Now, this week’s Forecast…

Monday, March 20th:

Monday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

Monday early afternoon, we get an opportunity to be very present, to connect with others and share a new vision about the Earth, or to reinvent how we connect with “the good things in life”.

As best as you can, bring a sense of flow and faith to who you are being; allow yourself to intuitively share some progressive, new ideas about what is important to you and things that could make your own and other people’s lives easier on a very practical level. (Moon in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus, exact at 1:34pm EDT).

Monday late afternoon, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 4:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build last Saturday (March 18th); it will remain strong until this Wednesday. This is an opportunity to bring a sense of compassion and creativity to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding in our lives.

It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real/authentic and soften our approach a little. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 27-29 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, ScorpioTaurus, or 0-1 degrees of Aries, Aquarius, Sagittarius, or Gemini? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Monday early evening, at 5:24pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from dreamy Pisces to fast-paced, enthusiastic Aries, where it will journey until April 20th. The entrance of the Sun into 0º of Aries is also known as the Spring (or Vernal) Equinox.

This signifies the beginning of Spring in the Northern hemisphere of this planet — the energetic turning point from one season to the next. Equinoxes are super-potent times for setting intentions. They are energetic gateways where we experience the inter-relationship between light and dark, inner and outer, spirit and matter.

With the Sun entering Aries for the next four weeks, we tend to act first and think later. We are more aware of our personal goals, and we feel a strong urge to move forward, get things done, and move closer to our goals. We are quite aware of our own gut instincts and where we are heading. It’s a great time both for leading others and for carving out our own path.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As an Aries, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you will feel energized and physically strong at this time.

Tuesday, March 21st:

Tuesday, the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 12:01pm EDT (see Monday for details).

Tuesday late morning, at 11:58am EDT, we enter a very brief Moon Void of Course that lasts 3 minutes until 12:01pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term. As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart that stir you toward success.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Tuesday early afternoon, at 12:01pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday afternoon. Life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and enthusiastic about new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Also, on Tuesday early afternoon, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 0º50’ minutes of Aries. This marks the beginning of a new Moon cycle. Click here to watch my New Moon video on the subject.

This New Moon is unique in several ways: firstly, it is another SuperMoon (the fourth of four Super New Moons in a row). This means greater awareness of the issues connected to this particular New Moon energy.

Secondly, it is the first of two New Moons in a row in the same sign. The next Lunar cycle begins on April 20th — it will also be a New Moon in Aries and the first North Node Solar Eclipse in this fiery sign (it’s been 19 years since we had one of those — to be precise, the last one was in April 2004).

Another essential thing to note about this New Moon is the early degree it’s in. This Super New Moon occurs less than 24 hours after the Spring or Vernal Equinox — when the Sun moves into 0 degrees of Aries (an exalted degree). The New Moon becomes exact before it reaches 1 degree of Aries.

A New Moon in a cardinal sign at such a potent degree has lots of fire and initiation energy connected to it. Therefore anything we launch in the next two weeks has the chance to get off to a great start. That said, I recommend doing so before we enter Eclipse Season on April 6th, and certainly before April 10th, when we reach the 10-day mark before the Solar Eclipse becomes exact.

This New Moon chart has a Neptune/Sun/Moon/Mercury alignment in Pisces/Aries, followed by a Chiron-Jupiter alignment in Aries; in other words, we have one planet in Pisces, four planets, and one asteroid in Aries. This Line-up in Aries heightens the need for something new and for taking inspired actions.

Since Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is part of this Line-up, we are being asked to balance our approach to life by integrating the divine feminine and uplifting the sacred masculine.

We are being asked to step more fully into the divine masculine — the fire within us that burns for self-realization, freedom to walk our unique path, and courage to embrace all facets of ourselves (human & spirit).

Aries and its ruling planet Mars correspond with the quest to… To read the whole article and get all the Coaching Questions for this month’s New Moon, click here.

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in the following: 0-3 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn or 29° of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly for the next 28 days. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some intentions for this month’s Moon cycle — this process is potent with the New Moon in Aries — and as always, this is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact (and definitely not during a Moon void of course).

So this month, the best and most potent time to set intentions will be between 1:23pm on Tuesday, March 21st, and 1:13pm on Thursday, March 23rd (as always, all times are EDT- New York time). For more info on setting New Moon Intentions, click here.

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast time), I recommend you join my Facebook Fan-page or follow me on Twitter. I will post reminders on March 21st in the afternoon, March 22nd throughout the day, and the morning of March 23rd to let you know the most potent times to set your intentions.

Wednesday, March 22nd:

Wednesday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Tuesday early afternoon for details).

Wednesday early afternoon has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance, and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations. (Moon conjunct Chiron in Aries, exact at 1:05pm EDT)

Wednesday late afternoon, we feel bold and adventurous. We are seeking a new perspective and approach toward our “persona” and our personal goals. Ask yourself: Could I give myself permission to be bold? To bring humor to myself and others when a new perspective arises? (Moon conjunct Jupiter in Aries, exact at 4:17pm EDT)

Also on WednesdayPluto is about to change signs and is hanging out in the very last degree of Capricorn. So, ask yourself: What am I still trying to overcome or transform? Have I reached an authentic relationship with my own authority? Do I have a realistic understanding of my limitations and my standing in society?

Have I discovered a more empowering or passionate way to engage in my career or long-term goals? What role did “Self-care” and “nurturing myself” play in all of this?

Thursday, March 23rd:

Thursday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 2:42pm EDT (see Tuesday early afternoon for details).

Thursday morning, at 8:13am EDT, Pluto changes signs from practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn to freedom-loving, forward-thinking, and objective Aquarius, it will make its first pass through Aquarius until June 11th. Then it will make a second pass into Aquarius on Jan. 21st until Sept. 2nd, 2024; and a third pass on Nov. 19th, 2024 – March 2043; then again from Sept. 1st, 2043 – Jan. 19th, 2044.

This first short visit to Aquarius for two months and three weeks will give us some insight as to what themes we will be dealing with over the next 20 years when Pluto returns and stays for good in Aquarius in 2024-2044.

As Pluto is always a long-term empowerment process, we are looking to become more conscious of our social roles and how we can transform social norms and bring about profound social changes that support and empower most. Technology, innovations, and Artificial Intelligence will be a big focus.

Trusting the transformative process that takes place over the next 20 years is one of the most essential strategies for any Pluto transit. The harder we fight it, the harder we fall. The more we surrender to the process, the deeper the transformation we will experience.

Ask yourself: How does group consciousness empower or disempower me? In other words, my membership in certain networks, affiliations, groups of people, like-minded people out there in the world, etc.

What does my head need to hear that my heart just knows? What must I investigate more closely to move into an empowered future? How can I support others to move into an empowered future?

What is within my control, and what isn’t? Could I focus 5% more on the things I actually have control over? Could I surrender all the things that I don’t have control over? What if “surrender” was a sweet and gentle letting go of the apparent need to protect myself from possible future harm? What if I knew that my Soul is working in unison with my human persona for my greater empowerment here on Earth?

With Pluto’s move into Aquarius, we will immediately feel some tension that might get uncomfortable for some. Firstly, Pluto will square the Moon Nodes in Taurus-Scorpio until June 11th.

The North Node in Taurus increases our desire for physical and material security and stability. At the same time, the South Node in Scorpio reveals the emotional issues that need to be released or made conscious, such as processes around loss or grieving, the abuse of power, corruption, secrecy, the fear of death, lack, or the fear of further disempowerment or trauma in our future.

As Pluto squares this powerful polarity, we feel a strong urge to break free from the past and anything that is no longer empowering for us.

Ask yourself: Am I ready for some profound changes in my life? In society? Where am I looking to create more empowerment in my life? What about in the lives of others? What needs to happen so I can shift my current situation?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in Aquarius, LeoTaurus, or Scorpio? If so, you will feel the impact of Pluto’s deep and transformative transit through Aquarius more fully; this is especially true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio since Pluto rules Scorpio — you might also find that you are drawn toward deeper connections with the like-minded.

Thursday early afternoon, at 1:13pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that will last 1.5 hours until 2:42pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and move a project forward that is dear to you. It’s time for action: What small (or even large) action steps could you take? What needs to be communicated, so you can move forward faster? Who can give you the information you need?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday afternoon ahead of time.

Thursday afternoon, at 2:42pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Saturday evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing, and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It’s probably slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses.

Friday, March 24th:

Friday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday morning, we are invited to take care of anything that has value for us on a physical level and anything that brings us physical comfort (Moon conjuncts Venus in Taurus, exact at 6:31am EDT)

Friday evening, we are asked to connect with people with similar values who can provide practical support for our visions and share what is important to us. (Moon in Taurus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, exact at 7:52pm EDT)

Also on Friday: Mars is about to change signs and is hanging out in the very last degree of Gemini today. Ask yourself: What am I trying to finish up that started in August of last year? What have I learned about my mental, physical, and emotional capacities? What mental activities have supported me in channeling my restless mind-body energy in a productive way?

Have I been able to experiment with allowing my masculine “doing-energy” while serving my intuitive, receptive feminine? If so, what have I discovered about this alliance?

Saturday, March 25th:

Saturday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 8:42pm EDT (see Tuesday early afternoon for details).

Saturday morning, at 7:45am EDT, Mars finally changes signs from chatty, versatile Gemini to protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until May 20th; for these next two months, we need to feel secure before we act. We’re unusually protective of ourselves and our loved ones and so prefer to handle situations peacefully and humanely.

We could thus appear to be going rather slow at times — but with reassurance and confidence, we are more likely to be protective, helpful, and dependable.

Having projects that channel our energy into our home, family, or real estate will bring the best results. What is a simple action you could take in one of those areas?

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more emotional during this time. You may experience more conflict at home or the need to assert yourself with your loved ones. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 2 months. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.

Saturday late morning, a somewhat challenging Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:34am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday on; it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday (March 28th). We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

This aspect has an air of intensity, and we get the sense that something very powerful is taking place in our bodies, surroundings, or family/home. Quincunxes can affect our health or well-being, so take extra care of yourself during those six days.

If you are experiencing a power struggle, if you are feeling out of control, or just simply uncomfortable with the intensity that you feel all around you or inside of you, ask yourself: Could I allow myself to go deeper rather than faster? What might it look like if I thought of my future in terms of inclusivity and diversity rather than taking steps that keep me safe or stuck in the past?

How could I refrain from panicking on a physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual level? Could I slow down enough to stay away from impulsive actions that come from a fearful or self-protective place? What might “trusting the path to my future” look like?

As best as you can, evaluate any projects before getting involved; our intense energy and humanitarian spirit could feed other people’s unrealistic expectations, leaving us feeling drained and unsupported — empower yourself and others by thinking about what’s best for most, rather than protecting just a few.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 0-1 degrees of Cancer or Aquarius or 29 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Saturday early afternoon, at 12:19pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last almost 8.5 hours until 8:42pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to meet your need for material comfort with a gentler, more intuitive approach. Inner and outer beauty is key!

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday early afternoon until the evening ahead of time.

Saturday evening, at 8:42pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday morning (March 28th). For the next two days, we like to learn, connect, and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way…

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead…

Sunday, March 26th:

Sunday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Saturday evening for details).

Sunday very early morning, at 1:00am GMT, Daylight Savings Time begins in the UK and Europe. — which means that we now all have Summer Time, and converting to your time zone will be the same as it is for most of the year — for example, for the UK, it will be the usual 5 hours again.

Sunday morning, from 7:03am EDT on, it is time to start taking action on our New Moon intentions! If you set Intentions on March 21st, 22nd or 23rd – after the New Moon became exact — from this morning on will be the best time to start taking relevant actions.

If you wrote your intentions down, look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Sunday afternoon, a Mercury/Chiron alignment in 15 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 2:58pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday night on; it will remain strong until Monday night. This allows us to communicate our flaws and insecurities and thereby begin to heal them.

Bringing compassion to our past wounds can feel empowering and healing; doing the same for others is going to feel really good. Remember: what you can do for yourself, you can do for others more easily, and vice versa.

As best as you can, whatever you do or don’t communicate: cut yourself a little slack. Be open to bringing love and understanding to your communications. especially when you are feeling triggered.

Being human means being “imperfect”; there is no shame in that — it is our so-called imperfections that open hearts (our own and other people’s), that create and spread compassion. Ask yourself: Could I give myself 5% more permission to be “imperfect”? Could I love myself because of those so-called imperfections?

Double-check: Does blaming or judging myself or others for being “imperfect” actually serve me? Does it actually serve anyone at all? Could I be open to the possibility that my “imperfections” — whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual — exist to serve not only my personal evolution but also that of humanity? If that were true, what else would need re-evaluating?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-18 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo or Gemini (since Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

And…

A heads up for next Monday (March 27th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day; in the very early morning, the Moon sextiles Chiron in Aries, exact at 1:41am EDT; in the early morning, it sextiles Mercury in Aries, exact at 3:39am EDT; in the morning, it sextiles Jupiter in Aries, exact at 6:57am EDT; in the late evening, at 9:39pm EDT, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for almost 9 hours, until next week, Tuesday morning (March 28th). More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…
