Now, this week’s Forecast…
Monday, February 13th:
Monday, the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 8:31pm EST. Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever… as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction — it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It’s therefore an excellent time to look at “old” fears, limiting habits, or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity — it’s “in or out”, “with us or against us”, and “love me or leave me”. It can therefore be stormy — a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we “work” the energies …
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward — act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings — no matter if they’re “polite” or “timely”. Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information — and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself — and love thyself — you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Monday late morning, at 11:01am EST, the last Quarter Moon in 24°5’ of Scorpio becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from when the Moon entered Scorpio, Saturday early afternoon (Feb. 11th). While in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, the Moon makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius.
This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. We are better served during the last Quarter Moon by reviewing any projects begun around the last New Moon — in this case, that would be Jan. 21st — rather than launching new ones.
As best as you can, find kind and creative solutions for whatever comes up, whether internally or with others. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes “Force” to show up — and that’s ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-27 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, or Leo? f so, you are more affected by this month’s last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer since the Sun rules Leo, and the Moon rules Cancer.
Monday evening, at 6:52pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts a little over 1.5 hours until 8:31pm EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to focus on inner processes. As best as you can, release any fears or traumas that keep you stuck in the past, and deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about out there in the world — you have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task now — something that might serve you long-term.
And, as always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time.
Monday at 8:31pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. We’re strongly motivated to explore and learn. We’re not likely to be big fans of routine — diversity and new adventures work best at this time — we’re also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic, and inspired — but we also have a high degree of independence — and taking these two influences together, we’d rather inspire others to do things our way, as opposed to issuing or obeying orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge — just watch out you aren’t overdoing or overstating things.
Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius — and it is currently transiting through Aries, making this a great time to explore our individual passions and goals. As best as you can, bring the enthusiastic energies of Jupiter to the fulfillment of your own desires — and get excited about new paths and new projects.
Ask yourself: What might open up if I became more connected to “I am that I am”? What if I took a 5% more positive attitude towards myself and my personal passions and goals?
What might promote my independence and me walking my own path? What might do the same for growth around my sexuality and my human identity? What personal beliefs about my identity am I now ready to explore or go beyond?
Use this time to create more joy and pleasure in the pursuit of your personal goals, especially if you are getting burned out from doing too much for too long.

Tuesday, Feb. 14th:
Tuesday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday evening for details).
Happy Valentine’s Day! Whether you are celebrating with someone or just celebrating yourself, enjoy this adventurous day. Allow yourself to explore new ways of looking at your future.
Tuesday very early morning, we have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, have an adventure, or do something that gets us excited about the future. (Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Mercury in Aquarius, exact at 3:39am EST)
Tuesday late morning, we have lots of energy and a positive attitude towards life. Be open to exploring something you feel passionate or enthusiastic about — what projects come to mind? What would be a fantastic use for all the physical energy that you currently have access to? (Moon in Sagittarius trines Jupiter in Aries, exact at 11:56am EST)
Tuesday evening, we might find ourselves wanting to explore a new healing modality for body, mind, and heart aimed at renewing our enthusiasm for life. We are capable of being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves at this time — and a gentle and holistic approach is best. (Moon in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries, exact at 7:34pm EST)
Tuesday late evening, we are asked to balance our need to venture beyond our day-to-day mind with our desire for mentally stimulating projects. (Moon in Sagittarius opposes Mars in Gemini, exact at 9:06pm EST)
Tuesday late evening, we are invited to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. We are also being asked to make space for recalibrating physical issues (body, money, our planet, etc) and being open to new perspectives and attitudes or maybe even further adventures. It is a dance, and possibly not a comfortable one. What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being uncomfortable? (Moon in Sagittarius quincunxes Uranus Taurus, exact at 10:59pm EST)
Wednesday, Feb. 15th:
Wednesday, the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday evening for details).
Last day to take advantage of the discount for our Special webinar: Leaping Forward into Love — A taste of Venus! Join us live tomorrow, Thursday! It will be a treat!
How would you like to have a better relationship with yourself and others? It’s time to ask yourself: What do you bring to all of your relationships?
The relationship that you have with yourself is what you bring to all other relationships. This encompasses things like your inner dialog, ability or inability to nurture yourself, and ability or inability to understand your needs moment-to-moment and then allow your feelings to come up and move through. It includes the way you honor your being and your talents, your willingness or unwillingness to grow and step outside of your comfort zone, and your capacity for self-compassion and self-forgiveness — especially when it comes to forgiving yourself for “being human”.
Would you like to have a better relationship with yourself? 👉 Register here now to get your discount or by 6:30pm EST tomorrow, Thursday (without the discount).
Wednesday morning, a Venus/Neptune alignment in 24° of Pisces becomes exact at 7:25am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday (Feb. 12th) on; it will remain strong until this Friday evening. It asks us to dissolve anything that keeps us from opening our hearts more fully. This connection makes us dream of Soul connections with others.
We are highly romantic and may turn a blind eye to “what is” in pursuit of a fantasy that we want or need to have fulfilled. Beware of anything that sounds too good to be true — whether that’s in connection with people or money — it might indeed be “too good to be true.”
On a more positive note, this combination also makes it easier for us to forgive others and ourselves — we can see the divine potential in others and therefore lean towards a compassionate approach.
Ask yourself: What needs my forgiveness and higher love (myself included)? What needs to dissolve or melt away for my heart to be fully open?
What is my current relationship to the divine? In what ways could my imagination support that relationship? What might happen if I let myself be held by the divine? Might I be able to trust life and its mysterious ways more easily?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-27 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, and Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Wednesday evening, at 8:06pm EST, we enter a Moon VoC that lasts 4 hours until 12am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded people, focus on the bigger picture, or commit to something that gets you excited about the future.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening until Thursday very early morning ahead of time.
Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning, at 12am EST, the Moon moves into ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Friday night/Saturday very early morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, and cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid “should-ing” on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying “I am doing the best I can and that’s all I can ever do”
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn — and it is transiting through Aquarius making this a great time to take a look at our visions for humanity and at things we would like to accomplish long-term within our communities (in-person or online).
It’s also a great time to take a more serious look at our various networks and connections to like-minded people; as best as you can, be authentic about your affiliations: Do they truly resonate with your personal vision for the future — as it stands now, rather than what it was 5 or 10 years ago?
Does participation in those groups or networks align with who you are now and with where you see yourself 5 years from now? What do you truly want to commit yourself to?
Also, on Wednesday night/Thursday every early morning around 1:55am EST, Mercury squares the Moon Nodes (6º49’ of Taurus-Scorpio) when Mercury reaches 6º49’ of Aquarius. This aspect started to build from Monday night on; it will stay strong until Friday late evening. Squares mark turning points; they challenge us to go beyond our survival strategies and stay objective and detached when thinking about the future.
When it comes to our inner dialog and communication skills, we are asked to take a 90-degree turn and visualize a future we want to “live into” versus one we want to avoid.
We must make a perceptual shift to move forward — and this one is a turning point for the conditioned or survival mind — we must balance our need for physical comforts against more authentic, emotional connections — those that support a deeper understanding of our past traumas and support us in moving beyond them into a future that provides stability and abundance.
Ask yourself: Where do I need to be more conscious of my inner dialog about the future? Or my conversations with like-minded people? What might become possible for me and my communities if I got really clear about what kind of thinking would create the future I would truly like to “live into”?
The Moon Nodes encode a tremendous amount of information about the current evolutionary process of humanity. They symbolize the path of “Return to Source”, where we remember our inherent divinity and unity.
We are invited to find a balance between inner processes and outer focus. We may want to practice going beyond our fears (in general) and attachments to survival strategies (i.e. our conditioning).
We may also want to make an effort to connect to what’s important to us, to what we truly value (ourselves included).
Ask yourself: Where do I stand when it comes to a healthy sense of Self? What stands between me and “healthy self-esteem”? What’s my relationship to the physical world? To my body? My personal resources?
Since we are dealing with many Fixed Signs here, it would be futile to get too attached to thoughts, preferences, visions, emotional connections, comforts, habits, opinions, etc.
Thursday, Feb. 16th:
Thursday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day (see Wednesday night for details).
Thursday evening at 7:30pm EST/4:30pm PST, we will be having our premiere of: Looking forward into Love — A taste of Venus! It’s not too late to join us! 👉 Register here now or by 6:30pm EST today (Thursday).
Thursday late morning, a Sun/Saturn alignment in 27.5° of Aquarius becomes exact at 11:48am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday evening (Feb. 12th) on; it will remain strong until this Sunday evening (Feb. 19th). This alignment brings a more serious tone to our commitments with our long-term goals — it’s a time when we are called upon to “get real”.
This is especially true for future visions that require diligence and self-discipline but also applies to anything that requires consistency and a mature approach. We are motivated by the desire to manifest tangible results. We are able to focus and work hard right now, especially if we have a vision in mind that serves the greater good; we welcome a sense of discipline, structure, and order.
Recommended at this time: making new commitments to previously-held visions, taking care of our responsibilities, and making careful use of anything that’s within our control.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, or 0-1 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this alignment more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn).
Thursday late evening, around 9:30pm EST, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 13° of Capricorn. This lasts until Monday very early morning when the New Moon/SuperMoon in Pisces becomes exact (more on that next week… however, feel free to watch my Super New Moon video already now, here)
We are being asked to slow down and get quiet to listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch; as best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath, and exhale any tension. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.
This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Friday, Feb. 17th:
Friday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day (see Wednesday night for details).
Friday late evening, an opportune Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:13pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Thursday morning on; it will remain strong until Sunday morning. This aspect is an opportunity for us to expand our thinking and express ourselves with confidence and optimism — we share what’s important to us from a place of open-mindedness and excitement.
This connection also creates a possibility of expansion through stepping into uncharted territory. Humor can be a great way to tap into this energetic combo. This planetary connection also favors group-experiences, networking, teaching, studying, and taking initiative. We more readily exercise good judgment and are more “philosophical” and open to learning.
As with any opportunity, we have to “take” it — it requires we take action. What could you do that would instill confidence in your exploration of the mind? Is there a new mental process that is asking to be explored, especially in connection with future visions? Are you ready to expand your mind? Your thinking?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-11 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Friday late evening, at 11:18pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that will last a little over 1 hour until 12:35am EST (Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term successes. We might get a little obsessed with a project or task — as best as you can, take breaks, and don’t forget to practice a little self-care.
And, as always with a Moon VoC, don’t start anything new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow as best as you can. You may also want to plan Friday late evening/night ahead of time.
Saturday, Feb. 18th:
Saturday very early morning, at 12:35am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Sunday night. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional, and interactions are more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas, and methods, and progress are promoted while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future — or outer space… Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius — and this planet is currently moving through Taurus, making these next two days a great time to look at our physical connection to our own body, finances, and whatever is most important to us on this planet.
It’s also a great time to innovate and make changes in our lives around any physical matters that no longer serve us or keep us stuck in the past; we need to elevate our thinking if we want our bodies and the planet to vibrate at a higher frequency.
Ask yourself: Do I need to give my body something different to raise it to a higher vibration? When I tune in to myself, what insights does my body provide?
Where have I become too rigid in connection with my body, my physical resources, or my talents? Where have I become too comfortable with those things? What is my connection to the Earth? To Nature? Do I need more physical space? More physical movement?
Saturday early evening, at 5:34pm EST, the Sun changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius to creative, compassionate Pisces, where it will journey until March 20th. This brings our awareness to our sense of oneness with everyone and everything around us. We feel like sponges, able to pick up all energy around us; this also makes us more sensitive and emotional.
We are more drawn towards expressing ourselves in a creative or spiritual way. Music or energy healing gives us vitality and can heighten our own personal vibrations. We need to slow down a little and listen to our intuition more fully — if we ignore our feelings and the subtle messages we are getting, we will most likely feel more anxious and somewhat frustrated. This could also be connected to the slow pace that our body or our surroundings are demanding of us.
The keyword here is “allowing”: as best as you can, be aware of what you are resisting, moment to moment, and create some space — allow it to be as it is. Notice when you are sensing someone else’s feelings rather than your own.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Pisces Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Pisces, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, your vitality will depend on allowing things to flow and being gentle with yourself.
Sunday, Feb. 19th:
Sunday, the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 11:56pm EST (see Saturday very early morning for details).
Sunday early afternoon, an opportune Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 12:05pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Friday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday early morning (Feb. 21st). This is an opportunity to bring a sense of compassion and creativity to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding in our lives.
It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real/authentic and soften our approach a little. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 27-29 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Scorpio, Taurus, or 0-1 degrees of Aries, Aquarius, Sagittarius, or Gemini? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Scorpio (Venus rules Taurus and Libra; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Sunday late evening, at 9pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that lasts for 3 hours, until 11:56pm EST. Use this intuitive time to focus on a long-term vision for your communities that involve a mature and realistic approach. As best as you can, take your time, and do your best to come from a place of integrity.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late evening/night ahead of time.
Sunday at 11:56pm EST, the Moon moves into sensitive, creative Pisces, where it will journey until next week, Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning (Feb. 21st/22nd). This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also an excellent time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them — in fact, “going with the flow” is the best way to go for the next couple of days.
Neptune is the ruler of Pisces — and it is currently in its own sign, making these next two days a great time to take a look at our inner spiritual connection to our “higher Self”, “Source”, or “God/Goddess”.
It’s also a great time to allow all there is, as it is, and to go with the flow, following our intuitive voice as much as possible. We are being asked to tap into the “feminine” energies within ourselves, so we can start to vibrate on a universal frequency.
Ask yourself: Is my “Higher Self” asking for more introverted/inner love-time? If I tune in with my intuitive voice, what am I receiving? Sensing?
Where in my life have I become too disconnected from life? Love? God/Goddess? What is my connection to the spiritual realm? What about the “heart realm”? How could nature and animals teach me about those realms?
Do I need more downtime? More resting time? More compassion? How might being kind to myself and trusting the process of Life create a more loving connection with the universe?
Sunday is also the last day before the Super New Moon in Pisces becomes exact. This is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon (and if you haven’t seen it yet, click here to watch my Super New Moon video).
Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.
And…
A heads up for next Monday (Feb. 20th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day; in the very early morning at 2:06am EST, the Super New Moon in almost 1°5’ of Pisces becomes exact; also in the very early morning at 2:56am EST, Venus changes signs from intuitive, creative, dreamy Pisces to fast-paced, enthusiastic, active Aries, where it will journey until March 16th; in the late morning, an opportune Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:59am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from Saturday evening on; it will remain strong until next week, Tuesday evening (Feb. 21st). More about all the details in next week’s Forecast…
