Forecast for Mon., Jan. 29th  – Sun., Feb. 4th, 2018

Last week for me was very much connected to the Mercury/Pluto alignment in Capricorn. I was quite aware of my obsessive thinking — I had to give myself lots of permission to allow thoughts to move through awareness, then release them as much as possible — and this helped me get centered in love again rather than fear. I did my best to live from a place of  “all is well” and “there is no-one to blame”; this served all my interactions — especially the ones with myself 😉

Before we get to this week’s forecast, I have one quick announcement:

Last chance to sign up for my MONTHLY FORECASTING FORUM, this on Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 11am PST/2pm EST/7pm GMT (London-time). Please note that we have a Lunar Eclipse in Leo this week, and a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius coming up in mid February!

If you want to align yourself with these powerful, evolutionary Lunations and further your Soul’s journey, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video presentation.

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get — and it’s still only $24 for the 90+ minute webinar. To register now, click here

This week’s headline items: On Wednesday morning, a powerful Full-Super-Blue-Moon/Lunar Eclipse becomes exact on Wednesday morning and Mercury changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for a little over 2 hours), Thursday early morning (for a little over 8 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (for a little over 14.5 hours).

Monday (January 29th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt — so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days 😉

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others — home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Monday late morning, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored.

Monday early afternoon requires some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice, one that demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to connect to like-minded people that share our vision — and on the other hand, the need to nurture ourselves and stay in touch with our feeling body.

Monday late evening, we may take an all-or-northing attitude toward others; this could drive some tension or oppositional behaviors… As best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body — that way, you’ll remain able to empower yourself and others.

Tuesday (January 30th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 1:53pm EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 11:40am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 2 hours, until 1:53pm EST. Use this intuitive time to find balance between nurturing and self-care, versus achieving your goals. As always during VoC, take it easy — go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan late morning and early afternoon ahead of time 🙂

Tuesday at 1:53pm EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leowhere it will journey until Thursday afternoonWe may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Lunar Eclipse — a very powerful Full Moon (exact on Wednesday morning).

We all love to be admired — or at the very least acknowledged — for our greatness 🙂 So hand out some compliments — let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things… be honest and authentic, as best you can.

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no “outer children” around, how about getting in touch with your “inner child” — it’s definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Wednesday (January 31st): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Wednesday morning, at 8:27am EST: the Moon opposes the Sun in 11.5 degrees of Leo — a very powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Leo Tuesday at 1:53pm EST.

Once every six months, the Sun, Moon, and Earth finally align precisely enough for a Solar or Lunar Eclipse to occur; Eclipses are always powerfully connected to the Moon Nodes and thus to our Soul’s Journey. If you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

This Full Moon is the first of two Eclipses within the next four weeks and it’s extra-powerful — firstly, because it’s a SuperMoon — these occur when the Moon is either Full or New, while at its closest distance to the Earth; they are therefore more powerful. This often means an increase in emotional reactions, plus greater awareness around the issues connected to the particular Full Moon energy in question.

Secondly, as the second Full Moon of this calendar month, it is also a “Blue Moon” — so I think we can go ahead and call it a SuperBlue Moon 🙂

Given that our SuperBlue Full Moon is happening in the Leo/Aquarius polarity, there’s extra emphasis on increasing awareness of our mind’s activities, and on opening our heart chakras. As we do this, we can open more to joy, and be more playful.

Lunar Eclipses generally direct our attention to our “emotional body” and our relationships; they also connect us more fully to our Soul’s journey (as shown by the Moon Nodes). This particular Eclipse focuses on the relationship between the individual (Leo) and the collective (Aquarius).

We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored — or, this being a North Node Eclipse, what needs to be embraced, integrated and explored — in regards to the Leo energy.

It’s been 19 years since we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in this degree… Think back to Jan. 31st, 1999: What did I need to open my heart to back then? What became more clear at that time, in regards to exploring joy? Was I able to get in touch with my inner child?

This is the third Lunar Eclipse in a 23-month cycle of Eclipses, all connected to the Leo/Aquarius polarity; the cycle in question began in February 2017 with a Lunar Eclipse in Leo and will last until Jan. 2019, ending with yet another Lunar Eclipse in Leo.

Think back to February of last year: What started shifting for me, in my attitudes towards the collective (or “humanity”)? How about like-minded people? Was there likewise a shift in my desire for more joy? Self-expression? Heartfelt actions? If I think back to the last Solar Eclipse in Leo from August 21st, 2017, what has brought the possibility for more joy into my life?

Life-changing revelations are more likely over the next two weeks — and with them, shifts in our consciousness — and the impact of an Eclipse’s energy also lasts longer than a regular Lunation (anywhere from 6 months to 2 years!)

I will talk about the upcoming Eclipses in more detail in my next Forecasting Forum — if you want to know how the Eclipses are going to impact you personally, feel free to join us — we will apply what’s coming up, to our own birth charts. The Forum will be live on Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 2pm EST/7pm GMT (London-time); for more info or to register, click here

This particular Eclipse focuses on authentic self-expression and creativity. Ask yourself: What might open up if I expressed myself with my heart as my center? With more courage? If I were too much in my head, what would tip me off to that? What might my world look like, if I allowed my light to shine just a little brighter?

We are also invited to allow head and heart to merge, bringing about a brighter future for humankind — what would it look like if I allowed that merger? What if I chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered and authentic place? What if I simply chose that, right now?

Leo represents our individual expression, the kind of light we came to shine, joy we came to spread. Leo is the sign of individual creativity; Aquarius represents the power of collaboration, where the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Aquarius, connects us to the complex patterns formed by many coming together.

This means it’s important to be especially aware and responsible when connecting with others. As best as you can, get present and ask yourself: What am I bringing forth? What are my intentions? What is in my heart that longs to be expressed? Do I have the courage to stand in my authentic self-expression?

If we want to see a greater shift in the world at large (an Aquarian concern), we must each do our own part and express our unique gifts (Leo’s imperative). That said, if we don’t come from the heart — or if we get stuck over-thinking things and/or being overly concerned with what other people are thinking — we will not be able to fulfill on that vision.

The Moon in Leo makes a Quincunx to Neptune in Pisces. This might bring some internal discomfort; we need to make inner adjustments here. It nudges us to tune into our intuition, and create from a place of love rather than fear.

Ask yourself: What if it were possible to get really in tune with my intuitive feeling body and express myself fully, with courage and without compromise? Might an introverted approach like that serve my extroverted, unique expression of Self? How can I transform lower vibrational feelings? For example, how might I transform fear into love? What approach might support such a transformation?

The Sun (ruler of Leo) in Aquarius conjoins the South Node and Venus in Aquarius. This reminds us that each one of us has an electromagnetic field, and are an integral part of a much larger field, where our thoughts, growth, and actions interweave and affect the course of humanity. Together, we are exponentially more powerful.

Uranus (the modern ruler of Aquarius) is currently in Aries. It’s making a Square to Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn. We are invited to be more honest with ourselves and others (especially about our fears and desires), and to pay attention to our thinking patterns, especially in regards to achieving things out there in the world.

In fact, you could say we are being invited to bring an innovative approach to who we are “out there in the world” — and to our interactions with others… In other words: To step it up — and walk our unique path. To inspire others. Life is too short to waste on things we are less than fully passionate about, that don’t fully express our uniqueness.

Ask yourself: What is being radically transformed in my life? Where am I being invited to confront outdated thought-forms? What’s the relationship between my inner teenager and my inner adult?

Pluto represents the courage it takes to face our shadows and fears — and if we can do that, we can discover our true motivations, desires — and our true power. What do I get obsessed about? What scares me the most, when it comes to fully committing to things I feel passionate about?

Take a look back at situations that felt disempowering — and at situations that evoked some sort of helpless fury. When in the past have I given my power away to others, especially authority figures? Was it really about me? What did I choose in that moment?

Saturn (the traditional ruler of Aquarius) currently in its own sign. Here is a quote that fits really beautifully with this energy: “The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift of life is yours—it’s an amazing journey, and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. Your journey is determined by the choices you make. Your answers are determined by the questions you ask. Your destination is determined by the steps you take. Your future is determined by what you do today.” — Dan Zadra

We are also encouraged during this Full Moon to acknowledge that we are all in this together, and that each one of us has the ability to effect change by tapping into our courage, and living our vision in every moment — and this takes dropping into our hearts more fully.

For this Full SuperBlue Moon/Lunar Eclipse you could ask yourself these questions too: How might I learn about self-love? What if I chose to love the world as if it was a reflection of my heart and soul? What if I did that while expressing my unique soul-self, my unique spirit? Where do the inner and the outer experiences of love and connectedness meet?

Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical during Eclipse season! Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest — and allow affection in from friends, family, or pets. Connecting to what feels supportive in order to stay grounded and regenerate ourselves can be very helpful as well.

There are so many more aspects we could talk about with this Lunar Eclipse chart, I’d need an hour-and-a-half to cover it all — and that’s just what I’ll be doing during the 90-minute Monthly Forecasting Forum on Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 2pm EST/7pm GMT (London-time) click here to register 🙂

This Lunar Eclipse shows us that there is always work to be done — and there’s no need to get overwhelmed by that, because we all have the power to do it. All we have to do is look into our own heart and see the strength and love lying there. Ask yourself: Where could I be the voice? Where could I be or become the visionary? What if I accepted that I am the hero/heroine of my story? What is my role at this pivotal time?

Remember: No effort is too small, no step too modest… And most important of all, perhaps: it’s never too late to be the one who makes a difference — especially when it comes from the heart and feels authentic!

As best as you can, trust that you have what it takes to make a difference for yourself and others. And if you’d like to learn more about this month’s Full Moon, click here to watch my Lunar Eclipse video.

A final note about Eclipses: they’re consciousness upgrades, so for 7 – 10 days before and after one, we are usually in uncharted territory — anything is possible and it’s wise to expect the unexpected. Anything brand-new started during this time will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after Eclipse season is over.

For that reason, try to defer any major brand-new projects until after Feb. 25th, when this particular Eclipse season ends. That said, if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic, allow it to “be”… Just be wary of the urge to push something forward merely to relieve anxiety or impatience.

Allow for the upgrade to download, staying centered and doing your best to “ground” from within — try using conscious breathing, and regard flexibility as a tool. Best of all, see if you can move to the “observer position” when it comes to the emotional and mental body…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or personal planets in 6-17 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you are more affected by this month’s Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Wednesday at 8:39am EST, Mercury leaves practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn and moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking, objective Aquarius. It will journey there until February 17th. For the next three weeks, we tend to contradict others more quickly, and offer a different perspective. We enjoy intellectual debates. We are quicker and more alert; our powers of observation are particularly strong.

We have something interesting to say, and our perspective on issues can be delightfully unusual and surprisingly insightful. This makes for some great conversations. We are more attracted to scientific and/or metaphysical pursuits right now. Anything that promises progress and advancement for mankind has special appeal.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for focusing on your future and any humanitarian causes. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Aquarius? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks.

Thursday (February 1st): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 2:13pm EST (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Thursday at 5:59am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 8 hours, until 2:13pm EST. During this intuitive time, have fun connecting with others and doing things that bring you joy — explore something different, take a risk.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning until early afternoon ahead of time 🙂

Thursday at 2:13pm EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Saturday late afternoon; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world — things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Friday (Feb. 2nd): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday late morning, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Friday early afternoon calls for some inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice. Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to engage in humanitarian causes — and on the other hand, the need to  tend to our daily routines.

Friday late evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

Saturday (February 3rd): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 4:47pm EST (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Saturday at 2:07am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 14.5 hours, until 4:47pm EST. Use this intuitive time to get organized, improve daily routines, and to develop more awareness of how that all fits in with expanding intimate connections with others.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday very early morning until the late afternoon ahead of time 🙂

Saturday late morning, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 10:57am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday morning on; it will remain strong until Sunday evening. This aspect provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align; words and deeds connect with ease. As with any opportunity, we have to “take” this one: it will not happen by itself.

What actions are calling to you today? How might those actions be connected to other like-minded people… or a vision you have for humanity’s future?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 3-7 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)

Saturday at 4:47pm EST, the Moon moves into relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Monday late afternoon. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation — but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to “yes” more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can’t make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm — even if it’s “No” 😉 One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Sunday (February 4th): the Moon remains in relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra all day (see Saturday late afternoon for details).

Sunday very early morning, a challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 1:07am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will remain strong until next week Tuesday (Feb 6th). This aspect asks that we question our most fundamental beliefs and conditioning around the visions we value (and the people that share those visions) and how we view our intimate relationships.

We have the opportunity here to grow beyond our understanding of what our values get us. Issues connected to love, relationships, and whatever is most valuable to us, can seem overwhelming at this time. This is because we have a tendency to overindulge or over-promise.

We mean well, because we are feeling quite optimistic at this time — but we may underestimate how much time we actually have, or how good a fit something actually is. Overspending could be connected to this aspect as well (as could making assumptions in our relationships); as best as you can, bring a non-judgmental awareness to any such tendencies.

What are you observing about yourself and your relationships with others? What is enough… and what is too much?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-25 degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo or Taurus? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

A head’s up for next Monday (Feb. 5th): the Moon remains in relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra until 10:56pm EST (see Saturday late afternoon for details). At 1:46pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 9 hours, until 10:56pm EST.  You may want to plan Monday afternoon and evening ahead of time 🙂

At 10:56pm EST, the Moon moves into Scorpio, where it will journey until next week Thursday morning (Feb. 8th). This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (which, will be exact next week Wednesday — Feb. 7th). More about all the details in next week’s forecast 😉
