Forecast for Mon May 29 to Sun Jun 4 2017 – Last week was an exercise in releasing, allowing, slowing down, and honoring my emotional, physical and mental body. I definitely felt triggered several times last week… oh my humanity! How humbling it is when it comes through so loudly…
It reminded me that intense stress really does bring up a lot of my old traumas and history… and I also noticed that I did not judge or punish myself for experiencing those “old patterns”. Now, that is definitely progress!!! 🙂
Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

This week’s headline items: on Monday, take actions on your New Moon Intentions, on Thursday, the first Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact. That same day, Jupiter starts to slow down, preparing to go direct again, whereas when Neptune starts to slow down as well (on Sunday), it is preparing to go retrograde. Last but not least: Mars changes signs, from Gemini to Cancer, on Sunday (early in the afternoon).
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday very early morning (for a little over 5 hours), Wednesday morning (for 5 hours), and Friday afternoon (for a little over 2 hours).
Monday (May 29th) is a big day:the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 8:12am EDT.With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Monday very early morning, a Mars/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 2:55am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until this Thursday. We may face obstacles, mental blockages, or an opposition to our sense of freedom, our drive, and our ambitions. We also might become more cautious now.
We are learning to live in moderation now — but this may be frustrating, as we face tests or trials that remind us that pushing too hard or too fast doesn’t always get us the results we want. It’s time to slow down a little, catch our breath, even experience some setbacks, all so we come back stronger, more controlled, directed, and mature. Taking responsibility is key!
Mars is the inner teenager and Saturn is the inner adult. Mars wants to move fast and get results, Saturn wants us to slow down and focus on the essential — and sustainable over a long time. What would it take to find your inner balance with those two archetypes?
If you are experiencing these energies within a relationship, we can ask ourselves which of them we are living out: “Am I being impatient? Or am I scared that I have missed something essential — that something is not going to work out long-term?” Whichever it is, allow yourself to open your heart to the other side, as best as you can 😉
Mars last aligned with Saturn in Sagittarius back on August 24th, 2016. Think back to that time: What got started? What seeds were planted back then? How far have you come since then?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees ofGemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (since Mars is the ruler of Aries, while Saturn rules Capricorn)
Monday at 2:59am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 5 hours, until 8:12am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for going after personal projects that you feel passionate about and for taking care of emotional or family issues.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time 😉
Monday at 8:12am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂
So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?
Monday all day (especially after 8:12am EDT), if you set Intentions last week Thursday evening, Friday or Saturday morning — after the New Moon became exact — today will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Tuesday (May 30th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Monday morning for details).
Tuesday late evening, an opportune Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 10:39pm EDT. We started to feel this from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Friday. We have the opportunity to create some forward movement in our lives, especially when it comes to our thinking, and processing or sharing information. We may want to work on projects with like-minded people right now. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store — certainly unexpected ones 😉
What is one of your unique goals? How could you go after what you want, while still keeping other people’s benefit in mind? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to “realize” it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees ofGemini, Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Wednesday (May 31st): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 12:16pm EDT (see Monday morning for details).
Wednesday at 7:14am EDT, we enter a 5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) (it lasts until 12:16pm EDT); use this intuitive time to have fun connecting with others — do (or learn) things that bring you joy. This could be a great time to express ourselves fully through the written word.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time 😉
Wednesday morning, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 10:39pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday. Our words and our “speaking” are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others.
We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations around long-term goals. We investigate our own thought structures in a very realistic, focused way, and look to see what needs to be communicated next.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio)
Wednesday at 12:16pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Friday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Thursday morning).
Thursday (June 1st): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Thursday morning, at 8:42am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 11 degrees of Virgobecomes exact. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking and busy Gemini.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on May 25th. “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 20-24 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Thursday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 11:23am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This signals a time when we don’t take connections with others lightly; we are more attracted to long-term commitment than to “casual”.
We feel a strong sense of responsibility to loved ones and see ourselves generally as responsible and trustworthy. We have increased sensitivity to the needs of others. Mutual respect and loyalty become especially important to us at this time; this can strengthen and refresh old friendships too.
We bring more maturity, respect and integrity to our interactions — and this is a good time to approach “elders” and authority figures for their input. This doesn’t have to be “solemn” though: What if you could connect spontaneously & passionately to yourself and others through your “inner adult”?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-29 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius or Leo? If so, you will be blessed by this aspect more than others. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra orCapricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Also on Thursday, Jupiter starts to slow down (station), preparing to come to a halt on June 9th (after having been retrograde for the past 4 months);its station-phase last until June 17th. We will feel its energy more forcefully during this time.
We start to be more fully aware of Jupiter’s energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.
Until June 17th, we have to face what this planet is trying to communicate to us: Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight through knowledge. Some of this planet’s keywords include: morality; gratitude; hope; honor; the law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.
The lower expressions of Jupiter include “Oh, the heck with it”, “I deserve this and more”, “the rules do not apply to me” — generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence.
For the past four months, we’ve been more connected to an inner wisdom — and ability to grow — that helps us have more balance in our lives. What did you discover about your ability to learn and grow, when it comes to balance, peace, justice and relationships since early February? Do you have a better understanding of your own inner wisdom and how to access it? How might those discoveries change what you think is possible?
Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in 11-15 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn will be more affected by this station; as will those of us who have their Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter’s movements and aspects).
Friday (June 2nd): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 8:04pm EDT (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Friday morning, a challenging Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 6:14am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from last Sunday on (May 28th); it will be strong until next week Tuesday (June 6th).
This aspect challenges us to see our own attachments and aversions as a normal, perhaps even valid, part of being human. That way, should we choose to express desire or anger (or even contempt or disgust), such expressions will feel natural and organic, rather than something that provokes shame.
We may experience situations that call forth our initiative and independence — but may not feel confident that we can rise to the challenge, let alone follow through. As best as you can, when the challenge comes: Get into action, feel the excitement that comes with stepping out of the familiar. Ask yourself: What would my hero do?
Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or 0-2 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn or Libra will feel most affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars rules Aries).
Friday at 5:48pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 2 hours, until 8:04pm EDT. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.
We likely will feel drawn to sharing ourselves, learning new things and connecting with others; on the other hand, we want to organize daily routines or pay more attention to our health. Do your best to find balance between these two ways and, as always with a Moon VoC, don’t start anything brand-new. Instead, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow; you may also want to plan Friday evening ahead of time 😉
Friday at 8:04pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Saturday (June 3rd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday evening for details).
Saturday early morning, a Venus/Uranus alignment in 27 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 3:32am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Tuesday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (June 6th). This alignment gives us the opportunity to experiment with a new way of relating to others. Freedom plays a big part in our interactions with others.
It’s a favorable time for social meetings and events. Do something different, something unusual, with one-on-one relationships — break the routine — and as you can imagine, you might experience some unexpected interactions during this time. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: Fresh air is blowing through your relationships.
We are also ready to experiment with regards to financial undertakings; good energetic matches include anything involving electronics, technology, the internet, metaphysics, the arts, and group activities in general. That said, this is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, unless you had an intuitive vision about something 😉
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, or 0 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo orAquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Saturday early afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:12pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (June 6th). It’s an opportunity to see things from a different perspective. What will lead us to this new vantage point?
Optimism, an open mind, an open heart: Follow your enthusiasm as if it were a wilderness guide — and let yourself be creative and free, especially with or around other people.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Gemini, Libra or Aquarius? If so, you will be more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Sunday (June 4th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day(see Friday evening for details).
Sunday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:24am EDT. We will started to feel this aspect from Saturday on and it will be strong until Monday. This aspect operates internally: We feel uneasy about something, kind of awkward — and we need to make a choice. This may sap our mental and physical energy, or lead us to reconsider some of our perspectives.
Ambitious goals often require more effort than we realized going in; this can impact our health if we don’t pace ourselves. If we break projects down into small chunks — actual action steps like “call the realtor” — and tackle those simple achievable actions one at a time, we can move forward without overwhelm and with our health intact. One way to do this is to look at a project and ask “How?” a few times in a row, until you get to something you can actually do.
For example, let’s say you want to go on vacation. If you ask “How?”, you might answer “I’ll fly to Paris”. Ask “How?” again, and you get “I’ll book a ticket”. The next “How?” gets you to “I’ll look at my favorite travel app on my phone”. This is a simple, easily achieved action step – you’re done. Breaking complex projects down like this reduces mental and physical stress.
In general: Use your time wisely and develop your inner “observer” so you can see what needs adjusting 🙂
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-26 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Sunday early afternoon, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:13pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect from last Thursday on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.
As you can probably guess, we’ll experience more “flow” in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more “practical” things.
We might feel confused; but we are being asked to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).
Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to shift from our conditioning to feeling into the truth of who we are?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Gemini , Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo orPisces (the Sun rules Leo, Neptune rules Pisces).
Sunday at 12:16pm EDT, Mars changes signs from curious, versatile, information-craving Gemini to protective, emotional, safety-oriented Cancer. It will journey through Cancer until July 20th; for these next six and a half weeks, we need to feel secure before we act. We’re unusually protective of ourselves and our loved ones and so prefer to handle situations peacefully and humanely.
We could thus appear to be going rather slow at times — but with reassurance and confidence, we are more likely to be protective, helpful, and dependable.
Having projects that channel our energy into our home, family, or real-estate will bring the best results. What is a simple action you could you take in one of those areas?
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more emotional during this time. You may experience more conflict at home or the need to assert yourself with your loved ones. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.
Also on Sunday, Neptune starts to slow down (station) — and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until July 3rd. It is getting ready to come to a halt and start it’s 5-month retrograde phase on June 16th.
A planet’s energies are more exalted during it’s “station period”; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.
Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith — plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film — while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.
This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn’t involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a PiscesSun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) — and those of us with personal planets and points in 12-16 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.
A head’s up for next Monday (June 5th): At 4:57pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 2 hours. At 6:46amEDT, the Moon enters Scorpio. An opportune Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:41pm EDT; and the Jupiter station intensifies.More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉

“You answered my question last week and advised me that the best thing I could do now was to realize I was at a major turning point because of the Pluto aspects in my chart and to understand that change was happening and to just express myself. I did just that and opened myself up to a very large group and it was so healing. Thank you for the enlightened answer and advise!”— Debbie H.
