New Moon in Sagittarius — the article

On Dec. 12th, at 6:32pm EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 20.5 degrees of Sagittarius, beginning a new Moon cycle.

New Moons are a great time to catch our breath; to hit the pause button on our life, and to set some intentions for the new Lunar cycle.

With the New Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, we are asked to go beyond our day-to-day knowledge and look for a larger perspective. Also, feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject

Before we dive in, I just wanted to mention briefly 2 things that may be of interest to you:

Firstly, I am excited to say that we have another Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” coming up on Dec. 15th. I will be interviewed by the lovely Brian Westley Johnson, and I will give a preview about what to expect for 2024!

==> You can watch this live via YouTube at 8am EST (or later as a recording) — or if you live in California, you can listen in via KMET Radio (98.1FM/1490AM) at 8am PST

Secondly, I have a NEW service offering! I added a 30-min. Pet Reading to my list of Readings. This was inspired by one of my clients who asked me for a Reading for her dog, and it was so helpful to her that I thought I would offer it officially as a Reading to all my clients! ==> Feel free to take a look here

Back to the New Moon:

Lots to consider with this New Moon chart:

  • This New Moon aligns with Mars in Sagittarius
  • There are three exalted planets in this New Moon chart: Neptune in Pisces, Chiron in Aries & Mercury in Capricorn
  • Mercury starts its 3-week Retrograde phase only 7.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact
  • The New Moon makes several aspects: it trines an exalted Chiron & the North Node in Aries, it squares an exalted Neptune, and it quincunxes Uranus in Taurus
  • Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius), currently in Taurus, opposes Venus in Scorpio and trines a highly exalted Mercury in Capricorn

More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s look at the Sun/Moon/Mars alignment in Sagittarius:

This combo urges us to examine our beliefs and their impact on our lives. It invites us to look at our direct experience, to see what’s true now, and move forward with excitement.

Ask yourself: Could I be 5% more mindful of the filters through which I interpret life? Could I be present in the here and now and witness things as they are? What is my direct experience when I ignore my social/cultural conditioning?

A direct and courageous approach works best here. We feel more adventurous and probably more impatient. We also like to debate others, persuading them to share our beliefs or perspectives.

Ask yourself: Where do I insist on “being right”? How do I usually feel afterward? Does my truth need to be the only truth there is?

Remember that we are the editors of our own experience. We interpret our reality through many filters, determined by our childhood conditioning, education, religion, culture, gender, and nationality.

Ask yourself: What beliefs, perspectives, or attitudes are worth fighting for? Which ones aren’t? Where could I bring a dose of humor or curiosity to the table?

We prefer to feel free-flowing and excited about new things — especially when we can learn or experience something new. Ask yourself: Where am I invited to take a leap of faith?

There are three exalted planets in this New Moon chart: Neptune in Pisces, Chiron in Aries & Mercury in Capricorn.

We covered all three of those stations in our most recent Forecasting Forum in relation to our birth charts. Please feel free to watch this webinar if it interests you.

Mercury comes to a halt and starts its 3-week Retrograde phase only 7.5 hours after the New Moon becomes exact. This makes Mercury highly exalted at the time of this New Moon.

Mercury is all about communication, collecting & processing information, our inner dialog, and our decision-making process.

Ask yourself: What is in my face concerning my long-term plans or business dealings? My economic status? Aspirations? What feels out of integrity in my life?

During the Retrograde phase, until January 1st 2024, we are invited to…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be any time between  6:32pm on Dec. 12th and 1:48am on Dec. 13th; then again from 10:38am (Dec. 13th) until 6:32pm on Dec 14th — New York Time/US Eastern Time

Note that there is a Moon void of course on Dec. 13th — it runs from 1:48am EST until 10:31am EST. Don’t set your intentions during those 8.5 hours — instead, allow intuition to surface possible intentions while you wait.

If you live outside the EST timezone (i.e. US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Page or follow me on Twitter. I will post reminders on Dec. 12th, 13th, and 14th to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

This week’s headline items: Neptune remains exalted all week; Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Monday afternoon; the last Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Monday night/Tuesday very early morning; on Wednesday morning, Neptune comes to halt at 25º of Pisces — ending its 5-months Retrograde phase; on Friday, Mercury begins to slow down (stationing) in Capricorn — preparing for its last Retrograde phase of the year; the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Saturday very early morning; on Sunday, Chiron stations again in Aries — preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase — and Mercury’s Station phase intensifies.

There will only be two Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday morning (for almost 3 hours), and Friday evening (for 2.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, December 4th:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Wednesday late morning; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

This Moon placement also started the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact later tonight/Tuesday very early morning).

Monday afternoon at 1:51pm EST, Venus changes signs from harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra to passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio. She will journey there until Dec. 29th.

Until then, our relationships will get a lot of attention. We have a unique intensity, coupled with a willingness to commit; our actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.

Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time, and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are — it’s like having X-ray vision of the heart.

As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others — especially if it’s someone you have (or want to have) a committed relationship with.

With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Investments in transformational programs are recommended, as are partnerships in general.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 12:49am EST, the last Quarter Moon in almost 13 degree of Virgo becomes exact (we started to feel this aspect build the moment the Moon entered Virgo, on Sunday late evening). While in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, the Moon makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. We are better served during the last Quarter Moon by reviewing any projects begun around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Nov. 23rd — rather than launching new ones.

As best as you can, find kind and creative solutions for whatever comes up, whether internally or with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, or Gemini? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer? If so, you will strongly feel this month’s last Quarter Moon; given the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer, the same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer.

November 27th – Dec. 3rd

Release or Redefine any Compulsive Need for Approval & Connection

This week’s headline items: Neptune remains exalted all week; the Full Moon in Gemini becomes exact early Monday; Venus aligns with the South Node in Libra on Wednesday early afternoon; and Mercury changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Friday late morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday evening (for almost 6 hours), Friday morning (for almost 3 hours), and Sunday late evening (for a little over 1.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a last reminder…

Neptune (our primary connection to universal love and our intuitive knowing) started its station phase on Nov. 19th, and its station intensified on Nov. 25th. Neptune increases our access to spiritual insights, compassion, and creativity at this time. It gives us access to the energetic realm. The realm that connects all living things and where no separation exists.

On Friday this week, you will get a chance to take a look at your own birth chart to see how this might impact you personally. We will also address Chiron’s Station Direct phase in Aries and the last Mercury Retrograde phase of the year in Sagittarius/Capricorn.

You can ask a question in connection with these planetary movements in advance. Once registered, you can email me between now and Dec. 1st at 3pm EST/1pm PST/8pm London-time! I will answer questions in the order they were received.

==> Star Members are automatically registered; everyone else, please register here! Early Bird Pricing is still available until Wednesday, Nov. 29th, at midnight EST!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 27th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning. Until then, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged, we might as well curl up and play dead.

Monday at 4:16am EST, the Full Moon in almost 5º of Gemini becomes exact; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini Sunday evening started the energetic build-up towards the Full Moon.

The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini, opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Let’s start by looking at the highlights of this Full Moon:

  • The Moon makes an opposition to the Sun & Mars alignment in Sagittarius, which asks us to take action on something that we have been meaning to take care of since the New Moon in Gemini, around June 18th, 2023.
  • Saturn in Pisces becomes the Focus Point of a T-Square, squaring the Moon in Gemini and the Sun-Mars alignment in Sagittarius, asking us to be present in the here and now and bring this practice to our daily routines.
  • The Sun in Sagittarius quincunxes Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) on Nov. 29th, and Mars will follow suit on Dec. 3rd, which invites us to make some inner adjustments. Still, ultimately, it’s about seeing the bigger picture and being adaptable.
  • Neptune in Pisces (our primary connection to universal love and our intuitive knowing) is still exalted until Dec. 25th, making this planet’s energy a vital part of this Full Moon chart; it also squares  Mercury in Sagittarius.
  • Mercury, the planet of communication, also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini), not only squares Neptune but also trines the North Node in Aries & sextiles the South Node-Venus alignment in Libra.
  • Mercury’s aspects to the Moon Nodes & Venus ask us to widen our horizons and take an optimistic approach when interacting with others and going after our goals & passions.

I will go into all these aspects in more detail in a moment — but first…

Full Moons illuminate each sign’s higher/lighter vibration and the denser Shadow side. As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows moves more to the forefront — where we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level.

This ultimately creates a more conscious society that can make more empowering choices for the future. However, it is essential to remember that this process takes time to create a visible collective shift.

Let’s take a look at the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity:

Gemini asks us to develop intelligence, objectivity, and open-mindedness. At the same time, Sagittarius wants us to go beyond those places and look for something much bigger: wisdom, broader perspectives, philosophies, ethics, and faith.

The lighter side of Gemini is all about… To read the whole Full Moon article and get access to all the Coaching Questions in writing, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-7 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer)

Monday morning, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:27am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday very early morning (Nov. 25th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Nov. 29th). This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow.

We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.

We are more imaginative now and easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical. Ask yourself: What might a creative or intuitive approach look like right now?

It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.

Ask yourself: What do I feel and perceive when I go beyond all stories, all assumptions, and all meaning?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Full Moon in Gemini — the article

On November 27th, at 4:16am EST, the Full Moon becomes exact in almost 5 degrees of Gemini; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini on Sunday evening (Nov. 26th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday early morning (for a little over 3.5 hours), Wednesday late morning (for a little over 2 hours), Friday early afternoon (for almost 3 hours), and Sunday late afternoon (for almost 3 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 20th:

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 9:29am EST. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, innovative methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again, we have our eyes on the future — perhaps even on outer space. Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Monday at 5:50am EST, the first Quarter Moon in almost 28° of Aquarius becomes exact. We started to feel this build from the moment the Moon entered Aquarius, on Saturday morning (Nov.18th). The Moon in freedom-loving, progressive, detached, objective Aquarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in passionate, all-or-nothing, intimacy-craving Scorpio.

We feel compelled to take action. On Nov. 13th, the New Moon in Scorpio became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of AquariusScorpio, Taurus, or Leo? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday at 5:50am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 3.5 hours until 9:29am EST. We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we need to break the rules, stay emotionally detached, and move towards a vision that serves many.

On the other hand, we want to go deeper on an emotional level and come from a place of passion and empowerment — but first, we may have to address some fears and issues connected to disempowerment stemming from our past.

As best as you can, use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday at 9:29am EST, the Moon enters creative, sensitive, intuitive Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all — but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

However, that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also a great time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.

It’s also a great time to allow all there is as it is and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.

Ask yourself: Is my “Higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?

Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and animals teach me about those realms?

Do I need more downtime? More resting time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?

Monday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 4:26pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build on Saturday (Nov. 18th); it will remain strong until early Thursday, Nov. 23rd. This is an opportunity to bring a deeper emotional connection to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.

It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real — and to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we must make something of it.

Ask yourself: What if I created more awareness around my personal survival tactics? What might I discover about any long-term structures I have built in the past 10 years? What if I allowed these insights to truly change my b  ehaviors? What if I trusted the process I use to achieve empowerment?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces, Virgo, or 0 degrees of Sagittarius, Aquarius, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Monday late evening, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 10:08pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening (Nov. 18th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday night (Nov. 22nd). This aspect is a wonderful possibility for active healing in regard to our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.

We can bring compassion (for ourselves and others) to communications that trigger us. We are able to allow more space for the “bigger picture” as we share our stories. Acceptance and understanding of our own and others’ “Human-ness” come more easily now. Humor can be a helpful way to explore our own humanity…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

A Chance to Clear Up Misunderstandings

This week’s headline items: the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact early on Monday morning; Saturn’s Station phase ends on Tuesday; we can act on our New Moon Intentions starting Friday; the Sun aligns with Mars in Scorpio, starting a new Sun-Mars cycle very early Saturday; on Sunday, Neptune starts to slow down (station) again in almost 25º of Pisces, as it prepares to end its 5-month Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for almost 3.5 hours), Wednesday evening (for almost 9 hours), and Saturday very early morning (for 3 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

I am excited to say that I will be a regular guest on the Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Topics Friday” starting on Friday, Nov. 17th at 8am EST ==> Join me once a month as I discuss hot astrology topics with the lovely Brian Westley Johnson.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 13th:

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 9:23pm EST. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”.

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs through subtraction — it encourages us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Monday early morning at 4:27am EST, the Moon aligns with the Sun in almost 21 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle. With the New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, it brings our focus to our intimate relationships and deepest emotional desires and fears; if you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject

Eclipse season is over; Saturn has Stationed Direct on Nov. 4th, so we are feeling a bit more grounded and ready to move things forward in a bigger way.

Here are a couple of things to note in this New Moon chart:

Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, aligns with the New Moon, and all three of those planetary bodies make a Trine to Neptune in Pisces, as well as an exact Opposition to Uranus in Taurus — the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, and innovation.

Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, is still in serious, cautious, and goal-oriented Capricorn until January 20th, 2024, and still squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra until December 8th/9th. Pluto also still trines Uranus in Taurus and still sextiles Neptune in Pisces.

Mercury, the messenger of the heavens, sextiles Venus in Libra and squares an exalted Saturn in Pisces at the time of the New Moon. More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Scorpio energies…

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships.

Scorpio is also the sign most associated with the dark: the taboo, the subconscious, the unknown. Our Shadow holds not only our fears, unresolved trauma, and less desirable qualities but anything that has been repressed, including our power, intuition, and other gifts.

Now, let’s talk about some planetary aspects in this New Moon chart: The New Moon aligns with Mars in Scorpio. This brings a heightened focus toward… To read the whole New Moon article and get access to all the Coaching questions, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 4:27am and 6:03pm on Nov. 13th, then again from 9:23pm (Nov. 13th) until 4:27am on Nov. 15th — New York Time/US Eastern Time.

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan Page or follow me on Twitter (now “X”). I will be posting reminders on Nov. 13th, 14th, and 15th to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

For more info on how to set your New Moon Intentions, click here.

Monday early afternoon, a Sun/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 12:21pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Nov.10th); it will remain strong until Thursday morning (Nov. 16th). What we value in our lives could now be challenged…

We are asked to create a balance between our urge for personal freedom (including financial freedom) versus our awareness of the importance of intimate, empowering connections and collaborations with others.

This aspect is an invitation to stay open and flexible in regard to our interactions with people. We may need to find a balance between what we value/what’s important to us on a physical level, or with our intimate partnerships, or what’s important to us on an emotional level. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time.

If you experience fear or uncertainty, focus on what you could really get excited about and get behind in a realistic, grounded way — something that could make a difference, something meaningful. Also, take it one moment at a time; there is no need to rush anything. Simply ask yourself: Could I allow myself to be uncomfortable, just for right now?

We may find that we disagree with other people’s values. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (or react) towards others — or around our desire for financial freedom and independence. We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible.

Ask yourself: How is my life being interrupted by “divine interventions”? What insights might those interventions have for me? What needs more space in my life?

How might thinking outside the box support my connections with others? What needs a new approach in my interactions? Might it benefit me to stay flexible regarding my intimate relationships or financial partnerships? How might staying calm — in this uncertain climate — support my sanity?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Monday evening at 6:03pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 3.5 hours until 9:23pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world — you have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task now — something that might serve you long-term.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time.

Monday late evening at 9:23pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Taurus, making this a great time to explore our physical reality and comforts. As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your physical needs — and get excited about new ways of experiencing abundance in your life.

Ask yourself: What road might lead to a closer connection to honoring and appreciating the physical world — in general, and more specifically, my own (my body, my money, my stuff)? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude toward my finances?

What personal beliefs about my value am I now ready to explore or transcend? Could I allow myself to have faith while exploring the physical world from a new perspective?

Use this time to embrace your self-worth, allow yourself to see beauty everywhere, and value yourself exactly as you are and as you are not. When you honor your own values and preferences, you are honoring life itself! What you conclude in the name of self-love, others will benefit from it in the end.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 6th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 2:39pm EST. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness…

So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, and tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

Monday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:38am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Nov. 3rd) on; it will remain strong until Thursday very early morning (Nov. 9th). This aspect brings a fruitful and rewarding period in our lives.

We experience new depths of intimacy (with an existing or new partner), we learn to appreciate the important people in our lives, and our value system transforms and evolves.

This is likely an excellent period for finances as well. Work we’ve done might pay off, and we are able to manage our finances better, with more attention to detail, planning, and strategy — as well as the elimination of anything that no longer serves us.

We might renew a commitment, or bring new, deeper and more intimate energy into a relationship under the influence of this aspect.

Our sexual lives might get a real boost now, as we tend to want to connect on a deeper level. We might find ourselves strongly attracted to someone, almost to the point of obsession.

If this aspect connects with any of your personal planets, you might just meet the “love of your life”.

One thing is for sure — relationships experienced now are bound to be unforgettable. While this transit tends to signal new or strengthened relationships, any relationship that ends during this cycle may leave us feeling liberated.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 25-29 degrees of VirgoCapricorn, Taurus, or 0-1 degrees in Libra, Aquarius or Gemini? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Monday at 2:39pm EST, the Moon enters detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Monday evening, a harmonious Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:37pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening (Nov. 4th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Nov. 8th). This aspect supports imaginative thinking and the ability to connect our day-to-day mind with our intuition.

We pick up on what is going on with others, and can flow with that, as we can sense how our words land. This heightened sensitivity to subtle signals also opens us to metaphysical or spiritual concepts, visual arts, poetry — and to commercial messaging from advertisers and marketers.

Our capacity for compassion is quite strong as well, both for ourselves and others, and we are feeling especially intuitive.

Ask yourself: When I tune into myself what do I feel connected to? What if I tune into life itself? What thinking that stems from my past is now asking to be released? Where might I want to forgive what was said?

Do you have any of your personal planets or Ascendant in 22-28 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

A Breakthrough around Health & Well-being

This week’s headline items: Saturn remains exalted all week; Pluto ends its Station phase on Tuesday; Saturn comes to a halt at 0.5 Pisces on Saturday very early morning — ending its 4.5-month Retrograde phase that started on June 17th; the last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Sunday early morning.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday morning (for 3.5 hours), Wednesday morning (for almost 9 hours), Friday late evening (almost 4 hours), and Sunday night (just over 12 hours)

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know that…

If you missed our brilliant webinar last week about the “Lunar Eclipse & Saturn Station”, you can still get access to it via my webinar page here on my website! ==> Available for purchase until November 8th only!

In this webinar you will learn how to best make use of the exalted Saturn energy in Pisces until Nov. 14th, and the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus-Scorpio that will last until December 6th.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 30th:

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 11:08am EDT. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing until 11:08am EDT? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.

Monday at 7:36am EDT,  we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 3.5 hours until 11:08am EDT. Use this intuitive time to empower each other in regard to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.

Monday at 11:08am EDT, the Moon enters chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday early evening. For the next 2.5 days, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead…

October 23rd – 29th

Feeling Restless?

This week’s headline items: Pluto and Saturn remain exalted all week; the Sun changes signs from Libra to Scorpio early on Monday afternoon; Saturn’s station in Pisces intensifies on Friday; and a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus becomes exact on Saturday afternoon.

Please note that Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning (Oct. 29th) but continues in the US until Nov. 5th!

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 13.5 hours), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for almost 3.5 hours), and Saturday early morning (for almost 3.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a last reminder…

We are getting ready to complete the Taurus-Scorpio Eclipse cycle that started in November of 2021! A powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse becomes exact this Saturday. This allows us to complete an evolutionary process that emphasizes a healthy sense of self-esteem and relationship with the physical world — we have been learning how to value ourselves, each other, and the Earth more highly.

On Friday this week, you will get a chance to take a look at your own birth chart to see how this might impact you personally. We will also address Saturn’s Station Direct phase in Pisces. You can ask a question in connection with these planetary movements in advance. Once registered, you can email me between now and Oct. 27th at 3pm EDT! I will answer questions in the order they were received.

==> Star Members are automatically registered; everyone else, please register here! Early Bird Pricing is still available until Wednesday, Oct. 25th, at midnight EDT!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 23rd:

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning.

Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Monday early afternoon at 12:21pm EDTthe Sun changes signs from harmony-seeking Libra to passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Nov. 22nd. The guiding principle of Scorpio is “I desire”. With the Sun in Scorpio, our consciousness is drawn towards depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling.

Superficiality simply will not do for the next 30 days. We have the desire to get to the bottom of what matters. We are more interested in that which is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed. Scorpio’s energy is passionate, strong-willed, and intense. Used in its highest vibration, it can be an immensely healing and transformative energy.

On a lower vibration, Scorpio can express jealousy and vindictiveness — and do so using manipulative tactics. Direct your awareness to your feelings, fears, and behaviors. As best as you can, embrace all your feelings, let go of your fears, and rid yourself of behaviors that no longer serve you.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Scorpio, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more aware of your own shadow parts… anything that you have suppressed or denied about yourself.

Monday at 3:04pm EDT,  we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 13.5 hours until 4:33am EDT (on Tuesday early morning). During this intuitive time, you may feel pulled into two different directions: On the one hand, you may experience a need to connect with like-minded people while remaining objective; on the other hand, you may want to make space for pursuing your financial vision — and breaking free from outdated value systems.

You may have to address what you value, both in others and in yourself (which informs self-worth); as best as you can, use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

As always, with a Moon VoC, avoid starting anything brand-new — instead, stick to your routine or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon until Tuesday early morning ahead of time.

Powerful Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in Taurus — the article

On October 28th at 4:24 pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 5º of Taurus/Scorpio). The entrance of the Moon into Taurus on Oct. 28th at 7:44am EDT begins the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

This powerful Full Moon is a shallow Partial Lunar Eclipse viewable across Europe, Africa, most of Asia, and western Australia. The partial Eclipse lasts 78 minutes (=1hr 18min), so we will feel the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for approximately 39 days.

This Lunar Eclipse is the last of the Eclipses in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity — an Eclipse cycle that began in November 2021!

This allows us to complete an evolutionary process emphasizing creating a healthy sense of self-esteem and having a healthy relationship with the physical world —  learning how to value ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

So, the question is: How well have you been doing with this exploration for yourself since November of 2021? What more is there to be learned? What processes are asking to be completed?

What fears are still asking to be faced? What old traumas still need to be healed? What’s the best way to own your power? What is still holding you back?

As you might know from my last Solar Eclipse video, Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

With this particular Eclipse, the Moon Nodes are no longer in the same signs as the Full Moon polarity. That said, they are within 12 degrees of the Full Moon — close enough for this to still be a Lunar Eclipse — partial perhaps, but still powerful.

The Lunar Eclipse highlights relationships of all kinds — but with this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a heightened emphasis on self-value and intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what we need to explore, embrace, and integrate about the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to Oct. 27th, 2004: What did I need to integrate back then?

What became clearer at that time around exploring my talents? What about my self-worth — was I able to see my value? What about my relationship with money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience inner peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address this upcoming Lunar Eclipse in our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 27th at 5pm EDT/2pm PT! Please join us if you want to know how this powerful Lunation will impact you personally. We will also address Saturn’s Station Direct phase in Pisces.

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until October 25th! So I invite you to take advantage of that — unless you are already a Star Member — you are automatically registered and will receive an invite email to join us live (it goes out the day before the live event). I release the mp4 video recording within 24 hours of the live event.

Many planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart:

  • The Moon in Taurus closely conjuncts Jupiter
  • The Moon not only opposes the Sun but also Mercury & Mars in Scorpio
  • The Moon sextiles an exalted Saturn in Pisces
  • Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is currently in Virgo and trines Uranus & Jupiter in Taurus
  • Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces
  • The modern ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) is still in Capricorn and exalted, sextiling Neptune
  • Pluto also still squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra
  • Pluto also trines Uranus in Taurus
  • Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) closely aligns with Mercury in Scorpio
  • Mars & Mercury in Scorpio almost exactly oppose Jupiter in Taurus

I’ll give you more details in a moment. For the next 39 days, we seek…

Collaborative, Polite, and Justice-Driven

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains exalted all week; Monday afternoon is the time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions; on Friday, Saturn starts to slow down again (stationing), preparing to end its 4-month Retrograde phase; a first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact Saturday late evening; Mercury changes signs for Libra to Scorpio very early Sunday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for almost 4 hours), Thursday afternoon (for almost 7 hours), and Sunday very early morning (for 6 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 16th:

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, and “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies …

Monday morning, we are invited to expand our perspectives on finances and self-worth, explore our intimate partnerships, and balance our need for intimate connections against an exploration of our talents and values.

As best as you can, expand your perspectives around those deeper emotional connections that contribute to your own experience of wholeness, emotional satisfaction, and the physical reality of your life — and enjoy the optimism. Remember not to overextend yourself! (Moon in Scorpio opposes Jupiter in Taurusexact at 7:31am EDT)

Monday after 1:55pm EDT, is the best time to start setting our New Moon/Solar Eclipse Intentions. As mentioned on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 14th), with a Solar Eclipse it is best to wait until 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact before setting any intentions, as the energy of an Eclipse is quite intense, and it’s therefore wise to wait until the energy settles before setting our intentions.

Make your Intentions powerful — after all, they cover the next 5.5 months — and if possible, align them with the Solar Eclipse energies that I spoke about in my most recent videos — you might want to watch them again if you are not sure anymore what they are — click here to watch my videos on the Solar Eclipse

For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here  or  for my article on Solar Eclipse Intentionsclick here

Monday late afternoon, we are invited to make some inner adjustments: we feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice — a choice that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: On the one hand, we have the urge to go deeper and connect with others; on the other hand, we are more aware of triggers and limitations connected to old childhood wounds.

As best as you can, be compassionate and understanding with yourself when feelings of anger come up (and even if shame follows expressions of that anger). Ask yourself: How might 5% more compassion support my relationship with myself and others today? (Moon in Scorpio quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 4:11pm EDT)

Conservation & Moderation

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains exalted all week; the Balsamic Moon phase begins late Tuesday morning; Pluto comes to a halt in Capricorn late on Tuesday evening; Mars changes signs from Libra to Scorpio; an Annular Solar Eclipse in Libra becomes exact on Saturday afternoon.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for 2.5 hours), Thursday afternoon (for a little over 4 hours), and Sunday very early morning (for 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 9th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness …

Monday morning, things flow nicely, and we feel excited about new healing modalities. There’s an opportunity here to be compassionate toward ourselves and others and to connect to our inner child. As best as you can, have fun when connecting with others, bring a healing quality to the table by tapping into your inner joy, explore things on a holistic level, and take a risk. (Moon in Leo trines Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:13am EDT)

Monday afternoon, we may feel pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a need to connect with our inner child (creative self-expression and joy), and on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.

As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); as best as you can, make adjustments, and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. (Moon in Leo squares Uranus in Taurusexact at 4:36pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we may want to have some fun but may also need to tune in to our intuitive inner voice. What do you hear when you get really quiet? (Moon in Leo quincunxes Neptune in Pisces, exact at 11:21pm EDT)

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a Venus/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 2:11am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last Friday evening (Oct. 6th) on; it will remain strong until this Friday morning (Oct. 13th). This might be a time of relationship tests or trials: we may not be attracting the things and people that we want in our lives — at least, not as easily as we were before this transit.

This can be eye-opening — a signal to work on improving the “ways” (as well as the “things”) that we bring to partnerships or to our finances. Doubts could be raised now. We may feel isolated and definitely more introverted. But what’s really required is that we slow things down and be as realistic as we can possibly be.

We could be withdrawing or holding back a little as we attempt to figure out what we want and need.

We are working towards ridding ourselves of self-delusion when it comes to partnerships, socializing, and finances. In the process, we might feel disdain for inauthentic interactions and resent “going through the motions” on a social and/or mental level.

Our goal here is to make more connections aligned with our own spiritual truth. Relationships built on weak foundations may not survive, but stronger ones can be improved and strengthened.

Financial matters might be stressful for the time being; this forces us into a position of conservation and moderation. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this — and on an external level with others.

Ask yourself: What is asking to be improved? Where do I need to focus? How might being present and patient support me and others? If doubts arise, could I refrain from overthinking things and stay connected to my intuition and heart energies?

Think back to January of this year, when Venus was conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. With Venus opposing Saturn now, we can start to see the fruits of the seeds that were planted back then. So: What were the seeds then? What are the fruits now?

In other words: What has emerged since January in regards to who and what you value? We are also now more aware of what we have (and haven’t) learned since then… Do you like what you see? Is there room for more learning and integration? Do the commitments you made then feel both attainable and practical?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-4 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 28-29 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Solar Eclipse in Libra — the article 2023

On Oct. 14th at 1:55pm EDT, a Solar Eclipse becomes exact at 21 degrees of Libra  —  you may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video.

48 hours before and after an Eclipse, we are experiencing heavy energetic downloads, so it’s best to wait to set Solar Eclipse Intentions until after these intense downloads are over.

Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that take place approximately every six months — this is the second Solar Eclipse in 2023 (in this particular Eclipse cycle that will be in effect until March 2025). The first Solar Eclipse of 2023 took place in Aries on April 20th.

Think back to late April and see what seeds got planted in your life in connection with the last Solar Eclipse. Did you set Solar Eclipse Intentions on April 22nd or 23rd? Did something end or begin at that time? What have you discovered about your physical vitality and self-identity?

This Eclipse is an Annular Solar Eclipse; these occur when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth while the Moon is at or near its farthest point from Earth. Because of the distance to the Earth, it appears smaller than the Sun and does not entirely cover the Sun. As a result, the Moon appears as a dark disk on top of a larger, bright disk, creating what looks like a ring of light around the Moon.

This Eclipse will be most visible in parts of the United States (mainly Oregon, Northern California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas), Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America.

Everyone in the U.S. will see a partial Solar Eclipse, with those farther West seeing a much more significant chunk taken out of the Sun.

No matter where you are on the planet, however, the effects of the Eclipse will be transformative globally.

We also addressed Eclipse Season and the Solar Eclipse in Libra in more detail in our webinar: “Eclipse Season & Pluto Station”.  If you missed this fantastic online event ==> click here to get this fabulous 1hour 45 min. webinar

The Sun and Moon are connected to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse, alternating between North and South Node Eclipses, emphasizing the evolutionary upgrades available to us during such times.

This is the first South Node Solar Eclipse in Libra since the Moon Nodes moved into the Aries-Libra polarity on July 17th, 2023.

Solar Eclipses, in particular, often correspond to significant endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same degree every 19 years, and the last time we had a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in this particular degree and sign while the South Node was traveling through Libra was on October 14th, 2004.

We will likely experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonance”, not repetition — so think back to the Fall of 2004 and ask yourself: Were there any significant endings and beginnings? What was important to me back then? If I were to take those priorities to the next level, where would that next level find me?

A couple of things to note for this Solar Eclipse chart: the New Moon not only aligns with the South Node but also with Mercury in Libra; it also makes a Quincunx to Uranus in Taurus and an opposition to Chiron & the North Node in Aries.

Pluto in Capricorn has a potent role in this Eclipse chart, as it is exalted (due to its Station phase), and it squares the Moon Nodes and, therefore also the New Moon/Solar Eclipse.

Squares are 90º aspects that mark a turning point that we must take to make progress; they ask us to stretch and grow beyond who we used to be.

These are the major themes of this Solar Eclipse chart, and we will address them in more detail. First, let’s talk a bit more about

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 16-26º of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you may feel the effects of this powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 5.5-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just the next 28 days.

Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. We are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions… We also definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.

The best and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse are between 1:55pm (on Oct. 16th) and 11:44am (on Oct. 17th) and then again from 3:36pm (Oct. 17th) until 1:55pm (on Oct. 18th) — (in US Eastern Daylight Savings Time — i.e. the New York time zone).

Set powerful intentions — again, they cover the next 5.5 months — and if possible, align them with the Libra energy!

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage and/or following me on Twitter, as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions.

For more details on how to set Intentions, click here.

Release or Renegotiate any Lingering Relationship Issues

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains highly exalted all week. On Wednesday, Eclipse Season begins, Mars aligns with the South Node in Libra, and Mercury changes signs from Virgo to Libra. The last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact late Friday morning; Venus exits her post-Shadow phase early Saturday; and last but not least, Venus finally changes signs from Leo to Virgo late Sunday evening.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late evening (for almost 4 hours), Thursday very early morning (for 6 hours), and Saturday afternoon (for a little over 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know that…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 2nd:

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. It will journey there until Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.

In other words: change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing until Monday night? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.

Monday late morning, a Mercury/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 11:34am EDT. We have been feeling this aspect build since Saturday evening (Sept. 30th); it will remain strong until Wednesday morning (Oct. 4th). This aspect is asking us to balance logic and intuition (left vs. right brain).

On the one hand, we have strong intuitive connections… on the other, the struggle to focus could lead to confusion or wishful thinking.

Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed? Do I get easily distracted? Do I zone out? If the answer to any of those is “yes”, as best as you can, center yourself in the here and now. Allow yourself to be present, listen to what’s inside of you (beyond the mind), and trust your intuitive Self.

We are more inclined to daydream, fantasize, and imagine things; this can lead to some frustrating communications. As best as you can, use this aspect to create spiritual connections — or something beautiful, imaginative, or inspiring to others.

Ask yourself: Could I simply tune in for a moment and see if I need to take a break (or at least slow down a little)? Could I be 5% more compassionate and kind to myself and others?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday late evening, at 9:20pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts for almost 4 hours, until 1:03am EDT (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to empower each other in regard to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening until Tuesday very early morning ahead of time.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, at 1:03am EDT, the Moon enters chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Thursday morning.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 25th:

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday evening.

Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Monday morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact (for the third time) at 8:10am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday (Sept. 22nd) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday (Sept. 27th). Due to Mercury’s recent Retrograde phase, this aspect has been exact twice before; once on Aug. 9th, then again on Sept. 4th.

Think back to those dates: What down-to-earth conversation(s) most helped you organize yourself and maybe got you exploring practical mental and physical health applications? What are you ready to experiment with?

During this time, we are more optimistic. We see the bigger picture, communicate more positively, and readily inspire others.

We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease reconnecting with people from all walks of life. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, spiritual practices, and other countries.

Ask yourself: What could I learn about my daily work or health routines or my values and talents that would expand my horizons? What might support a more abundant approach to my daily life?

Optimism plays a big role here as well. Ask yourself: What could I take care of at this time that is in service to my physical & mental well-being and my bank account?

With this aspect, we can also gain a new perspective or philosophy around decluttering, healthcare, healing, and self-growth. Once we understand the inseparability of body & mind, healing & wholeness, we can improve our health, and our relationship with our body-mind will shift.

Ask yourself: When I start to feel a sense of separation within myself, with my body, or with others, could I then experiment with refraining from criticism towards myself, my body, or others just for one day?

What does “wholeness” mean to me? How can my mind support my body and vice versa? How could optimistic thoughts help me have a healthy relationship to myself? How about around my self-worth? My body? Talents? Finances?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-18 degrees of Virgo, Taurus, or Capricorn? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Monday evening, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space either for connections with like-minded people and involvement in a cause or for exploring your values and expanding your perspectives around financial issues or the physical enjoyment of life. (Moon in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Taurus, exact at 7:49pm EDT)

Monday late evening, requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the need to connect to like-minded people about our future visions — and on the other hand, the need to nurture ourselves and stay in touch with our feeling body, sharing in a loving, nurturing way. (Moon in Aquarius quincunxes Mercury in Virgoexact at 9:02pm EDT)

We are going to enter ECLIPSE SEASON on October 4th! This is a time of uncertainty and change. A time that invites us to allow for a consciousness upgrade. On Friday this week, you will get a chance to take a look at your own birth chart to see how this might impact you personally.

You can also ask a question in connection with this planetary movement in advance. Once registered, you can email me between now and Sept. 29th at 3pm EDT! I will answer questions in the order they were received.

Super Full Moon in Aries — the article

On Sept. 29th, at 5:58am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 6 degrees of Aries — the Moon’s entry into Aries on Thursday evening (Sept. 28th) starts the build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

The Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries makes an opposition to the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra. If you are a site Member, you may also want to watch my video on the subject.

Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored. This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — since it is the last of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

This is also the first lunation since the Moon Nodes have moved into the Aries-Libra polarity, so it’s a good preview for this Eclipse Season.

We will enter Eclipse season on Oct. 4th => Save yourself a spot for my Zoom webinar on the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Libra, live on Friday, Sept. 29th at 5pm EDT! For more info & to register for this fabulous 2-hour Zoom event, click here
**EARLY BIRD Pricing available until Sept. 27th at midnight EDT!

Pluto is exalted due to its Station phase at the time of the Full Moon. It is preparing to halt and end its 5-month Retrograde phase on October 10th (4 days before the Solar Eclipse becomes exact).

Pluto in Capricorn will become more and more exalted the closer we get to Oct. 10th. More about this in a moment… but first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity, in this case, the Aries/Libra polarity.

This polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Super Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles.

In particular, it brings our focus to “independence”, so ask yourself: Where do I need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Less? Where have I been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited? Or perhaps simply accepted for what they are?

This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask: Where have these energies gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?

Aries symbolizes our requirement to be free to explore and express ourselves; Libra, on the other hand, represents our desire to feel connected and see both sides of the coin by looking at contrast and comparison.

The higher vibrations of Aries include…

All of this is especially true for those of us with personal planets or points in 4-8 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn. Personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars; personal points are the Ascendent or MC (aka Career Point).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 18th:

Monday at 12:58am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities”

==> For more about this powerful Moon placement, see last night’s section (Sunday, Sept. 17th.)

On Monday, Pluto (the modern ruler of Scorpio) starts to slow down (i.e. station) again in Capricorn, preparing to come to a halt on Oct. 10th after its 5-month Retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted for the next 6 weeks, until Oct. 31st.

When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 31st).

Pluto is associated with our Soul Purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within through the experience of wholeness — and to our deepest passions.

It is also associated with transformation, for example, our ability to transform darkness into light or “death” into “rebirth”. Those terms don’t necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new — something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.

When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity — and feel a newness and empowerment from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 6 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul’s purpose (your deep authentic Self).

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on out of fear? What habits, behaviors, or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel?

When we confront our fears, we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths; use this time to see what’s in the way of creating deeper, more empowering emotional connections to your long-term goals, especially if you are feeling a disconnect with the current ones.

Ask yourself: What would I like to build out there in the world and leave behind as a legacy? Am I ready to make choices that are not based on “shoulds”? What would that look like? What feels emotionally authentic and empowering to me? To others? To society? What is realistic?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Libra, or 0 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio).

Monday early morning, we are likely to experience a sense of ease and flow, but may need to adopt a mature approach when dealing with our feelings — although a gentle approach might still be the best. We feel focused and can be very persistent in spiritual or creative endeavors.

We are invited to look at the long-term impact of how we connect to life and its flow and need to slow down and take our time if we are to manifest something that can serve us in the long run — rushing things will most likely backfire right now. Connecting from an intuitive pace, trusting the process, and going with the flow are all crucial here! (the Moon in Scorpio trines Saturn in Pisces, exact at 5:19am EDT)

Monday early evening, we have an opportunity to connect with others on an authentic level. This also provides an opportunity to think about the details that go into our daily routines and develop clarity around them. Finally, it’s also an opportune time to talk about things that could improve our well-being — this could include health issues or concerns or simply looking at our nutrition and what empowers us on a physical and emotional level.

What might become possible if you let yourself trust others 5% more? What if you used that atmosphere of trust to share practical advice? Or discussed your physical and emotional health and well-being? (the Moon in Scorpio sextiles Mercury in Virgo, exact at 5:52pm EDT)

September 11th – 17th

Originality & Innovation

This week’s headline items: Jupiter & Mercury remain exalted all week; Mercury’s Station intensifies on Tuesday; Uranus ends its Station phase on Wednesday (although it stays retrograde); the New Moon in Virgo becomes exact late on Thursday evening; on Friday afternoon, Mercury comes to a halt in Virgo (ending its 3-week Retrograde), starting its post-Shadow phase; finally, Venus ends her Station phase on Saturday (getting back to her regular speed while moving direct).

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for a little over 14 hours), Friday late morning (for almost 4 hours), and Sunday late evening (for almost 4 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 11th:

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness …

Monday afternoon, we are invited to connect with others (and with yourself) on an authentic, playful level. Could you permit yourself to get in touch with your inner child — and enjoy the creative flow within? (the Moon conjuncts Venus in Leo, exact at 3:32pm EDT)

Monday evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 6:40pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday evening (Sept. 10th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (Sept. 12th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward, and must make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us “hiding out”, which leaves us feeling strangely guilty, which leads to us saying weird things — and we end up thinking, “did I really just do that?”

As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).

Also, on Monday evening, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

Make space either for your inner child, for creative self-expression & fun, or for exploring your values and expanding your perspectives around financial issues or the physical enjoyment of life. (the Moon in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus, exact at 7:54pm EDT)
