Conviction & Passion
This week’s headline items: Mercury slows down (stations) again on Tuesday as it prepares to end its Retrograde phase Sunday. Venus changes signs from Virgo to Libra early Thursday morning. It’s time to take actions on our New Moon intentions from Friday on. Pluto’s Station intensifies on Saturday; Mercury comes to a halt and begins its post-Shadow phase early Sunday morning; Sunday evening, the first Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact.
There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday early afternoon (for 7 hours), Thursday early evening (for a little over 6.5 hours), and Saturday early evening (for almost 10 hours).
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have a quick announcement…

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, September 26th:
Monday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey there until Tuesday evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite now, as we seek the approval of others.
We want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating.
Today and tomorrow (until 7:15pm) are an excellent time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more quickly than we might like. We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉
One last quick note: this is also an excellent time for anything related to visual arts.
Monday very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:46am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect brings a fruitful and rewarding period in our lives. We experience new depths of intimacy (with an existing or new partner), we learn to appreciate the important people in our lives, and our value system transforms and evolves.
This is likely an excellent period for finances as well. Work we’ve done might pay off, and we are able to manage our finances better, with more attention to detail, planning, and strategy — as well as the elimination of anything that no longer serves us. We might renew a commitment, or bring new, deeper and more intimate energy into a relationship under the influence of this aspect.
Our sexual lives might get a real boost now, as we tend to want to connect on a deeper level. We might find ourselves strongly attracted to someone, almost to the point of obsession. If this aspect connects with any of your personal planets, you might just meet the “love of your life”.
One thing is for sure — relationships experienced now are bound to be unforgettable. While this transit tends to signal new or strengthened relationships, any relationship that ends during this cycle may leave us feeling liberated.
We will investigate the upcoming Pluto’s Station Direct phase in Capricorn (Oct. 8th) & Eclipse season (starting on Oct. 15th) — in relation to our own birth charts — in my next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 8th. Where are you being asked to transform? To trust the universal process? ==> Register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered and will receive the link to join live on Oct. 7th and the recording of the live event on Oct. 8th).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Monday early afternoon, a Mercury/Venus alignment in 27º of Virgo, becomes exact at 1:59pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday evening on, and it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening. This is an excellent time to start sharing about art projects (or anything arts-related —visual arts perhaps) and any teaching endeavors. This alignment indicates an ability to communicate from the heart — and in fact, connecting to people we have an affinity with is essential.
We want to feel able to connect in a harmonious, peaceful manner and communicate on an equal footing. We tend to have a strong sense of fairness at this time and want to be in touch with people who meet us half-way. In general, we are very agreeable and enjoy socializing. We also thoroughly enjoy the written and spoken word — literature, wordplay, puns, moving conversations — especially if connected to our health and wellbeing.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 24-29 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Taurus, or Libra (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Monday afternoon, a Sun/Jupiter opposition becomes exact at 3:33pm EDT. We have been feeling this aspect build since last week, Friday evening (Sept. 23rd), and it will remain strong until this Thursday evening. This aspect can bring an opportunity to open up our consciousness through other people. As best as you can, expand your perspectives about life, relationships — and enjoy the optimism.
Ask yourself: Who (or what) could motivate me to be more assertive in my relationships (business or personal)? Could I simply try out something new? What or who inspires me to try that?
The urge to grow and expand is strong, but we might overreach — and hasty actions could backfire. As best as you can, don’t expect too much from others or yourself; avoid over-promising, and slow down whenever you can. Also, use humor 🙂
Projects or ambitions may come to a culmination point, or undergo surprising changes; ask yourself: What insights am I receiving? Where can I go from here? What if I slowed down, just for a moment? What’s the bigger picture that I can perceive then?
Think back to March 5th, 2022, when the Sun last aligned (conjunct) with Jupiter in Pisces, and ask yourself: What was started then? What seeds did I plant around intuitive knowing, going with the flow, and trusting life? What might I see if I expanded my perspective around my interconnectedness with the Universe? Have those seeds sprouted since then? What’s my attitude now? What still needs to change?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 1-7 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you may feel more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Tuesday morning, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 8:56am EDT. This aspect will be exact twice within the next 9 days. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday evening (Sept. 23rd) on; and due to Mercury’s & Pluto’s Station phases (& changing directions), it will remain strong longer than usual, until next week, Sunday (Oct. 9th).
Our words and our “speaking” are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we think & say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion help us to connect and empower others.
Ask yourself: How could my discernment and practical decision-making abilities help me manifest my long-term goals? Could it perhaps be useful to release fears of scarcity and resulting distrust? Could I put my trust where it is worth putting?
What if a realistic and neutral recognition of “what is” was the first step towards manifesting my goals? What if the same was true of taking care of my daily routines? Or of my health routines?
We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations around long-term goals. We investigate our own thought structures in a very realistic, focused way, and look to see what needs to be communicated next.
This aspect also has a “now or never” theme, so ask yourself: What choices do I need to make to smooth the path right now? What is calling out to be simplified in my daily routines? How might that serve me long-term? What if I made a daily practice of tapping into the power of love from within?
Since Mercury remains Retrograde until Sunday, see if you can journal on these questions first, before implementing anything concrete.
8th).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio).
Tuesday early afternoon, at 12:21pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that lasts almost 7 hours, until 7:15pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, collaborate with others and play nice; on the other hand, be authentic and truthful about what you want to build long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday early afternoon until the evening ahead of time.
Tuesday evening, at 7:15pm EDT, the Moon enters passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Thursday late evening/Friday very early morning. Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”, etc. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies 🙂
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Also Tuesday, Mercury starts to slow down (station) again in 24°-25° of Virgo, in preparation to come to a halt on Sunday — ending its 3-week Retrograde phase. This station will last until Oct.7th, and during this time, we will feel Mercury’s energies more strongly.
Pay attention to anything “in your face” in any of the following areas: communications, well-being, health- and work-routines, reorganizing our thoughts and routines, decluttering our lives, simplifying, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to make adjustments once Mercury is moving direct again (to be more precise, during the Shadow phase that follows — for more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
For the next 10 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel “off” or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere — and that goes for the journey itself, too — especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.
Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are connected to real-estate, transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, boats, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Oct. 16th, when the Shadow phase is over.
Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 22-27 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, or Sagittarius.
Wednesday, Sept. 28th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Tuesday evening for details).
Wednesday very early morning, a harmonious Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 1:49am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Wednesday evening (Sept. 21st) on, and it will remain strong until next week, Thursday evening (Oct. 6th). This aspect can bring more self-discipline, maturity, focus, purpose and self-motivation.
We tend to be more practical than usual; our progress in most projects may be slow, but it will always be steady — as you can imagine, this can be a very productive period, as we are able to take responsibility for our long-term goals and the foundations we are currently building.
We can bring honesty and realism to the world, seeing what works and what doesn’t work for us, and we approach things with integrity. This is an especially favorable aspect for those employed in any of the following industries: marketing, sales, teaching, writing, or anything in which speaking, and sharing plays a necessary role — and also for independent contractors and the self-employed in general.
Ask yourself: What actions can I take that bring me closer to a future I want to create for myself and others? Do I need to look within before taking an action that impacts those around me? Where do I need to engage in a conversation that will make a more significant impact in my communities?
What do I need to learn or share that might contribute to a sustainable future in my various networks or like-minded communities?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Gemini, Aquarius, or Libra? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Wednesday evening, we are invited to make some inner adjustments: we feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice — a choice that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: On the one hand, we have the urge to go deeper and connect with others; on the other hand, we are more aware of triggers and limitations connected to old childhood wounds.
As best as you can, be compassionate and understanding with yourself when feelings of anger come up (and even if shame follows expressions of that anger). Ask yourself: How might 5% more compassion support my relationship with myself and others today? (Moon in Scorpio quincunxes Chiron in Aries, exact at 9:01pm EDT).
Thursday, Sept. 29th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (See Tuesday evening for details).
Thursday early morning, at 3:49am EDT, Venus changes signs from detail-oriented, practical Virgo, and moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra. She will journey through that sign until Oct. 23rd. With this placement, we prefer to show kindness, even-handedness, and a willingness to make our relationships work.
We value our relationships at this time, and we prefer entering into equal partnerships. Until Oct. 23rd, we can develop an idealized view of what a relationship “should” look like.
We do our best to treat others fairly for the next three and a half weeks, seeking the middle ground. We are more likely to appreciate the arts, dance, beauty, collaborative projects and the celebration of love (weddings, relationship anniversaries, declarations of love aka marriage proposals, etc.).
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you will feel more connected to your inner harmony for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to others in an equal setting. If you are a Libra Sun- or Rising-sign you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Thursday early evening, at 5:20pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that will last for a little over 6.5 hours, until 12:03am EDT (Friday very early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world — you have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task now — something that might serve you long-term.
And, as always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday early evening until Friday very early morning ahead of time.
Thursday night/Friday very early morning, at 12:03am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Sunday very early morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Aries, making this a great time to explore our individual passions and goals. As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your own desires — and get excited about new paths and new projects.
Ask yourself: What might open up if I became more connected to “I am that I am”? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards myself and my personal passions and goals?
What might promote my independence and me walking my own path? What might do the same for growth around my sexuality and my human identity? What personal beliefs about my identity am I now ready to explore or go beyond?
Use this time to create more joy and pleasure in the pursuit of our own personal goals, especially if you are getting burned out from doing too much for too long.
Friday, Sept. 30th:
Friday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Thursday night for details).
Friday very early morning, if we are awake, brings an opportunity to explore one-on-one relationships, perhaps have an adventure with someone from another country or from a different cultural background, or do something exciting. (Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Venus in Libra, exact at 2:04am EDT).
Friday early morning, we have lots of energy and a positive attitude towards life. If you are awake, be open to exploring something you feel passionate or enthusiastic about — what projects come to mind? What would be a fantastic use for all the physical energy that you have currently access to? (Moon in Sagittarius trines Jupiter in Aries, exact at 5:38am EDT).
Friday early afternoon, we have the opportunity to connect with others in a generous way, explore our one-on-one relationships or simply do something that gets us excited about possible collaborations. (Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Sun in Libra, exact at 1:05pm EDT).
Friday all day, and especially from 1:05pm EDT on, it’s time to take actions on our New Moon intentions: if you set Intentions last week, Sunday evening or this week Monday, or Tuesday — after the New Moon became exact — today (Friday) will be the best time to take relevant actions.
If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Feel free to watch my “New Moon in Libra” video one more time, or for the first time if you haven’t seen it yet… to see what actions might align with the current New Moon energies.
Saturday, October 1st:
Saturday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Thursday night for details).
Saturday early afternoon, a Venus/Jupiter opposition becomes exact at 2:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday on, and it will remain strong until next week, Monday evening. This is asking us to find an inner and outer balance between two apparently conflicting pulls:
On the one hand, we want to explore our relationship with “love” (including self-love), and have more appreciation for our one-on-one connections and collaborations — and on the other hand, we feel a need for expansion and new perspectives concerning our own personal goals and passions, as we seek a greater sense of self-growth.
We might have a tendency to overestimate our personal capabilities right now: We want to do (and be) more than is actually possible right now. In the same spirit, we might also have a tendency to live beyond our means.
As you can see, we need to watch out for feeling overly-optimistic or -enthusiastic in our relationships (the one with ourselves included) and our personal goals. Moderation is the keyword, with regard to both finances and our affections: Check your bank account… and keep it real.
Find the balance point between what you value in your one-on-one relationships, versus your personal journey of self-growth: What collaborations might support your Self-growth journey and your passionate heart?
Think back to April 30th of this year, when Venus was conjunct Jupiter in Pisces: What seeds were planted back then? What has developed in your spiritual connections with others since May? What are you realizing now about those connections?
What requires balance and integration when it comes to personal realizations achieved since late April? What is asking for a fair assessment? What is asking for faith and courage when it comes to your personal projects and passions?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Saturday early evening, at 5:46pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that will last for almost 10 hours, until 3:38am EDT (Sunday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to problem-solve and manage your daily health- and work routines.
As best as you can, discern what is needed in the moment, and be mindful where you expend your energy.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday early evening to Sunday very early morning ahead of time.
Also on Saturday, Pluto’s Station intensifies at 26° Capricorn until Oct. 13th. It will come to a halt on Oct. 8th (more on that next week). When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us — and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet’s energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 21st).
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is “in your face” for the next 3 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your Soul’s purpose (your deep, authentic, emotional Self).
Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? How might self-care contribute to an authentic emotional connection to my long-term goals and aspirations? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears, we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.
We also go into more detail about the Pluto Station-direct phase in connection to our own birth charts in our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 8th. We will investigate not only the upcoming Pluto’s Station Direct phase in Capricorn (Oct. 8th) but also the upcoming Eclipse season (starting on Oct. 15th) & more.
Ask yourself: Where am I being asked to transform? To trust the universal process? ==> To find out more about these planetary shifts, register here now (unless you are already a Star Member — in that case, you are automatically registered and will receive the link to join live on Oct. 7th and the recording of the live event on Oct. 8th).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-28 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).
Sunday, Oct. 2nd:
Sunday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius and VoC until 3:38am EDT (see Thursday night and Saturday early evening for details).
Sunday very early morning, at 3:38am EDT, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday morning (Oct. 4th). We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying, “I am doing the best I can, and that’s all I can ever do” 😉
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is transiting through Aquarius, making this a great time to look at our visions for humanity and at things we would like to accomplish long-term within our communities (in-person or online).
It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago?
Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now and where you see yourself five years from now? What do you genuinely want to commit yourself to?
This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon phase (exact later this evening…)
Sunday early morning, at 5:07am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in 24º of Virgo and slowly starts its direct motion, ending its 3-week Retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now — you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its Shadow phase…more on that in a moment.
We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective. What did you learn about your inner dialog over the past 3 weeks? What did you learn about your health and work routines? Or about your one-on-one relationships? Or a balanced approach to life? How can you share your newly found inner understanding in a healthy way with the world?
What needs to be addressed regarding fair exchanges, win-win situations, or making discerning decisions? What about any new-found understanding of your own thinking structures?
When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Oct. 7th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 22-26 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius, or Gemini.
Also on Sunday, Mercury’s post-Shadow phase begins — lasting until Oct. 16th…. as you may recall, I mentioned Mercury Shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it’s best to avoid the periods shortly before Mercury goes retrograde, and after it goes direct.
This is especially true if the items are connected to technology, transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.), or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) Click here to read my blog on the subject.
Sunday evening, at 8:14pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in almost 10° Capricorn becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Capricorn, early this morning. The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in balance-seeking, relationship-oriented Libra.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week, on Sept. 25th, the New Moon in Libra became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-12 degrees of Capricorn, Libra, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Oct. 3rd): The Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day; in the early morning, the Moon squares Chiron in Aries, exact at 3:57am EDT; in late morning, it trines Uranus in Taurus, exact at 10:37am EDT; in the afternoon, it quincunxes Mars in Gemini, exact at 3:12pm EDT; in the evening, it sextiles Neptune in Pisces, exact at 7:31pm EDT and it trines Mercury in Virgo, exact at 8:59pm EDT; in the late evening, we enter a Moon VoC that will last 6.5 hours, until Tuesday morning. More about all the details in next week’s forecast…
One More Announcement:

Here are two testimonials from our participants after joining one of our recent Forums:
“Sonja, thanks for a wonderful Forecasting Forum yesterday. Full of great and useful info and easy tools to help us prepare. I had never heard about how to use the complete Mercury Retrograde cycle, from shadow to retro and back again so powerfully. I’m definitely looking at this retrograde and future ones differently. Thanks!” — Jaz M.
“Thank you everyone for sharing your time and your energy with me today. And, Sonja, wonderful leadership as always” — Cathy E.
