Our Humanity — Forecast for Feb. 18th – 24th

 

This week’s headline items: Chiron changes signs from Pisces to Aries early Monday morning; in the early evening, the Sun changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces. Late Tuesday morning, the Full Moon in Virgo becomes exact, and Mercury enters its Shadow phase.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for an hour), Wednesday late evening (for 12.5 hours), and Saturday late morning (for 45 minutes).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

 

Monday (Feb. 18th):

Monday, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.

We all love to be admired and — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness… 🙂 So if you can, hand out some compliments, let people in your life know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart with this and all other things: be honest, authentic.

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next day. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Monday early morning, an opportune Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:55am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week, Friday evening (Feb. 15th) on; it will remain strong until this Tuesday evening (Feb. 19th). We have the opportunity to become aware of an original or unique approach to life. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store — certainly unexpected ones 😉

What is your uniqueness? How could you express that proudly and authentically? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to “realize” it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 27-29 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius or 0-1 degree of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn ? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

On Monday at 4:10am EST, Chiron re-enters fast-paced, enthusiastic Aries, where it will journey until June 2026 (when it will enter Taurus for a brief time) And then retrograde back into Aries in Sept. 2026 until April 2027. Check to see if you are maybe revisiting themes that came up around late April of last year, when Chiron entered Aries for the first time.

What is the significance of Chiron? It’s considered the bridge between the limitations of the physical and the unlimited nature of the non-physical (or spiritual) world. Often referred to as the “Wounded Healer”, it reminds us of our humanity — and guides us to see it as a gift.

When we take responsibility for our human limitations and move past seeing them as “wrong” or “bad”, our inner gifts and uniqueness can emerge more completely and powerfully. If you are already a Member of my online community, feel free to read the whole article about Chiron in Aries here

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this transit over the next 8 years. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries, since Chiron will move through this sign for the next 8 years.

Monday morning, a Venus/Saturn alignment in almost 17 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact at 5:52am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week Friday (Feb. 15th) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening (Feb. 20th). This alignment brings a sense of maturity and commitment to our relationships and the things we most value. Relationships feel stable and steady, although feelings are expressed reservedly, formally, or sparingly.

We experience a new sense of realism in existing partnerships. A sense of duty may lead us to sacrifice a personal pleasure to a “cause” or long-term goal.

We are ready to face any problems in personal relationships that have been swept under the carpet — and they will likely surface. Renewed ties to old friends, business partners or lovers are possible, as is a new sense of responsibility in existing relationships. This is not the best time to start a brand-new relationship.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 14-20 degrees of of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, or Libra? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

And, Monday early evening, at 6:04pm EST, the Sun changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking and objective Aquarius to dreamy, creative, compassionate, Pisces, until March 20th. This brings our awareness to our sense of oneness with everyone and everything around us.

We feel like sponges, able to pick up all energy around us; this also makes us more sensitive and emotional. We are more drawn towards expressing ourselves in a creative or spiritual way.

Music or energy healing gives us vitality and can heighten our own personal vibrations.  We need to slow down a little and listen to our intuition more fully — if we ignore our feelings and the subtle messages we are getting, we will most likely feel more anxious and somewhat frustrated. This could also be connected to the slow pace that our body or our surroundings are demanding of us.

The keyword here is “allowing”: as best as you can, be aware of what you are resisting, moment to moment, and create some space — allow it to be as it is. In addition, notice when you are experiencing someone else’s feelings rather than your own. Ask yourself: Is this mine or someone else’s?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Pisces Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Pisces, you will feel …
