November 18th – 24th

Active Healing

This week’s headline items: Pluto makes its final move into Aquarius on Tuesday afternoon. Multiple planets will start to slow down (station) this week: Mercury does so on Wednesday night, as the planet gets ready for its last Retrograde phase of the year; Neptune slows down on Sunday, as it readies itself to end a 5-month Retrograde. Mars will be exalted, starting on Saturday, as it prepares for an upcoming 11-week Retrograde phase in Leo-Cancer — and Saturn ends its station phase. Lastly, there will also be a Last Quarter Moon in Virgo on Friday evening.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday until 3:50am EST; Wednesday morning (for 2.5 hours); Friday morning (almost 10 hours); and Sunday night (for almost 6 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 18th

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 3:50am EST. Until then, if you are awake, “busy” feels good, as does connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way.

You may also need to make some adjustments; as best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, and seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

Monday at 3:50am EST, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say, and our feelings are thus more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others.

Self-care is key for the next two days! Emotional safety is also important to us; we like connecting to the familiar and enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance.

Make sure, though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, or you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Monday early morning, a Mercury/Jupiter opposition becomes exact at 3:55am EST. We started to feel this aspect build Friday early morning (Nov. 15th); it will remain strong until Thursday evening (Nov. 21st). This opposition asks us to balance what we think we need to learn or share against our desire to expand our current perspective or life philosophies.

On the one hand, we seek new perspectives and approaches regarding information exchanges, learning, and teaching — and on the other hand, we want to explore our minds and confer with others to see what’s possible when we zoom out and see the bigger picture.

Learning more about our own beliefs or biases when interacting with others can be a powerful driver of personal growth right now.

Ask yourself: How open can I allow myself to be towards my own thinking processes, narratives, and beliefs? What might I observe if I remained curious about their origins?

Something to be aware of: We may get self-righteous and favor being “right” over being happy.

What might happen if I ascribed 5% less meaning and importance to any of my thoughts or beliefs? Could I allow myself to experiment with this until Nov. 21st?

We generally feel optimistic at this time, perhaps overly so: The urge to grow and expand is strong, but we can overreach — perhaps by overlooking critical details and thereby miscalculating.

We might be inclined to exaggerate and then have difficulty putting our ideas and goals into practice. That said, we can also be hilarious and interesting at this time …

Of course, we could conceivably have it both ways, perhaps by asking ourselves: How might learning something new and exploring something beyond my typical daily interactions impact my thinking? If I stepped way back from “the canvas”, what “bigger picture” would I see?

Impatience could likely be a side-effect of this aspect as well… Take an “observer” position toward your mind as best as you can: listen to your thoughts, catch yourself thinking!

Listening can be an art form that provides access to our inner wisdom, so do your best to practice listening to yourself, others, and your nervous system.

I should also mention here, that Mercury and Jupiter are in a mutual reception with each other, so they do support each other’s agenda. Watch this brief video here to hear more about the mutual reception.

Mercury last aligned with Jupiter in early June (in Gemini). Think back to that time: what began in early June? What seeds were planted? What new perspectives or approaches did you take in your interactions with others?

What has developed since? What life philosophies could support you in moving beyond where you were in early June?

In other words, what has emerged since June regarding your approaches to mental stimulation or exchanges? How about teaching or learning something that supports your own or other people’s self-growth?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of SagittariusGemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this opposition more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Monday evening, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:07pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday early morning (Nov. 16th) on; it will remain strong until Thursday evening (Nov. 21st).

This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us — especially anything that relates to traumas from the past and fears that keep us stuck or disconnected from others or that simply keep us from a fully passionate life.

Our intuition, imagination, and inspiration seem “zeroed in”. We go beyond “tolerance” to lovingly embrace differences in others and give where it’s needed with open hearts and hands. This also feeds into any creative and spiritual endeavors that start around this time.

Ask yourself: what am I ready to release that has kept me from living a passionate life? Who am I ready to forgive? Do I make it onto that list?

What if forgiveness wasn’t even a requirement? What if I could simply move on because I understand the power of acceptance and compassion towards myself and others?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or one or more personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer, or 0 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

We discussed November’s energies and how to prepare for the last Mercury Retrograde of the year!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 11th

Monday is quite the day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. It will journey there until tonight/Tuesday very early morning (Nov. 11th/12th). This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual.

We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities.

A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It’s also an excellent time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”.

Monday morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:08am EST. We started to feel this aspect build Sunday morning (Nov. 10th); it will remain strong until Tuesday morning (Nov.12th).

This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed to see what needs adjusting.

This aspect brings us to a fork in the road: One path takes us toward more profound, more authentic emotional connections with others and ourselves; the other leads to a greater understanding of our mind and how our mental exchanges with others determine our understanding of life.

There isn’t a single “correct path,” as both routes can lead to a deeper understanding of the themes at hand. However, no matter which direction you choose, it’s essential to remain open-minded throughout the journey. This is particularly important if you find yourself becoming overly enthusiastic with others, as it may hinder your ability to think clearly.

Our enthusiasm might make us impatient or hasty with others. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative, adjusting as needed.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-21 degrees of Scorpio or Gemini? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Monday at 1:26pm EST, Venus changes signs from optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius to ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Dec. 6th/7th.

With this placement, our relationships tend to be more practical: We see people for who they are and are not afraid to lay the facts on the table; we take things more seriously.

We take our time warming up to others, appreciate maturity in relationships, and can make long-term commitments. There is a strong focus on business relationships.

Venus is also connected to finances and what we value; it’s thus a perfect time to get serious and make long-term plans in these areas: As best as you can, get real about what comes in and what goes out.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more serious and focused for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to make practical, attainable long-term plans. If you are a Capricorn Sun or Rising sign, as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance, and beauty.

Monday late afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:41pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build Sunday afternoon (Nov. 10th); it will remain strong until Tuesday afternoon (Nov.12th).

This aspect also operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed to see what needs adjusting.

We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — due to a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem.

This could lead to us “hiding out,” leaving us feeling guilty, which leads to our behaving in weird ways — and we end up thinking, “Did I really just do that?”

As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-21 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:13am EST, we enter a very brief Moon VoC that will last for 13 minutes, until 1:26am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term.

As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart that stir you towards success.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:26am EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. Life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and enthusiastic about new projects.

Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive.

If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Super Full Moon in Taurus — the article

On Nov. 15th at 4:28pm EST, the Full Moon in 24 degrees of Taurus becomes exact. We start to feel this Lunation build from the moment the Moon enters Taurus on Wednesday night (Nov. 13th/14th).

If you are a Member of my online community, feel free to watch my video on the subject, here

This is the fourth of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

Before we start, just a gentle reminder that I have a Black Friday Pre-Sale coming up on Nov. 22nd, which will last until Nov. 28th (Thanksgiving Day) at 11:59pm EST.

Everyone can get a 44% discount for my Readings during that week, so definitely save those dates! And look out for the discount code! It will be available on my website on Nov. 22nd, and I will also send out reminder emails during that week 😉

All right, back to the Full Moon!

All Full Moons offer opportunities for us to see things in a new light — and they guide us away from polarization and division toward balance and integration.

Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices — and this particular Full Moon provides a double dose of that.

The Sun is in Scorpio and the Moon is in Taurus; not only that, but we are also dealing here with a Moon/Uranus alignment in Taurus — and with a highly exalted Saturn, who is coming to a halt on the day of the Full Moon to end its 4.5-month Retrograde phase. With Saturn’s direct turn, our responsibilities, what works and what doesn’t work for us, tend to magnify.

The Stationing Saturn is also the Focal Point a T-Square that involves Mercury in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Gemini! More about that in a moment.

You may recall that I talked a little about the Station phases component in the last New Moon video, and we will also address the exalted Saturn component in our next Forecasting Forum on Nov. 15th at 1pm EST/6pm GMT.

Feel free to join us, if you would like to know how Saturn’s Station direct phase will impact what comes next for you.

If you read this on or after Nov. 15th, you can also get the webinar: ”Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune — All Exalted! How can we handle this many exalted energies?” here.

That’s it for announcements and logistics; back to the Full Moon.

Let’s take a look at the Scorpio-Taurus polarity:

This Full Moon has a Taurus and a Scorpio component — Taurus spotlights our relationship to our physical body, what we value on the physical plane, and the planet we live on.

Scorpio highlights our relationship to emotional authenticity, intimacy/sexuality, empowerment/disempowerment, death/rebirth, endings/beginnings — Scorpio is asking us to recognize our deepest desires and truest motivations.

You can ask yourself with this Full Moon: What do I truly value? What deserves my attention, appreciation, and care?

Which of my values stem from social conditioning? What needs to change or be revised?

At its best, Scorpio is associated with transformation, and our capacity to shed what may have served us in the past but now hinders our growth.

We are indeed being asked to shed something in our life — a false belief, perhaps, or a “fake” identity or “way of being” — but it could also be a…

Release Anything That Keeps You Small

This week’s headline items: although Mars has moved into Leo, its opposition to Pluto remains strong all week. On Wednesday, it’s time to act on our New Moon Intentions, and Saturn in Pisces starts to slow down (station) again, getting ready to end its 4.5-month Retrograde phase. Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase on Thursday morning; the first Quarter Moon in Aquarius becomes exact on very early Saturday; and finally, Saturn’s Station intensifies on Sunday.

Please remember that Daylight Savings Time has ended! We are all back in sync (except maybe Arizona? :-))

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for almost 5 hours), Thursday late afternoon (20 minutes), and Saturday evening (just over 3.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 4th

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until late Tuesday morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn.

We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — and we’re also physically restless and must burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way than issue or obey orders.

Inspiring others could come easier than usual, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page. Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Monday early afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:36pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build Friday morning (Nov. 1st); it will remain strong until Thursday late morning (Nov. 7th). Commitment and discipline are the keys to understanding our heart’s desires and our emotional needs right now.

We face life on life’s terms and feel up to doing so (especially regarding inner knowing and intimate connections).

Ask yourself: What might become possible if I surrounded my long-term plans with 5% more intuitive and passionate self-expression?

We can also bring a more mature approach to feeling empowered and whole by embracing all we are and releasing anything that keeps us small (fears, past traumas, emotional attachments, etc.)

How might a supportive “inner parent” help us become more whole and empowered? How might taking a more realistic and practical approach to our intuitive connection to all of life help us feel empowered and whole?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-16 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? Or your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)? If any of those are true, you can expect to be more blessed by this aspect.

Monday late afternoon, we might want to explore a new healing modality for body, mind, and heart to renew our enthusiasm for life. We can be compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best. (Moon in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries, exact at 3:44pm EST)

I’m also excited to announce another episode of the Soulivity Today Show! My segment is now titled “Hot Astrology with Sonja” — join Brian Westley Johnson and me for the live show on November 8th at 8 AM, when we’ll discuss November’s energies and how to prepare for the last Mercury Retrograde of the year!

Now, back to the New Moon:

The New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio brings our focus to our intimate relationships and deepest emotional desires and fears. Feel free to also watch my video on the subject.

Eclipse season ended on October. 24th. Yay! Pluto & Jupiter are back to their normal speed. Yay!

Pluto has Stationed Direct on Oct. 11th already, so we feel more focused on accomplishing something real and empowering. We want to throw ourselves passionately at our long-term goals, creating wins wherever we can.

A couple of other things to note for this New Moon chart:

=> The New Moon in Scorpio trines Saturn in Pisces, asking us to be methodical and realistic when connecting with others intimately or when creating financial partnerships.

=> Pluto plays a crucial role: it is not only the modern ruler of Scorpio, but it is also still at the apex point of a Kite-configuration — which includes a Grand Water Trine, this time both of these configurations will be with Mercury (instead of Venus) in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer, and Neptune in Pisces.

We saw a similar planetary combo in the last Super Full Moon chart on Oct. 17th. This invites us to be emotionally authentic, self-responsible, and aligned with what feels the most empowering to us — and bring all that to the world at large.

=> Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) opposes Pluto, both at the last degree of their sign (29º Cancer-Capricorn)! An exalted degree!

This might bring some intensity to our interactions with others. We are invited here to take extra special care of ourselves and not let fear get the better of us!

=> Mercury, the messenger of the heavens, plays an important role in this New Moon chart as well, as it makes supportive aspects to both Pluto in Capricorn & Mars in Cancer, and Neptune in Pisces

=> Mercury also opposes Uranus in Taurus — the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, and innovation.

This could create some anxiousness or a feeling of uncertainty. Focusing on what we want to create, rather than focusing on what we can’t predict, is crucial!

=> Venus squares Saturn in Pisces, opposes Jupiter in Gemini, and trines Chiron in Arieș; since Chiron also makes a sextile to Jupiter, it becomes the Solution point for the Venus-Jupiter opposition.

As you can see, there is a lot going on this month, yet again. More about all that in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Scorpio energies…

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche, but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships.

Scorpio is also the sign most associated with the dark: the taboo, the subconscious, the unknown.

Our Shadow holds not only our fears, unresolved trauma, and less desirable qualities, but anything that has been repressed, including our: power, intuition, and other gifts.

Ask yourself: How might surrender, trust in a higher power, and letting go of resentment & fear give me a better understanding of peace, authentic connection, and inner strength?

Scorpio is associated with…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 7-12 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 8:47am EDT on Nov. 1st and 9:47am EST on Nov. 3rd ==> Except for a 28-minute Moon void of course on Nov. 3rd from 12:51am until 1:19am EDT — all of the above-mentioned times are in the New York Time zone/US Eastern Time.

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter (“X”) or Instagram. I will be posting reminders on Nov. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

A Deep Focus on Self-Care & Emotional Authenticity

This week’s headline items: even though it will not be exact until Sunday, Nov. 3rd, we can feel the Mars-Pluto opposition all week; the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Monday early morning; the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Friday morning; Mercury changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Saturday afternoon; and Mars changes signs from Cancer to Leo late Sunday evening.

Please note that Daylight Savings Time ended in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning (Oct. 27th) but will continue in the US until early this Sunday (Nov. 3rd)!

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late evening (for 36 minutes), Thursday early afternoon (for 32 minutes), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for 28 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know that…

Next week, at 8am on Friday, Nov. 8th, I will appear again on the Soulivity Today Podcast/Radio show with the lovely Brian W Johnson.

==> SAVE THE DATE so you can join us for an interesting “Hot Astrology with Sonja” conversation about the last Mercury Retrograde phase of the year and how to prepare for it.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Oct. 28th

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until very early Tuesday, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday around 4am EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 20.5 degrees of Virgo. This lasts until Friday morning, when the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact (more on that later this week… however, feel free to watch my video on the subject here — it will be posted by Monday, Oct. 28th in the evening at the latest).

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet so we can listen to our intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can, stay grounded, take a deep breath, and exhale any tension.

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Monday morning, a harmonious Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:31am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Monday morning (Oct. 21st) on; it will remain strong until Nov. 5th.

This aspect brings the ability to endow what we feel passionate about with our creativity — and connect it to a higher love. Our masculine energies can connect to compassion and understanding.

We can now release past issues; through loving ourselves, we can release emotional blockages and the lower vibrations of the masculine: aggression, domineering, destructiveness, and me-first attitudes.

As this aspect is taking place in Cancer and Pisces, we are connecting to our goals and dreams from an emotional place that is deeply spiritual.

We are more able to let go of our fears and attachments and can have faith that everything will turn out just as it needs to.

Ask yourself: Is there anything I can release from my past that no longer serves me? How has anger shown up in my life? Could I allow the part of me that feels anger to be embraced and accepted?

Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in 24-29 degrees of Cancer, PiscesScorpio, or 0-1 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius will be touched in a particularly beautiful way by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday late morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:35am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening (Oct. 25th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Oct. 30th).

This aspect asks us to stretch and grow beyond how we’ve known ourselves up to this point — a process of maturing that requires us to adjust and stay flexible.

On the one hand, we want to connect in a more external, fast-paced way, exploring life and expanding our horizons.

On the other hand, we feel a sharp need to be authentic about our intuitive connection to life and learn what works and what doesn’t when it comes to this inner spiritual journey.

This may involve looking for practical applications of our connection to Source or one-consciousness and determining what’s realistic.

This aspect provides an excellent foundation for fulfilling our dreams and supports our interconnectedness with all beings. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.

We tend to be more cautious regarding relationships and finances now — and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship.

Financially, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.

The key here is to approach both in a spirit that combines authenticity and maturity rather than attachment to a certain outcome.

Pushing will most likely not get us what we want — better to go one slow and steady step at a time, so we can come back later (if needs be) with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, or Gemini? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Monday at 11:54pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last for 36 minutes, until 12:30am EDT (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to empower each other around earthly issues and support each other in practical ways.

Your attention to detail is enhanced; you might implement new health routines or other systems that support your long-term goals.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening/night ahead of time.

Some Things Cannot Be Directed or Controlled

This week’s headline items: Pluto remains exalted all week; the Sun changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Tuesday evening; Jupiter ends its Station phase on Wednesday; the last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact Thursday early morning and Eclipse Season finally ends that same day. Lastly, on Saturday & Sunday we will have a Yod aspect with Mercury in Scorpio as the Focal Point.

Please note that Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning (Oct. 27th) but continues in the US until Nov. 3rd!

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday late afternoon (for 50 minutes), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for 37 minutes), and Saturday early morning (for a little over 7.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, please know…

If you missed our powerful webinar last Wednesday: MARS – TROUBLE or ACTION? You can still get it here.

The main questions with Mars are still, “What are you after? Are you taking the right actions?”

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Oct. 21st

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 6:50pm EDT. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible.

“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead …

Monday at 5pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last for 50 minutes, until 6:50pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect one-on-one, collaborate, and exchange information.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time.

Monday at 6:50pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:35am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday morning (Oct. 20th) on; it will remain strong until Thursday early morning (Oct. 24th).

This aspect helps us to come from a place of integrity and commitment. We can set aside unrealistic views and make concrete, practical plans that help us better understand our interconnectivity with life and the cosmos.

We get to the point with no wasted time or words. Looking to build solid, truthful foundations for our current spiritual journey, we speak our divine truth and temper it with intuitive caution and moderation.

The reality of our spiritual connections gets clearer, and our thought processes are better aligned with what feels truly empowering to us.

It is important for us to think about what works (and what doesn’t) on a daily basis when it comes to building this alliance with life and the cosmos, so we can remain connected to our true intuitive knowing.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 10-16 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Capricorn? If so, you will likely be more blessed by this aspect.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Oct. 14th

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day; it will journey there until Tuesday afternoon.

Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday early morning, a challenging Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 4:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Tuesday morning (Oct. 8th) on; it will last until Sunday morning (Oct. 20th). This invites us to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we know ourselves to be.

This aspect might stir up impatience and frustration when things don’t line up perfectly right away, particularly around family or home.

We may feel compelled by an instinctual desire to “do something”, but it’s important to maintain a balanced approach and strive for fair exchanges. Otherwise, our impulsive actions could lead to unnecessary arguments or leave us feeling stuck and unproductive.

Our reactions may be defensive or competitive, and we may not be willing to compromise or negotiate. Focus on nurturing your emotional well-being, and be mindful of your energy levels, being sure to get plenty of rest.

Ask yourself: Am I exhausting myself? What is my body telling me? If it had its own voice, what might it say it needs right now? Could I let go of any fearful or impulsive actions and focus instead on my emotional well-being as I interact with others?

On the subject of Mars, just a gentle reminder: The Early Bird Special for this week’s Forecasting Forum ends TODAY at midnight EDT! We will be discussing the current and upcoming Mars transits in relation to your birth chart.

==> Register to join us live on Wednesday at 5pm EDT/2pm PDT/10pm London time, or register to receive the mp4-video presentation!

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-25° of Libra, Cancer, Aries, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Monday evening, a Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 6:22pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build Saturday morning (Oct. 12th); it will last until Thursday morning (Oct. 17th). This opposition calls us to balance “togetherness” with “having our space”.

We may find that we disagree with others. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (and react) impulsively towards others — or in connection with our finances.

Try your best not to put all your money on one horse just because it has a funny name or elope with a random hottie.

We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible. Do not get a facelift or any kind of beauty treatment that has the potential to go horribly wrong. I’m not kidding.

If there were a way to fully express our individuality in our relationships without needing to pull or push away… what might that way be?

Could you shake things up a little without being oppositional or offensive? Where might the balance between “togetherness” and “having my space” lie?

Where is the point of difference between your values and those of other people? If “objectivity’ had a role in all of this, what might that role be?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aquarius, given that Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius.

Super Full Moon in Aries – the article

On Oct. 17th, at 7:26am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 24.5 degrees of Aries — the Moon’s entry into Aries on Oct. 15th starts the build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

Generally, Full Moons bring our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored.

This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — since it is the third of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

The Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries opposes the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra. If you are a site Member, you may also want to watch my video on the subject.

This is the first lunation in Aries — since the Moon Nodes transitioned into the Aries-Libra axis in 2023 — that is not an Eclipse. However, because this Full Moon comes after a Solar Eclipse, we are still in Eclipse Season. We will gain a better understanding of our relationships and partnerships after this Full Moon occurs.

The Moon in Aries aligns with Chiron, the Wounded Healer and makes an opportune aspect to an exalted Jupiter in Gemini. Jupiter started its 4-months Retrograde phase on Oct. 9th and will be exalted until Oct. 23rd.

Pluto in Capricorn is exalted as well due to its Station phase at the time of the Full Moon (until Oct. 27th). It ended its 5-month Retrograde phase on October 11th (6 days before the Full Moon becomes exact).

Therefore, Pluto’s Station is intensified between Oct. 5th – 17th, and it will play a significant role in this Full Moon chart, as it is part of a Kite configuration and part of a Grand Cross!

The Kite configuration consists of a Grand Water Trine involving Mars in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio, and Neptune in Pisces, as well as two Sextiles, making Pluto the apex point of the Kite.

The Grand Cross will be in the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) involving the Moon, Chiron, Mars, the Sun & Pluto. This will create some stress all around.

More about all of this in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity — in this case, the Aries/Libra polarity. This polarity directs our awareness to…

Going Deeper, Trusting, and Connecting from the Heart

This week’s headline items: Jupiter and Pluto’s Station phases will be intensified all week, and Eclipse Season likewise continues all week. Jupiter comes to a halt in Gemini on Wednesday early morning; Mars squares April 8th’s Solar Eclipse degree on Wednesday evening; the first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Thursday afternoon; Pluto comes to a halt in Capricorn on Friday evening; on Sunday, we have a big day astrologically speaking: Mercury will square Pluto right before changing signs from Libra to Scorpio, and Mars will be the Focal Point of a T-Square involving the Sun in Libra and Chiron in Aries.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday very early morning (for almost 4 hours), Friday late morning (for 38 minutes), and Sunday late morning (for nearly 6 hours).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder:

Our next Forecasting Forum is coming up next Wednesday, Oct. 16th, at 5pm EDT/2pm PDT/10pm London time, titled: “Mars – Trouble or Action?” We will investigate Mars’ upcoming transits and pre-Shadow phase in Cancer/Leo ==> Register for this month only here

Mars is associated with the internal masculine archetype — things like self-assertion, physical energy, taking action, and going after what we desire. It rules our instinctual nature and thus connects us to aggression, anger, survival, and sexual desire. The Red Planet can also show us where we are prone to being impulsive, rash, impatient, and violent.

Since 2019, Mars has been linked to the Wounded Healer, focusing on healing collective and individual masculine wounds. We’re encouraged to heal ancestral trauma related to masculinity and establish a more balanced, compassionate connection.

To learn more about this humbling process and how the upcoming Mars transits will impact you…

We will also talk about Mars in our next SoulivityToday Podcast/Radio Show: “Hot Astrology with Sonja”  this coming Friday, Oct. 11th at 8am ==> Feel free to join Brian and me for a lovely conversation about this masculine energy.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Oct. 7th

Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Wednesday morning.

Monday late evening, we are invited to stretch and grow. Our commitment to spiritual self-mastery and being in the present moment calls us to adjust to the outer world.

Ask yourself: What might be a creative way to stay connected to others and committed to connecting to my intuitive knowing? (Moon in Sagittarius squares Saturn in Pisces, exact at 10:50pm EDT)

We will also start to feel a harmonious Venus/Mars aspect that will be exact tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6:22am EDT. This aspect started to build last Thursday night (Oct. 3rd/4th); it will remain strong until this Saturday morning (Oct. 12th).

We tend to feel passionate, highly creative, and energized now, with lots of vitality and warmth to share.

We can actively bring people together for mutual pleasure and benefit. That’s not surprising, considering we radiate charm, vitality, and enthusiasm — we find it easy to get along with both sexes.

This combo gives us a feeling of flow around intimate connections with others and healing past issues. Going deeper, trusting, and connecting from the heart comes easier now.

Ask yourself: If I knew I could now more comfortably address something from the past, what would I address? Are there any relationships I want to investigate?

There is also a certain amount of flow regarding creativity and athletic abilities, so ask: If I knew I could accomplish something now with ease, what would I pick?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-21 degrees of Scorpio, Cancer, or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, and Mars rules Aries)

Sept. 30th – October 6th

Practice Listening to Others & Yourself

This week’s headline items: Jupiter and Pluto both remain exalted all week long. We are at the height of Eclipse Season — on Monday afternoon, we enter the 48-hour period before Wednesday afternoon’s Solar Eclipse, and that evening, Mercury moves over the Solar Eclipse degree, activating the Eclipse energy two days before the actual event — and Friday afternoon, we can finally start to set our Solar Eclipse intentions. Very early on Saturday, Mars enters its pre-Shadow phase, and Pluto’s Station phase intensifies — and Jupiter’s Station phase does likewise, only a day later, on Sunday.

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday early evening (for 41 minutes), Friday morning (for 42 minutes), and Sunday evening (for 42 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, I just wanted you to know that…

It’s not too late to get the scoop on the upcoming Solar Eclipse. I have three things I can offer you:

  1. My SoulivityToday Podcast/Radio show, where we briefly looked at Brian’s chart in relationship to the Eclipse
  2. My Solar Eclipse video, where I share in great detail what it’s all about, including lots of Coaching questions that can support you with this energy over the next 5.5 months
  3. My latest webinar: “Eclipses – Our Soul’s Journey Continues”, where I go into more detail about how both Eclipses impact each of us personally, looking at several Astrology charts and giving you an in-depth experience. And this 111-minute webinar is also currently available at a discount!

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Sept. 30th

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day;it will journey there until Tuesday evening, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Monday early evening, a Sun/Mercury alignment in almost 8 degrees of Libra becomes exact at 5:09pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday morning (Sept. 27th) on; it will remain strong until Friday morning (Oct. 4th). This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life.

Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks — we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

Ask yourself: might it serve me to practice listening to others and myself? What might a practice like this look like? What if I acted as if I was being 100% heard by others? What if I returned the favor?

Given that this alignment takes place in Libra, we may feel particularly collaborative, polite, justice-driven — and perhaps a bit conflict-averse — do your best to avoid wanting everyone’s approval and perfect harmony.

We want an active role in communications — it’s very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now.

What we say or write now is impactful, so choose your words wisely: If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent — and we’re proud of both — so our egos may get bruised if we don’t feel “heard”. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have a different opinion, and that’s okay.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-11 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini, or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Monday from 2:49pm EDT on: 48 hours before and after an Eclipse, the energy downloads are at their most potent, so be kind to yourself for the next four days, and stay as grounded as possible, no matter what you experience.

Remember: this is an opportunity to get to the next level of your evolution! Feel free to watch my video about this powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse if you haven’t seen it yet.

Monday around 6pm EDTMercury reaches 10 degrees and 04 minutes of Libra and aligns with the degree of Wednesday’s Solar Eclipse.

This might trigger some conversations connected to someone else in our lives; any such conversations must be addressed over the next 5.5 months.

Look out for messages, information, or signs related to your one-on-one relationships or collaborations, and seek ways to achieve more balance.

The key here is to heighten awareness of two things:

First, how can you be open to receiving those messages and signs around your Soul’s journey and whatever is next for you?

Second: What messages are you receiving today might help you better understand your one-on-one relationships or interactions with others? What needs to be released or redefined?

Solar Eclipse in Libra — the article

On Oct. 2nd at 2:49pm EDT, a Solar Eclipse becomes exact at 10 degrees of Libra  —  you may also want to watch my Solar Eclipse video.

Forty-eight hours before and after an Eclipse, we are experiencing heavy energetic downloads, so it’s best to wait to set Solar Eclipse Intentions until these intense downloads are complete.

Solar Eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons that take place approximately every six months — this is the second Solar Eclipse in 2024 (in this particular Eclipse cycle that will be in effect until March 2025). The first Solar Eclipse of 2024 took place in Aries on April 8th.

Think back to early April and see what seeds got planted in your life concerning the last Solar Eclipse. Did you set Solar Eclipse Intentions on April 10th, 11th or 12th? Did something end or begin at that time? What have you discovered about your physical vitality and self-identity?

This is an Annular Solar Eclipse; this occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth while the Moon is at or near its farthest point from Earth. Because of the distance to the Earth, it appears smaller than the Sun and does not entirely cover the Sun. As a result, the Moon appears as a dark disk on top of a larger, bright disk, creating what looks like a ring of light around the Moon.

The Solar Eclipse will be visible from the Pacific Ocean (starting in Hawaii), parts of South America, the South Atlantic Ocean, and Antarctica. It will be most visible over the ocean.

No matter where you are on the planet, however, the effects of the Eclipse will be transformative globally.

We also addressed Eclipse Season and the Solar Eclipse in Libra in more detail in our webinar: “Eclipses: Our Soul’s Journey Continues”. If you missed this fantastic online event ==> click here to get this fabulous 111 min. webinar

The Sun and Moon are connected to one of the Moon Nodes during an Eclipse, alternating between North and South Node Eclipses, emphasizing the evolutionary upgrades available to us during such times.

This is the second South Node Solar Eclipse in Libra since the Moon Nodes moved into the Aries-Libra polarity in July 2023.

Solar Eclipses, in particular, often correspond to significant endings and beginnings. They occur close to the same degree every 19 years, and the last time we had a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in this particular degree and sign while the South Node was traveling through Libra was on October 3rd, 2005.

We will likely experience a resonance between now and that time — “resonance”, not repetition — so think back to the Fall of 2005 and ask yourself: Were there any significant endings and beginnings? What was important to me back then? If I were to take those priorities to the next level, where would that next level find me?

A couple of things to note for this Solar Eclipse chart:

1) The New Moon not only aligns with the South Node but also with Mercury in Libra; it also makes a Square to Mars in Cancer (who is also the Focal Point of a T-Square), and it makes a Semi-sextile to its ruler: Venus.

2) Venus in Scorpio is part of a Grand Water Trine with Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer.

3) Jupiter in Gemini & Pluto in Capricorn have a potent role in this Eclipse chart, as they are both exalted (due to their Station phases), and they both make exact Sextiles to other celestial bodies: Pluto to Neptune in Pisces, and Jupiter with Chiron in Aries.

Sextiles are 60º aspects that create an opportunity that requires action; we must take advantage of these opportune energy combos to reap the benefits.

These are the major themes of this Solar Eclipse chart, and we will address them in more detail. First, let’s talk a bit about Eclipses:

During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon momentarily interrupts the normal flow of Solar Radiation, reorganizing our consciousness to a higher level. Solar Eclipses indicate the beginning of a new experience, project, or cycle.

This particular Eclipse Season started on Sept. 2nd, with the New Moon in Virgo, and it will end after the Super Full Moon in Aries that follows this Solar Eclipse (in other words, by Oct. 24th, 2024).

While Eclipse Season is underway, allow for new templates to download, stay centered, and do your best to ground from within — try using conscious breathing and conscious mental flexibility — and best of all, see if you can move to the “observer position” when it comes to the emotional and mental body.

And remember, this won’t last forever: on Oct. 24th, the downloads are complete. It is important to remember that Eclipses open the door to the next level of our Soul’s evolution.

As best as you can, don’t jump the gun for the next four weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to simply observe the urge. The exception would be anything that happens organically, but if you are ambivalent about an action, it is better to hold off until Eclipse Season ends on Oct. 24th.

Eclipses are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. We will experience a release and recalibration because old programs will get deleted and new ones downloaded.

This Eclipse will connect this process to one-on-one relationships, ancestral patterns that no longer serve us, and whatever helps us take a balanced approach to life.

South Node Solar Eclipses are an excellent time to go within, to seed anything we would like to redefine or release over the next 5.5 months — we’ll dig into this in more detail towards the end of this article when we talk about setting Solar Eclipse Intentions.

Since this Eclipse aligns with the South Node in Libra, it asks us to…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Solar Eclipse takes place in 10 degrees of Libra:

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 5-15º of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you may feel the effects of this powerful New Moon/Solar Eclipse more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Setting Intentions for a Solar Eclipse is a little different from the regular monthly New Moon process — after all, we are setting them for the whole 5.5-month Eclipse cycle, rather than just the next 28 days.

Solar Eclipse Intentions are best done 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. We are downloading new templates at the time of an Eclipse, and the energies are quite intense, so we want to wait until it all settles down a little before setting our intentions… We also definitely do not want to do this during a Moon void of course.

The best and most potent times to set your Intentions for this Solar Eclipse are between 2:45pm on Oct. 4th and 2:45pm on Oct. 6th — (in US Eastern Daylight Savings Time — i.e. the New York time zone).

Set powerful intentions — again, they cover the next 5.5 months — and if possible, align them with the Libra energy!

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast time), and converting time zones isn’t your thing, I suggest joining my Facebook Fanpage, following me on Twitter or Instagram as I post reminders when it’s time to set your intentions.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Sept. 23rd

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day; it will journey there until next Tuesday late morning.

Until then, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead …

Monday morning, we are invited to stretch and grow. Our commitment to spiritual self-mastery, towards being in the present moment, calls us to make some adjustments with the outer world.

Ask yourself: What might be a creative way to stay connected to others and committed to practicing trusting my intuitive knowing? (Moon in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces, exact at 7:58am EDT)

Monday evening, we have a tendency to think big and maybe feel a bit scatterbrained or at least have a restless mind. Our desire to share and gather information is quite strong.

We see lots of opportunities and want to move on them fast. Patience is probably not at the top of our list. However, optimism is quite strong. (Moon in Gemini conjuncts Jupiter, exact at 6:39pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we may want to consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially regarding personal goals and passions.

Ask yourself: what if a compassionate approach towards myself and others made for more fulfilling connections?(Moon in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries, exact at 8:45pm EDT).

Unorthodox Approaches To Life’s Challenges

This week’s headline items: Eclipse Season is ongoing; a powerful Super Full Moon that forms the first of two Eclipses will be exact late Tuesday evening; there will be lots of planetary action on Saturday and Sunday; the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Sunday morning — marking the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere — and Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio later that day.

There will be four Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Monday very early morning (for 4.5 hours), Wednesday early morning (for 22 minutes), Friday early morning (for 24 minutes) and Sunday morning (for 10 minutes).

Before we get to this week’s Forecast, a gentle reminder…

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Sept. 16th

Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 5:39am EDT. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement.

Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Again, we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Monday very early morning at 1:04am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 4.5 hours, until 5:39am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions.

You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need to connect with like-minded people and remain objective; on the other hand, a desire to make space for pursuing your financial vision — and breaking free from outdated value systems.

You may have to address what you value, both in others and in yourself (which informs self-worth); again, as best as you can, use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.

Monday early morning at 5:39am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Wednesday morning.

Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.

It’s also a great time to allow all that is, as it is, and go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.

Ask yourself: Is my “Higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?

Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and animals teach me about those realms?

Do I need more downtime? More resting time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?

This Moon placement starts the build-up towards the very powerful Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (exact late Tuesday evening). Feel free to watch my Member’s Lunar Eclipse video or read some or all of my Lunar Eclipse article on the subject here.

Apropos Lunar Eclipse, just a gentle reminder: The Early Bird Special for this week’s Forecasting Forum ends TODAY at midnight EDT! We will be discussing the Eclipses, in relationship to your own birth chart.

==> Register to join us live on Wednesday at 1pm EDT/6pm London time, or register to receive the mp4-video presentation!

Monday early evening, a Venus/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 5:29pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday morning (Sept. 14th) on; it will remain strong until Thursday early morning (Sept.19th).

This opposition asks us to create a balance between the healing process of our masculine energies and our various one-on-one relationships.

We may feel insecure around others at this time; we must first heal our own deep fears of not being “good enough”, learn to love ourselves — and then see how we can meet our partners halfway.

As best as you can, bring the gift of compassion, understanding, and forgiveness to your own insecurities or feelings of unworthiness — then gift that to others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Pisces — the article

On Sept. 17th, at 10:34pm EDTthe Sun opposes the Moon in 25.5 degrees of Pisces.

All Full Moons are impressive sights, but this month’s will be especially noteworthy — it is a “Full Harvest SuperMoon“.

The entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 16th starts the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon — if you are a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject here.

This is the second of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

SuperMoons are 15% brighter than an average Full Moon and 30% brighter than when the Moon is at its farthest distance from the Earth. For more on the astronomy of SuperMoons, click here

In addition to being a slightly larger-than-average “SuperMoon,” this Full Moon will also be a partial Lunar Eclipse.

Eclipse Season started on Sept. 2nd (at the time of the last New Moon) and lasts until Oct. 24th (past the next Super Full Moon).

So the questions here are: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and thought forms.

This means we may feel more easily triggered as buried emotions and fears surface. Please be aware of projections and jumping to conclusions.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind that Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

This partial Lunar Eclipse will be visible from most of North America, all of South America, Europe, all but the easternmost parts of Africa, western portions of Asia and Russia, and parts of Antarctica

It lasts approximately 1 hour, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for the next four weeks.

This Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within two weeks; it offers an opportunity for a more balanced connection between the head and the heart.

==>You can also join my next Forecasting Forum for more about the Eclipses. Live on Wednesday, Sept. 18th at 1pm EDT. The Early Bird Special ends on Sept. 16th at midnight EDT.

There are two Eclipse Seasons per year. They give us the opportunity to upgrade our energy, emotional, and mental bodies, together with our physical experience.

On Sept. 17th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the last Eclipse Season that began in March 2024? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in creative, free-flowing, sensitive Pisces, while the Sun is in detail-oriented, practical, analytical Virgo.

Eclipses are usually powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Pisces-Virgo polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Pisces/Virgo — from Jan. 11th, 2025 until July 26th, 2026.

This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, which emphasizes making more of an effort to trust our connection to the divine and our intuition, our ability to open our hearts and co-create with our higher Self.

This Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse also calls us to release or redefine our conditioned minds, judgments of ourselves and others, and anything disconnected from our hearts.

We are encouraged to become more aware of our biases, approach anything we do not know or understand with compassion, and bring acceptance and unconditional love to our interactions with others.

With a new Eclipse cycle, this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until February 2027.

Full Moons illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices. We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a North Node Eclipse, we need to…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 25 degrees of Pisces:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? Now, this week’s Forecast:

Monday, Sept. 9th

Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 1:26pm EDT. Emotional authenticity is essential to us now; we might perceive anything less than 100% emotional honesty as flat-out dishonest.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our power. It does so through subtraction, encouraging us to let go of whatever disempowers us. As such, it is an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Monday very early morning at 2:50am EDT, Mercury changes signs from fun and attention-loving Leo into detail-oriented, practical Virgo again. Mercury will journey through the sign of Virgo until Sept. 26th — and note that due to its earlier Retrograde phase (in August), the planet also passed through this sign between July 25th and August 14th.

Mercury in Virgo sharpens our thinking: We see clearly and are more inclined to direct our energy toward day-to-day, practical matters.

Creating order in our daily lives, knowing what’s coming next, organizing, planning on a short-term scale, and doing errands will become easier. This contrasts our ability to go with the flow, be present, and have faith that things will turn out well, no matter what: not so easy …

We may feel we do things better than others, denying them a chance to improve their skills or show us a different method.

As best as you can, be of service to others — and remember that perfection is lovely when we approach it as a progressive journey and a tyrant when we set it as a rigid goal. What if you aimed at continuous improvements rather than a frozen “perfect”?

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the need for organization and improvements more strongly.

Monday at 1:11pm EDT, we enter a brief 15-minute Moon VoC that runs until 1:26pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes.

As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past and instead deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world.

You can now become fully committed to a project or task that might serve you long-term.

As always with a Moon VoC, don’t start anything brand-new. Stick to routine things, or go with the flow as far as possible. You may also want to plan ahead of time for Monday afternoon.

Monday at 1:26pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening.

Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming everyone is on the same page. Improvisation works well for us now, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.

Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Gemini, making this a great time to explore our thoughts and ability to process and share information.

As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your ability to listen, learn, teach, or write— and to get excited about sharing and staying connected with others.

Ask yourself: What road might lead to a closer connection to others? How might listening more closely or carefully be a part of that?

What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards my inner dialog? What do I think about? What don’t I think about?

Use this time to embrace your mind and its intellectual capacities and put them to good use, sharing, listening, keeping an open mind, and especially seeking connection — rather than building separation.

When you stay open-minded and flexible in life and with others, you create spaciousness and fluidity! What you think is true will be true for you. What you don’t think is true will be true, too.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Sept. 2nd

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey there until Wednesday early afternoon, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome.

Monday late morning, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:46am EDT. Due to Mercury’s Station-Direct period, we started to feel this aspect build on Aug. 19th; it will remain strong until this Thursday afternoon (Sept. 5th).

Due to Mercury’s retrograde phase, this aspect has become exact for the third time within the last 6.5 weeks; the first time was on July 18th, and the second was on Aug. 23rd.

Think back to those dates: What thoughts helped you to heal inner wounds? What roles did humility and open-heartedness play?

This aspect is a wonderful possibility for active healing concerning our conditioning and day-to-day thinking structures.

We can bring compassion, both for ourselves and for others, to communications that trigger us. We are able to allow for our “inner playful child” to come out in unique ways as we share ourselves — especially when it comes to our identity, personal goals, and passions.

Acceptance and understanding of our own and others’ “Human-ness ” come more easily now. Humor can be a helpful way to explore our own humanity…

We feel more confident to connect and communicate without seeing ourselves as weak or “less than”. We feel perfectly ok to be ourselves, and that may involve feeling insecure.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? Could I enjoy that I am human? That other people are human?

What if I talked about my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities? How might this support my healing process? Someone else’s?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Monday at 9:56pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 11 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We started to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon entered Virgo on Sunday night (Sept. 1st/2nd) ==> Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject.

With this New Moon, we also enter Eclipse season! This will last until Oct. 24th. Eclipses ask us to recalibrate on the physical, mental, and emotional levels, which gives us a chance to move to the next level of our evolution – on a personal and collective level.

This New Moon features numerous aspects involving the outer planets: four aspects with Pluto in Capricorn, three with Neptune in Pisces, and three with exalted Uranus in Taurus.

This signifies an invitation to collectively shift consciousness. We are urged to work with these powerful energies for the benefit of ourselves and those we encounter.

All three of those planets are currently also in their Retrograde motion, inviting us to focus on making inner shifts and realigning ourselves with what no longer serves us.

Uranus is still stationing (exalted) until Sept. 13th; meanwhile, Neptune & Pluto are both in the last degree of their signs (29º), and thus exalted — their energies are “louder”.

Uranus is the loudest of the three, urging us to redefine our connection to the physical world and our self-worth; Neptune is asking us to trust our inner guidance and connection to Source-energy; finally, Pluto is asking us to reclaim our power, and live with purpose and a passion for life.

The Sun and the Moon in Virgo are part of a T-Square with Saturn and JupiterThese are “social planets”, linked to our social and economic contracts, agreements, and dynamics.

And then we come to Mercury, the messenger, ruler of Virgo, also currently exalted. He is quite involved in this New Moon chart as well.

I will talk more about this in connection with the planetary aspects of this New Moon chart, but first, let’s look at the Virgo energy of this New Moon:

Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.

The highest vibration of Virgo is observation, discernment, and analysis from a neutral standpoint to determine what works and what doesn’t.

Ask yourself: Could I release judgment from my life (starting with self-judgment)? Could I instead take a deep breath and discern what works and what doesn’t? What might this look like if I stayed completely neutral?

This New Moon cycle will be a great time to… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s New Moon, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 9:56pm Monday late evening (Sept. 2nd) and 9:56pm on Wednesday late evening, Sept. 4th (New York time). The only exception will be a brief 6-minute period from 12:06 – 12:12pm on Wednesday, Sept. 4th.

New Moon in Virgo – the article

On Sept. 2nd at 9:56pm EDTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 11 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. We start to feel the effects of this New Moon the moment the Moon enters Virgo on Sunday night (Sept. 1st/2nd).

==> Feel free to also watch my New Moon video on the subject.

With this New Moon, we also enter Eclipse season! This will last until Oct. 24th. We will have a Lunar Eclipse on Sept. 17th and a Solar Eclipse on Oct. 2nd.

Eclipses ask us to recalibrate on the physical, mental, and emotional levels, which gives us a chance to move to the next level of our evolution – on a personal and collective level.

Eclipse Season happens twice a year and it is usually an unpredictable time. Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical during Eclipse season!

Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and allow affection in from friends, family, or pets.

Anything brand-new (and I mean brand, brand-new) started during Eclipse season will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after the Full Moon that follows the last Eclipse.

If possible, defer any major brand-new projects until after October 24th, when this Eclipse season is over. If something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic, allow it to be.

If you would like to learn more about the upcoming Eclipses, and how they might be impacting you personally, please join us for our next Forecasting Forum on Sept. 18th at 1pm EDT.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, Aug. 26th

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Wednesday early morning.

Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged, we might as well curl up and play dead …

Monday at 5:26am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 3.5º of Gemini becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build when the Moon entered Gemini late on Sunday evening (Aug. 25th).

The Moon, in curious, chatty Gemini, makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in practical, detail- and service-oriented Virgo.

This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.

We are better served during the last Quarter Moon by reviewing any projects begun around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Aug. 4th — rather than launching new ones.

As best as you can, find kind and creative solutions for whatever comes up, whether internally or with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-6 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces? If so, you will strongly feel this month’s last Quarter Moon; the same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
