Take a Serious Look at Your Interconnectedness With Life 

 

This week’s headline items: Saturn’s Station intensifies on Monday and comes to a halt on Saturday, starting its yearly 4-month Retrograde phase at 7 degrees of Pisces; the Balsamic Phase begins early Wednesday; Neptune begins its Station phase on Friday; the New Moon in Gemini becomes exact very early on Sunday.

 

There will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for 4 minutes), Thursday late evening (for 10 minutes), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for 6.5 hours).

Monday, June 12th:

Monday, the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. Life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.

Monday morning, we can feel a nice flow and ability to be courageous and walk our own path. We are invited to have fun connecting with others and doing things that bring us joy — as best as you can, explore something new, take a risk. (Moon in Aries trines Mars in Leo, exact at 8:35am EDT)

Monday evening has lots of potential for healing around family, the “mother archetype”, home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with and around our ability to be assertive; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance, and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations. (Moon conjuncts Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:15pm EDT)

Monday late evening, we have an opportunity to connect with our own personal goals and share our passion with others in an inspiring way. (Moon in Aries sextiles the Sun in Gemini, exact at 11:59pm EDT)

Also, on Monday, Saturn’s Station intensifies at 7º of Pisces until June 20th. “Stationing” is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more “exalted”; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.

Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done — so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments, and ability to “do” life on life’s terms.

As spirit beings in a physical world, it’s best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to “play by the rules”, the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the “domain” of time: growing up, maturing, understanding and acknowledging our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.

Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, where would your personal “Earth Classes” be focused right now? Where are you being asked to take a more serious look at your interconnectedness with life? Do your spiritual practices truly resonate with you? Do they align with who you are now? What requires a more mature approach in those areas?

We are also being asked to face our various modes of escapism from this world. What do we see now that needs our attention, that is keeping us separate from feeling truly connected to our intuitive knowing? To our higher Self? To our compassionate heart?

What calls for a commitment towards a realistic way to connect to all of life and trust our intuitive knowing? What will time do?

As best as you can during the Station phase, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. This more intensified Station-phase will last until June 20th — and Saturn will start its 4-month Retrograde phase on June 17th in 7 degrees of Pisces (more on that later this week).
