A Strong Desire for Independence — Forecast for Nov. 2nd – 8th

 

This week’s headline items: Mercury comes to a halt on Tuesday afternoon, ending its 3-week Retrograde phase, and beginning its post-Shadow phase; Mars’ Station intensifies on Wednesday, while Mercury’s Station ends on Saturday. The last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Sunday morning.

There will only be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday morning (for almost 8 hours), and Friday evening (for almost 6 hours).

Now, this week’s Forecast…

 

Monday, Nov. 2nd:

Monday, the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 5:00am EST; until then we love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and “rushing things” goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next three days? It’s probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses 😉 This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact Saturday late morning).

The Moon Void of Course (VoC) (that lasts until 5:00am EST) invites you to slow down a little (if you are already awake during this intuitive time) and focus on what’s sitting right in front of you that needs to be taken care of, so you can get to the next phase of accomplishment. Rushing will backfire right now.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time.

Monday at 5am EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon.

For the next 2.5 days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. “Busy” feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way. The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead 🙂

Monday late afternoon, consider connecting with others, socializing, and taking a compassionate approach toward yourself and others, especially when it comes to personal goals and passions. Ask yourself: what if taking a compassionate approach towards myself and others actually made for more fulfilling connections?
