Enthusiasm & Maturity — Forecast for March 2nd – 8th

 

This week’s headline items: Mercury is still Retrograde all week, and on Wednesday afternoon, it will be re-entering Aquarius for a brief period, while late that evening, Venus changes signs from Aries to Taurus. On Thursday morning, Mercury goes into its Station-phase again, preparing to end its 3-week Retrograde phase.

There will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for a little over 2 hours), Friday very early morning (for a little over 2 hours), and Sunday early morning (for a little over 2.5 hours).

 

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have two quick announcements:

1) On Sunday (March 8th) at 2am, Daylight Savings Time begins in North America and Canada; from Sunday on, I will be posting all astrological alignments and movements in EDT (US-Eastern Daylight Savings Time). If you live in the UK, Europe, or Australia/New Zealand, please keep this additional one hour time difference in mind, when converting to your time zone 😉 For example, for the UK it will be 4 hours ahead instead of the usual 5 — until March 29th.

Now, this week’s Forecast…

 

Monday, March 2nd:

Monday, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening. Until then, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way… The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday late morning: we may experience some internal discomfort and need to make some inner adjustments. We feel nudged toward mature and cautious actions that build something durable.

Monday afternoon, at 2:57pm EST, the first Quarter Moon in a little over 12.5 degrees of Gemini becomes exact (we started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Gemini on Sunday afternoon – March 1st). The Moon in chatty, versatile Gemini makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in sensitive, compassionate Pisces.

We feel compelled to take action. On Feb. 23rd, the New Moon in Pisces became exact: “Seeds” planted then are probably “sprouting” by now — and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow — and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
