 1st at 3pm EST/1pm PST/8pm London-time! I will answer questions in the order they were received.

==> Star Members are automatically registered; everyone else, please register here! Early Bird Pricing is still available until Wednesday, Nov. 29th, at midnight EST!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 27th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning.

Monday at 4:16am EST, the Full Moon in almost 5º of Gemini becomes exact; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini Sunday evening started the energetic build-up towards the Full Moon.

The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini, opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Let’s start by looking at the highlights of this Full Moon:

  • The Moon makes an opposition to the Sun & Mars alignment in Sagittarius, which asks us to take action on something that we have been meaning to take care of since the New Moon in Gemini, around June 18th, 2023.
  • Saturn in Pisces becomes the Focus Point of a T-Square, squaring the Moon in Gemini and the Sun-Mars alignment in Sagittarius, asking us to be present in the here and now and bring this practice to our daily routines.
  • The Sun in Sagittarius quincunxes Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) on Nov. 29th, and Mars will follow suit on Dec. 3rd, which invites us to make some inner adjustments. Still, ultimately, it’s about seeing the bigger picture and being adaptable.
  • Neptune in Pisces (our primary connection to universal love and our intuitive knowing) is still exalted until Dec. 25th, making this planet’s energy a vital part of this Full Moon chart; it also squares  Mercury in Sagittarius.
  • Mercury, the planet of communication, also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini), not only squares Neptune but also trines the North Node in Aries & sextiles the South Node-Venus alignment in Libra.
  • Mercury’s aspects to the Moon Nodes & Venus ask us to widen our horizons and take an optimistic approach when interacting with others and going after our goals & passions.

I will go into all these aspects in more detail in a moment — but first…

Full Moons illuminate each sign’s higher/lighter vibration and the denser Shadow side. As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows moves more to the forefront — where we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level.

This ultimately creates a more conscious society that can make more empowering choices for the future. However, it is essential to remember that this process takes time to create a visible collective shift.

Let’s take a look at the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity:

Gemini asks us to develop intelligence, objectivity, and open-mindedness. At the same time, Sagittarius wants us to go beyond those places and look for something much bigger: wisdom, broader perspectives, philosophies, ethics, and faith.

The lighter side of Gemini is all about… To read the whole Full Moon article and get access to all the Coaching Questions in writing, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-7 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Monday morning, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:27am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday very early morning (Nov. 25th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Nov. 29th).

Ask yourself: What might a creative or intuitive approach look like right now?

It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Full Moon in Gemini — the article

On November 27th, at 4:16am EST, the Full Moon becomes exact in almost 5 degrees of Gemini; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini on Sunday evening (Nov. 26th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 9:29am EST. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, innovative methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again, we have our eyes on the future — perhaps even on outer space. Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Monday at 5:50am EST, the first Quarter Moon in almost 28° of Aquarius becomes exact. We started to feel this build from the moment the Moon entered Aquarius, on Saturday morning (Nov.18th). The Moon in freedom-loving, progressive, detached, objective Aquarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in passionate, all-or-nothing, intimacy-craving Scorpio.

We feel compelled to take action. On Nov. 13th, the New Moon in Scorpio became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of AquariusScorpio, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday at 5:50am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 3.5 hours until 9:29am EST. We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we need to break the rules, stay emotionally detached, and move towards a vision that serves many.

On the other hand, we want to go deeper on an emotional level and come from a place of passion and empowerment — but first, we may have to address some fears and issues connected to disempowerment stemming from our past.

As best as you can, use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday at 9:29am EST, the Moon enters creative, sensitive, intuitive Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.

It’s also a great time to allow all there is as it is and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.

Ask yourself: Is my “Higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?

Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and animals teach me about those realms?

Do I need more downtime? More resting time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?

Monday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 4:26pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build on Saturday (Nov. 18th); it will remain strong until early Thursday, Nov. 23rd. This is an opportunity to bring a deeper emotional connection to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.

It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real — and to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we must make something of it.

Ask yourself: What if I created more awareness around my personal survival tactics? What might I discover about any long-term structures I have built in the past 10 years? What if I allowed these insights to truly change my b  ehaviors? What if I trusted the process I use to achieve empowerment?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces, Virgo, or 0 degrees of Sagittarius, Aquarius, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Monday late evening, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 10:08pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening (Nov. 18th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday night (Nov. 22nd). This aspect is a wonderful possibility for active healing in regard to our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.

We can bring compassion (for ourselves and others) to communications that trigger us. We are able to allow more space for the “bigger picture” as we share our stories. Acceptance and understanding of our own and others’ “Human-ness” come more easily now. Humor can be a helpful way to explore our own humanity…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

November 13th – 19th

A Chance to Clear Up Misunderstandings

This week’s headline items: the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact early on Monday morning; Saturn’s Station phase ends on Tuesday; we can act on our New Moon Intentions starting Friday; the Sun aligns with Mars in Scorpio, starting a new Sun-Mars cycle very early Saturday; on Sunday, Neptune starts to slow down (station) again in almost 25º of Pisces, as it prepares to end its 5-month Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for almost 3.5 hours), Wednesday evening (for almost 9 hours), and Saturday very early morning (for 3 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

I am excited to say that I will be a regular guest on the Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Topics Friday” starting on Friday, Nov. 17th at 8am EST ==> Join me once a month as I discuss hot astrology topics with the lovely Brian Westley Johnson.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 13th:

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 9:23pm EST. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”.

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs through subtraction — it encourages us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Monday early morning at 4:27am EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in almost 21 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle. With the New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, it brings our focus to our intimate relationships and deepest emotional desires and fears; if you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject

Eclipse season is over; Saturn has Stationed Direct on Nov. 4th, so we are feeling a bit more grounded and ready to move things forward in a bigger way.

Here are a couple of things to note in this New Moon chart:

Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, aligns with the New Moon, and all three of those planetary bodies make a Trine to Neptune in Pisces, as well as an exact Opposition to Uranus in Taurus — the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, and innovation.

Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, is still in serious, cautious, and goal-oriented Capricorn until January 20th, 2024, and still squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra until December 8th/9th. Pluto also still trines Uranus in Taurus and still sextiles Neptune in Pisces.

Mercury, the messenger of the heavens, sextiles Venus in Libra and squares an exalted Saturn in Pisces at the time of the New Moon. More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Scorpio energies…

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships.

Scorpio is also the sign most associated with the dark: the taboo, the subconscious, the unknown. Our Shadow holds not only our fears, unresolved trauma, and less desirable qualities but anything that has been repressed, including our power, intuition, and other gifts.

Now, let’s talk about some planetary aspects in this New Moon chart: The New Moon aligns with Mars in Scorpio. This brings a heightened focus toward… To read the whole New Moon article and get access to all the Coaching questions, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 4:27am and 6:03pm on Nov. 13th, then again from 9:23pm (Nov. 13th) until 4:27am on Nov. 15th — New York Time/US Eastern Time.

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan Page or follow me on Twitter (now “X”). I will be posting reminders on Nov. 13th, 14th, and 15th to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

Monday early afternoon, a Sun/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 12:21pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Nov.10th); it will remain strong until Thursday morning (Nov. 16th). What we value in our lives could now be challenged…

We are asked to create a balance between our urge for personal freedom (including financial freedom) versus our awareness of the importance of intimate, empowering connections and collaborations with others.

This aspect is an invitation to stay open and flexible in regard to our interactions with people. We may need to find a balance between what we value/what’s important to us on a physical level, or with our intimate partnerships, or what’s important to us on an emotional level. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time.

If you experience fear or uncertainty, focus on what you could really get excited about and get behind in a realistic, grounded way — something that could make a difference, something meaningful. Also, take it one moment at a time; there is no need to rush anything. Simply ask yourself: Could I allow myself to be uncomfortable, just for right now?

We may find that we disagree with other people’s values. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (or react) towards others — or around our desire for financial freedom and independence. We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible.

Ask yourself: How is my life being interrupted by “divine interventions”? What insights might those interventions have for me? What needs more space in my life?

How might thinking outside the box support my connections with others? What needs a new approach in my interactions? Might it benefit me to stay flexible regarding my intimate relationships or financial partnerships? How might staying calm — in this uncertain climate — support my sanity?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Monday evening at 6:03pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 3.5 hours until 9:23pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world — you have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task now — something that might serve you long-term.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time.

Monday late evening at 9:23pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

What personal beliefs about my value am I now ready to explore or transcend? Could I allow myself to have faith while exploring the physical world from a new perspective?

Use this time to embrace your self-worth, allow yourself to see beauty everywhere, and value yourself exactly as you are and as you are not. When you honor your own values and preferences, you are honoring life itself! What you conclude in the name of self-love, others will benefit from it in the end.
