Now, back to the New Moon:

The Heart of This Lunation

The New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio brings our focus to our intimate relationships and deepest emotional desires and fears. If you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject.

A Shift in Energy: Pluto and Jupiter

Pluto’s out of bounds movement ends one day before the New Moon becomes exact (on Nov. 19th) Yay! Feel free to watch my powerful webinar on the subject. Click here for more info!

Jupiter in Cancer is still stationing at the time of the New Moon and remains exalted until Nov. 23rd, asking us to take a look at our beliefs and perspectives/attitudes in connection with self-care, and our emotional sense of safety.

Neptune and Uranus: Revisiting Old Lessons

Neptune and Uranus will both be in an exalted degree(29º) at the time of the New Moon — both planets having retrograded back into their previous signs for the time being.

When a planet retrogrades back into a previous sign, it provides another chance to complete the lessons of that sign before moving into the next phase.

The last degree of a sign represents a desire to wrap things up anything that got started when the planet entered 0º of that same sign.

Neptune entered 0º of Pisces in April 2011 & Feb 2012, and reached the 29th degree for the first time in March of this year (4th-30th). This time around it will remain in 29º until Jan. 26th, 2026.

Think back to March 4th-30th and ask yourself: What “heart blocks” have cleared? What have I learned about interconnectivity? Trust? Intuition? Compassion? Energetic connections? What remains to be released? What could I feel my way into?

The clearer our connection to the universal heart and our intuitive knowing, and the healthier our relationship to the metaphysical plane, the more skillfully we will deal with the next phase, when Neptune moves into Aries in late January 2026.

Uranus entered 0º of Taurus in mid May 2018, and reached the 29th degree for the first time in mid June until July 7th of this year. This time around it will remain in 29º until Dec. 1st, and then again in April of 2026 (5th-25th).

Think back to mid June until July 7th and ask yourself: What have I been able to resolve on the physical plane? Or perhaps regarding my body? My finances? My personal resources, such as talents? How I value myself? Where my sense of worth originates? What remains to be looked at or dealt with?

The clearer our core values and the healthier our relationship to the physical plane, the more skillfully we will deal with the next phase, when Uranus moves into Gemini in late April 2026.

Key Aspects in the New Moon Chart

The New Moon closely aligns with a retrograde Mercury in Scorpio, giving us the signal to go within and process thoughts or information before moving forward.

The New Moon and the retrograde Mercury in Scorpio are part of a Grand Water Trine with an exalted Jupiter in Cancer, and Saturn & Neptune in Pisces, asking us to be methodical and realistic when connecting with others intimately — and it gives us a chance to release any narratives related to traumas from the past and fears that keep us stuck or disconnected from others.

Retrograde Mercury and the New Moon also oppose Uranus in Taurus — the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, and innovation.

This could create some anxiousness or a feeling of uncertainty. Focusing on what we want to create, rather than focusing on what we can’t predict, is key!

Pluto in Aquarius plays a crucial role: it is not only the modern ruler of Scorpio, but it is also still part of a Minor Triangle involving Uranus and Neptune; this remind us that spiritual practice isn’t a luxury; it’s essential.

Quiet time, reflection, and connection to our inner compass allow us to align with the vibration of the new world unfolding.

— Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) currently in Sagittarius squaring the Moon Nodes in Pisces-Virgo, advises us that in order to do things differently, we need to be able to see things differently, and share our assumptions, attitudes and perspectives with others, as well as ask questions.

As you can see, there is a lot going on this month, yet again. More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Water element and Scorpio

The Power of Water and the Scorpio Journey

With 7 of the 10 planets in Water signs, in addition to the North Node in Pisces, this New Moon calls us inward, to reflect and pay close attention to our feelings, our motives, and our projections.

Are we acting from love or reacting from fear? What needs to be purged? What could be healed? What strengthens our inner light?

As the second Water sign, Scorpio seeks to experience the full range of human emotion, including those we tend to hide or suppress — our anger and aversions, jealousy and resentments, grief and depression.

Scorpio also explores the depths of intimacy and the dynamics of power, learning that “truth is the most powerful aphrodisiac” and that real power comes from healing our wounding and integrating our shadow.

Scorpio relates not only to the depths of our own psyche, but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships.

Working with Shadow and Projection

Scorpio is also the sign most associated with the dark: the taboo, the subconscious, the unknown.

Our Shadow holds not only our fears, unresolved trauma, and less desirable qualities, but anything that has been repressed, including our: power, intuition, and other gifts.

Ask yourself: How might surrender, trust in a higher power, and letting go of resentment & fear give me a better understanding of peace, authentic connection, and inner strength?

Scorpio is associated with three images: the Scorpion (a solitary creature symbolizing self-protection and instinctive desire), the Eagle (who has a wider awareness and more conscious control over its desires), and the Dove (who has transcended personal desire, and brings peace and healing to others).

Ask yourself: What gifts might lie concealed behind my deepest fears? What if moving closer to what scares me the most, led not to a death of any kind, but always and only led to transformation?

Scorpio also deals with our Shadow issues. The “Shadow” is all the suppressed, denied, or undeveloped qualities of our personality. Unprocessed Shadow material pushes our buttons and makes us vulnerable to control and manipulation.

Suppression and denial, projection and blame keep us stuck; conscious awareness shows us the way out. Healing happens when we bring light to the dark, becoming conscious of what had been stored in the basement of our psyche.

Ask yourself: What treasures might be hidden in my personal Shadow? What personal alchemy would transmute that shadow into gold?

Noticing our own desires, fears, or sense of humor is important, because the Shadow also makes itself visible through those…

So, what Shadow issues need to be addressed over the next four weeks? Here are some questions to help you reclaim your projections: Who really bothers me “out there in the world”? Who do I love to hate? What specifically bothers me about them? Might some version of that apply to me?

Some other shadow-work questions: Who do I admire and why? What scares me most about myself? What recurring, uncomfortable, or scary dreams (or daydreams) do I have? What do I love to joke about that feels a little “edgy”?

Now, let’s talk about some of the planetary aspects in this New Moon chart…

Mercury Retrograde and the Grand Water Trine

Mercury and the Stories We Tell

The New Moon aligns with a retrograde Mercury in Scorpio. This brings a heightened mental focus toward our deepest desires and motivations that stir us in the direction of going after those desires. We feel quite focused, maybe even obsessed with a goal or endeavor.

Ask yourself: what motivates my behaviors? Where am I driven by fear or self-protection? Where do I follow destructive patterns that keep showing up in my intimate relationships or financial partnerships? If I don’t show these patterns myself, do people show up who do?

Due to Mercury’s Retrograde phase we have already covered this territory in late October (at the time of the last New Moon). We have been looking at narratives related to traumas from the past and fears that keep us stuck or disconnected from others.

Ask yourself again: What stories got between me and a fully empowered, passionate life? Am I now ready to release them as best I can?

What feels in alignment with my own inner truth, when I allow myself to let go of my fears and open my heart?

The New Moon-Mercury alignment is part of a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter in Cancer, Neptune and Saturn in Pisces, as well as an exact Opposition to Uranus in Taurus— the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, and innovation.

Let’s start with the Grand Water Trine:

Saturn in Pisces asks us to eliminate anything that keeps us disconnected from our intuitive nature and the natural flow of life.

Neptune in Pisces asks us to trust our intuitive knowing and be gentle, kind and compassionate with ourselves and others.

Jupiter in Cancer asks us to discover new perspectives and ways of looking at our emotional conditioning from our childhood, and how safe we feel with loved ones, as well as be vulnerable and receive their support.

This Grand Water Trine gives us a chance to release any narratives related to traumas from the past and fears that keep us stuck or disconnected from others. It support honest communication, recognizing the real issues, and making peace with the past.

Ask yourself: What stories have kept me from living a fully empowered and passionate life? Am I now ready to release them as best I can?

With this combo, it is easier to let go of fears and attachments. We are more able to have faith that everything will turn out for the highest and best interest of everyone involved.

Ask yourself: What might shift if I trusted the timing of everything currently unfolding? What if acceptance of “what is” was key to manifesting my goals?

Connecting from an intuitive place, trusting the process, and going with the flow are all crucial here!

Ask yourself: What if I could recognize any subconscious tendency to see myself as a victim of circumstances — or the actions of others? If I took 5% more responsibility during these situations, would it help own the outcome? Or maybe even alter it?

What would it look like to know myself or others more deeply? And to realize my interconnectivity with the whole Universe?

Opposition to Uranus in Taurus: Freedom and Disruption

Uranus retrograded back into Taurus on Nov. 7th, where it remains until fully moving into Gemini on April 25, 2026. On both personal and collective levels, when a planet is at the last degree of a sign (29º), there can be a sense of urgency and finality, a need to “get it right,” to remedy mistakes and do things correctly.

Since Uranus entered Taurus on May 15, 2018, it has illuminated where we need to resolve social and generational issues around materialism and mechanization, scarcity and survival, shame and self worth.

Uranus is the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, and innovation.

In Taurus, this urges us to let go of traditional values and focus on a better financial future for everyone involved. As well as shifting our relationship to our planet.

With this Opposition, we might experience some sudden and unexpected shifts in our thinking over the next four weeks.

Ask yourself: Where is my life being disrupted by “divine intervention”? What insights might those interventions hold for me?

We are invited to examine narratives we have about money, power, and resources (personal and shared). We may feel restless and impatient; we can be very demanding and difficult to please.

We tend to feel like progress is too slow, and we are tired of waiting. Ask yourself: How could I channel this “choppy” energy constructively? Or at least just burn it off?

We might also feel nervous or anxious as we become aware of what’s not working for us anymore (financially, physically, or emotionally) — and the itch to move forward and realize a new vision for ourselves feels very strong.

Maybe something needs to change… but we must take care not to rush into anything.

Ask yourself: How might staying calm in the face of uncertainty support my sanity? How might staying flexible benefit me?

What needs more space? How might thinking outside the box support my connections with others? Where do I need to take a new approach in my interactions?

This could create some anxiousness or a feeling of uncertainty. Focusing on what we want to create, rather than on what we can’t predict, is key!

Ask yourself: How can I balance my need for a deeper, more empowered experience with others, against my wish to honor my personal values and desire for freedom?

Do your best to channel this “choppy” energy in a productive way…

Pluto in Aquarius: Empowerment for the Future

Pluto plays a crucial role: it is not only the modern ruler of Scorpio, but it is also still part of a Minor Triangle, which remind us that spiritual practice isn’t a luxury; it’s essential.

Quiet time, reflection, and connection to our inner compass allow us to align with the vibration of the new world unfolding.

The longer the orbit, the deeper the process of change a planet symbolizes. Pluto takes 248 years to circle the Sun and spends about 20 years in each sign, versus Mars, which has a two year orbit and spends roughly 6 weeks in each sign.

While in Aquarius, Pluto invites us to reclaim our power, to be emotionally authentic when collaborating with others, community-driven, and aligned with what feels the most empowering to our and everyone else’s future — and bring this empowered vision to the world at large.

On a collective level, Pluto in Aquarius impels the transformation of communities, affiliations, groups of like-minded people, as well as major shifts in how we relate to a shared vision of the future.

Ask yourself: What’s my vision for humanity? Do I envision a future with enough space for all of us to be who we are? Or one where people condemn and judge each other for being different and unique? What role does fear play in all of this?

“Fear in the absence of real danger can endanger our mental and emotional health.” — LeAura Alderson (see her Acronym for FEAR and Spread the Love.)

And let’s keep in mind that impatience can be a form of fear as well: it can cover the fear of not moving fast enough or things not unfolding on time.

When we waste precious time dwelling on what may or may not come to pass, and on things we cannot control or change, we will inevitably feel disempowered.

But when we focus on a future that empowers all humans, on how we can elevate our connections with others, beginning with our own thoughts and behaviors, we will feel a zest for life.

Ask yourself: How might focusing on what I have influence over in the here and now, create an empowered future for myself and others?

Mars in Sagittarius: Courage Through Perspective

Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) currently in Sagittarius squaring the Moon Nodes in Pisces-Virgo, advises us that in order to do things differently, we need to be able to see things differently, and share our assumptions, attitudes and perspectives with others, as well as ask questions.

Ask yourself: What is no longer true, meaningful, or right for me? Where do I need to be more openminded?

When does impatience and wanting to move fast create a more hostile atmosphere? What might happen if I channeled this fast-moving energy into my projects or physical exercise?

The Essence of This New Moon

To sum up, this New Moon reminds us that before we can bring in the new, it is a good idea to offer up the old; in order to move forward, it is best to release what has been holding us back.

Being open to trusting the process and going with the flow are key!

Most of our lives are shaped by fears: too much of something, not enough of something else… not being loved, not being liked, being judged, rejected, some form of loss, maybe even physical death, being the recipient of physical or emotional pain, etc.

Scorpio territory is not easy. Facing our deepest feelings and fears, confronting our demons and our death, is the most difficult work we will ever do. But the rewards it brings — inner peace, freedom, and feeling fully alive — make it all worth it.

This New Moon in Scorpio invites us to let go of whatever is dead (or toxic). Often, this is connected to past disempowerment — fears based either on “what was”, or on a possible future in which we would not be ok — and all this can be scary and stir up the desire for control or to protect ourselves.

The survival brain thinks that control brings power, certainty, and stability… but it’s all an illusion based in fear.

Remember: “Fear” is resistance to life or experiences, whereas “Love” is acceptance of life in all its forms: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Ask yourself: As best as I can, could I acknowledge any self-resistance? Resistance toward others? To life itself?

And, just for right now, could I simply let go of wanting to resist what is? Could I set all inner tension free… just as best as I can… just for right now… just as an exercise in freedom?

The key is to realize that “letting go” is not about loss, but about transformation — and, ultimately, about feeling empowered, since every ending is also a new beginning.

Trust also plays a big part here, just as it does in all our intimate relationships and authentic connections — and trust, whether in ourselves or with others, is something that develops over time — and for those of us who have experienced traumatic events or circumstances, this process can take a little longer.

So, as best as you can, be patient and kind with yourself, if you are in that category.

Ask yourself: What if true intimacy were only possible when I allow for the full range of emotions? What if my capacity for love and joy grew directly in relation to my ability to embrace my fears and pain?

Intention Setting

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 1:47am on Nov. 20th, and 1:47am on Nov. 22nd. Except for a 62-minute Moon void of course on Nov. 20th from 4:24am until 5:26am — all of the above-mentioned times are in the New York Time zone/US Eastern Time.

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter (“X”). I will be posting reminders on Nov. 20th, 21st, and 22nd to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

New Moon in Libra — the article

A Call to Transform Through Connection

On Oct. 21st at 8:25am EDT, a New Moon becomes exact at almost 28.5 degrees of Libra  —  you may also want to watch my New Moon video.

Are you feeling unusually focused, driven — and yet tired, reactive, or emotional?

That’s no surprise. Pluto’s station phase and “out-of-bounds” movement are at their peak, amplifying intensity until Oct. 24th. Our Souls are craving transformation. We’re being asked to release outdated programming and recalibrate to higher frequencies — an evolutionary nudge from the cosmos itself.

With the Sun and Moon in Libra, and Venus — Libra’s ruler — in her own sign, all three forming aspects to a highly exalted Pluto in Aquarius, this New Moon carries deep potency. It calls us to let go of long-standing patterns in our relationships, collaborations, and connections — especially those that stifle authenticity, growth, or Soul intention.

If you’d like to explore Pluto’s current intensity in greater depth, get & watch my webinar “Exalted & Out of Bounds — Pluto at its Most Intense”

The Larger Picture: Three Major Configurations

The New Moon chart reveals three key energetic patterns shaping this moment:

  1. A Grand Water Trine
  2. A T-Square
  3. A Minor Triangle

Each holds unique lessons and invitations for our evolution.

The T-Square: Stretching Toward Authentic Safety

The T-Square involves Jupiter in Cancer as the focal point, forming challenging squares to both the New Moon in Libra and Chiron in Aries.

Squares mark turning points — moments when we must grow beyond who we’ve been. With Jupiter at the center, we may feel impatient, reactive, or overextended. It’s easy to overpromise or push past our natural limits right now, but what’s truly called for is realism and self-compassion.

We are profoundly shaped by the conditioning we receive from birth — family, culture, religion, nation, education. To individuate and heal, we must summon courage to live from our authentic essence rather than our conditioned persona.

This T-Square reminds us that even our sense of safety is influenced by social and familial programming. A new perspective on what feels “right” or “true” is essential for relating authentically — including our tender spots and sensitivities.

Coaching reflections:

  • Are my current needs and beliefs a reflection of my highest truth?
  • What attitudes or beliefs could I release that no longer serve my growth and healing?
  • What if my sense of safety wasn’t determined by others’ ideas — or even my own old stories?
  • Could I nurture my “inner baby” and allow myself to feel vulnerable and safe at the same time?

With Capricorn as the “empty leg” of this configuration, the healing comes through mature self-parenting — setting healthy boundaries, offering structure, and staying grounded even in moments of vulnerability.

More questions to explore:

  • Where am I on my journey toward greater self-acceptance?
  • What boundaries could help me feel safe while being open?
  • Could I slow my pace just a little — and honor where I am, one day at a time?

The Grand Water Trine: Emotional Integration & Grace

This harmonious alignment between Mercury–Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Cancer, and Saturn in Pisces supports deep emotional healing and intuitive flow.

It invites us to follow inner guidance, to rest when needed, and to soften toward past experiences or traumas. The energy encourages release — particularly from old emotional attachments — helping us trust the unfolding process and stretch gently beyond our comfort zones.

Coaching reflections:

  • Could I slow down and notice what’s truly happening inside and around me?
  • Could I allow life to “be” exactly as it is — and exactly as it isn’t?
  • Could I trust that everyone, including myself, is exactly where they need to be?
  • How might forgiveness and open-heartedness deepen this process?

Mercury’s role adds a mental clarity that helps us rewrite the stories we tell about pain or fear.

Ask yourself:

  • What stories have kept me from living a fully empowered and passionate life?
  • Am I ready to release them, even a little?
  • What might shift if I trusted the timing of everything currently unfolding?

The Minor Triangle: New Consciousness Emerging

This configuration — Neptune in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius, and Uranus in Gemini — is composed of outer planets that reflect the Soul’s collective evolution. All are in early degrees of their signs, symbolizing new territory and the birth of innovative social consciousness.

We’re being called to act from conviction and courage — to be bold yet discerning. The inner critic must rest while our higher self steps forward.

These energies remind us that spiritual practice isn’t a luxury; it’s essential. Quiet time, reflection, and connection to our inner compass allow us to align with the vibration of the new world unfolding.

Coaching reflections:

  • Where can I apply myself in a purer, more loving way?
  • What might become possible if I acted with my heart wide open?
  • How can I elevate my thinking — allowing my mind and connections to vibrate at a higher frequency?

Neptune’s Return to Pisces: A Full-Circle Journey

Within 24 hours of the New Moon, Neptune retrogrades back into 29° Pisces, an exalted degree, completing a journey begun in 2011–2012 when it first entered this sign.

This marks a moment of spiritual completion. We’re asked to remember that everything — even dense matter — is energy. Everything is interconnected.

Coaching reflections:

  • If everything is energy, might it make sense to be fully conscious of how I treat everyone and everything — including myself?
  • How might mindfulness or meditation support this awareness in daily life?
  • Could my thoughts and behaviors influence the collective field we all share?

Pluto’s Aspects: Transformation Through Relating

Pluto forms an out-of-sign Square to the New Moon and a Trine to Venus in Libra.

The Square pushes us to evolve through our relationships — to confront fears, own our shadow, and make space for rebirth. The Trine, meanwhile, brings magnetic new connections or deepened bonds that transform us through love and truth.

Coaching reflections:

  • Where am I ready to release a pattern, fear, or attachment that keeps me small?
  • What kind of new beginning could emerge once I make space for trust, empowerment, and higher alignment?
  • Where am I being asked to surrender control — and trust the universal process?

Integration: Becoming Whole Through “The Other”

As the seventh sign of the zodiac, Libra marks a turning point in our evolution — from personal identity to interpersonal balance.

Whatever remains unintegrated from the first six signs now shows up in our relationships. Others mirror our inner dynamics, inviting us toward wholeness.

Ask yourself:

  • What if harmony and peace were mine to create within me first?

Each moment offers choice. We can fall into regret or blame — or we can choose differently next time. Each breath is a new beginning, each interaction a new possibility for awareness and alignment.

Intention Setting: Working with the Energy

This New Moon is an excellent time to set intentions for the lunar cycle. The optimal window opens between 11:42am on Tuesday (Oct. 21st) and 8:25am on Thursday (Oct. 23rd), once the Moon leaves its brief void-of-course phase.

If time zone conversions aren’t your thing, follow me on Facebook or Instagram for reminders when the window opens.

==> For a full guide on how to set your New Moon Intentions, click here

Special note: If your Ascendant or personal planets fall between 26–29° of Libra, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn, or 0–1° of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius, you’ll likely feel this lunation most strongly. The same applies if your Sun or Ascendant is in Leo or Cancer.

Closing Thought

This New Moon in Libra reminds us that transformation doesn’t require force — only awareness and willingness. When we honor vulnerability, authenticity, and connection, we align with the Soul’s desire to evolve through love.

October 13th – 19th

Be Alert For Undue Optimism

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains highly exalted and out of bounds all week; on Monday afternoon, a last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact, ending Eclipse Season! Yay! Venus changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Monday, early evening, and Pluto comes to a halt later Monday evening — ending its annual Retrograde phase. The Balsamic Moon phase begins on Friday morning; Mars trines the North Node in Pisces on Saturday morning, and Mercury will do the same on Sunday early morning.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for a little over 5.5 hours), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for 13 hour), and Saturday late afternoon/early evening (for almost 7 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

I made an important announcement the week before last about the new direction I’ll be taking with my business — including my decision to put the Membership program on hold ==> Please watch this brief video OR read the audio transcript below the video to understand what’s changing and how you can stay connected moving forward.

I’m deeply grateful for each of you and for everything we’ve shared through this community. If you have any questions or need help with next steps, please reach out — via text, email, or phone

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 13th

Monday is quite an eventful day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning.

With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say, and our feelings are thus more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others.

Self-care is key for the next two days! Emotional safety is also important to us; we like connecting to the familiar and enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance.

Make sure, though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, or you might start to feel drained and resentful.

This Moon placement also started the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on later this afternoon).

Monday at 2:13pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 20.5° of Cancer becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build the moment the Moon entered Cancer on Sunday very early morning. The Moon in protective, nurturing Cancer makes a challenging aspect to the Sun harmony-oriented, idealistic Libra.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. This Moon phase brings us closer to Oct. 21st, which will bring a New Moon in Libra.

Eclipse season now is over, however the last New Moon was a Solar Eclipse, so with this last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at our Solar Eclipse Intentions one more time and see if they are still a good fit.

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-22 degrees of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, or Aries? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Monday at 5:19pm EDT, Venus changes signs from detail-oriented, practical Virgo and moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra. She will journey through that sign until Nov. 6th.

With this placement, we prefer to show kindness, even-handedness, and a willingness to make our relationships work.

We value our relationships at this time, and we prefer entering into equal partnerships. Until Nov. 6th, we can develop an idealized view of what a relationship “should” look like.

We do our best to treat others fairly for the next three and a half weeks, seeking the middle ground.

We are more likely to appreciate the arts, dance, beauty, collaborative projects, and celebrations of love (weddings, relationship anniversaries, declarations of love, marriage proposals, etc.).

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you will feel more connected to your inner harmony for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to others in an equal setting. If you are a Libra Sun- or Rising sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.

Monday late evening, a Venus/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 9:16pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday morning (Oct. 11th) on; it will remain strong until Thursday morning (Oct. 16th). We are ready to dissolve anything we valued in the past that no longer serves us or humanity.

Our relationships might feel confusing or disappointing; they might even be some of the things “dissolving” — but this is helping us get more connected with our inner knowingness or sense of what feels “right”. Compassion may play a significant role in our interactions.

Ask yourself: What is in alignment with my higher Self? Can I find a way to connect what I value in my relationships with who I need to be to inspire others? Could I be open to the idea that everyone has infinite potential and the Soul is just waiting for us to live out this potential? Where might “pleasing others” and “continuous harmony” be overrated?

This might not be the best time to start a new relationship, as we tend to idealize others, leading to disappointment. As best as you can, find your inner balance with what’s real and what’s not… and allow others to be human, limitations and all.

Financially, we may want to invest in creative or spiritual endeavors that include others, but hold off on buying anything concrete or practical until after Oct. 16th

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn, or 27-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday at 10:54pm EDTPluto halts at 1º22′ of Aquarius, going direct, after completing its 5-month Retrograde phase (May 4th – Oct. 13th). Pluto’s energy will continue to move more slowly until Oct. 28th.

When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up again (around Oct. 28th).

During the Retrograde phase, we had a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within.

Pluto is associated with our Soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment — our ability to feel empowered from within — and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what truly motivates us.

For the last 5 months, we’ve needed to tap into inner authenticity, embracing all of ourselves: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We can now bring this inner authenticity to the outer world and are ready to let go of any habits, behaviors, or fears holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.

Whatever we have intuitively learned about our inner passion, strength, and Soul’s purpose, we are now ready to bring that knowledge to the outside world. This deeper connection is going to serve us on our journey towards authenticity.

We can establish connections with like-minded people that align with our soul’s purpose and lead us into a future that empowers ourselves and our communities. Ask yourself: What do I “just know” deep down?

==> If you want to dive deeper into Pluto’s current movement and what this might mean for you and for humanity, watch my 99 min. webinar titled: “Exalted & Out of Bounds — Pluto at its Most Intense”.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, Aries, or 0-1 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:05am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 5.5 hours, until 6:47am EDT (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time to focus on spiritual/intuitive experiences or creative endeavors and to lend loving and nurturing support to others.

As best as you can, focus on the here and now, and release anything that feels outdated or stuck in the past.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. If you are awake, you may also want to plan Monday night until Tuesday morning ahead of time.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 6th

Monday is quite the day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey there until Tuesday night. Life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and enthusiastic about new projects.

Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act promptly. Our independence and dynamism are important to us, so we may struggle to be disciplined or accept advice.

In general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

This Moon placement also started the build-up towards the Super Full Moon in Aries (exact later this evening) ==> If you are a Member of my online community, feel free to watch my video on the subject, or read my “Super Full Moon in Aries” article

Monday at 12:41pm EDT,  Mercury changes signs from harmony-seeking Libra to passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Oct. 29th. During those 3 weeks, we can focus on what’s most important to us on a deep emotional level.

We can get to the very heart of any matter at this time (especially through conversation). We are more passionate about giving valid advice or support. We are not satisfied with superficial connections right now — it’s all or nothing.

For that reason, our mental processes could get a little obsessive. Watch out for catastrophic thinking! We may also be more suspicious and expect bad intentions.

It’s a time that favors reading or writing about intrigue, mystery, and hidden motives. Mercury in Scorpio loves anything that challenges the brain, and often finds us more interested in what makes people tick.

This shift into Scorpio also starts a Yod aspect, with Mercury as the Focal point. I discussed this in my Super Full Moon article and will go into more details below (see Tuesday’s forecast).

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need to investigate deeper emotional issues or motives. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty and mentally alert for the next 3 weeks.

Monday evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 6:53pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday evening (Oct. 5th) on; it will remain strong until Tuesday evening (Oct. 7th).

This could contribute to mental confusion and spaciness or the need to communicate with others from an inspirational place (but possibly not knowing how to achieve that).

We may experience inner struggles or find there are adjustments to be made. We may feel confused at times as we are pulled in two very different directions…

On the one hand, tuning into our personal vision, getting excited, and finding the inspiration to take action.

On the other hand, obsessing over what lies beneath the surface (and others’ motivations) and thinking through what feels most empowering to ourselves and others.

We may also contemplate worst-case scenarios in the hope of protecting ourselves from a potentially less-than-ideal future.

Sometimes, imagination and vision can run way ahead of what is feasible (and sensible). At these times, the grand vision is best served by focusing on the next concrete step, accepting our idiosyncrasies as we go.

Honesty is crucial here, especially self-honesty; inner awareness is the key!

What are you sensing? Intuiting? Where do your intimate partnerships not seem to fit with your ideals, dreams, or fantasies?

Where could you learn to understand the deeper connections between things? What needs to be communicated in your collaborations?

Where might you be avoiding some aspect of this? Could you put some space, time, and love around this? What’s clear to you? What looks muddy? Where might you be looking through rose-colored glasses? Where might some of those lenses overlap?

Note that I say “overlap”: Don’t look for an exact fit; this is more like two pieces from different jigsaw puzzles. You might keep looking at the imperfect fit and feel a nagging sense that something doesn’t make sense… And it doesn’t. It can’t. The pieces are not from the same game.

Just do your best to “hang out” with the discomfort this evokes, rather than repeatedly trying to figure it out and fix it.

This Quincunx is part of a Yod aspect, with Mercury as the Focal point. Again, I discussed this in my Super Full Moon article, and will go into more details tomorrow, Tuesday.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-2 degrees of  Scorpio, Aries, or 29 degrees of Libra, or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday at 11:48pm EDTthe Sun in Libra opposes the Moon at 14º of Aries. The Moon’s entry into Aries on Sunday night (Oct. 5/6) began the build-up toward this powerful Super Full Moon.

Super Full Moon in Aries – the article

On October 6th at 11:48pm EDT, the Sun in Libra opposes the Moon at 14º of Aries.

The Moon’s entry into Aries on Sunday night (Oct. 5/6) begins the build-up toward this powerful Super Full Moon.

This lunation spotlights what we need to heal or shift within ourselves in order to experience the peace, harmony, and balance we long for in our lives and relationships.

Before we jump in, I want to share that I have an exciting announcement about the direction I’ll be taking with my business — and what that means for Memberships.

==> Please watch this brief video, to stay informed and make a choice that works best for you!

The Dance of Aries & Libra

The Aries–Libra polarity highlights the ongoing dance between self and other, assertion and cooperation, independence and partnership, masculine and feminine.

The Moon in pioneering Aries opposes the Sun in balance-seeking Libra, reminding us that every Full Moon brings our emotional body to the forefront. Feelings rise, what has been suppressed becomes visible, and the unconscious finds its way into form.

On a subtle level, the Moon connects us with our feminine side, our maternal conditioning, and our capacity to give and receive nourishment. At the Full Moon, what has been in the shadows comes to light — and this one is particularly potent.

Why? Because it is a Super Full Moon — the Moon is closer to the Earth, intensifying tidal pulls, tectonic stresses, and the stirrings of our emotional bodies. And since it follows a Solar Eclipse, we are still in Eclipse Season.

Insights about relationships and partnerships will unfold more clearly after this Full Moon peaks.

The Aries–Libra Polarity

This polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our one-on-one connections. Independence meets interdependence. This Super Full Moon calls us to…

Assumptions and Expectations

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains “out of bounds” (OOB) all week; a first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Monday evening; on Tuesday, Pluto is not only OOB but also starts to slow down (station) again, as it prepares to end its 5-month Retrograde phase; Venus opposes Sept. 7th’s Lunar Eclipse degree on Wednesday evening, and aligns with the South Node in Virgo early Saturday. Pluto’s station intensifies on Saturday, and a Super Full Moon starts to build on Sunday night (exact next week Monday late evening).

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday very early morning (for a little over 4 hours), Wednesday late morning (for almost 4.5 hours), Friday afternoon (for almost 8 hours), and Sunday evening (for a little over 4 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 29th

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 5:55am EDT. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page.

Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just be mindful that you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday at 1:44am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 4 hours, until 5:55am EDT. Use this intuitive time to stretch and grow. Your commitment to spiritual self-mastery, towards being in the present moment, calls you to make some adjustments with the outer world.

Ask yourself: What might be a creative way to stay connected to others and committed to connecting to my intuitive knowing?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.

Monday at 5:55am EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, realistic, and goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this Moon placement supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals.

Our reputation will become very important to us. As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying, “I am doing the best I can, and that’s all I can ever do”

This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact later today, on Monday evening).

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is currently transiting through Pisces, making this a great time to look for practical applications of our dreams, ideologies, connection to Source, or one-consciousness.

It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our spiritual or creative aspirations; as best as you can, be authentic about your intuitive connection to life. What works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to your idealism, addictions, avoidance of life, and dreams?

What about life truly resonates with you — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago? Where in your life is it time to let go of naiveté or an idealistic approach that no longer serves you?

What tools or structures support you with being in the flow, being present, and feeling connected to the Universe in this now-moment? What needs your time and attention? What could you practice every day? What do you genuinely want to commit yourself to?

Again, this Moon placement also starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact later today, on Monday evening).

Monday at 7:54pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 7º of Capricorn becomes exact. We started to feel this build when the Moon entered Capricorn on Monday early morning.

The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in balance-seeking, relationship-oriented Libra.

Last week, on Sept. 21st, we saw a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Virgo. If we set some intentions on Sept. 23rd or 24th, we will be ready to make some adjustments.

This is a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum — in fact, we may feel compelled to act, stirring up anxiety or overwhelm, so just go one breath at a time.

Remember, we’re still in Eclipse Season until Oct. 13th and thus don’t yet have all the information we need to move brand-new projects forward. Allow for changes, remain flexible and adaptable, and find creative solutions in day-to-day interactions with others.

Also, allow for new downloads and the release of “old” codes and conditioning. Simply put, an open mind and heart will serve us best (that’s true in general, but especially true until Eclipse season ends).

Another thing to remember: if something begins or ends in a way that seems organic… allow it to be.

As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the “here and now”. Connect to your intuition and inner wisdom; they will help carry you through this period. We are receiving a consciousness upgrade — that’s a good thing!

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Capricorn, Libra, Aries, or Cancer? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Know When Enough Is Enough

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains “out of bounds” all week; Mars changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Monday early morning; the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra — marking the Autumn Equinox — on Monday afternoon; parts of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: it will be time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions; the early week (Monday through Wednesday) brings many clearly felt planetary movements, while the rest of the week is more focused on faster, more subtle Moon aspects.

There will only be two Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday evening (for a little over 8 hours) and Friday afternoon (for almost 4 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know that…

We had a really wonderful STAR HOUR the other day.
If you miss this free Live Stream event, and are curious about what we covered, click here to watch the replay!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 22nd

Monday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey there until early Wednesday morning (Sept. 24th).

The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating.

Monday at 3:54am EDT, Mars leaves harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra and enters passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until November 4th. The last time we experienced this transit was Oct. 12th until Nov. 24th, 2023.

Think back to that time and ask yourself: What projects were underway? What got initiated? What actions did I take? How can I take things to the next level?

Mars in Libra is constantly striving to bring fairness to the world; Mars in Scorpio knows that life simply isn’t fair. Mars in Libra seeks the middle ground; Mars in Scorpio says, “It’s black or white: Pick one!”

Mars in Scorpio is all about accepting challenges and making changes with concentrated energy and willpower.

For the next 6 weeks, we rely heavily on our gut feelings. We can see through others and could potentially exploit or quietly but formidably oppose them.

We project cool equilibrium — but below the surface may lie another story — in general, we don’t want to show our hand…

We may be attracted to sexual taboos or fantasies in which the “other” surrenders their “body and will” completely — and our sex appeal could perhaps be strong enough to bring that about.

Mars in Scorpio also has a provocative quality to it: We might test ourselves and others. We make all kinds of rules and goals just for the personal satisfaction that comes from achieving or mastering them.

Our survival instincts are stronger; we more easily embrace our own animal nature without guilt.

All this is especially true if you have an Aries or Scorpio Sun- or Rising-sign. Scorpios will feel unusually energized, passionate, and direct — and physically stronger. Aries will feel more intensely connected to others (and to life) over the next 6 weeks …

Monday at 2:19pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from practical Virgo to harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Oct. 22nd. This signifies the beginning of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere of this planet.

The Fall or Autumn Equinox is an energetic turning point from one season to the next. Equinoxes are super potent times for setting intentions. They are energetic gateways that open us to the inter-relationship between light and dark, inner and outer, spirit and matter.

With the Sun entering Libra, we are being called to pay attention to our relationships. Bringing equality, cooperation, and balance to our dealings with the world is recommended during this time. We have a keen awareness of issues concerning justice, and we are more likely to take a stand against injustice, especially when it’s directed against others.

However, we also want to keep the peace, so we may use language and our intellect to address such issues diplomatically. We can see all sides of a situation — and therefore, it’s not always easy to make the “right” choices. Our desire for harmony is great;  more often than not — consciously or unconsciously — we may find ourselves seeking the approval of others.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Libra Sun-sign or Rising sign. As a Libra, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more aware of the delicate balance that is required internally and externally in your life.

Willing to Embrace Your “Flaws”?

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains out of bounds all week; Jupiter remains in a harmonious connection to the Moon Nodes; Uranus ends its Station phase Monday night, but remains retrograde in Gemini. Mercury aligns with the upcoming Solar Eclipse degree early Wednesday evening, and then changes signs from Virgo to Libra early on Thursday; Venus also changes signs, moving from Leo to Virgo on Friday morning; there will be a powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Virgo — in an exalted degree — that will take place on Sunday afternoon, 22 hours before the Autumn Equinox.

There are lots of planetary aspects on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday — so buckle up, it’s going to be a big week!

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late evening (for a little over 2 hours), Friday morning (for 2 minutes), and Sunday afternoon (for almost 2 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

There will be another Star Hour on Saturday!

This is a FREE Livestream event about current astrological events
Sept. 20th at 12:30pm EDT/9:30am PT/5:30pm London-time!

==> RSVP here to get a reminder email —

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 15th

Monday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday night (Sept.16th). With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say, and our feelings are thus more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others.

Self-care is key until Tuesday night!

Monday, Uranus resumes its typical pace through the sky, ending its station (remaining in its retrograde motion in Gemini).

What has come up in the last 3.5 weeks concerning radical changes in your thinking? Or around what needs to change about your thinking regarding the future? Or relating to freedom in your day-to-day interactions?

How are you doing with honoring your individuality or idiosyncrasies? The Retrograde phase is an excellent time to do some internal work in this area (retrograde ends Feb. 3rd, 2026).

Monday late eveningan opportune Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:04pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Friday morning (Sept. 12th) on; it will remain strong until this Friday, late morning (Sept. 19th).

This aspect helps our one-on-one relationships, bringing passion and/or sexiness to them — and if we’re not in a long-term committed relationship, we’ll get some help in connecting with others — online or in person.

This could also be a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, and pleasure in general.

Remember: this is an “opportunity” — those aren’t necessarily handed to us; we have to make them happen.

Ask yourself: What collaborations might lead to a valuable experience, authentic connection, or joyful interaction?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC), or any personal planets in 23-28 degrees of Leo, Libra, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 3:50am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from today (Monday) late morning on; it will remain strong until Tuesday night.

This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

Ask yourself: What have I been avoiding or rejecting about myself? Where have I been trying to “fix” myself? What might a compassionate inner dialogue and self-acceptance do for me?

This boils down to feeling “stumped” — we feel like we can’t get our head around things or make decisions.

As best as you can, be kind and compassionate to yourself. Ask yourself: Could I hang out with the inner discomfort this is stirring up, just for right now?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-27 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo(Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Solar Eclipse in Virgo — the article

On Sept. 21st at 3:54pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 29 degrees of Virgo (an exalted degree) — marking the beginning of a new Eclipse cycle.

We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon enters Virgo on Sept. 19th. Feel free to watch my Solar Eclipse video on the subject.

Setting Intentions after a Solar Eclipse is different from setting intentions for a regular new Moon cycle. I will be talking about setting Intentions for an Eclipse cycle towards the end of this article. So stay tuned for that…

Before we jump in, let me also mention my next Star Hour which will be live on Saturday, Sept. 20th at 12:30pm EDT!

This is a FREE Livestream event about current astrological events ==> RSVP to get a reminder email

This is the second Eclipse within the last two weeks, and the fourth and last one of 2025 (we had two Eclipses in the Spring of 2025 and a Lunar Eclipse two weeks ago.)

This partial Solar Eclipse will not be visible in a lot of places, but its energy and power will be felt globally. The best places to see it will be in parts of Antarctica and New Zealand.

This Eclipse is highly unusual because it takes place in an exalted degree (29º), and less than 24 hours before the Autumn Equinox.

That, in connection with so many outer planets in new signs and early degrees, tells us that we are in a time of breakthroughs, deep clearings, and major recalibrations, all backed by tremendous support from the invisible realms.

Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes, so I should also mention that this Solar Eclipse is the first one in Virgo since the Moon Nodes moved into the Pisces-Virgo polarity, back on Jan. 11th, 2025.

This means that the last time we experienced a South Node Solar Eclipse in this Earth sign was 19 years ago (to be precise, on September 2006). It occurred at 29º of Virgo — the same degree as this one.

Think back to late 2006 and early 2007: Did you experience any major endings and beginnings? What daily routines did you release or redefine? How did you declutter your life?

Did you sweat the small stuff too much? And if you did, how did that feel? What did you learn? Where were you able to let go of the “little things”? How did you reorganize your daily work routines?

Obviously things will not play out in an identical manner, but there might be a resonance this time around…

Natal planets within 3 degrees of the Eclipse will experience more dramatic changes in their lives than others (more on that later…)

Back on January 11th-24th, 2025, the Moon Nodes were in 29 degrees of Pisces-Virgo, making this Eclipse (exact at that same degree of Virgo) a catalyst for anything that we thought of at the beginning of the year.

The next 5.5 months (the length of the Eclipse cycle) will bring a chance to reorganize our lives and step into a life that feels more closely aligned to our Soul’s desire to healthily balance head and heart, mind and soul, rational and intuitive.

This Solar Eclipse chart features numerous aspects involving the outer planets:

  • The Sun and Moon oppose Saturn in Pisces
  • Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, currently in Libra, trines Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini, creating a Grand Air Trine
  • Mercury also opposes Neptune in Aries
  • Mars in the last degree of Libra (exalted) opposes Chiron in Aries and squares an “out of bounds” (OOB) Pluto
  • Jupiter in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries

We will go into each of this aspects in a moment, but first, let’s take a look at the Virgo-aspect of this highly potent Solar Eclipse:

It asks us to release perfectionism and judgments towards ourselves and others. Judgment divides us — and what we need right now is connection.

Ask yourself: What if “process improvement” beat “perfect” every time? What if it were ok not to know everything 100%?Making mistakes might feel more uncomfortable over the next 5.5 months. Ask yourself…

Since Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 4º orb instead of 2º — and since this Solar Eclipse takes place in 29º of Virgo:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 23-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0-3 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or CapricornIf so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer)

For more advanced Astrology buffs, take a look at your own birth chart, or watch my webinar about the Eclipses.

The House placement of the Eclipse will indicate which area of life is most impacted by this consciousness upgrade, and where you’re most ready to release or re-organize something in your life over the next 5.5 months.

Each of Us Creates a Ripple

This week’s headline items: Uranus remains exalted, Pluto remains “Out of Bounds”, and Jupiter continues to trine the North Node in Pisces all week. Mercury opposes the Lunar Eclipse degree on Wednesday morning; the Sun aligns with the South Node in Virgo on Wednesday afternoon, Mercury will follow suit on Thursday late evening; the last Quarter Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Sunday morning. And yes, we are still in Eclipse Season!

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday afternoon (for almost 1 hour), Wednesday very early morning (for 13 hours), Friday afternoon (for a little over 1 hour), and Sunday evening (for almost 2 hours)

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 8th

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 2:37pm EDT. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual.

We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

We are still within the 48 hour period of the Lunar Eclipse that was exact yesterday afternoon. So, take it easy and allow for lots of rest and down-time if possible.

We also talked about the Eclipses in my latest webinar: “Connecting Mind & Heart”. To get and watch this beautiful webinar, click here!

Monday at 1:44pm EDT, we enter a short Moon VoC that will last for almost 1 hour, until 2:37pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term goals connected to spiritual or creative endeavors.

You are ready to practice and take some responsibility for your intuitive and imaginative gifts, as well as your ability to be in tune with everything around you.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon ahead of time.

Monday at 2:37pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon.

Mars, the ruler of Aries is currently in Libra. This makes the next two days a great time to examine collaborations and how we come across in one-on-one relationships.

We may feel more energized when engaged in projects that involve others’ input. We may seek a more balanced approach to doing things.

Given all this, it’s vital to pursue our personal goals and channel our energy into relationships that provide a sense of equality and a balanced masculine-feminine experience.

Ask yourself: What simple action would move me one step closer to better relationships and collaborations? How can I lead without domination? How could I find a balanced way to express my feminine and masculine energies?

Accepting Our Idiosyncrasies

This week’s headline items: we are still in Eclipse Season; Uranus remains exalted all week; Saturn re-enters Pisces early on Monday morning, and will remain in an exalted degree all week; Mercury changes signs from Leo to Virgo late Tuesday morning; Jupiter remains in a harmonious aspect with the North Node all week, exact on Wednesday; Mars squares Jupiter all week, exact on Thursday; Friday night/early Saturday, Uranus comes to a halt in Gemini, starting its yearly Retrograde phase.

But the most important event of this week is a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (aka Blood Moon), which will be exact on Sunday afternoon.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late evening (for 6 minutes), Thursday early morning (for 24 minutes), and Friday afternoon (for 19 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, September 1st

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 9:45pm EDT. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best for us at this time — and we’re also physically restless, so we must burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — and we also have a high degree of independence. Taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than issue or obey orders.

Inspiring others could come more easily than usual, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page.

Improvisation works well for us today, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just be mindful that you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday at 4:07am EDT, Saturn changes signs from fast-paced, enthusiastic, and active Aries back into creative, intuitive, and sensitive Pisces until Feb. 13th, 2026.

In other words, Saturn re-enters Pisces for the next 5.5 months before its long-term stay in Aries until April 2028.

Think back to the period between March 2023 and late May 2025 — when Saturn journeyed through Pisces: Where have you gained mastery regarding your spiritual connection to life? Or the building of healthy foundations for rest, self-trust, and inner reflection?

What area of life got a lot of your attention and focus during that time? Where did you have to make a commitment to yourself (and have patience)?

What did you gain in maturity or expertise because you made an effort to tune in and slow down, whatever the external “noise”?

Due to Saturn’s current retrograde movement (it lasts until the end of November), we are connecting to the energies of this “Cosmic Teacher” from within.

As best as you can, process what occurred when Saturn moved through Pisces (this began in March 2023) — especially the period between Jan. 7th and May 25th, 2025.

Saturn will be in 29º of Pisces until Sept. 14th — an exalted degree. This refers us back to when Saturn was last there, between May 12th – 24th, 2025, before the start of its current Retrograde phase.

What messages do you remember receiving from this cosmic teacher? Did you feel called to be more aware of your sensitivities? Did you feel drawn to calm and inner peace? Were you able to tune in and trust your Soul’s guidance?

What remains to be done? What if you were 5% more serious and committed to your spiritual practices over the next two weeks?

Saturn feels a bit like a fish out of water in Pisces, but it invites us to look for practical applications of our dreams, ideologies, connection to Source, One-Consciousness, etc. This transit could also teach us that healthy boundaries and integrity can help us manifest our dreams.

Saturn in Pisces also reminds us that before we can manifest our dreams, we must look at our relationship to our higher Self, universal love, compassion, intuition, and forgiveness. We must develop spiritual sovereignty.

It asks us to take responsibility for our connection to the spiritual realm. This means turning a critical eye to what we allow in and reject — and taking a more compassionate, kinder approach towards ourselves and others.

We are invited, individually and collectively, to clarify and acknowledge our interconnectivity with all of life — with all living beings.

Saturn in Pisces also reminds us that in order to… To read the whole article, click here

All this is especially true if you are a Capricorn or Pisces Sun- or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel a greater need for focusing on your dreams — and your spiritual sovereignty. As a Pisces, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious, and mature, in the next 5.5 months.

Monday at 9:39pm EDT, we enter a very brief Moon VoC that will last for 6 minutes, until 9:45pm EDT.

Monday at 9:45pm EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, realistic, and goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Thursday morning.

Lunar Eclipse in Pisces – the article

On Sept. 7th at 2:09pm EDT, the Sun in Virgo opposes the Moon at almost 15.5º of Pisces.

All Full Moons are striking, but this one is especially noteworthy: a “Blood Moon” Lunar Eclipse. The name “Blood Moon” comes from the Moon’s red coloring during the Eclipse.

The energetic build-up begins when the Moon enters Pisces on Saturday morning, Sept. 6th ==> If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my Lunar Eclipse video — click here.

Since Eclipse are always closely connected to the Moon Nodes, we get to experience either a North Node or South Node Eclipse. This one being a North Node Eclipse, is asking us to make an effort to integrate the Pisces energy, as best as we can, to create a healthy balance between the Pisces-Virgo polarity.

Eclipse Season

We’ve been in Eclipse Season since Aug. 23rd (the last New Moon), and will remain in it until Oct. 13th (just after the next Full Moon). This corridor is an invitation to awaken, release, and recalibrate.

So the questions here are:
✨ What am I aware of — thoughts, feelings, sensations?
✨ What am I ready to choose for myself when interacting with the world?
✨ Where will I focus my mind? My Heart?
✨ What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Moon dims as Earth’s shadow passes across it. Symbolically, we are invited to…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 15.5 degrees of Pisces:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-21 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

This week’s headline items: we are now in Eclipse Season; Uranus remains exalted all week; Mercury’s post-retrograde Shadow ends early Monday morning; we have lots of Venus aspects earlier in the week; it’s time to act on our New Moon intentions from Thursday morning on; on Sunday, the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact, and Uranus’ station intensifies.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late morning (for 15 minutes), Tuesday late evening (for almost 23.5 hours), and Friday evening (for almost 13.5 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 25th

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 10:08am EDT. Until then, our focus tis still on the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time and services and love to help others.

We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our daily world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday until 2:07am EDT, we can still set our New Moon Intentions during the best and most potent time! If you’d like some input on how to do that, check out this article — to (re-) watch my New Moon video: click here.

Monday around 5:15am EDT, Mercury’s post-Shadow phase ends (at 15º37′ of Leo). We no longer need to look back in order to learn or share something new, buy or sell something different, or make new connections.

As you may recall, on Aug. 11th, when Mercury stationed direct, I mentioned the Mercury Shadow phases as well: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde and after Mercury goes direct.

This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.)

The good news is this Shadow phase ends early this morning when Mercury reaches 15º36′ of Leo. This means we can finally go ahead and book those plane tickets — or buy that new car or iPhone (or anything else communication- or transportation-related).

We can also more easily take in new information, so teaching, sharing, and learning will be more effective. Click here to read my blog on the subject.

Monday at 9:53am EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC  that lasts for 15 minutes until 10:08am EDT. Take the opportunity to get organized, improve daily routines, and increase your awareness of how those activities fit with your values.

It could also be a chance to reconnect with family and loved ones in a nurturing way, from the heart — while being mindful of what works and what doesn’t for you.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Monday at 10:08am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating.

These next 2.5 days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No.”

One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts!

Monday at 12:27pm EDT, Venus changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo, where it will journey until Sept. 19th. Venus in Leo changes how we “do” relationships.

We’re “in love with love”, so we especially appreciate (and are turned on by) gestures of love and romance. It goes the other way, too: we are warm, affectionate, and loyal to those we love and cherish (as long as they show us that they deserve our love).

Grand gestures of love and exciting, tantalizing interactions work best. Lavish everyone with compliments (including yourself). We also want to have fun and express our love for life.

And what better way is there to do that than to throw a huge party for everyone we love? And if a “huge party” doesn’t appeal, don’t opt for the couch and the TV: get out there. It’s an excellent time to take a chance!

“Taking a chance” applies to the financial realm, especially any ventures related to entertainment, children, sports, or the stock market.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more outgoing and confident for the period Venus moves through Leo. Your heart will want to connect and be admired.

Creative endeavors will feel satisfying to you. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.

Monday late evening, a harmonious Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:56pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday noon (Aug. 23rd) on; it will remain strong until Thursday early morning (Aug. 28th). This signals a time when we don’t take connections with others lightly; we are more attracted to long-term commitment than to “casual”.

Ask yourself: What long-term connections are possible at this time? What feels “right” to me? Are there any personal connections that need strengthening or refreshing? How might mutual respect and loyalty be of support?

We feel a strong sense of responsibility to loved ones and see ourselves generally as responsible and trustworthy. We have increased sensitivity to the needs of others.

We bring more maturity, respect, and integrity to our interactions — and this is a good time to approach mature or, independent people for their input.

In the same spirit, reevaluating our goals and doing our self-development “work” brings greater mastery over who we are and what we do.

This process doesn’t have to be “solemn”, so ask yourself: Who might welcome a heart-centered dialogue (or creative collaboration) that is inspirational and long-lasting? What if we expressed ourselves freely while respecting each other’s boundaries?

If my heart had a voice of its own and could talk out loud, what might it say about me being myself and walking my path with maturity and integrity? What would a courageous leader and authority figure have to say on the subject? (Think of a specific person for this question.)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-4 degrees of Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, or 27-29 degrees of Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio? If so, you will be blessed by this aspect more than others.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Human Complexities

This week’s headline items: Jupiter trines the North Node all week; there will be a massive Moon void of course on Thursday and Friday, so plan ahead for that one! The Sun changes signs from Leo to Virgo on Friday afternoon; a New Moon in 0 degrees Virgo becomes exact early Saturday — this also kicks off Eclipse Season! Uranus starts to slow down (station) on Saturday as well.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday morning (for a little over 7 hours), Wednesday morning (for almost 11 hours) and Thursday afternoon (for a little over 35 hours)!

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

There will be another Star Hour! This is a FREE Livestream event.
Live on Saturday, Aug. 23rd at 12:30pm EDT/9:30am PT/5:30pm London-time!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 18th

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 3:05pm EDT. Until then, we would like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead…

Monday at 7:53am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 7 hours, until 3:05pm EDT. This intuitive time offers an opportunity to connect with others and share yourself.

What might become possible if you were to exchange information with others in the mutual pursuit of goals you both feel excited about?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning until the afternoon ahead of time!

Monday at 3:05pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday evening.

New Moon in Virgo – the article

On August 23rd at 2:07am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 0º23’ degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon enters Virgo, 43 minutes before the New Moon becomes exact. Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

Before we get started, I just want to mention my next Star Hour on the Soulivity Community platform.

This is a FREE Livestream event. Join us Saturday, August. 23rd at 12:30pm EDT/9:30am PT/5:30pm London-time!

==> RSVP here to get a reminder email — and if this is your first time joining us, please allow a few extra minutes to get yourself set up on the Soulivity Community platform.

Now back to the New Moon:

For several nights before and after each New Moon, we are in the dark, transitioning between old and new Moon Cycles.

We are called to turn inward, to be extra-receptive to the messages of our feelings, body, and heart. We are invited to get extra rest, release outdated energy patterns, and realign with our true soul intentions.

New Moons are thus the best time to set Intentions for the 28 days following. I will talk about the best and most potent time to plant some seeds towards the end of this article, so stay tuned!

This New Moon is special for several reasons: it takes place in 0 degrees of Virgo (an exalted degree), and is the first of two consecutive New Moons in the same sign.

The next Lunar cycle begins on Sept. 21st — it is also a New Moon in Virgo and the first South Node Solar Eclipse in this Earth sign in 19 years (to be precise, since September 2006). It occurred at 29º of Virgo — and the one this September will too!

Also, because of the upcoming Eclipses, this New Moon starts Eclipse Season and this will last until October 13th, 2025. The first Eclipse will be a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on Sept. 7th, followed by the very first Solar Eclipse in Virgo since the Moon Nodes have shifted into Pisces-Virgo on Jan. 11th of this year).

Eclipses call for physical, mental, and emotional recalibration, providing an opening to move to the next level of our personal and collective evolution.

Eclipse Season happens twice a year and it is usually an unpredictable time. Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical during Eclipse season!

Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and allow affection in from friends, family, or pets.

Anything started from scratch during Eclipse Season will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after the Full Moon that follows the last Eclipse.

If possible, defer any brand-new projects until after October 13th, when this Eclipse season is over. That said, if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic, allow it to come through

We will also talk about those upcoming Eclipses in our next Forecasting Forum on Saturday, Sept. 6th, so feel free to join us and find out more about how these Eclipses will impact your own personal evolutionary shifts.

This New Moon features numerous aspects involving the outer planets:

Uranus in Gemini squares this New Moon while Saturn and Neptune in Aries both make a Quincunx to it. This provides an impetus to “think different” and make inner adjustments so we can focus on our own path and follow our inner guidance.

On top of this, Uranus also starts its station on the day of the New Moon, preparing for its yearly Retrograde phase. This will make this innovative and insightful planet (related to cosmic breakdowns and breakthroughs) more exalted until Sept. 16th!

And then we come to Mercury, the messenger, ruler of Virgo

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 28-29 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 2:07am on Aug. 23rd, and 2:07am on Aug. 25th. (as with all my times, these times are in EDT, the New York time zone). There is no Moon VoC during the most potent time to set our Intentions, so we have free rein between those times.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (as a reminder, that’s the US East Coast time zone), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page, or follow me on Instagram. I will be posting reminders during this most potent time to let you know when it is time to set your intentions.

August 11th – 17th

Connect Thought to Action

This week’s headline items: Mercury comes to a halt early Monday, as it ends its 3-week Retrograde phase, and enters its post-Shadow phase (it will remain exalted all week). The last Quarter Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Friday night. Mercury finally ends its Station phase on Sunday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday very early morning (for a little over 27.5 hours), Wednesday evening (for 14.5 hours), and Friday night (for almost 11 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 11th

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day; it will journey there until Tuesday early morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual.

We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities.

A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also an excellent time to release fears—especially those based on a sense of separation—and experience “oneness.”

Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday at 2:55am EDT, we enter a long Moon VoC that will last for 27.5 hours, until 6:33am EDT (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time to tap into a nice feeling of ease and an ability to trust and connect with loved ones.

As best as you can, trust your intuitive sensing right now, allow whatever feelings or sensations comes up to be beneficial for you.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday very early morning until Tuesday morning ahead of time!

Monday at 3:30am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt again at almost 4 degrees of Leo — ending its 3-week Retrograde phase (which began on July 17/18th at 15.5 degrees of Leo), and slowly starts its direct motion again.

As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind, and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again when Mercury moves through its post-Shadow phase — more on that in a moment…

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective.

Ask yourself: What did I learn about myself? What inner chatter that no longer sparks joy was I able to silence?

Was there anything I needed to express, release, or change to feel fully heart-centered and authentically myself? Where have I gained insight into myself over the past 3 weeks? Where do I still need to be more fully myself?

What did my inner dialog teach me? How might I share my findings in a healthy way?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Aug. 17th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 2-6 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio.

Monday after 3:30am EDT, Mercury’s post-Shadow phase begins — lasting until Aug. 24th…. as you may recall, I mentioned Mercury Shadow phases in this update a few weeks back:

If you want to buy, sell, or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde, and after it goes direct.

This is especially true if the items are connected to travel, physical activities, technology, transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.), or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) Click here to read my blog on the subject.

Monday very late in the evening, a long-term, opportune Saturn/Uranus aspect becomes exact again at 11:32pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from July 4th on; it will remain strong until Sept. 8th.

We already experienced this aspect once before — exact on April 4th — strong from March 10th – May 12th, 2025. Think back to those dates, what opportunities were unfolding for you during that time?

Due to Saturn’s Retrograde phase between July 13th and Nov. 27th, we will experience this aspect a third time in January 2026 (exact on the 20th).

An opportune aspect supports the incorporation of new ideas and changes; this particular one facilitates commitments around our vision for a better future — especially how we interact and communicate with others, and within our daily commute.

All aspects connect back to the previous conjunction. Saturn and Uranus were last conjunct in Sagittarius in 1988; this marked the beginning of a cycle that will conclude in June 2032. At that point, Saturn and Uranus will start a new cycle in a late degree of Gemini.

If you remember 1988, ask yourself: What began in your life? What did you learn about life? Who have you become because of those experiences?

Returning to our current Saturn/Uranus combination: By focusing tightly on ourselves, we gain a better understanding of our thought processes, which helps us express our unique ideas, quirks, and differences. We can more readily dedicate ourselves to goals that help us with this — and by learning more about our mental abilities, we can accomplish more in less time.

This combination presents an opportunity for significant progress and long-term changes in how we connect with others, ourselves, and the planet. It could lead to a healthier relationship with our planet and our ability to communicate and exchange ideas.

Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store — certainly unexpected ones.

Ask yourself: How might an open mind benefit me and others? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe!

Remember, though: “opportunities” are not automatically granted to us. We have to “realize” them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Leo, Aquarius, or 29 degrees of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Capricorn (the Saturn rules Capricorn; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Full Moon in Aquarius – the article

On Aug. 9th at 3:55am EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact at 17 degrees of Aquarius-Leo. The Moon’s entry into Aquarius Thursday late evening (Aug. 7th) initiates the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

Oppositions always reflect back to the planets’ conjunction; we examine the progress made since that conjunction. For example, during a Full Moon, we look back to the previous New Moon (in this instance, July 24th) to assess what has evolved since then.

Here are the astrological highlights of this Full Moon chart:

We have several oppositions in this Full Moon chart, a “Kite” Configuration that involves all of the outer planets, and a “Rectangle” configuration. Sounds quite interesting and unusual, and that’s because it is!

But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity: Here we have two oppositions in the same polarity: The Sun-Moon opposition, and a Mercury-Pluto opposition in Aquarius-Leo.

These oppositions highlight the power of our creativity as individuals and the exponential potency of collaboration. It invites us to reclaim ourselves and add our voice, heart, and hands to something meaningful.

Since Mercury is still in retrograde motion until August 11th, we may need to look back before we can move forward.

The invitation with this opposition is to dare to be different and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth.

The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our heads with our hearts, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity and create and connect from love instead of fear.

Given that Leo represents our self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question arises: How can we best balance these two energies? Or even integrate them?

We’ll seek answers to this question for the next two weeks, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.

All Full Moons have a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer)

August 4th – 10th

Achieve Balance

This week’s headline items: Mercury remains exalted all week; Mars changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Wednesday evening; Mercury’s Station intensifies on Thursday, as it gets ready to end its 3-week Retrograde phase. The Lion’s Gate will be exact on Friday (08/08); the Full Moon in Aquarius becomes exact early Saturday, and Chiron ends it’s Station that same day, though it remains retrograde.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for 1.5 hours), Wednesday afternoon (for a little over 31.5 hours), and Saturday very early morning (for 23 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, August 4th

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all dayit will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — and we’re also physically restless and must burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than issue or obey orders.

Inspiring others could come easier than usual, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page.

Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday until 6:15am EDT, we are invited to enjoy this time as much as we can — we have plenty of energy, so if you are awake, use it to explore something new about life or yourself or have some fun! (Moon in Sagittarius trines the Sun in Leo, exact at 2:12am EDT)

Monday from 12:45am – 4:45am EDT, we are invited to make some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges…

On the one hand, we want a horizon-expanding adventure; on the other hand, we want to explore our perspectives on family, home, safety, and emotional well-being. (Moon in Sagittarius quincunxes Jupiter in Cancer, exact at 2:44am EDT)

Mars starts to make some powerful aspects to all of the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) as well as Saturn. They will all become exact by the end of this week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). So stay tuned for more on those…

It’s a sign that we are ready for a jumpstart. Check to see: where are you being called to take some important actions in service of a long-term agenda?
