Integrate Discernment & Compassion
This week’s headline items: the Full Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Tuesday morning; soon after, Saturn changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces. Finally, the Jupiter/Chiron alignment becomes exact on Sunday.
Please note: Daylight Saving Time begins in the US & Canada on Sunday very early morning.
There will only be two short Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Wednesday morning (for 37 minutes) and Friday early evening (for 29 minutes).
Before we get to this week’s Forecast, I have a gentle reminder:

Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, March 6th:
Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services, and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday morning, an opportune Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 8:42am EST. We started to feel this aspect build last Saturday morning (March 4th); it will remain strong until this Wednesday morning. We can become more aware of an original or unique approach to life. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store — certainly unexpected ones.
Ask yourself: What is my unique value? How could I tune into that gently and consistently? If I did tune in, is it at least possible that I could get more perfectly aligned with my values? My sense of worth?
What if the whole Universe was intelligent? What if that included every cell in my body? What knowledge would my body want to share with me?
As best as you can, watch out for those messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to “realize” it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-18 degrees of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity; this is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius).
Late Monday morning, we may need to balance head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. It’s a great day for connecting with others and being of service. We may also want to talk to our pets or engage in more spiritual conversations that can also support our physical well-being. (Moon in Virgo opposes Mercury in Pisces, exact at 11:32am EST)

Tuesday, March 7th:
Tuesday is quite the day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday for details).
Tuesday morning, at 7:40am EST, the Full Moon in 16.5° degrees of Virgo becomes exact. The Moon in detail-oriented, practical Virgo opposes the Sun in creative, sensitive Pisces — the entrance of the Moon into Virgo on Sunday night (March 5th) started the energetic build-up towards this Full Moon.
This particular Full Moon has a planetary line-up in Pisces and Aries and is part of a T-Square with Mars in Gemini as the Focal Point. We will examine other Moon aspects, including the trine to Uranus in Taurus and the Quincunx to Venus in Aries. More about all of this in a moment…
We also have two planets (Saturn & Pluto) in 29º of their signs (in this Full Moon chart) — an exalted degree — bringing heightened energy (possibly a bit of an obsession) to our need to complete and accomplish something worthwhile.
Saturn changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces only 55 minutes after the Full Moon becomes exact! This changes our focus for the next 2.5 years! What needs your focus and commitment until 2025/26? How can you turn your dreams into reality?
Now, a Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun; during these oppositions, we seek balance, alignment, and integration around two perspectives that seem opposites.
We often experience this through our interactions with others, and since these interactions are also the pathway to resolution, relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.
The balance we seek between Virgo and Pisces seems to be the fundamental challenge of our time: to integrate head and heart, science and intuition, discernment and compassion.
This Full Moon shows each of us how far we have come with integrating those two seemingly opposite archetypes within ourselves — and how far we have yet to go.
Let’s take a look at the polarity of this Full Moon:
The Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. Virgo seeks personal and practical wholeness, while Pisces reminds us of a transcendent wholeness — our divinity and interconnectedness with all life.
Virgo benefits from… To read the whole Full Mon article and get all of its Coaching questions, please click here.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-19 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, or Gemini? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Tuesday morning, at 8:35am EST, Saturn changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking and objective Aquarius to creative, intuitive, and sensitive Pisces. It will journey there until May 25, 2025, then make a second pass through Pisces from Sept. 1st, 2025, until Feb. 14th, 2026.
Saturn feels a bit like a fish out of water in Pisces, but it invites us to look for practical applications of our dreams, ideologies, connection to Source, one-consciousness, etc. This transit could also teach us that healthy boundaries and integrity can help us manifest our dreams.
During those periods, we are invited to look for practical applications for our dreams and spiritual or creative aspirations. We may well be firming up our intuitive connection to life — this transit is a time to focus on what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to our idealism, addictions, avoidance of life, and dreams. Saturn in Pisces also reminds us that… To read the whole article, click here
If you want to know how Saturn’s journey through Pisces will impact you personally over the next two to three years, feel free to get access to my webinar on this subject here (available after March 6th). We took a look at how this transit impacts our own birth charts.
All this is especially true if you are a Capricorn or Pisces Sun- or Rising-sign. As a Capricorn, you will feel a greater need for focusing on your dreams — and your spiritual sovereignty. As a Pisces, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious, and mature, in the next 2-3 years.
Wednesday, March 8th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 9:44am EST (see Monday for details).
Wednesday at 9:07am EST, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts 37 minutes until 9:44am EST. Use this intuitive time to empower each other around earthly issues and support each other in practical ways. Your attention to detail is enhanced; you might implement new health routines or other systems that support your long-term goals.
As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time.
Also, on Wednesday morning, at 9:44am EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Friday evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.
We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Thursday, March 9th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday morning for details).
Thursday morning, we are invited to make some internal adjustments: we may want to be social and collaborate with others (especially within our one-on-one relationships) but may also feel a need to tune in with ourselves and communicate from a more intuitive or spiritual place — introverted vs. extroverted. What do you hear when you get really quiet? What don’t you hear when it gets loud? (Moon in Libra quincunxes Mercury in Pisces, exact at 8:10am EST)
Thursday early afternoon, we are invited to reexamine our various one-on-one relationships and expand our perspectives regarding our identity or personal passions. Do your best to balance your need for harmony and fairness against exploring yourself and your goals from a higher perspective. It’s also an opportunity to open up our consciousness through other people. As best as you can, expand your perspectives about life and relationships — and enjoy the optimism.
Ask yourself: How can I balance my need for connection and harmony with my desire for greater self-fulfillment and self-alignment? What are my expectations of myself and others? Am I projecting my filters and assumptions onto other people? What might happen if I looked through those assumptions and got truly present with another person? (Moon in Libra opposes Jupiter in Aries, exact at 12:27pm EST)
Thursday afternoon, we become more aware that we need to find a balance between two very different energies — on the one hand, taking a compassionate approach towards our personal goals while being assertive (in a holistic way) out there in the world — and on the other hand, our need to connect and collaborate with others. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself made for more fulfilling connections with others? (Moon in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries, exact at 1:20pm EST)
Thursday late afternoon calls for some inner adjustments, as we feel uneasy or awkward and must make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, we want to innovate when it comes to what we value (ourselves included) — and maybe also have some financial breakthroughs; on the other hand, we feel the need to attend to our one-on-one relationships, supporting them — and perhaps collaborating. (Moon in Libra quincunxes Uranus in Taurus, exact at 4:15pm EST)
Thursday late evening, we are invited to make some more internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others but may also need to become aware of our intuitive, more creative side. What do you feel/sense when you get really quiet? (Moon in Libra quincunxes Sun in Pisces, exact at 10:52pm EST)
Friday, March 10th:
Friday, the Moon remains harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 7:06pm EST (see Wednesday morning for details).
Friday evening, 6:37pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that will last for 29 minutes until 7:06pm. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, collaborate with others and play nice, on the other hand, be authentic and truthful about what you want to build long-term.
As always, with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening ahead of time.
Also, on Friday evening, at 7:06pm EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until very early next Monday (March 13th). Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. It does so through subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. This makes it an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
The Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, “love me or leave me”, etc. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies.
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Saturday, March 11th:
Saturday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Friday evening for details).
Saturday late morning, an opportune Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 10:05am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Wednesday evening on; it will remain strong until Monday evening. This aspect helps our one-on-one relationships, bringing passion and/or sexiness to them — and if we’re not in a long-term committed relationship, we’ll get some help in connecting with others — online or in person.
This could also be a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, and pleasure in general. Remember: this is an “opportunity” — those aren’t necessarily handed to us; we have to make them happen.
Ask yourself: What conversations might lead to a valuable experience or adventure? Or some kind of new beginning with others?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC), or any personal planets in 21-26 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Aquarius, or Leo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)
Saturday late afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 4:04pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening on; it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This brings an opportunity for insight and novelty. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to realize it.
This aspect also brings an opportunity to see things from a different perspective or to put a new spin on our “old” thinking structure. We like to connect in unusual ways, and any group activities or brainstorming with like-minded people could generate amazing insights — this might be a busy day. As best as you can — and as much as you want to — stay open to other dimensions.
Ask yourself: How might connecting to others in unusual or new ways create a better future for all of us and for this planet?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-18 degrees of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).
Sunday, March 12th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Friday evening for details).
Sunday very early morning, at 2am EST, Daylight Saving Time begins in North America & Canada. This means from today on, I will be posting all astrological alignments and planetary movements in EDT (US-Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Please make sure that you adjust this for your location accordingly. For example, in the UK, it will be 4 hours ahead instead of the usual 5 — until March 26th.
Also, on Sunday, Jupiter’s alignment with Chiron in 14.5 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 1:53am EDT, We started to feel this aspect build from Feb. 23rd on; it will remain strong until March 29th. We also talked about this already on Feb. 23rd, feel free to go back to that entry.
Just briefly, the Jupiter-Chiron alignment will stir up any beliefs we hold about our wounded masculine energies — and our sensitivities (too much, not enough, not “normal”).
The good news is that this combo fosters humility; paradoxically, we may also find that we experience more bravery or humor around our self-perceived “flaws” or insecurities. We see possibilities more clearly and can take positive actions in connection to our wounding and insecurities.
Collectively and individually, our desire to understand our humanity will be stronger; we feel more optimistic, less ashamed, and want to adopt a holistic approach to ourselves and our healing journey.
Ask yourself: What might be a possible new perspective on my personal healing journey? How could that inform my approach to that healing journey? Am I expecting too much of myself in connection to my healing journey? Too little? What would I be able to contribute to the world if I embraced my humanity just 5% more? If I brought 5% more acceptance and humor to my healing process?
Feel free to also watch the “Jupiter-Chiron alignment in Aries” webinar to get a better understanding of how this plays out in your own birth chart. Click here for more info and/or to purchase.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-17 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
And…
A heads up for next Monday (March 13th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 3:21am EDT; at 2:58am EDT, we enter a brief Moon VoC that lasts until 3:21am EDT; at that time, it moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until next week, Wednesday morning (March 15th); in the early morning, the Moon in Sagittarius squares Saturn in Pisces, exact at 4:34am EDT. More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…
