Powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus — the article

On November 19th, at 3:57am EST, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 27 degrees of Taurus/Scorpio). This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur, generally (though not always) in pairs of one Lunar and one Solar Eclipse.

This particular Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within a two-week period; it offers an opportunity for a deeper, more authentic connection with ourselves and others.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (both collectively and individually). All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in steady, peaceful Taurus, while the Sun is in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio.

The more receptive we are to these transformative downloads, the more quickly and easily we can integrate them; time in nature, meditation, art, and spiritual endeavors support this integration process and help us better attune to these evolutionary upgrades.

Relationships of all kinds are highlighted during this time — but with this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a particularly strong emphasis both on self-value and on intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what needs to be embraced, integrated, and explored — in regards to the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to Nov. 19th, 2002: What did I need to integrate back then? What became more clear at that time, in regards to exploring my talents? What about my self-worth? Was I able to see my value? What about my relationship to money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address the upcoming Eclipses in our next Forecasting Forum on Nov. 19th, the day of the Lunar Eclipse! Feel free to join us, if you would like to know how these powerful Lunations will impact you personally.

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until Nov. 16th! So feel free to take advantage of that, unless you are already a Star Member — you guys are automatically registered and will receive an email to join us live — it goes out the day before the live event, and the mp4-video recording is released within the 24 hours following the live event.

That’s it for announcements and logistics, back to the Full Moon…

Lots of planets are involved in this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart — two T-Squares, both of them with the Focus Point in Aquarius, and the empty leg in Leo. The ruler of Taurus (Venus) and the ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) are both in Capricorn at the time of this Lunation, making this sign an important place to look for how this Eclipse plays out in our lives. More about the specifics in regards to all of this in a moment….

The Moon Nodes are usually in the same sign as an Eclipse, but there are exceptions — those times where the Moon Nodes have not yet moved into the new polarity, but the Full Moon (or New Moon) is within 15 degrees of the transiting Moon Nodes, and therefore close enough to the Lunation to create an Eclipse effect.

This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Taurus/Scorpio  –– a process which unfolds between Jan. 18th, 2022 and July 17th, 2023.

This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, one that puts an emphasis on…

Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º… so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 27 degrees of Taurus:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 22-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, or 0-2 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

November 8th – 14th

Living Life in Moderation

This week’s headline items: It is time to start taking actions on our New Moon intentions on Tuesday morning; this year’s Saturn/Uranus Square will be within a 5 degree orb again, starting on Tuesday; and on Thursday morning, the First Quarter Moon in Aquarius becomes exact.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early afternoon (for a little over 9 hours); Thursday afternoon (for 12 hours); and Sunday very early morning (for a little over 10 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

I had an amazing Interview with the wonderful Karen Troxell for my Interview Series, “How to Deal with Uncertainty & Change”, Episode Five. She is an intuitive Facilitator through Movement, Meditation, & Coaching, and uses other modalities in Sacred Retreats. If you are able to watch this 60-minute interview, please do: I highly recommend it! ==> click here to watch!

We talked about so many amazing things, including: Healing through community, self-care, gratitude, imbalances, the pain of shame, being human, how to deal with depression and weight issues, and more. Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 8th:

Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do” 😉

Monday very early morning, could prove to be a great opportunity to connect with others and talk about our long-term plans, so we can get some clarity about what we feel most passionate about. We may want to communicate our desire for deeper, more intimate connections with others — or, at the very least, conduct some research into how to have such connections. (Moon in Capricorn sextiles Mercury in Scorpio, exact at 2:13am EST)

Monday early morning, use this intuitive time as an opportunity to investigate your deepest motivations and align them with your long-term goals and achievements. We are capable of great focus for this period. As with all opportunities in life, this one is not simply handed to us, we have to make something of it. Might deeper perspectives into our psyche move us closer to long-term goals? (Moon in Capricorn sextiles Mars in Scorpio, exact at 5:49am EST)

Monday late morning/early afternoon, we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. As best as you can, make space for looking into some alternative exercise programs or holistic approaches to your personal projects and current long-term commitments. Compassion is key 😉 (Moon in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries, exact at 11:05am EST)

Monday late afternoon/early evening, we are invited to connect with like-minded people, and explore something new, out there in the world, that aligns with our unique talents or our progressive values. We are better able to connect to anything that involves a long-term commitment. We perhaps might also implement revolutionary business practices or government programs that support…

November 1st – 7th

Stay Open & Flexible

This week’s headline items: the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Monday morning; Mercury exits its post-Shadow phase on Tuesday evening; the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact Thursday late afternoon (and Eclipse season also begins on Thursday). Venus changes signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn Friday morning, and Mercury changes signs from Libra to Scorpio Friday evening. Daylight Savings Time ends here in the US, very early Sunday morning.

There will be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday early afternoon (for a little over 6 hours); Wednesday evening (for almost 2.5 hours); Friday early afternoon (for almost 9 hours); and Sunday morning (for a little over 11 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, November 1st:

Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 7:11pm EDT. Until then, our focus turns toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:18am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Friday evening (Oct. 29th) on; and it will remain strong until Tuesday evening. Due to Mercury’s Retrograde motion in October, this is the third time in a 6-week period that this aspect has become exact. The first time was on Sept. 20th, and the second time was on Oct. 3rd.

Think back to those dates and ask yourself: What did I notice in my communications with others? Did I feel an increase in my interactions with others or my communities (both in-person or online)?

We already talked about this aspect in last week’s blog. If you are currently a Member, click here and scroll down to Sunday (Oct. 31st) to read the whole post about the harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect, or look for your Daily Forecast email for Sunday, Oct. 31st.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini,? If so, you will feel most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Monday morning, around 9am EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins as the Moon reaches 24 degrees of Virgo. This lasts until Thursday late afternoon, when the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact (more on that on Thursday… however, feel free to watch my video on the subject here).

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Monday late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:20am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday (Oct. 31st) late morning on, and it will remain strong until Tuesday late morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us “hiding out”… which leaves us feeling strangely guilty… which leads to us behaving in weird ways… and we end up thinking “did I really just do that?”

As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-11 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).

Monday early afternoon, at 1pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 6 hours, until 7:11pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to be precise and practical in your thinking and work. You may also want to be active and have an adventure with others.

The tension between these two urges invites us to stretch a little and reach a resolution through creative solutions — the key here is to be of service and allow for experimentation, so we don’t drive ourselves or others crazy. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible — and don’t be too hard on yourself.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early afternoon until Monday evening ahead of time.

Monday at 7:11pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until next week, Wednesday evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for…

New Moon in Scorpio – the article

On Nov. 4th at 5:15pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 12.5 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle.

With the New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio it brings our focus to our intimate relationships, and deepest emotional desires and fears; if you’d like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject 🙂

This New Moon is also the start of Eclipse season — which lasts until Jan. 2nd, 2022. My next Full Moon video will already be about the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus (the first of two Eclipses taking place within the next 4.5 weeks).

Eclipses are times of uncertainty, Uranian in nature, so anything could happen between now and January 2nd. It is important to remember that Eclipses open a door to the next level of our Soul’s evolution.

As best as you can, stay both grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 8.5 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to simply observe the urge. The exception would be something that just happens organically, but if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better to hold off until Eclipse Season ends on January 2nd.

Eclipses bring major endings and beginnings. As best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

That said, projects and interactions that got underway prior to Eclipse season (i.e. before Nov. 4th) are another matter — don’t stop your life just because it is Eclipse season 😉

I will also talk about the upcoming two Eclipses in more detail in my next Forecasting Forum. If you want to know how these powerful Lunations are going to impact you personally, feel free to join us — we will apply what’s coming up to our own birth charts. The Forum is on Nov. 19th at 2pm EST (the day of the Lunar Eclipse) — for more info, click here.

Also available for purchase as an mp4-video presentation, after Nov. 19th, on my Webinar-page.

Please note that registration to the Forum also includes access to the next Members Lunar Eclipse video and a recording of the live-event 😉 AND, there is an Early Bird Special that will be available until Nov. 16th at midnight EST!

A couple of things to note in this New Moon chart: we have an exact opposition to Uranus in Taurus, the planet associated with breakdowns, breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom and innovation.

We have a T-Square with Saturn in Aquarius as the Focus Point; Venus in Sagittarius will be in an exalted degree at the time of the New Moon; and Mercury (the ruler of the current North Node) is yet again highly aspected by many of the other planets in this New Moon chart, including Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio). More about all of that in a moment, but first let’s talk about the Scorpio energies…

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it relates not only to the depths of our own psyche, but also to the ecstasies and traumas of relationships. Scorpio is also the sign most associated with…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 5:15pm (Nov. 4th) and 12:10pm on Nov. 5th; then again from 8:52pm (Nov. 5th) until 5:15pm on Nov. 6th — New York Time/US Eastern Time (please keep in mind that Europe and the UK do no longer have Daylight Savings Time, therefore the time difference is an hour less than usual at the time of the New Moon)

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Nov. 4th, 5th and 6th, to let you know when it is the most potent time to set your intentions.

Let Your Intuition Guide You

This week’s headline items: there are no longer any stationing (exalted) planets in the sky; the last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Thursday afternoon; Mars changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Saturday late morning.

I should also note that Daylight Savings Time ends in Europe and Great Britain early Sunday morning, but continues in the US.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for almost 7 hours); Thursday very early morning (3 hours); and Saturday very early morning (almost 11 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 25th:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 5pm EDT. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday late morning, at 10:11am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for almost 7 hours, until 5pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with others, socialize, and share information with them.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to pre-plan Monday late morning until the early evening.

Monday at 5pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel…

October 18th – 24th

When is enough, enough?

This week’s headline items: very early Monday, Jupiter comes to a halt, ending its 4-month Retrograde phase — and Mercury follows suit later that morning. Saturn ends its Station phase on Tuesday and Pluto does likewise on Thursday. The Full Moon in Aries becomes exact Wednesday morning. On Saturday, the Sun changes signs from Libra to Scorpio, and Mercury ends its Station phase; Jupiter also ends its Station phase, on Sunday.

There will only be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday late morning (for 5 hours); and Friday late afternoon (for 11.5 hours).

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to make an announcement:

Last chance to sign up for this week’s Forum!  ==> We have our monthly Forecasting Forum coming up at the end of this work-week…please see the very bottom of this Weekly Forecast for more info!

Or click here for more info and to register, for this month only.

To ask a question in advance; please email me by Oct. 21st at midnight EDT,… and if I don’t have it yet, send me a copy of your Birth Chart (If you have done a Reading or Coaching-Healing session with me in the past, or if you have already emailed me a copy of your chart, I will have it. If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, October 18th:

Monday is a big day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 6:04am EDT.

Monday very early morning, at 1:30am EDTJupiter comes to a halt at 22º of Aquarius, and slowly starts to move direct again, after a 4-month Retrograde phase; Jupiter’s energy will be felt most strongly at this time.

We already talked about this, in great detail, in last week’s blog. If you are currently a Member, click here and scroll down to Sunday (Oct. 17th) to read the whole post about Jupiter coming to a halt, or look for your Daily Forecast email for Sunday, Oct. 17th.

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendant) in 20-24 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio will be more affected by this Jupiter station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).

Monday at 6:04am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon, exact on Wednesday late morning.

Monday late morning, at 11:17am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in 10 degrees of Libra and slowly starts its direct motion, after its 3-week Retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its post-Shadow phase…more on that in a moment…

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective.

Ask yourself: What did I learn about my inner dialog, and the relationship between my inner feminine & masculine energies, over the past 3 weeks? How might I share my findings in a healthy way with others? What needs to be addressed with regards to one-on-one relationships, fairness, a balanced approach, or collaborations?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Oct. 23rd), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Feel free to also watch my chat with Lia about the Mercury Retrograde phase in Libra. We connected last week and chatted about how this has been impacting us, and about the value of a Retrograde phase…

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 8-12 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn.

Monday after 11:17am EDTMercury’s post-Shadow phase begins — lasting until Nov. 2nd…. as you may recall, I mentioned Mercury Shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde, and after it goes direct.

This is especially true if the items are connected to technology, transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.), or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) Click here to read my blog on the subject.

Monday late evening, a harmonious Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 10:36pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Thursday evening (Oct. 14th) on; and it will remain strong until next week, Saturday evening (Oct. 23rd). This aspect brings optimism, enthusiasm, and expansion to our personal goals, creative projects, and explorations.

It’s a good time for bold, decisive action, that leads very directly to success in our various projects — especially those with one-on-one collaborations, equal relationships, win-win situations, or that require a just or fair outcome.

Our positive attitude helps us to take risks that get us unstuck, and we have the vigor to blast through challenges; use this aspect to tackle anything that seemed impossible in the past 😉

Ask yourself: Where am I pining for a greater connection with others? What might be possible if I kept inspiring others? Or kept being the change I want to see in the world?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini? Do you have an Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you will be …
