Super Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Pisces — the article

On Sept. 17th, at 10:34pm EDTthe Sun opposes the Moon in 25.5 degrees of Pisces.

All Full Moons are impressive sights, but this month’s will be especially noteworthy — it is a “Full Harvest SuperMoon“.

The entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 16th starts the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon — if you are a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject here.

This is the second of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

SuperMoons are 15% brighter than an average Full Moon and 30% brighter than when the Moon is at its farthest distance from the Earth. For more on the astronomy of SuperMoons, click here

In addition to being a slightly larger-than-average “SuperMoon,” this Full Moon will also be a partial Lunar Eclipse.

Eclipse Season started on Sept. 2nd (at the time of the last New Moon) and lasts until Oct. 24th (past the next Super Full Moon).

So the questions here are: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and thought forms.

This means we may feel more easily triggered as buried emotions and fears surface. Please be aware of projections and jumping to conclusions.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind that Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

This partial Lunar Eclipse will be visible from most of North America, all of South America, Europe, all but the easternmost parts of Africa, western portions of Asia and Russia, and parts of Antarctica

It lasts approximately 1 hour, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for the next four weeks.

This Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within two weeks; it offers an opportunity for a more balanced connection between the head and the heart.

==>You can also join my next Forecasting Forum for more about the Eclipses. Live on Wednesday, Sept. 18th at 1pm EDT. The Early Bird Special ends on Sept. 16th at midnight EDT.

There are two Eclipse Seasons per year. They give us the opportunity to upgrade our energy, emotional, and mental bodies, together with our physical experience.

On Sept. 17th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the last Eclipse Season that began in March 2024? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in creative, free-flowing, sensitive Pisces, while the Sun is in detail-oriented, practical, analytical Virgo.

Eclipses are usually powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Pisces-Virgo polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Pisces/Virgo — from Jan. 11th, 2025 until July 26th, 2026.

This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, which emphasizes making more of an effort to trust our connection to the divine and our intuition, our ability to open our hearts and co-create with our higher Self.

This Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse also calls us to release or redefine our conditioned minds, judgments of ourselves and others, and anything disconnected from our hearts.

We are encouraged to become more aware of our biases, approach anything we do not know or understand with compassion, and bring acceptance and unconditional love to our interactions with others.

With a new Eclipse cycle, this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until February 2027.

Full Moons illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices. We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a North Node Eclipse, we need to…

This being a North Node Eclipse, we need to embrace, integrate, and explore the Pisces energy.

Here are the astrological highlights of this SuperMoon-Lunar Eclipse chart:

  • The Sun aligns with Mercury in Virgo
  • The Sun trines Uranus in Taurus, and Pluto in Capricorn — creating a Grand Earth Trine
  • The Moon aligns with Saturn & Neptune in Pisces, and all three oppose the Sun & Mercury in Virgo
  • Neptune (the ruler of Pisces and the Lunar Eclipse) together with the Moon in Pisces sextile Uranus & Pluto, which creates a Kite-formation with Neptune & the Moon as the primary energies for transformation
  • Jupiter in Gemini is still the Focal Point of a T-Square, this time squaring the Full Moon polarity, as well as the Mercury-Saturn opposition
  • Mars in Cancer squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra
  • Venus in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries and trines Jupiter in Gemini

I will talk about all of these in more detail, but first, let’s take a closer look at the polarities involved here:

The Sun & Mercury in Virgo advises us to simplify and eliminate what is distracting to us or harmful in any way.

The Moon, Saturn & Neptune in Pisces ask us to strengthen our connection with our higher Self, look within for answers, and follow our own spiritual compass.

Ask yourself: What needs to be rectified or resolved? What do I still need to heal or forgive? What are my heart and soul whispering to me?

The opposition between the planetary alignments in Pisces and the Sun-Mercury alignment in Virgo asks us to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, and infuse matter with spirit.

Pisces wants us to open our hearts and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind).

In fact, on an energetic level, there is no separation; everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).

Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Seemingly different, yes, but not separate.

If you identify as a creative, spiritual person, see if you can add a dash of logical, discerning, and scientific flavor to the mix.

If you are generally rational, practical, and fact-based, see if you can add a dash of imagination, flow, trust, and creativity.

Virgo is connected to our mental processes — it analyzes — whereas Pisces is connected to our intuitive processes, feels, and senses.

Virgo seeks physical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness — a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life and its mysteries.

To be at its best, Virgo aims for practical applications and to be of service. In contrast, Pisces learns to listen to inner/intuitive guidance above all else, using its imagination to bring love and light into this world, sprinkle some mystery fairy dust, and create Paradise on Earth.

When these two archetypes are balanced within, we discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.

That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons:

Virgo’s shadow side is self-deprecation and judgment; the latter creates separation from others and a split within ourselves.

Ask yourself:  What if I did 5% less “perfection” and 5% more “process improvement”? What if it were ok to not know everything 100%? Could I be of service to others while also improving my understanding of things?

How might “making mistakes” be beneficial to me? What if I celebrated “mistakes” as stepping stones to a better life?

Simply observe: Does my inner dialog observe and discern what is productive vs. what is unproductive (i.e., what works or what doesn’t)? Or do I label things as “good or bad” (or “right vs. wrong”)?

You could say that Pisces is an antidote to judgment: in its lightest expression, it understands that we are all souls in various states of development, with different paths in the world — we are all love at our core, and everything is ultimately an expression or variation of love.

The shadow side of Pisces is a lack of boundaries, getting lost in various illusions, fantasies, and escapism (this stems from being highly sensitive, feeling everything, and becoming overwhelmed).

As you may have guessed, the remedy for the Pisces shadow lies in the lighter vibrations of Virgo; these include the ability to focus on what works (versus what doesn’t), to make practical choices, and to make the best use of our daily engagements while taking care of our physical wellbeing.

When the Pisces– and Virgo-energies are integrated, we marry a clear, observant mind with a compassionate and loving heart — a mind in partnership with our intuitive sensing!

Ask yourself: What tools might shift my view of reality from either/or to both/and? From the mind-activity of “wanting to understand” and “know” to the heart-activity of true understanding?

The Sun in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn, which creates a Grand Earth Trine.

Earth Trines bring flow and ease to practical endeavors and provides a wonderful opportunity to improve our daily lives by committing to what feels authentic and empowering to us and others for the long term.

We get a chance to achieve all this by keeping things down to earth, honest, and enjoyable.

Ask yourself: How do I manage my time? Do I have enough of it? Or too much? How could I work 5% smarter rather than 1% harder? What if I could reinvent my relationship to time, such that I could get more done in less time?

What might a review of my current habits show me? How do I maintain my home and my workspace? Where might there be clutter that is asking to be removed? How do I take care of my health? If my body had a say in this, what might it say?

The Trine to Uranus, connects us to a strong energy field — physical and metaphysical. We feel alive, want to create a better future for ourselves and others, and are excited to do it.

Ask yourself: How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress in my daily routines? Where might I find something unexpected that changed my relationship to health & well-being?

The Trine to Pluto allows us to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what works and what doesn’t”, we can make more powerful choices.

Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back?

What fears and attachments could I release that no longer serve my evolution? Would I be willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?

Neptune (the ruler of Pisces and the Lunar Eclipse) and the Moon in Pisces sextile Uranus & Pluto. This formation creates a “Kite” with Neptune & the Moon as the primary energies for transformation

The Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn makes it easier to surrender our fears about our position in the world and our achievements; we can more easily be guided by inspiration and feel empowered about a project or task that might serve us long-term or as a society.

Ask yourself: How might a compassionate heart help me surrender my fears concerning past trauma or disempowerment?

Is it at least possible that combining my imagination with trust in divine guidance would support me effortlessly reaching my deep desire for an empowering experience in society?

The Sextile to Uranus in Taurus helps us trust our inner processes while allowing the Universe/Source/our Higher Selves to guide us toward a unique relationship with the Earth, our bodies, and our sense of self-worth.

Ask yourself: Supposing everything is energy, and everything is always in perfect alignment on an energetic level, what might tuning into my energy-body provide?

If I did tune in, is it at least possible that I would achieve a more perfect alignment with my values? Or deepen my sense of self-worth?

What would trusting the unfolding of a unique relationship with my body look like to me? How about with the Earth and all of its life forms?

Neptune, the ruler of Pisces and this Lunar Eclipse asks us to open up to love whenever possible — not romantic love, but the unconditional love which forms the energetic fabric of the universe.

Neptune and Pisces symbolize the origin and return to Source. The illusion associated with Neptune is that of separation rather than the non-physical realms.

I believe that non-physical realms are more real than our physical experience on this planet — and that the illusion of physical reality is a sometimes-painful gift that allows us to fully live and explore the human experience, making our own choices and growing at our own pace.

Whenever Neptune is involved in a close aspect to a New or Full Moon, the veils thin, increasing access to spiritual insights, empathy, and creativity; this is even more emphasized when the Lunation is also an Eclipse.

Forgiveness is another aspect of this Lunar Eclipse’s energetic theme — it encourages us to forgive ourselves, others, and the world for any betrayals, injustices, or wrongs we have endured.

The Moon’s alignment with Saturn in Pisces asks us to slow down and clarify our divinity and connection to the “All”. We are invited to practice focusing on the present moment and learning about the benefits of stillness and silence.

Ask yourself: What feels like an energetic match? What doesn’t? What choices help me sleep better at night? Be more present during the day? What choices are likely to support a healthy relationship with my sixth sense? My intuition?

What if I were able to recognize my subconscious tendency to see myself as a victim of my circumstances or the actions of others? What am I ready to choose for myself when interacting with the world?

Jupiter in Gemini is still the Focal Point of a T-Square, this time squaring the Full Moon polarity and the Mercury-Saturn opposition.

This T-Square cautions us not to override our intuition and to check our perspectives, assumptions, and beliefs.

Ask yourself: Where or what do I need to prioritize? When is it prudent to take more charge of my life? Where am I being nudged to be more open-minded and optimistic?

I covered the T-Square in detail in the previous New Moon video and article; please refer to my website for more information.

Mars in Cancer squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libracreating a significant opportunity to release past patterns in connection with the masculine energy we’ve been carrying for decades — including those that span generations.

It signifies a pivotal moment — both on a personal and a collective level — and encourages us to become more conscious of our needs and emotions and to practice self-care. This mindfulness enables us to respond to life’s events instead of merely reacting.

Ask yourself: How can I take 5% more responsibility for my actions and reactions? Might 5% more awareness of my needs and feelings support my goals and collaborations? How might planned and scheduled self-care help my healing journey? How might it help others?

Venus in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries and trines Jupiter in Gemini.

The Opposition to Chiron asks us to heal our deep fears of not being “good enough”, learn to love ourselves — and then see how we can meet others halfway.

As best as you can, bring the gift of compassion, understanding, and forgiveness to your own insecurities or feelings of unworthiness — then gift that to others.

Ask yourself: How can I be there for myself first? How might healing my insecurities and emotional wounds support my connections with others? Where do I feel worthy? Where do I feel unworthy?

The Trine to Jupiter brings a good dose of optimism to our relationships and finances. Our outlook is cheerful and hopeful, and the atmosphere is cooperative.

Ask yourself: What opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as well as “how”?

To sum it all up, we are receiving some powerful downloads for this powerful Super Full Moon. Our minds and hearts are recalibrating.

The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades.

During this period, all types of relationships are accentuated — and with the potent Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse, there’s an intensified focus on our sacred bond with Source and on our capacity to identify what is beneficial and nourishing in our everyday lives.

Remember: When enough of us can recalibrate our energy levels to a higher frequency and authentically integrate our mind-heart connection, those who feed on the denser energies will change or make space for new life to come through.

Ask yourself often: What if I were in human form at this time to assist with birthing a new and higher collective consciousness on Earth? What if I could do that without making anyone else wrong?

What would this look like if we could achieve that one human at a time?

Please remember that we are still in Eclipse season until October 24th. So, as best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

Stay grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 5-6 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to observe the urge — unless it is connected to something that happens organically — if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better hold off until Eclipse Season ends.

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 25 degrees of Pisces:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Aquarius – the article

On August 19th at 2:26pm EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact in 27 degrees of Aquarius. The Moon’s entry into Aquarius on Aug. 17th initiates the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

This is the first out of four SuperMoons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

Oppositions always reflect back to the planets’ conjunction; we examine the progress made since that conjunction. For example, during a Full Moon, we look back to the previous New Moon (in this instance, Aug. 4th) to assess what has evolved since then

Here are the astrological highlights of this Full Moon chart:

  • There are two T-squares in this Full Moon chart, and both rulers of the Full Moon (Uranus and Saturn) are involved!
  • One of the T-squares involves the Full Moon polarity (Aquarius-Leo) with Uranus in Taurus as the Focal Point
  • The other T-square involves Saturn in Pisces, Venus in Virgo, and the Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini as the Focal Point
  • The Moon in Aquarius not only opposes the Sun in Leo but also a Retrograde Mercury
  • The Moon also trines the Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini
  • The Sun in Leo trines Chiron in Aries
  • Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) is exalted at the time of the Full Moon – as it prepares for its yearly Retrograde phase that begins on Sept. 1st
  • An exalted Uranus in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces and trines Pluto in Aquarius

But first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity: the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius opposes the Sun & Mercury in fun-loving, expressive Leo.

This opposition highlights the power of our creativity as individuals and the exponential potency of collaboration. It invites us to reclaim ourselves and add our voice, heart, and hands to something meaningful.

Since Mercury is currently in retrograde motion, we may need to look back before we can move forward.

Mercury started its 3.5-week Retrograde on Aug. 5th (soon after the last New Moon in Leo). So rather than sharing something new, we may want to revisit what we created or discussed from July 17th to 21st, when Mercury moved through its pre-Shadow phase in Leo.

The invitation with this opposition is to dare to be different and to remember how we are all part of a larger whole. The highest quest of Leo leads to authentic Self-expression: to embody our gifts, shine our light, and live our truth.

The highest task of Aquarius, on the other hand, is the attainment of unity in diversity, where everyone’s uniqueness is honored and included.

When we align our heads with our hearts, we feel our interconnectedness with all of humanity and create and connect from love instead of fear.

Given that Leo represents our self-expression and Aquarius our vision for humankind, a question arises: How can we best balance these two energies? Or even integrate them?

We’ll seek answers to this question for the next two weeks, as we might become more aware that something is out of alignment.

All Full Moons have a shadow side — so let’s take a look at the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace

As always, with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of…

[wcm_restrict]

As always, with shadow aspects of ourselves, we need to beware of getting triggered and jumping to conclusions; we need to take time to respond rather than react.

Let’s start with Leo’s shadow side:

Leo’s shadow can show up as self-centeredness or narcissism — picture a child that cannot see beyond itself, is not aware of other people in the room, and cannot look past the current moment to the consequences down the line.

Ask yourself: Where in my life do I take things too personally? Have I ever created drama when I couldn’t see a way to possess what I desire? Where do I tend to be self-indulgent? What role does pride play?

The less self-connection and self-knowledge we possess, the more we depend on others for our identity.

To develop a healthy connection to our inner child, we must learn to keep an open heart and let ourselves be playful and creative. We must also learn to express our needs and desires to have open, authentic conversations with others, which requires courage and self-confidence.

So ask yourself: What if I expressed myself with 5% more courage? What might open up if I did that with my heart as my center? What might my world look like if I allowed my light to shine just 5% brighter?

Let’s look at Aquarius’s shadow side: this can show up when we get overly attached to the mind and its functions, especially idealized visions, rigid thinking about the future, etc. “Headiness” kicks in, and the mind’s activity reaches an all-time high.

The shadow side of Aquarius may hold lofty ideals but leave us clueless as to how to “be the change we wish to see in the world” — instead, we want others to be that change.

The classic setup here sees us disconnecting from inner moment-to-moment joy to improve our future, “humanity”, or “the world at large” — the latter two stem from Aquarius’s association with group consciousness and group-mind.

The shadow side of Aquarius thus expresses itself in herd mentality, where peer pressure can drive people to conform and react — often unconsciously.

Fear of rejection or ostracism might have us shy away from standing out, so ask yourself (and be honest with yourself here):

How have I avoided following my heart so I can “keep in with the crowd” or a particular group of people? What might I change if I gave 5% less energy to fears of ridicule or rejection?

As mentioned earlier, this aspect is an invitation to balance and integrate the two polarities involved to bring about a brighter future for humankind, so ask yourself:

What would it look like if I gave the go-ahead for that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that, right now?

It’s essential to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others, so as best as you can, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions?

Now let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart:

There are two T-Squares in this Full Moon chart, and both rulers of the Full Moon (Uranus and Saturn) are involved!

One of the T-squares involves the Full Moon polarity (Aquarius-Leo) with Uranus in Taurus as the Focal Point.

Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, symbolizes the spiritual principles of freedom, creative thought, innovation, and progressive change. This change aims to create a better future for everyone but requires disrupting old ways of thinking and being.

If we are not prepared to upgrade our values and relationship with ourselves and the physical realm, this could lead to chaos.

Uranus is also exalted at the time of the Full Moon – as it prepares for its yearly Retrograde phase that begins on Sept. 1st, which makes this configuration even more powerful.

We will delve into this during our upcoming Forecasting Forum on August 21st at 5 pm EDT!

This T-Square creates some tension but also invites innovation and clarifies our priorities. We might feel anxious or stressed by a situation or interaction involving a network of friends, a group affiliation, or like-minded people.

Ask yourself: How can I do what’s best for others or the collective if I don’t first do what’s best for myself?

In general, Squares to Uranus require a major shift in our priorities and strategies. Sudden changes and even radical breaks with the past are possible right now, potentially shaking us out of stagnant patterns.

Ask yourself: Where might a new chapter be waiting to unfold? What ideas and insights point to that?

We are invited to maintain a sense of detachment in our social interactions, honoring our individuality without condemning others for being themselves or having different preferences.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to “think outside the box”? Could I “hold space” for things to reorganize themselves physically? How about mentally?

What am I ready to innovate or change about my physical reality? My values? My self-value?

Squares always ask us to “Stretch and Grow”, and since a T-Square consists of two squares and one opposition, this one challenges us to stretch and grow by scrutinizing our individualistic spirit.

Ask yourself: Where do I feel most connected to my individualistic spirit?

The solution with all T-squares is to focus on the empty leg — in this case, Scorpio — so in this instance, we are invited to bring our unique approaches and innovative spirit to our intimate relationships or financial partnerships.

Ask yourself: Might I have stronger emotional connections with people who share my unique values? What becomes possible when I connect to people who appreciate my individualistic approach?

Could I allow myself to see an energetic alignment or misalignment with others where I now see “right” vs. “wrong”, or “good” vs.“bad”? What might open up if I embraced all of me — my light and my darkness?

Accepting each other’s differences is essential right now, as we all have different values — and those values create our preferences and determine our comfort zone.

Ask yourself: Could I “hold space” for other people’s fears and comfort levels just 5% more actively?

How could I take differences in values less personally? Is it at least possible that I could honor my “differentness” without making others wrong for theirs?

The exalted Uranus in Taurus also sextiles Neptune in Pisces and trines Pluto in Aquarius.

The Sextile to Neptune is an opportunity to join our need to break free from “old values” to a gentler, more intuitive approach.

Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my individuation process? How might it upgrade my values?

Where might merging my five senses with my sixth sense create a breakthrough? What insights are coming through right now to facilitate this merger?

Uranus is also approaching a Trine to Pluto (soon to be back in Capricorn: Sept. 1st until Nov. 19th).

It feels as though our higher Self is orchestrating some supportive scenarios for us. All we need to do is trust the process and hang in there with our hearts and minds wide open, allowing the shifts to happen.

The less scared we are of our future, the better. This Trine will become exact in 2025, so it is an unfolding process for us all. Ask yourself: What challenges did I face from 2012 to 2015? What supportive scenarios might be entering my life now?

Collectively, we have been undergoing a social transformation. We are ready to go to a place that supports our future goals.

What started with the conjunction in the mid-60s was challenged in the mid-2010s and will now be able to come to a more supportive conclusion that supports our physical reality in the long run.

Again, the less scared we are of our future, the better!

The other T-Square involves Saturn in Pisces, Venus in Virgo, and the Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini as the Focal Point.

Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius and will be in a Square to Jupiter three times over the next ten months. This first one, being part of a T-Square and on the same day as the Full Moon, might kick up some dust or frustration.

This Square might ask us to transcend our self-imposed limitations or urge us to stay more connected to our inner guidance, not allowing the mind to take over to the extent that we are no longer centered in our own spiritual core or able to be present and experience peace.

Impatience and unrealistic expectations might lie behind our frustrations.

And, of course, when it comes to Saturn, we are always invited to slow things down enough so we don’t misstep or go overboard.

The Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini keeps us mentally active and engaged to the degree that we may get restless or scatterbrained.

Given our ability to learn quickly while multitasking, there is a risk of overextending ourselves. As best as you can, pace yourself and pursue your goals with thoughtfulness and curiosity.

Ask yourself: Could I look closer at my beliefs and attitudes around information consumption (for example, via reading or watching things)? What do I notice? How is my nervous system impacted by all of this?

What is healthy? What is necessary? Where am I going overboard?

The solution for this T-square lies with Sagittarius, who invites us to see the bigger picture and interpret things in a way that brings excitement and possibility to our social interactions.

Ask yourselves these questions: How do I use my optimism and generous spirit? Am I overstimulating my mind? Could my current perspectives be placed in service to a bigger exploration of life?

Could my desire for personal growth and opportunities be directed toward learning more about my beliefs? Or my life philosophies? What might I discover if I took that journey?

The Moon in Aquarius trines the Jupiter-Mars alignment in Gemini. We may feel rather social, and easily excitable. Great ideas and concepts can be shared right now.

We get a chance to connect with like-minded people and share information that allows us to see the bigger picture and expand each other’s minds.

Ask yourself: What could I share right now that might help people understand the bigger picture, and what’s to come?

When you are sharing with others, check in with yourself: What is helpful to share? What is harmful?

And if you are not able to share anything right now, ask yourself this: who could I seek out that fosters understanding of what’s to come? Could I allow my inner compass to point me in a helpful direction?

The Sun/Mercury alignment in Leo trines Chiron in Aries. With this combo, we have the chance to shine, largely because we project self-respect and modesty.

This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths. Where might this be true for you?

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? Could I not only allow that, but enjoy it?

Could I allow for my “inner playful child” to come out in unique ways as I share myself — especially when it comes to my identity, personal goals, and passions.

To sum it all up, this Full Moon highlights the archetypes of individuality and diversity, creativity and collaboration, passion and progress.

It urges us to remember that we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution — that we were born for this challenging transition on Planet Earth.

We now have the power to alter our consciousness and release deeply ingrained patterns and beliefs. Extra rest, hydration, and time in Nature help ground and integrate these intense shifts that are happening.

When uncertain, ask to be shown the next step — and at all times, do your best to listen to your body, and be extra kind to yourself and others.

Sending love and compassionate care helps to soften the energetic field that connects us all, making it easier for others to feel a deeper resonant connection in their heart.

We can come together to create the difference we want to see, rather than waiting for something to happen… Each person’s emotions, attitudes, and intentions affect the energetic field…

Ask yourself: What role do I wish to play at this pivotal time on Earth? Could I be open to the people, places, and situations guiding me and bringing me the next clue?

Could I suspend my brilliant theories about the way the world works (or used to work)? Could I accept the possibility that what I have learned in the past may not be the most reliable guide to understanding the new way of life that is unfolding?

The more healed and open our hearts, the more easily we can see what’s really true and stay true to ourselves, and the more accepting we can be of others.

And always remember your divinity and interdependence, choose love over fear, and lift yourself and humanity out of the old paradigm of separation and scarcity towards unity and abundance.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Capricorn — the article

On July 21st, at 6:17am EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun at 29 degrees of Capricorn. An exalted degree! Not only is it in the last degree of the sign, it will also be the second of two Full Moons in this particular polarity! The first one was on June 21st at 1º of Capricorn-Cancer.

The entrance of the Moon into Capricorn on July 19th, starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

All Full Moons bring greater awareness to our current situation — what’s working and what we need to change. This Full Moon in CapricornCancer asks us to pay special attention to how well we are balancing the demands of our outer and inner lives.

Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart:

  • The Moon in the last degree of Capricorn aligns with Pluto in an early degree of Aquarius
  • The Moon sextiles Neptune in Pisces (exact), and so, of course, the Sun in Cancer, which is exactly opposite the Moon, makes a Trine to Neptune
  • The Moon also trines Uranus in Taurus
  • The Moon as well as Pluto trine Mars in a very early degree of Gemini
  • Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, currently retrograde in Pisces, doesn’t make a lot of strong aspects in this Full Moon chart, but it is still within 10 degrees of Neptune and is starting from a Square with Jupiter in Gemini (which we will talk about in more detail in the next New Moon video)
  • Some other aspects worth mentioning are: Mercury’s Square to Uranus (exact), and its Trine to an exalted Chiron in Aries
  • Lastly, Venus in Leo sextiles Jupiter (almost exact) and trines the North Node in Aries

Again, this is the second of two Full Moons in Capricorn within 30 days.

This doesn’t happen too often; the last time we had two consecutive Full Moons in the same sign was in March/April 2019, in Libra-Aries — the last time it happened in the sign of Capricorn-Cancer was 19 years ago, in June/July 2005

Ask yourself: What was important in my life during the summer of 2005? Where am I ready for a major upgrade now?

Having two consecutive Moons in the same sign is particularly interesting because of the degree in which they become exact — it is usually an exalted degree.

With the current Full Moon becoming exact in 29 degrees of Capricorn, we are getting a chance to complete something, most likely something that started with the first Full Moon in 1º of Capricorn on June 21st.

This will most likely be connected to long-term goals, social status, or worldly achievements, but it might also be connected to our energetic understanding of life and our spiritual sovereignty — since Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently moving through Pisces.

This is an exalted degree because it is the last degree of the sign and, thus, the last chance for any transiting celestial body to express itself fully before changing signs.

With any Full Moon, we see things we have not been aware of before, and we get a chance to make changes if we don’t like what we see.

Ask yourself: What’s happened to me since June 21st regarding long-term goals? What needs another look? What needs to change? What is asking for completion?

Since we discussed the Capricorn-Cancer polarity at length in the first Capricorn Full Moon video, feel free to watch that or you can also read the Capricorn Full Moon article from June — but for this article let’s focus on the aspects connected to this month’s Full Moon chart, starting with the Moon:

The Moon in the last degree of Capricorn aligns with Pluto in a very early degree of Aquarius. This invites us to…

The Moon in the last degree of Capricorn aligns with Pluto in a very early degree of Aquarius. This invites us to recognize and heal our inner child energy, upbringing, family patterns, and ancestral trauma — and to observe our relationship to power, whether we feel empowered or disempowered.

Ask yourself: If I truly had a choice in the matter, what kind of future would I choose to step into? What if I became 5% more aware of my personal power? Where might I have given it away to others? And how might I begin to reclaim it?

Pluto’s involvement could foster an all-or-nothing attitude over the next two weeks toward our long-term goals, our standing in society, and our affiliations with certain groups — we might become obsessed over those things — and it might bring up a fear of “losing control”.

It’s vital to stay heart-centered and grounded — engage tools or people where possible to help us let go of our fears and surrender to/embrace the (Soul) power that already always resides within us.

If you get obsessed about your accomplishments in the world, as best as possible, remind yourself to slow down and take breaks.

Ask yourself: Am I driven by fear or love and passion? If fear, worry, concerns, etc., are present, could I simply acknowledge that experience?

Close your eyes, and ask yourself: Is what I am afraid of real right now, or is it a projection into the future? If so, could I let go of “wanting” (aka “expecting”) to create this future for myself?

Could I choose more powerfully? Could I choose a future that allows me to feel empowered, no matter the circumstances?

The Moon sextiles Neptune in Pisces (exact) — and so, of course, the Sun in Cancer, which is exactly opposite the Moon, makes a Trine to Neptune.

This invites us to soften our need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

This might also present an opportunity to release/let go of fears connected to our long-term goals.

Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my manifesting fulfilling long-term goals?

What might a good dose of trust do for my achievements? My relationship with others? Do I trust myself? My intuitive knowing? Do I trust life?

Is it at least possible that a more trusting emotional connection with others might create a more authentic and passionate engagement out there in the world?

The Moon also trines Uranus in Taurus, and the Moon and Pluto trine Mars in a very early degree of Gemini.

The Trine to Uranus gives us a chance to embrace all that is new and unusual, especially in connection with our body, our resources (talents & finances), and the planet we live on.

We are ready to experiment — but we are also invited to be realistic about our earthly realities.

Ask yourself: In what ways am I currently growing? Maturing? Achieving Self-mastery?

If I were to experience a financial breakthrough with my career or long-term goals, where might that come from? What might an unconventional approach make possible for me and others?

What am I ready to innovate or change about my body, values, and self-value?

The Moon and Pluto’s Trines to Mars help us clarify our visions and support collaboration with others on shared goals on an equal footing.

Our vitality and energy levels are at a high point. We are most likely feeling ambitious and dynamic right now and this can be a very productive time. In fact, given that our bodies are more restless, it’s essential that we keep active.

Ask yourself: What actions would bring me closer to my desired personal and global future? What visionary truths would I like to communicate to my communities or networks?

What activities would support me in constructively channeling my restless mind-body energy?

What moves me? What turns me on? Not just physically, but also emotionally and spiritually?

Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is exalted at the time of the Full Moon (as it is in its Station phase from July 14th until Aug. 9th).

We will also discuss this Station phase in more detail and in relationship to our birth charts in our next Forecasting Forum on July 19th at 1pm EDT/6pm London time.

Once you are registered, you can send me a question in advance until 11am EDT on July 19th, and I will include as many as I can in the webinar (I answer questions in the order they were received.)

As I mentioned earlier, Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently retrograde in Pisces but doesn’t make a lot of strong aspects in this Full Moon chart. That said, since it also ruled the last Full Moon in Capricorn (on June 21st), we are still strongly connected to its archetypical energy.

The main difference between this Full Moon and the last one is that Saturn is now in its retrograde motion.

Any retrograde planet invites us to see what is out of alignment between our inner and outer experience of the planet’s energy. Retrogrades direct us to make inner changes to foster forward motion and escape old patterns.

Saturn’s Retrograde motion invites us to look at our current long-term commitments and limitations regarding our spiritual practices.

We are invited to restructure anything that has slipped out of alignment with our higher Self or our heart-centeredness.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to have better boundaries and be more realistic about my own and other people’s spiritual limitations?

What is demanding my attention when it comes to my energy body? What is demanding my attention regarding my practices to honor and support my spiritual connection with all of life?

What roles do trust, prayer, or gratitude play in my achieving inner peace?

Here are some other aspects that are also part of this Full Moon chart:

Mercury in Leo squares Uranus (exact), and trines an exalted Chiron in Aries.

Mercury’s Square to Uranus could create tension in our lives; we may feel anxious or stressed by a situation involving financial stability, personal creativity, or self-expression.

Our minds may prefer things to be joyful, fun, playful, and expressive — but at the same time, we feel a great desire for financial or material progress and breakthroughs.

The tension between these two desires could leave us feeling irritable, mainly because we tend to take things quite personally now.

The best mind is an open mind, so as best as you can, go with the flow, stay open to the new and unexpectedly different, and ask yourself: Could I allow whatever is happening to stimulate new approaches?

Mercury is also in its pre-Shadow phase already, so pay attention to anything that comes up right now, as you may have to revisit it during the Mercury Retrograde phase in August and the post-Shadow phase in the first half of September.

We will also discuss all of these phases in more detail and in relationship to our birth charts in our next Forecasting Forum on July 19th at 1pm EDT/6pm London time.

Mercury’s Trine to an exalted Chiron in Aries makes it easier for us to accept and understand our own and others’ “Human-ness “. Humor can be a helpful way to explore our humanity.

We feel more confident to connect and communicate without seeing ourselves as weak or “less than”. We feel perfectly ok to be ourselves, and that may include feeling insecure.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself and others to be human? Could I enjoy that I am human? That other people are human?

What if I talked about my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities? How might this support my healing process? Someone else’s?

Venus in Leo sextiles Jupiter (almost exact), and trines the North Node in Aries.

The Sextile to Jupiter in Gemini is an opportunity to bring tolerance, optimism, and cooperation to our interactions with others.

Ask yourself: What conversations and connections would give me a new perspective on my relationships (the one with myself included)?

What might be possible in my day-to-day interactions if I were fully heart-centered and self-expressed with others? What mental attitudes could expand my heart connections with others?

Venus’ Trine to the North Node in Aries allows us to have the courage to be our authentic Selves without apologies, yet keeping an open heart and feeling grateful for all the gifts we already have in our lives.

Ask yourself: What would it look like to bring a healthy sense of identity, courage, and joyful self-expression to my collaborations and connections with others?

To sum it all up, this second Full Moon in the Capricorn-Cancer polarity reminds us that the past will inform our future, especially if we get attached to it or fearful about repeating it.

We have the power to choose what we focus on next. The future is ours to create, especially when we allow for our past to lovingly stay in the past.

Each of us has the power to make it better than it has been by opening our hearts and trusting the divine guidance available to us at all times. Again, click here to watch this month’s Members Full Moon video!

Full Moon in Capricorn — the article

On June 21st, at 9:08pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun in 1 degree of Capricorn-Cancer. This is the first of two Full Moons in this particular polarity! The second one will be on July 21st at 29º of Capricorn.

Back to the Full Moon…

Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart:

  • The Sun in Cancer aligns with Venus & Mercury and quincunxes Pluto in Aquarius
  • Mercury in Cancer squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra and sextiles Mars in Taurus
  • The Moon in Capricorn opposes all the planets currently residing in Cancer (Sun, Venus & Mercury)
  • The Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Cancer both square an exalted Neptune in the last degree of Pisces
  • Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) in almost 19.5º Pisces starts its Station phase the day after the Full Moon becomes exact, in preparation to start its yearly Retrograde phase (which will last: June 29th until Nov. 15th) More details about Saturn in a moment…

Neptune in Pisces is exalted for several reasons:

1) it is in its own sign, 2) it is in a heightened degree (29º), the last degree of Pisces, and 3) it just started its Station phase on June 18th, preparing for its yearly Retrograde (just like Saturn). Something is “in our face” concerning the feminine energies (such as allowing, resting, sensing, intuiting, and feeling into the flow of things, etc.) — and all of this plays an essential role for the next two weeks, so tune in!

First, let’s look at the polarities of this Full Moon: The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn opposes the Sun, Venus & Mercury in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the connection we have to our feelings and emotional needs, plus our ability to feel emotionally connected to others (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals out there in the world (Capricorn).

The Moon, in opposition to the Sun/Venus/Mercury alignment in Cancer, asks us to balance loving, caring connection, and sharing against our need to achieve our long-term goals.

As best as you can, steer by your own inner compass and bring your caring self to the world in a spirit of integrity and responsibility — and keep in mind that as we heal our past, we become a source of light and support for others.

Ask yourself: What would self-responsible self-care look like? How does my inner life inform my outer? What are my priorities? What am I ready to talk about or share from my past — in a vulnerable way? Can I honor my feelings and see them as valid?

Venus & Mercury, conjunct the Sun in Cancer, indicates that we need to answer some of life’s big questions: Am I partnering…

Venus & Mercury, conjunct the Sun in Cancer, indicates that we need to answer some of life’s big questions: Am I partnering with the right person? Am I living in the right place? Doing work that is right for me? Do I need to move? Pursue another vocation? Choose different partnerships (professionally and personally)?

Understanding that we all have emotional intelligence and that this intelligence comes not from thinking but from feeling into what’s needed in the moment and what feels right to us on a visceral level is essential! Ask yourself: On a spectrum of 1-10, where does my emotional intelligence lie?

What do I need to change to be better aligned with my feelings and understand my needs? Do I need to process or heal something from the past?

If something doesn’t feel right, there’s a reason — which we may not know until sometime later.

In our childhood, most of us were taught to ignore and repress our feelings, which disconnected us from our inner knowing and consequently made us question ourselves and feel vulnerable or insecure about who we are. Unprocessed feelings tend to own us and create emotional, mental, or physical health issues.

Ask yourself: what might shift for me if I were to pay attention to my thoughts and feelings without judging them? Or even questioning them? Or ascribing negative meanings to them? If I practiced this for a month, might I be able to respond to life more peacefully, rather than reactively? Might I be able to make beneficial choices rather than continually replay unconscious patterns?

Any Full Moon also has us look more closely at the denser vibrations or shadow components of the energies involved:

Cancer: This is our ability to receive and to feel safe from within — but what protected us in the past may no longer serve, as our needs may have changed over time.

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on simply out of familiarity? What do I need to feel safe in the world at this now moment?

What if self-care led to self-alignment? What if the same were true of nurturing my feeling body? Given those possibilities, might it be worth spending 5% more time and energy on self-care, just as an experiment?

With Capricorn, we need to take a look at those parts of ourselves that are domineering, rigid, unforgiving, self-servingly ambitious, status-seeking, and hierarchical.

As best as you can, be really honest with yourself, and ask: What is my relationship to “control”? Where do I try to control life? Other people? Where do I control myself by suppressing my needs or feelings? Where or when do I allow others to control me? Is it at least possible that a slower step-by-step approach might improve my ability to be present to what’s needed in the moment? And what’s in alignment with myself?

Too much emphasis on the Cancer archetype — too much subjectivity, unprocessed feelings, and suppressed needs (which leads to being resentful of neglecting our own needs) — and we become reactive, we don’t feel safe in the world or with others — our fight or flight, freeze or flock reptilian brain kicks in.

Too much emphasis on the Capricorn archetype narrows our vision by having us look outside of ourselves for approval and validation (wanting to be told what to do and who to be), or by becoming rigid about where we stand and what we want to achieve (wanting to control others). Fears of not being valued within our society can kick in or flare up.

How might nurturing myself support true empowerment and self-alignment in the outside world? Might it also help grant authentic connections toward others? And perhaps even the world at large?

Let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart:

The Moon rules Cancer, and besides its opposition to the Sun/Venus/Mercury alignment in Cancer, together with the Sun in Cancer, the Moon in Capricorn also squares an exalted Neptune in Pisces and all of this, of course, creates a T-Square with Neptune as the Focal planet! So, let’s unpack that…

This might create feelings of disconnection or anxiety. We may feel tired or sluggish if we don’t pay attention to our subtle voices and inner knowing.

Ask yourself: Where does the desire to “achieve” drown out my intuitive, subtle voice that knows and trusts that life will always provide?

The Solution with all T-squares is to focus on the empty leg, in this case, Virgo. Having a daily practice that brings us closer to ourselves — our divine selves — will be essential in the next two weeks.

Ask yourself: What might a daily practice of “kindness towards myself” look like? What might a morning practice of “visualizing my day” do for me?

How could I inspire myself to come from acceptance and understanding when dealing with work or health routines? How might making a list support me in being more present? What about discerning and prioritizing? Might these processes create an inner calm?

Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently in Pisces, and even though it is not making any exact aspects to the rest of the chart, it will be within 10 degrees of Neptune and starting its Station phase at almost 19.5º Pisces the day after the Full Moon becomes exact (on June 22nd – July 5th).

With Saturn in Pisces, we learn that the spiritual-energetic realm is just as “real” as what is perceptible to our five senses. It invites us to schedule more “Soul time,” regular periods where we turn our attention inwards and engage in ways that strengthen our connection with our Soul essence, our intuitive knowing, and allowing ourselves to “be” and trust our interconnectivity with all of life.

Depending on our childhood and social-structural conditioning, we may have to wrestle with our “Shoulds” before we can allow ourselves to rest, recharge, and reconnect with what is sacred to us.

Ask yourself: What feeds my heart and Soul? Might 5% more self-compassion & kindness create a stronger connection to my Soul-essence? How could I incorporate this practice daily over the next two weeks?

Practice makes perfect, which is something that Saturn loves — achieving mastery at something is definitely Saturn-territory.

Engaging with spiritual or creative tools daily can make a huge difference toward mastery. These practices can take many different forms, as we already discussed in our last New Moon video and article. Feel free to re-watch or re-read those.

As mentioned earlier, Neptune in Pisces is also slowing down as it prepares to come to a halt and start its Retrograde phase on July 2nd; this preparation amplifies the call to release whatever is no longer in the best interest of all concerned.

Neptune’s energy is strong, with both its higher and lower vibrations becoming clearer; this helps us connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us and shows us where we need to either embrace them more fully or connect to them in a healthier way — ways that don’t involve getting lost in the murky, lower vibrations of their expression (escapism, addiction, denial, illusions, etc.).

Ask yourself: What is my relationship to my own imagination? How do I use it? Do I tend to imagine “worse case scenarios” or visualize what I wish to create?

What’s my relationship to my intuition? If I get quiet enough, can I catch its subtle “voice”? When I hear it, can I take that moment to really heed what it says — and then trust it? Who has the last word — my mind, or my heart?

As best as you can, simply observe — this is not about doing the right or wrong thing but about becoming more aware of how we are connected to this energy.

For a more in-depth look into the Saturn & Neptune Station phases in connection with your own birth chart, feel free to join us live on June 19th at 5pm EDT/2pm PT/10pm London. Or register to receive the mp4-video recording of the live event.

The Sun’s Quincunx to Pluto in Aquarius indicates that we still need to make some inner adjustments around our personal and collective empowerment processes.

Our current comfort levels and attachments to the familiar are not a good fit with moving full-on into a future where a deep change is required so we can feel empowered — individually and collectively speaking.

Fears about the future and how we fit into it might rise up. The “survival brain” thinks that control brings power, certainty, and stability… but unfortunately, that is all an illusion based on fear. If it were so, we would all experience certainty and stability and be fully empowered at all times, given that most of us are very keen on controlling our circumstances and other people’s behaviors or attitudes.

Ask yourself: Where am I coming from a survival mentality, rather than from a whole-hearted connection? Where have my passions tipped into obsessions? What attitudes are asking to be adjusted or eliminated? What does my heart know that my head needs to hear?

Two more aspects that I want to mention here:

1) Mercury’s Sextile to Mars in Taurus

2) And Mercury’s Squares to the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra

Mercury’s Sextile to Mars in Taurus is an opportunity to connect our thoughts to actions.

Ask yourself: What actions call to me? Is there a need or a feeling that I need to follow up on? What actions support my emotional well-being?

Mercury’s Squares to the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra gives us a significant opportunity to stretch and grow on our collective and individual Soul’s Journey! It indicates a turning point — individually and collectively speaking!

We are invited to communicate our needs and feelings to others and to be mindful of self-care, so we are able to respond to life rather than react.

Ask yourself: How might having responsible conversations with others support your personal goals and collaborations? How might listening more closely or carefully be a part of that?

To sum it all upCancer and Capricorn are both receptive “yin” energies, and so are Pisces and Taurus. As we have 8 planets in Yin-signs in this Full Moon chart, as well as Neptune’s exalted energies, we are clearly asked to go within first before making a move forward externally.

When we are able to experience a balance between inner and outer, and thereby come to feel safe and a valuable part of society, we can be both responsible & kind.

Ask yourself: What importance does nourishment have in my life? Do I know when I feel nourished physically? Emotionally? Spiritually? Mentally? Do I feel connected to all of life?

What’s keeping me separate, limited, or in fear? Could I be honest about that? And once I have acknowledged what that might be, could I decide to let it go, just for right now?

Full Moon in Sagittarius — the article

On May 23rd at 9:53am EDTthe Full Moon in almost 3 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We start to feel the Full Moon build from the moment the Moon enters Sagittarius early that same morning.

For the next two weeks, we seek balance as we become more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).

If you are a Member of my online community and would like to learn more, click here to watch my Full Moon video

Before we dive in, I invite you to join me on Saturday, June 29th. I will be doing a One-day Yoga/Astrology Retreat with the lovely Sam Lodge in the country, near Robinson Township, outside of Pittsburgh. Whether you live in the area or would like to come visit, check out my Retreat page for more info!

I will just say this: This is an amazing opportunity to spend 7 hours exploring yourself (body, mind, spirit) and nature in the company of other like-minded souls. Your body, mind, and Soul will thank you for this whole-hearted experience.

I am currently offering Early Bird Pricing**, so sign up now before the price goes up! We can only accommodate 10 beautiful Souls, so I will notify everyone when we have reached capacity.

==> Sam and I will do an Instagram Live on May 25th, to answer questions and share about our One Day Retreat, feel free to join us here at 1pm EDT to get all the juicy information <==

**Members of my online community will still be able to get a 25% discount from June 16th to 28th. So, even if you miss the Early Bird Pricing, you can still get an amazing discount after that’s over, as long as we still have spots available. Again, this is only available to my active Members!

Here’s a quick overview of what I’ll discuss in this article:

  • The Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Pluto in Aquarius, which means that the Sun in Gemini trines Pluto.
  • Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, aligns with Venus in Taurus, both at 29º (an exalted degree)!
  • Venus enters Gemini only 12 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact, and Jupiter will follow suit two days later (on May 25th)
  • Jupiter & Venus sextile Neptune in Pisces (with Neptune at 29º!)
  • Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is also in Taurus, making a wide Square to Pluto in Aquarius.
  • Mars is currently in its domicile sign and will be sandwiched between the North Node & Chiron in Aries at the time of the Full Moon.

More about the specifics in a moment, but one thing to remember: Full Moons are always times of awareness and culmination. We see things we have not seen before and get to make changes if we don’t like what we see.

So think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 7th: What seeds were planted then? What has “sprouted” since? What are you aware of now that was not apparent before?

Before we talk about all of the aspects of this Full Moon, let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:

Gemini deals with information exchange, observation, and objectivity, while Sagittarius deals with what’s beyond our thinking — indeed, beyond information — this includes things like interpretation and ethics.

In other words, what do we think, believe, and “really know”? We are invited to become more aware of the difference between facts vs. beliefs, truth vs. fabrication, and meaningful activity vs. diversions.

At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us…

At its highest vibrationSagittarius shows us a broader perspective, which has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained.

It’s all about seeking a higher truth and meaning for life’s challenges — a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations.

So that’s Sagittarius’s highest vibration — what of its shadow side?

When we suppress this energy inside of us, we become unquestioningly attached to our belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves about life — and therefore self-righteous — perhaps we even persecute those who differ in their point of view. We are also more easily susceptible to excesses of all kinds.

Now let’s look at Gemini: at its highest vibration, this sign helps us stay connected to our immediate environment and “day-to-day mind” — processing and sharing as much information as we can, as quickly as possible — we stay curious, constantly looking for ways to learn what we need to connect all the dots and communicate intelligently.

When we suppress the higher vibration of the Gemini energy, we likewise move into its shadow side: superficiality, talking without listening, chattering randomly, sharing information without substance or meaning, collecting lots of facts but having little knowledge, staying busy so the mind doesn’t get bored, and allowing the mind to dominate our physical, emotional & spiritual connection to life.

Ask yourself: What is the difference between information and interpretation? Or information and comprehension?

What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions and what I think I know? Who do I think I am? Why are things the way they are?

What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a more expansive view?

Let’s talk about the specific aspects of this Full Moon chart:

The Moon in Sagittarius not only opposes the Sun in Gemini but also sextiles Pluto in Aquarius; this means the Sun in Gemini trines Pluto.

With this combo, we have an opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, focus on the bigger picture, or take a deep dive into something that gets us excited about the future.

This is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — and anybody — that no longer connects with who we are.

Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments do not foster an empowered future for myself or others? Could I lovingly acknowledge and release them (just as best as I can)? Would I be willing to do that, just for now?

Through meaningful and authentic conversations with others — as well as staying curious and open-minded towards those interactions — we can experience powerful connections and that will help us make more powerful choices for our future.

Ask yourself: How might I find authentic ways to empower myself and others? What would it look like if I were more truthful and open in my connection with others?

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, aligns with Venus in Taurus, both at 29º (an exalted degree)! This connection brings a certain optimism to our social and personal relationships, together with a tremendous desire for abundance and physical comfort.

Our personal growth feels important at this time — particularly around our relationship with ourselves, our sense of self-worth, and our sense of our value to the world.

Ask yourself: How abundant do I feel in this now-moment? What if I cultivated self-love and self-honoring 5% more than I have previously? How might that feel? What might it look like?

A planet in the last degree of a sign feels “louder” as it is trying to express as much as it can of the current sign before moving into the next — sort of a “last hurrah” before moving on.

This would also indicate a strong urge to complete something, most likely something that began when Jupiter started its journey through Taurus on May 16th, 2023.

Ask yourself: What was my relationship to the physical realm back then? What is it now? Do I feel more connected to my intrinsic value now vs. then?

Jupiter & Venus both sextiles Neptune in Pisces, Neptune will also be at 29º! It’s a 29 degree-bonanza!

Are you feeling more sensitive? More in-tune with others? With yourself? Well, that’s not entirely surprising. This combo is an opportunity for boundaries to dissolve — to open and relax. A sensitive approach is recommended, whether that’s with yourself or with others. You might also need a little more rest than usual.

Ask yourself: What if I allowed the Universe to co-create with me? What would that look like? Might slowing things down just a notch give my “Higher Self” or “Source” the opportunity to step in and give me a hand?

Creative or spiritual adventures might be a good fit with this planetary connection too, so ask yourself: What creative or spiritual adventures are calling to me? Which of them might be a good fit?

What might show up in my world if I spent some time contemplating or daydreaming on those things?

Venus enters Gemini only 6.5 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact, and Jupiter will follow suit two days later (on May 25th). This will be quite the energy shift, since Taurus prefers to enjoy the physical realm and move slowly, while Gemini prefers to move fast and think on its feet.

Feel free to watch my webinar: “Jupiter in Gemini until June 2025— we applied Jupiter’s movement to our own birth charts! If you are reading this before May 22nd and would like to join us live, register here by May 22nd at 12pm EDT.

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is also in Taurus, making a wide Square to Pluto in Aquarius (exact on May 17th).

With Mercury in Taurus until June 3rd, we are more likely to take a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful.

The wide Square to Pluto invites us to stretch and grow and make some changes, particularly in terms of our thinking processes.

Ask yourself: How can I empower myself and others 5% more today? What needs to be said? What doesn’t?

We likely have tremendous focus and drive right now, which can tip into obsession — with this aspect, an all-or-nothing attitude is quite possible. Choose love over fear whenever possible.

Ask yourself: What might happen if I focused 5% more on what I actually have control over? If I observe an “all-or-nothing” attitude in myself, could I give myself permission to relax into the “love energy” that always resides inside of me?

Mars is currently in its domicile sign, and will be sandwiched between the North Node & Chiron in Aries at the time of the Full Moon.

This combo asks us to focus on a healthy expression of masculine energies — like courage, initiative, and taking risks that do not harm ourselves for others — all coming from a place of passion and enthusiasm rather than death, destruction, and domination.

A wholistic approach is best here! Allow yourself to connect to spirit, and always keep in mind that you are HUMAN and are experiencing life as a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual being.

Healing happens when we can acknowledge our own humanness and bring love and compassion to the parts of ourselves that are wounded, sensitive, less than, or a bit “extra” (aka “too much”).

Ask yourself: What if I were enough, exactly as I am? Did my ancestors struggle to relax into their own humanness? Could I open my heart to the part of me that feels the pain of that? Could I give myself permission to do what my ancestors could not?

When we get scared that we are not enough as we are, we tend to get triggered more easily, and that can express itself as anger, righteousness, stubbornness, stonewalling, greed, hoarding, impatience, intimidation, co-dependency, addiction, shaming, blaming… and in many other ways.

Ask yourself: Might staying in touch with what I love help me move through those moments of fear? What might be some simple ways to do that?

To sum it all up: This Full Moon reminds us that truth is in the eye of the beholder and that what we see depends on where we stand and have already been.

Ask yourself: What am I currently seeking? What is no longer true for me? What convictions and misperceptions are holding me back from experiencing a life of abundance? What beliefs or narratives are keeping me from experiencing happiness?

This Full Moon also invites us to practice our connection to empathy, intuition, and inspiration — a compassionate approach towards our human persona works best. So, over the next two weeks, ask yourself: How open can I be to being courageously myself, with all my sensitivities and insecurities?

It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, knowing that our sense of balance must come from within and (as best as we can) staying rooted in the inner knowing that all is well, no matter what we perceive or tell ourselves about those perceptions.

Ask yourself: What experiences outside my day-to-day routines might widen my perspective and understanding of life? Who supports my journey toward greater self-realization? Could I allow any such connections to grow stronger and more meaningful?

Full Moon in Scorpio — the article

On April 23rd, at 7:49pm EDTthe Moon opposes the Sun in 4 degrees of Scorpio. The entrance of the Moon into Scorpio earlier that same day begins the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

The Moon, in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, opposes the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus. This offers an opportunity for a deeper, more authentic connection with ourselves and others.

Eclipse Season ended on April 18th. We have now received our consciousness upgrades! Tune in for a moment: Do you feel any differently now than you did before March 15th?

Another thing to consider: on Oct. 28th, 2023, we had a Lunar Eclipse in 5 degrees of Taurus-Scorpio. Since this Full Moon is in a similar degree, check to see what has been coming up since then when it comes to facing your fears and valuing yourself and your authentic relationships with others.

Ask yourself: What inauthentic (or even toxic) relationships must I still release or transform to step into greater abundance and happiness? What fears must likewise be released or transformed?

This Full Moon will most likely stimulate our emotional body and increase our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. We may feel more easily triggered as buried emotions, motivations, and fears surface. Please be aware of projections and jumping to conclusions.

If you are unsure whether you are projecting something on someone else, check for defensiveness, over-reactivity, or difficulty being objective while exhibiting rigid behaviors.

If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Members Full Moon video.

There are several aspects worth mentioning in this Full Moon chart:

  • Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio) is currently in Aquarius — and highly exalted — squares the Full Moon polarity in ScorpioTaurus
  • Mars (the co-ruler of Scorpio), currently in Pisces, aligns with Neptune and sextiles the Jupiter-Uranus alignment in Taurus
  • Venus (the ruler of Taurus), currently in Aries, aligns with Chiron, and a highly exalted Mercury
  • A highly exalted Mercury in Aries aligns with the North Node and comes to a halt less than two days after the Full Moon becomes exact (on April 25th) — ending its 3-week Retrograde phase.
  • Last but not least, Saturn in Pisces semi-sextiles the Mercury-North Node alignment in Aries and semi-squares Pluto in Aquarius

We will cover all of that in a moment, but first…

For the next two weeks, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities and are aware that something needs to be brought into alignment; the balance in question is between our physical attachments, aversions, and connections — symbolized by Taurus— and our emotional attachments, aversions, and connections (Scorpio).

The time of the Full Moon brings greater awareness to what was unconscious or hidden previously. This particular one invites us to let go of fears or disempowering behaviors.

So, here’s this Full Moon’s central question: As a society, are we living in alignment with our values, with what makes us happy and satisfied?

How about as individuals? Do we feel empowered and emotionally fulfilled? Are there any fears that serve as obstacles on the path to progress? Or perhaps some rigid thought processes?

Let’s take a closer look at the two signs involved in this Full Moon polarity…

Let’s take a closer look at the two signs involved in this Full Moon polarity:

Taurus seeks comfort and material stability. It’s concerned with our relationship to the planet, and with the physical plane in general — and also with a hugely important part of our relationship with ourselves, namely “self-esteem”.

Of course, Taurus also has a shadow side: attachment to material things, especially when using them to make up for low self-esteem, seeking to feel better about ourselves through indulging in physical pleasures, immovability, and wanting to keep things the same, usually so we don’t experience physical discomfort.

Scorpio, on the other hand, craves transformation — and it seeks this in part by putting us in touch with our deepest desires and worst fears, bringing them into conscious awareness, so that we can see and release what no longer serves, or whatever has become stale or toxic. Put another way, it helps us move from a “survival mentality” to a passionate engagement with life.

Ask yourself: Where in my own life do I observe a “survival mentality”? In what ways might I have protected myself from feelings of hurt or disempowerment?

It’s essential to bring conscious awareness to the walls we have built to feel protected and more “empowered”. Addressing past traumas and any sense of disempowerment is the only way to allow for the return of trust toward others (and life in general). By acknowledging our fears and breaking down those walls, we can transform into truly powerful beings of love and inner strength.

What is Scorpio’s shadow?

Attachment to emotional connections (even if they are toxic), avoidance of emotional pain, armoring and protecting ourselves from incidents of disempowerment that no longer exist outside of memory, trust issues, black-and-white thinking, addiction to drama and darkness (or substances)… and anything we want to prevent: Scorpio’s shadow has us coming from an instinctual, self-protective place, rather than from intuitive, love-based spaciousness.

Scorpio wants to go beyond the surface, to our deeper motivations. For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where do my behaviors bring disempowerment to others or myself? Where do my behaviors simply bring pain? What propels my sense of attraction or repulsion? What turns me on about life? What scares me?

Now, let’s talk about some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart, starting with Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio):

Pluto in Aquarius — highly exalted as it prepares to start its yearly Retrograde phase — squares the Full Moon polarity in Scorpio-Taurus, creating a T-square with Pluto as the Focal point.

Squares usually offer an invitation to “stretch and grow” and do things differently. Since the Sun and Moon are involved, we want to break free from the past and any financial or intimacy issues that don’t feel empowering.

With Pluto as the Focal Point, this could increase emotionality or feelings of being out of control (and therefore wanting control)

Ask yourself: What am I most scared about regarding my future? Do I have concerns about my connections with like-minded people?

Am I ready for some profound changes? What needs to happen so I can shift my current situation? Where am I looking to create more empowerment? What role does “trust” play in all of this?

Where do I feel out of control? Where am I trying too hard to self-protect or control an outcome? Could I release all my fears and trust life, just for right now? How about right now? Or even right now?

With a T-square — especially when Pluto is the Focal Point — we are invited to integrate the opposite sign (the empty leg) for balance and true empowerment. With the focal point in Aquarius, that balance comes from courageously hearty-centered and self-expressed Leo.

Ask yourself: What does my heart desire? What does my heart want to express? How might a self-expressed and courageously heartfelt approach serve my communities and foster more empowering collaborations?

What might open up if I placed 5% more focus on gratitude and being heart-centered self-expression?

Mars (the co-ruler of Scorpio), currently in Pisces, aligns with Neptune and sextiles the Jupiter-Uranus alignment in Taurus.  Let’s unpack all of that.

Mars’ alignment with Neptune in Pisces invites us to connect to spiritual or creative endeavors, to go with the flow whenever we can, and to see what it would feel like to let go of using our personal will to get things done — instead, to allow the flow of life to inform our next move.

In other words, check to see: Am I “the Doer” or is “Doing” simply occurring?

If or when we cannot tune in and trust the flow, we might get confused or disappointed; things might seem a little foggy. Check in with others (or with Source) when creating new goals for yourself during this transit: get reality checks!

Remember: the more we fight against any energy pattern, the more we experience its densest vibration. As best as you can, let go and let flow!

Mars’ sextile to the Jupiter-Uranus alignment in Taurus provides an opportunity to create some forward movement in our lives, especially in connection to our physical reality (finances, our body, our talents, etc).

We can more easily draw on our divine masculine (taking action or creating from a place of flow and intuition) when engaging with the physical realm.

Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my enjoyment of life? My physical well-being?

What might merging my five senses with my sixth sense bring to awareness? What small step could I take toward this?

While Uranus transits through Taurus (May 15, 2018 to November 7, 2025) we are invited to transcend old mindsets around money, values, and security.

On the other hand, Jupiter in Taurus teaches us that more is not necessarily better, that quality matters more than quantity, and that abundance is a matter of perspective.

Jupiter and Uranus only meet every 14 years. Their cycles correspond with beliefs in the ability to make progress in a particular area of life — sometimes leading to social upheaval. We may also see upheaval in the natural world, for example with floods, severe storms, tornados, and earthquakes. It’s all about “shaking things up” in general.

We also discuss the Jupiter-Uranus alignment in greater detail in our Forecasting Forum on April 24th at 5pm EDT/2pm PDT. Join us live or register to receive the replay! ==> EARLY BRIRD SPECIAL available until Monday, April 22nd at midnight EDT!

Now, back to the Full Moon chart: Venus (the ruler of Taurus), currently in Aries, aligns with Chiron and a highly exalted Mercury.

Venus’ alignment with Chiron in Aries asks us to love ourselves and heal deep fears of being “not good enough”.

Ask yourself: If I looked at my limitations through the lens of the human-soul alliance, might it help heal my relationship with my human persona — how I present myself to the world — and my relationships with others?

Could I bring the gifts of compassion, understanding, and forgiveness to my insecurities, sensitivities, or feelings of unworthiness? Could I also gift that to others?

With Mercury involved, we also need to think about how to best talk about our childhood (or ancestral) wounding in connection with the wounded masculine.

When we share or open up about what feels uncomfortable (or where we feel separate from others) and talk about what triggers us, we take another step towards wholeness. And that’s part of the healing process.

Check: Does blaming or judging myself for being “imperfect” or “overly sensitive” serve me? How about when I do that to others? Who is served when I do this?

Healing happens much faster when we are open to forgiving and embracing ourselves exactly as we are (and are not).

Remember: Our past wounding (and ancestral wounding) makes us more sensitive to certain things, which is why we sometimes get triggered.

Ask yourself: Could I be open to the possibility that my “imperfections” and sensitivities — whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual — exist to serve not only my personal evolution but also that of humanity’s? If that were true, what else would need re-evaluating?

Mercury comes to a halt (on April 25th at 16º01’ Aries) less than two days after the Full Moon becomes exact — ending its first full Retrograde phase of the year that began on April 1st at 27º11’ Aries. Mercury’s energy is thus highly exalted during the Full Moon.

Ask yourself: What has come up in my life around new beginnings? Things I feel passionate about? Walking my path? Am I still aligned with what I initiated before April 1st?

Because of its Retrograde passage, Mercury extended its customary passage in Aries this year from three weeks to almost ten weeks (March 9th to May 15th), giving us extra time and encouragement for new endeavors. This also allows us more time to look at our goals and passions and the path we are forging for ourselves.

Ask yourself: Where could I go even further out of my comfort zone?

Mercury’s alignment with the North Node in Aries emphasizes the necessity of a healthy inner dialog about our passions, personal goals, active pursuits, and our current independent path.

Ask yourself: How can I connect 5% more with things I feel passionate about? What makes me feel alive and engaged? What might it look like if I had a healthy relationship with my human identity?

Last, Saturn in Pisces semi-sextiles the Mercury-North Node alignment in Aries and semi-squares Pluto in Aquarius. Let’s unpack that.

Saturn’s semi-sextile to the Mercury-North Node alignment in Aries asks us to acknowledge our often conflicting desires and find constructive ways to satisfy them.

Saturn in Pisces asks us to take it slow and steady, and to master a spiritual understanding of ourselves and life.

As mentioned earlier, the Mercury-North Node alignment in Aries wants us to focus on a healthy dialog with our current human identity. It wants us to go after what we feel passionate about — to get out of our comfort zone.

We can see here that we need to navigate some conflicting desires. Could I acknowledge that I must practice being present and connected to my intuitive knowing, and that I also have a desire for moving towards a new adventure? Once I have acknowledged these seemingly conflicting desires, could I make space for both?

Saturn’s semi-square to Pluto in Aquarius shows us that we may need to make an extra effort to connect to others in an empowering way.

Over the next two weeks, ask yourself: What if I made an effort to practice being neutral about others — and with external social or political occurrences? What if I decided right now to make this a daily practice for the next 14 days?

To sum it up, this potent Full Moon highlights the power “traumas and fears” play in our lives. We get a chance to learn about the power of emotions, the power of the unconscious, and the power of truth.

It challenges us to rethink our interactions with others, use our power wisely, and remember we are all interconnected.

For the next two weeks, experiment with this question: Just for today, could I trust my ability to belong and be part of an empowerment process that serves the collective and the future I am “living into”?

Use the power of this Full Moon to get grounded in your physical and emotional body, break up any stagnation in your system or relationships, and accelerate your transformation by immersing yourself in a deeper connection to all of life.

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on to addictions or obsessions that leave me feeling less happy in the end? Is there a clear path from current physical realities to my vision for the future? If not, what needs to change — the path, the vision, or the current situation?

How could my breath support me in effortlessly releasing the old and allowing the new to flow in? If my breath gave my body the message that “all is well”, would I consider implementing “conscious breathing” more often?

Infuse your daily routines with a heart-centered attitude that promotes health & healing; if you can, go for walks in nature, take yoga classes, practice walking mediations, or dance and sing your way through the living room.

Remember, you don’t have to do anything the way you’ve always done it; you can choose to do it whichever way makes you most happy and supports your current reality…

It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, knowing all the while that our sense of balance must come from within, staying rooted in the inner knowing that all is well.

Ask yourself: Where have I tried to control something outside of myself? How might a realistic focus on myself and what I do have influence over, support my efforts at this time?

We may also see upheaval in the natural world, for example with floods, severe storms, tornados, and earthquakes. It’s all about “shaking things up” in general.

Lunar Eclipse in Libra — the article

On March 25th at 3am EDT/7am GMTthe Moon opposes the Sun in 5 degrees of Libra/Aries. The entrance of the Moon into Libra on March 24th begins the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

This powerful Full Moon is a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse (the most subtle kind of Lunar Eclipses). It can be viewed in parts of Antarctica, the western half of Africa, western Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, North and South America, the Pacific Ocean, Japan, and the eastern half of Australia.

It lasts for approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for four months and twenty days. Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind that eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. This means we may feel more easily triggered as buried emotions, motivations, and fears surface. Beware of projections and jumping to conclusions.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within two weeks; it offers an opportunity for a more balanced connection to life and others.

If you are unsure whether you are projecting something on someone else, check for defensiveness, overreactivity, or difficulty being objective while exhibiting rigid behaviors.

==> If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to also watch my Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse video here

==> If not, don’t worry: right now, you can get the first month of the Universal Membership for FREE (cancel anytime via your Membership portal).

The Lunar Eclipse video is also included when you get this powerful 95 minute webinar about Eclipse Season & Mercury Retrograde in Aries.

Eclipse Season started on March 15th and lasts until April 18th (that’s 10 days after the Solar Eclipse in Aries that follows this Lunar Eclipse).

So the questions here are: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?

Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

This is the first South Node Lunar Eclipse in Libra since the Moon Nodes have shifted into the Aries-Libra polarity in July of last year — highlighting issues around relationship dynamics (“me” vs. “we”) and assertion vs. collaboration.

The Moon Nodes usually remain in any particular polarity for 18 months. They return to the same polarity every 18-19 years.

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads symbolized by the signs involved.

The North Node in Aries emphasizes the necessity of a healthy connection with oneself — with our passions, personal goals, active pursuits, and our current independent path.

The South Node in Libra extends an invitation to create a more balanced connection between ourselves, others, and life — and to take a closer look at any dependency issues with others.

There was a Full Moon in 5º of Libra in March of 2005 when the Moon Nodes were in the Aries-Libra polarity as they are right now, however the Moon Nodes where too far away from the Full Moon polarity, for it to be an Eclipse. Therefore, the last time we had a South Node Lunar Eclipse in Libra was in April 1987.

Think back to that time — if you are old enough to remember: What needed to change about your relationship with yourself and with others?

There are several aspects worth mentioning in this Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse chart:

  • The Moon in Libra not only opposes the Sun but also Chiron in Aries, and it trines Pluto in Aquarius
  • Venus, the ruler of Libra, is currently in Pisces, closely aligned with Saturn and in a wide conjunction with Neptune in Pisces
  • The Venus-Saturn alignment in Pisces sextiles the Jupiter-Uranus alignment in Taurus
  • Venus also quincunxes the South Node in Libra
  • Mars, the ruler of Aries, is currently in an early degree of Pisces and makes a semi-sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, as well as a wide conjunction to Saturn in Pisces
  • Mercury entered its pre-Shadow phase @16º of Aries on March 18th and will begin to slow down (station) @26/27º of Aries on March 28th, starting its 3.5-week Retrograde phase on April 1st! (See Forecasting Forum March 22nd)

We will address all of these aspects in a moment — but first, let’s take a look at the Libra-Aries polarity:

The Libra-Aries polarity highlights…

The Libra-Aries polarity highlights the spiritual dance between various polarities:
* individual drives/goals and one-on-one relationships
* masculine and feminine (in their ideal versions)
* independence and collaboration

Whether we are single or partnered up, we are all in relationship to someone — any one-on-one relationship counts here — business, personal, health-related, etc.

For the next 4.5 months, we seek a balance between ourselves (symbolized by Aries) and others (Libra); it’s important here to realize that relationships are essential to our existence and play a crucial role both in defining and achieving our personal goals/desires.

We are also invited to look at the balance of feminine and masculine within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask yourself: Where have feminine and masculine gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much of one? Of both? What about too little?

Aries symbolizes our requirement to be individuals who are free to explore and express themselves; Libra, on the other hand, represents our desire to feel connected and see both sides of the coin by examining contrast and comparison.

Ask yourself: Where in my life do I need to be more authentic? Assertive? Understanding and considerate? Who am I being in my relationships? Who am I being in the relationship between me and myself?

The Sun in Aries calls us to look at the roles that “assertion” and “independence” play in our lives. We’re called to find ways to develop a healthy sense of self — and total honesty is crucial here, with ourselves and with others.

The Moon in Libra emphasizes the need for collaboration, objectivity, consideration, equality, balance, justice, etc. But, as you can tell, the spotlight now swings over to our relationships…

Full Moons also illuminate the shadow side of each sign. Please note that the Shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace, but it is an essential process to move into the lighter vibrations of any sign.

Aries’s “denser/lower” vibrations can be rash, impulsive, insensitive, domineering, and (at worst) combative. Connecting with the highest vibration of Libra will help us stay away from the denser vibrations of Aries.

As best as you can, allow the higher vibrations of Aries to shine through — these include courage, openness towards the new, directness, and a healthy sense of identity.

The shadow side of Libra is being insincere, people-pleasing, hesitant, indecisive, co-dependent, and reluctantly giving in to things without protest. Connecting with the highest vibration of Aries will help us stay away from the denser vibrations of Libra.

Let’s talk about what’s important in this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart:

The Moon in Libra not only opposes the Sun, it also opposes the North Node/Chiron alignment in Aries, and it trines Pluto in Aquarius. So, let’s unpack that, starting with the Oppositions:

When the Moon in Libra opposes planets in Aries, especially when it includes Chiron, we are invited to become more aware that nothing and no one is really separate.

Consciously or unconsciously, we are always in relationships; as always, all relationships begin with our relationship with ourselves.

Since Oppositions can be acted out within relationships, we might get triggered by others and become defensive or touchy in the next 4.5 months.

Ask yourself: Could I acknowledge what is getting stirred up inside me by someone who cannot have equal relationships? How might I balance my need for equal connection and harmony with my desire for self-fulfillment and complete independence?

Resentments or frustrations can surface with this opposition — and someone may be poking at our wounds or pointing out our shortcomings, bringing up our insecurities or secret shame that is connected not only to what is happening at that moment but also to our past — especially our childhood.

If this happens, locate the original pain or wound as best as you can, and bring compassion, love, understanding, and forgiveness to yourself (particularly towards your younger Self). Healing can only occur if we embrace our limitations and love our most vulnerable and wounded places.

Ask yourself: How might I be able to support myself and others on our various healing journeys? What if taking a compassionate approach to myself and my insecurities or triggers made for more fulfilling connections with others?

Could I allow others to engage with me in a way that facilitates a more holistic exploration of my “persona”? How about vice versa? Could I engage with others in a way that promotes a more holistic inquiry into their persona, identity, or personal goals?

The Moon’s trine to Pluto in Aquarius brings a sense of empowerment to our relationships and collaborations with others. We tend to want to connect to others on a deeper level. Ideologies connected to group consciousness might influence how we interact with others.

Any relationship or collaboration that ends over the next 4.5 months may leave us feeling liberated.

Ask yourself: What (or who) am I feeling drawn to from a deep instinctual place? How can I bring 5% more emotional authenticity to my vision for the future? What might become possible if I created more profound and authentic connections with like-minded people?

Venus, the ruler of Libra, is currently in Pisces, closely aligned with Saturn and in a wide conjunction with Neptune in Pisces.

The alignment to Saturn brings a sense of maturity and commitment to our relationship with the divine.

This might not be the best time to get involved in a brand-new relationship, as we are more committed to our inner processes now; in fact, this might be a good time to release any relationships that no longer align with our Soul’s desire for unity and heartfelt connections.

Ask yourself: What supports me in trusting my inner divine knowing? What doesn’t? What relationships do I genuinely want to commit myself to? Which ones are asking for more distance or better boundaries?

What tools or structures support me in being in the flow, fully present, and open to guidance from “higher places”?

Venus’ wide conjunction with Neptune in Pisces adds a desire for gentle oneness and soul-connection with others.

Ask yourself: What might happen if I let myself be held by the divine? Could I place 5% more trust in life and its mysterious ways? How might an “energy hug for all living beings” support an experience of oneness and unity?

The Venus-Saturn alignment in Pisces sextiles the Jupiter-Uranus alignment in Taurus. A diligent practice of connection to the divine can help us with any unpredictability in the physical realm.

When it comes to our finances and personal talents/self-worth, we are more easily inspired to innovate and reinvent; allowing ourselves to be guided by intuition or higher forces will ease this process.

Ask yourself: What opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as well as “how”? What might transpire if I brought 5% more trust and intuitive flow to my physical reality?

Where does my unique value lie? How could I gently and consistently tune into that once-in-a-universe value?

Venus also quincunxes the South Node in Libra, which could create confusion, spaciness, or the need to inspire others, combined with puzzlement over how to do so.

Given this, for the next 4.5 monthsask yourself: What in my relationships doesn’t seem to fit my ideals, dreams, or need for inner connection?

What calls out to be addressed in my relationships? Where am I hiding out? Could I give myself some space, time, and love around this?

What if compassion was a great asset when connecting with others (for myself and others)?

Remember: The best way to deal with Quincunxes is not to hunt endlessly for the exact solution but to find ways to feel okay with imperfect answers. Awareness is key!

Mars, the ruler of Aries, is currently in an early degree of Pisces and makes a semi-sextile to Pluto in Aquarius and a wide conjunction to Saturn in Pisces.

Semi-sextiles ask us to acknowledge our often conflicting desires and find ways to satisfy them constructively.

Mars in Pisces wants to engage in spiritual or creative endeavors. We feel passionate about music or romantic connections with others.

Pluto in Aquarius is a profound transformative process. It invites us to raise our consciousness around behaviors or motivations that come from a fearful place — thereby disempowering us and others. This is especially true around any group causes or affiliations that want to create “a better future” for us all.

We can see here that there are some conflicting desires to be navigated.

Ask yourself: How could a more sensitive approach towards others and myself support collaborations for a better future?

Could I acknowledge that I desire silent/romantic connection and mental/social empowerment? Once I have acknowledged these seemingly conflicting desires, could I make space for both?

Mars’ wide conjunction to Saturn in Pisces adds a message to take it slow and steady and focus on a spiritual understanding of ourselves and life.

This alignment will become much stronger over the next couple of weeks, and will be especially strong at the time of the Solar Eclipse in Aries, on April 8th.

Ask yourself: How could I take more responsibility for a stronger connection to my own divinity and to all of life?

What would form a stable foundation for my various creative or spiritual projects? Where might taking it slow and heeding my intuitive knowing pay off down the line?

Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase @16º of Aries on March 18th and will begin to slow down (station) @26/27º of Aries on March 28th, starting its 3.5-week Retrograde phase on April 1st!

Mercury is the planet of communication and information exchange. Communication starts within our minds — our inner dialog is the seed for all outer communication.

When Mercury moves through its pre-Shadow phase, it’s time to pay attention to what comes up in our lives in connection with new beginnings, things we feel passionate about, and walking our path.

Whatever mental connections, thoughts, or conversations we initiate between March 18th and April 1st must be reviewed during the Mercury Retrograde phase (after April 1st).

I want to mention again that we’ll be covering Mercury’s first full Retrograde phase of the year in Aries and Eclipse Season in my next Forecasting Forum — so feel free to join us live on March 22nd at 1pm EDT/5pm (London time)!

To sum it all up: This powerful Full Moon highlights the need to balance initiative, courage, and self-reliance with teamwork, consideration, and fairness.

For the next 4.5 months, it’s essential to take a caring and holistic approach towards ourselves and others; this means kindness and compassion on a mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual level!

Ask yourself: Where am I in or out of balance? Is it possible that when something sounds good but doesn’t feel right, it’s either not “right” for me at this time or not “right” at all?

Our problems won’t be defeated by fighting them, but by understanding them and changing the conditions that gave birth to them.

So, as best as you can, talk about what ails you and share your pain without stepping into victim behaviors. And always remember: Love empowers, fear paralyzes.

As we remain in Eclipse Season until April 18th, the coming weeks could offer some tailwinds that carry us to significant breakthroughs; we are invited to learn how to be conscious creators, mindful of how our thinking and choices affect our personal and collective experiences.

As best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

Stay grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 3-4 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to observe the urge — unless it is connected to something that happens organically — if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better hold off until Eclipse Season ends on April 18th!

Again, if you would like more details on this complex and powerful Full Moon, you can click here and watch my video on the subject.

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 5 degrees of Libra:

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 0-10 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Virgo — the article

The next Full Moon will be “exact” on February 24th, at 7:30am EST in 5.5 degrees of Virgo — and by then, we are halfway through the Lunar cycle that started on Feb. 9th.

Look at the New Moon Intentions you set around Feb. 10th or 11th, and ask yourself: How far have I come with those Intentions? If I’m not where I’d like to be with my goals, what new course might bring them closer?

If you are already a Member of my online community, I invite you to watch my Full Moon video.

We start to feel the build-up towards this Full Moon when the Moon enters Virgo on Feb 23rd at 8:37pm EST.

This particular Full Moon has a planetary line-up in Aquarius (squaring Jupiter in Taurus) and a line-up in Pisces (sextiling Jupiter).

We will also examine some Moon aspects, including a Trine to Jupiter (the traditional ruler of Pisces) and the Opposition to Mercury & Saturn in Pisces. More about all of this in a moment…

We also have Chiron, the Wounded Healer, closely aligned with the North Node (our Soul’s current focus). We’ll look at this long-term aspect in more detail — in connection with our birth charts — in our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Friday, Feb. 23rd, at 5pm EST/2pm PST/10pm London time.

This alignment started to build in July of 2023 and will last until June 17th, 2024; it is at its most intense between January 24th and March 25th, 2024.

Chiron represents a bridge between the physical and the spiritual world. It invites us to focus on a more holistic approach towards our passions and our physical activities — in other words, a healing process of the masculine energies in our world.

We may feel more physically sensitive or humbled by our current human journey — and it is essential that we see ourselves and everyone else out there as “human”, acknowledging that the human experience is not easy, especially when we hold on to the idea of separation and duality.

So, if you want to know how Chiron’s alignment with the North Node in Aries impacts you personally, SIGN UP to join the webinar LIVE or register to receive an mp4 video presentation within 24 hours of the live event. The EARLY BIRD SPECIAL is still available until Feb. 21st at midnight EST! And all of my Universal Members now get a 10% discount for all my monthly Forecasting Forums!

Star Members: You are still automatically registered at no extra cost and will receive an email with a link to join live on Feb. 23rd — and you will also automatically receive a video recording within 24 hours of the live event.

If you are reading this after Feb. 23rd, it’s too late to join live, but you can still get the mp4-video recording of “Healing on a Personal & Collective level Chiron and the North Node in Arieshere.

Now, a Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; in this case, the Moon also opposes Mercury and Saturn in Pisces. During any opposition, we seek balance, alignment, and integration around two “opposing” perspectives.

We often experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.

The balance we seek between Virgo and Pisces seems to be…

The balance we seek between Virgo and Pisces seems to be the fundamental challenge of our time: to integrate head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion.

This Full Moon shows each of us how far we have come with integrating those two seemingly opposite archetypes within ourselves — and how far we have yet to go.

You can ask yourself: How could I simplify my life to have more rest and recharge time? Where do I need to do less and let myself “be”?

Virgo learns how our thoughts and emotions impact our health, the difference between impeccability and perfectionism, and strives to embody what it knows and discovers.

When Virgo and Pisces are integrated, we are moved by love, gratitude, and joy rather than guilt, shame, or fear.

But first, let’s take a look at the polarity of this Full Moon in general:

The Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. Virgo seeks personal and practical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all life.

Virgo benefits from apprenticeship, whereas Pisces learns to trust inner guidance above all else — when balanced, we can discern without judgment, serve without obligation, and love all of creation, including ourselves.

Virgo analyzes, Pisces feels: We are invited to discern what’s objectively real to make healthier choices.

To find the balance between Virgo and Piscesask yourself: Where must I be more selective? More accepting? What if my inner knowingness could inform practical choices? What if “choosing” was already (and always) in alignment with divine timing?

What results might I get in my daily life if I dissolved my fears, judgments, and painful memories? Even if I could only do that as best as I could? What else might bring more inner peace?

All Full Moons bring awareness to a polarity, and this illuminates the shadow sides of both signs…

Please note that the Shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or embrace, but it is an essential process to becoming whole, empowered and to fully embody the lighter vibrations of any sign.

Virgo’s shadow side is “Judgement”; this creates separation from others and a split within ourselves, closing our hearts and limiting our ability to learn. It keeps us stuck in duality, defending our position or attacking others. It’s what shows up when we label things as “good or bad” rather than seeing them in terms of “useful or unproductive”.

Drawing on the higher vibrations of Pisces helps us connect with Virgo’s higher vibration

Pisces’s best qualities are compassion, intuitiveness, open-heartedness, inspirational creativity, and imagination; at its best, Pisces understands that we are all souls in various states of development, doing our best.

The shadow side of Pisces is ambiguity, escapism, helplessness or victimization, and poor or missing boundaries. And just as the converse is true, the best qualities of Virgo can move us back into the higher vibration of Pisces — qualities like the ability to choose wisely and to discern what works and what doesn’t objectively.

When both sides are well-integrated, we possess acuity of mind, united with our heart’s wisdom and intuition’s guidance.

Ask yourself: What single step would I take here and now if I were setting out to employ 5% more self-compassion, unconditional love, and selfless service?

What if synergies existed between my emotional, intuitive, and rational/scientific understanding? Do I have to choose between scientific facts & intuitive knowingness? What if I could have both?

Let’s first talk about the planetary line-ups in this Full Moon chart:

Saturn is part of the planetary Pisces line-up. Saturn teaches us about time, consistency, sustainability, responsibility, commitments, social rules, and a truthful and realistic approach to the physical world with all its limitations and possibilities for achievements.

Pluto, the planet associated with transformation, empowerment, emotional authenticity, and depth, is part of the Aquarian line-up.

Let’s start with the line-up in Pisces: Mercury is the first planet in the Pisces line-up, followed by the Sun, and finally Saturn in Pisces. This line-up of planets asks us to go within and work on having a more sustainable connection to our intuition and to Source/Higher Self.

It also advises us to commit more deeply to our spiritual practices — meditation, time in nature, animals, and the arts — whatever opens our minds and heals our hearts. Saturn shows us where old wounds and misperceptions still play out patterns of victimhood.

Ask yourself: What is calling for a more consistent commitment? What am I asked to practice and master? What am I asked to drop/eliminate because it’s no longer working for me?

Since Mercury is also the ruler of Virgo and in opposition to the Moon, this position is important! We are invited to gain more clarity around spiritual/intuitive experiences or creative endeavors. We are also invited to stay centered in our hearts and tune in and see if we need to take a break or at least slow down a little.

Our imagination (and how we use it) is also vital here. So, ask yourself: What am I imagining? For myself? For others? For this planet? Are my imaginings coming from fear or anxiousness? Or do I feel calm and serene when I connect to these imaginings?

What might be possible creatively if I allowed myself to daydream just 5% more than I have in the past? What might a short nap do for my ability to process information and stay in the flow?

How might compassionate and soothing self-dialogue support my connection to Source? To Life? To other Souls?

Now let’s look at the line-up in Aquarius before we talk about the traditional ruler of Pisces (Jupiter) and its aspects…

Pluto, followed by Mars and Venus, make for a strong alignment in Aquarius!

This makes for a great time to transform our visions for humanity and our future on this planet and to dig deeper into our various networks and connections to like-minded people. As best as you can, be authentic about your current affiliations.

Ask yourself: Does participation in my current groups or networks feel empowering or disempowering? Do I feel a deep emotional alignment with like-minded people in my life? Or a disconnect?

Am I allowing myself to deeply connect with others and see the strength and love within all of us? Remember: Love expands us, others, and life. Fear paralyzes!

Now, let’s talk about Jupiter in Taurus! Jupiter plays a significant role in this Full Moon chart!

Jupiter trines the Moon in Virgo, sextiles the Mercury-Sun-Saturn alignment in Pisces, and squares the Pluto-Mars-Venus alignment in Aquarius. So let’s unpack all of that:

Jupiter’s Trine to the Moon in Virgo and the Sextile to the planets in Pisces, gives Jupiter the opportunity to help integrate the Pisces-Virgo polarity.

When we examine our beliefs around money and self-worth, we can more easily see what is creating our current physical reality.

Ask yourself: What personal beliefs about my value am I now ready to explore? Which am I ready to transcend?

What might open up if I were 5% less attached to any material goals? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards my finances?

Patience, combined with optimistically cultivating self-love and self-honoring, will bring a sense of abundance into our lives.

Ask yourself: What road might lead to us more profoundly honoring and appreciating the physical world — in general, and more specifically, my “personal physical world” (for example, my body, money, stuff)?

This could be a great time to clarify what’s important to us.

If we can allow ourselves to see beauty everywhere and value ourselves precisely as we are and as we are not, we can make healthier choices in our lives that serve our emotional and mental well-being.

Ask yourself: How might I become more receptive and appreciative toward my physical connection to life?

How might my perspective shift if I allowed myself to rest as “the love that I am”? How about resting as “the abundance that I am”?

Jupiter’s Square to the Pluto-Mars-Venus alignment in Aquarius asks us to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we have previously known for ourselves and where we have been comfortable up until now.

This Square asks us to stretch ourselves regarding our visions of the future and the physical realities of the present moment. Aquarius wants change and to shake things up, and Taurus wants to stay in its comfort zone.

In other words, we want to change our future globally and in our communities yet we also believe that our personal finances or physical reality need to grow and expand before we can start to make the changes we so desperately want and need.

Ask yourself: What am I observing about myself and my life perspectives and expectations of others? Regarding my vision for the future, what is enough… and what is too much?

When it comes to money, could it be that I sometimes operate from assumptions that no longer hold up? If that were so, what might those assumptions be?

Where am I overindulging based on what I think I deserve rather than what is truly meaningful and realistic? What’s my inner process with this? What’s my outer experience?

To sum it all up: This Full Moon reminds us that our mindfulness and open heart make a difference, not only in our lives, but also in the world at large.

So, rather than pushing, overthinking, or giving up, I invite you to conduct small, simple experiments inside of faith in universal support.

In that spirit…

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: Where is the balance point for intellect and intuition? Striving and surrender? What if far more is happening within us and around the world than meets the eye, ear, or news media?

What if the solutions were already available… just not widely distributed?

When you feel ungrounded or overwhelmed, ask yourself: Could I slow down and notice my breathing? What might breathing deeply and mindfully bring to this moment?

Remember: our future is birthed breath-by-breath, step-by-step, heart-by-heart.

Full Moon in Leo — the article

On January 25th at 12:54pm ESTthe Moon opposes the Sun in 5 degrees of Leo — and this is when this month’s Full Moon becomes exact. We started to feel this Full Moon build from the moment the Moon entered Leo on Wednesday night, Jan. 24th. Relationships of all kinds are highlighted.

I have a very important announcement for my current Members:

Since I started my Membership site six years ago, expenses for my Membership site have gone up quite a bit, but I have kept Membership fees at their original rates. Unfortunately, with the latest round of cost increases, I had to make the tough decision to make some changes.

Many of you have also told me that they would do more Readings with me if my prices were a little lower.

The solution that I came up with, is to raise site membership fees by a modest amount, and at the same time offer much deeper Member discounts on Readings, Coaching Packages, and Astrology Courses.

Universal Members will get up to 15% discounts on Services, and Star Members will get up to 25% discounts!

This will help me keep the membership system going and allow all of you to take advantage of my services more often.

The fees will go to $7/month for my Universal Members and to $29/month for my Star Members.
The yearly fee will go to $63 for Universal (that’s 3 FREE Months) and $289 for Star Members.

This will go into effect on Jan. 24th! Please email me at info@astrologercoach.com if you have any questions!

Back to the Full Moon:

All Full Moons offer opportunities to see things in a new light and guide us away from polarization and division toward balance and integration. Ask yourself: How far have I come since setting Intentions back on Jan. 11th or 12th, after the New Moon became exact? What am I aware of at this time?

The balance and integration we seek with this month’s Full Moon are connected to the Aquarius-Leo polarity. As a Member of my online community, if you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my video.

This Full Moon chart has a big focus on the outer and social planets:

  • The Sun aligns with Pluto in Aquarius
  • The Moon in Leo opposes not only the Sun but also Pluto in Aquarius, and it also trines Chiron in Aries
  • Jupiter in Taurus is the focus point of a T-square to the Full Moon polarity (as well as Pluto)
  • Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) currently exalted in Taurus, as it is preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase on Jan. 27th; and it trines a Mercury-Mars alignment in Capricorn
  • The Mercury-Mars alignment also squares Chiron, the Wounded Healer
  • Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) currently in Pisces quincunxes the Moon in Leo, and sextiles Jupiter in Taurus and Venus in Capricorn

I will go into all of this in more detail in a moment, but first, let’s talk about the Aquarius-Leo polarity:

Aquarius represents a unique vision and approach to life. The classic Aquarian vision is one of interconnected equality and belonging — paradoxically, we are reminded at the same time that the power of unity lies in diversity. It is a concentrative sign.

On the other hand, Leo is all about our self-expression, creativity, and ability to connect to a courageous, innocent heart and inner joy. Leo, at its best, signifies the quest to live from our center, our authentic core, our truth — with joy in our hearts.

As with all Full Moons, we are also invited to…

As with all Full Moons, we are also invited to balance and integrate the two polarities involved — in this case, we are invited to allow head/intellect (Aquarius) and heart-expression (Leo) to merge, bringing about a brighter future for humankind — so ask yourself:

What would it look like if I allowed that merger to go through? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that right now?

To develop a healthy relationship with the individual part we play in the collective, we need to keep an open mind, allow everyone (ourselves included) to be their unique selves, and then bring that unique spark to the collective experience.

As with all Full Moons, there’s a shadow side to be discussed — the shadow of both signs involved in this Full Moon — and please note that the shadow side of any sign is usually not as comfortable to look at or easy to embrace.

Since Pluto is involved in this Full Moon chart, closely aligned with the Sun and opposite the Moon, the shadow side of Aquarius will be more visible and possibly even acted out by the collective.

Aquarius’s shadow side might show up as cold, detached, or overly intellectualized points of view — and there could be some arrogance in the mix.

Ask yourself: If I were too much in my head, what would tip me off to that? Where do I get dogmatic about concepts or visions?

Where do I conform, or at least want to fit in? Where do I hide behind social groups to feel superior to others? Has belonging to a “tribe” become more important than my personal self-expression? How have I avoided following my heart, so I can fit in?

And if by chance you have never belonged to a “tribe”, then ask yourself: What if I gave up identifying as a “black sheep”, rebel, or being so different that I can never belong?

Aquarius’s shadow side can also show up when we get overly attached to the mind and its functions, especially idealized visions, rigid thinking about the future, etc. “Headiness” kicks in and the mind’s activity goes to an all-time high.

The shadow side of Aquarius may leave us unaware how we ourselves must “be the change we wish to see in the world” — instead, we want others to be that change we want to see in the world.

The classic setup here sees us disconnecting from inner moment-to-moment joy for the sake of improving our future, “humanity”, or “the world at large” — the latter two stem from Aquarius’s association with group-consciousness and group-mind.

The shadow side of Aquarius thus expresses itself in herd mentality, where peer pressure can drive people to conform and react — often unconsciously.

Ask yourself: What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered, and authentic place? What if I simply chose that, right now?

This also means it’s important to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others; as best as you can therefore, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions? Am I coming from love and the heart? Or fear and survival?

Opening our hearts dissolves the dark side of Aquarius, and is the doorway into the Aquarian age, which ultimately is all about bringing power to the people & emphasizes the power of cooperation.

We will see many social programs, scientific and technological discoveries. Outdated systems or systems of power need to be taken down, so we can live into a future that opens up human potential.

Living from our center, our authentic core, our truth — with joy in our hearts will be essential in oder to bring about an Aquarian age that feels empowering to all of us.

Now let’s take a look at some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart:

Jupiter in Taurus squares the Sun, Pluto, and the Moon, forming a dynamic fixed T-square that asks us to gain new perspectives around what’s important or meaningful to us to individuate and express ourselves fully and from the heart!

Ask yourself: Are my current values and beliefs a reflection of my highest truth? What attitudes or beliefs could I set free that no longer serve my growth and individuation process?

What if my self-worth was not determined by other people’s ideas of what it means to be worthy? What if my “worth” was established by the fact of my birth? Could I value myself exactly as I am and as I am not?

Awareness is essential: Be alert for undue optimism, which could lead to overextending or over-promising. As best as you can, stay connected to what’s real — for instance, avoid exaggeration, especially around money, possessions, net worth, and the extent of your talents.

With any T-square, the solution to resolving the stresses of the T-square lies with integrating the opposite sign of the Focal planet (aka the empty leg).

In this case, we are looking at integrating the Scorpio energy. Here, we are invited to honor what is true for us while respecting the deep processes of others and our own.

Bringing our new perspectives around money and self-worth to our intimate relationships or financial partnerships will help us grow.

Ask yourself: What is possible when I connect to people who appreciate my enthusiasm for “the good things in life”? Might I have stronger emotional connections with people who share my belief systems?

Could I see energetic alignment and misalignment with others rather than “right” or “wrong”, “good” or “bad”?

The Moon in Leo also trines Chiron in Aries. This combo creates a supportive environment for healing our insecurities. Self-acceptance around being human and presenting our authentic, imperfect Selves to the world without apologies is the best way forward.

Ask yourself: How open can I be to being courageously myself, with all my sensitivities and insecurities? Could I accept my human complexities 5% more when expressing myself creatively or otherwise?

As best as you can, have fun when connecting with others, bring a healing quality to the table by tapping into your inner joy, explore things on a holistic level, and take the risk of being your sensitive, unique Self!

Ask yourself: Can I seek opportunities to be compassionate toward myself and others? How about looking for opportunities that support me in connecting to my inner, innocent child?

Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) is currently exalted in Taurus, preparing to end its 5-month Retrograde phase on Jan. 27th.

Uranus is all about breaking away from traditional structures and moving towards a new future that serves others and ourselves. Keyword: Freedom.

Ask yourself: What might be possible if I practiced connecting to a “higher frequency” with anything physical? Might conscious breathing support me with that? Does my body have any messages for me?

We will feel the exalted energies of Uranus — associated with innovation, breakdowns & breakthroughs until Feb. 9th. As best as you can, stay open and flexible, go with the flow — and pay attention to any ideas or messages you might be receiving.

Join us on Jan. 24th at 1pm EST for a more in-depth look at the current Uranus movement as it relates to your birth chart.

If you are not around on that day or that time, you can either register and receive the replay of the live webinar or get the mp4-video presentation via my webinar page after Jan. 24th.

Uranus also trines a Mercury-Mars alignment in Capricorn in this Full Moon chart. This could bring original, creative insights and ideas out of nowhere; as best as you can, stay open to these unique “downloads” — they might change how you see and proceed with life.

Also, stay open to new and unexpected things that support your career and financial future.

Ask yourself: What ideas concerning my career or long-term goals are coming through? What practical routes could I take? With whom could I share a vision for a better financial future? What are some new or unusual directions that I could take?

The Mercury-Mars alignment in Capricorn also squares Chiron in Aries. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow — on the one hand, we want to portray ourselves as self-reliant, mature experts; on the other hand, we might feel insecure, small, flawed — or, at the very least, very different from what’s expected of us.

Whenever Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is involved, we are asked to do some healing work through compassion and understanding. So, as best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect; we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies… It’s ok. Self-acceptance and inclusivity are key!

Ask yourself: What might change if I showed 5% more compassion toward my insecurities? What if I just decided to actively participate in my healing process? What might become possible if I shifted my inner dialogue about those “so-called flaws”?

Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) is currently in Pisces, where it quincunxes the Moon in Leo. This combo feels a little uneasy. Self-expression, play, and fun are important for Leo. However, Saturn in Pisces reminds us that being too influenced by external interactions will not lead to a truthful assessment of our inner divinity and a more realistic connection to our intuitive knowing and trusting of life.

The question is: Could I allow myself to feel the mismatch of those two desires? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.

Saturn in Pisces sextiles Jupiter in Taurus & Venus in Capricorn.

The Sextile to Jupiter is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we are more likely to find an increased focus on spiritual, inner self-mastery, coupled with a sense of enthusiasm about our physical comforts and realities. It’s undoubtedly easier to save and regulate spending.

Ask yourself: How might sourcing my energy from within support a stronger connection to myself and my talents?

The Sextile to Venus is an opportunity to bring a sense of realism to our business relationships and financial affairs: We can see what needs to be dealt with in those areas and take responsibility for our handling of them without being too hard on ourselves or others.

Ask yourself: How might a compassionate and patient approach support my business relationships and long-term financial goals?

With both of those Sextiles, since they are all in feminine signs, there’s no need to rush anything — instead, tune into your intuitive side and think things through carefully and responsibly — do your “due diligence” and stay open-hearted.

Practicing a stronger connection to our “intuitive knowing” and trusting “the flow of life” every day will support this process.

To sum it all up, with this many planets in fixed signs, we are asked to break down long-standing patterns, attachments, and identities.

Aquarius, along with its co-rulers Saturn and Uranus, deals with the idea of being a responsible and unique human, both on an individual level and as a member of the “human family”.

For the next two weeks, we are more concerned with mental and social energy on a collective level, with ideals and innovation.

We are also encouraged to acknowledge that we are all in this together, and yet each of us has the ability to effect change by tapping into our own courage and living our own vision, being ourselves fully — which in turn requires that we drop more fully into our hearts and value who we are, who we hav been and who we are becoming.

The question you may want to ask here is: Might it be that I have to belong to myself before I belong anywhere else?

This Full Moon urges us to remember that we all have an important part to play in humanity’s evolution, so ask yourself: Am I able to love and accept myself exactly as I am? And perhaps even for what I am not? Am I living from my essence or my conditioned Self?

To better understand which one it might be, ask yourself: To what degree do I experience joy? Gratitude? Love?

No matter what happens in the collective experience or my various communities? Do I have the courage to stand in my authentic self-expression? What is my current level of self-acceptance?

This Full Moon shows us that plenty of inner and outer processes are going on, and we’re all dealing with those processes in our own way.

Let’s look into our hearts and see the strength and love. We can reclaim ourselves, remember our divinity and interdependence, and lift ourselves and humanity out of the old paradigm of separation and scarcity.

Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and staying heart-centered are critical!

Full Moon in Cancer — December 2023

On December 26th at 7:33pm EST, the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 5 degrees of CancerThe entrance of the Moon into Cancer earlier that same day begins the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

This is the second Full Moon in 2023 in the Cancer-Capricorn polarity. The first one was on Jan. 6th, 2023, at the beginning of the year. You could say that started the year in the same way we are invited to end it….

Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this Full Moon, there is a particularly strong emphasis on family- and business relationships.

Before we dive in, I just want to share: it’s not too late to watch my Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Astrology Topics” A Preview of 2024! ==> If you weren’t able to join us live on Dec. 15th, not to worry, here is the replay!

Back to the Full Moon…

Lots of planets are involved in this Full Moon chart:

  • Moon in Cancer: sextiles an exalted Jupiter in Taurus and trines Saturn in Pisces
  • Sun in Capricorn: trines an exalted Jupiter and sextiles Saturn
  • Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) in Pisces sextiles an exalted Jupiter in Taurus
  • Mercury and Mars are closely aligned in Sagittarius, both in a Square to Neptune in Pisces
  • Neptune trines Venus in Scorpio, and they both sextile Pluto in Capricorn
  • A highly exalted Chiron in Aries is in a wide Square to the Full Moon polarity and closes in on the North Node in Aries

Jupiter is exalted until Jan. 6th (stationing) as it prepares to end its 4-month Retrograde phase at 5.5 degrees of Taurus on Dec. 30th. However, at the time of the Full Moon, Jupiter will support the integration of the Full Moon polarity because it is sextiling the Moon in Cancer and trining the Sun in Capricorn.

The same is true for Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn. Saturn in Pisces will also support the integration of the Full Moon polarity, as it is trining the Moon and sextiling the Sun.

Chiron is extremely exalted and will halt at 15.5 degrees of Aries only 2.5 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact.

All of the above-mentioned play an important role, so buckle up! More about the specifics regarding all of these planets in a moment. But first, let’s talk about this month’s Full Moon:

This Lunation shows us how well we are doing with self-care and any issues connected to family or home — and also where we are in connection to greater emotional responsibility and self-alignment.

Ask yourself: What’s my relationship to self-care? Where do I feel most “at home”? What’s my understanding of my emotional needs? How might an emotional connection to myself and my loved ones be of benefit to me? How might it shift my priorities?

Let’s take a look at the polarities involved with this Full Moon: The Moon in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer opposes the Sun in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn.

We have a heightened sense that something must be brought into balance and reintegrated; the balance in question is between the experience of our personal feelings and emotional needs (symbolized by Cancer), versus our outer obligations or material, practical goals (Capricorn). It’s important to realize that…

It’s important to realize that we all have limitations and challenges in life — and when we approach those in a nurturing way, taking care of our feeling body and inner baby, and allowing ourselves to receive support from family or “familiar” connections”, we are more likely to overcome those challenges and be realistic about limitations — our own, and other people’s.

Ask yourself: How am I balancing the demands of my outer and inner life? Home life vs. career? Where am I able to be mature and self-reliant — and also contribute? Where am I giving too much? Not enough?

Do I love what I do and where I live? Where do I need to re-evaluate my goals and priorities? Where do I need to set healthy limits and boundaries?

Any Full Moon also has us look more closely at the denser vibrations or shadow components of the energies involved. Cancer must learn about receiving and developing healthy roots; Capricorn, about giving back and sharing the fruits of its labor.

I mentioned a little earlier that Jupiter & Saturn play a big role in helping us integrate this Cancer-Capricorn polarity.

Let’s start with Saturn since it is the ruler of Capricorn. When we focus on Saturn’s journey through Pisces, we have a much easier time integrating/balancing the Cancer-Capricorn energies in this particular Full Moon chart.

Saturn in Pisces asks us to be present in the here and now and bring this practice to our long-term or career goals and to our commitments with family and loved ones. It asks us to eliminate anything that disconnects us from our intuitive nature and the natural flow of life.

Ask yourself: How might slowing down and taking it one step at a time benefit me right now? How might a mature approach and healthy boundaries support my dealings with loved ones?

On the other hand, an exalted Jupiter in Taurus asks us to take a close look at our beliefs around physical comforts and anything that gives us pleasure and stability to see if those beliefs align with what nurtures us.

Ask yourself: Are my physical or material needs being met? Do I feel nurtured by physical comforts? Could I learn something new about how to take care of my finances? Might this new perspective bring me an increased feeling of safety and comfort? What about my physical reality feeds me?

Saturn in Pisces also makes a Sextile to an exalted Jupiter in Taurusthis is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives.

Ask yourself: How might sourcing energy from within support a stronger connection to myself and my talents? How might a practical and long-term sustainable approach towards my body or finances serve my enjoyment of life in the long run?

If we stay open-minded and open-hearted, finances can get back on track. It’s undoubtedly easier to save and regulate spending.

Mercury (still in its retrograde motion) & Mars are closely aligned in Sagittarius, both in a Square to Neptune in Pisces.

Mercury’s Retrograde motion indicates that we are not quite ready to move forward with our plans; rather, we are invited to look back and see what we may need to revisit or reconsider.

Ask yourself: Is there a point of view or a perspective I must reconsider before making a decision? Could I do some research before deciding on the next step?

If you find yourself having impatient thoughts and/or behaviors, draw a deep breath into your lower belly and feel the breath soothing your solar plexus, bringing you back to your center…

The Square to Neptune in Pisces invites us to have faith, go with the flow, and let our intuition guide us when it comes to taking actions or making major decisions — and if we can do so, we will grow through it.

As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others — and watch out for any tendency to make hasty decisions or to martyr yourself for others! Or to be naïve about your own or other people’s beliefs or choices.

If at all possible, before making any important decisions, check with your intuition (in other words, go within first).

Ask yourself: Before making a decision or taking an action, could I tune in and get clear about my energy body and what is needed now? Is faster better — in this particular case? What if I granted 5% more trust to my inner guidance?

Neptune trines Venus in Scorpio, and they both sextile Pluto in Capricorn. Let’s start with the Trine to Venus…

With this harmonious aspect, it becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we more readily permit ourselves to receive love and emotional support.

Ask yourself: Where do I sense emotional blockages or fears from the past? What feels easy to be released at this time? How might a good dose of love and forgiveness support me with this?

Could I perhaps tap into my heart energies 5% more to get a sense that “everything will turn out just as it needs to”? What might become possible if I spent 5% more time around people who support and inspire me?

Pluto in its very last degree of Capricorn, an exalted degree, gives us the message: it’s now or never! Finish up anything you started after 2008! Get your shi* together and become your own authority out there in the world.

The more we have learned during Pluto in Capricorn about trusting our own authority, the easier it will be to responsibly contribute to society once Pluto moves into Aquarius in January 2024 (21st).

Blaming a tyrant, waiting for a savior: both keep us locked in fear and limitation. Ask yourself: Could I own how much agency I have out there in the world? Can I take responsibility for how I show up? And for how I respond to life? Can I see through my fears to the unwavering power and resilience that lies at the core of me?

Neptune’s & Venus’ Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn at the time of the Full Moon allows us to bring a sense of compassion and creativity to whatever we have been restructuring or rebuilding in our lives. We are building something for the long-term; something authentic, and empowering.

Ask yourself: How obsessed have I become about manifesting something real/authentic out there in the world? Could I soften my approach just a little?

Could I surrender my will, obsessions, and fears to the Universe? Knowing that I am guided all of the time? Could I embrace all challenges as gifts from the divine? Could I trust that in the long run, all will be well?

The most challenging aspect in this Full Moon chart is a wide T-Square — with a highly exalted Chiron in Aries as the Focal Point… this T-Square is also part of our current Soul’s Evolution, since Chiron will move closer and closer to the North Node in Aries once it ends it’s Retrograde phase (on Dec. 26th).

This T-Square promotes healing old wounds, especially around self-abandonment, where we sacrifice or suppress an important part of ourselves to be accepted.

We most likely will experience some stress around anything connected to our insecurities concerning masculine energies (such as impatience, frustrations, annoyances, shame, anger, etc) or our personal goals, so ask yourself:

What if I simply accepted the validity of my desires? Of any feelings of anger? Might this acceptance support a more natural expression of those desires and feelings?

What if I became 5% more conscious of anything connected to a childhood wound that feels triggering to me? What might be possible if I practiced being kind to myself around those triggers? What role does my thinking play in all of this?

The Solution with all T-squares is to focus on the empty leg; in this case, the empty leg lands in Libra (the place where the South Node resides at this time as well); we are thus invited to focus our energies on collaborations and win-wins, and on achieving a healthy balance with ourselves and our environment.

Ask yourself: Where is the balancing point? What if I channeled my energies into projects that benefit me and others? How might others contribute to my healing process around the “masculine” energies? What if I didn’t have to do it all by myself?

Keep in mind, that as we heal our personal history, we become a source of light and support for others.

Ask yourself: How does my inner life inform my outer? Where is there still room for healing when it comes to my personal history?

And of course, as always when Cancer and Capricorn are involved: take baby steps (or if you prefer, “take it one day at a time”   Ask yourself: Why would I sprint if walking got me there at the perfect time?

Check to see where any urge toward rushing or “getting there” comes from — is that coming from a place of fear or love? And keep in mind that impatience is a form of FEAR. It’s when we are not trusting the timing of things….

To sum it all upThis Full Moon reminds us that we need to receive as well as give — and that we outgrow things sometimes. Honor your feelings and needs, as they are now, so you can build something of value, and share the fruits of your labor with the world.

As best as you can, widen your perspectives about your physical reality and be responsible with your energy — this will help balance the Cancer/Capricorn polarities.

Also, steer by your inner compass, and bring your authentic self to the world in a spirit of integrity and responsibility.

Ask yourself: What would self-responsible self-care look like? What if I brought 5% more compassion and love to every moment while working towards my achievement? Could I do that just by checking in with my physical and emotional needs from time to time?

Before we can release the old, we must become aware of it, and finish feeling any lingering emotional residues — rage, shame, hatred, jealousy, judgment— whatever has been stored in our unconscious.

If we can keep breathing, keep feeling, keep witnessing, and remember that we are all participating in an unprecedented, evolutionary shift, we can drop centuries of old programming.

During these next 2 weeks (after Dec. 26th), self-care deserves our attention… Make sure you get plenty of rest, affection, water, and healthy amounts of nutritious food.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-7 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun sign in Leo or Cancer  (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Full Moon in Gemini — the article

On November 27th, at 4:16am EST, the Full Moon becomes exact in almost 5 degrees of Gemini; the entrance of the Moon into Gemini on Sunday evening (Nov. 26th) starts the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.

Before we get started, I just wanted to share that if you weren’t able to join me live for my first guest appearance on the Soulivity Today Morning Show: “Hot Topics Friday” ==> feel free to watch the replay here

**The next show will be on Dec. 15th at 8am EST** Mark your calendar!

Now, back to the Full Moon:

The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini, opposes the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Let’s start by looking at the highlights of this Full Moon:

  • The Moon makes an opposition to the Sun & Mars alignment in Sagittarius, which asks us to take action on something that we have been meaning to take care of since the New Moon in Gemini, around June 18th, 2023.
  • Saturn in Pisces becomes the Focus Point of a T-Square, squaring the Moon in Gemini and the Sun-Mars alignment in Sagittarius, asking us to be present in the here and now and bring this practice to our daily routines.
  • The Sun in Sagittarius quincunxes Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) on Nov. 29th, and Mars will follow suit on Dec. 3rd, which invites us to make some inner adjustments. Still, ultimately, it’s about seeing the bigger picture and being adaptable.
  • Neptune in Pisces (our primary connection to universal love and our intuitive knowing) is still exalted until Dec. 25th, making this planet’s energy a vital part of this Full Moon chart; it also squares  Mercury in Sagittarius.
  • Mercury, the planet of communication, also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini), not only squares Neptune but also trines the North Node in Aries & sextiles the South Node-Venus alignment in Libra. Mercury’s aspects to the Moon Nodes & Venus ask us to widen our horizons and take an optimistic approach when interacting with others and going after our goals & passions.

I will go into all these aspects in more detail in a moment — but first…

Full Moons illuminate the higher/lighter vibration and the denser Shadow side of each sign. As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows moves more to the forefront — where we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level.

This ultimately creates a more conscious society that can make more empowering choices for the future. However, it is essential to remember that this process takes time to create a visible collective shift.

Let’s take a look at the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity: Gemini asks us to…

Gemini asks us to develop intelligence, objectivity, and open-mindedness. At the same time, Sagittarius wants us to go beyond those places and look for something much bigger: wisdom, broader perspectives, philosophies, ethics, and faith.

The lighter side of Gemini is all about being open-minded, aware that there is always more to learn, and realizing that listening is just as important as speaking (sometimes even more so).

Gemini’s Shadow side has lots of facts but little knowledge, talks readily but cannot hear, and allows the mind to dominate the body, heart, and soul. With Shadow issues, the more awareness we bring to them, the less impact they have on us.

The highest vibration of Sagittarius leads to ever-expanding horizons of understanding, tolerance, and the realization of what life is all about (in general and in particular); the Shadow side has us fall into ruts of dogmatism, entitlement, and excess of all kinds.

Staying curious and open-minded (rather than coming from “already always knowing” or assumptions) will bring greater happiness, balance, and fulfillment in all areas of life.

Ask yourself: What could I learn about my own communication skills that might help me grow as a human being? What might I need to learn or understand in order to go beyond my cultural/religious/social conditioning? What has already changed over the last year in that regard?

How could I make my experience of processing/sharing information and interacting with others more beneficial for everyone involved?

One of modern life’s challenges is dealing with information overload — a Gemini issue. With all the information coming our way on a daily basis, it has become much harder to discern what is fact, fiction, exaggeration, or even outright falsification.

One of the most pressing issues of our time, especially highlighted in the last three to four years, is media bias and the decline of objective journalism — a Gemini-Sagittarius issue.

Ask yourself: What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view? Could I be 5% extra mindful and discerning as to what I assume to be true?

Now, let’s address some of the aspects of this Full Moon chart:

The Moon makes an opposition to the Sun & Mars alignment in Sagittarius. With this combo, we are invited to balance our desire to share and gather information with our desire to go beyond learned knowledge and take actions to tap into a greater wisdom that helps us grow and expand mentally, physically or spiritually.

Ask yourself: What is my spiritual purpose? What actions that could bring a new perspective into my life are calling to me? Is there a new way of looking at something that has bothered me in the past?

What am I ready to engage with that supports my mental and spiritual growth?

We may also feel restless and impatient with this combo; moving fast is what we prefer at this time — but we tends to forget that some parts of us may need more time to arrive where our mind has already leaped.

Remember that impatience is a form of fear: the fear of things moving too slowly, or of the timing of things not matching our conditioned thoughts or expectations.

Ask yourself: What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions and what I think I know? Who I think I am? Why things are the way they are?

What is the difference between information and interpretation? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a wider view?

Saturn in Pisces becomes the Focus Point of a T-Square, squaring the Moon in Gemini & the Sun-Mars alignment in Sagittarius, asking us to be present in the here and now, and bring this practice to our daily routines.

Issues around boundaries, commitments, and trusting ourselves may arise with this T-square.

As always, T-Squares create some tension, but this particular one is also an invitation to clarify our relationship with the energetic world.

We may become anxious or stressed over a situation or about a piece of information that is being presented to us in an aggressive manner.

Ask yourself: Where do I need to take more responsibility in engaging with the world? Where do I need to draw the line?

How might slowing down and taking it one step at a time benefit me right now? How might a mature approach, with healthy boundaries, support my dealings with others?

If I were able to find creative solutions to my current frustrations, what might those be?

With any T-Square, we are invited to integrate the opposite sign of the Focal planet (aka the empty leg). In this case, we are looking at integrating the Virgo-enery.

Virgo is all about discernment and making mindful choices. Coming from a neutral place, makes it easier to make those mindful and practical choices.

Ask yourself: What if I could discern what’s needed on an energetic level? Do I need more rest? Do I need to be more present in the here and now? What practical steps can I take to stay attuned to my intuitive voice?

If I am moving too fast or feeling overwhelmed, could I slow down a little and make a list of everything that needs to get done? Could I prioritize that list and take it one line item at a time?

Since Virgo is also associated with health routines, you might ask yourself: What health routines would support my emotional and mental well-being at this time? (this could be work-out routines, sitting in stillness or simply practicing mindfulness when engaging in our daily acts)

The Sun in Sagittarius quincunxes Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) on Nov. 29th, and Mars will follow suit on Dec. 3rd. This invites us to make some inner adjustments, but ultimately, it’s about seeing the bigger picture and being adaptable.

It could be hard to stay optimistic under this influence, as we tend to overestimate our physical reality.

This aspect is a fork in the road: we may want to explore new horizons, but also need to expand our ability to see the value of physical security, set good boundaries, and honor “where we are at”.

Ask yourself: Could I be open to experiencing some kind of mental and spiritual expansion as well as honoring my desire for physical or financial stability?

Remember: The best way to deal with Quincunxes is not to keep looking for the exact solution, but for ways to feel ok when things are not an exact match — in other words, when something feels misaligned…

Read more about these Quincunxes in my weekly/daily Forecasts.

Neptune in Pisces (our primary connection to universal love and intuitive knowing) is still exalted until Dec. 25th; it also squares the Mercury in Sagittarius.

Neptune comes to halt in almost 25º of Pisces on Dec. 6th — to end its 5-month Retrograde phase, making its energy extra-potent at the time of the Full Moon.

Neptune increases our access to spiritual insights and creativity at this time. We may want to practice going beyond our favorite stories and perceptions, to look for the spaciousness that we gain when we don’t give meaning to anything, and acknowledge the meaning we have already given to everything around us.

Ask yourself: What do I feel and perceive when I go beyond all stories, all assumptions, and all meaning?

Just for a moment, could I release my attachments to the meanings I have given to everything — just for a moment, and just as best as I can, no better? How does it feel, and what do I perceive, when I do that?

Might observing or simply being present with my thoughts and feelings — without judgment or needing to act — show me how much of my reality is shaped by my beliefs and biases?

We will also cover Neptune’s Station Direct phase in our last Forecasting Forum of the year on Dec. 1st at 5pm EST. We will also talk about Mercury’s last Retrograde phase of the year in Sagittarius-Capricorn.

Mercury enters its Pre-Shadow phase two days before this Full Moon becomes exact. This means that Mercury will move through the same territory three times times: we are talking about 22º of Sagittarius to 8.5º of Capricorn — giving us a chance to revisit something from the past or take our time when engaging with others or learning something.

We are moving through this area for the first time during the Pre-Shadow phase: Nov. 25th – Dec. 13th. This area will be revisited during Mercury’s Retrograde phase: Dec. 13th – Jan. 1st, 2024, and then again during the post-Shadow phase from Jan. 1st until Jan. 20th, 2024.

Mercury is the planet of communication or also known as the messenger (also the ruler of Gemini).

Mercury not only squares Neptune in this Full Moon chart, but also trines the North Node in Aries and sextiles the South Node-Venus alignment in Libra.

Let’s start with the Square to an exalted Neptune in Pisces: We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We are more imaginative now and easily swayed by the opinions of others.

It can be hard to follow routines. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others.

Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to slow down and rest in knowing that all is well, all of the time?

Mercury’s aspects to the Moon Nodes & Venus asks us to widen our horizons and take an optimistic approach when interacting with others and going after our goals & passions.

Mercury in Sagittarius asks us to re-frame problems into opportunities:

Ask yourself: What if I saw everything that happens to me as a chance to grow? What might change if everything was happening “for” me rather than “to” me? How open can I be to being “courageously myself”?

What is “truth”? How is it different from “perspective” or “opinion”?

Could I discuss my perspectives or philosophies without becoming attached to everyone believing in the same story?

To sum it all up: in this uncertain climate, in a world where we experience information overload every day, in a time when we are being asked to process through our shadow issues and let go of “old” conditioning… being present in the “here and now” moment is the biggest gift we can give to ourselves.

The Sun & Mars in Sagittarius remind us of the importance of faith, meaning, and purpose, while the Moon in Gemini highlights many different ways of seeing, being, and believing.

This Full Moons highlights where we need less information and more understanding, less busyness and more purpose, less judgment and more acceptance.

It’s more important than ever to “be present” in the here and now, respond rather than react, and remember that we are all spiritual beings learning to be human in a very different world than we grew up in.

Ask yourself: How complex could I allow myself to be? How about everyone else out there in the world? Could I permit them to be just as complex?

Could I permit others their limitations? Could I permit my own?

As best as you can, stay grounded, avoid distractions, and be very discerning about what deserves your attention and energy

For the next two weeks, ask yourself: What could I read or watch for new information that feels empowering and worth my time? What am I willing to learn?

Is it at least possible for me to get quiet for 5 minutes every day and rest in the knowing that “all is well, all of the time”?

As best as you can, for the next two weeks, keep an open mind and heart, and see if you can tune into an ongoing realization that nothing is ever truly static or separate…

Again, you can watch my Full Moon video for more details.

Powerful Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in Taurus — the article

On October 28th at 4:24 pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 5º of Taurus/Scorpio). The entrance of the Moon into Taurus on Oct. 28th at 7:44am EDT begins the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

This powerful Full Moon is a shallow Partial Lunar Eclipse viewable across Europe, Africa, most of Asia, and western Australia. The partial Eclipse lasts 78 minutes (=1hr 18min), so we will feel the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for approximately 39 days.

This Lunar Eclipse is the last of the Eclipses in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity — an Eclipse cycle that began in November 2021!

This allows us to complete an evolutionary process emphasizing creating a healthy sense of self-esteem and having a healthy relationship with the physical world —  learning how to value ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

So, the question is: How well have you been doing with this exploration for yourself since November of 2021? What more is there to be learned? What processes are asking to be completed?

What fears are still asking to be faced? What old traumas still need to be healed? What’s the best way to own your power? What is still holding you back?

As you might know from my last Solar Eclipse video, Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

With this particular Eclipse, the Moon Nodes are no longer in the same signs as the Full Moon polarity. That said, they are within 12 degrees of the Full Moon — close enough for this to still be a Lunar Eclipse — partial perhaps, but still powerful.

The Lunar Eclipse highlights relationships of all kinds — but with this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a heightened emphasis on self-value and intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what we need to explore, embrace, and integrate about the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to Oct. 27th, 2004: What did I need to integrate back then?

What became clearer at that time around exploring my talents? What about my self-worth — was I able to see my value? What about my relationship with money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience inner peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address this upcoming Lunar Eclipse in our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 27th at 5pm EDT/2pm PT! Please join us if you want to know how this powerful Lunation will impact you personally. We will also address Saturn’s Station Direct phase in Pisces.

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until October 25th! So I invite you to take advantage of that — unless you are already a Star Member — you are automatically registered and will receive an invite email to join us live (it goes out the day before the live event). I release the mp4 video recording within 24 hours of the live event.

Many planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart:

  • The Moon in Taurus closely conjuncts Jupiter
  • The Moon not only opposes the Sun but also Mercury & Mars in Scorpio
  • The Moon sextiles an exalted Saturn in Pisces
  • Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is currently in Virgo and trines Uranus & Jupiter in Taurus
  • Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces
  • The modern ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) is still in Capricorn and exalted, sextiling Neptune
  • Pluto also still squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra
  • Pluto also trines Uranus in Taurus
  • Mars (the traditional ruler of Scorpio) closely aligns with Mercury in Scorpio
  • Mars & Mercury in Scorpio almost exactly oppose Jupiter in Taurus

I’ll give you more details in a moment. For the next 39 days, we seek…

For the next 39 days, we seek the balance and integration of those two polarities and are aware that something needs to be brought into alignment; the balance in question is between recognizing our deepest emotional desires or fears and most authentic motivations (Scorpio), and our relationship to our physical body and our talents (how worthy we feel), what we value on the physical plane, and the planet we live on (Taurus).

You can ask yourself with this Lunar Eclipse: What do I truly value? What deserves my attention, appreciation, and care? Which of my values stem from social conditioning? Which of them needs to change?

At its best, Scorpio is associated with transformation and our capacity to shed what may have served us in the past but now hinders our growth. We are indeed being asked to shed something in our life — a false belief, perhaps, or a “fake” identity or “way of being” (an addiction or obsessive behavior) but it could also be a relationship, job, or something else more concrete.

The Sun’s passage through Scorpio is a time of transition, a time to go within to honor the realities of death and rebirth — the cycle of life, the most natural thing there is. The Sun started its passage through Scorpio on October 23rd.

Ask yourself: How far have I come in regards to investigating or understanding my deepest desires? How am I doing with owning previously denied or rejected parts of myself? What parts of myself still operate on survival strategies? Where am I still left feeling disempowered in my life?

As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows comes more and more to the forefront, so we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level. Lunar Eclipses also allow us to see the Shadow aspects of each sign.

Scorpio ultimately teaches us that every ending is also a beginning — but the denser vibrations of Scorpio tend to bring up trust issues, black-and-white thinking, addiction to drama and darkness (or substances) — and anything we want to prevent. We could find ourselves coming from an instinctual, self-protective place, from survival, rather than intuition and love-based spaciousness.

Ask yourself here: What am I invited to shed? Is there a cycle in my life that is ending? What might a new beginning look like?

The other pole in this balancing act is Taurus, which seeks a healthy relationship with the physical world; the Moon in Taurus calls us back to our senses. Taurus is often associated with money, but the sign is ultimately about our values, of which money is a subset.

We are invited to remember that we are blessed with a miraculous birthday suit, and a beautiful, precious planet — if we feel unworthy or empty inside, material objects or accumulations can only serve as a substitute or distraction from the emptiness that comes from forgetting those facts.

Ask yourself: What do I spend my time, energy, and money on? What might that mirror show me if this reflected my relationship with myself? Do I feel worthy? Do I value myself? How do I show my value?

Do I seem to struggle with money (accumulating, keeping, making the most of it, etc.)? Does money fill an emotional void in my life? Do material objects do that? Or is money simply a tool or an energy exchange for me? How might a shift in perspective help resolve my relationship to money — and ultimately towards myself?

Taurus teaches us about the power of beauty, and about things that make us happy on a physical level — we are also called to develop our talents and sense of self-worth — and are helped to discover and manifest what we truly value and enjoy.

If we are to experience the highest vibration of Taurus, a healthy sense of self-worth is critical, so ask yourself: What matters most to me? What makes me happy, deep down? What is in the way of me honoring the physical plane? Of honoring my body? The planet? Physical beauty?

What is between me and feeling valued in the world? What if I was the only one of me there will ever be? What might my value be then?

In Taurus, we discover what we most require; in Scorpio, we explore what we most desire… and fear.

Let’s move to some of the aspects of this Lunar Eclipse chart: The Moon conjuncts Jupiter in Taurus, giving this Eclipse a more pronounced flavor of expansion and excitement.

This also gives us extra energy and excitement to see things from a different perspective, be less afraid of making mistakes, and keep going with whatever feels most aligned with our values and brings the most financial growth.

Ask yourself: Where am I waiting to create more abundance? What perspective shifts would be most beneficial to my bank account now?

What if life were happening “for me” instead of “to me”? What if abundance was everywhere, no matter where I looked? Could I just decide to believe that? Just decide that was the case?

We have an opportunity here to look at our beliefs in connection with physical comforts and anything that gives us pleasure and stability and see if those beliefs align with what nurtures us.

It’s worthwhile to ponder philosophical questions about whether or not our needs are being met — and whether our physical comforts leave us feeling nurtured.

The next 39 days will be an opportunity to expand our perspectives on financial issues or concerns — or look at our physical reality and what feeds us.

The Moon not only opposes the Sun in Scorpio but also opposes Mercury & Mars in Scorpio; in other words, there is a Sun/Mercury/Mars alignment in Scorpio that makes an almost exact opposition to the Moon/Jupiter alignment in Taurus!

This alignment between the Sun, Mercury & Mars brings a heightened focus towards thinking about the depth of our psyche, facing our worst fears, or dealing with loss in some way — in particular, letting go of the “old”, to let in the “new”.

Ask yourself: If I remain attached to the “old” (perhaps through fear of letting go of it to meet the “new”), might this create some difficulties for me? If I let go of the old, could it help me build inner strength? Am I ready for “the new”? Can I trust the process? The cycles of Life?

Am I noticing an obsessive quality in my thinking? Am I afraid of something terrible happening? Or just concerned?

Where am I trying to control what’s outside of me? How’s that working for me? What might happen if I focused on empowering myself and others? What if I opened my heart 5% wider? What if I surrendered 5% of my fears? What if I experiment with taking a deep breath when I feel impatient or rushed?

Something to be aware of: We may take things a little too personally. This combo could make it challenging for others to engage in a healthy dialogue with us. We may obsess over something and favor being “right” over being happy.

The opposition to the Moon/Jupiter alignment brings impulsiveness, insatiable desires, and daring behaviors. Since we have Jupiter & Mars involved in this opposition, there is a real spirit of adventure. We need to be aware of wanting too much from ourselves or others.

Our sex drive might be increased for the next 39 days, and we may feel that we don’t have enough sex – or enough experience. Our impulsiveness might be combined with feeling competitive, leading to gambling, not just with money, but with other people’s feelings or risky behaviors.

We might gloss over realistic details, which could get us into debt. We might overindulge in pleasures such as food and drink and promise more than we can deliver.

Ask yourself: When is it time to stop (or at least slow down) so I can feel satisfied with what I am engaging in? When do I know that enough is enough? Could I be 5% more realistic about what I have (materially speaking) and what I can share? How might I channel these energies into projects that can bring emotional and financial fulfillment?

The Moon sextiles an exalted Saturn in Pisces. Saturn is exalted until November 14th, and Saturn will end its 5-month retrograde phase (that started on June 17th) on Nov. 4th. As best as you can during the time of its station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations.

You can join us at our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 27th at 5pm EDT. We will talk about the Saturn Station phase and its direct motion in relationship to our Birth charts… To register while the Early Bird Pricing is still available, click here now. To be automatically registered monthly, become a Star Member on my site.

The Moon’s Sextile to Saturn is an opportunity to create a finer balance between our need for safety around our physical/material realities and our need to keep things real in the energetic, spiritual, or intuitive realm.

It is also an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we are more likely to find an increased focus on spiritual, inner self-mastery, coupled with feeling nurtured when it comes to our physical comforts and realities.

Ask yourself: Could I trust my inner knowing (or intuition) 5% more? What spiritual practices could support me on this inward journey? What resonates with my core? What is realistic and practical?

What practices would support an experience of greater abundance and self-worth? What am I being asked to give up for a stronger connection to my inner guidance? Could a different approach towards “timing” support me in understanding the actual value of something?

Venus (the ruler of Taurus) is currently in Virgo and trines Uranus & Jupiter in Taurus. This combo helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual. It brings a sense of optimism and excitement about social interactions.

Our outlook is more cheerful and hopeful, the atmosphere cooperative yet grounded in reality — it’s an excellent time for winning people’s enthusiasm.

Ask yourself: How could I implement revolutionary financial or social practices that support my current values and make life more enjoyable for me and everyone who interacts with me socially or receives my services or what I have to offer?

What financial opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as often as I asked “how”?

Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces. This opposition asks us to dissolve anything we valued in the past that no longer serves us or provides a closer connection to the divine. Compassion may play a significant role in our interactions.

Ask yourself: What is in alignment with my higher Self? Can I find a way to connect the dots between a scientific and spiritual approach? Could I be open to the idea that all things are connected, even those that seem impossible to reconcile? Where might “perfect” and “exact” be overrated?

As best as you can, find your inner balance with what’s real and what’s not… and allow others and yourself to be human, limitations and all.

The modern ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) is still in Capricorn and exalted, sextiling Neptune in Pisces. Pluto stationed direct on October 10th, but it will still be moving slower and therefore exalted until Oct. 31st!

The Sextile to Neptune presents an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something tangible — this is also an opportune time to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals.

Ask yourself: Might trusting emotional connections lead to more authentic and passionate engagement with what I’m building for the long term?

Is it at least possible that combining imagination with trust in divine guidance would support my empowerment in society? What would I do if directing kindness toward the world would bring peace to my life and heart?

Pluto also still squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra. This combo will remain strong until Dec. 8th, 2023. We get a significant opportunity to stretch and grow on our collective and individual Soul’s Journey! It indicates a turning point — individually and collectively speaking!

We are invited to let go of what is destructive to ourselves or others. Ask yourself: What do I see? What am I painfully aware of? What stems from the past and needs to be transformed?

What might open up if I placed 5% more focus on self-care and self-nurturing? How could I connect more powerfully with my ability to feel safe from within? Could I release all fears and trust life?

Pluto also trines Uranus in Taurus. With this combo, we can better connect to anything that involves an empowering long-term involvement. We might also implement revolutionary business practices or government programs that support our values and make life tangibly more enjoyable.

Ask yourself: How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress with my long-term goals connected to finances or my standing in society? Where am I ready for change? Where do I need to stop underestimating myself?

Where do I need to break free from conventional approaches and find a way to individuate so I can honor my talents and what’s important to me on the physical plane?

This combo underlines the message that we are ready to take the next big step on our path. We can recalibrate ourselves. Shifts and changes are on the horizon!

To sum up: this Lunar Eclipse challenges us to rethink our interactions with others, use our power wisely, and remember we are all interconnected in this vast social experiment. Hating or disconnecting from other people is not going to change that!

We can see how far we have come since November 2021 when facing our fears and valuing ourselves and our authentic relationships with others.

Ask yourself: What fears or inauthentic (or even toxic) relationships must I still release or transform if I am to step into greater abundance and happiness in my life?

This potent Full Moon also asks us to break away from anything keeping us from honoring our uniqueness and quirks — and from whatever has us in a rut, collectively and individually.

Shifts are happening everywhere. It’s time to develop some self-love and awareness. Ask yourself: Where do I want to have more certainty? Where do I want to break free? How is my body recalibrating to break free from outdated habits that keep me in lower/denser vibrational states?

Our thinking may become obsessive over the next 39 days, but becoming controlling (or even paranoid) does not serve us — choose your battles wisely and seek to provide empowerment wherever possible. As best as you can, come from love, not fear! Give yourself permission to rest and heal.

Use the power of this Lunar Eclipse to get grounded in your physical and emotional body, break up any stagnation in your system or your relationships, and accelerate your transformation by immersing yourself in a deeper connection to all of life.

Here are a few final coaching questions for this Lunar Eclipse: If letting go always brought more peace, what would I dare to release? If I knew that holding on kept me small, could I let go?

Remember: When enough of us can recalibrate our energy levels to a higher frequency and authentically integrate all of who we are (the good, the bad, and the ugly), those who feed on the denser energies will either change or make space for new life to come through.

Ask yourself often: What if I were in human form at this time to assist with birthing a new and higher collective consciousness on Earth? What if I could do that without making anyone else wrong? What if we could actually achieve that one human at a time?

Please keep in mind that we are still in Eclipse season until November 7th. So, as best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

Stay grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 2-3 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to observe the urge — unless it is connected to something that happens organically — if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better hold off until Eclipse Season ends on November 7th.

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 5 degrees of Taurus:

Super Full Moon in Aries — the article

On Sept. 29th, at 5:58am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 6 degrees of Aries — the Moon’s entry into Aries on Thursday evening (Sept. 28th) starts the build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

The Moon in pioneering, fast-paced Aries makes an opposition to the Sun in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra. If you are a site Member, you may also want to watch my video on the subject.

Generally, a Full Moon brings our attention to our “emotional body”, increasing our awareness of what has been suppressed or ignored. This is especially true for this particular Full Moon — since it is the last of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

This is also the first lunation since the Moon Nodes have moved into the Aries-Libra polarity, so it’s a good preview for this Eclipse Season.

We will enter Eclipse season on Oct. 4th => Save yourself a spot for my Zoom webinar on the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Libra, live on Friday, Sept. 29th at 5pm EDT! For more info & to register for this fabulous 2-hour Zoom event, click here
**EARLY BIRD Pricing available until Sept. 27th at midnight EDT!

Pluto is exalted due to its Station phase at the time of the Full Moon. It is preparing to halt and end its 5-month Retrograde phase on October 10th (4 days before the Solar Eclipse becomes exact).

Pluto in Capricorn will become more and more exalted the closer we get to Oct. 10th. More about this in a moment… but first, let’s talk about the Full Moon polarity, in this case, the Aries/Libra polarity.

This polarity directs our awareness to the roles we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships — and this Super Full Moon is thus a call to take action on those roles.

In particular, it brings our focus to “independence”, so ask yourself: Where do I need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Less? Where have I been too independent? Too dependent? What roles or contracts need to be revisited? Or perhaps simply accepted for what they are?

This also involves the balance of feminine and masculine energies within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Ask: Where have these energies gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much masculine? Too much feminine?

Aries symbolizes our requirement to be free to explore and express ourselves; Libra, on the other hand, represents our desire to feel connected and see both sides of the coin by looking at contrast and comparison.

The higher vibrations of Aries include…

The higher vibrations of Aries include courage and strength, openness towards the new, directness, a passionate approach towards life, and a healthy sense of identity and independence. We’re able to develop a healthy sense of self through total honesty with ourselves and with others.

The higher vibrations of Libra include the ability to collaborate and connect on equal footing and achieve balanced or fair outcomes; our capacity for objectivity, dialogue, diplomacy, cooperation, and composure, creating a harmonious and balanced environment for ourselves and others. As you can tell, with Libra, it is all about our one-on-one relationships (business or personal).

Every Full Moon illuminates the shadow side of each sign as well. The “denser/lower” vibrations of Aries can be rash, impulsive, insensitive, and (at worst) combative or destructive. Connecting with the highest vibration of Libra will help to stay away from the denser vibrations of Aries.

Libra’s “denser/lower” vibrations can be indecisiveness, superficiality, and submissiveness — always looking for approval or connection — and a highly idealistic view of what relationships should or could be. All of this can cause difficulties when it comes up against the reality of a relationship. Among other things, a purely intellectual or idealized approach to relating may create separation rather than connection.

Libra, at its densest, also shies away from conflict and might become passive-aggressive — these coping mechanisms are unconscious (in other words, we don’t know we are doing them), but they make the other person angry at us. If we don’t know what to do with the anger that presents itself to us, we could find ourselves at a loss and feeling victimized.

Connecting with the highest vibration of Aries will help us stay away from the denser vibrations of Libra.

Again, Pluto in Capricorn will become more and more exalted the closer we get to Oct. 10th. Pluto represents an aspect of our higher Self that desires our greatest empowerment; we are asked to trust the process that brings this about. Therefore, Pluto might ask us to confront our worst fears, face our darkness and pain, and surrender our personal will to higher guidance. Trust is key!

Becoming aware of (and letting go of) defensive, obsessive, protective, or controlling behaviors serves us now. Only then can the outcome be greater empowerment and passion for life.

Ask yourself: What is my relationship to power? Do I distinguish between the power that comes from within versus that which is connected to external components?

Denying or suppressing our pain, darkness, and fears will keep us behaving from an unconscious place and feeling disempowered. We will continue to blame others for our experiences, giving our power away to those who are happy to take it from us.

We are being invited to learn that true power comes from within — from knowing and accepting the truth, facing the dark, and making the unconscious conscious. Pluto’s exalted energy prompts us to seek ways to step into our power and become more alive from within.

Now let’s talk about some of the aspects of this Super Full Moon chart:

Venus (the ruler of Libra) is still moving through Leo and makes an exact Square to Uranus in Taurus. Due to Venus’ Retrograde phase in August, we have been experiencing this aspect several times. The first time was in late June-early July, the second time was in early-mid August, and now in late September-early October.

This “stretch aspect” asks us to grow beyond what we know and have experienced in the past regarding our relationships (the one with ourselves included).

Think back to early July and early August and ask yourself: What priorities started to shift at this time? Where did I need more distance or space? Where was I able to innovate? How did my relationship to myself or to my finances shift?

We may feel some instability or restlessness in connection to others (or towards ourselves or our finances). What it comes down to is this: Where am I resisting? Who do I disagree with? How important is it?

Venus trines Chiron & the North Node in Aries. This combo heightens compassion and understanding and helps heal some wounds from the past. We also get to engage humorously with our flaws and insecurities.

Ask yourself: What if I decided to take a more innocent approach to my healing process? What if I celebrated my flaws, idiosyncrasies, and insecurities?

What if personal limitations were my main drivers for creative approaches and caring, compassionate self-expression? How open can I be to being “courageously myself”, complete with all my sensitivities and insecurities?

We more easily see beauty in human weaknesses now, rather than fault — it’s a strong time for seeing potential in one another. Where do you see potential?

Venus sextiles Mars & the South Node in Libra. This aspect provides an opportunity to connect with others from a place of joy and playfulness. Ask yourself: What creative endeavors might lead to a valuable connection or collaboration? Or a new beginning with others? How might daring to be authentic and completely transparent with everyone I encounter create a level playing field?

Mars (the ruler of Aries) is currently in Libra and makes multiple aspects to other planets and points in this Super Full Moon chart. Mars symbolizes what lights us up, our passion and willpower, what angers us (i.e., makes us “see red”), and how we deal with conflict.

Let’s list the Mars aspects by their proximity to each other. First, as we already mentioned, Mars sextiles Venus (the ruler of Libra) currently in Leo.

Second, Mars conjuncts the South Node in Libra. With Mars in Libra, we are lit up by initiating contact with others, collaborating on projects that are near and dear to us, taking actions with our partners (life- or business partners), debating the law or relationship issues, mediating for others, fighting for justice, etc.

With Mars on the South Node, these things could also annoy us or bring up frustrations, especially if they are not happening the way we want them to or if there are delays…. Impatience can be a big one for Mars…

With the South Node, we are invited to become aware of the denser vibrations of the Libra energy so we can release any energies or attachments that no longer serve our evolution — and then move toward the higher vibration of the sign.

This is also a call to redefine our understanding of “assertion” and “independence” — and how we act within our one-on-one relationships.

Ask yourself: Do I dominate others? Do others dominate me? Do I need to win when disputes arise? Do I become aggressive when I don’t get what I want from others? Do I attract people into my life that act in passive-aggressive ways?

We are also invited to let go of something or someone that no longer serves our Soul’s evolution. Ask yourself: Who comes to mind?

And if it’s not a person, what comes to mind? Am I experiencing balance in my life? Equality when it comes to my relationships? Am I timid when connecting with others? Too aggressive? Am I feeling particularly impatient with others?

Third, the Mars/South Node conjunction opposes the North Node & Chiron in Aries. This combo asks us to focus (and work) on the healing process of our masculine energies and what we identify with (or as).

It will serve us to create a balance between this need for healing our insecurities or wounds from the past and initiating one-on-one relationships that we feel passionate about or projects that require collaboration with others.

Ask yourself: Might being more accepting of myself despite (or even including) my self-doubt make me a more compassionate collaborator and ally? Are there any new collaborations waiting to be launched?

We may feel insecure around others now; we must first heal our deep fears of not being “good enough”, learn to love ourselves better, and then see how to meet our partners halfway.

If you feel triggered by someone else (or vice versa), direct compassion and kindness towards both of you as best as you can.

Ask yourself: Is this connected to my past or upbringing? What if this were an opportunity to embrace my wounded inner child with love and kindness? What about embracing someone else’s wounded inner child?

Blaming, shaming, attacking, and justifying will not heal us faster; it will cause more pain and suffering within and around us. The question you can ask yourself here is: How quickly would I like to heal?

Fourth, Mars makes a quincunx to Uranus in Taurus. We experience internal stress between our masculine energies (assertiveness/aggression) and our need to express our unique spark (and the desire to make a difference). This could also indicate some restlessness and energetic discomfort in our interactions with others.

Ask yourself: Am I driven by personal resistance and rebellion or by a desire to impact humanity positively? What needs to shift internally so I can stay open and aligned with my unique talents, values, and preferences?

What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable, just for now? Or 5% more comfortable embracing uncertainty? How flexible could I be for the next two weeks if I worked at it?

And lastly, the Mars/South Node alignment in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn.

Pluto in Capricorn, asks us to let go of what is destructive — either to ourselves or to others. We are being invited to learn that true power comes from within — from knowing and accepting the truth by facing the dark, making conscious what has been unconscious.

For the next two weeks, find creative ways to empower yourself and others by coming from love rather than fear — after all, at this moment (if you stay out of memory and away from concepts and imaginary futures), aren’t you actually okay?

Flexibility is key with this aspect — and walking away for 10 minutes might save you from doing something you later regret — and perhaps from burning out.

Ask yourself: When is enough enough? How important is this really? Am I burning bridges I might need to cross later?

Do I use authenticity as a strategy or a weapon of any kind? Do I call myself “honest” when I engage in confrontations, make accusations, or blame others in any form?

Suppose there is a sprinkle of truth there. Could I then experiment with being open, honest, transparent, and authentic about what is so and how I feel at any given moment? Without an agenda? Am I willing to stand completely exposed, allowing the world to go through what it needs to do (or say what it needs to say) while remaining in my power?

If anger does arise, ask yourself: What lies beneath my anger? What am I afraid of losing? Where am I attached? Is it worth my being destructive?

Mercury in Virgo moves over the last New Moon degree on Sept. 30th, only 24 hours after the Full Moon becomes exact, and thus creates very similar aspects to the outer planets, as we have seen in the last New Moon chart.

Mercury trines Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. Uranus is associated with sudden insights, independence, and innovation. Along with Pluto, Uranus forms a Grand Trine in the Earth element with Mercury in Virgo, encouraging resourcefulness, organization, and aligning with our core values.

Ask yourself: Where am I ready for change? Where do I need to stop underestimating myself? Where do I need to break free from conventional wisdom and find my own way?

Mercury also opposes Neptune in Pisces. This opposition asks us to be gentle with ourselves and others as we all struggle to make an unprecedented, dimensional shift.

Extra rest, any form of meditation, and time in nature help speed up the release, rewiring, and recalibration process.

To sum it all up, for this Super Full Moon: The most powerful message here is to heal our relationship with the wounded masculine energies — rash, impulsive, or destructive actions, anger, impatience, domination of other life forms or our fellow humans, etc.

Again, blaming, shaming, attacking, and justifying will not heal us faster — it will only cause more pain and suffering within and around us. The question to ask yourself is: How quickly would I like to heal?

When we can tune in and be compassionate, forgiving, and understanding with our human selves and with other humans, we can learn to respond and heal the wounds from our past, even including those that were handed down to us from our ancestors.

Remember: We are in a critical phase of our spiritual growth, during which we are asked to question and release all that is holding us back, including dysfunctional and restrictive relationships, belief systems, social conditioning, addictions, negative habits, and thought patterns, possessions that take up too much of our time and effort, etc. As best as you can, see this as an opportunity — allow rather than resist!

Ask yourself: How do the ways we relate to ourselves and others also reveal how we relate to control, surrender, and trust?

Could I allow others their own evolutionary journey? Knowing that they are precisely where they need to be? Could I allow myself to evolve exactly as I am? Without rushing my own evolution? Trusting the timing of all things?

Keep in mind for the next two weeks: When we get plenty of rest, we can accomplish more in less time!

If nothing else, do your best to remember that we all signed up for this journey to become spiritual, fully human adults who exist in an ever-expanding, multidimensional realm of physicality… Not always an easy feat. Given that, if nothing else works, turn it over to your Higher Power — your Soul Power.
