Greater Awareness — Forecast for Jan. 21st – 27th

 

This week’s headline items: a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse becomes exact on Monday every early morning; Mercury changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius on Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning; there will be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for two hours), Thursday late morning (for a little over 14 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for a little over two hours).

Monday, Jan. 21st:

Monday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.

We all love to be admired and — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness… 🙂 So if you can, hand out some compliments, let people in your life know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart with this and all other things: be honest, authentic.

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Monday very early morning, at 12:16am EST, this month’s powerful Full Moon (in almost 1 degrees of Leo) becomes exact. This is also a Lunar Eclipse and a SuperMoon. Sunday evening (Jan. 20th), saw the entrance of the Moon into Leo, starting the energetic build up toward the Full Moon; relationships of all kinds are highlighted.

Once every six months, the Sun, Moon, and Earth align precisely enough for a Solar or Lunar Eclipse to occur. Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio or 26-29 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday morning, a challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 6:48am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last week Tuesday (Jan. 15th) on; it will be strong until this Saturday (Jan. 26th). This is a “stretch” aspect — it’s characterized by inner conflict — as well as a maturity process that requires adjustments and flexibility on our part.

On the one hand, we want to pursue personal goals and move fast — we probably feel impatient about any projects connected to something we feel passionate about — and we want our physical bodies to be active (e.g. working out).

On the other hand, we also feel the need to focus on our long-term goals — taking it one step at a time, building something solid that can last. in other words, we are also being asked to take a realistic and mature approach to our long-term aspirations.

As best as you can, make space for both of these desires.

We also tend to be more cautious now. We may experience a temporary loss of enthusiasm — or setbacks that make us doubt our ability to win in life. We are learning to live life in moderation; this might be frustrating at first.

Pushing too hard (or too fast) doesn’t always get us the results we want: It might be time to slow down a little and catch our breath. That way, we can come back later, with a stronger, more mature and focused approach.
