Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, June 5th:
Monday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius and VoCuntil 3:31am EDT.
Monday at 3:31am EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning (June 7th). We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying, “I am doing the best I can, and that’s all I can ever do”.
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is currently transiting through Pisces. This is a great time to look for practical applications of our dreams, ideologies, connection to Source, or one-consciousness.
It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our spiritual or creative aspirations; as best as you can, be authentic about your intuitive connection to life. What works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to your idealism, addictions, avoidance of life, and dreams?
What about life truly resonates with you — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago? Where in your life is it time to let go of naiveté or an idealistic approach that no longer serves you?
What tools or structures support you with being in the flow, being present, and feeling connected to the Universe in this now-moment? What needs your time and attention? What could you practice every day? What do you genuinely want to commit yourself to?
Monday at 9:46am EDT, Venus changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo, where it will journey until Oct. 9th — an unusually long time due to its upcoming Retrograde phase (in late July-early September). Venus in Leo changes how we “do” relationships.
We’re “in love with love”, so we especially appreciate (and are turned on by) gestures of love and romance. It goes the other way, too: we are warm, affectionate, and loyal with those we love and cherish (as long as they show us that they deserve our love). Grand gestures of love and exciting, tantalizing interactions work best. Lavish everyone with compliments (including yourself).
We also want to have fun and express our love for life… and what better way is there to do that than to throw a huge party for everyone we love? And if a “huge party” doesn’t appeal, don’t opt for the couch and the TV: get out there. It’s a good time to take a chance!
“Taking a chance” applies to the financial realm, especially any ventures related to entertainment, children, sports, or the stock market.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more outgoing and confident for the period Venus moves through Leo. Your heart will want to connect and be admired. Creative endeavors will feel satisfying to you. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Monday early afternoon, a Venus/Pluto opposition becomes exact at 12:05pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect buildfrom last week, Saturday morning (June 3rd) on, and it will remain strong until this Thursday (June 8th). We are called to create a balance between our desire for having fun and expressing our love for life in the present moment versus our desire to transform and shake things up when it comes to our visions for ourselves and for our communities.
We can learn a lot about ourselves through relationships during this opposition phase. We may not altogether like what we see, though, as we perhaps glimpse our own “darker” side — and it will be critical that we recognize it as our own “stuff” rather than projecting it onto a romantic partner, collaborator, or friend.
Sexual intensity can be a part of this transit, too — as can fear of losing meaningful connections or of being abandoned. Ask yourself: What fears or concerns are coming into awareness in connection with an important relationship of mine? What needs to transform so I can honor myself and connect in an authentic way and thus experience an empowered version of myself? Might I deepen my relationships with others if I brought 5% more grace and an open heart to my interactions?
We have a deeply lodged need to establish a sense of self-worth at this time; we may start to argue or lay blame in order to feel better about ourselves. We need to be less concerned with how we “appear” to others and more with how we actually “are”.
All of this could bring up deep feelings in connection with other people. There also might be a tendency to confuse “Love” and “Power” right now; as best as you can, be true to yourself and come from an open heart rather than a scared one. Ask yourself: What would “Love” do?
An opposition always comes back to the starting point of the conjunction between the two planets involved. In this case, Venus and Pluto aligned on January 1st, 2023, at 27.5º Capricorn. Think back to that time: What relationships began at the beginning of this year? How about the relationship you have with yourself? What seeds were planted? What have you learned about your shadow, your focus, and your ability to stay committed to something or someone? How far have you come since then?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio or 27-29 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you may be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Tuesday, June 6th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricornall day (see Monday early morning for details).
Tuesday, Saturn starts to slow down — begins its Station phase. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments, and ability to “do” life on life’s terms.
As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal “earth class” be in right now? Where are you asked to look at your current “earth structures” and become more mature? Which long-term goal calls for a commitment? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station phase will last until June 24th, and Saturn starts its 4.5-month Retrograde phase on June 17th, in 7 degrees of Pisces (more on that in next week’s Forecast).
UntilJune 24th, we will feel a greater urge to go within, do our spiritual work, and face our various modes of escapism from this world. Ask yourself: What if I just decided to act with maturity and self-responsibility while staying present and going with the flow — even if I don’t know where things are headed?
What do I see now that needs my attention, that is keeping me from feeling truly connected to my intuitive knowing? To my higher Self? To my compassionate heart?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn.
Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, at 12:40am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 4 hours, until 4:42am EDT (Wednesday early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to soften your need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach.
As always, with a Moon VoC as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday night until Wednesday early morning ahead of time.
Wednesday, June 7th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn and VoCuntil 4:42am EDT (see Monday early morning and Tuesday night for details).
Wednesday at 4:42am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Friday early morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and this planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to look at our physical connection to our own body, finances, and whatever is most important to us on this planet.
It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us or keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.
Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?
Where have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?
Wednesday early morning, we are invited to pay attention to our attachments and aversions around things, people, places, and even ourselves. Ask yourself: What if I were 5% less attached to people “seeing things my way”? (Moon conjuncts Pluto in Aquarius, exact at 4:48am EDT)
Wednesday morning, we are invited to make clear choices when it comes to relating to others. Do your best to honor your own creative self-expression when connecting with like-minded people. (Moon in Aquarius opposes Venus in Leo, exact at 7:39am EDT)
Wednesday late morning/early afternoon, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space either for connections with like-minded people and involvement in a cause or for exploring your values and expanding your perspectives around financial issues or the physical enjoyment of life. (Moon in Aquarius squares Jupiter in Taurus, exact at 12:35pm EDT)
Wednesday late evening, we are invited to make clear choices when it comes to engaging with like-minded people. Do your best to find a balance between your need for a cause that changes the future for some (or many) and your desire for heartfelt, joyful self-expression and courageous actions (Moon in Aquarius opposes Mars in Leo, exact at 10:11pm EDT)
Thursday, June 8th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday early morning for details).
Thursday late afternoon, Venus squares the Moon Nodes (in 3º05′ of Taurus-Scorpio), when she reaches 3º05′ of Leo. This aspect started to build from Monday (June 5th) on; it will stay strong until Sunday evening (June 11th). Squares mark turning points; they challenge us to go beyond our survival strategies and stay joyful, self-expressed, and with our hearts wide open.
With these Squares, we are being asked to take a 90-degree turn, showing our gratitude forour relationships and for all we have already received and enjoyed where finances and relationships are concerned.
We must make a perceptual shift in order to move forward — and this one is a turning point in our relationships (the one with ourselves included) — we must balance our need for physical comforts against more authentic, emotional connections — those that support a deeper understanding of our past traumas and support us in moving beyond them into a future that provides stability and abundance.
Ask yourself: Where do I need to step more fully into my power while remaining self-expressed and open? What might become possible for me if I got really clear about how to create more joyful, authentic connections in my life? How might focusing on what I am grateful for create more ease and joy? What might keep a smile on my face, no matter what?
Since we are dealing with a lot of Fixed Signs here, it would be futile to get too attached to thoughts, visions, pride, emotional connections, comforts, habits, opinions, etc.
Jupiter is very close to the North Node in Taurus, while Pluto in Aquarius opposes Venus in Leo, and they both square the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio; so, we are dealing with a fixed Grand Cross. It demands we stay the course and pay attention to our attachments and aversions around things, people, places, and even ourselves.
Ask yourself: What if I were 5% less attached to others “seeing things my way”? What if “always getting what I want” was not all it’s cracked up to be? How could I take things 5% less personally when dealing with others? What am I resisting? What needs my attention? What needs my appreciation when it comes to relating, connecting with others, and honoring myself?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this planetary configuration quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Thursday night/Friday very early morning, at 12:24am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 6 hours, until 6:14am EDT (Friday early morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.
Make space either for connections with like-minded people and involvement in a cause or for sharing your own values and learning about financial benefits or physical enjoyment.
As always, with a Moon VoC as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday night until Friday early morning ahead of time.
Friday, June 9th:
Friday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusand VoCuntil 6:14am EDT (see Wednesday early morning and Thursday night for details).
Friday at 6:14am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Sunday late morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also an excellent time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.
It’s also a great time to allow all there is as it is, and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves, so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.
Ask yourself: Is my “Higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?
Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and animals teach me about those realms?
Do I need more downtime? More resting time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon, exact on Saturday afternoon (more on that tomorrow…)
Friday late afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:14pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday morning on; it will remain strong until Saturday night. This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process.
Having faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will be of service to us at this time. Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do well at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and ability to get things done.
Let yourself be inspired! A book, a song, a movie, or someone else’s words allow the Universe to speak to you. Open your mind to a higher vibration — and remember, opportunities are openings… they aren’t necessarily handed to us… we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Saturday, June 10th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Piscesall day (see Friday morning for details).
Saturday very early morning, an opportune Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 3:07am EDT. We started to feel this aspect buildfrom Wednesday evening on, and it will remain strong until next week, Monday (June 12th). This aspect is an opportunity for self-healing; this could support our confidence and bring us into better alignment with our physical and emotional bodies.
We all have flaws, wounds, and insecurities. The more we can open up to that being ok for ourselves, the less judgmental we will be with others. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths — how might this be true for you?
Until Monday morning (June 12th), as best as you can, practice gentleness; be kind to yourself and others. Again, remember: an opportunity is an opening, a glimpse of new possibilities — so “opportunities” are not simply handed to us, tied up with a bow — we have to “take” them and make something of them. What will you do with this particular opportunity?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo(the Sun rules Leo).
Saturday at 3:31pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 19.5 degrees of Pisces becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build the moment the Moon entered Pisces, on Friday morning. The Moon in creative, sensitive Pisces makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in versatile, fast-thinking Gemini. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed — and what needs to be changed.
This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon in Gemini (on June 18th). With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed.
What — if anything — needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since May 19th? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this month’s last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Sunday, June 11th:
Sunday is a huge day (astrologically speaking); the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Piscesuntil 9:20am EDT (see Friday morning for details).
Sunday at 5:47am EDT, Pluto re-enters ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn(due to its current Retrograde phase). Pluto started its 15-year journey through this sobering Earth sign in January 2008 and continued until March 23rd, 2023; this return visit will last until January 21st, 2024. This journey initiated a deeper inquiry into our relationship to traditions, social structures, and authority (both inner and outer).
Think back to the period between January and late March of this year: What did you learn about your own authority in the world? What came up in your business dealings with others? How about with your Soul Purpose? What deeper issues need to be re-addressed from that time? What is asking to be transformed?
And now, turning your attention to the 15 years that have passed since 2008: What toxic traditions have you uncovered from your social conditioning? Where have you put too much pressure on yourself because of these toxic traditions and conditionings? What has been your biggest “SHOULD” over the past 15 years? Are you ready to make choices that are not based on “shoulds”? What would that look like?
Between now and Oct. 10th, with Pluto in Retrograde, we have a chance to re-evaluate our relationship to our long-term goals and aspirations and how empowered we feel about them out there in the world (i.e. within the current social structures that are in place). This is an internal process — a chance to go within and see what feels most in alignment with our Soul’s desire for sustainable autonomy.
This is also an optimal time to continue any unfinished processes in connection to our Soul Purpose. We are invited to dig deeper and transform what doesn’t feel emotionally authentic and make deeper alliances with people, places, or things that bring us closer to an empowered experience — one where we can feel passionate about what we are building out there in the world.
A systematic, practical approach to reaching our goals is definitely favored until January of next year; we may obsess over long-term successes, so make sure you incorporate some self-care.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign inScorpio? If so, you will be more serious and possibly more eager to accomplish concrete goals. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Capricorn? If so, you will most likely feel a greater need for deeper connections and for processing old traumas.
Sunday early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 6:26am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from this Friday morning on; it will be strong until Tuesday (June 13th). Our words and our “speaking” are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others.
We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations toward long-term goals. We investigate our own thoughts in a very realistic way and look to see what needs to be done next.
Ask yourself: which of my values and preferences support my long-term goals? What — if anything — needs a closer look (and deep honesty with myself) when it comes to my long-term goals or achievements? What needs to be addressed and brought up into full consciousness in order to get to a place of emotional authenticity with myself and the world?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, or 0-2 degrees of Gemini, Aquarius, or Libra? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio).
Sunday at 6:27am EDT, Mercury changes signs from steady, slow-paced Taurus to curious, quick-witted Gemini, where it will journey until June 26th.For the next 2 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: Mercury — the energy of communication — will pick up the pace of our lives just a little.
Mental exchanges and abilities take priority for the next two weeks — talking, writing, sharing, connecting to the world around us in whatever way we can (internet, phone, in person, TV, radio…). This is a time with great potential for studying and learning, curiosity and open-mindedness, and social/intellectual growth.
Make sure you don’t exhaust yourself during this time. As best as you can, keep taking breaks and let yourself see the larger picture now and again. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the pick up in pace more strongly.
Sunday late morning, at 9:20am EDT, we enter a very, very brief Moon VoC that will last less than one minute. Take this moment to close your eyes, take some deep breaths, and tune in.
Sunday, also at 9:20am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday afternoon. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Sunday late morning, a challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 11:40am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday evening (June 7th) on; it will remain strong until next week, Thursday evening (June 15th). This aspect asks that we question our most fundamental beliefs and conditioning around money, valuing ourselves, and our relationships.
We are invited to investigate how we view our life philosophies. We are called to grow beyond our current understanding of what our values led us to pursue until now. What are you observing about yourself and your life perspectives and expectations of others? What is enough… and what is too much?
Issues connected to love, relationships, and whatever is most valuable to us can seem overwhelming at this time. This is because we have a tendency to overindulge or over-promise.
Ask yourself: When it comes to money, could it be that I sometimes operate from assumptions that no longer hold up? If that were so, what might those assumptions be? What might the worn-out assumptions around love be? Where am I overindulging, based on what I think I deserve, rather than what is truly meaningful to me and realistic?
Overspending could also be a real issue here with this aspect. If you feel overly optimistic about a financial undertaking or a relationship, ask yourself: Could I write down at least three pros and cons to gain a clearer, more realistic picture?
We mean well because we are feeling quite optimistic and open-hearted at this time, but may underestimate how much time we actually have or how good a fit something actually is. As best as you can, bring a non-judgmental awareness to any such tendencies.
Ask yourself: Where do I need to distinguish between what I want and what I need? Between Abundance and Indulgence? Between Persistent and Stubborn?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-9 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
And…
A heads up for next Monday (June 12th): the Moon remains inpioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. In the morning, the Moon trines Mars in Leo, exact at 8:35am EDT. In the evening, the Moon conjuncts Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:15pm EDT; and in the late evening, it sextiles the Sun in Gemini, exact at 11:59pm EDT. Also, on Monday, Saturn’s Station phase intensifies at 7º of Pisces. More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, May 29th:
Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 10:51am EDT. Until then, we are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday at 5:46am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 5 hours until 10:51am EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition.
It’s an excellent time for connecting with others and being of service. You may also want to talk to your pets or engage in more spiritual conversations that can also support your physical well-being.
As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday morning ahead of time.
Monday at 10:51am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seekingLibra, where it will journey until Wednesday evening (May 31st). The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time as we seek the approval of others.
We want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, we are invited to make some more internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to focus our own energy bodies and take a more serious look at our spiritual or creative goals. What do you recognize works best for you when you get in touch with your intuitive, more creative side? What does spiritual self-mastery mean to you? (Moon in Libra quincunxes Saturn in Pisces, exact at 12:18am EDT)

Tuesday, May 30th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seekingLibraall day (see Monday late morning for details).
Tuesday early morning, if we are awake already, we may feel rather social and aware of our need for mental stimulation. So, if you are already up and about, do your best to have stimulating conversations — and allow for open-minded discussions with win-win outcomes. (Moon in Libra trines the Sun in Gemini, exact at 3:39am EDT)
Tuesday afternoon, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: on the one hand, we may feel the need to connect with others and be polite, diplomatic, or agreeable — but on the other hand, we may also want to communicate our preferences and think about how we can honor ourselves — our physical & material needs and wants (Moon in Libra quincunxes Mercury in Taurus, exact at 2:50pm EDT)
Tuesday late evening, we become more aware that we need to find a balance between two very different energies — on the one hand, taking a compassionate approach towards our personal goals while being assertive (in a holistic way) out there in the world — and on the other hand, our need to connect and collaborate with others.
Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach toward my “human persona” made for more fulfilling connections with others? (Moon in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries, exact at 10:54pm EDT)
Wednesday, May 31st:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seekingLibrauntil 8:29pm EDT (see Monday late morning for details).
Wednesday until midnight EDT is your last chance to take advantage of the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for the upcoming Forecasting Forum, live on Friday, June 2nd, at 5pm EDT.
PLEASE NOTE we will investigate the upcoming Grand Cross in the Fixed signs involving Venus, Jupiter, Pluto & the Moon Nodes: in Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius (at its strongest on June 5th!). How will this show up for you? What area of life will be most affected?Join me live or sign up for the mp4 video presentation.
To ask a question in advance, please email meby June 2nd at 3pm EDT,… and if I don’t have it yet, send me a copy of your Birth Chart (If you have done a Reading or Coaching-Healing session with me in the past, or if you have already emailed me a copy of your chart, I will have it. If none of this applies to you, send me a pdf of your birth chart).
(Please keep in mind:Star Members are automatically registered and will receive an email with the link to join live on June 1st in the afternoon and on June 2nd, an hour before the live event begins. Please email me right away if you are not receiving your emails).
Wednesday late morning, at 10:53am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 9 hours, until7:45pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. You might feel the need both to stay within your safety zone and connect and collaborate with others — stretch a little, as best you can.
Make space for receiving nurturing support from others — or for taking care of yourself — and also for connecting and collaborating whilst honoring your need for safety and familiarity. Be kind to yourself and others if your needs do not perfectly align.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday late morning until the evening ahead of time.
Wednesday around 3:11pm EDT, Mercury’s post-Shadow phase ends. We no longer need to look back in order to learn or share something new, buy or sell something different, or make new connections.
As you may recall, on May 14th, when Mercury stationed direct, I mentioned the Mercury Shadow phases as well: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde and after Mercury goes direct. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.)
The good news is this Shadow phase ends this afternoon when Mercury reaches 15º36′ of Taurus. This means we can finally go ahead and book those plane tickets — or buy that new car or iPhone (or anything else communication- or transportation-related). We can also more easily take in new information, so teaching, sharing, and learning will be more effective. Click here to read my blog on the subject.
Wednesday evening, at 8:29pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday night/ Saturday very early morning. Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. It does so through subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
The Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”, etc. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies.
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this placement, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio — and it is currently transiting through Aquarius, making this a great time to transform our visions for humanity and our future on this planet — and to empower ourselves and others within our communities (locally or online).
It’s also a great time to dig deeper into our various networks and connections to like-minded people; so as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations. Does participation in your current groups or networks feel empowering or disempowering? Do I feel a deep emotional alignment with like-minded people in my life? Am I allowing myself to hear the deepest calling of my Soul?
Ask yourself: Where am I looking to create more empowerment in my life? What about the lives of others? How might a self-expressed and courageously heartfelt approach serve my communities and foster better collaborations?
Use this time to create deeper, more empowering emotional connections with like-minded people, especially if you are feeling a disconnect with other networks or affiliations out there in the world. Remember: Love expands us, others, and life. Fear paralyzes!
Thursday, June 1st:
Thursday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpioall day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Are you registered for the Forecasting Forum tomorrow, June 2nd? Either because you are a Star Member or because you have chosen to register for this month only? Ask a question in advance, email meby June 2nd at 3pm EDT,… and if I don’t have it yet, send me a copy of your Birth Chart. Questions are answered in the order in which they are received.
Thursday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:31pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will be strong until Saturday morning. This combo contributes to feeling either a lack of physical energy or a need to focus on our inner commitment toward spiritual sovereignty.
This aspect feels “internal” — inner unease and awkwardness — and we need to make a choice. Given that it is an internal issue, we need to develop an inner awareness if we’re to see what needs adjusting. Too much work, too many external commitments, or too many activities could leave us feeling de-energized right now.
We create our own limits; slowing and quieting down helps us see this. If we have a better sense of time, we can do less and achieve more — and we can do this as soon as we manage our commitments and start to use our judgment for discernment rather than “compare and despair”.
Could you let go, just for now, of wanting to rank things in order? Could you let go, just for now, of wanting to be in control? Might slowing down and turning inward give you the result that you are looking for?
Might it be possible that showing gratitude towards others and opening your heart might lead to less stress or pressure?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-8 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn rules Capricorn).
Thursday evening, Jupiter aligns with the North Node in 3.5 degrees of Taurus, exact at 8:43pm EDT. We started to feel this alignment from May 20th on; it will be strong until June 13th. We are invited to make a conscious effort when it comes to the perspectives and attitudes we have or have had up until now toward our relationship with the physical plane.
We are advised to be more in touch with the wisdom of our own body, more attuned to the intelligence of nature and what feels natural, and more aware of our intrinsic value (from birth).
Ask yourself: What perspective shift might bring a healthier experience and honoring of my body? Or my physical reality?
What is my current attitude toward my value in the world? Do I reject or hoard material abundance? Do I see material abundance as a good or bad influence on people? Do I see it as a burden? Unattainable? Do I give it too much or not enough of my attention?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter rules Sagittarius).
Friday, June 2nd:
Friday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Wednesday evening for details).
Friday evening, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exactat 6:42pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect buildfrom Wednesday on, and it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This aspect makes for a very creative and beautiful time; music, art, movies, and theater are in high demand. Spiritual endeavors are easily shared with others.
We might not have the best boundaries in our relationships, socializing, or money… but we sure as hell know how to enjoy ourselves. We connect to others in a compassionate, sweet, loving way; we are more likely to feel romantic.
Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. Trusting and opening up to others becomes easier; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.
Ask yourself: Could I permit myself to receive love and emotional support from familiar sources? Is there anything from my past or relationships from the past that I am ready to release or let go of?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Friday later in the evening, at 8:51pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 4 hours, until 1:03am EDT (Saturday very early morning).
Use this intuitive time to connect with yourself and loved ones on a deep level. As best as you can, allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you. Most of all, allow yourself to be vulnerable and connect with trusted people around deep emotional issues stemming from the past. Baby steps and a gentle approach are best.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening and Friday night ahead of time.
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, at 1:03am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until next week, Monday very early morning (June 5th). We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Taurus, making this a great time to explore our physical reality and comforts. As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your physical needs — and get excited about new ways of experiencing abundance in your life.
Ask yourself: What road might lead to a closer connection to honoring and appreciating the physical world — in general, and more specifically, my own (my body, my money, my stuff)? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards my finances?
What personal beliefs about my own value am I now ready to explore or go beyond? Could I allow myself to have faith while exploring the physical world from a new perspective?
Use this time to embrace your self-worth, allow yourself to see beauty everywhere, and value yourself exactly as you are and as you are not. When you honor your own values and preferences, you are honoring life itself! What you conclude in the name of self-love, others will benefit from it in the end.
This also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact Saturday late evening). More on that tomorrow…
Saturday, June 3rd:
Saturday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittariusall day (see Friday night for details).
Saturday late evening at 11:42pm EDT, the Full Moon in 13 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel the build-up towards this Full Moon from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius on Friday night. For the next two weeks, we seek balance as we become more awareof something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).
* The Moon in Sagittarius makes several aspects in this Full Moon chart, as does Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius.
* Venus is getting ready to change signs from Cancer to Leo (on June 5th), following in Mars’ footsteps.
* Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is conjunct Uranus in Taurus.
* Saturn in Pisces will start to slow down (station, and is thus exalted) from June 6th on. More about the specifics in a moment, but one thing to remember: Full Moons are always times of awareness and culmination. We see things we have not seen before and get to make changes if we don’t like what we see. So think back to the New Moon phase that started on May 19th: What seeds were planted then? What has “sprouted” since? Before we talk about all of the aspects of this Full Moon, let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity: At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a broader perspective, which has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained. It’s all about seeking a higher truth and meaning for life’s challenges — a philosophy that would help us understand life’s trials and tribulations. So that’s Sagittarius’s highest vibration — what of its shadow side?
When we suppress this energy inside of us, we become unquestioningly attached to our belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves about life — and therefore self-righteous — perhaps we even persecute those who differ in their point of view. We are also more easily susceptible to excesses of all kinds. Now let’s look at Gemini: at its highest vibration, this sign helps us…To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s Full Moon, click here.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Sagittarius,Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeo or Cancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Sunday, June 4th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday night for details).
Sunday afternoon, a Mercury/Uranus alignment in 20.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 3:40pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday on; and it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday (June 6th). An important insight is coming through — and we want to turn this insight into something real — something tangible, practical, and beautiful.
We might find ourselves part of some really unusual conversations, our minds could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel excited by these fresh ideas and insights.
It’s a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — but coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t value our new insights. Nervousness, impulsivity, and fidgeting could be a by-product of this alignment as well.
Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. We’ll likely have flashes of insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, etc. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions and stay grounded in your body. That way, all that energy can move through you without shaking you to the core
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio,Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Sunday late evening, at 11:24pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 4 hours, until 3:31am EDT (Monday early morning). Use this intuitive time to honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to go within and get quiet. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow.
Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind to yourself.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday night until Monday very early morning ahead of time.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (June 5th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius and VoCuntil 3:31am EDT. At that time, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning (June 7th). At 9:46am EDT, Venus changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo, where it will journey until Oct. 9th — an unusually long time due to its upcoming Retrograde phase (in late July-early September). In the early afternoon, a Venus/Pluto opposition becomes exact at 12:05pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect buildfrom Saturday morning (June 3rd) on, and it will remain strong until Thursday (June 8th). More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…

On Saturday, June 3rd at 11:42pm EDT, the Full Moon in 13 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We start to feel the Full Moon build from the moment the Moon enters Sagittarius early that same morning.
For the next two weeks, we seek balance as we become more awareof something that needs to be brought into alignment or integrated. The balance in question is between our mental processes — symbolized by Gemini — and our quest for a larger truth or meaning (linked to Sagittarius).
The Moon in Sagittarius makes several aspects in this Full Moon chart, as does Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius.
Venus is getting ready to change signs from Cancer to Leo (on June 5th), following in Mars’ footsteps.
Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is conjunct Uranus in Taurus.
Saturn in Pisces will start to slow down (station, and is thus exalted) from June 6th on.
Before we talk about all of the aspects of this Full Moon, let’s first talk about the Sagittarian-Gemini polarity:
At its highest vibration, Sagittarius shows us a broader perspective, which has us looking beyond facts and learned knowledge to our direct life experiences and the wisdom gained.
Now let’s look at Gemini: at its highest vibration, this sign helps us stay connected to our immediate environment and “day-to-day mind” — processing and sharing as much information as we can, as quickly as possible — we stay curious, constantly looking for ways to learn what we need to connect all the dots and communicate intelligently.
When we suppress the higher vibration of the Gemini energy, we likewise move into its shadow side…

When we suppress the higher vibration of the Gemini energy, we likewise move into its shadow side: superficiality, talking without listening, chattering randomly, sharing information without substance or meaning, collecting lots of facts but having little knowledge, staying busy so the mind doesn’t get bored, and allowing the mind to dominate our physical, emotional & spiritual connection to life.
Ask yourself: What is the difference between information and interpretation? Or information and comprehension? What might change for me if I questioned my assumptions and what I think I know? Who do I think I am? Why are things the way they are? What new information might I spot if I stepped back and took a more expansive view?
Let’s talk about the specific aspects of this Full Moon chart:
The Moon in Sagittarius makes several aspects: Not only does it oppose the Sun in Gemini, but it also trines Mars in Leo, Chiron in Aries, and it squares Saturn in Pisces. So let’s unpack all of that:
The two Trines to Mars in Leo & Chiron in Aries indicate a nice flow and ability to be courageous and walk our path as we see the bigger picture of our journey on this planet, in our human existence.
Ask yourself: Could I accept my human complexities 5% more when expressing myself creatively or otherwise? How complex could I allow myself to be? How about everyone else out there in the world — could I permit them to be just as complex?
We might want to explore a new healing modality for the body, mind, and heart to renew our enthusiasm for life.
Ask yourself: What if expanding my horizons and exploring things holistically could bring a healing quality to wounds around the “masculine” energies (personal and collective)?
How might seeing the bigger picture and taking a holistic approach around my masculine energies give me a greater understanding of myself and what I have identified with (or as)? What would be a wise use for all the physical energy I can access?
The Moon’s Square to Saturn in Pisces asks us to stretch and grow. Our commitment to spiritual self-mastery, towards being in the present moment, calls us to make some adjustments with the outer world.
Ask yourself: What if I just knew that I am always supported by the Universe, by life, by my higher Self? What if every “now-moment” held all the information I needed to handle whatever showed up?
What might be a creative way to stay connected to others and committed to practicing trusting my intuitive knowing?
Also, Saturn in Pisces will slow down (stationing and will be exalted) from June 6th until the 24th. Saturn will start its yearly Retrograde phase on June 17th at 7 degrees of Pisces (until Nov. 4th, retrograding back to 0 degrees of Pisces).
Until June 24th, while Saturn is exalted, we will feel a greater urge to go within, do our spiritual work, and face our various modes of escapism from this world.
Now let’s talk about Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius. Jupiter is journeying through Taurus (since May 16th) and conjuncts the North Node, opposes the South Node in Scorpio, and squares Pluto in Aquariusand Mars in Leo. It also sextiles Saturn in Pisces. So let’s unpack all of that:
Let’s start with Jupiter’s alignment to the North Node in Taurus: we are invited to make an effort when it comes to the perspectives and attitudes we have or have had up until now towards our relationship with the physical plane — to be more in touch with the wisdom of our own body, more attuned to the intelligence of nature and what feels natural, and more aware of our intrinsic value (from birth).
What meaning do I ascribe to all things physical?
Jupiter is also part of a Grand Cross, which asks us to break down long-standing ways of dealing with external pressures. Instead, we are invited to act on our inner wisdom and honor what is true for us while respecting the desires and deep processes of others — and what we are experiencing collectively.
Ask yourself: Are my current values, goals, and beliefs a reflection of my highest truth? What attitudes or beliefs could I set free that no longer serve my growth and evolution? Where have I been keeping myself small — out of fear of losing power or control?
What if my self-worth was not determined by other people’s ideas of what it means to be worthy? What if my “worth” was given at birth? Could I value myself exactly as I am and as I am not?
Lastly, Jupiter in Taurus also sextiles Saturn in Pisces:This aspect is an opportunity to create a finer balance between our need for personal growth around our physical/material realities and our need for keeping things real when it comes to the energetic, spiritual, or intuitive realm.
It is also an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we are more likely to find an increased focus on spiritual, inner self-mastery, coupled with a sense of enthusiasm about our physical comforts and realities.
On Dec. 21st, 2020, Jupiter and Saturn aligned in 0 degrees of Aquarius. This is the first Sextile since this Conjunction — we are ready to open ourselves to new possibilities.
There is also an opening regarding our responsibilities — they feel easier as we see their value. If we stay open-minded and open-hearted, finances can get back on track. It’s undoubtedly easier to save and regulate spending.
Ask yourself: How might sourcing my energy from within support a stronger connection to myself and my talents? What might be possible if I got enthusiastic about my current physical reality? How might a practical and long-term sustainable approach towards my body or finances serve my enjoyment of life in the long run?
Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, currently also in Taurus, conjuncts with Uranus. With this alignment, we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t value our new insights.
Ask yourself: What unusual conversations are waiting to be had? Could I be open to receiving new insights from the Universe? From my body? From nature? Could I share my new ideas and insights with like-minded people? Who comes to mind?
Nervousness, impulsivity, and fidgeting could also be a by-product of this alignment. Ask yourself: How might a conscious, deep breath support me in creating more space and peace? How could it help with dropping into my body and grounding my ideas in the here and now?
Venus, in a late degree of Cancer, trines Neptune in Pisces. She will also move into Leoon June 5th (until Oct. 9th), starting her long journey through this fiery sign (due to her upcoming Retrograde phase from late July until early Sept.).
The Trine to Neptune has us connect to others in a compassionate, sweet, loving way; we are also more likely to feel romantic over the next two weeks. Trusting and opening up to others becomes more straightforward.
Ask yourself: Could I permit myself to receive love and emotional support from familiar sources? Is there anything from my past or relationships from the past that I am ready to release or let go of? What about my relationship to myself? What needs a more compassionate approach?
As soon as Venus enters Leo, she will make an exact opposition to Pluto in Aquarius and approach several Squares… just as Mars did when he entered Leo on May 20th. Because Venus is involved this time, we need to handle things with more grace and an open heart.
Venus also rules Taurus, and with Jupiter and the North Node in Taurus (being squared by Venus June 5-15th), we are invited to make a shift in connection with who and what we honor and where we need to learn to keep our heart wide open.
We mean well because we are feeling quite optimistic now, but we may underestimate how much time we have or how good a fit something is.
Overspending could also be connected to this aspect (as could making assumptions in our relationships); as best as you can, bring a non-judgmental awareness to any such tendencies.
After June 5th, ask yourself: What am I observing about myself and my relationships with others? What is enough… and what is too much? Could I bring a non-judgmental awareness to any assumptions I bring to my relationships?
Could I be 5% more aware of any tendency to spend more than I have?
To sum it all up: This Full Moon reminds us that truth is in the eye of the beholder and that what we see depends on where we stand and have already been.
Ask yourself: What am I currently seeking? What is no longer true for me? What convictions and misperceptions are holding me back from experiencing a life of abundance?
This Full Moon also invites us to practice our connection to empathy, intuition, and inspiration — a compassionate approach towards our human persona works best. So, over the next two weeks, ask yourself: How open can I be to being courageously myself, with all my sensitivities and insecurities?
It’s best for us to move forward slowly but surely, knowing that our sense of balance must come from within and (as best as we can) staying rooted in the inner knowing that all is well, no matter what we perceive or tell ourselves about those perceptions.
Ask yourself: What experiences outside my everyday routines might widen my perspective and understanding of life? Who supports my journey toward greater self-realization? Could I allow any such connections to grow stronger and more meaningful?

This week’s headline items: we can feel a T-Square between Jupiter in Taurus, Mars in Leo, and Pluto in Aquarius all week; the same is true for the Grand Cross that involves the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio. On Wednesday afternoon, it’s time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions — and the first Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Saturday late morning.
There will only be two Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday early morning (for almost 5.5 hours), and Friday very early morning (for 20.5 hours).
Before we get to this week’s Forecast, just a quick reminder:
We will be talking about the Grand Cross in the Fixed Signs next week, Friday (June 2nd) at 5pm EDT. If you would like to know what needs to change in your life, join us live or get the mp4-video recording of the live event. We will apply all of this to our own birth charts.
Monday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. It will journey there until Wednesday late morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say, and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key until Wednesday late morning.
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar, and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your own glass is full before letting others drink from it; if you don’t, you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Monday very early morning, an opportune Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 1:57am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Wednesday (May 17th) on; it will remain strong until this Saturday evening (May 27th). Many of us feel an inner joy now when communicating and connecting with others; it is a good time to link this to passionate self-expression and the joyful creation of our life, as we see it in alignment with our heart energies.
We have to “take” opportunities, and this one is no exception: It requires us to take action. What if there was a single, really simple action step, that would feel almost effortless? What might it be?
Our self-confidence and self-esteem can get a boost: we feel we can meet life on life’s terms and stand up for ourselves (and our point of view) without becoming hostile or confrontational. Body and mind can align, and we want to move fast! Patience is probably not on top of our list…
Ask yourself: What might sharing something that I feel passionate about allow me to do? How might adding a dash of love, gratitude, and joy create whole-hearted interactions with others?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-4 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Aries, or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars is the ruler of Aries).
Monday early afternoon is a great time to focus on spiritual/intuitive experiences or creative endeavors and to lend loving and nurturing support to others. As best as you can, focus on the here and now, and release anything that feels outdated or stuck in the past. (Moon in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces, exact at 12:24pm EDT)
Monday mid-late afternoon we have an opportunity to think about the physical comforts in our lives that give us pleasure and stability and see if they are in alignment with who we are… Are your needs being met? Do your physical comforts leave you feeling nurtured?
It is also an opportunity to connect to family (or friends that feel like family) and talk about things that could improve everyone’s well-being — this could include financial issues or concerns, or simply looking at our physical reality and what feeds us. (Moon in Cancer sextiles Mercury in Taurus, exact at 3:07pm EDT)

Tuesday, May 23rd:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Monday for details).
Tuesday very early morning, a challenging Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 1:13am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from May 14th on, and it will remain strong until May 31st. This aspect is an opportunity to grow by stretching between two poles:
On the one hand, we are eager to explore down-to-earth financial perspectives and fill our pocketbooks; on the other hand, we also want to express ourselves in a joyful way and playfully go after what we feel passionate about.
We may thus have to address the ways in which we are not honoring reality — for example, by overdoing or over-promising — we may also stretch ourselves too much, either by moving too fast or by trying to expand beyond what feels healthy and whole-hearted. As best as you can, make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies.
Whatever comes up, ask yourself: What am I ready to learn from how I see myself? Is my enthusiasm running away with me? Does “this” truly feel like I am honoring my current reality? Am I able to stay whole-hearted?
With this aspect, we seek excitement and growth right now; we may not be satisfied with how things are — we feel an inner restlessness that demands freedom and “space” but doesn’t necessarily return the favor. We may have a tendency to overdo or over-exert — and our expectations of ourselves and others might be way too high.
Ask yourself: What might open up if I expected 5% less of myself, just for today? What if I applied that to others too? Might my physical and mental energy levels help me be realistic about how much I can expect of myself right now?
With this aspect, we never feel that we have enough money, beauty, time for relaxation, time for playfulness, etc. — and it’s difficult knowing when to stop. As best as you can, pause and reflect: this will help with that feeling that you can’t get enough, no matter what you do.
If we are going to get tripped up here, it would be because we don’t know when to stop (or say no).
That said: we needn’t expect to feel tormented — in fact, this could also be a playful and humorous time, with lots of joking around (including practical jokes), smiles, and laughter. The key to this aspect is connecting the desire to have fun and be joyfully self-expressed to our desire for growth around our exploration of honoring ourselves and our physical reality.
Mars aligned with Jupiter in 3º of Aries in late May 2022. Think back to that time: What projects began in the late Spring of 2022? What seeds were planted? Where are the obstacles showing up? Where do I need to grow beyond what I knew myself to be last year?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-5 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, or 28-29 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Libra, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries, Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Tuesday late morning/early afternoon, we are invited to make adjustments and (as best as we can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for healing around anger or self-identity and for taking care of emotional or family issues. (Moon in Cancer squares Chiron in Aries, exact at 11:36am EDT)
Tuesday afternoon, we have an opportunity to connect to family (or friends that feel like family) and create breakthroughs around things that we enjoy through our five senses (e.g. food). This may also be a good time to find a unique or global approach to financial matters that bring us a sense of emotional security. (Moon in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus, exact at 2:07pm EDT)
Wednesday, May 24th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Canceruntil 10:35am EDT (see Monday for details).
Wednesday early morning, at 5:12am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last almost 5.5 hours, until10:35am EDT. Use this intuitive time to be in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored at this time.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time.
Wednesday late morning, at 10:35am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Friday late evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness …
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them and how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic as best you can. Fun, games, and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s easier for the next two-and-a-half days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak just thinking of it?
Wednesday afternoon, from 3pm EDT on, it is time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions! If you set Intentions on May 19th, 20th or 21st – after the New Moon became exact — from this afternoon on will be the best time to start taking relevant actions.
If you wrote your intentions down, look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Wednesday evening, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:39pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect buildfrom last week, Sunday (May 21st) on, and it will remain strong until this Saturday night. This aspect asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth, and finances. If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.
We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically though, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are asked to do some healing work; as best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It’s ok.
If you get triggered by someone, as best as you can, take it as an opportunity to see where this trigger originated — probably in your childhood. Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are, and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced; it wants to move through us and out.
The more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place. As best as you can, move from the head to the heart: What might change if you had 5% more compassion for yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-22 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Thursday, May 25th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leoall day (see Wednesday late morning for details).
Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning, feels a little uneasy. We need to develop inner awareness around two seemingly opposite pulls: on the one hand, a realistic assessment of our sensitivities and intuitive knowing; on the other, our need for self-expression, play, and fun.
We are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to fully express ourselves, but may also need to be realistic about any limitations in connection to our feeling-body. The question is: Could I allow myself to feel the mismatch of those two desires? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment (Moon in Leoquincunxes Saturn in Pisces, exact at 12:09am EDT)
Thursday morning, we are invited to make some adjustments in our lives. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for creative self-expression and fun, and also for talking, learning, or writing about physical pleasures and what is most important to you on the physical plane. (Moon in Leosquares Mercury in Taurus, exact at 6:11am EDT)
Thursday night/Friday very early morning at 2:38am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last 20.5 hours, until 11:05pm EDT (Friday late evening). We may feel pulled in two quite different directions during this intuitive time: On the one hand, we experience a need for connecting with our inner child energy (creative self-expressions and joy), on the other hand, we want to make space for pursuing our financial vision — and we also want to break free from outdated value systems.
As such, we may have to address what we value, both in others, and in ourselves (which informs our self-worth); do your best to use this intuitive time to make adjustments, slow things down a little, and find creative solutions that honor both drives.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday night until Friday late evening ahead of time.
Friday, May 26th:
Friday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo and VoCall day (see Wednesday late morning and Thursday night for details).
Friday very early morning, an opportune Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:37am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday night on; it will remain strong until Sunday morning. This gives us the opportunity to experiment with how we relate to others — to do something different or unusual — freedom plays a big part in this aspect.
Of course, others are experimenting too, so you might experience some unusual or unexpected interactions during this time — it’s a favorable time for social meetings and events. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: fresh air is blowing through your relationships.
We’re also ready to experiment with our financial undertakings — good places to look: all things “tech” (electronics, technology, internet); metaphysics; the arts; group activities. This is not the best time to make long-term financial investments not suggested in an intuitive flash
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-22 degrees of Cancer, Taurus, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus, and Libra, Uranus rules Aquarius).
Friday around 4pm EDT, Mars squares the Moon Nodes (3º33’ of Taurus-Scorpio) when Mars reaches 3º33’ of Leo. This aspect started to build last week, Sunday (May 21st); it will stay strong until next week, Wednesday (May 31st). Squares mark turning points; they challenge us to go beyond our survival strategies and stay joyful, self-expressed, and with our hearts wide open.
When it comes to our personal goals and passions, we are asked to take a 90-degree turn and be grateful for our lives, for all we have already done and lived.
We must make a perceptual shift in order to move forward — and this one is a turning point for us& our passions — we must balance our need for physical comforts against more authentic, emotional connections — those that support a deeper understanding of our past traumas and support us in moving beyond them into a future that provides stability and abundance.
Ask yourself: Where do I need to step more fully into my power while remaining self-expressed and open? What might become possible for me if I got really clear about how to create more joyful connections in my life? How might focusing on what I am grateful for create more ease and joy? What might keep a smile on my face, no matter what?
Since we are dealing with a lot of Fixed Signs here, it would be futile to get too attached to thoughts, visions, pride, emotional connections, comforts, habits, opinions, etc.
Jupiter is very close to the North Node in Taurus, while Pluto in Aquarius opposes Mars and squares the Moon Nodes, so we are dealing with a fixed Grand Cross. It demands we stay the course and pay attention to our attachments and aversions around things, people, places, and even ourselves.
Ask yourself: What if I were 5% less attached to having things “go my way”? How could I take things 5% less personally when dealing with others? What am I resisting? What needs my attention?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-7 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this planetary configuration quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries).
Friday late evening, at 11:31pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until next week, Monday late morning. We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Saturday late morning… more about that tomorrow).
Saturday, May 27th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Saturday late morning, at 11:22am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 6º of Virgo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Virgo (on Friday late evening). The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful, and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking, and busy Gemini.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on May 19th. “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-8 degrees of Virgo, Gemini,Pisces, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Saturday early afternoon: we are invited to focus on realistic choices regarding our feeling and energy-body; we may need to balance our need for factual or scientific information against our focus on trusting the universal flow and our own intuition.
It’s a great day for tuning in and being of service. We may also want to make a stronger commitment to our pets or focus on spiritual mastery or goals that can also support our physical well-being. (Moon in Virgo opposes Saturn in Pisces, exact at 12:53pm EDT)
Saturday late evening, we are tasked to gain clarity about what’s important to us. Ask yourself: What needs to be communicated, and/or organized differently, so my daily routines support my financial goals? What do I know now, that I can easily implement when it comes to honoring myself, that I didn’t know before? (Moon in Virgo trines Mercury in Taurus, exact at 11:07pm EDT)
Sunday, May 28th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Friday late evening for details).
Sunday morning, a challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 6:46am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday nighton; it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday (May 31st). We’re asked to stretch and grow beyond what we have previously known ourselves to be: our commitments and responsibilities towards presence and universal flow are calling us to make some adjustments with the outer world.
Find creative ways to stay connected to others, and stay focused on your inner commitment to practice spiritual self-mastery in the here and now. Allow for a curious and sensitive approach, even if life throws some curveballs.
What if you just knew that you are always supported by the universe, by life, by your higher Self? What if every now-moment held all the information you need to handle whatever shows up? Would you rather achieve a sense of connection with your intuitive knowing or stay connected to other people in your immediate environment? What if it were a question of “and” rather than “or”?
What if you just decided to act with maturity and self-responsibility while practicing being present and going with the flow? Even if you don’t know where things are headed?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn).
Sunday early afternoon, calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to heal our relationship with the inner masculine (assertiveness/anger, leadership, taking actions) — and on the other, the need to tend to our daily work or health routines. (Moon in Virgo quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 12:33pm EDT)
Sunday mid-late afternoon, we are invited to connect with like-minded people and learn something new about our unique talents or value in the world. We are able to better connect to anything that requires attention to detail. We might also perhaps implement revolutionary health routines or other systems in our day-to-day life that support our values and make life more enjoyable. (Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 3:12pm EDT)
Sunday evening, we have an opportunity to look into the details of our life that make up our daily routines and see if they are in alignment with what’s valuable to us. We can ask ourselves here: Do my daily routines leave me feeling nurtured?
It is also an opportunity to see the value of family (or friends that feel like family) and what could improve everyone’s well-being — this could include health issues or concerns, or simply looking at our nutrition and what feeds us. (Moon in Virgo sextiles Venus in Cancer exact at 8:19pm EDT)
And…
A heads up for next Monday (May 29th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 10:51am EDT. At 5:46am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for a little over 5 hours, until 10:51am EDT. At that time, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seekingLibra, where it will journey until Wednesday evening (May 31st). More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, May 15th:
Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoCuntil 3:56am EDT.
Monday early morning, at 3:56am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. Life is an adventure, we’re more open to new ideas and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
Monday late morning, a harmonious Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:44am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Tuesday morning (May 9th) on; it will remain strong until this Sunday (May 21st). I already mentioned this aspect in last week’s blog, but just as a refresher: This aspect brings the ability to endow what we feel passionate about with our creativity — and connect it to a higher love.
Our masculine energies are able to connect to compassion and understanding. We can now release past issues; through loving ourselves, we can release emotional blockages and the lower vibrations of the masculine: aggression, domineering, destructiveness, and me-first attitudes.
As this aspect is taking place in Cancer and Pisces, we are connecting to our goals and dreams from an emotional place that is deeply spiritual. We are able to let go of our fears and attachments and are able to have faith that everything will turn out just as it needs to.
Ask yourself: Is there anything I can release from my past that no longer serves me? How has anger shown up in my life? Could I allow the part of me that feels anger to be embraced and accepted?
Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, or 0 degrees of Leo, Aries, or Sagittarius will be touched in a particularly beautiful way by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces).
Monday evening, around 8:05pm EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 10° of Aries. This lasts until Friday afternoon when the New Moon in Taurus becomes exact (more on that later this week… however, feel free to watch my New Moon video here). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition.
For some of us, this might be a stretch, especially since we are still in Eclipse season. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath, and exhale any tension. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.
This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Tuesday, May 16th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Ariesall day (see Monday early morning for details).
Tuesday at 1:20pm EDT, Jupiter changes signs from independent, direct, fast-moving Aries to peaceful, steady, sensual Taurus. It journeys through this earthy sign until May 25th, 2024.
Since Jupiter represents the principle of expansion — it operates like a magnifying glass. Jupiter in Taurus brings the magnifying lens to bear on our personal resources, material comforts, and the enjoyment of the physical and material parts of life. The opportunity now is to bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of our comforts — and to get excited about beauty, nature, and financial abundance.
This one-year transit also fosters expanding our connection to the physical realm (our body, planet, money) — and then steadily bringing that energy to the world. It helps us to have faith in our ability to create abundance, as well as allow ourselves to feel abundant no matter what our bank account looks like. This last part may not necessarily always be a good thing…
Again, Jupiter will be in Taurusuntil May 25th, 2024. During this time, we attract good fortune when we are down-to-earth, patient, and sensual — cultivating self-love and self-honoring with an optimistic attitude. Bringing a new perspective toward physical pleasures (such as food, touch, smells, sounds, and taking in natural beauty) will create the feeling of abundance that we are seeking.
We value what’s good in life, and it will serve us to believe in our talents, worth, and ability to attract success.
We are each particularly invited to go for things that are worth our time, look for quality vs. quantity, and to explore investing in things that bring greater abundance and physical comforts into our lives. Possibilities are strong for tremendous creativity, practical hands-on projects, and recognition of our ability to positively influence our personal resources.
We also likely develop far more faith in our ability to receive and create. An influx of our finances, self-love, and our innate talents can all bring us great pleasure and a sense of self-worth. We feel optimistic and generous with our talents and resources — but we also have strong morals around those things.
Jupiter in Taurus helps to create more joy and pleasure in relation to the physical plane. This process operates on a receptive level, so anything we receive with a positive attitude and outlook will bring us pleasure, leaving us feeling more connected to ourselves and what’s important to us — but be cautious of immoderation at this time, especially if your natal Jupiter is in Taurus as well — watch out for over-indulgence.
In addition, since Taurus also connects to natural beauty and the Earth, we may feel more drawn both towards gardening or nature in general and to spending time near trees and flowers.
Collectively, we will probably see the full spectrum of possibilities expressed, high and low — Taurus at its best is steady, peaceful, and dependable; it cares about preserving life on Earth and enjoying all the beautiful things this planet has to offer us that engage our senses.
It has the ability to slow down enough to appreciate something as simple as a single rose petal (its texture, its smell, its color) or a hug from a loved one.
All this is especially true if you are a Sagittarius or Taurus Sun- or Rising-sign. As a Sagittarius, you will feel a greater need to connect with nature and experience peace — let’s hope that doesn’t show up as resistance towards life or others. As a Taurus, you will most likely feel a greater sense of possibility, together with a need to grow and expand your sense of self-worth and physical abundance, over the next year (i.e. until May 2024).
Where does Jupiter-in-Taurus fall in your own birth chart? What aspects does it make during this transit? How does a wise response to one house support a more fruitful response to the next? What outward opportunities arise as Jupiter interacts with any of your personal planets? Where might you experience a major expansion between now and May 2024? Where are you ready to experience more peace and create growth towards greater abundance?
Also on Tuesday, although now retrograde, Pluto resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its Station phase today. What has come up in the last four weeks around social or political issues? How about ideas about your future? Or everyone’s future? How empowered or disempowered do you feel about it all? The Retrograde phase is a good time to do some internal work in this area (the retrograde ends on Oct. 10th).
We now have 5 months to go over anything that has felt disempowering to us in connection with our social connections out there in the world. We are also now ready to contemplate solutions for whatever was “in our face” from April 18th until now — solutions that work well both with our inner sense of empowerment and our outer reality.
Wednesday, May 17th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 8:29am EDT (see Monday early morning for details).
Wednesday early morning, at 5:10am EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 3 hours, until8:29am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to any seemingly unsolvable problems. Make space both for home improvements (or family affairs), and for nurturing your personal goals — for being completely yourself.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time.
Wednesday at 8:29am EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well.
In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain. What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.
Wednesday late evening, a long-term, challenging Jupiter/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:11am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build on May 4th; it will remain strong until May 30th. Squares mark important turning points, where we need to make a shift in perspective and direction in order to progress.
In other words, we are being asked to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we have previously known for ourselves, andwhere we have been comfortable up until now. This Square between Jupiter and Pluto asks us tostretch ourselves in regard to our visions of the future and the physical realities of the present moment.
It also asks us to stretch ourselves in regards to the empowerment we visualize for our future personally and globally versus our financial reality. You could also say that it is the pull towards a more digitalized, more easily controllable future versusthe desire for a more pleasant embodied experience on this planet.
Ask yourself: What if I embraced my worth fully and completely? What if my self-worth was not determined by other people’s ideas of what it means to be worthy? What if our “worth” was given at birth? Could I value myself exactly as I am and as I am not?
Jupiter and Pluto made a conjunction in 23º-25º of Capricorn, in 2020 (it was exact on April 4th, June 30th, and Nov. 12th). This current aspect between Jupiter and Pluto is an opening Square; it invites us to look at what needs to change in regard to what was initiated in 2020 when it comes to inappropriate use of power by governments and other authority figures — and also our personal ethics and responsibility in connection with what we experienced back then.
Rules, regulations, beliefs, and attitudes that arose during 2020 will now be challenged and will require adjustment.
Ask yourself: What has changed since 2020? What have I learned about myself, my body, and my physical reality that was not clear to me then? What assumptions did I make that I now need to revise?
What have my personal lessons been around power and authority (both inner and outer)? When or where did I feel out of control? What shadow aspects and fears did I have to face over the last three years? Could I trust that this transformative process will ultimately create a better future for myself and humanity?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio, or 27-29 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Scorpio (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Pluto rules Scorpio).
Thursday, May 18th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurusall day (see Wednesday morning for details).
Thursday early morning, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5am EDT. We started to feel this aspect buildfrom Tuesday morning on, and it will remain strong until Saturday morning. This aspect is an opportunity both to dissolve what no longer serves us and to connect to our intuition. We definitely feel inspired.
Charitable acts lift our spirits — our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we are able to acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now — any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — it isn’t just handed to us, we have to make it happen.
Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my enjoyment of life? What might merging my five senses with my sixth sense bring to awareness?
If everything is interconnected on an energetic level and everything is energy — even the densest of masses — might it make sense to be really conscious and aware of how I treat everyone and everything around me (including myself)?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Also on Thursday early morning, we have an opportunity to connect with family and loved ones in a nurturing way — and indeed, to connect with all from the heart. What might become possible if you let yourself enjoy others in the mutual pursuit of any shared values? What if you were open to receiving practical support as well as giving it? (Moon in Taurus sextiles Venus in Cancer, exact at 5:18am EDT)
Thursday evening, we are being asked to connect with people with similar values who can provide practical support for our visions and share what is important to us — in particular, what we envision for the future around money and finances. (Moon conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, exact at 7:28pm EDT)
Thursday night/Friday very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:40am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from May 7thon; it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday (May 23rd) — an unusually long time, due to Mercury’s Station/ Retrograde phase.
Due to the recent Retrograde phase, this is the third time within the last 6 weeks that this aspect has become exact; the first time was on April 5th; the second time was on May 12th. Think back to those times: What came up around honoring yourself, being honest about your thought processes, and having a more mature understanding of what’s important to you?
This could also be another opportunity to take responsibility for our thinking structures and be honest with ourselves. How can we get the most from this opportunity? Through honest communication, we have a chance to clear up any misunderstandings.
As best as you can, allow yourself to tune in and transcend your conditioned, automatic responses. A good place to start is with a commitment to better understand your conditioning and thought processes.
If we take this chance to see things more clearly and connect to ourselves more lovingly, we could get a good dose of reality and an ability to focus on long-term issues.
Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren’t necessarily handed to us — we have to “take” them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 4-8 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini, and Virgo, and Saturn rules Capricorn).
Friday, May 19th:
Friday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 2:48pm EDT (see Wednesday morning for details).
Friday late morning, at 11:53am EDT, the New Moon becomes exact in 28.5 degrees of Taurus. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle; it also marks theend of Eclipse Season!Click here to watch my video on the subject.
As best as you can, get really quiet, and see if you are getting any new messages or ideas. If you are, harvest them, and fold them into any intentions you set for the new Moon cycle — I will talk about this process later in the forecast, and I’ll even give you the very best and most potent times for doing so…
This New Moon sextilesNeptune in Pisces, Mars in Cancer, conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, andtrines a retrograde Pluto in0º of Aquarius.
Mercury in Taurus & Mars in Cancer are both exalted at the time of this New Moon(for different reasons),the Moon and Venus are in a mutual reception to each other, and we have a T-Square/GrandCross with Jupiter in Taurus as the Focal Point.
So, as you can see, there is lots going on in this New Moon chart, collectively painting a complex picture with a focus on the feminine, receptive energies. Nine out of eleven planets are in feminine signs.
Before we go into all of these aspects in more detail, however, let’s first talk about the sign of Taurus. With 6 planets/points (Jupiter, North Node, Mercury, Uranus, the Sun & the Moon) in Taurus, we are feeling a strong need to focus on this earthy sign for the next 28 days:
Steady, peaceful Taurus places more focus on our interactions with the physical world — you could say that we seek a healthier relationship with “matter”, one in which we are neither too attached, nor too disconnected from things on the physical plane — for example, our bodies, resources (such as money), and the planet we co-inhabit.
We are powerfully reminded to take the time to honor the only planet we can currently live on — The Earth — and honor its resources and beauty.
In much the same spirit, we are invited also to honor ourselves, our bodies, and our talents. This is a good time for reevaluating our relationship with money and possessions, and for discovering what truly makes us happy and fulfilled, so check in with yourself: What came to mind when you read or heard this?
Let’s talk about some of the aspects in this New Moon chart: The New Moon in Taurus sextilesNeptune in Pisces:
Taurus ultimately seeks to honor spirit in form, recognizing the physical world as an expression of the divine, and the body as a sacred vehicle. Pisces understands the paradox between physical and spiritual — between matter and energy. This is therefore an opportunity to join our need for material comfort and enjoyment of life to a gentler and more intuitive approach.
Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 26-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, or 0-1 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
This month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would therefore be between 11:53am on Friday, May 19th, and11:53am on Sunday, May 21st. The only exception would be a 1-hour period on Friday afternoon, May 19th — there will be a brief Moon VoC between 1:51pm and 2:48pm. All of the above times are given in US East Coast time.
If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US-Eastern Daylight Savings Time), feel free to join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter. I will be posting reminders onMay 19th, 20th and 21st — to let you know that it’s the best time to set your intentions
Friday afternoon, at 1:51pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last one hour, until 2:48pm EDT. Use this brief intuitive time as an opportunity to take small steps towards greater enjoyment of your physical life. What feels familiar and brings you physical comfort? How might combining your emotional needs with a realistic, practical approach support you right now?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday afternoon ahead of time.
Friday at 2:48pm EDT, the Moon enters chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Sunday late evening. For the next 2 days, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible.
“Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead …
Saturday, May 20th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Friday afternoon for details).
Saturday all day: if you haven’t set your New Moon Intentions yet, there is still time! You have until 11:53am EDT tomorrow (Sunday). If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon in Taurus.

Saturday late morning, at 11:31am EDT, Mars changes signs from protective, emotional, safety-oriented Cancer to fun-loving, risk-taking Leo, where it will journey until July 10th. This is a particularly vital position for Mars.
For these next seven weeks, we will feel a strong need to create in some way. Passions tend to run high, as do desire, will, enthusiasm — and our appetite for risk.
Our ego is tied up with our actions — anything we do becomes a source of great pride — and tempts us to “prideful” positioning. If we can move forward on our personal goals, especially those in alignment with our hearts, we could become inspirational leaders.
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more fun-loving and competitive; it will likely be a more active time in your life. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized and passionate for the next 7 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project with your children (or your inner child) might be advisable.
Saturday late evening, a Mars/Pluto opposition becomes exact at 11:12pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Tuesday evening on; it will be strong until next week, Friday (May 26th). Our ambition and drive to succeed are incredibly strong now. We’ll do almost anything to achieve our future visions and have the energy to set about doing it.
That said, our basic drive and energy could run up against emotionally charged questions of authentic self-expression and power. We might not feel like dealing with some of the deeper issues that keep springing up, perhaps around our connections or collaborations within our communities, or around our personal passions and creative fulfillment.
At the extreme end, we could find ourselves driven by a compulsive need to fight for a social or political cause; do your best to find the balance between individual expression & realization, versus collective visions & goals. Embrace your joyful “inner child” energy when going after a real transformation out there in the world.
Ask yourself: What is my motivation for connecting with others out there in the world? What does true belonging look like? Does it exclude individual self-expression? Or is there space for all kinds of diverse expressions? What part do I play?
Where is the balance point between being fully myself without apologies, versus working for a greater purpose out there in the world?
How might a deep focus on self-expression and creative authenticity serve me at this time? What needs to transform so I can be fully myself — an empowered version of myself –and fully alive?
An opposition always comes back to the starting point of the conjunction between the two planets involved. In this case, Mars and Pluto aligned on March 3rd, 2022 at 28º Capricorn. Think back to that time: What projects began in the early Spring of 2022? What seeds were planted? What have you learned about your individual empowerment and inner authority? How far have you come since then?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, or 27-29 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)
Also on Saturday,Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its Station phase. Communication and transportation are now back to “normal” as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc. New ideas and information received during the Mercury Retrograde phase (April 21st – May 14th) can now be reviewed.
Sunday, May 21st:
Sunday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 11:28pm EDT(see Friday afternoon for details).
If you haven’t set your New Moon Intentions yet, there is still time! You have until 11:53am EDT today (Sunday). If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon in Taurus.
For more info on how to best set your New Moon Intentions, click here to read my article on the subject.
Sunday very early morning, at 3:09am EDT, the Sun changes signs from steady, sensual Taurus to versatile, fast-thinking Gemini, where it will journey until June 21st. With the Sun in Gemini, the urge for self-expression is strong. We may be extra interested in collecting and sharing information. This is a time when curiosity and adaptability are favored. We are more flexible, changeable, and adaptable — which makes us quite social as well.
We enjoy intellectual conversations, and we can easily become bored if we are not getting enough mental stimulation at this time. We are more objective and observant but prefer to keep things light and easy. There is usually a nervousness in the air at this time as well, as we are constantly seeking to connect and have new interactions. “Sharing” is the name of the game.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Gemini Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Gemini, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will most likely speed up, and you feel more chatty than usual.
Sunday late morning, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:58am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday (May 18th) on; it will remain strong until next week, Wednesday evening (May 24th). This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our social visions and goals. We can look at everything with curiosity right now — and through meaningful and authentic conversations with others, our curiosity can help us make more powerful choices.
If we bring conscious awareness to our interactions and create a vision of a future that supports all, we could create connections that bring a deeper sense of community and belonging
We can also deepen our understanding of our motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings intensity and depth to our conscious awareness; therefore, this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything — even people — that no longer connect with who we are.
Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release that no longer serve my evolution? Would I be willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-3 degrees of Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, or 27-29 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio).
Sunday evening, at 6:12pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last a little over 5 hours, until 11:28pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments — you may also need to do a little stretching and growing when it comes to your inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, and seek to understand before seeking to be understood.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening ahead of time.
Sunday late evening, at 11:28pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say, and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and a half days
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar, and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your own glass is full before letting others drink from it; if you don’t, you might start to feel drained and resentful.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (May 22nd): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. In the very early morning, an opportune Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 1:57am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday (May 17th) on; it will remain strong until next week, Saturday evening (May 27th). More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…

Ask yourself: How might meditation or mindfulness — simply being present in the now-moment to all the energies inside and around me — support my enjoyment of life?
What might merging my five senses with my sixth sense bring to awareness? What small step could I take toward this? What if there were a huge leap I could make? What might that be?
Something to contemplate or journal on: If everything is interconnected on an energetic level and everything is energy — even the densest of masses — might it make sense to be really conscious and aware of how I treat everyone and everything around me (including myself)?
Might it make sense that my thoughts and behaviors have a direct impact on the whole energy field that we all co-inhabit? Could it potentially have a direct impact on me if I were to disregard this interconnectivity?
The New Moon in Taurus sextilesMars in Cancer: This may be a good time to take action on some financial matters that bring us a sense of emotional security. It might also be an opportunity to engage with others in a nurturing, familiar way — and enjoy a good meal, a glass of wine, etc.
Our self-confidence and self-esteem can get a boost here: we feel we can meet life on life’s terms and stand up for ourselves (and our point of view) without becoming hostile or confrontational. The physical and emotional body align.
Ask yourself: What might trusting my body’s intrinsic knowing of something that I feel emotionally connected to allow me to do? If there was a single, really simple action step, that would feel nurturing to me, what might that be? How might combining my emotional needs with a realistic, practical approach support me at this time?
The New Moon trines retrograde Pluto in 0 degrees of Aquarius. This is an out-of-sign Trine, meaning that the planets involved are in signs, that would normally square each other, but because of the late degree of the New Moon and the early degree of the Retrograde Pluto, the planets involved are less than 2 degrees apart from forming an exact Trine with each other.
This aspect invites us to empower each other in regard to earthly issues and mutually support each other. We are also being invited to focus on what we actually have control over, and surrender any fears about the outside world and its social or political issues — all those things that we do not have control over.
Ask yourself: What fears, unhelpful behaviors, or destructive patterns have been holding me back from truly seeing my value and the physical beauty of life all around me?
Where does my self-confidence currently come from? Does it come from within or from outside sources? If my body had any say in this, what might it be saying to me? Does the current source of my confidence empower me or create more fear and anxiety within or around me?
How might I find more powerful ways to empower myself and others? What would it look like if I were more truthful and authentic in my connection with others? How about my self-connection? How could honoring myself, my talents, and my current physical reality help me manifest a better future?
The New Moon also conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. We have been feeling this alignment several times already since 2019; it underlines the message that our willingness to innovate and break free from outdated physical norms and comforts is strong. We are invited to operate without social approval.
This is our time to develop some self-love and awareness. New ways of seeing, using, and approaching our personal possessions, valuables, money, and talents are becoming inevitable.
Ask yourself: What is the next step on my journey toward becoming an ever-stronger, healthy individual, one who honors and loves themselves, and is not afraid to have different values from others? Where do I need to break free from a physical rut?
What does my body require to feel more free? Over the next 28 days, could I break away from anything that keeps me from honoring myself? Including any attachments to what feels comfortable in my life?
The Moon in Taurus & Venus in Cancer have a “mutual reception” to each other — in other words, these planets are in each other’s signs at the time of the New Moon — meaning they “mutually” support each other’s agenda.
This allows us to connect a sense of earthiness and practicality with familiarity, or nurturing connections to others. Slowing down and Self-care is key!
As best as you can, nurture yourself, and focus on things that support your physical and emotional well-being in all areas of your life. Most of all: be kind to yourself and take baby steps! In other words, move out of your comfort zone by all means, just do so slowly.
Ask yourself: If a 28-day timer started now, who could I contact in support of this agenda before the timer went off?
Mercury & Marsare both exaltedat the time of this New Moon (for different reasons):
Mercury is still stationing (exalted) until May 20th — which is the day after the New Moon becomes exact. Mercury ends its Retrograde phase on May 14th in the late evening; entering its post-Shadow phase at that time. Feel free to check the weekly/daily forecasts for more details on Mercury’s movements.
An exalted Mercury in Taurus that is moving through its Shadow phase, asks us to think carefully about all the decisions we have made during the Retrograde phase April 21st – May 14th.
Ask yourself: What needs to be addressed with regard to finances? Physical enjoyment of life? Honoring myself? Where have I become too attached to physical comforts? Where do I resist money and finances in my life?
What did I learn about my earning power and my sense of self-worth over the past 3 weeks? How might I share my findings in a healthy way?
Mars is in the last degree (29º) of Cancer at the time of the New Moon, which also makes it exalted. A planet in the last degree of a sign feels “louder”, as it is trying to express as much as it can of the current sign, before moving into the next — sort of a “last hurrah” before moving on.
This would indicate a strong urge to complete something, most likely something that started when Mars moved into Cancer on March 25th, 2023.
There is an impatience in the air around family issues, the physical (or emotional) home we have or have not yet created for ourselves, and/or creating more emotional safety in our lives in general.
Ask yourself: What projects began around March 25th in connection with any of these issues? What actions did I take? What actions still remain to be taken?
Less than 24 hours after the New Moon becomes exact, Mars will move into 0º of Leo, making an exact Opposition to Pluto in Aquarius and an exact Square to Jupiter in Taurus, as well as approaching a Square to the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio (exact on May 26th).
The opposition with Pluto will last until May 29th and asks us to find a balance between our desire for love and joyful self-expression that feels gratifying to us, versus our deeper social processes of transformation and deeper belonging out there in the world, in our various communities.
Ask yourself: What is my motivation for connecting with others out there in the world? What does true belonging look like? Does it exclude individual self-expression? Or is there space for all kinds of diverse expression? What part do I play?
Where is the balance point between being fully myself without apologies, versus working for a greater purpose out there in the world?
How might a deep focus on self-expression and creative authenticity serve me at this time? What needs to transform so I can be fully myself — an empowered version of myself –and fully alive?
This T-Square/GrandCross has Jupiter in Taurus as the Focal Point. This asks us to break down long-standing ways of dealing with external pressures.
With Jupiter as the focal planet, we are invited to act on our inner wisdom and honor what is true for us while respecting the desires and deep processes of others — and what we are experiencing collectively.
Squares mark important turning points, they energize us to make a shift in perspective and direction in order to progress. In other words, we are being asked to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we have previously known for ourselves, and where we have been comfortable up until now.
Ask yourself: Where is my vision calling me to be more emotionally authentic, deeply alive, and fully connected in my interactions with others? What fears are keeping me from realizing this vision?
Where I am being called to have a more pleasant embodied experience in this lifetime? What needs to be honored? What expectations or attitudes need to be adjusted, for me to realize this?
What if I allowed myself to see beauty everywhere? Including my own?
What if I embraced my worth fully and completely? What if self-worth was not determent by other people’s idea of what it means to be worthy, but what if it was always and already given to us all at birth? Could I value myself exactly as I am and as I am not?
I also wrote an article about Jupiter in Taurus — the first 10 paragraphs are available for everyone, and the full article with all its coaching questions is available to all my Members.
When Venus moves into Leo on June 5th, we will have a similar planetary configuration as the one described above. We will talk about the Grand Cross in the Fixed signs (involving Venus, Jupiter, Pluto, and the Moon Nodes) in our next Forecasting Forum on June 2nd at 5pm EDT.
Venus also Squares Chiron in Aries in this New Moon chart. This asks us to stretch and grow around our ability to be vulnerable.
We have a chance here to learn from one another; ironically though, social insecurities can be magnified at this time.
Whenever Chiron is involved, we are asked to do some healing work; as best as you can, use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody is perfect: we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It’s ok.
The more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place. Ask yourself: What might change if I had 5% more compassion for myself and others? What might a good dose of love and compassion bring to it all? How might I access a dash of those ingredients when I need them most?
To sum it all up for this New Moon: it is in our best and highest interest to honor the Earth, the planet we live on, and our physical experience as we move through this human life.
With so many planets in Taurus, it reminds us that happiness is ultimately an inner state — we must each honor our own values and find appreciation and inner fulfillment wherever we can.
This New Moon also helps us transcend old mindsets around money, self-esteem, and security.
The more we can honor ourselves, our talents, and our relationship to the physical realm, the more we can connect to the love and abundance that surrounds us in every moment.
Ask yourself: What would I need to add or subtract from my life to better experience it as peace, abundance, and radiant love? Might adding a daily dash of love, grace, and gratitude add to my joy on this physical journey?
Lots of shifts are happening, internally as well as externally. So a certain amount of discomfort and feeling unsettled is natural.
Ask yourself: Could I get 5% more comfortable with feeling unsettled and uncomfortable? What if those feelings were good news? What if those feelings ultimately lead to a healthy connection with myself, my body, my talents, and my worth? If that were true, could I simply hang out with the discomfort, just for right now?
[/wcm_restrict] Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 26-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, or 0-1 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month’s Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact — and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
This month, the best and most potent time to set intentions would therefore be between 11:53amonMay 19th and 11:53am onMay 21st.
I will be posting reminders on May 19th, 20th and 21st — to let you know that it’s the best time to set your intentions
On May 16th at 1:20pm EDT, Jupiter changes signs from independent, direct, fast-moving Aries to peaceful, steady, sensual Taurus. It journeys through this earthy sign until May 25th, 2024.
In our natal chart, the position of Jupiter reveals how we express generosity and tolerance and how we go about trusting others and improving our lives. On the whole, Jupiter is about expansion, possibilities, perspectives, and our mental & spiritual growth.
Ask yourself: Where do I look for wisdom and understanding? Where do I need movement and spaciousness? Where do I hold perspectives or beliefs that come from my social conditioning? Where do I feel optimistic and have faith that things will turn out ok?
Since Jupiter represents the principle of expansion — it operates like a magnifying glass. It’s been in Aries since May 2022 (except for November and December 2022). During its time in Aries, the magnifying glass sought more opportunities for our passions and for walking our path.
We may also have wanted to contribute to life from an enthusiastic, independent, and self-generative place. This might have created a shift in attitude towards our “human persona” or how we experience interacting with others — or perhaps around fearlessly fulfilling our desires.
On the other hand, Jupiter in Taurus brings the magnifying lens to bear on our personal resources, material comforts, and the enjoyment of the physical and material parts of life. The opportunity now is to bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of our comforts — and to get excited about beauty, nature, and financial abundance.
This one-year transit also fosters expanding our connection to the physical realm (our body, planet, money) — and then to steadily bring that energy to the world.
Jupiter in Taurus helps to create…

Jupiter in Taurus helps to create more joy and pleasure in relation to the physical plane. This process operates on a receptive level, so anything we receive with a positive attitude and outlook will bring us pleasure, leaving us feeling more connected to ourselves and what’s important to us — but be cautious of immoderation at this time, especially if your natal Jupiter is in Taurus as well — watch out for over-indulgence.
In addition, since Taurus also connects to natural beauty and the Earth, we may feel more drawn both towards gardening or nature in general and to spending time near trees and flowers.
Ask yourself: How does “natural beauty” occur for me? What road might lead to a closer connection to honoring and appreciating the physical world — in general and more specifically my own (my body, my money, my stuff)? What might open up if I was 5% less attached to any material goals? What if I let go of any aversions toward material gains? What might be possible if I gave them my love and appreciation? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards my finances? What do I have — and what don’t I have?
Here are some more questions you can work with over the next year: What might promote dependability and prosperity? What might do the same for growth around my values and my finances?
What personal beliefs about my own value am I now ready to explore or go beyond? Could I allow myself to have faith while exploring the physical world from a new perspective? Could I simply allow myself to have a sense of humor about the things that matter to me?
What might promote a new personal perspective around my own resources and talents? What am I aware of right now that would shift my perspective if I allowed myself to rest as “the love that I am”? How about resting as “the abundance that I am”?
How might I become more receptive and appreciative of my physical connection to life? What prosperous opportunities am I now ready to explore, that support a stable and peaceful approach to life?
Collectively, we will probably see the full spectrum of possibilities expressed, high and low — Taurus at its best is steady, peaceful, and dependable; it cares about preserving life on Earth and enjoying all the beautiful things this planet has to offer us that engage our senses.
It has the ability to slow down enough to appreciate something as simple as a single rose petal (its texture, its smell, its color) or a hug from a loved one.
In its denser, lower vibrations, we could find stubbornness or immoveable attitudes. We may also experience an inability to adapt to new perspectives, be overly possessive, resist change, laziness, over-indulgence with food or other pleasures, or experience a feeling of being rushed because we are set on doing things in the way that keeps us in our comfort zone — which creates resistance towards others, or to life itself).
Beliefs connected to a dogged and inflexible approach to physical reality may not serve us at this time. Thinking we can keep things “the way they were” may not be so ideal either. The lower our self-esteem the more likely Jupiter will expand the lower or denser energies of Taurus.
No matter what we experience on a collective level, if we can embrace our self-worth, allow ourselves to see beauty everywhere, and value ourselves exactly as we are, and as we are not, we will reap the rewards of Jupiter.
The motto for Jupiter in Taurus might be something like this: When you honor your own values and preferences, you are honoring life itself! What you conclude in the name of self-love, others will benefit from it in the end.
Jupiter moves through a 12-year cycle, so the last time it traveled through Taurus was between early June 2011 and mid-June 2012.
And the previous cycles, from most to least recent, were:
Late June 1999 — late October 1999; and mid-February 2000 — June 2000 Early March 1988 — late July 1988; and early December 1988 — mid-March 1989 Late March 1976 — late August 1976; and mid-October 1976 — early April 1977 Mid-April 1964 — late April 1965
Think back to any of the above periods that you lived through: what possibilities or opportunities arose for you on a material or financial level? In what ways did you grow? In what ways did you expand your relationship with your own talents and sense of self-worth? What did you experience in connection with nature and your physical reality? Your ability to be loving with yourself and honor your values and preferences?
What felt like a personal success, or a new exploration in 2011/12? How about in 1999/2000? The other periods listed above? Where did you experience expansion in those years? How could you take that to the next level?
If you were born during any of those periods, you will have a Jupiter Return in 2023 or 2024 — these happen every 12 years and signify a new beginning on our journey towards greater evolution. If this is true for you, as best as you can, plant some new seeds for the next 12 years of your evolutionary journey and set some intentions in connection with the House placement of your natal Jupiter.
Jupiter in Taurus will square Pluto in Aquarius and Mars in Leo very shortly after it enters this earthy sign (exact on May 20th, 2023). Those three planets will be within 5 degrees of each other until May 29th, 2023. This T-Square asks us to break down long-standing ways of dealing with external pressures. With Jupiter as the focal planet, we are invited to act on our inner wisdom and honor what is true for us while respecting the desires and deep processes of others — and what we are experiencing collectively.
Jupiter will remain within 5 degrees of Pluto until June 11th, 2023. Squares mark important turning points, where we need to make a shift in perspective and direction in order to progress. In other words, we are being asked to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we have previously known for ourselves, and where we have been comfortable up until now.
This Square between Jupiter and Pluto asks us to stretch ourselves in regard to our visions of the future and the physical realities of the present moment. In other words, the empowerment we visualize for our future globally versus our personal financial reality. You could also say that it is the pull towards a more digitalized, more easily controllable future versus the desire for a more pleasant embodied experience on this planet.
Jupiter will also connect with the North Node in Taurus (exact on June 1st, 2023). They will be within 5 degrees of each other from May 11thuntil June 20th, 2023. With this combo, we are invited to make an effort when it comes to our relationship with the physical plane — to be more in touch with the wisdom of our own body, more attuned to the intelligence of nature and what feels natural, and more aware of our intrinsic value (from birth).
Jupiter will align with Uranus(exact on April 20th, 2024 in almost 22º of Taurus). They will be within 5 degrees of each other from March 22nduntil May 19th, 2024. With this combo, we will see more disruption and uncertainty in connection with our financial and physical reality. We may need to look at the bigger picture and adjust our expectations just a little. However, this might also be an opportunity to create something new and unusual in the financial world, something we may have not thought of before…
This is the beginning of a 13-14 year expansive collective shift in our financial world. The last time Jupiter and Uranus connected in this way was in January 2011 in the sign of Pisces. The last time those two celestial bodies were conjunct in Taurus, was in early April – early June 1941 (exact on May 16th, 1941).
Ask yourself: What needs to change in my own life when it comes to my physical reality of things? Where am I invited to make a perspective shift in connection to what’s important or valuable to me? How important is my financial freedom to me? Do I value freedom of choice? What is my body teaching me about freedom? What insights am I receiving when tapping into the breath that moves through my body? What insights am I receiving when I connect to nature and all its beauty?
[/wcm_restrict] All this is especially true if you are a Sagittarius or Taurus Sun- or Rising-sign.
