Things Intensify — Forecast for Sept. 21st – 27th
This week’s headline items: Monday is the best time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions, while on Tuesday, Saturn’s and Pluto’s Station intensify, and the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra (marking the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere) and squaring the degree of the Solar Eclipse that we had back on June 21st. On Wednesday, Mercury enters its pre-Shadow phase in the early evening and the first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact in the late evening; on Sunday, Mercury changes signs from Libra to Scorpio, and the Mars Station finally comes to an end.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for a little over one hour), Wednesday afternoon (for almost 6 hours), and Friday night (for 2.5 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:
Since Mercury’s Shadow phase begins this week on Wednesday late afternoon/early evening, I recommend that you take notice or journal on some of the things that come up in your relationships between Sept. 22nd and October 13th. We will also cover the Mercy Retrograde (that is coming up in October) in our next Forecasting Forum (live on Oct. 4th). To get more info or to register now: click here.
Star Members are automatically signed up for the Forums each month. Please look out for the emails to join live and to watch the mp4-video recording.
Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Sept. 21st:
Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 3:32pm EDT. We feel things deeply and have “X-Ray Vision” and “Bullshit-Smelling Abilities” 😉
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Monday before 2:13pm EDT or after 3:32pm EDT, it’s time to start taking actions on our New Moon intentions: if you set Intentions last week after the New Moon became exact, today (Monday) will be the best time to take relevant actions.
If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Monday at 2:13pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over one hour until 3:32pm EDT. This intuitive time provides an opportunity to look at your ability to go deeper within your intimate relationships and financial partnerships; it’s also a good time to get in touch with your power to transform old behaviors and fears, and bring those abilities to your long-term commitments.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late afternoon ahead of time.
Monday at 3:32pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Sept. 23rd. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Monday late evening, a somewhat challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Sunday late evening (Sept. 20th) on, it will remain strong until Tuesday late evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
This aspect marks a fork in the road: Will we step onto a path of creative self-expression and joyful interaction? Or will we take the path that leads to a larger understanding around social structures and of our perspectives and attitudes around long-term goals and achievements?
Either way, we can develop a new perspective on how to approach these issues in our life. Awareness is key with this aspect: What is needed? How can we serve the broader view?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-19 degrees of Leo or Capricorn? If so, you will…

Discernment (or Careful Evaluation)
This week’s headline items: Mars, Jupiter & Pluto are still exalted/stationing all week, and Saturn’s Station phase begins on Monday — it will be slowing down, getting ready to end its 4.5-month Retrograde phase — while on Thursday morning, the SuperMoon/New Moon in Virgo becomes exact. There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for almost 3.5 hours), Thursday morning (a little over 7 hours) and Saturday late morning (a little over 4 hours).
Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Sept. 14th:
Monday, the Moon remains in fun-loving and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.
We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂 So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart with this and all other things… be honest, authentic.
Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?
Monday evening, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 7:09pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from this last week Friday evening (Sept. 11th) on, it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of “what works and what doesn’t”, we can make more powerful choices.
We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.
Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now, that no longer serve my evolution? Would I be willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio).
Also Monday, Saturn’s Station phase begins (in 25.5º of Capricorn); it will be slowing down, getting ready to end its 4.5-month Retrograde phase. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to “do” life, on life’s terms.
As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal “earth class” be in, right now? Where are you asked to look at your current “earth structures” and become more mature? Which long-term goal calls out for commitment? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will last until Oct. 14th; and Saturn goes direct — after having been retrograde for 4.5-month — on Sept. 29th in almost 25.5 degrees of Capricorn.
We are getting ready to move forward on some important long-term goals, but we’ll need to be patient until Saturn goes direct on Sept. 29th. Until then, as best as you can, realistically evaluate what’s needed in order to build some healthy, long-lasting foundations for the next phase in your life.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-16 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will…

On Sept. 17th at 7am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 25 degrees of Virgo, marking the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Feel free to click here and watch my New Moon video on the subject.
Not only is this the beginning of a new Moon cycle, it is also a “SuperMoon“; these occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth.
SuperMoons generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies. This, in turn, facilitates greater shifts in consciousness.
This Super New Moon also has an abundance of planets in Earth signs, similar to the last Full Moon (that was exact on Sept. 2nd). The Moon & the Sun in Virgo, Jupiter, Pluto & Saturn in Capricorn, and Uranus in Taurus. This means that our physical & structural realities, and the sustainability of those realities, take the forefront on both the individual and collective levels.
Ask yourself: Is my current life — its form and how it’s set up structurally — sustainable as it is? What if “simplifying my life” supported my current structures?
There are also four stationing planets in this New Moon chart: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto!
This means all four of these planet’s energies are exalted, making their vibrations louder — something is “in our face” in relation to these energies for the next month, demanding our attention and awareness. I will talk more about this below, but first let’s look at the Virgo energy of this Super New Moon:
Virgo provides an opportunity to learn about being of service — and what it might mean to strengthen our focus on improving our daily routines — getting organized, for example — and taking care of health matters.
This New Moon cycle will thus be a great time to begin new projects that demand attention to detail, list-making, and taking pride in “small” accomplishments. We might start a new health regimen, perhaps by paying close attention to our diet; we could also set up specific routines that help us manage our lives in constructive and mindful ways.
This cycle is all about handling the nitty-gritty details of our day-to-day life in an organized, step-by-step fashion, so we can free our minds of clutter. Where could you use more open space?
Things to watch out for…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would be between 7:00am and 7:42am on Sept. 17th; and then again from 2:56pm on Sept. 17th until 7:00am on Sept. 19th (New York-time).
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (that’s the US East Coast time zone), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Sept. 17th and 18th throughout the day, and on Sept. 19th in the morning, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions 😉

Allow a Sense of Flow — Forecast for Sept. 7th – 13th
This week’s headline items: Mars comes to a halt on Wednesday early evening, starting its 2.5 month Retrograde phase. The last Quarter Moon in Gemini becomes exact, Thursday early morning; Jupiter comes to a halt and ends its 4-month retrograde phase on Saturday evening; Pluto begins its Station phase on Saturday (getting ready to end its 5-month Retrograde phase); the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Sunday late evening.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for a little over 8.5 hours), Thursday night/Friday very early morning (for a little over 3.5 hours), and Sunday morning (for almost 3.5 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Sept. 7th:
Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next few days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever.
Monday very early morning, if possible, connect with people that can support your projects on a practical level, and share with them what you have going on.
Monday early afternoon, provides the perfect opportunity to get lots of practical issues handled without needing to stress or push. Make sure to enjoy a good meal or a nice beverage during the next four hours 😉
Monday late afternoon, it is best to slow down a little and explore what’s sitting right in front of us that needs to be taken care of, so we can gain a new perspective around our goals and accomplishments; expanding too fast will backfire right now.
Monday evening, we have an opportunity to meet our need for material comfort with a…

Both Attainable & Nurturing — Forecast Aug. 31st – Sept. 6th
This week’s headline items: the Mars Station remains intense all week (see last Friday’s entry for more details); the Full Moon in Pisces becomes exact on very early Wednesday; Mercury changes signs from Virgo to Libra on Saturday afternoon; Jupiter’s Station intensifies on Saturday; Venus changes sign from Cancer to Leo, very early on Sunday.
There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday night/Tuesday very early morning (for a little over 4.5 hours), Thursday late morning (for almost 6 hours) and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for 4 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I’d like to mention:

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, Aug. 31st:
Monday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or on outer space 🙂 Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Monday early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:54am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Sunday early morning (Aug. 30th) on, it will be strong until this Tuesday early morning . This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us “hiding out”… which leaves us feeling strangely guilty… which leads to us saying weird things… and we end up thinking “did I really just do that?”
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-10 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, at 12:56am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 4.5 hours until 5:34am EDT (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and take actions on the things that can bring you progress.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t…

On Sept. 2nd, at 1:22am EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 10 degrees of Pisces. The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces makes an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo. If you are already a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject: click here.
With this Full Moon, we are dealing with two stationing planets — Mars & Jupiter — both of which we will investigate in more detail during our upcoming Forecasting Forum on Aug. 30th. Jupiter in Capricorn is preparing to end its 4-month Retrograde phase on Sept. 12th, and is therefore exalted; Mars in Aries is preparing to start its 9-week Retrograde phase on Sept. 9th, and is also exalted.
We are getting ready to retrace our steps (Mars), and are looking for the moral high ground when it comes to our long-term goals or social structures (Jupiter). For a more in-depth interpretation of your own chart, feel free to get the Mars in Retrograde webinar here (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, check your email, webinar was sent to you on Aug. 30th in the evening).
This Full Moon has six planets in Earth signs: The Sun & Mercury in Virgo, Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter in Capricorn. A heavy concentration in Earth signs focuses our attention on our relationship with our body, money, resources, and the Earth.
Now let’s first address this Full Moon’s polarities: The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head with the heart, logic with intuition, matter with spirit. So the question is: how do we integrate Pisces and Virgo?
This may seem a challenging question, given Virgo’s leaning toward detailed, analytical understanding, contrasted with Pisces’ call to open our heart and allow for all (including things that seem paradoxical to the mind). In fact, on an energetic level there is no separation, everything is interconnected — we need both left- and right-brain (the logical and the creative).
Ask yourself: What if nothing and no one were separate? Appearing to be different, yes, but not separate…
The mind acts like a filtering mechanism that helps us to focus and function more efficiently. Virgo analyzes, whereas Pisces feels, senses. Virgo seeks physical wholeness, Pisces reminds us of a greater wholeness — a spiritual wholeness — our interconnectedness with all of life, the allowing of all the mysteries of life.
To be at its best, Virgo aims for practical applications and to be of service, while Pisces learns to listen to inner/intuitive guidance above all else, using its imagination to bring love and light into this world, to sprinkle mystery fairy dust, and to create Paradise on Earth.
When these two archetypes are balanced within, we discern without judgment, serve with an open heart, and improve our daily lives without getting hung up on timing or perfectionism, bringing love and compassion to all of life’s apparent curveballs.
That said, let’s also talk about the shadow side of those signs, as we do with all Full Moons: Virgo’s shadow side is…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-12 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this Full Moon — this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
