On Sept. 17th, at 10:34pm EDTthe Sun opposes the Moon in 25.5 degrees of Pisces.

All Full Moons are impressive sights, but this month’s will be especially noteworthy — it is a “Full Harvest SuperMoon“.

The entrance of the Moon into Pisces on Sept. 16th starts the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon — if you are a Member of my online community, you may also want to watch my video on the subject here.

This is the second of four Super Full Moons in a row where the Moon is closer to the Earth, increasing its tidal and electromagnetic effects.

SuperMoons are 15% brighter than an average Full Moon and 30% brighter than when the Moon is at its farthest distance from the Earth. For more on the astronomy of SuperMoons, click here

In addition to being a slightly larger-than-average “SuperMoon,” this Full Moon will also be a partial Lunar Eclipse.

Eclipse Season started on Sept. 2nd (at the time of the last New Moon) and lasts until Oct. 24th (past the next Super Full Moon).

So the questions here are: What am I aware of? What will I choose? Where will I focus my mind? My Heart? What might become possible if I got 5% more comfortable with being in transition?

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and thought forms.

This means we may feel more easily triggered as buried emotions and fears surface. Please be aware of projections and jumping to conclusions.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all, so keep in mind that Eclipses ultimately support a shift in consciousness and thus bring us closer to our Soul’s path.

This partial Lunar Eclipse will be visible from most of North America, all of South America, Europe, all but the easternmost parts of Africa, western portions of Asia and Russia, and parts of Antarctica

It lasts approximately 1 hour, so we can expect to sense the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for the next four weeks.

This Lunar Eclipse is the first of two Eclipses within two weeks; it offers an opportunity for a more balanced connection between the head and the heart.

There are two Eclipse Seasons per year. They give us the opportunity to upgrade our energy, emotional, and mental bodies, together with our physical experience.

On Sept. 17th, we can ask ourselves: How far have we come since the last Eclipse Season that began in March 2024? What can we see now that was not apparent then?

All Eclipses transmit new energetic codes and transformative downloads, symbolized by the signs involved, in this case: The Moon is in creative, free-flowing, sensitive Pisces, while the Sun is in detail-oriented, practical, analytical Virgo.

Eclipses are usually powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

This Full Moon is the first Lunar Eclipse in the Pisces-Virgo polarity, and therefore provides a preview of what we can expect when the Moon Nodes start their journey through Pisces/Virgo — from Jan. 11th, 2025 until July 26th, 2026.

This constitutes a new collective Soul’s Journey, which emphasizes making more of an effort to trust our connection to the divine and our intuition, our ability to open our hearts and co-create with our higher Self.

This Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse also calls us to release or redefine our conditioned minds, judgments of ourselves and others, and anything disconnected from our hearts.

We are encouraged to become more aware of our biases, approach anything we do not know or understand with compassion, and bring acceptance and unconditional love to our interactions with others.

With a new Eclipse cycle, this is a longer-term process — in this case, one that will last until February 2027.

Full Moons illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices. We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a North Node Eclipse, we need to…

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 25 degrees of Pisces:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
