On October 28th at 4:24 pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun (in 5º of Taurus/Scorpio). The entrance of the Moon into Taurus on Oct. 28th at 7:44am EDT begins the energetic build-up towards this powerful Full Moon.

This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. Every six months, the Sun, Moon, & Earth align precisely enough for Solar and Lunar Eclipses to occur.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth’s shadow, stimulating our emotional body and increasing our awareness of unconscious patterns and fears. If you’d like to learn more, and as a Member of my online community, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

This powerful Full Moon is a shallow Partial Lunar Eclipse viewable across Europe, Africa, most of Asia, and western Australia. The partial Eclipse lasts 78 minutes (=1hr 18min), so we will feel the influence of this Lunar Eclipse for approximately 39 days.

This Lunar Eclipse is the last of the Eclipses in the Taurus-Scorpio polarity — an Eclipse cycle that began in November 2021!

This allows us to complete an evolutionary process emphasizing creating a healthy sense of self-esteem and having a healthy relationship with the physical world —  learning how to value ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

So, the question is: How well have you been doing with this exploration for yourself since November of 2021? What more is there to be learned? What processes are asking to be completed?

What fears are still asking to be faced? What old traumas still need to be healed? What’s the best way to own your power? What is still holding you back?

As you might know from my last Solar Eclipse video, Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey (collectively and individually).

With this particular Eclipse, the Moon Nodes are no longer in the same signs as the Full Moon polarity. That said, they are within 12 degrees of the Full Moon — close enough for this to still be a Lunar Eclipse — partial perhaps, but still powerful.

The Lunar Eclipse highlights relationships of all kinds — but with this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, there is a heightened emphasis on self-value and intimate relationships. Full Moons also illuminate the truth and consequences of our choices.

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what we need to explore, embrace, and integrate about the Taurus energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree of Taurus. Think back to Oct. 27th, 2004: What did I need to integrate back then?

What became clearer at that time around exploring my talents? What about my self-worth — was I able to see my value? What about my relationship with money? To my physical reality? My Body? My ability to receive pleasure? To experience inner peace? Where do I need to take this to the next level?

We will also address this upcoming Lunar Eclipse in our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 27th at 5pm EDT/2pm PT! Please join us if you want to know how this powerful Lunation will impact you personally. We will also address Saturn’s Station Direct phase in Pisces.

There is currently an Early Bird Special that is available until October 25th! So I invite you to take advantage of that — unless you are already a Star Member — you are automatically registered and will receive an invite email to join us live (it goes out the day before the live event). I release the mp4 video recording within 24 hours of the live event.

For the next 39 days, we seek the balance and integration of those two polarities and are aware that something needs to be brought into alignment; the balance in question is between recognizing our deepest emotional desires or fears and most authentic motivations (Scorpio), and our relationship to our physical body and our talents (how worthy we feel), what we value on the physical plane, and the planet we live on (Taurus).

You can ask yourself with this Lunar Eclipse: What do I truly value? What deserves my attention, appreciation, and care? Which of my values stem from social conditioning? Which of them needs to change?

At its best, Scorpio is associated with transformation and our capacity to shed what may have served us in the past but now hinders our growth. We are indeed being asked to shed something in our life — a false belief, perhaps, or a “fake” identity or “way of being” (an addiction or obsessive behavior) but it could also be a relationship, job, or something else more concrete.

The Sun’s passage through Scorpio is a time of transition, a time to go within to honor the realities of death and rebirth — the cycle of life, the most natural thing there is. The Sun started its passage through Scorpio on October 23rd.

Ask yourself: How far have I come in regards to investigating or understanding my deepest desires? How am I doing with owning previously denied or rejected parts of myself? What parts of myself still operate on survival strategies? Where am I still left feeling disempowered in my life?

As our collective consciousness continues to awaken, what’s been in the shadows comes more and more to the forefront, so we can see it more clearly and deal with it on a conscious level. Lunar Eclipses also allow us to see the Shadow aspects of each sign.

Scorpio ultimately teaches us that every ending is also a beginning — but the denser vibrations of Scorpio tend to bring up trust issues, black-and-white thinking, addiction to drama and darkness (or substances) — and anything we want to prevent. We could find ourselves coming from an instinctual, self-protective place, from survival, rather than intuition and love-based spaciousness.

Ask yourself here: What am I invited to shed? Is there a cycle in my life that is ending? What might a new beginning look like?

The other pole in this balancing act is Taurus, which seeks a healthy relationship with the physical world; the Moon in Taurus calls us back to our senses. Taurus is often associated with money, but the sign is ultimately about our values, of which money is a subset.

We are invited to remember that we are blessed with a miraculous birthday suit, and a beautiful, precious planet — if we feel unworthy or empty inside, material objects or accumulations can only serve as a substitute or distraction from the emptiness that comes from forgetting those facts.

Ask yourself: What do I spend my time, energy, and money on? What might that mirror show me if this reflected my relationship with myself? Do I feel worthy? Do I value myself? How do I show my value?

Do I seem to struggle with money (accumulating, keeping, making the most of it, etc.)? Does money fill an emotional void in my life? Do material objects do that? Or is money simply a tool or an energy exchange for me? How might a shift in perspective help resolve my relationship to money — and ultimately towards myself?

Taurus teaches us about the power of beauty, and about things that make us happy on a physical level — we are also called to develop our talents and sense of self-worth — and are helped to discover and manifest what we truly value and enjoy.

If we are to experience the highest vibration of Taurus, a healthy sense of self-worth is critical, so ask yourself: What matters most to me? What makes me happy, deep down? What is in the way of me honoring the physical plane? Of honoring my body? The planet? Physical beauty?

What is between me and feeling valued in the world? What if I was the only one of me there will ever be? What might my value be then?

In Taurus, we discover what we most require; in Scorpio, we explore what we most desire… and fear.

Let’s move to some of the aspects of this Lunar Eclipse chart: The Moon conjuncts Jupiter in Taurus, giving this Eclipse a more pronounced flavor of expansion and excitement.

This also gives us extra energy and excitement to see things from a different perspective, be less afraid of making mistakes, and keep going with whatever feels most aligned with our values and brings the most financial growth.

Ask yourself: Where am I waiting to create more abundance? What perspective shifts would be most beneficial to my bank account now?

What if life were happening “for me” instead of “to me”? What if abundance was everywhere, no matter where I looked? Could I just decide to believe that? Just decide that was the case?

We have an opportunity here to look at our beliefs in connection with physical comforts and anything that gives us pleasure and stability and see if those beliefs align with what nurtures us.

It’s worthwhile to ponder philosophical questions about whether or not our needs are being met — and whether our physical comforts leave us feeling nurtured.

The next 39 days will be an opportunity to expand our perspectives on financial issues or concerns — or look at our physical reality and what feeds us.

The Moon not only opposes the Sun in Scorpio but also opposes Mercury & Mars in Scorpio; in other words, there is a Sun/Mercury/Mars alignment in Scorpio that makes an almost exact opposition to the Moon/Jupiter alignment in Taurus!

This alignment between the Sun, Mercury & Mars brings a heightened focus towards thinking about the depth of our psyche, facing our worst fears, or dealing with loss in some way — in particular, letting go of the “old”, to let in the “new”.

Ask yourself: If I remain attached to the “old” (perhaps through fear of letting go of it to meet the “new”), might this create some difficulties for me? If I let go of the old, could it help me build inner strength? Am I ready for “the new”? Can I trust the process? The cycles of Life?

Am I noticing an obsessive quality in my thinking? Am I afraid of something terrible happening? Or just concerned?

Where am I trying to control what’s outside of me? How’s that working for me? What might happen if I focused on empowering myself and others? What if I opened my heart 5% wider? What if I surrendered 5% of my fears? What if I experiment with taking a deep breath when I feel impatient or rushed?

Something to be aware of: We may take things a little too personally. This combo could make it challenging for others to engage in a healthy dialogue with us. We may obsess over something and favor being “right” over being happy.

The opposition to the Moon/Jupiter alignment brings impulsiveness, insatiable desires, and daring behaviors. Since we have Jupiter & Mars involved in this opposition, there is a real spirit of adventure. We need to be aware of wanting too much from ourselves or others.

Our sex drive might be increased for the next 39 days, and we may feel that we don’t have enough sex – or enough experience. Our impulsiveness might be combined with feeling competitive, leading to gambling, not just with money, but with other people’s feelings or risky behaviors.

We might gloss over realistic details, which could get us into debt. We might overindulge in pleasures such as food and drink and promise more than we can deliver.

Ask yourself: When is it time to stop (or at least slow down) so I can feel satisfied with what I am engaging in? When do I know that enough is enough? Could I be 5% more realistic about what I have (materially speaking) and what I can share? How might I channel these energies into projects that can bring emotional and financial fulfillment?

The Moon sextiles an exalted Saturn in Pisces. Saturn is exalted until November 14th, and Saturn will end its 5-month retrograde phase (that started on June 17th) on Nov. 4th. As best as you can during the time of its station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations.

You can join us at our next Forecasting Forum on Oct. 27th at 5pm EDT. We will talk about the Saturn Station phase and its direct motion in relationship to our Birth charts… To register while the Early Bird Pricing is still available, click here now. To be automatically registered monthly, become a Star Member on my site.

The Moon’s Sextile to Saturn is an opportunity to create a finer balance between our need for safety around our physical/material realities and our need to keep things real in the energetic, spiritual, or intuitive realm.

It is also an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives — we are more likely to find an increased focus on spiritual, inner self-mastery, coupled with feeling nurtured when it comes to our physical comforts and realities.

Ask yourself: Could I trust my inner knowing (or intuition) 5% more? What spiritual practices could support me on this inward journey? What resonates with my core? What is realistic and practical?

What practices would support an experience of greater abundance and self-worth? What am I being asked to give up for a stronger connection to my inner guidance? Could a different approach towards “timing” support me in understanding the actual value of something?

Venus (the ruler of Taurus) is currently in Virgo and trines Uranus & Jupiter in Taurus. This combo helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual. It brings a sense of optimism and excitement about social interactions.

Our outlook is more cheerful and hopeful, the atmosphere cooperative yet grounded in reality — it’s an excellent time for winning people’s enthusiasm.

Ask yourself: How could I implement revolutionary financial or social practices that support my current values and make life more enjoyable for me and everyone who interacts with me socially or receives my services or what I have to offer?

What financial opportunities are opening up to me at this time? What connections might bring about expansion? What if I asked “who” as often as I asked “how”?

Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces. This opposition asks us to dissolve anything we valued in the past that no longer serves us or provides a closer connection to the divine. Compassion may play a significant role in our interactions.

Ask yourself: What is in alignment with my higher Self? Can I find a way to connect the dots between a scientific and spiritual approach? Could I be open to the idea that all things are connected, even those that seem impossible to reconcile? Where might “perfect” and “exact” be overrated?

As best as you can, find your inner balance with what’s real and what’s not… and allow others and yourself to be human, limitations and all.

The modern ruler of Scorpio (Pluto) is still in Capricorn and exalted, sextiling Neptune in Pisces. Pluto stationed direct on October 10th, but it will still be moving slower and therefore exalted until Oct. 31st!

The Sextile to Neptune presents an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something tangible — this is also an opportune time to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals.

Ask yourself: Might trusting emotional connections lead to more authentic and passionate engagement with what I’m building for the long term?

Is it at least possible that combining imagination with trust in divine guidance would support my empowerment in society? What would I do if directing kindness toward the world would bring peace to my life and heart?

Pluto also still squares the Moon Nodes in Aries-Libra. This combo will remain strong until Dec. 8th, 2023. We get a significant opportunity to stretch and grow on our collective and individual Soul’s Journey! It indicates a turning point — individually and collectively speaking!

We are invited to let go of what is destructive to ourselves or others. Ask yourself: What do I see? What am I painfully aware of? What stems from the past and needs to be transformed?

What might open up if I placed 5% more focus on self-care and self-nurturing? How could I connect more powerfully with my ability to feel safe from within? Could I release all fears and trust life?

Pluto also trines Uranus in Taurus. With this combo, we can better connect to anything that involves an empowering long-term involvement. We might also implement revolutionary business practices or government programs that support our values and make life tangibly more enjoyable.

Ask yourself: How might new, fresh, and practical ideas create progress with my long-term goals connected to finances or my standing in society? Where am I ready for change? Where do I need to stop underestimating myself?

Where do I need to break free from conventional approaches and find a way to individuate so I can honor my talents and what’s important to me on the physical plane?

This combo underlines the message that we are ready to take the next big step on our path. We can recalibrate ourselves. Shifts and changes are on the horizon!

To sum up: this Lunar Eclipse challenges us to rethink our interactions with others, use our power wisely, and remember we are all interconnected in this vast social experiment. Hating or disconnecting from other people is not going to change that!

We can see how far we have come since November 2021 when facing our fears and valuing ourselves and our authentic relationships with others.

Ask yourself: What fears or inauthentic (or even toxic) relationships must I still release or transform if I am to step into greater abundance and happiness in my life?

This potent Full Moon also asks us to break away from anything keeping us from honoring our uniqueness and quirks — and from whatever has us in a rut, collectively and individually.

Shifts are happening everywhere. It’s time to develop some self-love and awareness. Ask yourself: Where do I want to have more certainty? Where do I want to break free? How is my body recalibrating to break free from outdated habits that keep me in lower/denser vibrational states?

Our thinking may become obsessive over the next 39 days, but becoming controlling (or even paranoid) does not serve us — choose your battles wisely and seek to provide empowerment wherever possible. As best as you can, come from love, not fear! Give yourself permission to rest and heal.

Use the power of this Lunar Eclipse to get grounded in your physical and emotional body, break up any stagnation in your system or your relationships, and accelerate your transformation by immersing yourself in a deeper connection to all of life.

Here are a few final coaching questions for this Lunar Eclipse: If letting go always brought more peace, what would I dare to release? If I knew that holding on kept me small, could I let go?

Remember: When enough of us can recalibrate our energy levels to a higher frequency and authentically integrate all of who we are (the good, the bad, and the ugly), those who feed on the denser energies will either change or make space for new life to come through.

Ask yourself often: What if I were in human form at this time to assist with birthing a new and higher collective consciousness on Earth? What if I could do that without making anyone else wrong? What if we could actually achieve that one human at a time?

Please keep in mind that we are still in Eclipse season until November 7th. So, as best you can, trust that whatever is leaving is making space for something better — the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be.

Stay grounded and flexible — and don’t jump the gun for the next 2-3 weeks — if you feel compelled to do something, do your best to observe the urge — unless it is connected to something that happens organically — if you are ambivalent about a possible action, better hold off until Eclipse Season ends on November 7th.

The more an Eclipse activates our birth chart, the more we feel impelled to go to the next level. Because Eclipses are so powerful, they require a bigger orb than a regular Full or New Moon. I usually use a 5º orb instead of 2º — so since this Lunar Eclipse takes place in 5 degrees of Taurus:

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-10 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month’s powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. The same is true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
