On April 12th, at 8:22pm EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact in 23 degrees of Libra.
April 10th in the evening, the Moon enters Libra, beginning the build of energy towards this eventful Full Moon — and almost 47 hours later, the Sun in Aries opposes the Moon in Libra.
All Full Moons provide an opportunity for heightened awareness and integration of traits related to their polarities, particularly those we may have neglected or suppressed.
This Full Moon has intensified effects on us for several important reasons.
First, we are still in Eclipse Season until April 21st. This is a period characterized by uncertainty and change that encourages us to embrace an upgrade in our consciousness.
So the questions here are: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?
Secondly, there are some powerful aspects in this Full Moon chart:
- The Moon trines Jupiter in Gemini
- The Moon also opposes Chiron, which aligns with the Sun in Aries
- Mars, the ruler of Aries, is currently in Cancer, forming a square aspect with Chiron and the Full Moon polarity of Libra/Aries. This makes Mars the focal point of a powerful T-square that has its empty leg located in a late degree of Capricorn.
- Venus, the ruler of Libra, halts in Pisces just 40 minutes after the Full Moon’s peak. This marks the end of her six-week Retrograde phase and the beginning of her post-Shadow phase.
- While highly exalted, Venus aligns with Saturn, the North Node, and Mercury, forming part of a stellium — and all of these planets in Pisces also trine Mars in Cancer and sextile Uranus in Taurus!
- Mercury is also exalted, having ended its 3-week Retrograde phase on April 7th, changing direction in Pisces just five days before Venus.

This Full Moon illuminates the Libra-Aries axis, prompting us to explore the balance between seemingly opposite energies: masculine and feminine, action and stillness, giving and receiving, clutching and releasing.
The Libra-Aries polarity highlights the spiritual dance between various polarities:
* individual drives/goals and one-on-one relationships
* masculine and feminine (in their ideal versions)
* independence and collaboration
Regardless of being single or “in a relationship,” we all have relationships with others—whether in business, personal matters, health, or any other one-on-one interaction.
As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is about cultivating independence, initiative, and the courage to forge new paths.
Libra, positioned opposite Aries in the zodiac, seeks harmony in relationships while maintaining personal truth and values. Aries, ruled by Mars, embodies the warrior archetype and represents the sacred masculine. In contrast, Libra is governed by Venus, the goddess of love, symbolizing the divine feminine.
Regardless of gender, we all possess both masculine and feminine energies. When one energy is ignored or suppressed, it can lead to…

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
